20 Best Hats For Bald Men (2023 Updated)

This hat is so awesome I already have 2 and will definitely be purchasing another one! I am a hat enthusiast and have looked at tens of thousands of different hats from all over the world and so far this particular cap is my all time favorite.

It can be folded, flattened, washed, and dries very quickly and doesn’t discolor. The design is also stylish and can be used in both outdoor activities and simply for fashion. The only thing I might change is rather than having the protruding drawstring on the back, have an adjustable nylon strap where the adjusted strap extra can be pushed back into the hat and concealed.

But that’s a minor feature and a preference call. The existing elastic works great for quick adjustments on the fly!.

I found my first Sunday Afternoons Sun Tripper at a thrift shop for cheap. It was the older Juniper model. I was an RV traveler, and that cap was my constant companion. Quality construction, comfortable, and better looking and fitting than a ball cap.

Fast forward five years, and my locks outgrew the cap, so I looked for a replacement. Sadly, they do not make the Juniper anymore ( WHY??, and PLEASE bring that color back!) I had to settle for the Timber color, which is a tad army green for me, but doable.

I subsequently purchased the Mineral color, which looked gray online, but has a decidedly blue tint to it. That was disappointing, as I was hoping for a more heather gray color. Also notable, is that the underside of the bill is not as dark as either the Mineral or Timber.

I wonder why, but I hope the anti-glare works as well as the other two colors. I am sight-impaired, and that is a very useful feature. Anyway, bring back the Juniper please, or get some more variety in colors.

But since they are such great hats, I guess I’ll work with what I have until something else is available. Great hats. need more colors!.

I usually cannot wear hats and bought this one for trial. LOVE IT! Someone said they want a pony tail hole. If MFG does that, please leave original as is for all of us who do not need that. This hat looks good on me, is soft, comfortable, stylish, and I like the spf rating.

Dux always has the best waterfowl products. I wear my shirts of the month everywhere. And the hats just compliment everything so well. I own several dux hats and will definitely get more.

Very warm and spicy rose! Should not be used if you live in warm and hot weather. The black pepper and saffron come out really strong as the top note. I barely get the rose at first. However when these notes die down, the rose starts to come out more.

Very mature and sophisticated rose scent for a woman. It’s not type of rose for a soft and feminine rose lovers as me. But I start to love it when it comes down to the middle and base note. I am able to wear it when I have a date dinner in winter time.

Less spicy and more rose when coming down to middle and base notes. Last very long time too. I wore it in the afternoon and then till dusk it become a sexy sensual rose that I like!.

I purchased 4 different L/XL “FLEXFIT” hats from JiffyShirts. com. They arrived in separate shipments. Within each box, the sizes were the same. However, between boxes, they were significantly different.

I bought this for my stubborn husband after one too many lost arguments over wearing sunblock. This has saved his head, neck, and shoulders from being burnt more times than I can count. After two years of wear, the only real sign of use is the grommet rings rusting out after regularly soaking it to “shape†it (because he thought the pool water would be fine).

As you can see, it holds its original shape. This was an awesome investment that I highly recommend!!.

The hat it’s self looks great. I purchased this hat for my boyfriend and he really liked it. The material and weave of the hat didn’t last much. I would like to say one and a half month before it started to come apart.

the use of the hat was 4-5 times a week so he did use it a whole lot. Love the color and style but it’s not a daily wear hat. If you only use it for fishing or something recreational I would recommend it.

Another fine hat I purchased from baldguysbeanies. I get plenty of compliment with this hat and most important keep the bald head warm.

Good quality hat. I followed instructions and sized up rather than down, and because straw hats are rigid it did shake on my head and would easily have blown off, but a follow-up order of sizing tape fixed it even better than I expected.

So, if you size up, just go ahead and get the tape, too. My only mild complaint — and it’s probably just my carpenter’s eye — is that the indents on the top are a little uneven, so the point is a little off center.

But I’ve never bought a hat like this before, so maybe that’s normal. It certainly isn’t very noticeable.

This is my second hat from Bailey. The first flat cap was purchased in a store and the XXL fit perfect. This one is a little larger and a bit loose. I wish they would provide something to insert to make it more snug.

