20 Best Headphones For Samsung S20 (2023 Updated)

I researched for earbuds that don’t push inside the ear canal because I cannot stand that, it’s too uncomfortable for me, I’m used to wearing over the ear headphones; and I wanted something that looks pretty and don’t fall out easily so I can use them during workout.

These earbuds fit what I wanted. The color is very pretty (rose gold), although the bean shape might seem weird at first, but they look very good when put on, they don’t stick out too much which is good for when I laid my head on the pillow on the side.

As for the fit, the box comes with 2 sizes of wings (small and large), neither small or large wings fit my ears, the buds would always fall out on their own and my ears will hurt after wearing them after a while, and no matter how I adjust the angles I put on the earbuds, they won’t fit! I was about to return them because of the poor fit, but I found some medium size wings online; and when I put the earbuds with the medium size wings on, omg they finally stay on my ears without falling out and feel comfortable enough to wear for hours! With the medium wings I bought, these buds stayed on even when I work out and when I shake my head really fast.

Future note for Samsung, please include medium size wings for you earbuds, it makes no sense to only have small and large sizes. For battery life, I found that these buds would last about 4. 5 hours with continuous use with mid-high volume, but they charge pretty fast in the case.

When I put them back in the case for about 15 minutes, the buds would have over 50% battery. With the buds and case fully charged, they last approximately 17-18 hours (based on my usage), I usually charge the case every 3 or 4 days depending on how much I use them.

I like that the case can be wirelessly charged, it’s very convenient for me. Now let’s talk about the sound of these earbuds, I mainly listen to rock and metal music, and these buds can handle some subgenres of rock but not others.

For example, they can’t handle the complex sounds of shoegaze, no wave, heavy metal. etc. Anything that involves multiple instruments producing complicated layers of sounds, these buds can’t handle them very well.

Maybe I’m spoiled by my Marshall headphones that are designed to be more powerful and better for listening to rock and metal, I just can’t distinguish the different layers of sounds with these earbuds, the sounds are all meshed up together or too distorted.

However, these earbuds do have some powerful bass for their small size! I listened to some bass heavy songs, and these buds deliver them all very well. Overall, I don’t recommend these earbuds for people who’s going to use them mainly for listening to rock and metal music.

But to be fair, I probably shouldn’t be comparing these earbuds to headphones which are designed to be more powerful, these buds produce clear sounds for most other genres like ballad, jazz, blue. and watching videos or listening to podcasts.

And I only use these buds occasionally when I’m working out and laying on bed watching videos, so they’re good for my usage. Last thing I want to mention is the active noise cancellation (ANC), they’re definitely not the best ANC earbuds, they draw out most low frequency sounds but even with the volume set to highest and ANC on, I can pretty much hear everything surrounding me.

However, the design is open-ear, and I think Samsung does advertise the ANC to only be able to block out low frequency sounds so I wasn’t expecting much noise cancellation with these earbuds. In conclusion, I would recommend these earbuds to those like me who cannot stand to wear earbuds that push into ear canal, produce decent sounds with good bass, don’t mind the weak ANC, comfortable to wear for hours (with the right fit), and good quality.

I find myself preferring my Galaxy buds+, while the pro feels like I overpaid for a downgrade. To start off, the fit SUCKS. It falls off every few minutes unless you stand perfectly still, and then it’ll fall off within a half hour or so.

You’ll find yourself constantly trying to adjust it and shove it deeper into your ear, but the bulbus part of it is so large that it doesn’t quite stay fit. After awhile, they start to hurt on my ears, because the skin in my ears is feeling the pressure from trying to hold these slippery things in, whereas with the buds plus I never had any ear discomfort or issues whatsoever.

Then there’s the tapping- everytime I try to jam the pros back in it’ll do a tap or a double tap and completely mess up whatever I was listening to or watching. Somehow it’s super sensitive to touch, particularly when I’m trying to push it back in my ears, but when you actually need to touch it for pausing music or skipping videos, it lags in the touch and won’t always respond to light tapping.

I feel like I have to slam my finger several times so it can recognize the triple or double tap. With the buds plus, there was an edge in the buds where you could place your fingers and not worry about the touch controls going crazy.

Unfortunately, the buds pro’s touch button takes up the entire surface, so no matter how far on the edge my fingers are as I try to readjust them, the touch controls still respond and start pausing/playing my music.

