20 Best Head Massager For Headache (2023 Updated)

First off, I receive this scalp massager as part of of the Bridges Scalp Revival Soothing Solutions Value Set that I purchased last month. Prior to purchasing that kit I was using a scalp massager that I had purchased from Sally Beauty Supply.

I thought that the brush I purchased was good, but I hated using it because the bristles where made of hard plastic that it sometimes made my scalp sensitive. Once I got the Bridges Value Set, I noticed that this brush had very soft flexible bristles that are not plastic.

Can I just say that my scalp was in love. It was soothing to use in my dry scalp and didn’t leave it feeling overly sensitive. I also love that the brush comes apart for easy cleaning and to ensure no mold or mildew occurs.

I once thought I would never pay the expensive price for this product, but after receiving it in the Bridget Scalp Revival Soothing Solutions Value Set, I can understand the higher price tag. Even though I’m a gal on a budget, I can say that if I lost this brush, I would definitely be able to justify the price to purchase another one.

I have fine, thinning hair so I’ve started using more intensive, scalp-oriented shampoos/treatments and I wanted something to help me get the product deep in my scalp without breaking my fine hair or irritating my scalp.

This is the one!!! It’s so gentle and doesn’t hurt my sensitive scalp but my hair and scalp have never been cleaner or healthier; the first time I used it I felt like I’d never shampooed before and I’m wondering now if I was getting my scalp & hair clean enough before.

I thought this was probably a gimmick but it isn’t and I’m glad I took a chance. Oh and I’ve had zero hair show up on the massager so it’s not yanking out my hair when I’m massaging which was something I worried about.

This is so worth it!!.

This product does everything it’s supposed to! Easy to use and hold, it leaves my scalp feeling properly cleaned, refreshed and exfoliated. I love using it when I use shampoo particularly with my curly hair.

One useful tip I would like to share though is that it should be used in one direction and not in circular motions and that might result in it pulling some hairs out which is a big no no! Overall it helps with itchiness and is fantastic whether you have oily or dry hair.

Would highly recommend to anyone and the great thing about it is that you can use it as often or as little as you like!.

It definitely does its job however it smells awful. I’m not sure what the smell is but I have yet to be able to get rid of it. I suffer from smell sensitivity as a migraine symtom so I am not able to wear it when I need it most.

If the smell wasn’t there I would use it all the time because it does a great job of staying cold and blocking out light.

Not sure how I survived my first 40 years of migraines and headaches without this! I rotate two in the freezer while suffering and can sleep off the migraine with minimal medication 🙏 two answers to my prayers.

These things are so amazing!! I don’t know who invented them, but whoever it was thank you! They give you such a great feeling, tingling your head and activating your senses. Everybody needs to try one of these at least once in their life.

So fun and these make a great gift for people as well. Still love them to this day and would tell any and everybody about how magnificent they are. Instant burst of euphoria, they are especially great when someone else does give you a head massage with it.

Easy to use.

First I purchased one of these, after being “scalped” at a hair salon. I was trying everything possible to get my hair to grow back in as fast as possible. My friend and daughter liked this so much that I bought one for each of them, and they like it just as much as I do.

I message my scalp at night, add blueberry and mint tea scalp treatment, bend my head down to my knees, message with the tool again for a few more minutes, then put a shower cap on and leave the scalp treatment in all night.

It seems to be working and I hope that by the end of April, my hair will be back to the length I wanted it to be in the first place!.

I bought one of these many years ago and I absolutely love it. If you like to have your hair stroked or have your boyfriend, husband, or partner run their fingers thru your hair then you will love this.

Although, not as good as your mate it will sure send tingles down your spine. I could sit for hours while binge watching and use this on my head or better yet have your mate do it for you. The cheaper ones are not as good since the wires are thinner and usually not covered at the tip so it can scratch your head.

I payed $15 for mine and it is still in good shape and works like a charm every time. Great purchase.

My significant other truly loves it. He is balding and is convinced he not only loves the luxurious scalp massage sensation but also thinks it helps prevent hair loss.

These are great for gifts or for personal use as they give a amazing sensation when used on the scalp or other parts of the body. You wouldn’t think something so simple could bring such pleasure

I buy a new one ever year. I like having different color handles. I use it once a day on my husband. it’s not very good quality tho but for how cheap they are i replace once a year. i buy these for all my friends.

