The Skullcandy Crusher Evo Bluetooth Noise-Canceling Over-Ear Headphones, Black, S6EVW-N744, are yet another great product from the Skullcandy company. I have been purchasing headphones from this company since the Mid 2000s and I can say they have alway been a bang for your buck type of headphone for me.

I now stick to the wireless lines of headphones they make, I previously had a pair of Indy Evo wireless Earbuds by Skullcandy but wanted to see how the over ear headphones would feel for me at work. I am overall very glad I made the switch.

Sure the earbuds are lighter and allow you to wear hats easier, but as far as sound and comfort go I think these headphones take the cake. Mind you I am sitting at a desk when wearing these at work so I cannot really speak on using them when moving around.

I really like the simple controls on the headphones! The orange power button is easy to locate and cuts down on the confusion on if you have them powered on or off. The bass slider is a very nice feature that allows you to quickly adjust bass with a simple button.

The carrying case that comes with these headphones is very nice also. You can keep all your cords in one place and protect your headphones from wear during transport. Another really cool feature I liked about these headphones is the app that allows you to see the battery life, adjust EQ settings, track the headphones, and more! I really think that feature makes these headphones a step above some entry level over the ear headphones.

I mainly use these to listen to youtube videos and music. They do the job perfect and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great pair of Skullcandy headphones.

I’ve had these for a couple of months now and they still manage to blow my mind on just how good they are. I made the switch from some old Beats Studio 2 Wireless to these and I don’t regret it at all, I had no idea what I was missing, in fact I regret not purchasing this brand instead of Beats from the get go.

The music comes through so much clearer because from what I’m hearing there’s not a large/over exaggerated boost in certain frequencies that makes the headphones sound a certain type of way, which I didn’t notice until I bought these, that Beats does.

And being able to adjust the bass to the way you like it, excellent, brilliant, marvelous. It can give songs/genres that’s not so bass heavy a nice little boost for the low end, and songs/genres that are already bass heavy, an earth shattering low end boost, wow.

It’s simply insane and I love it because I absolutely love bass. Now I bought these headphones for two main reasons like I did my Beats: one to listen to music that I like, two as yet another consumer product reference for making my own music, not as studio monitors but for checking how it will sound in another environment/system.

If the music sounds great on these, it 9/10 will sound great on everything else, including the very cheap products or even the more expensive things. These headphones serve both purposes of which I purchased them for.

I love these Skullcandy Crusher Evo headphones. They take my gaming to a whole new level and I can literally feel the bass which I love! The music and bass makes me feel immersed into my games, and music.

I also use these headphones to complete zoom calls. The SkullCandy Crusher Evo headphones are perfect for a gamer, employee, college student, or someone who wants to listen to music and vibe out. The cool thing is that these headphones give you 40 hours of battery life which gives you hours of play time.

Obviously I am a gamer. The rapid charge is 100% true it literally takes only minutes to charge for 3 hours of play. For a full charge it’s only probably about 30 minutes and back up for 40 hours. The audio on these are amazing it’s so crisp and clear.

When talking to a person online I feel like the person talking is next to me or when I listen to music that I am at the concert listening to the band. It is that clear! The cancellation works well too! I do not hear anything in the background when I am in meetings which I am sure my employees are happy about.

It’s also nice to have the noise cancellations when I’m playing my games. One of my favorite thing about these headphones is the tile. I loose everything and with the tile my life became easier no more searching for hours.

The tile is a nice touch to the headphones. Now lets talk about the personal sound auto tune which is such a nice touch and to my amazement works perfectly. I love the personal auto tune because I have a hard time hearing.

It is so easy to adjust the sound to your preferences. The Skullcandy crusher evo headphones would be a perfect present for somebody who games, loves music, works too much (j/k), and for everyone! Multiple people are receiving these for gifts from me and I know they will be screaming for excitement.

Definitely one of the best wireless headphones I have used in awhile.

Let me just start by saying that I was very happy with my in-ear headphones. until I was given these! No longer do I need to avoid sharp movements for fear of losing an airpod, or constantly readjust to achieve comfort.

These on-ear wireless headphones are supremely comfortable, lightweight and beautifully designed. The sound is rich and balanced as you would expect from such an iconic headphone brand. They feature noise reduction rather than noise cancellation, which I personally prefer, so I can still hear the doorbell, cars etc.

I often use headphones whilst in the house, listening to music or podcasts as I do my chores and have noticed I can leave my phone in the kitchen, walk upstairs and never lose connection – these seem to have better range than other wireless headphones I own.

I found the set up to be a doddle, just a matter of connecting to my phone / computer’s bluetooth upon first use, then it is stored. There is a small gold control button (possibly a bit too small?) to adjust volume, track etc which can also be used to control phone calls.

The quality of sound / microphone for calls is top notch. One of the most impressive features is the battery life. I believe they say it is 80 hours from a single charge / 15 hours for a 15 minute charge.

I genuinely forgot I needed to charge them because the ‘out of the box’ charge lasted so long! There is a USB charger in the box as well as an audio cable – but beware, I almost missed them because they are tucked into the bottom of the box.

Great for everyday use and will be top of my packing list for my next holiday (whenever that may be)!.

