Let me start by saying that these head phones do sound pretty great especially for the price range. The sound quality is pretty good and thats only thing really holding these up. Aside from the good sound qualities they also have some nice set of features with the controls.

Can change the mic feed back and game/chat audio from the buttons on the left cup. As great as that is its compromised by the comfort and ergonomics of headset. If you have a slightly than average head or ears these WILL NOT feel comfortable to wear at all.

They have a really tight clamp feel and the cups are circular and not oval. So your ears will be pressured by the cups pretty greatly. I could only wear these for 1 hour at a time before they would feel extremely uncomfortable.

After a 3 hour play session on my 3rd day with them my jaw was cramping and my ears were hurting. DON’T BUY these if you have a slightly than average head or ears. They will not feel good for extended play sessions.

If you have an average head with smaller ears you’ll most likely be fine and get to enjoy the good sound quality that they have. For comparison i ended up returning these and getting a pair of Blackshark V2 pros.

The comfort is unmatched and the sound quality is way better. The ones i got now have 50mm drivers which sound a lot louder and richer in the depth of the sounds and effects. They are currently on sale for 132 which for a 32 dollar difference i hightly recommend.

Way better sound and the comfort is amazing. Can even wear them with my glasses no problem. Like i said though only 3 stars for the 3d pulse because of the comfort. If you have a regular sized head and ears you should be able to enjoy them.

Love the Pulse 3D headset… it works awesome with the PS5 and PS4 Pro. Although on PS5 their is no available companion app. It’s built inside of the PS5 settings in audio. The Pulse 3D clearly demonstrate it runs native to the PS5 console and connects flawlessly and sounds awesome on Sony first party titles! Other 3rd party titles sound great too! I use my Pulse 3D headset on PS5 and my Gaming PC, with a purchased Dolby Access subscription – you are able to get Dolby Atmos codec on your Pulse 3D headset! Im rocking Sony’s proprietary Tempest 3D codec on PS5 and Dolby Atmos via Dolby Access on my Gaming PC.

They sound great both on these gorgeous Midnight Black Sony Pulse 3D headphones. The only flaw is its plastic feel, but of course these are only $100. Not $300 headphones. Awesome quality for the price!.

Pretty good! Wish they were a lil louder since there’s no noise cancellation. But it’s great when u live in an apartment and don’t wanna disturb your neighbors/roommates. A lil but of a learning curve when learning where all the buttons are so you don’t have to remove it from your head.

Battery life is pretty good and they recharge pretty quickly. It’s also just weird that they still use a usb-dongle to connect to the PlayStation taking up on of the few ports. But I hear the dongle is more efficient at connecting.

Looking for active noise cancellation? Check out the h7 gaming headphones from Sony, but they are more than double the price.

Pulse 3D are great headsets, without a doubt, but despite that, there are certain drawbacks that should be mentioned. At the beginning, and perhaps most important of all, the sound quality is really great, especially considering that this is a headset that costs 100 EUR.

The so-called 3D sound should definitely be mentioned. The experience is really impressive and hard to describe in words, but one thing is for sure, the whole gaming experience is completely different with this headset on your head.

As for the look itself, the headphones visually look modern. They certainly stand out from the competition. I opted for the black version as it looks nicer to me personally, but also because I secretly hope that Sony will offer official black matte plates in the foreseeable future, so with the black DualSense and black headset it could really look nice.

Anyway, despite the beautiful design, the material from which they are made seems cheap and it is quite certain that this is not a premium thing. But as I mentioned, the price definitely justifies that shortcoming.

They seem very comfortable, at least for now, I only recently bought them so I haven’t had a chance to wear them for a long period of time, but judging by the initial experience, there should be no problem with long use.

In addition to all the above, you can also use these headset to listen to music on your computer or mobile phone, the only thing that needs to be emphasised is that in that case you’ll need to use a wireless USB transmitter, which then needs to be plugged into an available USB port.