As for sound quality, it’s pretty good, except you hardly enjoy it at full capacity because half the time these things are slipping off my ears and muffling the sound in the process. It also feels like I’m underwater half the time with the pressure these things place, it’s really uncomfortable.

I only bought these for the noise cancellation and to substitute my lost buds plus for something that would still have the same wearable app compatibility along with the familiar touch features. Sound quality and battery life are about the only neat things I can say of the buds pro.

But I miss my buds plus.

I’ve used several sets of Bluetooth earphones and headphones before, from the twenty dollar pharmacy specials to multi-hundred dollar top brand ones, and these are by far my favorites. I mostly use them to listen to media; voice (podcasts) as well as music.

They fit comfortably, they have excellent sound quality, the battery life is amazing, noise canceling works great and the wireless operating range is excellent. The earphones can only be charged in the case but the case has its own battery which will keep you going all day.

The case has a USB-C connector for charging from a wall charger; no charger is included but it does come with a short USB A to C cable. The case also charges wirelessly on any QI compatible wireless charger.

When the earphone batteries die, it takes just a few minutes in the case to get them charged up enough to put them back in your ears for hours. And you can use and charge each ear bud individually. Putting one ear bud in the case while you keep the other one in your ear won’t end your phone call (unless you accidentally touch the button of course) and neither will getting the second bud out of the case while wearing the other.

The earbuds can be paired with multiple devices at the same time (leave the case open, put both earbuds in your ears and hold the buttons for a few seconds until you hear a tone to go into pairing mode).

I have them paired with my phone, my work computer and my home computer. When you want to switch devices, you sometimes have to tell the currently connected device to disconnect, before you tell another device to connect.

You don’t have to use pairing to switch from one device to another. When using these earbuds for phone calls, the people on the other side have a much easier time to understand me than with any of my other earbuds.

Noise canceling is as good as you can expect. If you jam the earbuds all the way into your ears so no air gets past them, you’re completely cut off from your surroundings. But at least in my case, that also increases bone conductivity so I can hear every footstep or other motion in my ears, which is just too annoying.

So I usually pull them out just a tiny bit. I’m sure your mileage may vary: everyone’s ears are different. When you’re in a room with other people and you want to converse with them while wearing these, or when you’re in traffic, you can switch to “ambient sound” mode by pushing and holding the button on one of them (buttons are reprogrammable using an app).

In ambient sound mode, the earbuds play the sound from the microphones in your ears instead of using them to cancel noise. It makes it so it’s almost as if you’re not wearing them. I’m very happy with these earbuds, and I’m wearing them more often than I expected, and longer than I expected.

They’re not cheap, but definitely worth the money.

When talking in a quiet environment, the other party can hear me perfectly. Outside, however, they are a complete tragedy – my voice can barely be heard, as they mainly capture the background noise. I have also listened to recorded conversations – I really want to scold myself for talking from half a kilometer away from the phone.

I don’t know what tests you are doing there, but this is inadequate. This is a major functionality. In general, if you plan to have a call in an urban environment, don’t buy them until there’s info for a fix, because this problem has been around for a long time and it’s not just to me.

And for the Samsung folks – I’ve tried with and without the “Ambient sound during calls”. Speaking of which, if you want to hear colleagues in the office and people on a call, well you know, it won’t work.

The ambient sound function is also very bad, don’t expect to hear as if you were without headphones. In a noisy environment, you will hear everything but people’s voices. For example, in the gym, I have to take them off so that I can hear a person talking to me.

In general, certain frequencies that you are usually used to hearing and are important to the perception of your surroundings are dulled. If your idea is to listen to music at work and talk to your colleagues simultaneously – well, it won’t work.

Unless you keep the music to a minimum. and again, don’t expect much. I’ve tried all sorts of settings. Active noise canceling – well, I can’t judge with it or without it, the noise is reduced. If I’m not listening to music and it’s activated it’s as if I didn’t play it, even some outside noises are heard more distinctly when I switch it on.

So much for active noise cancellation. For music and conversations in a quiet place, the buds are great – but only for that. If you’re a total introvert, you’ll be happy. For the more communicative – don’t take them!.

These earbuds are comfortable to wear though and the lack of wire makes them much easier to handle (no more tangles!). They are very lightweight and come with 3 different sizes of silicone buds, so you can adjust them to fit your ears.