The Major IV headphones are a great, lightweight set of on ear headphones that represent good value for money. Build quality is good; the head band has some light padding and sit comfortably. The ear pad adjustment is exposed as opposed to some heavier weight sets where they slide into the headband.

This doesn’t make them feel any less robust and the adjustment is firm. This lightweight frame allows them to be folded up into an ok size that would easily slip into a bag. The speakers fold in but don’t rotate so they don’t quite go flat.

A pouch or bag would have been nice if like to keep your headphones scuff free; there’s enough padding and “leather” fabric to pick up nicks and scratches from keys and sharpish objects in your bag. The relatively small cushions sit on the ear and, while they don’t create the vacuum effect you feel with larger cushions that completely envelope the ear, you still get quite a good seal.

The selector button is easy to locate and has a positive click to it so you know when you have pressed it. This operates volume, play/pause, skip, and built in phone controls. Connecting to Bluetooth is straightforward, as you would expect, and phone call quality is good.

I haven’t made any calls outside yet so not sure if wind noise is an issue for the other caller. I was taken aback by the quality of the sound. For a small speaker, they produce a rounded, rich sound and there’s no distortion at the volume I’ve been listening at.

I’ve tried a few different genres – all sound great. In summary, these feel like they’re punching above their weight and, for the money, you’re getting a lot of sound for your pound!.

Great set of headphones, well presented and folds down quite small. The ear pads rest on the ear rather than go over the whole ear but this doesn’t really have a huge impact on blocking out outside noise.

The controls on the right ear are really good and easier to find than other headphones I’ve used – the knob sticks out a bit. It does volume up, down, play, pause, skip or rewind track. I love the noises they make when you turn on / connect to Bluetooth / pause etc.

– like an electric guitar strum! The battery on these is absolutely incredible, they came somewhat charged and it has lasted weeks already (obviously depends on how much you use them). Connecting via Bluetooth is really easy and more reliable than other brands.

The quality of sound is excellent – really good bass. I don’t have a wireless charging pad, but these are compatible if you do. I didn’t actually even look at the quick start guide to set it all up as it’s all really intuitive but I see you can also use the cable provided to plug in another set of headphones, and that the charging light goes from red to orange to green which is a nice touch.

You’ve also got compatibility with voice assistants, which is really handy. All in all, incredible functionality for a fairly modest price.

I have had several pairs of headphones and earbuds in the past. And this is the most I have spent on any pair of headphones, so I was sceptical at first to say the least. My last pair of headphones I had to purchas an equalizer app to get enough bass so I dont have to listen to only the peircing highs.

*keep note I am an audiophile and am very picky with the quality of any speaker or pair of headphones I get. And unlike most people, who just want to listen to music not caring what it really sounds like, I am focused as much on the thing thats making the music almost as much as the music its self.

Unboxing: Unboxing these was very easy and exiting, as yo have a slick, almost powdery(if this makes sense) matte finish with a reflective material consisting of the words and image of the headphones on the front.

From the get-go you can tell they are high quality and well thought out. The box has a door, so to say, that has a magnet to open it and close it. As soon as you open it up, there will be the skull candy carrying bag.

Yhere will also be some cardboard supports to keep the headphones supported and safe. You will get the whole usere’s manual and all that stuff which you wont need because these have some of the simplest controls of any headphone I have seen.

And under everything, there will be the colormatched aux chord and usb-c charging chord. Unboxing: 8. 8/10 Carrying bag: This bag is very high quality and durable and will well protect your headpones from scuffing and being twisted up in luggage or office supplies.

The bag has the Skullcandy logo that is color matched to the headphones just like the aux chord. The bag has the Skullcandy headquarters coordinates written on it which I thought was one of the coolest things ever.

The doble roll and clip is very simple and easy to do to close the bag. The inside of the case is very soft and is also colormatched to the headphones aswell as the aux chord and skull candy logo on the carrying bag.

*do keep in mind that this will not protect your headphones if sat on or accidentally dropped or thrown because it is a soft case, so if you do travle a lot or use them or move them often, then purchasing a hard case will be optimal for you.

Carrying bag/case: 9/10 Headphone build quality: The matte finish is very modern and finger-print proof. The adjustable things (what ever they are called to adjust the length of the headphones) are very smooth and easy to adjust.

The swivel of the actual headphones is smooth and also “locks” where you set it. The foam pads that fit arround your ear are very comfertabole and do a good job of dampening outside sounds and keeping inside sounds in so people can’t hear you music at low levles.

(half volume and below) the foam pad at the to of the headphones is very squishy so-to-say. It’s a very un-describable part and once you feel it you can say the same. As well at the soft carry case, the top of the headphones has the Skullcandy headquarters coordinates.

Also the very top, I am assuming is Alcantara, is also colormatched to the headphones. 9/10 Headphoe usability and controls: These are some of the simplest controls in any pair of headphones. On the left, you have the power and bass slider.

This is my favorite side because of the bass slider. The bass slider allows you to completely coustomize you sound to what you are watching or listening to. For me this is very helpful because i switch between genres of music, movies, and social media.

