20 Best Headset For Zoom Teaching (2023 Updated)

I’ve been using the Zone Vibe 125 headphones for work meetings and calls for the past week and they are quickly becoming one of my favorite all around headphones. In the box are the headphones, USB – A to C charging cable, a USB-A to -C adaptor, carry bag and user manual.

Setup is plug and play, for my Windows laptop I plugged in the dongle and the laptop immediately set up the headphones, for my phone, I turned on bluetooth, slid the power button over to the bluetooth symbol and the headphones showed up for pairing on my Android phone.

This headset will automatically connect to both my phone as well as my laptop simultaneously, so I don’t have to manually intervene to take phone calls or online meetings back to back. The functionality is as expected, on the headset are physical buttons: left side top to bottom is a call answer / end button, next is volume up / down toggle, then the power button slider, slide to middle for power and all the way down for bluetooth pairing.

Below that is the USB-C charging port, and power led indicator. On the right ear is a play/pause/skip button. The mic is flush with the left ear piece when stowed, and easy to pull into place for use, but does not swivel 180 degrees, so only works for a left side mic.

When the mic is up, the headphones automatically mute, with an audible voice indication when muting. The physical build is very nice, and the reason for being one of my favorite headphones. From day one these headphones have been fantastically comfortable, with light weight fabric over the band and soft foam ear cups.

For reference, about 90% of the over the ear headsets I try in this price range are uncomfortable, either due to pressure from the band at the top of my head or pressure from the ear cups. These headphones do not have either issue, they are highly adjustable to fit my head, and are very comfortable to allow for all day wear.

For audio quality when taking and receiving calls / meetings, this headphone does a great job. The noise cancelling blocks background noise, as I routinely sit outside during meetings and no one has noticed the ambient dog, lawnmower, wind, etc noises.

When I answer a call or meeting, I can hear a slight static background noise, while it doesn’t detract from the use, its noticeable and part of the reason for 4 stars versus 5. There is supposed to be a companion app, Logi Tune, to adjust EQ settings and update firmware, however I could not get it to pair correctly.

This may be a software issue with my Google Pixel Pro 6 phone compatibility. I don’t find that the lack of app support detracts from the overall experience though. As far as music, these are middle of the road.

The sound quality is solid, with better than expected depth, tone, and range to the music. Overall, these are a great office, multi-use headphone. I highly recommend them for anyone that needs to wear a headphone all day, or someone that routinely has to swap between computer and phone.

They aren’t going to wow you with music hall quality sound, but they are going to wow you for a lightweight headphone that can do a bit of everything, have a full day battery and then some, as well as the all day comfort, almost to where you will forget you have them on.

These headphones are a perfect upgrade if you’re looking to elevate your conference call experience from built-in mic/speakers, earbuds, or perhaps an existing wired headset. Pros: Very light, light clamping force, comfortable for all-day use, battery life, USB-C charging.

Cons: So-So sound quality for music, construction quality seems a bit dubious. After using these phones for a while, I’ve come to like them for what they are – a great tool to elevate the online meeting experience.

The sound quality for conference calls is excellent – but when it comes to listening to music, I will grab another set of over-the-ear headphones. Music sounds OK to have ambient noise in your ears, but the sound quality is lacking.

The construction of these headphones is plastic, and they do have a bit of give so you can move one of the phones either in front of or behind your ear to have an outside conversation and the headband will flex enough to still be comfortable.

These are comfortable for long sessions without fatiguing your ears or your head – the padded earcups are quite nice. I do find that they do shift on my head when I move my head around, but as these are not noise canceling that require a good seal over your ear, this isn’t a deal breaker.

Overall though, these are something I’m hanging on my desk and would not feel comfortable frequently traveling with as I’m not sure the build quality will hold up without leaving you with broken headphones.

The boom mic with auto-mute function is pretty cool – when you’re ready to speak, the mic flips down from the left earcup and unmutes the audio. When you’re done, you can flip it back up, and it becomes almost invisible in the headphone so you can listen to audio without the mic in front of you, also assuring you that you are in fact muted.

I paired these with my Mac Studio – I did not need to use the included Bluetooth adaptor. The Bluetooth connection has been flawless – no interruptions in sound and no interruptions with any of my other peripherals.

