20 Best Harry Potter Subscription Box (2023 Updated)

Books are a Christmas present so I do not know if the books will be perfect. There has been many complaints about the Harry Potter books. eg crushed cases on the corners and double chapters in books, some books missing and sometime two of the same book in the case.

I hope that what I received is a perfect set. Walmart had the best price, the packaging was perfect, all arrived on time and in great condition. Books look great through the cellophane. Hope all will be well on Christmas day.

This boxed set is amazing. I decided to buy this because about a month ago I bought the Harry Potter 8 film collection and I binged watched them. I wanted to read the books because that old tell tale.

The books are better than the movies and I remember when I was in elementary school I would always want to read Harry Potter, but it was just too long. Lol So I never have and I regret it. These books are outstanding.

The artwork on both the books and box they come in is phenomenal. I highly recommend this set to any Harry Potter fan/collector. Even if you’re starting out to read the series. This is the BEST choice in my opinion, if you buy the whole series it will save you money.

Over $35 compared to buying them separately. Another plus would be that I got it in exactly 1 week and free shipping. I am glad I picked this up although it is 4 years old now. Well worth the money and I’d say it is even well worth the original listed price.

I bought the for my wife for our 7 year anniversary. She LOVES Harry Potter. they look fantastic on our book shelf and they will no doubt be read, hopefully no just by my wife and I but our three children as they get older! The price was very reasonable for what I have seen other places.

I am very pleased with this purchase.

The trunk, while appearing textured, is smooth & easy to slide in & out of its storage place. With the functioning plastic lock on the front, the lid stays closed which I found to be a neat extra feature.

The soft rope/cord handles on the sides are functional, too, as they can support the weight of the trunk during transport. On the lid, there’s a place to personalize the trunk for the owner in a manner befitting its contents.

Inside, the books are displayed neatly snug and in order without being crammed in nor left loose to jostle about, preventing damage. The trunk also has a decorative design inside for those wishing to leave it open to display the books within.

Overall, I’m very pleased with my purchase. The hardcover books are of good quality and have cute little pictures on each chapter page, which I didn’t know about having only read them via ebook before, that my kids enjoy.

10/10 would recommend!.

This is the most beautiful set of books i have ever received i love them so much. At first i was worried about the trunk when ordering because its cardboard, but its a really strong and holds really well and looks beautiful, an amazing vessel to store these absolutely stunning books.

Reallly really worth the price. At first mine arrived with a book missing but staff were so super amazing in helping to fix it up and the replacement came way earlier then i expected. By far the easiest staff i have dealt with.

Again i am very very happy about this product and if your considering buying it then genuinely just go for it.

So all in all, it includes all 8 movies and I was able to watch them but please note that this set almost feels like a bootleg copy. For instance, the BR disc for Order of thr Phoenix in my set was clearly from a set dedicated to Order of Phoenix as it said Disc 1 Movie on it, such labeling is not done on any other disc nor was there something like Disc 2 Special Features.

Clearly they just took the disc from unsold copies of the actual movie box. My main complaint however, is with the audio quality. There are times when the audio is noticeibly absent. It generally happens when the background music goes soft, but you can tell there is no audio being played.

This is not an issue with my TV cause I actually have one of the Harry Potter movies (also blueray) that the issue occured on from another set, and the problem was not occuring with it. So yes the audio issues are from this specific set which is upsetting.

All in all, the item is good enough if you just wanna watch the movies without streaming and without spending too much this will do. But if you want a true collection set then look for another, this set is very lpw quality and just feels like the production conpaby took discs from unsold previous releases.

I had already seen all of these films, but wanted to have them in my personal video library so that I could watch them again. They are enjoyable on several levels, part of which is the personal growth demonstrated by the characters, as well as the long story arc which is concluded in the final film.

All of my discs played properly, with excellent video and audio quality. They were packaged in a sturdy plastic box with the discs attached to plastic “pages” allowing the viewer to flip through to find the desired disc.

The plastic box slides into a nice slipcover case.

We received this collection just about a week or less ago, and nothing to the movies which we know are amazing, its more for the quality of the face. Sorcerer’s Stone was EXTREMELY buffed up, smudged and scratched, looked like it had fingerprints on it before we even touched it.

It played all the way through just fine thankfully, I will update this later to add if the other seven played alright in our situation. The case was very poor quality, none of the movies would click down in their spots, so after picking about at the lock’s plastic for a while, my dad got it to a manageable state.

Another complaint is, we have bought these before on DVD and know what they look like, coming usually in two disc sets for special features. it says Part 1 on only half of the discs, as if they pulled these out of the two disc specialty bundles and collaged them into this collection, which is a bit cheap in my opinion.

Movies are good, containment is disappointing, mostly a shot at luck when you purchase.