I find they do occasionally move, though I can usually catch them before they fall out – I only ever use them when walking though, which will make them more likely to slip. They come in a handy, discreet charging case, which can be charged using a standard phone charger.

The case displays a red, amber or green light when you close it after putting the buds in to show how much charge is left. I’ve been impressed by the buds’ battery life – they can last many hours playing podcasts and taking calls.

In order to sync the buds with your devices, you need to install the Samsung Wear app – this is quick to do and you are taken, step-by-step through setting up connections and learning the features of the buds.

The app has a test to determine the fit of the buds in your ears but I found this delivered completely random results – without moving or adjusting the buds, I ran the test 3 times in a row and got ‘good fit – left, poor fit – right’; ‘good fit – left, good fit – right’; and ‘poor fit – left, good fit – right’.

But the other features are helpful – you can set either noise cancelling (this uses more battery) or 3 different levels of ‘ambient noise’ to allow you to hear your surroundings. I have mine set to allow medium ambient noise and I find this useful for when walking/running to hear traffic while still being able to have my phone’s volume set at half (with my old Sony in-ear wired buds, the volume always had to be set high, above the safety warning zone!).

You can also customize the ‘tap’ functions, for example, one tap to play or pause, two taps to answer and end calls, tap-hold to skip a track. You can’t stray too far from your device and some things seem to momentarily disrupt the connection but overall I really like these buds.

These earbuds look great and feel well made. They’re nice and compact so sit neatly in your ears for a discreet look. They fit well in my ears, although I was disappointed to only find 3 sizes of tips included.

Also, because they are so small, it takes some getting used to adjusting them in your ear without activating the touch controls. The case is also compact and easily fits into a pocket, yet gives the earbuds a couple of full charges before requiring recharging.

The gloss finish makes the case quiet slippery though, perhaps a matt finish would have been better. On to the most important factor when it comes to earbuds; sound. I’m certainly no audiophile, but listen to a lot of music, often with headphone/earphones, and to me these sound great.

I have found other earbuds around this price to have too much bass, but these seem nicely balanced. I listen mostly to rock and acoustic and have found them well suited to both. The Bluetooth connection is also robust, with zero cutouts experienced in the few weeks I’ve been using them.

On a less positive note you have the Galaxy Wearable app, which is required to access many of the earbud’s features. Before you can even use the app, you have to seemingly give it access to your entire phone and all of your personal details.

The following are some of the permissions required just to open the app: access your location, make and manage phone calls, read your calendar, read your SMS, view your call logs. I understand that these are required to use some of the assistant features, but these should all be optional if you just wish to use these as earphones.

Once you’re in the app works fine, you’re able to change the noise cancelling, touch controls, equaliser presets and some other settings. Overall a great looking, great sounding pair of earbuds with good battery life for their size.

The sound from the head phones is great and I love that you can have active noise cancelling or ambient sound. The active noise cancelling is amazing and when I am in the office works wonders if I need to block out background noise and focus.

The ambient sound feature is the best I have ever experienced, it’s like the music is being played in the room, rather than on the headphones, so I can clearly hear what is happening around me, but it’s not distracting.

They are also very comfortable to wear for long periods and there is an app you can use to customise the touch controls. I don’t have a Samsung phone and I didn’t find any limitations to functionality.

The range is very good if I walk away from my phone whilst using. There were a couple of down sides. I found that the ear buds did fall out on occasion and I think this may be my ears, compared to other wireless head phones I have tried, I did find that they stayed in place quite well.

Also the touch controls are not buttons and cover the whole surface, so if you touch or knock the bud in your ear, it stops the music etc when I didn’t intend to, but the touch controls can be turned off if preferred and I figured out after a while how to touch them without setting off the controls so much.

I also noticed that sometimes the earbuds didn’t turn on when I took them out of the case and I had to select them on the phone, not figured out why and that could be user error. Also, where the buds create a seal I do find it feels like I can hear inside my head, like if I had blocked ears, which I am not a fan of, but I think that is the same for any in ear head phones I use and is may not bother other people.

All in all, I would say they are light, comfortable and well designed. If you are looking for something for the gym or running you might prefer the head phones with wings to keep them in place. In terms of value for money, if they last a long time, I think they are probably worth the investment.

