The thing I like about Beats is that they are comfortable in your ears and they have a feature I like which is noise cancellation. They also come in different colorways and people get to choose which one they want.

They’re also smaller beats or bigger beats depending on what they prefer. I’ve had the product for years already and I enjoyed them. The thing I like about the beats is that they were comfortable in my ears and they sound very good.

The feature I liked about it is that they have noise cancellation on it which made listening to music for me even better. Some pros about the headphones beats is that they have noise cancelation which makes it better to listen to music.

Another pro is that you can choose the color of the beat you want and there are small and big headphones for people that rather have small or big headphones. A con about the headphones beats is that you have to be careful because they can crack and it leaves scratches easily.

I would recommend someone to get these headphones if you are working out and are outgoing but I am not for kids because they could easily break because of the material so I would recommend someone to get them if someone plays sports and trains or works out.

So far, so good. Love the crisp sound. Purchased them for the sale price of $179, so I cannot relate to the $350 price tag. I think the volume is perfect. Not overbearing at all even with the volume all the way up.

I think they are great at noise cancelling as I am not trying to drown out the world. These are my first pair of Beats, I’m not an audiophile, and I love music. After researching headphones, these are lower costing.

I’m not sure what people are expecting, but they seem to be good quality. Only time will tell as my daughter already got her hands on my headphones and I don’t want anyone touching them according to the other reviews.

But, I see ppl wearing them around their neck out and about. I’m trying to think positive and not treat them like glass. I hope they last longer than a few months.

I bought these for my teen for his birthday. They were new in box. I read other reviews saying they were used but that’s not what description says and his came new and in a sealed box with all the accessories.

They even smell new lol. I also read reviews about materials being cheap so I bought a three protection plan just in case. They are really nice, even the feel of them are nice. They come with a case as well.

My son is happy! The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancelling is insane even when you put them on with no sound. They fit great, no pressure on the head or ear but still feel secure. Amazing price as competitors had the camo for over three hundred, even when other colors were marked down.

I purchased these Beats EP wired headphones almost over a year ago. At the time, these were one of the cheaper models you could buy. I unfortunately did not do any research or look up reviews before purchasing them.

I wish I had. It states on the package that they are lightweight, comfortable, comes with a carrying case, adjustable earcups, control music with remote touch and you can manage calls with remote touch technology.

Unfortunately I don’t own the right kind of phone for the remote touch to work properly. I have an android S9. This is compatible with iPhones. I still can hook it up to my phone and listen to music, I just can’t control it with the remote or the phone call option.

Yes you can adjust the strap, but it does not fit as tight as I would of expected it to fit on me. I personally do not think these headphones are comfortable. Definitely not noise canceling either. The main issue I have with these Beats EP is the cord.

It is not wireless, and there is no easy way to store them without the chance of damaging the cord. When I looked up reviews, one of the biggest downfall was how the cord would break off. Yes it comes with its own carrying case, but if I were to bring these to work, I wouldn’t be able to store them in my backpack, purse or bag without worrying that I might break it.

The sound overall is the best feature on these headphones. The quality of the sound is very powerful and loud. You really hear every beat and all the bass. I love that about these Beats EP headphones.

If I were to purchase Beats again, I would definitely spend a little more money and upgrade to the wireless options. When I purchased these in the store, I was disappointed with the color options available.

I had white or black to choose from. I picked black because it shows less dirt and scuff marks.

This review is for the Beats Solo Wired On-Ear Headphones, I don’t think this is the exact one I selected but it’s the closest in description as the other Beats Solos are the version 2 and 3 wireless ones.

5 years of using it. ) The wire only lasts for 6 months before I had to find a replacement but I substituted with tape to keep it from breaking? I like to believe I take good care of it as I do have a larger case to place my headphones and earphones in their own compartment after using it to do work.

My friends own the gold Beats Solo 3 wireless one, and they’ve had it for about 2 years now and it looks fine. They seem happy with it but perhaps the company learned what went wrong with the first version I bought and made sure Beats Solo 3 wouldn’t be such a disaster.

The Beats EP headphones were not compatible with my iPhone SXMax. I used a brand new converter connector and when trying to use my customize controls, it kept telling me that they are not recognized and can use Beats compatible asessories.