Overall, if you’re looking for a good set of over-the-ear headphones to slay online meetings all day, I’d give this set serious consideration.

The size of the headset was much smaller than I anticipated but I figured I am using it in my zoom meeting , so it’s okay. The sound is great, I can hear clearly but my coworker complained that they are unable to hear me well.

They complained about the static background noise when I speak. I set up on another computer to test it out and the microphone would not register at all. Not sure if I received a defective product , but I am going to have to return it and buy another headset.

My new H570e headset is exactly as advertised. The sound quality and microphone are perfect for my need to manage my severe Low Vision and macular degeneration. I use Zoom for communication and JAWS for screen reading.

And I also use the microphone for speech-to-text; it transmits correctly my speech. The H570e handles these Low Vision requirements very well. The product quality is very good. B&H service was outstanding and the price is right.

Use a headset when you’re on Zoom/Skype/Teams/etc! Ever notice how some people sound loud and clear and others not so clear? It’s not the connection – it’s the difference between a mic close to your mouth and one that is not focused on you! I prefer a wired headset over Bluetooth.

Forgetting to charge up a headset can be a very disruptive pain. The cable is long enough to allow me to move around reasonably by my desk during a call. Mic and wire/mute/volume control are both on the left side.

Some people prefer right side; I don’t – a wire that drapes on the right side can interfere with my use of the mouse. I have a right sided Logitech headset at work – it annoys me. Mute button is recessed so I don’t accidentally mute myself – however – I have accidentally turned the volume all the way down.

Oh well. Comfort is good. Unlike a gaming headset – which I tried – I don’t feel like my head is being crushed and I can hear what is happening in the world around me when I’m on call after call.

Its a perfectly good set of headphones for the price. and they have come down in price a bit since I bought them in 2015. Not the greatest headphones ever made, but certainly not the worst either. On the plus side, the sound quality is fine, they are relatively lightweight and comfy to wear.

The downsides The humungously oversized volumemute control, which hangs down not quite far enough so it always seems to tug on one ear. A clip on the reverse might have been a useful feature. You may also find your ears get a bit sweaty after a couple of hours encased in those airtight headphone cups.

Another gripe was the volume control buttons. They never seems to get loud enough. Instead of going all the way up to 11, they only seem to manage a 7. Ticking the volume boost tickbox in Windows sound settings fixes that issue however.

While Im happy I got good use out of this headset for what I paid, I havent rushed out to buy another. I have instead recently bought the Mpow USB Headset to replace these ones, at a similar price. While its always sad to say goodbye to a headset that has lasted me so long, I must say Im very happy with my new Mpow headset.

I would even go as far as to say the Mpow headset is superior to this one, even if the volumemute control is even bigger on that headset than it is on this one.

I carry them in my laptop bag & they seem pretty sturdy, compared to others I’ve had that have fallen apart – the ears or mic pop off. so we’ll see. Wish it came with a way to plug into my Samsung Note 8 phone – are converters available?.

I’ve been working from home the last 5 years, and getting a decent headset for conference calls has been a problem. Newer laptops seem to not like using the microphone on TRRS headphone jacks, and the in-line or in-earphone microphones haven’t given me goof piockup.

These have decent sound, and the boom mic means I can be heard clearly. Audio has a decent range, not tinny sounding. Major shortcoming is the mute button on the cord doesn’t seem to work (at least with BlueJeans and Google Meet).

I do wonder if that’s due to using a Microsoft-branded product under Linux (can’t be having Linux giving a better performance than MSWindows).

My work headset’s microphone quit out on me so I grabbed one of these locally. It feels cheap but it’s light weight, which is especially important as I wear this 8 hours a day. Problem is, it gets painful after an hour of use so I have to place the earpads on the side of my head in front of my ears so it doesn’t hurt as much.

Sound quality and mic quality are fine for call center work, it’s terrible for music but this headset wasn’t made for that so I can’t dock points. The mute button is perfectly placed, which is great because I can press it, look at the red light on the cable, then yell about my terrible customers without them hearing me.

