20 Best Headphones For Binaural Beats (2023 Updated)

I’ve always liked the way beats looked and have wanted a pair for quite sometime, so when I saw them on sale for $99 it was a no brainer and I immediately bought a pair. The matte black, although a fingerprint and smudge magnet, looks extremely nice.

They feel really well built and fit snug on the head. The battery life is excellent as well. However, after about an hour of having them on I did find that I tended to adjust them a lot as they sort of pinch your ears down.

I ultimately ended up returning these because the sound quality is…pretty underwhelming. Besides having better bass, they really don’t sound much better than a pair of AirPods to me. I also wish they came in a hard shell case, but that’s just my preference.

Also, I really like the feature where on iPhones, Siri will read text messages to you while you have your headphones in. It’s a super nice feature if your hands are full and unfortunately these headphones aren’t compatible with that feature.

The W1 chip is also a tad outdated, which makes me think these should always be in the $80-90 range. I’d say if you really want a pair, get them, but only if on sale and don’t expect the greatest sound quality.

These are my workout must have’s. Am probably OCD about the gym, lifting 3 to 5 times a week. Hike 7 to 20 miles a day also. These jaunts are far more enjoyable with Dre Beats 3 wireless headphones. I’ve had them for months now, and these are a cinch to pair to the iPhone.

Also they show on the display, how much battery is left. These durable headphones are comfortable, and can withstand any weather I’ve thrown their way. To clean off the sweat, I recommend a bit of alcohol and water.

The battery is close to 40 hours on one charge. I’d say 35 to 38 hours, is more realistic but I am known for being rough on equipment. Charge time is fast too. Included with these is a cord, that connects to your laptops USB drive.

Connecting them is easy. What impresses me most is how comfortable these are, especially to inside the ears audio devices that can be inferior to these. The Dre Beats are a well conceived item. Dr Dre has done great, and these also are sold at Apple stores.

I got mine at an electronics store. Sure they were expensive, but for all I use them for, i consider a worthwhile purchase. Noise canceling is quite good, but where these shine is sound quality. The bass is remarkable.

Best I’ve heard yet with headphones. I find these very comfortable on my scalp and ears, and all of the controls are intuitive. A great purchase, plus they have a zip up bag to put them in. This is actually high quality too, and will keep your headphones stored until the next time.

I bought these on John Lewis back in 2020. I’ve left it awhile before reviewing, so I can give an honest review, with plenty of use, rather than reviewing right away. Pros: The sound quality is very clear & crisps, with a good ammount of bass.

They look good, I chose matt black, they’re stylish. I pair them with my android smart phone, I’ve also used them with my TV. No issues what so ever and the Bluetooth range is good. The battery life is great, they last for hours, which you can’t get from smaller headphones.

Cons: The band can sometimes feel restrictive, but I understand they are tight fitting (so they don’t keep slipping down) But after prolonged use, it can feel alittle uncomfortable & after a while you do get damp ears.

Overall BEATS SOLO 3 are a good wireless option. They don’t look huge and fold up compact in their own storage bag. I like to try the new ‘BEATS fot Pro True Wireless’ Earpods to do a true comparison of the two, at some point.

I’ve had these for about two years now and I love them. The sound is great and they pair to devices easily. Beats are owned by Apple but they work well with Androids too. The battery last forever and they charge extremely fast.

There are a lot of reviews saying that they are uncomfortable. That they sit on their ears instead of over them, and they hurt after a while. These are NOT over the ear headphones. Some people think they are and are disappointed when they get them.

They sit on your ear and after using them for a while your ears do hurt. They are also kind of tight, so if you have a sensitive head (like me) these could give you headaches after a long use. (If you want over the ear headphones I suggest the studios.

I have a pair and they are great. ) I also saw reviews saying that the pads on the headphones fell off after less than a year, so they had to buy new Beats. Yes the pads do wear down after a while, but you can buy new ones.

You can get them on Amazon for like 10 bucks and you apply them yourself. It’s very simple. You don’t need to buy a new pair of Beats if this happens. Because they are on the ear headphones they are smaller and more compact.