Ive had these for a short while and they were. okay in the beginning. I was accustomed to more cheaper price point cordless earphones specifically Altec Lansing nanopods so its not like i dont know how to use them.

But the issue for those was they werent made for longevity, glitched out occasionally and were generally just okay quality given their low price. So i decided to invest in some good cordless earphones and as a fan of samsung over apple products i opted for this one.

Their look surprised me and were a bit confusing about how to insert into the ear since they werent very ‘typically’ shaped (i had to watch a youtube video just to figure it out) but it wasnt a big deal.

The real issue was the performance. The pods had a lot of cool features such as synching to my samsung phone and letting me see the battery level of not just the pods themselves but also the charging case.

But that feature is utterly useless when the pods stop working even when the battery is supposedly full. But that can be fixed by just continuously tapping the glitching earpod until it desides to work or straight up taking it out and rolling it between your hands.

Audio phases out for no reason on both pods (a recently developed problem) and you essentially need to disconnect, plug them into their case, take them out again, AND THEN you can use them. Its a lot of very tempermental audio performance that requires you to use two hands to fix so you need to basically stop everything youre doing when it decides to fizzle out or youll be stuck listening to a crackling staticy-earbud.

Now, no piece of technology is without its issues. But to have this amount of incosistency, annoying devlopments, and glitches for something that cost $100+? No. Absolutely not. I invested into this pair of earphones because i wanted the longevity and quality that a price point like that would guarentee.

But honestly the $30 dollar headphones i used before preformed more consistently than these did in the short while i had them. Not worth the annoyance of constantly fixing and definitly not worth the price you pay for them.

Ill definitly be retunjng and looking to buy a different set of samsung headphones, whether ill like those remains to be see but as for this model, make, and pair? Dont even bother. They work. Sometimes.

But when youre paying a lot for something it shouldnt work ‘sometimes’ it should work, period.

Honestly although these might be an older version of newer headphones, these still hold their own. The headphones have an amazing sound that still far exceeds most other headphones in the same price category.

Paired with a Samsung phone these work seamlessly, add a Samsung Tablet and you can add productivity to their abilities. You can move from one device to the other extremely easy without having to pair the device and headphones.

The sound is rich and can get deep tones with audio especially anything streamed in the lossless formats. I love these headphones more than any other truly wireless options I have. I find myself using them often but with a storage case that also works as a charging base with its own battery source to charge the headphones, I don’t need to charge these more than 2x a week at best.

Maybe 3 on heavy use weeks but honestly that’s rare. The headphones give a solid 8hrs of listening and the base gives at least 3 solid charges, more if you’re not using both for the entirety of that 8hrs.

Hands down one of if not the best headphones I’ve ever owned. I forgot to mention one of my favorite features. Using the active noise/voice setting that allows you to use them in environments that you also want to be able to tell when someone is speaking to you and you need to be able to hear them with the headphones on.

The earpiece allows for vocals to be focalized through the mics of the headphones. Very neat feature.

Okay, so to be honest, I wasn’t in love with these earbuds when I first got them. I liked them but still wanted something better. However, I finally got around to changing the size of the tips to the small, which fit my ears better and it’s made all the difference! The sound and the noise cancellation went from being 4 stars to 5.

The buds also don’t look like they were bulging out of my head either because it actually sits more in my ear now. It’s also much more comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. I barely even feel them in my ears.

The ambient mode also works pretty well (but I think the ambient mode on the buds pro is slightly better). I wish that these had the feature that lowers the music volume when it detects me talking. But it’s not a feature that is on most buds right now so I can’t be too mad about that.

The battery is more than decent for me. I’ve never used them to the point that they’re drained of battery. I also love that I’m able to charge this wirelessly. It makes my life so much easier. these are little things but they matter.

The build on these builds feel very sturdy and I can see it lasting a long time. I really really like that these buds are able to pair to multiple devices at once, making it easy to switch between my devices without having to unpair and reconnect them.

I didn’t realize what an amazing feature this is before and I can’t see myself going back to buds that can’t do this. Overall, I’m more happy with these buds than I thought I would be and I highly recommend them.