It’s my favorite feature by far. If you’re looking for a comfortable headset, grab a gaming headset. If you don’t need to keep up appearances then who cares how you look? I don’t recommend this to anyone who doesn’t need to keep up appearances, but it’s cheap enough to where I lost less money buying this and losing 2 hours of my shift rather than having to wait a few days for a new, more comfortable company issued headset.

Definitely expensive. My job does provide these to us (thankfully) ! I had mine around 2 1/2 years and had no issues. Super good at cancelling out background noise, boom mic, mute and being able to be wireless and free.

Especially being full time work from home. I did recently have to replace these due to mic shorting out and not working anymore but I could head through headset. So if you use the mic to mute/unmute a lot be gentle and mindful that a wire runs to the ear piece inside and could be detached.

A little heavy (never hurt my head or ears) but my hair constantly was pulled out from being stuck in it. All in all…worth it. Especially if you company offers this!.

Purchased this as a replacement for a lesser-known wired headset brand. The Jabra Evolve 65 covers both ears, has a boom mic and adjustable head band. The dual ear muff is comfortable paired with adjustable head band is comfortable to wear for long periods at a time (music and/or meetings).

They don’t cancel noise out completely but provide a protective barrier to be able to hear all your calls clearly. I also purchased this because it has a boom mic — as opposed to a built-in mic that can capture surrounding sound as well.

The mic is clear and can be moved up and tucked into the top of the headset when not in use. There is a Do Not Disturb type of red light (that can either be set to turn on/off automatically and can also be controlled manually) to let people around you know you are on a call or busy.

Like all Bluetooth wireless headsets, there is a chance for delays in transmitting and receiving sound. Something to get used to but easy to learn to manage it after several tries. Recommendation: Great mid-level wireless headset when you need something functional, stylish and comfortable.

Purchase one and add some extra excitement to those all-day video meetings.

Only been using this headset for a couple of weeks but so far I’m very impressed with them. I need to use a Bluetooth headset as part of my job every day, so safe to say I have quite a bit of experience with them.

I’ve spent the last year or so trying to find the right headset, and in that time I’ve come up with the following list of requirements: -Need to work with both PC and mobile- and be easy to switch from one to the other -Sound should be clear in both directions, especially when there’s background noise as I often use a headset while driving -Battery life that actually lasts through the day without cutting out on you -Needs to fit my (admittedly oversized) head -Comfortable to wear for long periods of time- I might spend in excess of eight hours straight using a headset, so it’s important that it doesn’t get annoying! I’ve tried so many different headsets and it has been unbelievably difficult to find one that meets all of these requirements.

They might meet two or three of them, but I find that even this isn’t enough. The ones with clear sound were irritating to wear all day, while the most comfortable ones had rubbish microphones. Admittedly a lot of these headsets were pretty cheap, so I decided to spend a bit more money under the maxim that you get what you pay for.

After a bit of research I came across the Jabra Evolve 65 and given the good reviews I read, I decided to give them a go. At last- a headset that actually meets all my needs! The sound quality is fantastic in both directions, they’re easy to connect and switch between devices, and crucially they sit well on the head and the battery life lasts for a healthy amount of time.

The only downside is that the boom arm is a little short for my preference, as it means the mic is quite close to my mouth and so people on the other end can sometimes hear me breathing during a call.

It can be clipped onto the headband when not in use, but you need to retract the boom for this. This isn’t a big issue though, certainly not when compared to how good the Evolve 65 is in all other respects.

I would thoroughly recommend this headset for anyone who needs to take calls handsfree. I only wish I’d come across it sooner!.

I was so glad to find this refurbished headset at a very reasonable price. I took a chance that it would work properly, as I really liked the one I had for years, but had broken it accidentally, and a new one was very expensive.

I’ve tried other brands, but none of them fit well on my ears, so this was great. I can’t tell at all what was wrong with it, as whoever refurbished it did an excellent job–thank you!.

The wire protection is nice and thick. Cheaper headsets used to get emi interference in my room and this has the protection needed to block it out. Previous headsets have been so bad I had to wrap a soft faraday shield around cords before they were usable.

The mute has a red indicator light which is useful in call center work. I prefer my controls on the side of the headset for mute and this headset does that. There are also three settings, calls, games, and music with can be changed on the fly.

