Hearing aids are devices that are worn in or around the ear to amplify sound. They can be used to improve hearing in people of all ages, but are most commonly used by older adults. There are many different types and styles of hearing aids, and choosing the right one depends on the individual’s needs and preferences.
Hearing aids can make a big difference in the lives of older adults. They can improve communication, social interactions, and overall quality of life. In some cases, hearing aids may even help to prevent or delay the onset of dementia.
If you or a loved one are considering a hearing aid, it is important to consult with a hearing healthcare professional to find the best solution for your needs.

3M WorkTunes Wireless Hearing Protector with Bluetooth Technology
Bluetooth connectivity lets you pair this hearing protector with compatible devices easily
Automatic shut-off feature aids to save power for enhanced performance
Safe volume control technology allows for increased volume, yet corrects to maintain safe levels over an 8-hour work day. Audio assist technology provides setup and operational guidance without having to remove the headset.
Features a rotary tuning dial so you can operate your Bluetooth wireless technology enabled device from the headset, eliminating cords. Vented headband design with removable padding for use with hats.
Simple funcation button and power changing indicator light. Easy-to-use ON/OFF volume control. AM/FM digital radio with enhanced radio performance for clearer sound quality; saves up to 50 stations. Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) 24dB.
With high-definition sound quality and a flat, natural frequency response, the E3000C Hi-Res Earphone will vividly broadcast your music with well-balanced low to high frequencies. The smooth arc of the frequency spectrum ensures that no sound or instrument will go unheard in your music—only high-resolution output.
With a swing fit mechanism, these earpieces can be swung left and right and tilted towards the audio canal for a perfect fit. This prevents changes in shape owing to the aperture of the earpiece coming into contact with the audio canal.
The sound is transmitted directly to the eardrum, delivering clear sound. The small-aperture 6. 4mm diameter dynamic driver unit boasts an extraordinarily high level of precision for this price range.
Machined from stainless steel and with a mirror finish, the housing firmly supports the driver unit and suppresses unnecessary vibrations—an important element with respect to sound quality. Fitting of a device for the mature listener, this is a design that has a simple shape and a high-quality texture matched with classic sound quality.
Also, like a high-end studio monitor or home speaker, the sound quality of these headphones improve with regular use. After about 150-200 hours, the small apertures increase in delicacy and sound quality follows.
They sound decent. Warm sounding v-shaped earbuds. The stainless steel is beautiful. The wire is super thin and is definitely a point of failure. I like that I can wear them down instead of around my ear.
Decent throwaways that I can wear without caring so much about.
Small earphones come with a variety of tips and non-removable cord. These fit me about as well as any and offer a smooth, refined sound that doesn’t lack any detail. No hot top end with the Finals. Like all in-ear phones, the fit and seal go a long way to determining the sound quality.
I prefer standard over-the-ear style phones, but for convenience and travel these are the ones I use. Plus they are at a good price.
As a Prog rock fan, I have done lots of searching for nice “bassy” in ear headphones. So far these have been the best. Others i have bought over the years have broken after a short period of time. These are real sturdy.
They also stay in your ears, as I mainly use them when I go for a run.
The Peltor Tactical 100 Electronic Hearing Protector helps you fire safely. It suppresses the sound of gunshots to defend your ears against damage, while it also amplifies low-level sounds to make it easier to hear your pray in the woods.
This Peltor TAC100-OTH hearing protector uses a variable suppression time feature to reduce echoes so you can use it during indoor shooting sessions. The earphones can reduce sound by as much as 22 dB at a time, which makes it suitable for use with handguns, rifles and shotguns.
Its headband is a re-engineered design over previous models that’s more comfortable to use and fits snugly for more secure use. Its microphones are recessed to keep them from picking up the wind.
I’ve had these for the last year and wanted to sincerely put em though the gamut. I pretty much lived in them for 8 months at a time. They are very comfortable to wear and very durable. When shooting outside I liked them the best.
I could still hear others speak while others were shooting around me. Indoors not so much. Battery life is good, 3 sets of batteries using them 3 days a week @ 8 months. The Bluetooth is a great addition.
I can carry a conversation over Bluetooth when shooting and the person on the other end doesn’t know I’m at the range, unless I tell em. I definitely will buy them again. If they ever die on me!!.
New: Meet the accessory you need for your TV. QuietTV Wireless Headphones for TV let you make the most of every moment with crystal-clear sound and unmatched comfort. Personalize your TV experience with sound customized to your hearing and stop fighting with your family over the volume.