Its only been a week and I can say that aren’t the worst thing out there, but on sale for $80 and the samsung brand name I expected much more out of them. The battery on my right one always dies while the other is at 10% or so and I’m diligent about charging them both to 100%.

their battery life seems to be over all decent i dont think I charged them all the way the first time or 2 but they seem to last a few hours. SIGNAL: while paired with a new samsung A21 and a standard rubbery/plastic shock case with tempered glass some how the distance from my front pocket to my ears is almost to much.

if I turn or move slightly they cut out for a second. Its 10x worse in my back pocket for some reason. If it loses clear line of site at any distance or even has a clear line of site and step 10 feet away it cuts out.

Ill admit the ear buds had their rare moment that u could actually tell it was on. But other wise not a noticeable improvement at allI do like the touch controls, Find my ear buds feature but its has to be dead silent to hear them almost, the equalizer is OK.

It could be more in depth but its OK for the average person like me that doesn’t know all the settings. Having to have 2 extra apps on my phone to use them is annoying especially sence it could just be a blue tooth media control setting and another thing for find my mobile to track, but I guess it doesn’t take to much space on my phoneOver all I do not recommend and im very close to returning these for something else.

very disappointed in this product. i’m a regular headphone user so i got this wired headphones for my s20fe. it has a noticeable static or squeaky noise when plugged in which is annoying and very very obvious.

i only noticed this after the return period closed so now i’m stuck with 30$ piece of junk. been a loyal samsung customer for years but the removal of the headphone jack and the terrible quality of these headphones are turning me away from samsung products for good.

these came with my s20 5g. they sound good but you have to have the volume up to at least half if not more to actually hear the music. tried them on a plane trip and could barely hear my music with them all the way up.

can’t charge phone while using these earphones as only charging port is taken. also after 2 hours of using these while in the airport waiting for flight my ears began hurting and were sore for rest of day.

my 2 pairs of klipsch 3. 5mm in-ears are very comfortable and i can wear them all day with zero discomfort. least i didn’t pay for these. real pain to have to have another dongle to carry around. at least add another usb-c port to the phone to allow charging and listening to music at the same time.

i recently upgraded my phone and tablet to the note20 ultra and s7+. a big caveat was the loss of 3. 5mm port. luckily, in the uk – the note 20 ultra came with these headphones in the box. these perform as you’d expect for headphones in their price range.

they perform as well as headphones up to £100 – and vastly better than anything cheaper than this. the mids are clear and rich and the bass has some body to it. you can hear good detail from instruments.

high’s are clear.

I bought these earphones five days ago and they are the best earphones I have ever owned. Excellent sound quality and workmanship. The features, performance and design are worth the money invested.

TLDR – This is a great evolution of my favorite wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Pro. The sound and noise cancellation is improved, the buds fit much better than the previous generation and I love the new matte finish on the case and buds.

My only complaint is the touch targets seem slightly smaller than the prior version, so I have to re-train my muscle memory. Get them if you’re looking for a great wireless earbud, and have a Samsung device.

iPhone and non-samsung devices, look elsewhere as the features you’ll lose will not make this a great value compared to similar earbuds from Jabra or Apple. I have used the Galaxy Buds2 Pro (I’ll refer to them as the Pro 2) for about a week.

I also have a Galaxy Buds Pro (“Pro 1”) and Galaxy Buds Live earbuds that I use interchangeably at both work and home, so I think I have a pretty good basis for comparison against those devices. Positives: Samsung really improved the comfort, sound quality and ANC in the Pro 2 vs.

the Pro 1. The Pro 2s are much easier to fit in my ears (I use the medium size tips) because the shape is slightly smaller and oval compared to the rounder and thicker Pro 1. Fit and comfort is highly subjectiver however, since everyone’s ears are different.

The ANC and ambient noise quality and function are improved over the Pro 1. I use these and the Pro 1s in an office environment and the Pro 2 are definitely stronger ANC compared to the Pro 1. The ambient listening sound quality is slightly better on the Pro 2, but the feature itself works the same as the Pro 1.

Negatives: The Pro 2s are slightly smaller than the Pro 1, so the touch targets are slightly smaller as well and have shifted slightly so I’m experiencing quite a few missed touches and wrong commands while my muscle memory is re-learned.

The Pro 2s still don’t have true multipoint capability, and the auto switch function between Samsung devices sometimes switched to my tablet when I didn’t want it to. The IP67 rating carries forward from the Pro 1s without changes.