I have found an audible difference in the sounds per setting so you can definitely see which setting works best for your app. Great flexibility!.

Even tho the ear cups are comfortable they don’t provide much noise cancelling. This isn’t really a con but it should be noted. My biggest disappointment with this product is the quality of the USB plastic housing.

I shouldn’t have to use tape to keep this product together. I wouldn’t have purchased this product for myself. However it’s price is right for the quality of the product. I would recommend this product for those who like to Skype and not for those who like to listen to music.

It’s an excellent product for those that want an entry level chat device that provides great call quality.

I want to preface this with saying that THIS IS NOT TARGET’S FAULT! I work from home, having a headset is essential! This is the 2nd headset of Logitech that I have had to buy in the last 6 months. The 1st worked perfectly fine up until the day (03/31) that the left speaker decided to randomly go out.

The 2nd headset I had to buy the same day so that I could work. I took it out, plugged it in, both speakers work but NO ONE, and this bares repeating, NO ONE that called in FOR MY JOB could hear me. I switched back to the 1st headset with the one speaker just to be able to do my job.

Funny thing is, the side that the speaker doesn’t work is the same side that the mic is on, which works perfectly fine.

This headset worked perfectly for about a week. Right out of the package plug n play sinc with my phone. After about a week, plugged it in to charge then after about 2 hours charging, unplugged it and ready to use it would not sinc back to my phone.

I tried toubleshoot as the manual had said and nothing. So I had to return it. what i liked about it was that i could answer incoming calls from the micro phone. I didn’t like the workmanship of the headset.

i didnt like the wire or metal work of piece over the head. i think it could use some padding.

It’s a waste of money. After reading the reviews I was willing to try it, but I shouldn’t shave done that, it’s garbage. You have to yell for people to hear you, the sound keep coming in and out. Mute and noise canceling work fine I guess.

But people can’t hear you I don’t know what’s the point. I just stopped using it even tho I have bought protection for replacement and repairs I’m just saving myself an headache but still, I’m leaving this si future buyers be aware , avoid and save your money it’s garbage!.

Very reasonable price for what you get. A trusted brand and the quality that you would expect. These are definitely not audiophile headphones nor is the mic going to be adequate for recording music but it is just a good all round headset for everyday use.

Worked perfectly first try on my Manjaro Linux PC, I simply just plugged it into my front USB port and I was away. This is perfect if your PC doesn’t have a combined mic/headphone jack which usually means the mic input is going to be extremely static (mine was).

Using USB as the interface means the audio is delivered digitally with way less static!.

Thanks again Elijah Gilbert for the recommendation. It is exactly as I wanted it to do. I work from home and have a lot of video conferencing and this headphone may be lightweight and not as expensive as other headphones that costs us more than $200, it catches real time conversations etc.

As for it being lightweight, no one uses it but me for my video conferencing and store safely too. Thanks PB Tech for making sure that your telephone lines are answered so that people who can’t walk into the store like me ( due to medical reasons) can have access to your wares like everyone else.

The directions were poor, like nonexistent. There was just a little drawing showing that the usb should plug into the computer. Says plug and play. When I first plugged it in I expected it to work and that I would hear the sound from my computer thru the new headset.

Wrong. After about 15 minutes of trying everything I could think of to get the sound, I finally Googled it and the Logitech website gave me everything I needed to know. In all, it took me over a half hour to get the right information to make it work.

The headset itself actually works great! But what a pain and a wasted half hour of frustration when it would have been so simple to include the directions. And they are simply: go to your computer’s “system preferences” and click on “sound.

” Then click on “Logitech. ” It cudn’t be simpler BUT WHO KNEW?.

In todays virtual workspace it is important to have good audio that not only gives you the privacy that you need but that allows you to be heard clearly and with out the background noice. Week at least this does a good job of muffling those ambient noises.

The Logi Zone 750 is a wired headset that allows you to listen to your computer audio and the retractable mic lets you take calls or speak in the online meeting while reducing the background noice. It uses the not standard USB type C connection, so you should be able to use this on your computer or smart device.

I used it on my MacBook, iPad, and Windows Computer. If you’re not updated to that standard and still only have USB Type A, no worries. Logi was nice enough to include a USB–C to USB–A adapter at no extra cost.