That’s the difference between in store and online shopping.

Hat felt really small, almost like it would fit a child. Unfortunately too small to wear.

Ordered this cap, and also the identical one in red. Black one is good, but the one in red had a 1cm damage mark on the side. Looked like a pen mark or grease smudge. $30 for a basic cap (plus P&H on top of that) is not cheap, so that was disappointing.

Plus, CK still use AusPost despite Auspost’s ongoing delays so I had to wait longer than the timeframe provided by CK when I ordered them so that was a bummer. Returning it via post is a burden, and I don’t want to return the cap in person as I’d prefer not to enter a store filled with dodgy 15yo kids with bumbags… I probably won’t order anything from CK anytime soon based on the above.

Which is a shame because CK offers great variety, editions, colours, etc. Sorry guys.

Finish Line is the best. I got my sneakers and new timberland boots for the fall recently as well as this hat & some other Nike gear. I shopped online and also used After Pay & it was a seamless experience.

I bought this hat in the pewter color last August as an alternative to the usual baseball hat style I’d wear for days fishing on the beach and it has become more favorite hat because it’s so light and breathable, but still offers 50 UPF protection for my head, especially my ears and face, which the ball cap never did.

Leave your heavy cotton baseball caps home and get this hat for going to the beach or doing anything in the hot sun – no more sweaty brow or head, it’s amazing how comfortable this thing is. I bought a second one in khaki for trout fishing.

My wife even bought the women’s version, called the Solar Roller hat and she loves it too.

I goto this for my son, and thought with the neck strap it could handle wind. It can’t. It flops around and up like a sail. No stiffness at all. I tried even waxing it, but that didn’t help. Fjallraven’s hat is 1000 better as it keeps the sun off and won’t flap around in the breeze, letting the sun hit you full on.

Great hat. Sizes are slightly different based on colors. Ordered 2 hats in the same size. Labels said that the sizes were the same. The white hat was perfect. The gray hat was larger for some reason.

I’ve bought two of this design, and I’ve found it a good fit (and I receive lots of approving comments by others). But both my hats have suffered from their absorption of head perspiration around the hatband, leaving a prominent stain.

I’ve asked for advice from Bailey and other customers; all I’ve gotten is to wash gently. That might work for removing dirt from the hat, but it doesn’t do a thing for the stains caused by sweat. I’m discouraged and won’t buy another one, if all I have to look forward to is the same problem all over again.

This hat is wonderful. I have had a few compliments about it since I bought it and noticed I get looked at because of it, probably because it’s a hat you don’t see much these days. I no longer leave the house without it and it has become a part of me.

The light felt is nice and light making it a comfortable hat to wear and since it’s winter, it’s a warm hat too. The only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is I wish it was more stiff, but this hat keeps it’s shape pretty well.

Super stylish and well made. Great summer hat with a broad enough brim to give decent sun coverage and compact enough to go to town. I flip the front end down and get a lot of compliments on style and the multi-color weave.

It goes with everything, jeans, whites, corals, browns. I find the multicolor an asset to dress up and you will definitely get noticed with this stylish hat. Finally a hat that is big enough for my head.

I’m an XL and this is a bit wider than my head size but a perfect fit length wise. I could possibly have bought a L, if you are in between sizes I’d recommend sizing down. I never fit into one-size-fits-all.

It was expensive but I plan on having this for many years and the quality seems to be able to support that. It’s a classic style that is always in style.

Excellent hats! Loved them! I ordered the black and brown colour. I wished they’ve used a stiffer box for packing, though. When I got the packages, the box were crushed. So were the hats. Had to steam the hats to regain it’s shape again.

Absolutely beautiful. Mine is blue in XL. The blue is very close to grey. Perfect fit. Trust the size chart. If you have a Fairbanks hat that needs replacing, this is the perfect choice. The leather band is a nice upgrade.

I purchased the Brandt fedora because it most closely resembled the Fairbanks that is no longer available. It fits great and have already received compliments about it. I’ve been purchasing Bailey for some years now and they are really great hats.