I’ve used these in the shower a few times (same as the Pro 1) and they work fine, as long as you remember to turn off the touch controls to avoid accidental activation from water splashes. Since samsung didn’t really add new features, the Pro 1s are still a great product and probably a better value now, assuming the price will drop to clear out remaining inventory.

Overall, these are a great.

I was really excited to get these after reading how great the last generation was and the improvements made to them this year. Unfortunately, I have an iPhone 13, not a Galaxy phone. And Samsung has discontinued support for the Galaxy app on the app store, so these essentially just become a nice pair of bluetooth earbuds without any of the functionality provided if you pair them with a Galaxy phone.

I’m not sure how they would do with a Pixel or other Android phone, but at this point I’m assuming Samsung wants you locked into their ecosystem to get the full benefits. And don’t get me wrong, I know Apple does this with the AirPods, which are functional but ugly in their current design.

Google has started doing this with the Pixel Buds as well, so it’s just the way it is and it’s getting annoying for consumers. I would much rather have these over airpods, but Samsung has decided they don’t want anyone with a phone that isn’t theirs.

I’m sure it’s easier from a programming standpoint but it seems like you’re cutting out a big piece of the market. These sound good, but I can’t adjust the settings so they might sound better if you have a Galaxy to make use of the 24-bit high-fi capability.

You can toggle the ANC by touching the earpod directly, and the ANC is good but I don’t have access to the Intelligent Conversation Mode which would be awesome. Enhanced 360 audio also doesn’t work without a Galaxy phone, nor does the multi-point bluetooth.

Look, these are super comfortable for all day wearing, have a great battery life and bluetooth range along with water resistance of IPX7. They have basic ANC you can toggle on and off manually and sound decent.

If you have a Galaxy smartphone, these are the buds for you. If you have any other phone, you need to understand the limitations before spending the money. Likewise with the other manufacturers that only give you the full experience within their own ecosystem.

That’s why I give these 3 stars, because Samsung gave up on the app and the price isn’t justified unless you have the right phone. I wanted to love these, but they’re going to be my lawn mowing/workout buds and I’m going to stick with my Bose QC earbuds for travel/calls/etc because there are no restrictions on them regardless of the phone, computer or tablet I pair them with.

I am quite impressed with these earbuds; my initial impressions began with the packaging. Samsung, like Sony and some other companies, is moving towards sustainable packaging and there is little if any plastic utilized here.

Clever use of various paper and cardboard-based materials is used to secure the earbuds, case, USB C cord, and ear tips inside of the box. Continued impressions were when I opened the earbuds case, placed the earbuds in, and found that active noise canceling (ANC) immediately began and that, with the case open, it was already querying for a Bluetooth connection.

This made connecting my iPhone a cinch. They also have the Galaxy connect feature where they can connect to compatible Galaxy devices with just opening the earbuds case. The audio experience with these earbuds is excellent and is on par with many others I have tried including my Apple Airpod Pro’s and LG FP9’s.

As a matter of face, the bass presence and detail here may surpass the others entirely. An additionally impressive aspect of these earbuds is their ability to block wind noise. I went for a bike ride on a very windy evening and with these headphones on transparency mode for safety, I found that these headphones blocked out the wind admirably well to the point where I could hear my audio with no problem.

With the additional assurance from Samsung that these are IPX7 water-resistant, I feel that these would be a great choice for athletes or outdoors-oriented audiophiles. The controls on the earbuds themselves are intuitive and easy to use.

The only trouble is that I find that like other earbuds that lack controls on a stem, I often find myself inadvertently performing actions with the earbuds like pausing my music when I pressed the bud to adjust it back into my ear canal.

The earbuds do have an excellent fit, but every earbud requires adjustment once in a while, especially while in the middle of activities. If you are not an Apple ecosystem devotee, these are very good earbuds to consider.

They have a strong, simple to set up Bluetooth connection and just sound absolutely excellent. Additionally, their battery life is going to attract many users to them over some of the competition’s offerings.

Altogether, I have no issue recommending these to anyone seeking not only an excellent, refined audio experience, but one that is really made to excel with Galaxy devices.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. I have been looking for a pair of headphones with microphone since purchasing my phone back in March because unfortunately, the phone only comes with a standard pair of headphones.