Rechargeable Quiet TV headphones are perfect for seniors and hearing impaired individuals looking for a boost to their hearing while watching movies or streaming television.
They are wonderful. I listen at my own volume level. However they are very uncomfortable to wear. I have other in ear devices but these are very hard on the ears. I have just changed the ear buds but I don’ think this is the answer.
They are fairly heavy and as a result give you sore ears. I think if they were designed to go over your head it would be much better. However they do the job exactly as stated. Dave.
My MDHearingAid seems to work very well for my left ear. With my left ear I can hear the TV better & I can also understand better what people say. As you may have heard from others & I feel the same, before getting a hearing aid, it’s like we can still hear the same as usual but we don’t understand what people are saying.
One thing I especially like about the MDHearingAid is that it comes with a charger device. That was one of the main things I was looking for when I researched the kind of hearing aids I wanted to purchase.
The price of the MDHearingAid was another thing that made me decide what to buy. I have had surgery in my right ear & I don’t notice any improvement in that ear with a hearing aid.
Considering price and ease of using them they are great ! Love not having to put in batteries and having that expense too. I can’t think of any negatives about this product. Alberta Addy
Styled in black, the Sony MDR-1AM2 are wired, circumaural headphones suitable for use with high-resolution audio formats, delivering an open and lifelike sound where DSD is concerned. The headphones utilize an aluminum-coated LCP diaphragm to deliver a precise sound, as well as silver-coated oxygen-free copper cabling to fight against signal degradation, resulting in finer detail and smoother highs.
Sony claims these headphones provide a frequency response of 3 Hz to 100 kHz, which makes them suited for high-resolution audio formats without coloring the sound by extraneous, upper-frequency filtering.
For the low-end, built-in Beat Response Control improves the transient response of the bass registers, so you can feel the music as well as hear it. Despite their 40mm drivers, these headphones are lightweight at 6.
6 oz. They also swivel, packing flat to aid in traveling, and provide soft synthetic-leather earpads for comfort. In addition to a connection cable with a standard 3. 5mm stereo plug, the MDR-1AM2 supplies a cable for balanced connections, along with another cable sporting a microphone and an in-line remote.
CONs: > Very low impedance (16 Ohms) > Earpads not replaceable > V-shape tuning has too much bass & treble > Cable connectors are proprietary (cable replacement is problematic) PROs > Comfortable > Portable > 4.
4 mm balanced cable included > Lightweight build without squeaky noises > Well-built cables with connectors that are easy to plug & unplug Let’s begin by stating that these headphones are very comfortable and stable on your head.
Perhaps only people with larger ears might find some discomfort as the earcups are not particularly spacious (similar size to WH-1000XM3). Build quality is good, despite being mainly plastic. The plastic feels flexible and remains silent when the earcups are moved.
One downside, though, is that both the earpads and headband are not replaceable. Hence, Sony has limited the useful life of this product without any reason. Most wired closed-backs give you the option of replacing the earpads at least.
Going into the sound, we find a very evident boost in both the bass and treble. The bass is not as problematic here as the high peak found around 8kHz. This peak tends to exaggerate the sound of trumpets and cymbals and becomes fatiguing while creating an articial timbre.
The boosted bass and treble makes it harder for the midrange to shine through; even though the midrange is very linear and nice on this headphone, it gets lost between these two ‘mountains’. Does it sound better than a good Bluetooth headphone? If you use a good 4.
4 mm audio source (i. e. iFi Hip-Dac2) and play CD or Hi-Res audio files, yes. If you plug them directly to your Android phone and listen to MP3 files. you won’t notice a significant upgrade in audio quality vs.
a WH-1000XM3. Since these headphones come with a 4. 4 mm balanced audio cable (not found on any smartphone, laptop or tablet), it is clear that Sony is pushing you to pair these headphones with a good audio source (Amp/DAC).
Why then is the impedance on these headphones rated at 16 Ohms? It is no secret to any audio enthusiast that very low impedances (< 32 Ohms) generate distortion, especially when plugged to good amplifiers.
So mixing a 4. 4 mm balanced Hi-Res audio cable with a 16-ohm headphone makes no sense. This headphone could definitely be better.
I owned the previous MDR-1A, and whereas they were truly a revelation compared to even a $600 pair of Sennheiser headphones I had owned previously, the “improved” follow-on model is middle-of-the-road as headphones go at best.