A few weeks ago I received this free from Spinmaster Toys and #familyratedclub #butterly in exchange for an honest review. I was surprised to see such detail in the characters and found that they were really well made.

We tried to bend the arms and legs in ways that would simulate some rough play and they held up pretty good. ( they didn’t break) there’s a LOT of small pieces. So the age warning is definitely needed, I would say children should be older than 6 or very closely watched to play with the small pieces.

Play value is so-so, for a child with great imagination this can be great and they can make up more stories to play with Harry and Hermione but I wish that they had included Ron too. The unimaginative child wold likely reenact the scenes from the movies on the train, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

I’d definitely want to have the castle set as well if I were seriously interested in the toy line. I just wouldn’t have gone out to buy this set alone. Overall I’d give it a very good rating, but it could have been excellent with a little more included.

I got Wizarding World Harry Potter, Magical Minis Hogwarts Express Train Toy Playset from Spin Master #FamilyRatedClub for free (#gotitfree) in exchange for my honest review. I grew up during the Harry Potter era and this toy brought back many memories.

My kiddo, who has enjoyed the books, loved exploring the Hogwarts Express train. This toy included Harry Potter and Hermione Granger figurines, Crookshanks and Hedwig figures, and several of the classic treats that could be purchased on the train, trolley included! We loved how we could attach the frogs to the side of the train to make it look like they were hopping around.

While we loved how we could manoeuvre Hermoine and Harry to sit, lie down and stand, we found that it was difficult to get them to stand despite there being what appears to be magnets in one of their feet.

The small pieces fit great on the trolley and even in the luggage bag. A great toy overall and would definitely recommend!.

I am a MEGA HP fan. I WANTED to love this for my 6-yo daughter because she is just starting to get into HP movies and books. She HAD to have this castle and I absolutely cannot say no to Harry Potter stuff.

So I got it. $55 I believe is what I paid for it on sale. First off out of the box, it’s extremely difficult to put together and even when everything is properly snapped into place, it’s SO flimsy. Think cheap barbie house flimsy.

The decorations inside the castle are really cute and the little accessories are really nice, but will get lost under couches, tables or beds. GUARANTEED. The castle doesn’t close up, so unless you velcro the pieces down, they’re going to end up missing.

There are lights and sounds which I think are really cool in some of the rooms. Please note that the castle only comes with Hermione. you will not be getting Harry Potter or Ron or any of the professors.

I think this was the biggest disappointment for me. This is a $65 retail toy, include the main characters! Just not worth the price.

The books are nice, but I was under the impression that they were hardcover as it said “format: hardcover” when this set appeared on the website. I was slightly disappointed to see that they were softcover despite the books’ presentation and design.

So this leads me to a 4-star rating rather than 5. Other than that, everything else is fine.

10/10 would totally recommend for you to this ! it came on time , actually a little early. It also came in perfect shape , carefully packaged and so cutee! it make me not want to open it because how good it looks packaged.

If you buy this , i promise you wont regret it !.

This was the perfect gift for my 12 year old. She loves the books, has read them several times and now can enjoy them anytime with this beautiful collection. The case is perfect for storing the books and keeping them safe.

The new covers are drawn beautifully!.

Arrived in perfect condition. Each book’s dust cover is so beautiful and has a soft nap feel to them. The hardback cover itself is good quality too. I love how every book has simple diagrams/pictures , can’t remember if this came with the books all those years ago when i was first reading them.

All in all, very happy with my purchase!.

This is such a stunning set. I’m so glad I went with the hardcovers versus the paperbacks. Under the dust jackets, the covers are still rather pretty with gold stars stamped into them. I wish the US had Bloomsbury editions available.

Scholastic is great but Bloomsbury knows how to design a good looking book!.

I love this set!! Was hesitant to buy something described as having ‘children’s appeal’ but the price was so good I took a chance and glad I did. The case is nice and the covers are bright and cheerful.

For adults who prefer a more subdued look, without the dust jacket the books have gold tone highlights. The paper is an off white rather than harsh white. I love this set and a return to reading them was long overdue.

One tip, the fit is a bit snug so if you take one book out and have a ribbon to use as a pull start, it will be much easier to access them without damaging the spine. At this price and with such care taken in the shipping I give this a high rating.

My wife and I rewatched this over our Winter Break. The movies looked great are our Dolby Vision TV. Including the regular blu-ray versions is a plus, I’m giving them to my sister. Wait for a sale, at full price it’s too much.

I bought them during the sale when it was around $65-$70 for the whole set. At that price, it’s worth the upgrade from blu ray if you have a Dolby vision capable tv. If you have a cheaper 4K tv, you won’t notice much of a difference.

I don’t don’t care about digital copies, but if you do they are not included.