They are great for traveling because they don’t take up much space. They block out people and ambient noises, but they won’t block out loud noises. (Like an airplane)I don’t know if they’re worth the price, but they are great headphones.

I like them and would buy another pair.

**HERE’S THE PROBLEM~ The charging port strips out even if you are perfect! And i was flaweless witht he 2nd & 3rd pair. 3rd pair broke and i shipped em out to get the charging port replaced for $60 and got a high end port.

But wife also got me a plug plug that stays in the heapdhone port and the chord charges just by touch. A friend also had this problem with his beats. Worst charging method ever! Be very VERY gentle when you charge them.

get the ‘Magnetic charging cable’ The plug stays in the headphones and avoids this problem by 1/2. ~As far as theheadphones go i love them. I sync em to my TV and watch movies & game with them. Unless i need a headset becaus eyou can’t talk with them on Xbox/ps4.

So if you have stripped out PS4 or xbox controllers with this style of port= avoid as The Beats have a very cheap charging port.

The Beats Studio 3’s have many features with the main one being noise-cancellation. The noise-cancellation feature allows you to listen to whatever you want, without outside noises interfering. The Beats are also over-ear headphones that help with comfortability.

It has up to 40 hours of battery life with noise-cancellation off and up to 22 hours with it on. These headphones are Bluetooth, but can connect with a cord also. I’ve had a great experience with these headphones.

I was in the market for some bluetooth over-the-ear headphones to use with my MBP, mainly for video editing, net browsing, and listening to music/pods. Once I saw these on sale all the way down to $169.

95 I had to give them a chance versus the Sony and Bose bluetooth wireless competitors, which retailed for much more. Overall I really like them. I’m not an audiophile so I’m not a perfectionists about the preciseness of music, which I still think sounds very good on the Studio3’s.

They are light and don’t feel overbearing on my head/ears. Material seems like decent to good quality, not cheap in my opinion. Love how easily they connect to my MBP, one of the reasons I also pulled the trigger.

Also connect effortlessly to my iPhone if I ever decide to use them on the go. My only complaint is the Studio3’s cause some slight discomfort on my ears after long use. Nothing that makes me regret my purchase, and it may vary with each user (since everyone’s ears are different).

Other than that, I think they were a steal at $170, when they used to go for well over $300 IIRC. I’d definitely recommend them to someone looking for every day use BT over the ear phones.

I was expecting a lot more from these headphones I bought them on sale for 179$ For Black Friday. Everyone told me to buy the Sony something 1000 which I did look into and with the research I did they were the better headphones but the beats studio 3 just had a better deal almost 100$ less.

Both headphones were both originally 350$. When I bought these I bought them for apples spatial audio like on my AirPods Pro. These headphones don’t have spatial audio even tho it says that they do on multiple websites that I researched from.

The Bass is really nice it sounds like my JBL flip 5. I bought these because my AirPods Pro hurt my ears. Compared to the AirPods Pro these have better bass and noise canceling. But they don’t have spatial audio and they also don’t have transparency mode.

I’m going to keep these headphones bug from the research I’ve done Sony 1000 something are better. They have transparency mode and spatial audio. Overall there is nothing wrong with the headphones and they aren’t bad but they are lacking features of most headphones in this price range.

Also they feel kind of cheap like they might break easy.

I had the opportunity to try these and the new Beats Fit Pros (aka, beats airpods pro without a stem and with the “wings” to lock on your ears), and ultimately I went with the Fit Pros, ANC, ease of use and most importantly, ear seal weighed on that decision.

Prior to the Fit Pros being released, I wanted to get one of these Powerbeats badly, as the Airpod Pros (which I also own) keep trying to slide/escape my ears whenever I put them on, I decided to go with something that would ease my anxiety so I’d stop looking like a cat in grooming overdrive caused by falling $100-replacement-per-pod Airpods Pro and just enjoy some music and move freely.

Then, once I got the Powerbeats, I understood why people highly recommended them – it’s not studio level sound quality (wireless should be a dead giveaway on that), but for the money it’s decent, my only problem with these were the ear tips, and they have 4 different sizes! None of them provided a good seal, either being too small, or too big for my canal, and I don’t want to enlarge my ear canal to hear even more bad news, so thank you.