The headset is pretty light and comfortable. I didn’t get that hot ears I get from other headsets. It’s and on ear design so your not going to get active noise canceling but the audio is good enough that you will be able to hear over the ambient noises and dog barks.

The mic allows you to mute by raising it up and when you have it down your audio is enhanced to cancel out those ambient noises and dog barks. It’s not going to make it go away but it will dramatically reduce them.

Or at least enough that they aren’t going to take over your online meeting. There is also an in-line control on the wire you plug in to your device. That allows you to take a call from the control, control the volume and even mute the microphone.

Logitech did a good job including audio cues so you hear when the mic is muted and unmuted. You can even play and pause music or whatever other non-distracting sub service you are using in between calls and meetings.

I would recommend that you use the Logi Tune app, since it gives you more controls over your audio levels. You can increase the in-line monitoring and get the right levels for your voice so your not clipping or sounding distorted on the other end.

If you have a Logi web cam that is supported, you can even control the settings for that camera through the app too. That makes for the best visual and audio experience for those on the other side of your online meeting.

Unfortunately the app does not support the wired version of this headset on the mobile platform. At least not on iOS or iPad OS. I don’t have any android devices to test that out on so, if that’s you good luck and let us know if it works on those products.

I am a nerd for carrying cases or pouches. Logi includes an soft microfiber-esque pouch to carry and protect your headset while its in your bag. I really like that they included that. Like really, really, liked that.

But again, I am a pouch and carrying case nerd. As they say, IYKYK. If you’re looking for a headset that will get you through online meetings or virtual classrooms that won’t break the bank and doesn’t feel cheap, all wile providing you with the privacy and reducing the embarrassing noises around you, then This is your headset.

I would recommend it. Why wires? Well as advanced as technology goes, we still aren’t at the point where Bluetooth is reliable enough to cancel out the ambient noises without a lag, it can barely stay connected.

Nothing is worse than fumbling with your Bluetooth settings when you are trying to join in on those important meeting. Wires give you the reliability that you need and the bonus is that you never have to charge them up before you need to use them.

I bought this headset to use for video calls on my laptop. The laptop microphone is bad, my colleagues always said they couldn’t hear me clearly. Using my new Logitech headset, my audio is clear, no more bad audio.

I really like the boom microphone, I can move it out of the way when I’m listening only. The headset is very comfortable to wear and the wire is long enough for me to use while standing. This was an excellent purchase I use everyday.

I like it so much I bought a second headset to use at home.

Shoppers should know that this headset has limitations due to its fat plug size. Shoppers should know that the ad does not contain any detailed information on the plug size — such as what jacks and devices it does and does not fit.

They should also know that the vendor — AmzBuys — offers to take it back but does not reimburse postage — even though the reason for the return is the failure of their ad to adequately describe what the headset plug fits.

Although it fits many devices, it is too fat for the jack in my standard Panasonic satellite phone — which some other head sets definitely fit.

I needed a wired headset for my laptop because I was getting complaints every time I called someone using a bluetooth headset or even airpods. This headset seems to provide good sound quality for me and the person I’m calling.

My only complaint is that it isn’t very comfortable for long time use. There is very little padding and it starts to hurt my ears pretty quickly. That’s the one thing I would change about it. But for the price, it’s an excellent value.

no swivel or tilt Multimedia audio is mediocre at best We are testing Microsoft Teams Phones, and my bluetooth headset wasn’t cutting it. I’ve used plantronics headsets for phones for years, and I understand that a quality, durable headset can feel cheap and flimsy at first.

This Microsoft Modern USB Headset feels like that. I think it’s a quality product meant to be as light as possible for maximum comfort. Where comfort falls apart is the fact that the headband is the only truly adjustable part of this headset.

Sure the boom mic pivots, but it does not go in or out. The cups on the ears also do not pivot at all, so on my apparently oddly shaped head, I get more pressure at the back of the cups than the front, and the headset feels like it’s trying to squeeze off the front of my head.

This is enough of an issue, that I’m returning the headset. The included cord is a decent length, and seems like a nice cable. it straightened out nicely overnight, and is of medium softness/flexibility.