The Samsung OEM Samsung 3. 5mm Stereo Headset for Galaxy S5, S4, S3, Note work great. They are comfortable to wear. The sound is very crisp and clear. The earbuds provide a tight yet comfortable fit thanks to the silicone bud covers.

They work well to help fight background noise. The microphone includes in-line volume control. This is great for hands-free in the car, or long conference calls at work. I can’t wait to abandon my old uncomfortable handset! The Samsung OEM Samsung 3.

5mm Stereo Headset for Galaxy S5, S4, S3, Note are a great price, how can you go wrong with a brand name headphone for $5. I feel comfortable keeping these in my purse with my phone. If the wiring breaks down or shorts out over time, they were not a huge investment and worth the convenience.

They are prime eligible so they shipped quickly and arrived at my house within 2 days. If you are in the market for a set of Samsung-compatible earbuds, these are definitely a great option.

I love the Samsung brand headphones. The ones they did the collab with though. HCB or something like that. They fit my ears so nicely and they rarely get sore. I even sleep in them. They are noise canceling and are better than what apple gives you for sure.

Excellent audio quality. Very nice in ear fit. Comfortable for long periods of time. Minimal audio bleed. Built in microphone can be sensitive to adjustments and background noise. Must be careful not to move around too much.

Would definitely recommend for a inexpensive audio solution.

Better than my Buds+ with respect to the bass. Not significantly harder hitting, considering that these are worn in ear, but a bit smoother and more pronounced. I tested the noise canceling in an airplane and a casino.

Not 100% blocked out, but made a significant improvement. The shiny finish looks great but it shows any smudge, so keep those ears clean. Seriously though, I can see these getting scuffed. They are less comfortable for smaller ears because they can’t be fitted with different sizes for the ear wings.

I first put them in upside-down because they seem weirdly shaped. I just opened the Samsung Wear app and it shows an illustration with instructions for inserting the ear buds. Overall like these but will keep the Buds+ set for more sweaty outdoor activities.

The sound is pretty good. They fall out of my ears at times, though I’ve read all about proper positioning, tried adjusting positions, etc. They did *not* come with different sized “ear wings”, nor could I find any on the Samsung site, so I bought “compatible” ones on Amazon.

However, changing ear wing size doesn’t help–could be my ears are not right for the product. They *are* very comfortable, such that I forget I am wearing them. If I take them out when I am doing anything that requires leaning forward, the rest of the time they’ll mostly stay in.

However, one fell out when all I was doing was walking. One or the other has fallen in the sink and been in water a couple seconds before I could fish it out–immediately dried with towel and put it in moving air–still seems to work ok.

Hard to handle, so small and slippery. I think they need to work a little on the design, but have a good audio product here.

I love it. I am completely in love with it. I bought a protective case for it. This shows my overwhelm! I am still concerned however about health drawbacks caused by Bluetooth buds. I have read that there are no researches proving any harmful side effects YET.

I will use it when needed only until i feel confident it won’t damage my health.

I appreciate the changes in the sound quality since my purchase of the Level and Gear headphones. There was no change in quality b/t the audio quality of the Gear to Level. Actually the functions decreased b/t these two as the S voice NEVER worked in the Level headphones.

The U Flex restored the S Voice functionality, and the audio quality has increased greatly! The separate woofer and tweeter in the earbuds greatly improved the audio quality. I had a S3 with the Gear and later an S6 with the Gear and Level.

I was still using the Level with the S6 and the upgrade to the S9. Both still work. The Level wires were fraying and no S Voice doomed these headphones. Now after getting U Flex, its integration is as good as the Gear.

All the Bixby, volume and the answer/hang up buttons work as advertised. The power usage is a little less efficient than either Gear or Level headsets; I need to charge these, daily. I don’t do workouts with any headsets as they all fail, but the U Flex on-neck design is flat enough to put under your T shirt and not move.

The longer wires, to the earplugs, I thought were a hindrance, but I’ve adapted to them. They allow side-to-side movement, and when not in use you can completely hide them under my shirt. But they are still earbuds, so I don’t think a rigorous workout would allow them to stay put.

I don’t think the more flexible neck helps any functionality. I mean, I can’t put these in my pocket, for storage, and a case I bought for the Level fits the smaller U Flex; I can fit both in the same case.