But other than my personal fitment issues, controls were fairly easy to use, easy to set them on a charging case, and to adjust the arc that goes over your ear. Another problem though was the charging case, I got too spoiled by my Airpod Pros and wanted something pocketable, this isn’t it.

Build quality is better than the one for the Fit Pros, especially the Airpod pro-style hinges, but this is bigger than a personal wifi hotspot, arguably thicker than a nicely padded walled (with cards and cash) so not something you can throw into any pocket.

All in all, I’d recommend it if you don’t care for noise cancellation, charging case size AND you have an abundance of lightning cables around. If money is no object to you, and like myself you want a drama free gym experience with better features (even though it doesn’t pack the punch these ones do on bass), and all in a small case that almost fit the coin pocket of your jeans, get the Fit Pros.

There Powerbeats are good but not great, especially for the price. Frankly, I’m a bit disappointed. First, the good points. I very much prefer having earhooks on my earbuds and these work nicely and are comfortable.

I considered getting Apple AirPods but they aren’t available with earhooks. I like the Powerbeats compact size. The controls are very well thought out and I also like that they’re the same on both buds so I can use either hand.

Furthermore, it’s great that the buds can be used one at a time instead of only both. This is helpful for maintaining ambient awareness when exercising outdoors because there’s nothing in one ear. Now for the not so good things about these Powerbeats.

The bass leaves much to be desired. The highs and mid-ranges are quite good but not stellar. Another problem with them is that there’s no feedback when placing them in the case to charge to assure the buds have good contact with the contacts in the case.

As a result, I recently took them with me to my car dealer to use while waiting to get my vehicle serviced and only one was charged. Very annoying. Now, when placing them in the case, I jiggle each bud to assure it’s solidly in contact with the case’s contacts.

I don’t think the Powerbeats justify the high price. They’d be a decent purchase if they were on sale for at least $50 less, but not they’re MSRP.

I purchased these headphones to use while running. They have been fantastic for listening to music while on the run. I love the charging case & iPhone compatibilities. The color is nice as well. Overall, a good product & a fantastic update over my previous wired Apple headphones.

Few issues: 1. Several people have commented that they can’t hear me properly when using the mic on these headphones. Would not recommend to use if you will be speaking to people frequently on these.

2. You can easily misalign the headphone within the charging case. If the earbud isn’t properly contacting the two contact points within the case, it will not charge. Difficult to easily tell if it is charging.

3. The headphones don’t have amazing noise cancellation. I work out in a gym where folks are playing volleyball (loudly) and I have to turn up the volume quite a bit before I can hear my music through these ear buds.

4. The carrying case is bulky & slippery. When compared against the air pods case, it is ridiculously large. Even accounting for the ear loops, I think the design could be streamlined further. As a woman, the case rarely fits in any pockets.

I find myself carrying just the earbuds separately in my pocket on the way to the gym.

My honest review (please read till the end for the tragic part) to help anyone on the fence about the powerbeats pro earbuds is that the sound is very impressive. I’ll clarify by saying it is true that the bass is not felt in your eardrum but the audio comes out very clear.

So if you value audio clarity then these are great. As far as comfort these are the only earbuds that I can wear for 9 hours without having any discomfort. I have owned several other brands including Apple pros and Bose so that is no small feat.

The battery life is phenomenal because I can actually listen to music, atleast on a moderate volume level for the full nine hours. Even better that I usually only have one in so when it dies I just switch ears and the discharged one will charge fully in 30 mins no problem.

Now for the tragic downfall and reason for the low rating. I bought mine new through att and now after the 1 year warranty has expired neither one of my earbuds stay connected for more than 45 seconds.

This is to my phone, a friends phone of another brand, my laptop, or any other device I have tried. I have been through every forum and tried every procedure to remedy this but to no avail. Unfortunately these are apparently only made to last around a year and then will be useless.

I’m not sure if this is an Apple problem or just because I purchased them through AT&T but either way it is a major disappointment and a complete failure to provide us consumers with a quality product we spent so much money on.