The earcups are hard and hollow, so on a beard they do “”amplify”” movement/scratch sounds. The controller seems mixed at best. On windows 10, the teams specific buttons did not seem to work well at all, even with the Microsoft accessory app installed.

On Windows 11, the teams and call buttons worked great. The speakers are tuned for the human voice, and sound great with dialog, but fall flat with music and multimedia. Even equalization apps don’t seem to alter the sound of the headset, I’m assuming due to the USB nature of the headset and how the sound interface is defined in the system.

So the sound is largely non-adjustable. If your head is normal, and you care first and foremost about call quality, this is a great headset. If you’re looking for an “”all-rounder”” for people with all shapes and sizes, I’d go for a more adjustable headset.

I’m going to try out the Poly Blackwire 5220 next which should check all the boxes save for a Teams-optimized controller.

Okay, I’m trying out the wired headsets for our office, and they’re amazing. At this price point, Microsoft will have a hit with offices. Microsoft fit themselves between Plantronics’ low-end blackwire 3000 series which is around $40 and their next models (the 5000 series) which is around $80.

It destroys the 3000 series on all levels from build quality to audio quality to comfort. I will argue it’s more comfortable than the more expensive 5000 series and audio quality is debatable and when it’s debatable, you go with the cheaper one.

I got really good comments from fellow office workers who tried out their new headsets too. First comments were how soft and comfortable the headsets were. A couple of them were regular users of the Plantronics Focus UC wireless headsets.

I always thought the Focus headsets were comfortable but my office workers said these Microsoft ones beat it. They said the audio quality was better on both sides (caller, receiver) with the Microsoft though it’s a bit unfair to compare because the Microsoft ones are wired and the others are meant to travel around the office up to 100 ft.

We use softphones for the majority of our staff (IP desk phones are maybe 30% while softphones are 70%). I can imagine replacing the Plantronics headsets with these Microsoft ones if they hold up to the abuse (office workers are far more abusive to equipment than consumers because consumers usually pay for their own equipment).

Another advantage for Plantronics is because of its ubiquity, you can easily find replacement parts like ear padding covers. Unless these Microsoft ones become a smash hit, you have to hop the padding lasts an extremely long time.

We haven’t tried the Teams integration yet as our primary phone system is RingCentral. We use Teams for video calls and messaging mainly with the occasional audio calls. These are definitely worthy of a purchase.

I can’t believe the value you get. For this price range, you don’t expect the material to feel so supple and full of quality. I haven’t tried the wireless yet. I can’t imagine replacing the Focus UC yet because 1) RingCentral softphones only allow Plantronics headsets to answer calls from the headset (all other headsets require that you answer on the computer on or on the wired controller) and 2) the Focus UC has a 100 ft range.

For someone who is on Teams most of the day managing a large department this headset is great because it intergrates perfectly with Teams as you would expect. Performance is the exact same on my Mac as it is on my Surface Book and nothing needs to be installed.

Voice clarity is good and everyone said I sounded a lot better with this headset vs. the cheap on I bought on Home Essentials Direct earlier in the year. Toss in it connects via USB-C and you got a real winner.

Only negative for some people would be if you like to listen to music and like not having to switch headsets. It plays music pretty poorly as it’s geared for voice. Not a problem for me as I switch to my Sony WX1000M4 for listening to music but for some people this might be a deal breaker.

On the whole, I am very happy with my Logitech headset. Sound quality is OK for the office (not for serious music listening obviously), and the microphone works well too. There is no obvious way to control the microphone level though, and no obvious Left vs.

Right designation. However, there is this weird (and seemingly pointless) 4-button podule (volume up/down, mute, and call) in mid-cable, that is in exactly the wrong place! The folks at Logitech would do well to either move this thing 18 inches higher up the cable, or just remove it altogether (since I can control the volume etc.

from my computer). Otherwise, this annoying little box type thing sits at waist height, and something as simple as leaning forward can accidentally mute you in the middle of a conference call (and you have no idea it happened).

I guess the people in Camas don’t eat their own dog-food, as it were, so to speak, otherwise they would have recognized this design flaw when attending their own conference calls. So, on the whole I recommend the Logitech headset, but watch out for the controls on the cable.