They feel much “cheaper”, the the low-end is muffled, and the high end is bright to the point of being shrill. The only reason I got these was because the single-ended cable on my MDR-1A’s went out, Sony service at first said that they would ship a replacement cable, but then a couple of weeks later contacted me to tell me that I’d have to send everything in to them.
I went to just buy another pair, as they had been on the market several years and ended up with this “improved” model because little did I know they had recently discontinued the MDR-1A and replaced it with these (at the same price point).
I would say definitely NOT an improvement, more like a way to cut production costs drastically and keeping the price the same probably double the profit margin. I would have returned them and moved up to the MDR-Z7, but it too had been replaced by the MDR-Z7M2 that I have read is the same story.
I don’t understand Sony — with the Hi-Res Audio initiative they came out guns blazing with products that truly met that moniker, only to within a few years seemingly abandon them (everywhere but he Japanese market).
It’s like a repeat a decade later of the incredible push and high quality components and discs for SACD, and today you’re hard pressed to even find a mention that it ever existed on any Sony website.
For their part, “audiophiles” have been a big part of the problem in both cases. Even when there was a full thriving line of ES components, just because Sony’s largest sales came from mass-market components and not niche “boutique” products at prices to match, they immediately dismissed any Sony Audio components as cheap garbage.
I guess that’s why Soby offers so few Hi-Res Audio components and the ES line of audio components is essentially dead. Bottom line: The MDR-1A’s were a brilliant pair of headphones that sounded like a pair that cost well above twice the price they sold for.
A $50 pair of Sony headphones I bought in the early 90’s sounded better than the MDR-1AM2’s.
Sony beats many, many other way more expensive brands with these headphones. Right out of the box, connected to Spotify on iPhone these sound soooo good! With a little tweaking they are just incredible! Crisp but not too sharp.
Great all across the range. They sound a lot better than the highly revered WH-1000XM4. The trade-off is no noise cancelling and no wireless but. you have to know what your priorities are. If it’s sound quality these should be your no brainer choice.
Yes, this is one of those typical moments where you will want to re-listen to all your favorite music and will never want to go back to a different set of headphones. As many other reviewers mentioned these are also VERY lightweight and SUPER comfortable to wear for long hours.
Another advantage: no battery to re-charge and worry about :).
The Shure KSE1200 is a sound-isolating electrostatic earphone amplifier system designed to deliver clear and precise audio reproduction for music enthusiasts and audiophiles in treated listening rooms or on the go.
Its 3. 5mm line input accepts analog signal from most mobile devices, laptops, and computers. The system includes an amplifier in a sturdy aluminum housing, electrostatic earphones, and a variety of accessories.
The amplifier’s internal rechargeable Li-ion battery provides up to 12 hours of use while the amplifier delivers a constant 200 VDC bias for the supplied earphones. A -10 dB pad and adjustable volume control enable simple, effective management of levels.
The single-driver electrostatic earphones are positioned securely over the ears via formable wire. Personalize the fit using the included eartip fit kit for a tight seal and up to 37 dB of noise isolation.
The custom-designed earphone cable isolates each conductor to minimize extraneous noise and interference.
Why can Miles Davis speak so loudly clearly and lyrically when using a trumpet mute on Blue In Green from Kind of Blue? Answer: Shure’s electrostatic KSE1200s. The soft slow delicate song of Miles’ Martin Committee trumpet has never sounded more clear present and engaging.
I’m listening thanks to friends at Moon Audio to the Chord Electronics Hugo 2 DAC between my iPad Pro with Tidal streaming via a Silver Dragon cable to Apple CCK adapter (between the Hugo 2 and the iPad) Blue Dragon cables from Hugo 2 out to Shure’s new soulful in-ear-monitors (IEMs).
I like how Shure’s universal IEMs wrap behind the ear and then twist into my ear. Their choke can be moved to allow more or less line to the IEMs. The connection between ear and Shure’s flute is so good I don’t use the choke much.
As with any IEM the sound quality is intimately related to fit. Shure’s KSE1200’s fit great especially given their usual gaggle of nipples for fit modification. I’m using Miles to mellow out. I started listening to Shure’s electrostatic wonders with Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars.
Bowie’s 1973 masterpiece #35 on Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums never sounded more immediate full and resonate. Sound quality credit needs to be shared with Chord’s Hugo 2 (about to write a review there too) and Moon Audios cables but the quick sure muscular and the full sound arrives in my ears thanks to Shure’s SE1200s.
How Shure can create an electrostatic IEM is technically beyond me but I’m fully spoiled now. I’ve owned just about every Shure IEM and can’t imagine going backward. The 425s sounded great then but they would feel thin and incomplete now.
