20 Best Hdmi Port For Ps4 (2023 Updated)

I tried a different brand but only way to get side by was to get and go to box and use button. Not possible with remote to the device. This one has workedgreat so far and it displays up to 4K which the other didn’t do.

Only had for few hours but far superior to other one from Amazon. The side by side is distorted when selecting from remote. I did find a work around in answers to go to box and hold œMode button for 5 second and changed to 2 equal pictures not distorted.

That should bea part of the remote maybe hold the specific button to change aspect ratio. See picture. Also the device doesn’t support Dolby Vision which is another disappointment and it should.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I don’t want auto switching HDMI switches. I want to choose what’s displayed. This device is the best you’ll find without spending $1000’s on professional grade equipment.

The quad mode is perfect. I use it on my arcade console. I had resolution issues and my TV wouldn’t allow me to change it. No clue on how or if I could change it on my gaming console. This little box had me covered.

Also, all of the cords attach to the back. I hate when these types of devices have cords coming out the front and the sides. It’s a bit expensive for an HDMI switch but it’s worth it.

I have recently tried many HDMI switches, they were all lacking. All of the switches that I tried under $60 (about a dozen different ones) worked fine until you had different refresh rates or resolutions going through them.

This one has no problem taking data from sources that are not equal, and presenting it to the screen. But it can do so much more!Picture in picture? Sure! Different layouts of PiP? No problem. Details too.

The power line does not simply plug into this. Once plugged in you screw plug surround into the casing so it cannot get accidentally removed. Want a secondary monitor? It has a VGA out. And audio out for monitoring.

(It’s only stereo, so whilst you could use this for all your audio, but your 5. 1 or 7. 1 surround-sound would be wasted!)The picture quality is amazing. The sound (through HDMI) loses no quality. This is an excellent S switch.

Really good quality. A cable isn’t always just a cable and you can tell a difference in a cable that is certified vs one that is not. Tried a cheaper cable off Amazon and noticed a slower time switching between 60hz and 120hz.

This cable is a couple second delay swapping, the other one was enough time to have my monitor start going into power save mode. This cable has excellent flexibility, good length, able to be routed without the cable being pulled and putting stress on the hdmi port like the shorter one that came with the console was doing.

Also a nice touch is the logo. If you had multiple hdmi cables and you were just looking to adjust the one system the logo makes it easier to distinguish what cable needs to be pulled or what hdmi port it’s located in.

Honestly this cable should have come in the box with the console.

The HDMI Cable that comes with the PS5 is 1. 5 meters or about 5 feet. It was just barely too short for me to setup the new PS5 as I had to get creative with its placement due to its size. This PowerA HDMI Cable is an officially licensed Sony PlayStation option which provides up to 3 meters or 10 feet and fits with the default PS5 Color Scheme.

Works perfectly and gives me some breathing room on cable routing. The cable itself is also about twice as thick as the cable that comes with the PS5. I can only imagine this is additional shielding within the cable.

Bought to compliment my ps5 that bestbuy does not sell according to signs in store. Know many people that have bought one but signs in store say they are not available in store. Why advertise a product and not help customers buy one.

This vanguard was perfect! I bought it for my Video Game club for high school. Its portable, easy, and simple. Sure, it didnt come with a remote but it does have buttons on the TV that are all working in good condition.

The TV also has great quality and is the perfect size. Not to big to pack around, but not to small to where you have to be up close squinting in order to see. The straps are also in great condition and can fit just about any console or DVD player.

Overall, this product is a four star winner. Im very happy with my purchase.

The perfect solution for traveling with your game system! The display quality is very nice (although I do have a darker area in the top right corner that does not diminish the game play anyway). The speakers were definitely louder and much more crisp than I had expected.

My setup did ship with the XBox One padding that the Gaems website had referred to. The ONLY reason I did not give this 5 stars isn’t even the fault of the box itself, it’s the fault of how large the XBox One is, and how they make their systems.

The “brick” of a power cord and game controller will not fit inside for travel which means you won’t be able to fit everything nicely into one case. For me it’s not really an issue considering I have to place my Turtle Beach wireless headset in another bag anyway.

The instructions that come it do make note that you cannot transport these items inside the case. That would be the only negative, but like I said, that is the fault of the XBox One, not the Gaems case.