I like using mine once I get out of the shower. It feels super weird the first tim you try it but it is a good weird. It kind of tickles a little. You have to make sure to put in back in its packing to help prevent any of the rods from bending the wrong way.

This scalp massager is great! It feels so good on my head and really relaxes me. It is really affordable and effective! I would definitely recommend this product to people who would like to relax or promote hair growth.

I used this massage brush everyday for the past six months. I watched the videos on how to use it FYI. I followed the morocco method plan, I used all the shampoos, brushed my head three times a day and massaged.

I did this for six months and if anything my hair looks more thin! I am sad to say that after following all their directions my hair seemed to only get worse. I honestly blame this horrible scalp massager.

This thing pulls my hair out. I didn’t massage rough or anything like that. I was super gentle. I had this voice in my head that kept saying “its only weak hair and stronger hair will grow. ” I only used it once a day and it there would be close to 100-150 hairs it pulls out.

I consider myself to be a health nut, I eat clean, and exercise 6 days out of the week. its not my lifestyle that is causing this hair loss. I don’t know, maybe my hair just can’t handle this kind of massager.

I bought this as a last minute Prime deal after having read an article about it. I deal with severe migraines and also regular sinus headaches. This past week, prior to purchasing this item, my sinus headaches and pressure were especially terrible.

I have been desperate to find something that would provide relief. When I tell you this thing delivers – it totally does!!!! It not only relieved my sinus pain and pressure but was soooooooooo relaxing.

Bought this 2 weeks ago. Opened it to see it’s not the same model that is wildly popular on Amazon. This is a new version with a cut in the middle so the mask folds in half. When it starts massaging, the mask falls off your face as the pressure from the side massagers is strong enough to make the mask start folding back up.

Not worth your money. Mine specifically had issues with the touch buttons, wouldn’t turn on until the 5th or 6th try. Tried starting a marketplace return ticket; sent a video that the seller says they did not receive, and resent the video plus a screenshot.

Seller is now unresponsive.

Since approximately 2001, I have been struggling with migraines. They have become debilitating and I do everything I can to decrease my risk of another one. No one item is going to fix the migraines.

I’ve taken medications, used heat/cold, avoided all of the fun foods/drinks, used a transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation device, gotten massages, etc. I had a four month migraine and hit a wall.

No one item will fix migraines. But, the right combination of preventatives and abortives can make the biggest difference in lifestyle and daily functioning. For me, I know that during a migraine I need to take my abortive medication, dim my lights, minimize noise, put a cold pack on my head, put heat on my neck and shoulders, use my device if needed and then wait.

Why do you need to know all of this? You don’t. I don’t want you to feel alone and you aren’t. Hopefully, though, you saw the part about the heat on the neck and shoulders. An issue I ran into was finding a heating pad that would stay on my neck and shoulders without rolling off if I shifted in bed.

Also, I’ve actually had an electric blanket catch fire while I was sleeping so sleeping with the heating pad isn’t going to work. I tried it on the neck as a curiosity and on my head in the hopes that it would be a great resource during migraines.

Disclaimer: I love huggaroo products. I do. The material is soft, stretchy and soothing and the materials are of good quality. I was excited to see that the huggaroo headache wrap had a large strip of velcro to hold it to my head.

I can use it cold on my head (though this is a bit less effective than using it for heat) and, the bigger draw for me, is being able to put it around my neck. I also purchased their new weighted blanket (I will review on the item) and find that there is consistency between the products, which isn’t always the case when you order multiple products from a company.

I know you probably weren’t looking for a neck wrap. This isn’t intended to be a neck wrap. Having multiple uses makes this product invaluable. My migraines are tricky. My son likes heat on his head during them because it relaxes him and he also really enjoys the huggaroo brand items.

I tried the heat and the cold functions and found I like the heat for my neck and the cold for my head. An added benefit of the velcro is that, when the headwrap goes warm for me (using it on my head after it is chilled), I can slip a tiny little ice pack underneath it and the head wrap will hold it snug to my head.

The ONLY criticism I have about the headwrap is that if you have a very large head, it would be wonderful if there were a couple of different size options. Overall, though, most people will be able to use this very comfortably.