I called Apple and they gave me a list of what is compatible with my iPhone SXMax. Beats Pro and Powerbeats Pro. etc. Beats EP will only work with older iPhones that have the direct plugin, not the flash plugin!! Now I have to pay to send this product back! I would imagine it is also for older iPad, as I tried it with my iPad also and it gave me the same message.

Therefore, I will be purchasing my Beats from another source. I have been a Fingerhut customer and cardholder for many years. They need to be better informed about compatibility and updating of their electronic products.

The amount of money Beats brings in you would think a little RD would be put towards better speakers. Hey who am to judge. Overall 2. 5/5. They look great, feel good for a few hours, but don’t plan on dropping your new mix tape with these.

These came nicely packaged. I like the fact that they fold. So easy to work, I was concerned because for some reason I couldn’t wrap my head around IR ready. Umm so easy, meaning if you can see that little red dot in the DVD player or the Cell phone etc.

they will work, haven’t tried them on anything but the DVD players in the car. Easy, put batteries on pick a channel and off you go. I like that they have 2 channels to choose from, two DVD players channel for each.

This is going to be great so I don’t have to listen to the movie I can’t see. Will update after the trip to let you know how they hold up as we are doing 4800 miles so they will get alot of use.

I can’t say anything bad about these headphones! The sound is crystal clear and the bass is astounding! I prefer Beats over any other earphone there is out there on the market. I can hook them up and watch movies on my tv through the Wi-Fi and have an amazing experience that’s all around me! Plus, they’re very comfortable and I have no issue wearing them for any extended period of time.

No problems here, except the covering over the ears has began to come apart from the sides where it’s tucked, but I’ll accept that after years of great use! Would recommend to anyone wanting fantastic sound and quality.

I purchased the Dre. Beats when they first came out. I got a package deal with the headphones and Dre. Beats laptop. Needless to say I’m pretty sure my neighbors hated me for the next few months. These headphones are awesome top notch quality.

If you enjoy a lot of bass you will love these. Very clear sounding no background static no matter how high you turn the volume up.

These headphones work great. My husband had the black one first and they unfortanitly stopped being able to charge after a month. We think it was his own fault. We got a second pair of the brown ones.

The base button is really nice. I really like how you can pick if you want a lot of base or a small amount. These headphone also get pretty loud. My husband loves music really loud and I can hear the music through the headphones when he is wearing them.

I was expecting a lot more from these headphones I bought them on sale for 179$ For Black Friday. Everyone told me to buy the Sony something 1000 which I did look into and with the research I did they were the better headphones but the beats studio 3 just had a better deal almost 100$ less.

Both headphones were both originally 350$. When I bought these I bought them for apples spatial audio like on my AirPods Pro. These headphones don’t have spatial audio even tho it says that they do on multiple websites that I researched from.

The Bass is really nice it sounds like my JBL flip 5. I bought these because my AirPods Pro hurt my ears. Compared to the AirPods Pro these have better bass and noise canceling. But they don’t have spatial audio and they also don’t have transparency mode.

I’m going to keep these headphones bug from the research I’ve done Sony 1000 something are better. They have transparency mode and spatial audio. Overall there is nothing wrong with the headphones and they aren’t bad but they are lacking features of most headphones in this price range.

Also they feel kind of cheap like they might break easy.

These headphones are amazing! I have mostly positive feelings for them. The positive: – They have incredible sound and the noise-canceling works well. – The color is very pretty, I was worried it would be too bright for my liking but they’re really pretty.

– The battery lasts a long time and it recharges quickly. – Even when you’re not listening to anything, they do a good job at keeping sounds out, so if you’re trying to focus or you’re sensitive to sounds, it’s really nice to just sit with them on.

The cons: – While they are comfortable at first, wearing them for long periods of time does start to hurt, after about an hour or two it becomes unbearable. – The headphones don’t give much warning when they’re about to die, other headphones I have had at least warn you a few minutes beforehand, but these will make a noise and then turn off right after, it’s a little inconvenient at times.