My computer only has USB-C ports so it’s a bit inconvenient because I have to use an adapter, but despite that, the sound quality is extremely high quality. In short, all the recommendations for this headset, especially considering the price and what you get for it.

I cant give 2. 5 five stars so 3 stars it is. I compared these against Sony – WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Cancelling headphones and i was disappointed with both of them and heres why. Pulse 3D headphones exclusively build to take advantage of ps5 tempest 3D audio engine lack the high audio volume and high quality fidelity to accomplish what the tempest engine can deliver yet it delivers a decent enough quality and volume if you don’t have a noisy environment like refrigerator,AC, dogs, loud neighborhood etc.

Due to the lack of noise cancelling for the earphones them selves or enough volume to provide enough volume to overcome some what the outside noises. Conectivity: and latency however either connected directly or wireless bluethooth to the ps5 is not only very easy but also responsiveness is very fast, no latency between what you do on screen to you ears, its right on the money.

Comfort: They are uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time the ear cuff is to small and round, clipping the edge of your ear hurting it overtime specially if you wear glasses. There is a way around it and that’s if you have small enough ears to not get clipped or if you just willing to endure the pain or get use to it, which i think no one should get use to something thats wrong.

Sound Quality: Disappointed, before getting these i tested the Sony – WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise-Cancelling headphones side by side and they weren’t even close to deliver what the M4s could, which was disappointed because i was hoping for if not a bit better at least equal since these pulse headphones had the upper hand being built specifically for the ps5 however the M4s are not recognized by the ps5 bluethooth compatibility which blew my mind because why in the hell would a Sony WH 1000M4 headphones not be bluethooth compatible with a sony Ps5! You are Nuts Sony! Yet even with that issue the M4s delivered a more believable 3D audio connecting the M4s through my tvs bluethooth even though connection was not stable between my tvs bluethooth it still managed to deliver better sound than the playstation pulse headphones when connection was stable.

Now plugin directly to the controller is where the M4s sound muffled just like the pulse did which it through me off, so something weird is going between sound delivery between the controllers bluethooth and ps5 something to keep in mind or dig deeper into.

If only the m4s had a direct bluethooth connectivity with ps5 im sure they would have been the go to for gaming on ps5 and take you closer to 3D tempest audio more then the pulse could ever do, do to the lack of outside sound isolation or higher volume capabilities high enough to drown whatever environment noises you may have.

If you have the money get the M4s and buy a separate bluethooth dongle to plug into the ps5 and see if that works ( i did not test that ) yet even if you don’t youll will be happier with the somys WH 1000 m4s due to better quality audio, higher volume capabilities, environmental sound isolation and way more comfortable (Way) more comfortable than the pulse 3D playstation headphones.

Bought the Arctic 3 Console Edition to replace a Hyperx Cloud Alpha that went bad. Honestly for a $70 headset it’s the better value all around. It’s lighter, more comfortable, has a better microphone and sounds better to me.

It has a removable cable which is replaceable if needed as well as ear cushions which can be changed out. Simple on eat volume and mute controls so you dont have to fumble around with online control.

Sounds great as I mainly player shooters and can detect enemy locations and such with incredible ease. Honestly a great headset if you are on a budget or just want to save money. This one does everything the $100-$150 headsets do and does most better.

this is my humble opinion. Maybe it’s a good design that fits very well with your psvr, but sacrifice design for audio quality no thanks. The original headphones that come with your psvr are of a very good clear quality and are designed to give you the maximum sound needed for your video game experience.

These Bionik Mantis hearing aids are not worthwhile, they are uncomfortable and they do not sound good at all. but try them and discover for yourself that they are just a waste of money. you want something good 3D audio and very comfortable sony platinum its value rewards quality and comfort.

These headphones truly took my PSVR to a new level of immersion. The ear buds it comes with (the PSVR) are just fine IMHO, but these add a dynamic like the Playstation Gold headset. Not as l loud or bassey as the Golds, but perfect for an added level immersion to the VR experience.