I seriously love these headphones, probably the best pair I’ve ever owned. I mean it. There’s so many positives on these headphones: Integrated with Bixby, Bluetooth setup, range exceptional. Battery life, exceptional getting 12 hrs or better depending on usage of course per day and holding 6 months later.

Recharge is perhaps an hour? Usage of the headphones, remain secure in the ear, no matter what I do during the day, even sleep. Now the part which pains me to even write: I’m on my second pair of these headphones.

The first pair I had to return back to Samsung, and that was extremely painful process. The first pair of headphones had an issue where the right ear-bud was significantly degraded sound. Here on the second pair, 6 months again and YET again right-side ear bud is significantly lower in sound output than the left side.

The headphones have been holding pretty strong, until of course this issue which is a repeat from the first pair I’ve owned. Disappointed. So what is the solution, send these back under warranty back to Samsung, and replace with pair 3? Perhaps.

Just really disappointed in the performance in this regard, otherwise again — best pair of headphones I’ve ever had, minus this one flaw. One design improvement desired, would be retractable earbuds.

Samsung has addressed almost every issue I had with my original Level U headset I loved to pieces (literally). First and foremost: BATTERY LIFE IS FANTASTIC. I have tried various BT headsets all mediocre battery life.

With the U Flex I can listen to audio for hours and it will last for days on standby. With the U Flex design you can basically roll up this device in your palms and then let go and it will regain shape, no problem.

Goodbye breaks in plastic! Water resistent design for sweat, rain, etc. Only thing I miss from my LG Tone Infinim headsets is the retractable ear buds. If Samsung stuck with this basic design but had some clips or magnets to hang up the earbuds when they aren’t in use, that would take this headset from 9/10 to 10/10.

Audio quality is impressive especially the fine tuning you can achieve with the Samsung Level App. Good job Samsung.

Great headphones for the price. Been using them for a few days at the gym and no complaint with sound and quality. Only complaint or issue is that they won’t fit people with bigger than average heads.

I don’t have the biggest head but it’s not small either. This BARELY fits me at adjusted at maximum size. I own many headphones and every headphones fit me fine adjusted at about 3/4 of maximum size.

Just something people might want to consider. I wear a cap 7 1/2 for reference.

So far Rockville has continued to impress me. The sound quality for the price is just amazing. I love these headphones. I have a big head so these are a lil small on me and my ears. They aren’t uncomfortable just not super comfortable.

Samsung has done a stellar job in delivering so many features in a lightweight package that is the Galaxy Buds2. The sound quality is top tier for the music I listen to, which can range from classical, to rock, to instrumental themes, to even bass-heavy EDM.

While the rated frequency response is not as wide as the competition, it does not affect the practical usage of this earphones. I would not recommend prolonged usage with high volume, these earphones can quite easily get very loud.

I have found the earphones’ battery to be amazing, and since the case charges rapidly via Type-C or wirelessly, a quick top up is always possible. I suppose you get the active noise cancelling you pay for.

While it isolates you effectively from the environment, it is not to a degree that the top tier more expensive earphones/headphones do. Noises such as a train station announcement, a pedestrian crossing beep, and other high frequency sounds are more prone to seep through the active noise cancelling.

The ambient mode is absolutely amazing! The Galaxy Wearable app provides three levels of functionality on the ambient mode, thus allowing different levels of background noise to seep through. I would recommend the ‘medium’ setting, having observed that the ‘high’ setting can amplify external noises to a very high extent.

Even when music is played in a low volume, the Buds2 do a great job in noise isolation. The earphones fit in snugly in my ears and I would definitely run with these. However considering everyone’s ears are different, your mileage may vary.

The call/mic quality is brilliant on these earbuds. As we embrace the mask life, it is obviously important to be heard clearly on a phone/Zoom call while on the go in a noisy environment. The microphone array do an amazing job in ensuring it is only your voice that the person on call hears, and not the noises around you.

More importantly, during a call, the active noise cancellation ensures no background noise is mixed in with the call. A few other things that I can state in no particular order include – the ability to seamlessly use just one earbud with the other earbud in the case effectively doubling battery life; the frequent software updates on the Galaxy Wearable app; and the flawless touch controls that include tap to play/pause, double tap to skip to next track, triple tap to skip to start of track/previous track and a programmable touch and hold that I have set to switching between active noise cancelling and ambient mode.