I’ve been using this for a few months now in an open plan office and I’ve been told that next to no background noise from the microphone has been getting through from the people that I’ve been having calls with and the audio quality has been rated well by them.

Because it’s not a whole ear headset they’re quite comfortable to wear all day, but if you need noise cancelling for your audio you might want to look at a different headset, otherwise this is an excellent headset for an open plan office setting!.

I teach ESL online but wearing headphones for extended periods hurts my ears, and eventually, my head. So I shelled out more money for fancier headphones to hopefully solve that problem. And I wouldn’t say it’s gone, but it’s significantly better and tolerable with these, so that’s nice.

But the noise canceling microphone part of it is a joke. And I need that more than the comfortable headphones part. Because not canceling out the noise of my neighbors dog barking, could cost me my job.

And my $20 headset from Home Essentials Direct does that. For such an expensive headset, finding out the dog barking was heard on the video by a student was extremely disappointing.

I am a software developer of 25 years, and I have worked with computers far longer than most people. I have to say I really like this headset; I use it a lot for office meetings, video games, and just listening to music.

I’ve used plenty of headsets but these are really nice for the price. It’s light-weight, easy to wear, has a decent microphone and the sound is pretty good for the price – anything from video conferences to classical music works fine (for me, at least; if you’re an audiophile, get something else).

The USB cord is also fairly long which helps, and the little control pad on the cord works well with Microsoft Teams. I have tried other, more expensive noise-canceling headsets, but I found that they had a tendency to mess with my tinnitus – this one doesn’t seem to do that, and is good for several hours of usage without any problems.

The one complaint I have is that the frame is far too easy to snap. I’m on my third one now, they last typically 1-2 years. Do get the extended 3-year warranty if you plan on buying this headset, it might just pay off.

Other than that, I like it, and I’ll keep buying them.

I am on my 4th or 5th pair of these, over about 8 years. I have tried others in between and often come back to these because they are lightweight and the cushion on the ear pads are not so big they cover my entire ear lobe which causes me to sweat since I wear these 8-10 hours a day.

The sound quality is crystal clear, the volume button works great, the mute button works, and no one has ever complained about the sound quality on the other end. The only technical issue I have is that I can not initiate, pick up, or terminate a Teams call with the button as I did with Skype and Lync.

Now I must use my mouse for all of those tasks which leads to occasional missed calls and the uncomfortable silence after you say goodbye and the call continues until you can find your way to the button to hang up.

Still, not a deal breaker with the other great features. So why would Microsoft produce such a fine product and then use the cheapest plastic on the headset that is guaranteed to break with careful long-term use? I suppose because they got me to buy 4 or 5 of them.

But each one has lasted less than the last and I am done. I just came here to see if anyone had any other recommendations for people who liked this headset.

I bought this headset because I needed to make some phone calls using Google Voice and for some Microsoft Teams video conferences. In Windows 10 it was plug and play for both applications. The sound quality is excellent.

Things I don’t like is that the headset covers both ears so you can’t hear local sounds (perhaps an advantage in a busy office, but not so important when working from home) and the fact that the mic boom is hard plastic so it is makes a noise if you accidentally hit it with your coffee cup while trying to sneak a sip during a never-ending phone call.

I purchased two set’s for my 6 year olds, since they are doing home schooling. They complain that the headphone we’re uncountable, after a few hour’s they hurting them. I reach out to the company for options they told me that if the product was not damaged there was nothing they can do.

If they complain after a few hour’s that means there is a problem. I reach out to them a second time about a week ago and no respond.

Used for a couple of weeks, and it is very sturdy. No visible pieces that can break easily. Even the cable is a thicker gauge than normal. One 3. 5mm jack input allows audio signal to the microphone and headset.

The Califone’s Multimedia headphones are a fantastic product! I previously purchased 2 a year or so ago and was very pleased with their performance so I have recently purchased more. My animation class uses them to record voice overs in their animation projects.

I have also used them in my English language development class to record novels and provide oral narratives for students learning English. These students have also used them to record their oral reading so that they can hear themselves read and track their improved performance on readings.

I highly recommend this product and will continue to purchase more when I have available funds. I currently have only 6 and would love to have a class set of 30 as they are in high demand in my classes.