– It says it has two listening modes, but honestly, I hear no difference when I switch between them. – I’m not a fan of the way these turn on and off, I like sitting with my headphones on so random noises around me don’t bother me as much, but it’s a little frustrating that the headphones stay on and use up the battery life when you’re not actually listening to anything.

Overall, besides the minor annoyances I have with them, I think these are great headphones and well worth the price.

These are the best headphones I ever gotten, besides having Sony WF-1000XM3’s they are already wearing out and I had problems with them slipping out even when trying out multiple ear tips. I use these for biking, and let me say this, they stay on all the way, at first they might have a tight fit causing some ear pain or even above your head since these are more clamped than the solo 3’s, yes I also had solo 3’s before but they break apart 2 years ago.

I have a road bike and ride aggressively, and no matter what these stay on, no slips at all, although it’s more effective when you’re wearing a hat rather than just wearing none since it grips more. Noise cancellation: let me just say they are great l, I was honestly underestimating these over my WF-1000xm3’s but the beats were better, even when riding my bike around the island it cancels out noise by a lot, from passing cars to wind resistance, although you still can hear them a bit but it’s totally silent when volume is on mid to max.

Beside noise cancellation these headphones have great passive noise cancelling due to the higher clamp these have over the solo 3’s even for over ears these are awesome. Transparency mode: they are ehh okay, it’s not as effective as my wf xm3’s, but they do work.

I use this mode a lot especially at home or when I’m with family and friends so I can hear them and listen to music at the same time, and not having to take them off every time I need to listen. Although I would have to drop volume to low cause mid to max isn’t very effective, still it’s okay or decent.

Battery life: way better than any of my previous headsets I’ve had over the years. I bike from 4 to sometimes 6 hours a day and from 99 percent it’s usually down to 74 or 50, I’ve never had these due on me since I never used them 24/7.

Remind you I always have ANC on every time I use this, or sometimes transparency mode, still these last very long. Also they do charge very fast, I honestly don’t have to worry about it dying on me. Build quality: These are solid, it feels more premium than the solo 3’s I had or the Sony earbuds I’ve had.

I’ve had incidents were I would scratch them a lot since these do stick out a lot, even with that I haven’t noticed any deep to major scratches on these, there are some but it isn’t noticeable. Honestly I feel like these would survive a fall or when I ever do get into an accident when riding my bike, although it’s a night though, that’s how confident I am with the build on these solo pro’s.

Also I sweat a lot. Comfort: it’s meh, at first. It was painful when I first had them because of how hard they clamped against your ears, but I got use to it, still I get the pain but you might be able to get over it.

The memory foam earcups are great though. Overall the best headsets I’ve ever own, everyone might have different experiences with them, but for me they’re awesome.

I have been shopping for a good pair of headphones recently after my old ones died. I first tried the Beats Solo3 (purchased elsewhere). They were nice looking, felt comfortable, but the sound was “meh”.

I did some research online and found these Solo Pro as a higher level option PLUS they were on sale so decided to take a shot. Here are the PRO’s and CON’s PRO 1) Walmart. com said it would deliver to my home the following day, and it did.

Outstanding. FAST! 2) This is a very nice looking pair of headphones – I got the black. Definitely more premium looking than the Solo3. 3) The sound was MUCH better than the Solo3. It was nearly as good as some higher end headphones I’ve listened to.

Definitely one of the best Beats headphones I’ve heard. CONS 1) There really is only one “con”, but it was enough for me to return them. They are very VERY tight on your head. I’m sure this has a lot to do with making the noise canceling work well and get a good seal on your head – but I have a large head (I know this from buying caps), and they were extremely uncomfortable in a short time.

Additionally, because they were so tight on my ears – it actually muffled the sound. If I lifted them a hair off my ears, the sound was much louder! If I could have adjusted them to that width, I would have kept them without question.

I rated them 4 stars because they really are nice, but had to take away 1 star for the lack of comfort. If you have a smaller head, these might work great for you.

Audio quality is what i expected – pretty good, it’s enough for me even that i am semi audiophile, like a little bit haha. I wanted to give this 4 stars because the headphones are not comfortable for longer periods of time to use it especially if you wear eyeglasses! When I touch headphones and when I am putting them on my head I can feel that the quality of the material which was used for them is not the best, it doesnt feel like they are strong and will most likely break in the future.