I’ve purchased another brand fedora one time, but Bailey is at the top for quality. I prefer the crushable or shape retentive as they’re called because they stay in shape year after year. I still have the Fairbanks and it’s still in good shape.

I ordered these caps to machine embroider a logo onto the front of. I have done hundreds of Richardson 112 caps and never had a problem, however this is the first time doing the color Tan/White. The seam down the center was unbelievably thick.

So much thicker and tougher than any of the other colors I have done. My machine could not embroider on this color. I ruined 7 caps trying to make it work. I will be returning this color for credit. Only this color have I had such a problem.

Tweed is rich looking and attractive. Nice quality hat for the price. My guy looks stylish yet he said it’s comfortable enough to wear all day when the occasion calls for it.

Purchased this hat for my uncles birthday. He only wears these types of hats. It was a very nice material, however it was too heavy for summer. Too bad Nordstrom doesn’t have light summer ones. I purchased a different lighter one instead from Bloomingdales and returned this one.

I bought both colors of this hat for my husband and he loves them. Nice material, great colors; one goes with gray and black and the other one goes with brown and tans. Very stylish way to keep your head warm.

This item is light weight and can be worn year round. The Herringbone design has been a favorite of mine for sometime. Plus, it’s a Big Apple!

I bought this hat for chemo hair loss. It is super soft and comfortable. It goes around the ears and to the base of the neck and is still comfortable. I tried 3 other caps and they were not comfortable with the elastic at the back of the neck and around the ears.

I returned two of those. But this one is my favorite. I wear it all the time. This fabric is stretchy and fits snugly without feeling tight. It is a little big on the top when you have no hair to fill it in, but the pleating does help to make it look better.

Have some lighter weight headcovers but needed something warmer for winter . This one is stylish (more than a stocking cap), covers my ears & just the right weight even for wearing indoors.

I haven’t had to wear it yet as I just began Chemo. As far as the appearance, I tried it on (with hair) and loved the way I think it will look. I am very please with the texture of the fabric and the color.

I just bought my second one, after wearing my first one on the Camino de Santiago and for two years afterwards. It’s not quite worn out, but looks a little rough, so it was time to treat myself to a new one.

I am sure I will be wearing the first one in the garden for years to come. It’s a great layering piece, not too bulky, adds just enough warmth, with nice long sleeves and a quality zipper and construction.

I prefer the quarter zip style because while it provides quite a bit of ventilation, it is lighter and less bulky. I find it more comfortable than a full zip, especially if you are wearing it all day or sleeping in it, as you sometimes do when camping or traveling.

Just a note about its weight: the product info above says it weighs 6. 6 ounces, but doesn’t say what size that would be. I just weighed my (new) XL, and it weighs 9. 2 ounces. I do wish they came in better colors.

This pullover is thinner than I expected, but it’s great for layering. I bought it with the intention of wearing it under a coat for late fall/early winter fishing. I ordered it in a size M (medium) and it fits me well.

If I had purchased a small it would definitely be too tight, even though my measurements align within the range of S (chest 32, waist 28, hips 37). I feel that a measurement that is overlooked in the sizing chart is shoulder width.

I wear a size M in just about any shirt bc my shoulder width is around 15. 75in/40cm. With this pullover I can fit a base layer shirt underneath the pullover then I wear the Patagonia Torrentshell 3L raincoat (size M) as the outerlayer.

It keeps me warm and dry when fishing. I’ve also been considering buying the nano puff jacket as a layer between the pullover and raincoat as it gets colder.

Do I own a $400 puffy? No. Do I own a $39 hat? Yes. I bought this to look like a “Patagonia Dad” without having to fully commit. It’s fairly light although not considered “breathable material”, fits great, perfectly bent brim, and I can blend in with everyone at the breweries in Bend OR.

I will be adventuring hard in this hat over the summer and hopefully be taking it on several backpacking trips. I went to a Patagonia store and they didn’t even have this hat there, REI is where it’s at 10/10 would recommend you buy this hat from them if you want your social media profile pic to make you look like you live “vanlife” or like you downhill ski or whatever.