After Ziggy and the Spiders I listened to Walk on the Wild Side from Lou Reed’s 1972 Transformer album not realizing Bowie produced arguably Reed’s best album. I’ve never heard backup vocals on Walk on the Wild Side via the Thunderthighs sound so clean fresh and supportive.
“And the colored girls go Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo…. ” has never sounded so good. Those London backup vocalists created an irresistible hook for Reed’s Warhol Superstar melancholy. When listening to new audio gear old tracks I’ve heard thousands of times help tease strengths and weakness.
I’ve heard Transformer’s Walk on the Wild Side backup vocals through hundreds of turntables amps preamplifiers and speakers. The Shure KSE1200s ability to melt away their creation of a large soundstage and addictive lyrical clear sound in the ranges I LOVE (mid to high) make Miles’ Freddie the Freeloader soulful bluesy and an aggressive walk with Chamber’s double bass.
When Freddie (Miles) shows up his horn moans cries and wanders. Cannonball Adderley’s saxophone ups the soulful moan moving Miles’ tempo and sound almost screaming his rejoiner. I’ve never heard the conversation between Miles’ trumpet and Adderley’s saxophone so clearly.
Whose fingers have more magic? Miles of course but there is plenty of magic to go around.
I tried those, because i wanted to know the difference to my SE846. The KSE1200 sound simply terrific in comparrison. But itsounds terrible with a line out connection. If you really want it sound perfectly, you need a player with usb connection.
For example a according Fiio player. If you hold the earphone amplifier together with the player in your hands, you will call that combination everything else than portable. This setup is not usable for me.
If shure would do the next logicl step, to integrate a player in the amplifier with at least 128GB memory and a SD slot for expansion, i would be the first customer for shure. ;-).
I use these while jogging/walking and while working. I previously used the Shure SE846 which were getting older but till sounded great but they were showing their age. I was worried about loosing the deep bass frequencies with the electrostatic speakers like I enjoyed on the 846’s.
These sound infinitely better than the 9846’s and are crisp and clear through all frequencies you can hear right down to the balanced bass response. These are incredible! #sweepstakes.

My $6,000. 00 Oticons sound like Donald Duck, while the Pocketalker sounds great. Love them!.
This unit is unbelievable compared to other more inferior units that are available. This was bought for my 91 year old Aunt with hearing issues. The hearing center wanted her business for a pair of $5000 hearing aides.
Of course she was profoundly deaf. She is not profoundly deaf but significantly. With this product she can just about do anything a hearing aid can but a hell of a lot cheaper. The durability of this product is obvious in the exterior packing of the unit.
the headset is good quality as well as the hearing single piece. Both of which can be purchased anywhere reasonably when they wear out or eventually break. My Aunt likes the options of a hang around the neck lanyard strap and a belt clip, which is durable and secure on your belt.
The flashing red light that faces her from below makes her aware its time to eventually replace batteries. There is a tone adjustment which basically enhances the tones of frequency loss you may experience.
My Aunt , which was told she was profoundly deaf by a hearing store, has her volume set on the device at 3. ( 10 maximum). She obviously is not profoundly deaf and certainly has more room to grow to accommodate more hearing loss over time.
My Aunt is a very humble, intelligent, and social person. This device is so perfect for her hearing loss, her humility to wear (display) such a device does not bother her in the least. ( It is quite a snappy looking device I must admit, much smaller than a pack of cigarettes.
The AA batteries ,we are watching their usage at this point in time thinking we will probably have to get into rechargeable AA at some point in time as at an approximate recharge rate of 700-1000 times , well you do the math.
The rechargeable will not last as long as the alkaline but having a second set charging is the smartest thing to do to prevent having no battery power, ever. This has been one week since my Aunt has been using the device and will not part at all with it.
Non-intrusive neck worn design with flat no tangle cables. Bluetooth includes a free control app that allows for complete control using your smart phone. Retractable digital earbuds. Rechargeable. Hi-Gain omnidirectional microphones for clear sound enhancement.
Includes 3 pairs of foam tips. Integrated micro USB port with charging cable. Four frequency modes: Universal Speech clarity Hi-frequency and Power boost. Independent volume control. Requires (1) Lithium battery (included).
Won’t even register on my new phone. Zero instructions in the box. App tells me to push the blue tooth pairing button. which one is that exactly? Again no instructions were included. While I’m at it, why do I have to download an app anyway? No other Bluetooth enabled device I’ve ever purchased has made me download an app, and why do you need my location? Just wierd.
