I didn’t know the PS5 had an HDMI brand. Had to be good since Sony is apart of it. And it’s not a cheap or flimsy version they tossed in. It’s quality and durable.

Too bad Sony doesn’t add the HDMI cable with the PS5 unit in the box. You definitely need the Ultra HDMI for the PS5 when it comes to speed quality.

I’m a retired IT professional with decades of experience using various branded cables including HDMI cables. Monster has been a consistently good brand and is my go-to source for at-home cabling needs.

Monster continues to expand the endurance and reliability and speeds of their HDMI cables. I think they offer the widest, most reliable products in this category of digital products. I use this Ultra High-Speed 8K Cobalt HDMI cable to connect my laptop to a large-screen monitor.

I also use other Monster products at home for surge protection for my TV. Overall this is a good product at a good price point for what all it delivers.

At first when I hooked up my Blu ray player to my tv I didn’t notice a drastic change but it did look clearer. The biggest noticable change was using it on my projector for a Halloween video. I accidentally damaged my cable I was using for a rear projected Halloween display.

I switched to 5his cable and noticed my projection was a lot clearer. When I first ran the video, I thought it was the video. Then the new cable improved it so I was impressed. On lower grade TV’s and DVD players you might not see a great improvement but as you move up and replace low end cables you’ll notice a difference.

This cable works well for a long run between Sony Projector (VPL-VW665ES) and Onkyo Receiver Before I used a HDMI Extender (Altona) and recently it started having sync issues. I have NVIDIA Shield hooked to the Onkyo and most probably recent updates to Shield caused the problems.

I had to switch inputs or switch between different formats to try get the picture to show up every time after power on. This cable solved all those problems. I tried [email protected] and 4k [email protected] (max for the projector) and no issues.

No problems with overlay menus or various content. This cable works.

If you’re looking for lagless PC to 4K TV connection, this cable works great. I hadn’t heard of monoprice before trying to solve my lag issues connecting my PC to my tv, but I’m glad I found out about it.

This is also my first time using an active HDMI cable. Works perfectly.

So let me lay down the facts no matter what the disagreements are. Facts HDMI cords can make a Hugh difference in picture sound and speed quality if you’re unit or device has the potential. If your hoping to see a big in quality by buy some of this expensive cords with a low budget TV or Projector forget it.

A $12 off brand hdmi cord will look as good as $500 Audioquest HDMI cord. But if you have some high end stuff and depending on how high end and great quality it is buying these expensive Audioquest HDMI cords are most definitely worth it.

It will be a combination on all what you have them attached to. How good is either the TV or Projector you’re using? And are you pushing the sound through a Audio Receiver? How good is your audio receiver? Also from there do you have it hooked into a Blu Ray Player or computer or gaming system? How good is your hardware and is it good enough to take the upgraded higher end cords.

You put low end stuff with low end stuff and high end stuff with high end. And anyone who’s says that these cords don’t make a huge difference in quality apparently isn’t Operating with devices good enough to make the difference.

I have a BENQ LK 990 ultra 4K projector that cost around 10,000 dollars hooked with Sony’s flagship audio receiver Sony STR-ZA5000ES AV Receiver 9. 2-Channel. 4K pass through. Then hooked to a high end gaming computer that takes a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070.

I operated first with the standard cords and someone at Best Buy told me first to try the Audioquest 1 meter length cinnamon HDMI cords see if it makes a difference. Boom right away I saw a massive upgrade of performance in picture quality sound and speed.

So since I was impressed by the boost In quality and performance I took them back and decided to pay the extra money for the 1 meter length Audioquest Carbon HDMI cords which were over double the money for the same size cord.

And right of the bat even saw a difference in quality and performance jumping from the Cinnamon to the Carbon. Now was it as much of a difference from the jump from the standard cheap HDMI cords to the Cinnamon cords.

No but there was definitely a difference. So I do not recommend buying these cords if you have low end stuff because you won’t see a difference probably at all. But if you have spent good money on some high end stuff.

Most definitely give these a try.

This is a replacement for an AudioQuest Ocean HDMI cable I purchased less than two years ago. I was having issue with the Audio and Video cutting out from my Oppo UDP-205 UHD Audiophile disc player. I thought I was having an issue with the disc player, but I spoke with Ray my local Magnolia Rep & he recommended I swap cables.