Get the over ear attachment (sold separately) and you will be in the game. Highly recommended and a must have for the VR unit.

The PS5 is my first playstation console since the PS2. Ive been an Xbox guy since the early 2000s. So my only headset experience is with the generic Microsoft headsets or Turtle Beach headsets. But this headset is by FAR my favorite that Ive ever had.

I have big ears, so I was nervous about the fit, but they actually fit pretty great. They also fit on my 9yr old without complaints. Battery lasts around 8-10 hours on a full charge. Im glad I picked this headset, but if I could do it again, Id wait a little while until its a bit cheaper.

Comfortable, great sound and relatively inexpensive for wireless headphones. I had the Sony Gold’s for the PS4 and they were good. I find these to be even better. They’re lighter which I’d huge for me because I usually hate wearing anything on my head(I use earbuds for music).

The sound on these is a nice improvement over the Gold and it’s nice to have the choice of black or white.

On Warzone, footsteps sound clear and as if you are in the game. Easy to figure out which direction noise is coming from and if its above or below you. Amazing sound! The dongle makes it fast with no lag from traditional bluetooth.

The RIG-500 Pro HX Gen 2 headset is comfortable and one can easily get lost and immersed into a game before realizing that the headset was on all the time! It is a seamless experience and you do not feel any weight.

The fit can be customized to your liking without making it uncomfortable. The metal headband should handle quite a bit of wear and tear and some rough handling without worries. At the same time, it is not bulky.

The earcups are just the right size and help block out quite a lot of the outside noise. Adjusting the headset involves taking out the ear cup and physically reslotting into the slot up or down. But you once you have this set to your liking, you will not need to mess with it again.

Sliding adjustment mechanisms are easier but they bring their own issues. The sound quality while good is a bit on lower side of volume. This was surprising. I had to bump up the sound level on the source and then use the sliding sound adjustment on the connecting flat wire to get the sound to a level I wanted.

The microphone is detachable and flexible which works to your needs and advantage. The flat cable is a nice touch and helps reduce tangling. I wish the cable was a bit longer though. For handset games, the length is reasonable but for connecting to a PC/laptop, it certainly needs to be longer.

Very easy to setup and use. Comfortable, not bulky and solid sound. Overall, a good headset that will get you lost and enjoying your games.

Yes, I admit the picture of the headphones on the box look better than the actual headphones themselves. However I was delighted by the sound quality of the headphones themselves. Essentially wearing these headphones sounds like a soundbar in each ear.

You almost feel every bullet fired and every explosion is just wow. I could hear my friends fine and they could hear me fine as well so nothing special there. The movement of the microphone feels blah.

It also does not mute the microphone when lifted up which I find unusual. After several hours of straight gaming the headset felt comfortable on my head and felt comfortable to take off. No post headphone pain of any kind though skull size may vary with this experience as you will all know.

Now this may be a non-issue for some but for me this was a huge. The 3. 5mm jack is straight rather than the traditional L shape. I loathe the L shaped jack. It gets in the way of my gaming which is why I switched to wireless in the first place.

Additionally the cord is not too long or short. Dare I say its length is: perfect. It’s also flat rather than round which avoids tangles. A great cheap looking headset I would recommend.

I have had one of the earlier RIG headsets and two headsets of this particular model – one which I received from Nacon several months after opening a warranty request with Plantronics (now Poly) before they handed the ownership off and dozens of emails to remind Nacon I still had a warranty request and re-explaining my issues.

I got the RIG headsets because they were modular, but you can’t find parts to purchase anywhere now that the rights have been handed off (unless you have the 500). The first headset had the speakers give out in less than a year.

The second had the microphone start producing static after a few months; it has to be in a single, particular position to work correctly. I contacted Nacon multiple times about that issue with no response or support.

Now the headset randomly switches off, works when powered off, and worst of all randomly produces extremely loud static that is both panic inducing and incredibly painful. Now that you can’t purchase parts and there is no functional support for these headsets, I cannot recommend them in any good conscious.