Pros: Always ready to use while on the range. You can leave the buds in all day and adjust the sound feature to fit the need. Unlike orange foam plugs that you might need to take out, find a pocket, and hope you lose them.
NNR of 31 which is highest I’ve seen in a sleek package like this. Battery life is great. Cool and comfortable, unlike hot sweaty ear muffs. Great for pistols but they seem to get in the way of rifle stocks.
Easy to compress and insert foam buds. Easy to reset them if they are jarred loose. Cons: Rifle stock tends to hit the cord retract button. Very subtle difference between “Universal” “Clear voice” “Boost” and “High frequency boost.
I have been using these as a replacement for my original VXs. I love them, save for the one minute shut off warning. It seems to happen intermittently, with no pattern. I have turned on my podcast just after the warning and had it STILL shut off.
There is no way to adjust this with the useless “app”. I won’t be getting rid of them! They’re great! But that one issue is extraordinarily irritating.

Uses our HearingAssist app which gives you greater control over your sound environment. Charging case itself contains rechargeable battery so units can be charged on the go. Background noise cancellation, feedback suppression.
4 programs (Normal, restaurant, traffic, outdoor). Battery lasts 12 hours in full hearing mode and 2 in constant streaming mode. Case battery provides 4 charges prior to needing to plug in. Charge time about 2 hours empty to full.
This is such a wonderful kit. My dad suffers from Alzheimer’s and hearing loss, and it is already difficult enough to communicate with him but his behind the ear hearing pieces just do not work sufficiently for him to hear well.
I was so glad that I could introduce this kit to him. It is so easy to set up and personalize his needs with the Stream app. They work perfect to enhance people’s speech and sounds and they suppress background noise and feedback The earpieces look just like earbuds and feel very comfortable and do not interfere with his glasses.
I love that they are rechargeable and come with a rechargeable carrying case. The battery lasts up to 12 hours once fully charged and can even be charged on the go if necessary. This hearing assist connect kit has everything for my dad to be able to hear conversations and with the app it is easy to control the volume, background noise, music listening and tv watching.
He can be part of a conversation again thanks to this awesome kit.
I’m writing this review on behalf of my dad (Pops), who I gave these to as a gift. He started having some trouble hearing over the past year-ish. He owned a cheap pair of in-ear amplifiers but rarely used them bc they didn’t help much and he disliked the way they looked.
So, when he saw these Hearing Assist Hearables he was excited. He really likes the way they look because they look a lot like a certain popular brand of ear buds. The main aspect of these digital Hearables that he loves is the amplification PLUS Bluetooth streaming.
He can keep them in all the time, even when making/answering phone calls or streaming from his phone and they will switch between the two modes automatically. He said that the Hearing Assist App is very helpful because of all of the customizable settings and the Hearing Check that will customize the settings to fit his hearing needs specifically.
The “Restaurant” program is his favorite when around a crowd, which is when he had the hardest time hearing.
My hearing loss has gotten much worse now that I’m getting older. I did not have thousands of dollars for hearing aids. These came in handy. Although having something in your ears takes a little getting used to, they made a huge difference in my ability to hear clearly.
They have to sit firmly in your ear. At home I can watch TV without having to turn it up loud, talk to my husband without having to have him repeat everything, go shopping and actually hearing the clerk or cashier.
I will say I don’t like to wear them in a loud restaurant, but generally I don’t have to as it’s not only loud to me and everyone talks louder. Over all I’m very happy with the clarity and It is so nice to be able to hear everything.
They are easy to adjust and once I got used to them being in my ears, they are perfectly comfortable. The self charger is also nice. The app is great too. I would definitely recommend!.

The Digital HD Power Elite runs off of a #13 battery and is available in beige or gray. Each Digital HD Power Elite comes with a Walker’s Field Carrying Pouch.
Love this, easy to set up and use, definitely amplifying! My only gripe is they don’t come in pairs. You only get one, and an ear plug. I think only having one kind of defeats the purpose, depending on which ear its in, I’ve noticed you have to direct your head towards the plugged side to get the 100% amplification.
But either way this is an amazing product! And will definitely be a game changer in the woods for those quick shots when you don’t have time to put your plugs in!.
This device works great. I’ve lost a little hearing especially in higher pitches. it’s probably due to years of working around machinery for years. Anyway, once adjusted to my liking and finding the right ear bud to fit, I wear it all day long with no problems whatsoever.