But i got rid of another star here and gave just 3, because i just bought headphones today and the cord is broken. Its obviously a new original cord. First i had the problem that the left side of the headphones didnt work, i tried to connect with a same cord but i changed different ends to each hesdphones and my mp3 player, i mean i just tried to connect different ends to different devices and it worked wonders.

Well i thought it did. But i think the left side of the headphones is still playing little bit more silent then the right side, but when im listening with both sides st the same time i just cant feel the difference.

If i move the cord 360 degrees around, the sound in the left side disappears again. Well im happy that the cord is fixed to the headphones pretty well and it doesnt loosely move while walking and doing stuff while listening for the music.

And that means the sound is not distorted by that, because i would have gave only 1 star if that was the case. I think and i hope that its just a broken cord, because if the headphones were broken it wouldnt work with neither end of the cable, but i just bought new headphones and i will have to look for a new cord already and i cant find any in elkjop page.

If it ends up that the headphones are actually faulty here, i will use my guarantee to fix them or to give it back to elkjop and i will edit this to 1 star then.

Quite good sound quality. Strong bass with excellent clarity and no static at all. It has sound effects that give you the impression that you can hear noises coming from all around you, seemingly in all directions, at varied tempos and pitches.

My only problem was that they quit retaining a charge after a few months of use and could only be used using an auxiliary connection. When you put these on, all background noise is blocked. They are also quite comfy.

They are excellent at blocking out noise. I mostly use them when I’m studying and I find that I accomplish more with them on.

As soon as you put them on you can’t hear a thing but the music playing and the bass sounds great! I wouldn’t personally wear these walking outside because you can’t hear anything but whatever you’re listening too.

So definitely be careful when using these outside. Purchased these for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift and he loves them! I had a full conversation with him and he didn’t hear a thing I said he only saw my mouth moving lol.

The headphones also come with a nice case.

It can be somewhat confusing when comparing the Samson SR450’s with the SR550’s. Looking at them online, or side by side in their almost identical boxes and photos, one may spot the $10 price difference on the tag, but easily overlook the one thing that actually makes them different.

Their descriptions are identical: Dynamic detailed audio, closed back design, 40mm drivers with rare earth magnets, wide frequency range, cushioned ear cups and head band. SO WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE, you ask? The difference is in the fine print.

Just ONE little word. One little word that can easily be missed by anybody looking to purchase this item. The difference is ON-ear vs. OVER-ear. That is all. The SR450’s are on-ear, the 550’s are over-ear.

Everything else is the same. So before you grab a box in store or click to buy online and make sure you know the one little word that makes a big difference. SR450 vs. SR550. bigger number, bigger price tag = bigger ear cup.

The build quality was very disappointing the moment I took it out of its box; very plastic. The cable was thin and feels like its gonna rip. The moment I listened to them, it was full of bright and loud highs, too much for my young ears that I had to lower the treble because it was hurting my ears.

But on the good side, the bass was deep and good. You could hear every instrument and detail of your music like never before. I recommend using them at home and lower the highs.

You can no beat this quality at this price. These are the headphones I now use to test keyboards at work, which the 1/8″ to 1/4″ adapter makes simple. Clear high end without sounding whiny, full bass response without distortion and a great over-all balance in the sound.

Some headphones at this price point seem to pull your ears certain directions with different frequencies. These keep everything comfortably centered. If you’re looking for a simple pair of headphones that won’t break the bank, these are the ones for you.

The Samson Z35 cans just work. Great. Sound is fantastic. Clean, flat, but powerful. kinda hard to explain. Deep bass extension, crystal clear high-mids to high, clean, sparkling treble. No spikes, no surprises anywhere.

Very real presence, convincing sound stage. Fit is very comfortable, real leather earpieces, they don’t get hot & sweaty at all (so far – been listening to ambient/trance for about an hour). Very efficient, 40 mm drivers, 32 ohms, so they crank.

Which I’ve done, and they do not break up or lose definition. Excellent, durable materials, fit & construction. Tasteful, “smoked” chrome accents. These cans are very portable – they fold up in a nice, tight bundle.