Do not purchase these unless you only need them for 1 year because that is about all they will last.

I expected so much better from John Lewis. It’s not a coincidence that so many buyers have had the same issues. It’s poor design, and very poor customer service. I’ve seen many negative reviews on these headphones and would echo everyone else’s concerns! I paid extra for the Protect+ plan.

The headphones worked well for the first year, but after that both headphones wouldn’t sync and I would continually have to put them back into the box, then back in my ears 4-5 times before they would work again.

Gradually noticed the battery life wasn’t working so well after charging it would show the red light after 1 hour or so, or sometimes immediately. Eventually they didn’t connect at all, so I took them to the store to be repaired/replaced.

I have only ever used these headphones for walking (I don’t use them in the gym) but even if I did they should still be fit for purpose as advertised “sweat & water resistant”. When I received the headphones back unrepaired (even though it said in the letter ‘repaired’) I realised they weren’t working.

When I called JL Protect+ I was accused of ‘cosmetic, malicious and deliberate damage because they were water damaged’. I explained they had never been deliberately water damaged. I’m surprised at how poorly John Lewis have handled this dispute as well as many others.

They are usually a reputable company, but I am extremely disappointed in them not honouring their warranty when the item is clearly not fit for purpose, despite it falsely being advertised as so. Clearly these headphones are not designed for their purpose and therefore I urge JL to discontinue this product to avoid disappointing further customers!.

I bought my navy Powerbeats pro about 16 months ago, and they’re still my favorite headphones I’ve ever had. I will often use one at a time when I’m out walking or doing household chores so that I can still hear my surroundings through the other ear.

They also auto-pause music when taken out of your ear (ex. To talk to someone). I read reviews before purchasing that recommended swapping out the earbud size for the smallest one (provided in package).

I did, and that helped tremendously with ear fatigue. I can regularly go 5-6 hours before my ears start to feel uncomfortable. The over-the-ear section has never once been uncomfortable, even while eating glasses.

I’ve also never had them fall out of my ear, no matter what I was doing. My mask sometimes gets caught in the ear-loop section when I try to take it off, but that’s not an issue most the time I’m wearing them.

Battery life is great as well, and I have only had them die on me when I have used them for 5-6 hours straight. When they start to get low (they beep at you), I’ll take one out and start charging it in the case.

By the time the first one dies, I’ll have another couple hours of battery in the charging one. As for sound, I’ll be honest I’m not super picky, but it sounds great to me! When I have used them on phone calls, I have never gotten complaints about nearby noise, and people have always been able to hear me well.

While these block out some sound by the nature of having headphones in, there is no active noise cancellation like in the AirPods Pro. Another thing to note is that the charging case is not compatible with wireless charging devices, so you will need to plug it in to charge it.

The case is usually good for 2-3 full charges of the headphones before it also needs to be recharged. The case is also larger than AirPods cases (about the size of my palm), so I don’t usually bring it with me when using the Powerbeats pro.

TLDR; great headphones, even a year in. Would recommend to anyone wanting a nice pair of wireless headphones and are worried about them falling out of their ear. Pros: convenience, comfort, durability, battery life, stays in ear Cons: no wireless charging, case is large, no active noise cancellation.

These headphones are amazing! I have mostly positive feelings for them. The positive: – They have incredible sound and the noise-canceling works well. – The color is very pretty, I was worried it would be too bright for my liking but they’re really pretty.

– The battery lasts a long time and it recharges quickly. – Even when you’re not listening to anything, they do a good job at keeping sounds out, so if you’re trying to focus or you’re sensitive to sounds, it’s really nice to just sit with them on.

The cons: – While they are comfortable at first, wearing them for long periods of time does start to hurt, after about an hour or two it becomes unbearable. – The headphones don’t give much warning when they’re about to die, other headphones I have had at least warn you a few minutes beforehand, but these will make a noise and then turn off right after, it’s a little inconvenient at times.

– It says it has two listening modes, but honestly, I hear no difference when I switch between them. – I’m not a fan of the way these turn on and off, I like sitting with my headphones on so random noises around me don’t bother me as much, but it’s a little frustrating that the headphones stay on and use up the battery life when you’re not actually listening to anything.