That was the solve but I was surprised it was a cable problem as AudioQuest brags they are the best made. I called AudioQuest and explained the problem & was informed it was covered under warranty. They e-mailed an RMA form & I sent it back.

AudioQuest never responded again! So much for warranty service. Ray recommended I upgrade to the Carbon HDMI cable assuring me I would hear a difference. I was skeptical that a cable could improve audio & video but to my amazement there is a discernable difference especially in the Audio.

I listened to some specific musically demanding concert Blue Rays with the old cable and then switched to the new cable & listened again to get an A to B comparison. The added silver in the wiring definitely increases the signal strength.

The sound is crisper more energetic & the bass has more punch. The highs have more definition and I hear details in the music that I have not heard before. Made a believer out me!.

I have evaluated the performance of Audioquest’s higher bandwidth HDMI cables starting with the Carbon model. I was so completely blown away by the elevated improvements that it makes to video and audio that I became extremely curious what the models above it could do.

I tried the Vodka, then the Thunderbird, and found that both are better than the Carbon, especially the Thunderbird. I would even say that if you want to go above the Carbon, skip the Vodka and go straight for the Thunderbird.

The detail and dynamics are heavenly. I use my Apple TV to listen to live performances and DJ mixes on Youtube and I stream music as well. All of it sounded amazing. If you want the very best and you can afford it, don’t hesitate to try out the Audioquest Dragon HDMI.

This is the HDMI cable to use to connect your camera to your Ronin or other gimbal. It is far superior in performance and build quality over all other cables. This model is superior to ZILR’s standard 4K cable as the cable diameter is even smaller and the HDMI connectors lock extremely well.

This is a no brainer cable choice and you get what you pay for especially for professionals!.

Works great with my Z CAM S6 and Ninja V for recording ProRes Raw and the connection feels very secure; no chance this cable will come loose during a shoot.

Very reasonably priced. I watch Hulu, and gaming and provides quality picture on my HDMI T. V. Don’t let others convince you that a gold or copper plated HDMI connection is any better. I had a Sanyo Gold or Copper plated HDMI connection that failed in two years.

Spent over $30. This HDMI connection you will not regret purchasing. I purchased a few month’s ago. Working great since day 1. Hopefully will last much longer. The cord is thick and seems very durable.

12 feet long is an extra bonus. I had a 6 feet long HDMI cable paid $12 two years ago but both of them are working the same. Some mfgs plate thin copper coating, and sell like gold-plated price. I don’t find anything special on gold pated one.

This HDMI cable product is also good for 4K video. Love the product.

Cable worked fine for 8 months. Then suddenly every streaming on my Apple TV started saying ?HDCP error; please try another cable?. Plugging and unplugging the cable a couple of times worked but then the error became more frequent and now it?s permanent.

Whether it?s Disney+ or Netflix I get the HDCP error. I tried the same cable with XBox Series X and I get HDCP errors there too. Switching out to an older HDmI error resolved the issue. So it?s definitely this cable.

I previously had an 8K cable by Zeskit that had fantastic reviews, but whenever I was PC gaming on my TV at 4k/120hz I experience black screen flickering issues consistently. At first I thought it was my display, but I have an LG CX and have read no issues that anyone has had with the TV as it is quite high quality.

A lot of HDMI cables for this value are cheaply made. This one is actually good quality and feels like it’s going to last.

Woah! Very good quality! Very durable! It does not tell you specs on the package. But you can always look on the website. Compared to other HDMI cords. A lot better. I reccommend these! Just take a look on how much thicker they are.

I bought this because somehow, my new laptop wifi card does not work after HDMI plugin. It turns out those cables will have interference with other parts if not isolated properly. Clearly Amazon Basics does not have the same isolation as this one.

So if you are in same situation, this cable should solve the problem. Unless the motherboard design is even worse than my new laptop. And it looks very very well built. I returned my new laptop.

I like the length of this HDMI 2. 1. I can easily connect my TV to my audio video receiver. It improves video and sound qualities as compared to using my free and old HDMI cables that are provided by TV manufacturers.