Not much to look at, but they’re very deceptive. because they deliver so much, sonically. Includes 1/8″ – 1/4″ gold adapter and pleather pouch. 2 year warranty. The ultimate pair of “sleeper” cans if there ever were.

Get them. You will not be disappointed.

I was previously using a brand that is popular with athletes and rappers. I never owned a fancy pair of headphones before, but I was sure that this particular brand was hot because of hype. The Samsons were given to me as a gift by my wife, and I immediately compared them with the other set.

After about a month of listening I can say that the other brand is all hype. They are bass heavy, but not in a good way. Compared to these, they seem muddy. The Samson give a clear and balanced sound, which gives the user more power when using an EQ.

The other brand would get line distortion, which I haven’t experienced with the Samsons yet. The Samsons are more comfortable when using them for long periods. I use these when I’m mixing recordings and when I listen to music.

I’d say if you’re going to shop around, give these a listen and compare before you buy a brand that’s twice the price and half the quality.

He told me they were “okay”, so I returned my pretty rose gold ones because I wasn’t keeping an “okay” set for over $300! I then listened to his 1 week or 2 later and was upset to find them way better than “okay”! They had excellent sound! I was upset with myself for not trying them out before returning mine.

However, shortly after the warranty expired, they snapped he could no longer use them. He decided to buy a cheaper pair for his next set.

They charge relatively quickly (about an hour or so I think, I’ve never timed it) and they last a long time before they need to be recharged (at least 6 hours, maybe more). They’re comfortable, made with high-quality material, will stay put on your head while at the gym.

All this being said, you may be able to find quality just as good in another brand of headphones for slightly less money, but if you care about brand loyalty or just don’t want to do the research, these are great.

IšverstiShow in original languageThese are my first pair of overhead headphones. They are truly noise cancelling. I mostly wear them to the gym and running outside. The sound quality is amazing. I like that they actually connect to your phone and have the light indication for the battery level.

The battery can last me a week if I got to the gym 3 days out the week for an hour each time. I just have to give them a good cleaning if I had sweated doing my workout. Charging time is very fast.

I work third shift, and I stayed awake for an extra 3 hours just to receive this product. I love my sleep, but Im so thankful I stayed up. It was WELL worth the wait. It has AMAZING noise canceling abilities.

I just put them on with no music, and you could immediately hear the different. I will be very excited to use these around campus, where lots of sounds go on (people, mowers, plows, etc). 10/10 headphones.

A bit pricey, but for what I paid for them, I am beyond happy.

If you’re continuously listening to music (Especially Bass heavy music): I would greatly consider getting these. As an “Audiophile”, the Beats seem to have more color and a heavier sound when it comes to numerous amounts of songs.

Personally, I choose these over Air-pods when it comes to listening to music. The only downside with the Studio Buds is the noise transparency quality compared to Apple’s Air-pods pro. Apple did some kind of witch craft to make sure the transparency with their pro headphones were so good, that if feels like there’s nothing in your ear and you don’t have to take one or both buds off to listen to someone if they’re talking to you.

Beats studio buds noise transparency feature isn’t the best. It’s better to have these guys in noise cancelling mode. Because in transparency mode: it just sounds like a lot of air or wind going through your ear.

Taking away the main focal point of listening to your surroundings as clear as possible. Nevertheless: I prefer to listen to music on the beats due to the heavier bass and color I noticed within the music.

Plus, having them in noise cancellation mode 100% of the time isn’t bad especially if you don’t wanna be bothered. Buy them. They’re worth it.

I have a hearing disability and after trying Dr Dre Beats Pro I was able to enjoy my music again! I could understand every word perfectly as never before! I was so ecstatic I bought another pair, and in the process of purchasing a 3rd set so I am never w/o them available to me.

I do have a problem with sensitivity on the outer edge of my ears and after about an hour my ears wil bother me. But I just remove them for a brief time, rub my ears and can enjoy them again! Beware that you only purchase Dr Dre Pro as others will not produce that perfect quality.

I bought what were the best Bose and there was no comparison to Dr Dre Pro! When looking to purchase make sure you see the word Pro emblem on the side of headphones, as some are advertised as pro and are not! I am in love with my headphones and recommend them highly!.