If you haven’t found the right mix for your migraines, don’t give up. I have added this hot/cold headache wrap to my ’emergency migraine kit’ that I keep next to me most of the time. I will not hesitate to order more from Huggaroo.

My teenage son and I are both migraine sufferers, often having 2-3 a week. We have tried all of the head wrap products out there, and this is by far our favorite. We both prefer cold relief during a migraine, so we typically keep this in the freezer so that it is ready to go when we need it.

The wrap is consistently cold and provides even relief to the back of the neck and the front of the face/head simultaneously. It is also easily the softest wrap around, which makes a huge difference in comfort, as we typically like to lie down with a migraine.

In this way, I feel like I have gotten two amazing products for the price of one! When I warm it up I sometimes use it in conjunction with my Huggaroo neck and shoulder wrap for the ultimate in relaxing comfort! Hot or cold, this wrap always delivers, and I am planning to order another so my son will have his own! The quality of this wrap is unparalleled, the materials are so soft and even the packaging is great quality and perfect for gift giving.

The massager is soothing to the scalp. The brush massages and cleans the scalp from shampoos and conditioner removing all residue from the scalp. My scalp feels good afterwards. The scrubber is not harsh on the scalp.

I really like how the massager feels! I used it while washing my hair and did a light massage. The bristle are not too hard or too soft- just right. An from an ergonomics standpoint, the design fits perfectly in my hand.

My title calls this an “extra” product bc i’ve gone years not using one. I have tried shampoos with nubs built in to help with scalp care but they are just too flimsy and aggravating to work with. After just one use with this one, my hair and scalp felt really good & clean.

It just feels good to have your scalp gently scrubbed, and i don’t have time to do it with my fingers. The nubs on this are firm silicone, but not too hard – so you won’t be scraping your scalp, even applying pressure.

It’s easy to use, and store in the shower. I’ve been using this 1-2 times a week, I see and feel a huge difference. This is better than any wooden ones, much gentler. I have very long, fine hair, as long as you use it correctly I don’t think you’ll have a problem with tangles.

I got the Pacifica- Clarifying Scalp Masseger to help clear up my dandruff issues along with trying to help exfoliate my scalp. This product ended up doing both extremely well and then some! I have tried many shampoos, conditioners, hair masks you name it I’ve tried it! But nothing has worked better than this cute message! It was able to gently remove any excess dead skin, product, and oil from my scalp.

Leaving my whole head feeling hydrated, not itchy, and without Dandruff!!! I absolutely love this little guy! I definitely recommend to anyone with sensitive scalp issues or bad dead skin build up or just wanting to hydrate your scalp!.

I have really enjoyed this product. I get build up on my scalp which I have tried using other shampoos specific for treating that problem, but nothing ever seems to work. I also do not feel I am able to really get the job done with my fingertips alone.

This scalp scrubber is absolutely amazing. I dried all sorts of anti itching shampoos, and dandruff shampoos. Nothing worked! I thought to try this and fell on love. My daughter also loves hers. It just helps to gently exfoliate your scalp.

This also encourages hair group. I also ordered one for my dog he has thick hair and it so tough to really clean. He leans into this when I scrub him with it. He even likes this too! His hair also feels softer now.

This product is one of my best purchases I made from L’ange. At least a couple times a week I massage my scalp with the Scalp Saveur. It feel so good for one, especially for me who suffers from chronic migraines, but it also is great at distributing the oils that are sitting on your scalp.

You unclog anything that’s clogged in your scalp and that way your hair has a chance to grow even more. Afterwards I use the detangling spray bc your hair will be a bit of a rats nest from all that movement and you want to make sure you lose as little hair a possible when you brush it out.

Always start unknotting from the bottom and use the L’ange vented brush. Your hair will be nice and shiny afterwards and your scalp refreshed. You can also use it in the shower with your shampoo and conditioner.

Alway be gentle with it, you don’t want to scrub your scalp, you want to massage.

I have had some sores on my head that I’ve had for 20 plus years!!!! I was told to use a hair net for surgery on my head while I was having bunion surgery on my right big toe. Ever since then these sores have caused me great pain.

I ordered this one for my husband and the delivery was amazing. I’d received afternoon after I had placed an order in the morning. The product used. The replacement part was not new and I liked the quality itself although my husband didn’t like it that much.