I’m actually going to say don’t buy them at all. Especially not for the price, the frequency at which parts stop working properly, and the ear damage done by random malfunctions.

In true Sony fashion the biggest standout is the actual audio quality of these headset. What I mean by that, is that you want a product to perform well in what matters most, you want your tv’s to have excellent video quality, speakers and in this review headphones to have excellent audio quality.

Sony I will say achieved that with these headphones, but we’ll come back to that. Right off the bat I noticed how comfortable these are. There is a roughly ¾” padding for your ears that snuggles your ears quite nicely (see photo).

Now I’m partial to the material the padding is made up, seems like it will last and has a great cooling effect. That will help your head and ears from sweating, when you’re in the middle of a late night gaming bender for 3 hours! I’m bald, so it’s a nice snug fit and doesn’t slide around too much.

This might have a negative effect for someone with a lot of fine hair, might slide all over creation. The interior of the padding however, worries me. (see photo with pen pointing to it. I once owned a pair of headphones in this style, that the entire padding was what appears to be made of the same material this internal lining is made of.

I say worried because after a couple years, it started peeling off in chunks like cheap faux leather does over time. I could be 100% wrong, just thought I should note it. Time will be the tell all for my concerns regarding that.

Been told I have a rather large noggin, so I will note that these have awesome girth capabilities, more than enough room! Love how the R for right is red (see photo), and the L is very noticeable too.

Most headphones I’ve owned, the microphone is on the left side like this set, but there’s nothing worse than turning over a pair of headphones in your hands looking for the stupid R & L indicators. Not the case with these, thank you Sony.

(It’s the little things Jimmy) The volume dial on the left ear piece is perfectly placed, and very functional, easy to reach up and adjust at a seconds notice. (when you’re wife is yelling at you cuz you let time get away from you and you’ve been playing for 3 hours, you can turn it down and answer her).

My one concern with these being wired, was squished, when I saw there is a breakaway connection in the cord. Never fails when you need a bathroom break or you stand up and forget there’s a wire there, WHOOPS.

With these headphones, they should disconnect if that happens and protect the headphone connection, as well as the USB connection on your PC. Getting back to the beginning of my review and why these truly shine, the audio is magnificent.

I wore them extra during an 8 hour session of working from home, and especially with Teams, voice quality is like the person is right next to you, During gaming, WOWZA, no distortion if you crank it up! So whether you’re trying to drown out your wife who has been yelling at you to get off the game, or….

wait, I don’t do that, who said that, oh yeah I did. Honestly it’s so that I can enjoy the game audio, Idk what I was insinuating before. The audio quality is truly outstanding, and after hours of usage I was not left with a sweaty head! Great buy, and nice job Sony! I think these are built to last! 4 out of 5 stars only because they’re not wireless.

I didn’t think I would like this as much as I do. Previously I used a great wireless headset (via usb dongle) and Bluetooth to connect to PS5 and my phone at the same time, so I could hear the PS5 game *and* listen to music at the same time, but in order to do so, I would have to physically get up and plug the dongle in and out (or go into PS5 settings if it’s in and change the audio output to TV if I leave it in) – that’s all just a few extra steps, physically and/or settings changes, which if you’re short on time, takes away from gaming time.

The H3 wired simplifies everything – I don’t have to get anywhere near the PS5 console because all I have to do is plug this into the PS5 controller (or any other device such as my Nintendo Switch), and the headsets are always closer to me.

This has 3D spatial sound which is excellent when playing Fortnite (make sure to enable 3D audio in PS5 and also adjusting the 3D audio profile-if needed) – I was able to use the default as my ears set centered to the default settings.

When enabled, you can hear all the sounds coming from the appropriate directions, which are extremely useful on fighting games. The H3 doesn’t have Noise cancellation but it’s actually pretty good without it.