Overall, besides the minor annoyances I have with them, I think these are great headphones and well worth the price.

The Beats Solo Pros are solid headphones, however the sound isn’t quite worth the hype I’ve heard about them. I was able to snag this pair on Black Friday for $50 dollars less than retail, which to be honest, I’m kind of glad I did.

The headphones feel solid, appear to be of good construction and have a decent weight to them unlike some other brands I’ve purchased in the past which can feel flimsy or cheap. This model will only work via Bluetooth however and lack the 3.

5mm jack which comes on the Solo 3 headphones, which is also kind of disappointing for being the “Pro” version. These phones do however have ANC (active noise canceling) which the Solo 3 does not. The ANC works pretty well, but don’t expect complete silence with it on.

They are an on-ear style and despite the very nice faux leather on the earcups, they will get very hot and itchy after a short while which was probably my biggest let down to be completely honest. I would say the sound from these are decent, nice and clear with mild bass.

However I have found better sound with other brands that can be had for about half of the price. They are nice headphones, yes, but to be clear they haven’t changed the game or lived up to all of the hype I’ve seen and heard about them over the years.

These are the best headphones I ever gotten, besides having Sony WF-1000XM3’s they are already wearing out and I had problems with them slipping out even when trying out multiple ear tips. I use these for biking, and let me say this, they stay on all the way, at first they might have a tight fit causing some ear pain or even above your head since these are more clamped than the solo 3’s, yes I also had solo 3’s before but they break apart 2 years ago.

I have a road bike and ride aggressively, and no matter what these stay on, no slips at all, although it’s more effective when you’re wearing a hat rather than just wearing none since it grips more. Noise cancellation: let me just say they are great l, I was honestly underestimating these over my WF-1000xm3’s but the beats were better, even when riding my bike around the island it cancels out noise by a lot, from passing cars to wind resistance, although you still can hear them a bit but it’s totally silent when volume is on mid to max.

Beside noise cancellation these headphones have great passive noise cancelling due to the higher clamp these have over the solo 3’s even for over ears these are awesome. Transparency mode: they are ehh okay, it’s not as effective as my wf xm3’s, but they do work.

I use this mode a lot especially at home or when I’m with family and friends so I can hear them and listen to music at the same time, and not having to take them off every time I need to listen. Although I would have to drop volume to low cause mid to max isn’t very effective, still it’s okay or decent.

Battery life: way better than any of my previous headsets I’ve had over the years. I bike from 4 to sometimes 6 hours a day and from 99 percent it’s usually down to 74 or 50, I’ve never had these due on me since I never used them 24/7.

Remind you I always have ANC on every time I use this, or sometimes transparency mode, still these last very long. Also they do charge very fast, I honestly don’t have to worry about it dying on me. Build quality: These are solid, it feels more premium than the solo 3’s I had or the Sony earbuds I’ve had.

I’ve had incidents were I would scratch them a lot since these do stick out a lot, even with that I haven’t noticed any deep to major scratches on these, there are some but it isn’t noticeable. Honestly I feel like these would survive a fall or when I ever do get into an accident when riding my bike, although it’s a night though, that’s how confident I am with the build on these solo pro’s.

Also I sweat a lot. Comfort: it’s meh, at first. It was painful when I first had them because of how hard they clamped against your ears, but I got use to it, still I get the pain but you might be able to get over it.

The memory foam earcups are great though. Overall the best headsets I’ve ever own, everyone might have different experiences with them, but for me they’re awesome.

This is my first set of wireless earbuds and I’m glad to put in some homework before buying this one. It has good water resistance (yes, including sweat) and excellent sound. My main concern was not only about water, but also such tiny pieces popping out of my ears and dropping them, which happened often with wired earbuds no matter the size due to sweat.

The loops around the ears helped tremendously with that problem and I only need to readjust! It also took me some time to readjust from having a device around my neck to my ears along with using just 2 buttons and I’m satisfied with what it can do so I don’t have to go to my phone past the basic play-pause-back-forward and volume settings.