The heating feature was not hot enough to feel and he was expecting stronger massager since it was very mild to him. Had to return.

I needed a back spot massager and since I live alone, my only choice had been to sit on one of the shiatsu chair pads. Getting it to stop in the right spot and work on the muscle was tedious, painful but usually a wasted effort.

Those pads are good for the entire back; not one specific spot. The long handle and the 4 speeds are just what I needed. I keep it beside my office chair and whenever I get a tinge of a spasm, I grab it and work it out before it’s too late.

, It’s a little heavy for an old gal but still manageable. Well worth the money. Am hoping it will last.

Very dissatisfied. It is not powerful enough. I had a HoMedics Percussion massager previously which was much better and more powerful than this one. I searched for the other ones model number unsuccessfully and decided to try this one, huge disappointment.

This is SO AMAZING! Oh my word, I am all about the head scratches and head massages, and this device does it well! It fits perfectly when I start at the top of my head and work it down. It reaches to the area behind my ears and man it will give you cold chill every time! Very relaxing and really helps you unwind.

There are tons of brands of these spider-like head massagers! Close your eyes and ease your headache pain with as little movement as possible. These will reach all areas of your head without allowing your hair to interrupt its magical powers.

I bought this because it was a great deal. but I’d buy it again and again if anything were to happen to mine. My husband, adult children and several friends have all used it and the result is the same.

I originally purchased this for my husband, when I received the head and neck massager obviously I used it on myself and decided that I now have to order him his own. Not only is it relaxing and feels amazing to use this on your head but it’s also beneficial for your hair health.

I previously bought a cheap scalp massager and it was absolutely rubbish. This one on the other hand is great to use to stimulate hair growth. It doesn’t pull on the hair like glass ones do or other cheaper scalp massagers.

This is a must have item for all the hair lovers who are into hair care. Hair oiling is great and all but the true hair growth lies in the stimulation of the scalp/hair follicles.

I’ve been using a sulphate free shampoo for years. After a recent hair cut with a curly hair specialist who recommended cowashing, I started to use the Bouclème curl cleanser. This little scalp massager has worked wonders! I’m able to get a better clean than just using the pads of my fingers and can cover a larger areas of my scalp.

I genuinely think this has made a world a difference, my scalp feels cleaner because of it and my hair is looking so much better. Definitely recommend. The only reason why I haven’t given it 5 stars is because there are definitely cheaper versions out there.

The prints are flexible so you are able to get a good scrub/massage without damaging the skin so that is something to consider. Overall I’m really pleased with it and will continue to use it while transitioning to cowashing!.

So good. Genuinely feel like my scalp is cleaner and less irritated after washing with this instead of regularly. It’s softer than the scalp brush I had in the past. Definitely prefer this silicon one to the plastic one from before that was less comfy on my scalp.

I don’t have a microscopic camera to see a difference but I do feel the difference and my hair feels softer and silkier. It has silicone tips so you’re not hurting your scalp like you would with nails or plastic tips.

Fits nice in your palm too. Hair growth wise, not sure if it’s helping it, my hair doesn’t really grow beyond a certain point. Price is very well too!! Much cheaper than other companies.

(I received this from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. ) I love this! Admittedly, I think it’s a little pricey but I can say that my one from the dollar store, which was $1. 25, now in the trash.

The biggest difference was that the bristles (?) are flexible but the dollar store one has more solid bristles. So this one from ceremonia, moves over your scalp smoothly. This is very important to me because I had brain surgery a few years ago and have lingering head pain.

Had I know known that not all scalp massagers are made the same, I would not have bought the dollar store option. Spend the money and get one that feels as nicely as this one. When I need to replace the few sample I will do so with Ceremonia.

They say hair wellness begins at the scalp. I used this products for a couple of weeks to see if it lived up to it’s promises of healthy hair growth, shine, and frizz control. And while I have naturally long hair to begin with, I can say that this product does leave my hair feeling smooth and shiny.

This great little massager really works with both vibrations and/or gentle heat. Using after a major op to ease healing muscles. Makes a big difference. And at a good price. Not like one of the expensive hammer types but ideal for fatigued or sore areas.

I initially bought this to treat a calf strain, NO! Really! It was so effective that my husband and I decided to experiment a bit more. Here are our scenarios: 1. I use it at the base of his spine, both the massager and the infrared.