The right side has the simple indented pause/play button and the volume up and down buttons on the top and bottom of thie pause and play button. Other than that, thats all the controls. Controls: 9. 5/10 Sound quality and crushing bass: These are the best sounding headphones on the market under $1k.

The highs are crisp and not piercing, and the mids are rich and clear. You don’t have to worry about losing sound quality as you turn up the bass. The one feature on these that are on absolutley nothingelse is a dedocated subwoofer.

These headphones WILL rattle your teeth and make your brains numb. They absolutely crush the lows and have the cleanest bass. The bass isn’t muddy and is clear, accurate and tight. These have a feature where, since the bass is so loud, will turn up the mids and highs but not to where it’s too loud.

The bass slider all the way down in no bass at all and turns the subwoofer off completely. As soon as you turn the slider up just a little it will turn it on. At full volume, they will drown out everything.

On full volume with these things off, you can hear them like its your phone’s speaker on about 3/4 volume. Funny story; so one day I was “vacuuming” my house with these on full volume just jamming. I suddenly have to go to the bathroom and pause the music and notice the vacuum wasn’t even on.

So I have to go back after I finished releaving myself, I re-vacuumed the room and a half i have missed. Sound quality 10/10 Improvements for Skullcandy’s next Crusher Evo model: make the max volume a tad bit louder.

Also design the headband a little tighter to be able to headbang a little harder. Overall rating after using these for 2 months: 9. 8/10 TLDR; Get these right now, don’t get sony or bose unless you want to fit in with the crowd or just want to miss out on the craziest listning experience ever.

I am an music fanatic. I listen to just about every genre of music. Love my AirPod Pros, however over ear cannot be beat for best sound quality. Owning for three months I feel I can give a honest review.

I wanted something with increased lower end response to feel as was listening to my home audio system. These are extremely comfortable feel so great on head and over the ears. Then when I connected to my devices via Bluetooth DANG! The quality I had been searching for was unbelievable finally found.

The control over increase/decrease the lower end resopne for the style and genre of music I listen to amazing. Very clear high ends as well. I am able to control most devices from the headphones which I like.

Battery life is really great. The connectivity to my iPhone for use with calls as good as my AirPods, yet still no replacement for their use I also need. The Skullcandy app must have and allows auditory setup like AirPods for hearing infraction, which I have.

Tile is also available so you can locate if misplaced with in a location. Would I purchase again, most definitely and have recommended to both my adult children to include numerous friends. I did get these on a sale and had many points to use so I did not pay the full price, which has made them ever sweeter.

I just did not wish to pay for the much higher end over ear headphones to be disappointed and these have not!.

These are the first “Studio Headphones” that I have ever purchased. I’ve been producing music for about 17 years (Not professionally) and have always used studio monitors and whatever headphones I had sitting around, some fairly decent and some just cheap-o’s.

I finally decided that I wanted to purchase a “Good” set of studio headphones. For about 3 weeks I searched, read reviews and watched YT videos on the matter and kept coming back to these and the NDH-20’s, which I’m sure would have also been a great choice but for some reason, I just couldn’t get over these.

Unboxing these M-200’s was awesome. They are packaged very well, have a great case and the build quality of the headphones is very nice. They are not too heavy nor too light and feel as though they could be tossed around without worry.

The sound. OMG! They are incredible. The clarity is amazing. Please be aware that they will point out everything wrong with your mix. It’s actually pretty funny. I told my wife that I wanted to cry, not because they sounded so great but because it made my mix sound so terrible and I am very grateful for that.

That is after all why you want Studio headphones right? To be honest. Not color your mix and lie to you. I made a copy of a song that I am currently working on. Remixed and tweeked EQ and compression using these and then played the mix back on other test devices and WOW what an improvement! Overall, I absolutely recommend these! IF you are looking for honest, neutral headphones with no frequency exaggerations.

If that’s not what you’re searching for, look elsewhere because you will most likely hate these. Also, I’ve seen several reviews about the clamp pressure of these and how they give you a head ache. I have a rather large head and these do not bother me.

They are a little tighter than most sets but not to point that they are actually painful. But the plus to this is that they do not leak a lot of sound. The ONLY complaint that I have about these is that the cushion could be a little thicker but wouldn’t you know it, V moda sells upgrades on their website.

Overall: All, I just finished using the M-200s plugged into a bass amp. Spectacular sound images. My amp has a horn it was great to hear how the M200s picked up the highs. Lows *Forget about it. * This set has the clarity from fret to fret.

I’m now listening to Black Metal. NIce distinct leads, bass, drums. Theirs color in the sound if you know what I’m talking about. My current home stereo is a Marshall Stanmore II, the M200 easily brings out missing pieces that Marshall misplaces, namely the depth and resonance.

These headphones are AMAZING! The sheer definition of the audio that comes out of them blew my mind. Having used different headphones over the years, these bring out so many details in my mixes that I didn’t even think were there.

It has definitely reduced the amount of time it takes me to mix. They are comfortable, easy to store and travel with, and they are definitely lightweight. For such a small product it really does have a large sound.