With my current living situations we were always fighting over who plays at what time on what TV and I looked into this. This purchase is one I would highly recommend. The entire system works fantastic and is great just to have sitting around.

It’s great for when I have to go over to someone’s house who doesn’t have a console, comes with straps to carry it around. The monitor quality is fantastic and although it’s a bit bulky, it’s very much worth investing into especially if you go back and forth a lot.

I love this HDMI cable. It’s much thinner than the one I had used before. The old one I had used was thicker and very stiff. This cable is much thinner and flexible and therefore very easy to manage.

I bought 2 of them. One for my TV in the living room and the other for the one in the bedroom. Would buy this again. You can’t beat the price either. Very good quality.

Nice thin, long HDMI cable. This is long enough to let me put the cable into the cable management channel on my dual monitor mount. Thin enough to allow others cables to fit in the channel, too. The cable works and everything is tucked away neatly.

This is a simple connection cable for recharging something. It doesn’t transfer any signals. I bought this to connect my monitor to computer but it didn’t work. I had to buy another cable around $10 at Walmart, which works great.

Don’t waste your money on this cable.

This is an okay console for gaming and exclusives but if you want a more stable experience the Xbox one x is more consistent when it comes to even basic things such as being able to connect to the internet.

This is my second PlayStation and it literally will not connect to my WiFi no matter how much I trouble shoot, change my DNS settings, attempt to set it up with WPS. This console is a serious frustration and let down when it comes to just connecting to the internet.

Unless you can hardline your PlayStation I probably wouldn’t recommend this console for online gaming, it’s quite terrible about randomly disconnecting even in those rare instances it works as it’s supposed to.

Sony seriously oversells this console and basically lies on their website about it being a 4K gaming console. It upscales to 4K with checkerboarding, which is hardly true 4K. If I could go back I’d save my money.

PlayStation is more and more subpar as the generations progress. Take for instance the PlayStation 5 consoles aren’t even all the same, some have a different number of fan blades causing some consoles to be way louder than others.

Pretty unacceptable from a corporation with the resources like Sony has. Pathetic console performance overall and sub par internet capabilities. Definitely not worth $400.

I definitely think it’s an upgrade from the last Playstation 4 consoles but not in a significant manner to persuade me to upgrade to it if you have a perfectly fine older generation playstation 4. It is lighter, faster, and quieter but it’s only lacks speed on the home screen area not rlly in processing the games.

And usually that tends to be from the owner not cleaning out the back of the console system. I highly recommend this item if you do not own a PlayStation 4 at all , but if you already have an older PS4 than I don’t think it’s worth the upgrade.

Save the money for the PS5 or even the new Xbox consoles. I think Microsoft and Sony are unique in their own ways but don’t think u can go wrong with either one. (PS5 is my preference though).

Pros: My child absolutely loves it, graphics are great, it passes the time and I’m able to set time limits. Overall a really good product the only improvements I belive should be added have been listed below.

Cons: The only improvements I would advise is the time it takes to download a game, one game took nearly an hour and my child was quite bored waiting for this to process and here isn’t an option to pass the time with playing another game.

It also, seems that you can only get 2 player games online which I don’t allow online gameplay, so it’s a bit disheartening when family or friends come to visit and they’re not able to play the game as well.

Hopefully I’ll be able to find games which allow 2 players without having to access online play.

This is a great product for the money. I purchased to run from Sky down stairs up into the bedroom as the picture quality on the large screen upstairs through the RF2 was poor. We kept the RF2 to enable us to continue to change channels from upstairs through that cable.

We now have a great picture upstairs as well as down. Easy to sink into the wall. You loose a tiny bit of quality of picture due to the length of cable I imagine, but thats being super picky as most people wouldn’t notice I would recommend this product.

I bought this as i was sick of excessive cable hanging around behind my TV and hifi – length is ideal. Haven’t compared the picture quality with another HDMI lead but not noticed anything substandard about it.

This has worked fine with a BenQ WQHD display. Only used with HD video & office apps so far. Not tried with demanding games etc.

This box is well made and does the job switching between ps5 and several other consoles. The only downside is that having to trace a power transformer to run the unit. Bought one to fit it. Power source was correct but connecting plug to small.

Left with a transformer I cannot use. The seller should be giving you the option to purchase the correct transformer ti fit the switcher box, other than that it’s useless until you get transformer.