To clarify: the “b” is the button to use for (one click) play and pause, (two clicks) forward, (three clicks) back and the button resting on top of the earbud and before the ear loop is the volume. *I hope that last one is clear enough.

* The last I wanted to cover is battery life and oh, boy! I LOVE the fact the earbuds themselves last up to 9 hours and the case adding another 15 hours which last me 2 or 3 days of use before charging (average of about 8 hours of use per day).

It’s overall a double thumbs-up from me!.

I really contemplated purchasing these Beats, would the high price deliver a better quality sound and experience? I was limited in options because I need the over the ear loop. Unfortunately these are something you can’t go to the store and try out and compared (I tried but wouldn’t let me open any).

Overall they are OK but probably not worth the extra cost over cheaper competitors. The sound quality is OK (initially extremely disappointed but allowed a longer break in period and sound improved to satisfactory).

Interestingly pale in comparison to the really cheap $40 generic brand set my wife purchased from Amazon-only issue with those is going in ear and I need over the ear for my workouts. I was hoping Beats brand would not have other annoying issues compared to cheaper brands like pairing Bluetooth.

So far they have failed to pair 3 times which has been rather annoying; doing nothing different those times that I can think of. Nothing worse then getting ready to hit the gym and fussing around getting them to pair (even had to Forget Bluetooth and redo completely last time) standing in the locker room wasting time.

They do come with multiple size tips and the smallest fit best. Overall my main criteria was comfort, convenience, and sound quality. They are comfortable and stay in place with workouts. Sound quality is adequate but I expected better.

BT pairing issues a pain. Conclusion: they are OK, good investment if they prove durable. Not worth retail price. Thankfully I paid 10% less but that’s still over priced. If you have the opportunity to try other brands my guess is you’ll find you get as good of experience for less money.

Over paying by 20% for the brand name.

So, I have 2 very noisy kids who throw their bodies through space and smash, crash, and bash into each other all day, every day, and I bought these headphones to preserve my sanity, listen to music, and question my life’s decisions while I move about the house/garden etc.

When I tell you these cancel all the noise in my life and let me jam to my tunes uninterrupted?! Magic. The world becomes quiet, and it’s just me and my tunes y’all. They are comfortable on the ears, and I wear glasses as well, so extra points there, and found it super easy to wear them for 5+ hours (could have felt comfortable longer tho!).

I love that they charge super fast, and turn on and connect automatically to my iPhone when I open the ear phones from their folded position. Excellent! If you’re deciding between the cheaper beats solo, or investing in the solo pro, I recommend the solo pro (I’ve had both now).

Waaay better sound, sound cancelling, functionality, charging speed, comfort (with and without glasses on), and easy blue tooth connection. No question – the solo pro is superior and worth the investment!.

I received these 3 years ago as a gift and they were nice. I did realize they were very different from the solos and other styles in sound quality. It’s not bad, but if you want a louder and more base experience these aren’t the ones to get.

The cord also does not come off being there is no Bluetooth. I didn’t like that once they mess up as far as the ear pads or cord you are done. No more beats Ep unless you have some tech skills and can fix them that is if you didn’t purchase insurance on them.

I got a pair of these and I was a bit disappointed. For the price, I was expecting better sound quality. I also have a pair of Bose on ear headphones and the sound from the Bose are far superior! Not only that but when the headband on my beats broke (1 month after I had them) I contacted the company and was told that it was not covered under their warranty.

They are great. They are noise canceling and the headphones are very loud and clear. They are great quality. I recommend this to many people. It’s very clear and loud. You can put them up to high volume and the speakers will still not have blown.

These things are absolutely fantastic! I use earbuds extensively for work and travel. I was an avid AirPods used, loved them, but battery in one started going out, so it was time for a new pair. I wanted to upgrade, nearly pulled the trigger on the AirPods Pro but then came across these for cheaper.

Beats has been a solid brand for years, I’ve never owned any of them, so figured I would branch out and explore something new. After reading tons of reviews and comparisons between these and the AirPods Pro’s, these were winning out, so I took the plunge.