I upgraded to these from a pair of M-100 Masters from V-Moda, and I definitely can tell there is a major difference. If you’re looking for a pair of headphones that doesn’t have “fake bass” or any coloring, the M-200’s are right for you.

Bought the for for my DJ gigs. Showed up just in time for all gigs to get canceled because of covid-19 so I’m not able to see how they hold up being on the road. The sound quality is way better than I expected from headphones at this price point, The bass and mids are rich, witch is surprising because these are so light weight.

The construction feels solid. Mostly plastic but some metal parts where it matters. The cords are rubberized and very flexible. I will be adding heat shrink tube to the connections. I do this to all me cables because (as we all know) that is the weak link on all cables.

I’m not a fan of round ear cups because they hit either the top or bottom of your ear, but maybe I’ll get used to them. So far I would recommend these and would purchase again. I’ll update on how rugged they are once I get gigging again.

I ran these through my normal testing procedure and these work beautifully. These are extremely comfortable on the ears. I ran these through a mix of songs that have lots of bass, lots of treble, and songs that have a combo of both and in all three, these worked perfectly.

Really recommend these for anybody that likes music. They are adjustable in any way to fit you. Please buy these.

Honestly for a set of gaming headphones that are only $27 with tax they are actually very good. I’ve had some good headphones most of them don’t ever hold up. But these actually hold up pretty well the sound is very clear and crisp!!! I play a lot of Halo infinite and you could clearly hear footsteps of other players the gunfire is at an excellent rate and over all the headphones are pretty loud.

For a first-timer or someone that just is looking for a bang for the buck these are the headphones to go with. The only issue is the microphone headset when you move it a lot since it’s a bendable material it kind of Falls after a while but doesn’t cause any issue to the actual microphone itself overall good headset.

But buyer beware if buying it for a young child under the age of 14 they can break easily but if your kid or an adult takes care of them they’ll last for a good amount of time.

Compared to most headsets I ever owned, the Recon 50p is by far the most comfortable ones I’ve worn. The pads are very smooth and soft to your ears, which is perfect for lengthy sessions and works perfectly for glasses wearers.

When it comes to sound, it makes clear sound and is at decent quality overall, but the base unfortunately is very weak and doesn’t give enough impact. The mic makes a very clear sound when chatting with friends, but the downside is that the earpads covers allover the ear, which makes it hard to hear your own voice without shouting.

There used to be a Recon 60p available before, which is essentially the same as the 50p, but it came with a USB amplifier, which adds mic-monitoring, usb connectivity and presumably better sound quality for it, especially the base.

It’s a bit sad such amplifier is no longer available from Turtle Beach. Overall, I’m satisfied with the Recon 50p.

Without doubt the worst headset I have ever used in my life. Priced at $25, I bought it thinking I would get the most average quality sound and mic. And to its credit, the sound is average and mic is average which was what I was looking for.

However, the top of the headband on the headset is made with the worst kind of plastic material that will damage the top of your head in less than hour. Within 30 minutes of playing a game of FIFA on PS4, I couldn’t bear to wear the headset any longer.

I can’t return this item due to the policy during COVID which I respect but I am warning any possible buyer, this headset cannot be used any longer than an hour without your head feeling like its being squeezed by a plastic bottle.

I highly recommend a different brand of low quality headset or pay an extra $20 for leather bands.

I didn’t have any high expectations for these headphones. Although I’m coming from a pair ‘high-end’ headphones, I must admit that I know very little about them. So, if you are looking for a technical examination of this product – I am not the ideal person to give this.

If you just want a straight-forward review then keep reading. To begin, the headphones do work. The audio is good, in fact they sound better than I had expected at this price point. The sound is clear, rich and has a sensible level of bass for the price.

They’re nicely put together, they fit comfortably over the ears, can be folded flat for storage. Another added bonus is that these have a tangle-free cable on the. Those are the basics. I wanted decent sounding headphones that are comfortable while watching videos, listening to an audiobook and making calls for my job.

I work from home, and use these headphones to communicate with my colleagues on Microsoft Teams. They do a decent job. None of my colleagues have complained about the quality of the microphone compared to my previous pair.

For what you’re getting at this price I can’t really complain.

The sound quality is impressive for the price. These are on the ear headphones, not over the ear. So, passive noise isolation won’t be as good. However, they are quite comfortable. I could easily wear these for a couple hours while watching a movie.

The physical size of the headphones make them a good choice for children. Sure, they aren’t brightly colored, but I’m willing to bet the sound quality and price are much better than you’d pay for a branded set of crappy headphones.

Also, I was surprised at the quality of the cord. I was expecting a thin, cheap cord. It’s actually fairly thick and tangle resistant. Only complaint I have — I wish the cord connected at a single point, rather than running to each ear piece.

But, again, for the price they’re darn good quality. Update: I’ve now used these headphones several times on the treadmill. I like them even more now. When running, you’ll occasionally run into a set of headphones with a seriously flimsy cord.

As you run, a flimsy cord will bounce and become seriously annoying. These don’t do that at all. I love how the solid cord just hangs with minimal movement. Also, the ear pads will get a bit sweaty, but nothing a quick wipe won’t rectify.

I’ll let you know how they hold up for exercise use.

