I obviously had to put a towel down on my pillow though so that it didn’t get all messy and gross. I only took away a star because I already had a few oils that seem to work just as well. I wish I had worked through those before adding even more products to my collection.

If you don’t have any emollients though, this is a perfect choice!.

I have the tube version of this with 3 types of ceramides and hyaluronic acid. I bought it actually looking for regular cerave lotion and wasn’t really happy when I first used it and realized I was essentially applying petroleum jellly/Vaseline on my face.

So be warned. it’ll leave ya shiny and greasy. That said, Now I LOVE this product after using it a while. It’s great for around my eyes, lips and face. I do chemical peels and this is perfect for healing and rehydrating my skin in between, so I never feel I’m risking my skin barrier.

I have a year old injury that’s red and indented and while I’m not sure it’ll help that problem (only been using it for a couple weeks) I am more than happy I accidentally bought this ointment and will keep buying.

I leave my skin slightly damp and apply it to trap in the moisture with the hyaluronic acid and petroleum to make it most effective for me. No breakouts, fragrance or irritation.

Better than Aquaphor or plain petroleum jelly! Why? Because after a couple of minutes, it absorbs into the skin and doesn’t leave a sticky film on top. Also, it has no lanolin, so it is safer for those with sensitive skin, like mine.

Love the fact that it has panthenol, hyaluronic acid, and of course, ceramides. But the best thing about it is its formulation. It’s a thick ointment right out of the tube, but when you start spreading it around your face, it just melts and doesn’t tug on the skin at all.

I use this mainly for slugging on my Off Days (Non-Tretinoin Days) and it makes my skin so soft and smooth upon waking up in the morning! I buy the one in the tube so it’s more sanitary. Only a pea-sized amount is needed.

Apply after your moisturizer at night. I also use it on my heels and elbows.

I’ve reviewed this product before but this time my review is based on using Aquaphor on my nails and cuticles ONLY. (I still use it everywhere, but that’s just what this review is for) For the past 3 or 4 days, I’ve been using Aquaphor as a nail and cuticle treatment, and I can’t believe my results! I apply it and rub it into the entire nail area a few times a day, just whenever I happen to think about it, and my nails and cuticles are already so much healthier and they look so much better! I’ve included a couple of pictures of my nails to show my results.

You can see how shiny my nails are, and I don’t have a drop of polish on. This stuff really moisturizes and gets rid of dry skin and hang nails, and it’s made my nails harder and stronger too. If you’ve never used Aquaphor for this, I HIGHLY recommend you give it a try.

Like I said, this is only after a couple of days. I’m blown away!! I usually use CND Solar Oil religiously, and while I still love it too, this works even better. I’ve actually even applied the CND Solar Oil and let it soak in, then follow with the Aquaphor right before going to bed, and that’s fantastic too! I can’t speak highly enough of Aquaphor!! I’ll never run out of it!!.

My husband and I love this ointment. With all that has happened since 2020, we both wash our hands a lot. At our ages, over 70, our kin is gets very dry and sensitive and sometimes cracks. This ointment used every night prevents dryness and cracking and keeps our skin soft and healthy.

I really like that that this ointment does not have petroleum and I purchased it to replace our family’s jar of Aquaphor. However the babo Sensitive Skin Healing Ointment is NOT fragrance free. It actually has kind of a “Bengay” smell.

I’m guessing it’s the eucalyptus, tea tree and peppermint. anyhow, my kids noticed the difference right away by the smell (they have eczema). I also feel that it’s very overpriced, $18. 95 for 4oz versus $13.

95 for 14oz of Aquaphor. I can see double the price, but 4 times the cost? A bit much, I’ll be looking for an alternative. If you don’t mind the price or the smell, it’s a great option.

I really like this healing ointment. I use it for my daughter who has eczema and this is actually the 2nd bottle I’ve purchased so that confirms my satisfaction with this product. I never know what smell she might not like so I’m careful with what fragrance I choose.

The fact that this product is fragrance free is a plus for me. There is a light mint smell from the peppermint which I love. My daughter likes this ointment as well.

Cetaphil is a brand I don’t particularly use, but I got a mini sample of their healing ointment and I love it. I’m big into making sure my skin is hydrated both day and night, however night is especially important since you lose about 40% of skin moisture while you sleep.

I’m a fan of K Beauty and the techniques they use to get “Glass Skin” One of them being something calling Slugging, slugging is basically apply Vaseline aka Petroleum jelly over your night cream to create a barrier and lock in moisture.

As soon as I saw this products main ingredient was Petroleum plus had the bonus of also having Shea butter Vitamin E in the ingredient list i immediately tried it out as a Slugging product and it works wonders! It has no fragrance and has the same texture as Vaseline as well.

You only need very little to apply over your night cream and the next day your skin is dewy and hydrated. It also treats very dry, chapped, irritated skin as well as Eczema. Love this product.

This creamy ointment feels so much better than vaseline! It has been great for my feet and lips at night. I also like to slug my face with a thin layer of this before I go to sleep to make sure that my skin remains moisturized all night long.

It is a bit greasy so in the morning I wipe it off with a towel or tissue. After a few weeks of doing this my middle aged face looks younger and has a glow during the day. In case you are wondering what slugging is, slugging is the final step in your nighttime skin-care routine where you apply a petroleum-based occlusive over your skin to seal in the products while you sleep.

This ointment also has vitamin e and shea butter in it. Please Cetaphil do not discontinue this, or reformulate. Thank you!.

first of all, I was shocked to receive such a large quantity. super amazing. especially considering that a little really does go a LONG way. secondly, its unscented, which isn’t REAL important to me but I know it is for others.

I have chronic dry areas using this consistently for a couple days gave those spots life again, for a good chunk of time anyways. which was nice. the crease of my nose my ankles get so dry that they peel, flake, are itchy if I scratch flake the dead skin off its turns into a very uncomfortable raw patch.

the only downside of this product is that it’s a really heavy consistency. its kind of like Vaseline or petroleum jelly. though it did say to apply it liberally. also it does make my skin look VERY oily sweaty if I put it everywhere it kind of melts everywhere if I dont wash it off after an hour or 2.

overall great product. it really does help heal dry skin. I DEFINITELY would recommend this to someone who has tried many things that never seem to work or need a “quick fix” for dry skin.

I love this ointment! It doesn’t feel like an ointment, at all. It’s not greasy or heavy. It is a great natural alternative to antibiotic creams. I have used it on eczema, boils, cuts, mosquito bites.

It is so gentle and effective that you can use it on most skin issues.

It works every time! One has to be patient for the healing to take place. My skin heals nicely with little or no scarring. When I first saw the item on Well,ca years ago, I called the company (located in Vancouver) that makes the ointment and was pleasantly surprised to be speaking to a person who is very knowledgeable about the ingredients.

I always keep a tube in my house.

I have eczema as does my daughter and I can’t believe how well this stuff works. Mind you, everyone is different as it doesn’t work for my son who has a small patch near his leg and this makes it worse.

For my daughter and I, it’s clears up everything. I am really amazed. I wish they made a larger portion.