I’ve had them for 3 months now, and never looked back! Not gonna lie, it did take me a few days to get used to these versus the AirPods. The feel in your ear is different and I really had to experiment with the different sized tips and settings to hone in the overall experience to my liking.

But once I got through that, they have been solid performers. All day concalls, music while traveling, exercising, or listening to what I want on roadtrips so my wife doesn’t complain. these things have stood up to everything.

The bass is excellent, not overwhelming in my opinion (but depends on what app you use to listen and what EQ settings you use), the overall sound clarity is great, and the noise cancelling quality is excellent (better than I expected, was skeptical it would be very good in such a small package).

As a bonus, the compatibility with the spatial sound feature from Apple is also pretty darn cool. I was watching a show and the characters were in a dancehall with a band playing on stage and it felt like I was right there with them listening to the band, live.

and when I moved my head around, the sounds stayed at the front, just as if you turned your head there in person. It also made the sound more “full”. again, felt like I was right there watching the band play.

Crazy cool! I highly recommend these as a step up from the AirPods. If you get them and it feels weird or doesn’t sound good at first, suck it up and stick with it for a few days, experiment with the tips, and adjust your settings.

I enjoy trying out all the latest Bluetooth wireless headsets and was looking forward to reviewing these. Setup was simple, since my iPhone identified the earbuds while still in the case. With just a simple tap, they were ready to go.

While the fit was secure and comfortable, I did find that the bass was not as pronounced as other manufacturer’s earbuds. I thought I could just adjust some settings, but was unable to locate any equalizer.

I found that the spatial setting helped compensate for the lack of rich sound, but I would have liked to have more control over my listening experience. The coolest feature of these earbuds was the “Head Tracked” spatialized option.

With the feature turned on, the sounds mimic stationary speakers and provide a unique listening experience when you turn your head. I didn’t think that the ANC (active noise cancellation) was as great as competing products, and did not notice much of a difference between ANC, transparency, or off.

Even though these were not the most comfortable earbuds I have used, they struck a nice balance between comfort and securely staying put. A secure fit is important for running. I have had other brands of earbuds where I felt like I needed to keep adjusting the buds to stay in place; this affected the quality of the run.

I tried eating while listening to music and they still felt pretty comfortable, without causing much discomfort in my ears. I’ve been using Airpods Pro daily for everything since they’ve come out so I was super excited to try the Beats Fit Pro. They take everything Apple has perfected with the Pros and repackage it in a form factor with wings instead of stems that stick out of your ear.

If you are an Apple user you will have the same features you’d expect such as the simple pairing and iCloud device switching, battery monitoring, active noise cancelling, transparency mode, find my support, hands-free Siri, and spatial audio.

Unlike the Airpods Pro, Beats has an app available for Android which means those users also get simple pairing, battery monitoring, active noise cancelling, transparency and spatial audio support. Although I’ve never had a problem with the Airpods Pro staying in my ear (but I know others do) these are even more secure with the wings.

I don’t think these would come out of my ears on a roller coaster. There are three sizes of silicone tips included and a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging. That’s right – no Lightning! A skin sensor means you can remove one bud to automatically pause the music and when you reinsert it the music keeps playing.

You can also just use one bud at a time if the other needs a charge or you just need to keep one ear on something else. Sound quality is excellent for true wireless buds. Being Beats there’s a bit more bass to the audio signature than the Airpods Pro but it’s not overpowering at all.

Very clean, in fact I think these sound better than the Airpods Pro. Even the noise cancelling and transparency mode are just as good if not better than the Pros. Audio quality for calls is equally as good with either earbud being able to be the mic.

They even last an hour longer than Airpods Pro on the battery. The only downsides really are the case itself. It unfortunately does not support wireless charging. It’s about a third taller and nearly 50% thicker than the tiny Airpods Pro case and I’m not sure why.

When you look at the Airpods Pro case and how the buds fit you can clearly see that Apple made the case as compact and dense as possible. For the Beats, the case feels hollow for it’s size. I’m not sure why the extra space is needed here assuming the batteries are nearly the same.