Everyone hears differently but to my ears, once I found the EQ setting i liked, these headphones became the best sounding wireless headphones I’ve tried, by a wide margin! Everything sounds so good, every genre I’ve tried.

it all sounds so awesome I don’t want to take them off! And this is compared to a large number of name brands I’ve tried over the last year and a half or so. I’ve tried Bang & Olufsen, Bowers & Wilkins, Sennheiser, Sony, AirPods Max and more, and these have the best sound, balanced, good bass that doesn’t overwhelm the mids or highs, highs that are pleasant and not harsh or shrill.

now, the noise cancelling isn’t the best, it’s adequate but the most important thing about that is that it doesn’t change the sound even on the “Max” setting, and I hear no hiss with the noise cancelling activated.

Battery life is as advertised and the headphones charge relatively quickly. I would like to have seen wear sensors, sure, but they aren’t necessary by any means and I’ve experienced wear sensors that are hit or miss on other headphones so really I don’t miss it very much.

These headphones are comfortable for me, no issues, I could see some being bothered by the headband not having enough padding, but again, I haven’t experienced discomfort when listening for extended periods.

They do support multi point connections (despite what I’ve read elsewhere) but it is a little touchy and will switch to the other device at any sound, even a notification beep will cause them to switch over to the second device, but then they switch back.

Hopefully this can be addressed in a future update! Also the carry case is nice, faux leather finish, high quality. The headphones fold down to fit and is much smaller and more portable than the previous Aonic 50’s were.

I’ve owned the Shure Aonic 50 for about a week as I write this review, and right off the bat, I was impressed with how crisp and clear they sounded. Compared with ATH-M50x BT headsets which I also own, the bass is not as prominent and the overall sound gels in well with the kind of music that I listen to.

Some observations:- – The multipoint connection setup works great, I’ve been using my headsets with my phone and Windows laptop simultaneously without any issues. While connecting it with a laptop running Linux, however, the setup is a little laborious.

The connection switched back to my phone every time I got a notification, and I had to manually twiddle around with the settings to get my headsets back to streaming audio from my laptop. – ANC is meh at best.

The audio quality suffers noticeably whilst using ANC at its max setting, and the noise isolation offered is not good enough to mute anything louder than an AC/fan in the room. – The inbuilt microphone works quite well.

I’ve been taking calls all week with my headsets on with no complaints from the other end, even whilst strolling near a fairly busy road. The performance of the mic suffers a bit when pairing it with my laptop running Linux, but I suspect that’s because of the audio driver settings and not the headphones – The battery life is a little underwhelming, I was used to charging my ATH M50x BTs every few days, whereas these require charging every day and a half.

On the plus side, they charge up pretty quickly and you can listen to audio via USB too. – The carrying case is huge, but not unmanageable. The headphones are a little uncomfortable to hang around your neck whilst not in use, as the cups don’t swivel outwards (like the ATH-M50x BTs).

Overall, I am quite pleased with my purchase, with the audio and mic quality, the build, and the Shure EQ app being the positives and the underwhelming ANC/battery life as drawbacks.

These headphones are very comfortable, have an excellent sound profile, good noise cancellation, and high-fidelity codex support that take full advantage of the hardware even over bluetooth. The one glaring issue with these headphones is the build quality over time.

I bought a pair of these 6 months ago, and the padding on the headband and earpads has already started to peel off; instead of stitching, the leather is glued and friction-fit into the plastic. The clamping force is also noticeably weaker than at purchase time.

I have since sent the headphones in for a warranty claim, but this is wear that I expect to see after years, not months, and even after a warranty exchange the pleather will still be glued, not stitched.

I have seen multiple other users voice the same complaint so this is clearly not a one-off issue. All that being said, the sound quality of these headphones is still as good as you can get from a wireless set, and I would highly appreciate a Rev 2.

Always respected the AKG brand, but picked a pair of these just randomly because I liked how they sound in the store. Sound quality is really good, bluetooth connection with the phone is solid, battery life is good.

Durability is so-so – although the construction holds up after years of use, but the soft materials (on earcups and headband) became flaky and i don’t think i can easily find replacement. But my biggest complaint is about using these as a computer headset.

There seems to be a firmware bug that does not recognize any sort of voice call activity as non-idle, resulting in headset going into sleep mode during long Teams meetings. There are many similar reports about this specific model online.

They will turn off every 30 minutes of Teams meeting no matter what. And no, adjusting device power settings in Windows does not help, and there is no way to update the headset firmware.

For the money the sound is pretty good. They are reasonably comfortable to wear so long as you don’t move your head too much. However what is really annoying the is the battery charge warning that goes off every 10 sec at a certain charge level.

It is a very annoying distraction. Of if you could keep the battery topped up then perhaps it would not effect you too much. However, you can only charge them once the low charge threshold is reached.

Thus meaning if you happen to using while travelling there is a pretty good chance you will have to listen to the beeping along with any content you actually what to hear for at least an hour. Then the head phones turn off leaving you in silence.

Some engineer probably though they were brilliant for extending battery life but in reality the product is only usable at home when close to a charger or when you have 2 pairs of headphones!.