I have another Sony wireless with noise cancellation and it’s superb and completely drowns out my a/c. My dual bluetooth/usb dongle that doesn’t have noise cancellation makes the a/c is pretty noticeable.

The H3’s are in between the 2, but I quickly forget the a/c is even on w/the H3 because my ears are covered and the game sounds hide the loud a/c enough. The headsets themselves are comfortable, which is always a worry especially if I’m gaming for a long time – and sometimes I find myself playing on ps5 for hours at a time (especially with pinball games).

There is a volume control on the left side and the boom mic goes up and down, but putting the mic up does not mute the mic (in comparison to my other headsets) and there is no mute button on the headset itself.

When on the PS5, that’s not a problem, but when plugged into another device (such as the Nintendo Switch/PC), mute will have to be set on the device itself – minor inconvenience. For the price of the H3 in comparison to the higher end model, the H3 is a great deal that provides great sounds and is comfortable to wear for a few hours at a time.

I picked these up to try out with my PS5 to play games at night after my kids have gone to sleep. Our upstairs media room is not too far away from the kids’s bedrooms and my wife required a headset for late night gaming now that school has started up again.

Although I typically tend towards wireless headsets, I do like wired ones for gaming because there’s no lag or loss. I’ve tried another wireless BT headset for my PS5, but it required an additional dongle to work since Sony is apparently pretty stingy with allowing BT devices to connect.

At least with these, I can plug the line right into the controller. Because they’re wired, they’re actually lighter in terms of weight than my other BT headset is – which means I can play longer without feeling the weight of the headset’s band on the top of my head.

There’s a volume control rocker on the left headphone, it came out of the box cranked all the way up. Now, I’m not sure if it’s because I’m getting older or what, but I leave it cranked all the way up and the sound that I get is really impressive.

I’ve tested them out with Doom Eternal and Bloodborne on my PS5 and the amount of ambient background noise, sound effects, and music that I was missing before is really impressive. I pretty much use these now all the time when I play my PS5 because it has the added benefit of not being able to hear when my wife yells at me to get off the PS5.

There’s also a USB adapter that comes with it if you want to use this with a PC, or use the Sony INZONE app. I personally can’t speak to this since I have another headset for PC gaming and I picked these up purely to try them out with my PS5.

I also can’t really speak to the mic’s quality since I don’t really play any online games. With a teenager already living under my roof, there’s enough snark and trash talk going on here, I don’t need to experience it online as well.

Bottom line, at $100 these are a nice addition to my PS5 setup. Because there’s no battery or nonsense to mess with, I feel like these will last much longer, hurt my head less, and let me game more.

I received this headset from Nacon Inc, in return for an honest review. The RIG 4VR is a headset that boasts being designed from the ground up for PSVR and includes some great features to boot. The headset looks really nice and suites the look of the PSVR, they are also of a modular design and can be completely disassembled, this is a great feature if you ever need to replace a specific part like the head band.

It also comes with 2 interchangeable cables, a short one for use with PSVR and a long one for use with the PS4 controller or PC. Comfort is one of the main points I look for when deciding on a headset, the RIG series of headsets are some of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever worn and the 4VR is no different.

It is extremely light weight, the ear cups have thick cushioning, and they are open-backed so your ears don’t get too hot from prolonged use. The ear cups rest on the ear which I tend to not like anyway but the ear cups do feel a little small.

Sound quality is good for a budget headset, clean sound with no distortion although bass could be a little better, it’s not muddy but could be better defined. I found the headset to be a little on the quiet side, this can be an issue when using the headset without the PSVR as it relies on the inline controls on the PSVR and doesn’t include them on the headset cable.

As the headset is of the open-backed design there is quite a lot of sound leakage which can get annoying for others in the same room. One thing to note with the mic on this headset is that it does not work with the PSVR, you have to use the default PSVR mic.

This is not a fault of the headset as the PSVR doesn’t utilise external mics. One of the features of the mic is the mute when raised function. When the mic is moved into the upright position the mic mutes.