I can hear the Television much better, and the sounds of the birds in the morning are spectacular.

I have used the Walker’s Game Ear Ultimate Power Muffs while handgun hunting and at the range for three years. I am primarily a bowhunter but wanted hearing protection when hunting with my. 44 revolver.
First – at the range, they work great. They are my go-to muffs. I normally shoot solo, so I use the microphone feature infrequently. Hunting – my use is exclusively tree-stand or ground blind hunting for whitetails and I have shot 4 deer in three years using these muffs.
Hearing protection is great. These are not bulkier than most other muffs but carrying muffs into the woods means yet another thing to carry. Battery life: I am really impressed with this. I find I get many hours before needing a change of battery.
I have not really tracked it but I would say at least 20 hours on stand. probably more. Comfort: I find they fit reasonably comfortably when I am using a hat and/or face mask. I have a big head and big ears.
After a few hours, they certainly become somewhat uncomfortable but I think most muffs do. I find the adjustment suitable – easy and fairly quiet. Once they are on, I leave them on. Sound qualilty: They take a little getting used to.
Clarity is certainly different from (and not as good as) wearing no muffs. However, I am willing to sacrifice some sound quality for hearing protection. I am able to hear the sounds I want to hear – birds, squirrels, deer walking in leaves, a twig breaking, deer vocalizations, etc.
Initially, I found it very difficult to identify the location of sounds. However, the more I wore them, the more I was able to quickly locate the sound. At times, I am unable to discern the direction of some sounds – such as a single gunshot.
But that is also true for me without hearing protection. I have seen other reviewers comment about static or white noise. I have found that my cell phone, if in close proximity, does cause annoying electromagnetic interference with the earphones.
Turning on Airplane Mode or moving the phone away from me solves this problem. Bottom line: If you anticipate these will enhance your normal hearing, I think you will be disappointed. If you are looking for something to protect your hearing and give you the ability to hear pretty well while hunting, I think these are a great option.

Hear TV & Conversations The Hearing Assist TV-01 is the first wireless TV transmitter to combine clear digital transmission sound quality with amplifying capabilities. It’s not just a TV Listener, it is also great for social gatherings, restaurants, conferences, church, etc, with or without the wireless microphone.
The product comes paired already from the factory with the wireless microphone. Kit contains headset, wireless microphone, usb charging cable and plug, comfort carrying case, and double-sided tape so you can affix the microphone near you television speaker.
With this streamer you can listen to the television comfortably at a sound convenient for your personal needs. Multiple headsets can pair with one microphone. Microphone also contains auxiliary jack to connect tv or any other sound input (from smart device, etc.
Pros: Zero audio latency (at least none that I can detect). Pairing the headset with the base unit is very easy. Base unit is very mobile and includes multiple options for attaching it to things (clip, sticker, etc.
) so this product can be used in a variety of ways, not just for watching TV. Very few buttons to fiddle around with, so the user experience is dead simple. Lightweight, comfortable headset with multiple earbud options included.
Fantastic case for the headset and all of its cords + accessories. Cons: Audio quality is pretty “tinny”. Battery life is a bit on the short side. Audio isolation is sometimes a bit inconsistent, with some background noises being muted wonderfully while others are amplified quite a bit – for the most part this works well but the rare exceptions can prove a bit startling.
I wanted this for my husband who has a hard time hearing out of his right ear. He’s not deaf, just hard of hearing in that ear so his left ear is constantly picking up surrounding noises and not what he is “focused” on hearing.
So I wanted to get this for him so when we are watching tv, he can hear everything and not miss some of the content, or ask what did they say. The microphone sits next to your TV and the “headset” is light and lasts a long time between charges.
And it charges fast. I charge it overnight so it’s ready for the next day. I have also used this when I’m on my treadmill as my tv is across the room. So now I can hear the tv much better. So this is good for everyone.
This will also be good from when we are finally able to go out in crowds or restaurants, my husband will be able to listen to conversations and not be picking up on background noises.
This Hearing Assist TV Listener / Hearing Amplifier (TV01) is so very easy to set up and it really helps to hear better. I love that it helps with hearing the television without turning the volume up to an uncomfortable level to other people in the room.
When my father comes over he wants to turn up the television volume so much that everyone has to scream to communicate with each other. This Hearing Assist makes it a much more pleasant experience. I have also used this while on my stationary bike because sometimes it’s hard to hear the tv or music over the exercise equipment.
This helps to hear what I want while I exercise. I recommend this and am planning to purchase more of these as gifts for my parents & in-laws.