I had a previous model that was showing signs of age so gave to a friend. So I rang a trusted salesman at Tonbridge Wells branch. Two days later my on ears arrived put them on charge and couldn’t wait to sample them.

Paired them , Spotify streaming, instantly a better sound than an earlier model. My ears are as old as me But how people spend serious money on headphones when these are so detailed. Bass is crisp not muddy everything is really clear.

The best way I can describe this product is I didn’t want to take them off.

I bought these headphones at the start of the pandemic because, like a lot of people, I was spending a lot of time on video calls and needed comfortable headphones. I picked these mostly for the memory foam and noise cancelling features, and I feel like I definitely got $60 of use out of them over the past year and a half.

The earcups and padding at the top of the head were very comfortable, and the noise cancelling was really helpful in my noisy house. About a month ago, however, I noticed that the plastic above the left earcup had cracked, creating an uncomfortable jagged edge.

Since I was still within warranty, I filled out the form on the Soundcore site and requested a replacement. They got back to me the next day, asked for a screenshots of my invoice and the damage, and sent me a replacement immediately.

I got it within two days. Overall, I’ve had a very positive experience with these headphones and this company. I would, however, recommend reinforcing the plastic on the headband area, as this is definitely a structural weak point (when taking pictures of the cracked left side, I noticed the beginnings of a crack on the right as well).

For mid-range headphones, the customer service and overall good audio quality of the q20s make them a good value for me, and I’d probably buy them again.

My local Walmart had Anker headphones on display and I really liked them. It turns out, all of the models on display have been discontinued. So I searched all over to find a similar pair to the Anker Vortex or Anker Life.

These have the MOST comfortable ear cups ever. I kid you not! They’re so soft and flexible. The music sounds great and the bass sounded incredible for headphones of this price range. I’m very impressed.

Also, all Anker headphones come with an 18 month warranty. You can’t beat that. The only downside to these is that the size is a little large. I have a small head and I have to wear them on the tightest adjustment.

With that said, I kind of like that because a lot of over the ear headphones squeeze your temples and these do not.

I just wanted a good set of BlueTooth headphones that would work with my new mobile phone because my new phone does not have a plug-in jack for older headphones. The hardest part was figuring out how to get the headphones to work with my new phone because I have never used BlueTooth before.

After I figured out all the techno-jargon, I realized it was very simple to get them to link to my phone. These headphones seem to have a long useage time before the rechargable batteries drain. I am very pleased with these headphones.

These are an enjoyable set of headphones. Of particular note is the wide soundstage and amazing bass for open-backed headphones. They are very clear, but this an area where they can be unpleasant at times.

Depending on the source they can be rather shrill in the treble. However, this depends on the source because they are quite revealing. If you are sensitive to treble then you are likely to struggle with these at times.

I also have Philips SHP9500 and these are my go-to open-back headphones. The 9500’s, by comparison are a bit light on the bass but I find the treble more consistent and enjoyable over longer periods of time.

They sound very slightly “warmer” than the X2HR’s. Similarly, I have some Fidelio L2 headphones, which are semi-closed, which I use when my family is in the same room. These are also really good with excellent bass and a good balance throughout.

I mention these other Philips headphones as a comparison. There is a definite Philips “house sound” with these three sets, but they all have their particular individual characteristics. In summary, I put the Fidelio X2HR in a very, very close 3rd place.

This is not a derogatory placement. They are really enjoyable for a particular mood you may be in: enjoyable, fun bass, which is not too bloated but they’re not a “basshead” phone. They have really excellent soundstage and the clarity is good.

Sometimes you think the sound is coming from within the room and not the headphones! However, on occasions, they are a bit “sharp” and if you’re not in the mood it can detract. The midrange on all of these headphones is really good.

Comfort-wise, these are good. They need a bit of time “wearing in” as they initially felt a bit tight after the SHP9500’s, which to be fair are a bit loose but extremely comfortable. The X2HR’s, in contrast, won’t move on your head easily, and after a few weeks are no so tight and are pretty comfortable.

They are extremely well made and feel really solid. I really like the Philips headphones I have. Excellent quality at a reasonable price.

Although I wouldn’t call the X2HR a reference style open back headphone, I would say they are a very enjoyable pair to listen to all kinds of music on. I’ve listened to everything from Jazz, Classical, Hip Hop, old school to modern R&B, all eras of rock to Death Metal, and the X2HR sounded great with all of them.

Great detail, ample bass that holds together and the soundstage is wide but not so much that you lose the mix or the vocals. The X2HR is bright, but never sibilant and the treble range allows for great resolving of ear candy usually lost or hard to hear in poorer performing headphones.

I would say the EQ is a bit more of a V shape, but there is enough midrange where recordings never sound hollow. I find the fit very comfortable for my large head and the build quality is excellent. I will say that ear fatigue settled in for me after about 2 to 2.

5 hours of listening at a moderate volume. All in all, a great set of cans.

I can’t find this locally, so I have to buy it overseas. They are small and lightweight, the design looks very simple, yet they provide a nice sound. They are probably a good option to carry with the cellphone just to listen to some music.

I compared the sound with a Sony at the same price range and with more expensive AKGs. Every product had its goodness but this were the best when connected to my digital piano, and also they come with the 6.