I think this is a really useful feature which I would like to see on other headsets. The quality of the mic sound seems to be average at best, there is no distortion but it can come across a little quiet from what I’ve been told when talking to friends over voice.

This is a great headset if you are a PSVR owner, it offers some great features that work incredibly well with the PSVR and good sound quality in and out of VR. I would recommend this headset to anyone looking for a set for use with PSVR but would say get a different set for general gaming or music use.

First impressions of the headset were very positive, nice packaging, the mic boom comes in a separate little pouch, showing they really cared about looking after it. Immediately after putting them on I felt the ear cups were too small.

However, it did feel much more natural after I very easily (and logically) changed the position of the cuffs on the headband. After a few minutes, they felt like any other comfortable large cup headphones.

Easy rotating mic boom is a godsend, and there is a little click you can hear (even over high volume) that tells you the boom has been placed in mute mode. This is very handy for people who frequently need to talk with RL people (I’m talking to you uni student with 5 house mates who won’t let you game in peace).

Two options for cabling mean you can have the cable length you need for most situations, and if this were a wireless headset, it wouldn’t be for the price it is. Fair trade off imo. Mic quality is great, short of screaming into the microphone my mates had no complaints.

I then tested the stereo headset mode on PC (no mic) and I will say, I was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t say this is the best headset around this price for a headset you’re wanting to stream hours of youtube listening to.

That being said, the first game I played it did an excellent job of placing me in, I actually jumped at a tank shot which my regular and more expensive headset doesn’t capture as well. It also copes very well with non-vocal music, so if you’re looking for a headset that you want to use on PS and PC (with an audio splitting cable), I think this is a very safe bet.

Takeaway: Don’t let the smaller ear muffs dissuade you, it’s comfortable, light, and the quick mute mic is legendary.

I received my RIG 4VR a couple of weeks ago, and while I do not have a PS4 or PS4 VR, I tested the headset and the accompanying audio extension cables with many different audio sources that use the 3.

5mm jack. Overall, the comfort and audio quality is very good, but I docked a star due to one of the extension audio cables being defective (explained further below). Out of the box, the look and design was simple yet sharp.

The headset frame is light in weight and made of plastic. I have some concern over durability, especially if the ear cups are adjusted often (e. g. sharing between adults, kids), but for a single user over the age of 8 years old, they should probably be ok.

The fit and comfort of the headset was very good allowing for easy adjustment to three fixed positions and some flexibility with the elastic headband (which is removable). The mic boom has two operating positions: fully down (unmuted) and fully up (muted).

There is no LED or visual indicator that the mic is muted, however the mic boom makes an audible click when fully raised. With a properly functioning audio cable, I found the listening and mic audio quality to be very good.

I tested using several different audio sources (LG Android tablet, iPhone 5, 6, and 6+, PC desktop and notebooks) and found that the overall audio and mic performance was very good while listening to music, having a phone conversation, using apps like Skype, Discord, TeamChat, as well as for gaming.

The RIG 4VR comes with two audio extension cables (standard 3. 5mm male and female ends). The 0. 4m (1. 3 ft. ) cable is intended for use with a VR headset and the 1. 2m (3. 9 ft. ) cable is intended to use for any audio source that uses the 3.

5mm jack. It is worth noting that when testing the headset with both cables, I noticed audio issues with the longer (1. 2m/3. 9 ft. ) cable and determined it was defective. The female end of the jack on that cable could not hold a proper connection which resulted in loss of stereo, tinny audio and inconsistent mic audio.

To get good quality audio, I had to hold the connectors together. I tested with my own personal 3. 5mm audio extension cable and the mic and audio quality of the headset was very good (same quality as with the shorter supplied audio extension cable).

The Rig 4VR shines in the aspect that it was made for a specific purpose. With an incredibly lightweight frame and comfortable on-skin contact for both the ears and head, it makes for a seamless addition to the VR Experience.