My previous switcher has failed, in addition to not supporting my Apple 4K TV box. Using the correct HDMI cable, this one did. my friend recommended a very valuable HDMI box to me and quickly resolved the problem.

Incidentally, it comes with a power cable, but it’s not really needed because it receives power through HDMI cable. Thanks for a great company!.

The cable is a bit on the stiff side, but that is to be expected in a longer (over 2 meters) HDMI cable. It arrives looking exactly like the second picture, the one with the coils NOT artfully arranged to look as big as possible.

The only minor downside was that the shipping time was enough that they smelled pretty strongly like plastic on arrival and I had to air them out for a couple days before that went away. I imagine if I stored them in a small gear box, that smell might come back.

But in actual use, there is no problem.

I ordered my Mom a 4K blu ray player and was looking for a good HDMI cable. A lot of these cables are ultra expensive for no real reason and get more expensive by the foot. This cable was a great price, especially at 12 feet long, which is the perfect length to reach about anywhere.

My Mom hooked this from the 4K TV I got her to the 4K player easily and said the picture looked phenomenal. She loves the quality this cable provides on the apps and the 4K movies she got. She is very pleased and I was very pleased with the price.

This cable has better connections than I have had before. All cables whether USB, HDMI, or any miniature connectors are subject to wear when plugged in and unplugged numerous times. This cable has a secure fit (more precise) than any I had before.

Does not jiggle and lose contact. I am well pleased with this cable.

I ordered this splitter when Amazon didn’t come through. Their splitter didn’t show for a few weeks and I have Prime. This splitter was easy to install. You do need a HDMI cord to go from the tv to the splitter.

I hooked up my Roku and my Nintendo Switch without a problem! So happy I don’t have to disconnect one to use the other!.

Works as advertised. These are a little more consistent than the auto switching ones that don’t handle always on devices very well. It seems solidly built.

Doesn’t auto switch. You are required manually push the button to change units. Spend a little more and purchase one that senses the unit in use and automatically plays that unit.

I purchased this for my Xbox Series X and a soundbar due to audio difficulties with the sound syncing up to a 55RU8000 TV and a HW-A650 soundbar via ARC. An audio extractor via optical was meant to be my solution (what this item is) however it did nothing.

Set it up correctly and it showed no sign of life as no signal would pass through nor does it have aiggt or any visual indication that it’s enabled. Tried numerous USB power methods via the tv, phone charger, panamax, the Xbox and nothing.

Tired most basic audio settings and adjustments and nothing. This thing could be DOA or it’s blocking the signal for Xbox passing but I don’t think that’s the issue. It should be universal. Unit didn’t work as intended or advertised so I will be returning it for a refund.

Might wanna add on this does not have HDMI 2. 1 support for 4k @120hz. It’s only HDMI 2. 0b which caps at 4k/60hz. Astro’s has a support page and a blog you can find by googling specs of the unit because it’s not on the box, no instructions and not on BBY’s info page.

Not sure about HDR support. My Xbox was configured to 1440p, 120hz, 10bit, HDR10, VRR, ALLM and no setting anything higher or lower on or off could get it to work.

I’m very disappointed in this product. It’s sole purpose is to split the signal coming from the HDMI into video (hdmi) and sound (optical), it did not deliver. I spent a good 2. 5hrs trying to get the settings right and unfortunately after I found setting that suited my needs the unit was only good for about 2 hours and then stopped outputting video.

I could hear the sound but couldn’t see anything. I tried different ports, different cables, power cycling, you name it. All to no avail. Sadly I had to return it to the store. After some more digging, i discovered that you do not need this if you have the option for optical out on your TV.

Still. considering the headset is $300, the adapter is 40, an extra base for my Xbox is $100, and the 48mbs(HDMI 2. 1) cables are about $30 each the setup and ease of use shouldn’t require so much work.

Sound Quality: 9/10. Design:6/10 The inclusion of the PS5 profiles that list attachment unlocks is quite useful, but it does require that you hook it up to the PC to adjust the profiles. So, while you can customize a profile to your specific needs it does require a PC.

This was not a big deal for me personally but it could be a big deal for some. Additionally, it does add quite a bit of glitter to your desk due to the extra wires because it is splitting the audio data from the HDMI data stream and routing it to the headset.