Nonetheless, the case is still very pocketable. Apple took my favorite wireless buds and made them better. As long as you don’t need wireless charging and can still pocket the bigger case there’s not much reason to go for the Airpods Pro over these.

I’ve seen other negative reviews about these headphones but my experience with these were amazing ! So I got my pair late 2017 – Bought it brand new from my local BB and it’s been through the washer, dryer, hell and back.

I’m an athlete and do a lot of high intensity workouts throughout the week as well so it’s drenched in sweat for a majority of it’s tenure with me. PROS: Decent sound ( nothing to write home about ).

EXTREMELY DURABLE ( I’m writing this in Aug-27 2021 and it’s still going strong after 4+ years ). Light weight (makes it a good pair for workouts and other physical activities ). Good battery life, convenient and fast charging ( uses a lightning like your iphone ) – I can’t think of the countless times I’ve forgotten to charge it overnight before I take it to the gym but the fast charging feature is so good that it goes above 50% just while I drive myself to the gym 10 minutes from my house.

CONS: Plastic used in the construction is very flimsy and easily comes apart. It tends to slip out of your ears when it’s a bit sweaty even with the bigger sized buds and the ear ridge support attachment added.

OVERALL: Great pair of wireless earphones. ONLY BUY IT ON SALE ! the MSRP on this is a bit high for what it is considering you can get airpods for fairly cheap now.

These headphones lasted me 4 years with regular use. There is a magnetic feature between the buds which I found to be very useful, but eventually one magnet disconnected from the bud, and caused my headphones to slip off unknowingly.

They were very comfortable, they came with different ear pieces to get the right fit. Stayed in my ears during high intensity workouts. During floor workouts the back strap got annoying at times, but nothing intolerable.

Sound quality was great, especially for the money. Charging was awesome!! A 5 min charge fills you all the way up and lasts you for a very long time (depending on usage). I would go days without charging these.

When answering calls while the headphones were in use, it occasionally wouldnt transfer to automatically to the headphones, you would have to manually switch over. Not always. Otherwise communication and use were great.

Set up was straightforward, and worked well with the iPhone.

I have owned 2 pairs of Beatsx. This will make it the 3rd time. The first pair lasted me a little over 2 years. I work construction and they were pulled away from my ears a lot of times. They were exposed to heat, sweat and a lot of dust.

It was understandable when one lf the plugs stopped working after too many pulls. The noise cancelation was great because I remember using a cut saw at work and using these to protect my ears. The second ones lasted me 2 years.

The battery stopped working. The sound is what these bad boys are all about. Sure they sell many affordable ones out there but the sound isn’t as great. I use the smaller buds and they rarely come off my ears, unless I’m sweaty.

They say these aren’t water proof but sweat is technically water and they never had water damage. But be reasonable. Don’t soak them just to prove a point. Overall these are amazing and they are way cheaper than before.

I will definitely buy another pair. Black and red is all I’m going to say.

Fantastic great price. Amazing sound quality very clear listening. Nice snug fit very comfortable. Volume on these is amazing. Absolute value for money. If you need headphones these are the ones. Obviously another bonus if anyone ratting on at you just blast the volume up to drown out the noise.

As a drummer on a budget I found the price of these great. They fit perfectly in my ears and didn’t move or shift when putting on my ear defenders. Sound quality was good, bit bassy, but that’s why we buy Dre Beats.

These are my second pair in 8+ years. They last forever, I was going through SkullCandy headphones ever 4 weeks – 10 weeks before.

i absolutely LOVED these headphones. Noise cancelling and doesnt pick up every single noise in your background. they are magnetic so they clasp together when hanging around your neck which is super convenient ! they sound great and are great to talk on the phone with.

the range away from your phone is actually great as i walked out of a store with my headphones connected but completely left the phone. i got all the way across the street into another store before the music disconnected.

unfortunately mind are currently broke (i believe i was too rough with them, also i used to fall asleep with them on) so i believe me rolling on them and stretching them caused them to short out. But I would absolutely purchase again ! OH, and the buds stay perfectly in my ear ! this is HUGE for me b/c i can never find a perfect earbud.