I have purchased high end cables before (audio quest and such) and for years I believed the quality of the cables translate to the quality of the sound and image. I am happy to say I am wrong when it comes to image.

I personally witnessed my high end brand new 8k HDMI cables go up against these rather inexpensive cables. It was tested at a university engineering department to measure speed and several elements of data that I honestly cannot tell you what they mean.

End result, no discernible difference. Though I am sad I wasted money on the high end cable, I am pleased with the result. I have purchased quite a few more for my oleds and the result is shocking. High end cables do not need high end prices.

Though I am still unconvinced with pure audio cables, HDMI mono price actually are great!!!!!!.

Got this cable and thought it was of great value. However, once installed, I noticed my receiver was having issues playing back the sound from our TV via CEC. I thought perhaps my brand new TV and receiver were configured wrong, but on a whim, I got out an older HDMI cable and the sound returned.

It seems that the connecting pins inside the male end are the point of failure. I further confirmed this by slightly jiggling and adjusting the tension on the cord and the sound would come and go. Went back to the old cable and the sound was just fine.

Maybe I received a dud, but really was hoping that I wouldn’t have to deal with a return/replacement on a simple cable that plugs in.

I have bought a couple of HDMI 2. 1 cords and they have all stopped working except for this one. Paired with my RTX 3090 and Ryzen 7 5800X PC build, I am able to play games at 4K 120hz on my Samsung QLED perfectly.

The picture is clean and the frames are buttery smooth. I have also used this cord with my PS5 but since it can’t run games at 4k 120hz that look good there really is no point. Overall good buy if you are trying to maximize your device output.

Don’t work with ARC, plugged into Sony receiver, seemed like everything was fine, but when I adjust the volume the sound cuts out. My Monster 2. 0 works better with ARC without cutting out. Using this “2.

1” cable for my Blu-ray player, non 2. 1, seems to be handling it okay. The quality of the cable is suspect, rubber coating feels very thin and it feels like handling a wet noodle. Also, the “10” feet is closer to 8.

This is a pretty high quality cable. The cable is pretty thick, although I have seen thicker. I wish it was braided but this works just fine. I do feel like it could have been a little bit cheaper being Microcenter Brand.

8k cables in general are way overpriced though. If you need an 8k cable this will do the job well. I used it to connect my 3080 to my LG C1 Oled and it seems to work well.

Can’t say much other than it does everything they say it will. I went with the 10ft to accommodate my sim racing rig being in a separate part of the room from my desk! As always Micro Center made it super simple.

Bought this from my local microcenter after a salesperson said that it should support [email protected] I used it to my Strix RTX3090 and LG C9 oled tv but no signal was being passed. I tried another 48Gbps HDMI cable and it worked.

I would return the product but I unfortunately do not have the receipt.

I’ve purchased Monster cables for many years. Never been dissapointed. I could find less expensive cables, and they may even work just as good, but they may not last as long. Monster cables just seem to be designed for years of reliable service.

This cable is exceptionally well-made. It transfers data lightning fast. much faster than any other HDMI cable that I have owned in the past. I wasn’t sure initially whether I truly needed a cable cord that is 10 ft.

HDMI connector plates apart on installation. Waste of money. Don’t buy. I bought two, the second one is working but was put in with delicate hands!!!! With the lockdown measure at the time there was no way of sending the cable back so I just soaked up the loss and put it down to experience.

This HDMI cable is very high quality, the braided cable is nice looking and feels like it was made to last. The ends of the cable are also quite nice, they are flexible and do not seem as though they will have any issue fitting into almost any space.

Having 10 foot of cord is also very helpful and makes it easier to organize cables. Lastly, the video output from this cable seems to be very crisp, love the ability to use 4k and 8k HD video.

I needed to get a new HDMI cable for our new TV. The cable can be the weakest link sometimes. Having a quality HDMI cable makes a big difference in the transfer and quality of image and audio data from our source devices (Apple TV etc).

I ended up with a much better cable. This is Full HD 1080p/4K Ultra HD. I’ll probably never need another HDMI cable.

Chose this cord because of its added length (10 feet) and the “gold” connections with the hope that it, in fact, would be of high quality and speed. Not disappointed! The picture is very good, after a few minutes to get the “cyber flow” going.