Kind of a clever trick to make their wireless headsets compatible with PS5s. The additional wires added quite a lot of clutter to my setup personally, but the audio quality was superior in my A50s in comparison to my Logitech G Pro X Wirelss, which I prefer for PC Gaming.

This is my 3rd ps4 and will be my last. Gets hot too fast like real fast. I’m on for an hour and it starts to freeze and this isn’t the only concern when it comes to the ps4. Every ps4 I’ve had has the same issue’s and I’ve spent way too much cash on Sony and it feels like this is a MONEY grab since I Keep having to get repairs and replacements for the PS4 and frankly it’s getting old.

let me get into the PS4 issue’s. Gets way too hot 🔥, freezes, crashes & doesn’t last long until it NEEDS replaced or repairs. Rest mode is a mess and downloading can cut off while in rest mode and the downloading and copying nonsince is 🐌 slow.

Like 16+ hour’s if your internet isn’t fast. the airflow clogs easily compared to my ps2 and xbox360 and the ps4 sounds like an airplane in turbulence. The storage gets corrupt easily if you have too many thing’s going on the ps4.

The warranty for the PS4 only lasts a short while and it doesn’t cover the majority of issue’s this console has and if you buy digital game’s don’t expect a refund after the 14 day time line. Why do console warranties only last a year is beyond me and most consoles need work after two years realistically.

it would be nice to have a 7 year warranty on these consoles because apparently their life span is supposed to be 7 years with my ps4s it’s been like 1 1/2 year’s until issues come up. I hardly play on my ps4 and I deeply regret buying this console and getting digial game’s That I can’t get money back for.

Before you buy any gaming systems do your homework. I sure didn’t know this was going to cost me so much for so little joy.

I purchased a PS4 PRO console at the beginning 2019. Its one of the best consoles I have owned, but when you have a mechanical or mainboard fault the pain begins. The Blu-Ray drive failed 11/02/2022.

I took the console to a local video console repairer in Brisbane after 2 weeks I found out that the PRO console of mine is unrepairable. This is due to a failure on a circuit board which is located in the Blu-Ray drive itself.

The issue is you can’t replace the Blue-Ray with a new one as there are also chips on the mainboard which only recognize the original Blue-Ray drive, so replacing it with a new drive won’t work as the console won’t detect the disks.

I basically have a $460 paperweight now. The only way in can be repaired is to completely replace the mainboard with a Blue-Ray that is a matched pair to the mainboard. I find it utterly ridiculous that you can’t replace the drive on the PS4 PRO with a new one.

I still have my original PlayStation console from 1996. I have had the drive and laser replaced a number of times over the years with no issue. This is nothing more that purposeful built-in redundancy to make the consumer throw the console in the bin and buy a new one.

I’ve gotten 2 Xbox one X from this 232 inc refurb-company. And they have been mint, and run very well (and quiet). Decided okay I’ll get a Pro since mine bit the dust a while back, it was a God Of War SE.

The top came off when I picked it up, it looked like my cats had been on top of it, scratched up horribly. It ran so loud I had to shut it off twice because I really thought it was going to just blow up.

The wireless didn’t work, and it just felt like a used piece of junk overall. Not saying they’re all like that, but they are older consoles. So I wasn’t surprised as they don’t sell the newer quieter models from about 2018 or so with the small plugs.

So be cautious if you get one, luckily you’re local Target will return it no problem.

I ask for Second day delivery and I receive 4 partial shipments! I lost my client, now I’m stuck with the product!

Bought this to connect a new display to PC. No video output after connecting. Updated graphics drivers and latest Windows updates. Had to Google the product page on Belkin’s website to find out that it did not support 4K.

I needed a display port to HDMI adapter and used it to connect my laptop to a large TV monitor in the conference room to go over things with visitors at work. I already had a hdmi cable that came with my 28 in computer monitor.

It worked nicely as the adapter was perfect. I had ordered on line and it came on Monday for me to use it on Tuesday.

This cable works well and provides a clean signal. The only reason I did not give this cable more stars is because I personally think it can/should be priced a little more competitively. I say this because there are many retailers on A*****n that offer similar, well-rated, same length (or longer) cables at a much lower price point.

But, if you need a cable NOW and cannot wait for delivery from an online retailer, this will do the trick for you.