3mm adapter, as it should be. Nice bass. I feel the higher tones a bit too strong but the sound is clear and that’s very important. Lets remember again that this are cheap headphones, but good for it’s price.

I’m curious now about some more expensive models. I will buy Yamaha headphones again for sure.

When it comes to raw sound quality, nothing beats the sense of scale a pair of decent over-ear headphones can provide. But the problem is, they can get expensive very quickly. These fantastic headphones prove the “why pay more” train of though! They feature ‘Noise-cancelling’ technology, which massively reduce background noise.

This not only makes the music clearer and easier to hear, but it also means you can listen to it at a lower volume (which your ears will thank you for), and it will still be crystal clear. This makes them almost perfectly matched for using with a digital piano (which is what they were probably designed for).

Buy them – and you won’t regret it!!.

I have used Yamaha products for many years, including Organs and Home Theatre amps. I found these headphones to be excellent quality with good frequency response and tonal balance. As an aged person with certain hearing losses, the headphones compensate for those losses much more than I anticipated.

Whatever your age these will add to your listening pleasure. Use them on Tablets, Amps and Musical instruments.

This is my first time with a pair of semi-open headphones and I gotta say wow, the sound and clarity these things have are crazy good sound for 40 dollars. The bass is tight and present without being too muddy, the treble and mids are also really good without being overbearing.

However this sound is only achieved once i did two things. One was to buy a new pair of earpadds as the stock ones are kind of small and cheap for me. I bought a pair of Wicked Cushion Hybrid pads. They sound muffled at first, so the second thing I did was take the foam out around the circle so that i could see the driver.

After doing this, I am satisfied with the sound these headphones are capable of. Will recommend to everyone who is into a bright-ish warm sound signature.

I will say they are a lot more comfortable compared the modern retro. The headband is so much better feeling. The earpads could use a replacement to something more comfortable, but I usually will replace them with all my headphones.

I wear my headphones for hours at a time for gaming, voice chat, watching videos and listening to music. Like I said previously is change the ear pads to something a little more comfy. The sound is pretty good to me I like them better than the retros and a ton better than the status audio cb-1’s.

For me they are good I am not an audiophile or anything. I am over all happy with them I am glad I took a chance on them.

These headphones are truly excellent. The sound is a great mix of the pros of closed and open back, with none of the cons. I can hear virtually every nuance in my music and video games, with clear separation.

Soundstage is excellent as well and everything sounds very balanced. Also, these ‘phones are super comfortable! I’ve worn them for several hours at a time (with glasses on) and they never became even slightly uncomfortable.

I believe Monoprice hit it out of the park with these semi-opens and the price is very fair for what you get, which is a quality set of hi-fi cans.

I expect a little bit better bass. But for this price the sound is really clear and even bass is good. (Tested on samsung Galaxy without any sound qeualizer) no bass boost or any other extra staff just clear music from di.

Sound is 8.5 out of 10, looks are quite acceptable but I think they are not too robustly built, Ive got a feeling they may soon get broken. I hope Im wrong. Otherwise no real probs al all.

Great headphones on a sensible budget, mid-range sound quality on these is comparable to my Bose headphones, but unbelievably the low down bass response is better. worth noting these are the studio model not the Studio-Pro, manufacturers part number is misleading in the description, only difference is the pro has more padding in the ear cups.

Completely fine for casual listening. The cushions give a pretty nice isolation which is nice when you’re on the train or metro, listening to an audiobook. The sound itself has a punchy bass. Pretty nice when listening to hiphop, r&b or any kind of electronic music.

The downside though, is that the sound is a bit too compressed for my taste. The highs and mids aren’t crystal clear which gives the sound a ‘narrow’ feel. It isn’t extremely bothersome, but i personally enjoy listening to jazz or orchestral music and these headphones don’t really do justice to that music.

But like i said, it’s fine for commuting and casual listening. The design is very nice though, another reason to buy for commuting or when going around town.

These are very compact and lightweight and I found the sound quality to be good. Being able to “daisy chain” with extra pairs of headphones is a good idea as is being able to feed the lead into either ear cup.

The adjustment for fit in the headband was good with a friction grip rather than set choices of adjustment. For me the only problems were I found my ears got very warm after a whiles (this may not be a problem if they are mainly being worn outside or could simply be it#s some years since I’ve worn headphones) and I found the grip between the ear cups a little tight which meant they pressed on the arms of my glasses but again this may have resolved after more time in use and the padding reshaped to my situation.

A couple of minor criticisms but overall these are good headphones for the price.

I would definitely not pay full price for this. So Im glad I purchased this on eBay. There is sound leakage, I like to listen to music full volume. Others can def. hear my music. If youre conservative about the volume; then others shouldnt hear a thing.

No noise cancellation. Does not come with audio cables (for the option of using these as wired headphones). Controls are ok, I have slight issues with the on/off button. Overall, decent blutooth headphones.

Comfortable. Beats Beats by Dre. I think retail price is $99, I wouldnt pay more than $70 new.