The tension headband put in place between the frame and audio cups is an innovative answer to the problems plaguing gamers of different hat size. After first use, you’ll find it retains your desires snugness easily, and the cup placement options make for certain comfort.

As someone who’s already going to have a VR on his head, practically no additional weight is an added plus. For the PC or PS4 controller, the audio jack cables do their jobs and don’t see a reduction in audio quality on the speakers or fidelity on the mic when using longer cables.

The audio experience delivered is solid, and to the level expected of the drivers installed, but does get overshadowed by some more powerful options. I heard no noticeable difference in quality between speech, music, or gaming audio.

The microphone’s assuring click for mute-on, mute-off will save many a gamer from the paranoia of if they’re still on a live line, and its ability to adjust curvature both vertically from the arm and horizontally from the mic head solve any placement issues for best sound.

Though a plug in mic, the installment slot is no weak hold, and comes with a peg to reinforce the jack placement. All in all a solid purchase that would mainly be improved by more driver strength – no issues with comfort.

After taking my time more than the company would’ve liked me to take in order to give a propper honest review according to my experience while testing this product I have come to a conclusion. Rig 4VR is a very slick looking headset, very lightweight and comfortable to play for hours, you will not remember it is up there.

Straight out of the pack you are amazed and am not talking because I got it for free, but for real you like it, that bone shiny white color gives it a neat sexy attractive touch to the product. The design is all I look for in a headset, you have the comfort and sexy product features both in one.

Interface wise is plain simple to use and straight out of the box you will be using it in 30 seconds there is no science to it and that is a plus to it, no 10 feet cables and set ups to do. When it comes to performance is when the downside of this beautiful product comes out.

Definitely needs some improvements while playing sometimes I could her static or the sound would frequently break. Also the sould would stop coming and it would flow again and stop and so on which can be bothersome.

The product itself is very complete, is only missing a few touches in hardware and it would be an awesome product for the price it is sold. Touching it feels great and not cheap at all. The sound is very good aswell.

If it only was more reliable on the sound not breaking apart and giving problems this would be the headset i’d buy. For a great price you get a nice looking product that is not only simple but comfortable to use and you can bet it looks great in your head.

If it only performed as a headset should soundwise I would buy it with my eyes closed. I look forward to make this review a 5 star if the company imprives the sound quality a bit and the issues that come with the sound breaking apart while using it.

i have bought high priced headsets over the last few years. eg razer, logitec, Roccat, and logitec, and after only a couple of years they break on me or something goes wrong with them, so i thought i would try these ones out.

they fit nicely over the ears, not on top of them causing pressure on the ear, these ones don’t cause any discomfort at all. the sound quality is an even par with the other brands i have tried. overall im happy with their performance but it has only been a couple of years.

the only con i find is they dont cancel out the outside noise, but that can be a good thing too. for the price i am really happy with them and i would purchase them again.

I thought this would be terrible for the price however I have loved it! Amazing quality sounds feels great to wear for long periods especially in lockdown. Seeing as I am on gardening leave at present this is being well tested.

Also I play all console audio through headset instead of tv and the sounds are immense!.

When I bought these they arrived looked good, but the quality disappointed me. The microphone part you speak into fell apart within a few weeks. Couldn’t return as I threw the original packaging away.

This is a brilliant headset expecially considering its price. It is loud, has a braided cord and has never given me problems. Perfect for gamers

Sony’s latest headset offers all of the features of the most high end gaming headsets on the market, for less than 1/2 the price. But don’t pay more than $150 for this headset, it sells for $99. 99 brand new, while they are currently sold out just about everywhere, they are starting to get restocked more regularly, and with that, these sellers will start to bring their prices down to be more in line with what they should be.

Don’t give these scalpers your hard earned $$$ (or too much of it anyways, I understand if you have a PS5 and need a headset, this offers the best value up to around $175. ).

This headphone is a great replacement for my Playstation Platinum Wireless headset. Not that the Platinum headset was lacking, but the Pulse 3D headset is more comfortable to wear and is much lighter.