I LOVE these headphones! I got a pair for free on a flight a few years ago, and they finally gave out. ACTUALLY THEY DIDN’T STOP WORKING, BUT THE EARPIECE AND UPPER PART WOULD DETACH AND I’D HAVE TO PUT THEM ON VERY VERY CAREFULLY WITH A FEW PIECES STICKING OUT HERE AND THERE.

DEFINITELY NOT THE BEST LOOK IF YOU’RE WEARING THEM OUTSIDE EVER. This happened after I’d repeatedly thrown them in my pocketbook with about 50 other things. Definitely my fault! Anyway I sent away for a more expensive pair (about $20) from a different manufacturer, and they didn’t have nearly the clear, or crisp full sound as these.

I sent them back and crossed my fingers that these would be as good as my old ones, and happily they’re exactly the same! I did remove the ear pads, as I had with the original ones, as I like the sound much better.

Highly recommend!.

The headphones are fine. The sound is okay. And clear. The set is fragile so be careful with it. We bought them Aug/Sep 2020 and now it is Aug 2021; they are still “alive” and working. For those busy 5 year old’s this set is a decent choice for the “starter headphones” and affordable under $7.

If you’re new to gaming, or a casual gamer looking for a headset this is a great bang for your buck. The headset is very comfortable and I am a big fan of the leather ear muffs, rather than other fabrics that some other companies use.

The sound is very clear, and the volume on the headset gets pretty loud. I am a big FPS player, footsteps, guns firing, and other sound ques come through very clear. When playing in a party with friends I can hear them very well, and they have no issues hearing me.

At first I thought it would be a pain to connect to my PS5 via Bluetooth, but the USB adapter made it very easy. A couple downsides though. First being that the USB adapter takes up one of the USB spots in the front of the console, sometimes I’ll be charging my phone and controller at the same time so I can’t do this when the headset is connected.

The mic connects via 3. 5 AUX jack, and it can’t be bent up and down. So if you are not talking to your friends and don’t want to see the mic out of your peripherals, you have to unplug it and set it aside.

If you are organized, there is no a problem but if you are somebody who misplaces things it could be an issue. The last thing is just having to charge it. Having your headset die mid-game can be frustrating, and if you are not used to charging your headset when you get off the system you may find yourself playing your first couple games the next day with no headset.

With all that being said, those are pretty minor issues and the actual performance of the headset is great and for $75 you really cannot beat it. For parents looking to get their kids a headset for Christmas, or a younger kid looking to get a solid headset without spending a ton of money.

I highly highly recommend.

I have been playing computer video games right after the invention of the wheel in every configuration possible in both video and audio. I went from a highfalutin 5. 1 surround system to mutiple experiments with 2.

1 systems. but nothing engaged me fully in the gaming until now. Set up was again very easy with the dongle connection to the computers USB, download the JBL Quantum app and you are at the starting gate.

Click on the 7. 1 channel set up and it will launch a video on how to configure the headphones with Windows. This is when the fun starts. Press test after configuration and you will hear the 7. 1 surround test pattern swirling around your head.

Very cool. It took a little while for my brain to adapt to the ambience that these headphone provide and doing so wirelessly! Footsteps, voices in various enviroments, shot gun blast, and explosions, drew me into the game.

Soon the headphones disappered and the gaming expierence became more pronouced and involving. Even my old games that I played over a million times had a new lease on life. But wait theres more. Besides my music library in my computer, I also stream music.

Now I can listen to music with these headphones without being tied down to the computer. In fact the distance from the computer was very very impressive. Did I like these? Absolutly killer for gaming and music! They have not left my head!.

Disclaimer: I haven’t bought this product but is testing it for Review Club. I have tested this product for the past weeks and here is my overall results. Overall it is an ok headset, it does not compare to the best wireless headsets, but it is definitely a good buy for the price.

To sum up. Pros: * The headset is a good fit on the head and around the ears (on me at least). * You won’t get really sweaty ears. * The sound quality is quite good with speak, but (see cons) * Batterry life is good.

Before I got an update it did not automatically turn off when not used, so if you forgot to turn it off – battery got drained. This was solved via software update * Very nice app to adjust sound. Cons: * The sound quality when listening to music is not really good.

There are some twitches in the sound when you listen so don’t expect HIFI quality. * The overall appearance of the headset does not appear as a high-end product as both weight and looks is a little bit cheap (which it basically is compared to other products).

* The headset is based on a dongle so you cannot use it for more devices or even your phone.

These earphones get some backlash because of that *extra bass* monocle creating a perception of them being overloaded with boomy bass with zero tonality and it is partly true because of the tuning they come stock, Some clever equalization nums the boomy midbass and brighten ups the mids and treble but keep in mind they can never compete with hybrid iems but these earphones are much more enjoyable to hear.

Pros- -Punchy bass heavy sound signature with nice vocal clarity after playing with the equalizer and dolby atmos. -These are VERY COMFORTABLE -They also look cool:) Cons -Not very detailed sound like hybrids *KZ ZST* -Mic is also not very good just apt for the job -Needs equalization which many people cannot perform the right way.

Ps. I returned Blon 03 because of the weird fit and personality didn’t like the sound signature and i feel KZ ZST’s sound better than them.