The Pulse 3D headset is a little lacking in strong bass tones, but gets the job done!.

It appears this compressor has been discontinued, and the central pneumatic name is slowly being phased out for other new products. When I was roaming around on the website a while back noticed it wasn’t listed anymore, and today via a email I got, I decided to browse the website to see what’s available, noticed it’s listed again, although it appears to just be in limited quantity most likely clearing out old in-store inventory.

If you sort from oldest reviews, it was hit or miss if you got a functioning unit, although a good portion of them were due to unit not running in low temperatures in which I didn’t have to worry about personally, and possibility some user error running it via extension cords – despite that since I was low on funds, I bought it anyway for a car restoration project I was working on.

I did do more than the owners manual stated for the break in procedure, I did the initial 30 minute break with the drain valve open ( I also put a fitting on the coupler so it couldn’t build up pressure), I also ended up replacing the oil an additional 2 more times for what I recall was a total of 1:30 minutes of runtime not letting the compressor build up pressure which yielded significant metal flake with every oil change.

That being said, here we are close to 10 years later, and it’s still working – from it’s initial purchase to restore a car (which is long gone by now), I’ve used it for airing up tires, blowing out the garage, running 3/8 & 1/2 impact guns, angle grinder (mower blade sharpening, bahia grass chews up blades, also refinishing my grill that was rusting, and cleaning up metal for welding), and within the last few months running a Lotos LTP5500D plasma cutter on short occasions.

Over it’s lifetime, It’s been stored in a hot & humid garage all this time, seen non use for months at a time were I’ve left it pressurized, and well, it’s never let me down. I honestly thought there was going to be a day I went to go use it, and it wouldn’t work, but that day hasn’t come yet, but at when it does I’ll use it as a auxiliary storage tank.

The only downside I’ve experienced is the regulator is leaking somewhere from the adjustment knob, in addition to it being very loud – other than that, I really can’t complain, for what I paid for it, it’s paid for itself many times over.

I took a chance on these headphones as they were on special and I needed a pair of gaming headphones. These were highly rated by most tech reviews – however I did read the reviews on this website that mentioned it not being for bigger heads.

Being of the big head (+ample hair) variety myself, I was pretty cautious about buying because of this. I don’t know if the other customers just didn’t realise how to properly adjust the headband strap or what, but I have had no problems with this fitting my head once I adjusted the strap – and I haven’t used up all of the strap.

Comfort is fine, even – and especially – for longer gaming sessions. There is a tonne of room in the earcups, too. Sound is really impressive. Low-mids in particular are great when listening to music.

I own and have owned several mid-high end headphones in the past, and these really measure up well. Very immersive for gaming where you can quickly work out which way a noise is coming from, and the DAC is handy for having a physical volume button next to my mouse that I can tweak.

Whether the DAC is actually worth it or not I can’t say, because I haven’t had a go without the DAC. I heartily recommend these headphones – big/medium/small heads alike.

Arctis comfort is unmatched by any other headset for my head shape. The mixer enables me to hear dual pc stream rig/game rig audio without having to spend a small fortune on a headset/mic/mixer/cables/attachments, much less the hassle and headache of setting all that up.

That being said I really wish the Steelseries engine software was more user friendly and allowed better control of the headsets audio/mic, really doesn’t seem like it changes much except simple audio eq and volume of your mic.

NO noise suppression, mic filters, or modes that allow you to control your mic output better. Mic is overly sensitive to the point it picks up music from downstairs in my house with my door closed, in an acoustic foam lined room, if I don’t hold my breath my teammates can hear my nose hairs tingling on exhalation, keyboard clicks are so loud that my teammates get a 3D asmr visualization of what exact key I’m hitting at that exact moment, the mic is so sensitive it can probably pick up what my neighbor is having for dinner.

Figured for the price of this thing would have better settings and control. But then again it is a cheap alternative compared to a whole mic/headrest/mixer/xlr for dual rig set up.