This is not the full extended version I watched years ago. The quality is good, sound is good, what’s missing?? Well let just say I was disappointed in Half Blood Prince…. Did it show Dumbledores funeral or burial….

And some scenes missing in the last Deathly Hollows…. Hagrids brother is not in scene when fighting takes place and he helps the good side…. And oh… the scenes where Harry is killed, and the final battle is less interesting… how Harry informs V that he’s not gonna win and the facial V makes when he realizes it IS NOT IN THIS MOVIE!!! Different and less enjoyable….

Would I recommend this to anyone? Yes only if you’ve never seen the originals… you won’t miss what you don’t know.

I’m pretty happy with the picture quality and the sound quality of this set. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel having DTS-X as opposed to Dolby Atmos for sound, but it’s pretty awesome in my opinion. I checked the BluRay versions and there’s not much in the way of additional content but I owned the original 8 disc BluRay set and so for me personally it’s a no.

Issue, especially when I get extended editions of the first two films. The quality of the packaging was really the worst part about this boxed set. The flimsy plastic hinged two sided disc holders are pretty terrible and have a hard time holding the discs in place, so be very careful when you open the sets up.

Also I was perturbed there isn’t a digital copy of the films and would have preferred to have that over the BluRay copies included in the set.

I recently received the Harry Potter Magical Infinity Gift Box and I couldn’t be happier. My kids and I were so excited to get this amazing and fun box. First off, the box itself was absolutely stunning.

It has beautiful harry potter themed artworkand the rotating box design was so cool. I will definitely be keeping the box and reusing it as a keepsake box. I loved that all 18 compartments were a mystery, filled with a variety of items from magnets to plush ornaments.

All the items were great quality and each one unique. The kids and I had a blast opening each box excited to see the next surprise. This gift box would be perfect for any harry potter fan like myself.

I loved it and it was truly magical.

This gift box is amazing! The detail that went into the making of it is incredible. Each box has a different design on it and no two are the same. One side shows a Harry Potter scene, the other are a bunch of various characters from the movie.

The gifts included in each box are adorable! The quality is well beyond my expectations and I cannot wait to see what’s more is inside. I would highly reccomend this to any Harry Potter fan!.

I feel as though I need to clarify, the items in the picture are possible items you might receive. If there is more than one item in a picture, such as the patches, you will only receive one; we received slithering.

The cute charms hanging on the pens, we didn’t get those. We received the Hermione ornament, not Harry etc. I purchased for an adult, so I removed some of the items and replaced them with more valuable trinkets.

Love the box though, it really it magical.

The box is a good gift for a 10+ year old due to size and diary/note book, but the box is cardboard and will ware out quickly. Stickers are lacking in selection and number.

This was a brilliant gift for my Harry Potter mad 7 year old granddaughter. Filled with quality stationery, pens etc but also super useful to store other things in.

Love the idea. So far the Bees Wax Candle project is a little simple and not really what expected. Also with very little instruction. The curiosity level was inspired by the trying to figure out what honey dripper? As nothing was taught on that? The book about bees is great! My six year old granddaughter reads and this was really fun and interesting! I hope the next month is better as far as projects go.

But all in all the idea is wonderful. In comparison to Kiwi Crate I am a little disappo.

My granddaughter loved her gift. She was so excited when I told her more were coming. The packages are educational and fun. It’s a great investment in the future!!

As a big Harry Potter fan i was on the fence initially about these books. I knew I would get them but I wasn’t sure if I was really in love with them. One plus point for me is that each Moment is based around a class that is related to one of the houses and this reflected in the minifigures included and the overall colour choices for the book.

Herbology – Hufflepuff The book itself is quite small and falls somewhere between A6 and A5 when compared to actual paper sizes. I did think they would be slightly larger based on the box size. However, there is so much detail included in each classroom that I found I soon overcame the slight disappointment I felt on their size.

The Herbology Class opens up to a full classroom scene that relies on it being laid out on a play surface. Incorporating an indoor and an outdoor area with various plants and equipment. Of course it has some classroom furniture so Professor Sprout can teach Cedric and Neville.

I am not a big fan of minifigures in general but I really enjoy the special prints on these and the inclusion of earmuffs for dealing with those pesky mandrakes. I was surprised at how snuggly everything fits back in to the book so that you can fold everything away in true playset fashion.

Unfortunately, the minifigures do not fit in to the closed book so they do stand a high chance of being separated from the set. My favourite display option is to have it open as the full book. If you have all 4 of the series they do link together in to a circle which makes for a fun look.

It does take up a surprising amount of space though. Overall an entertaining take on the Harry Potter franchise that was fun to build and offers a good balance between playability and display. This is a big favourite for me but I think the Slytherin Classroom just pips it to favourite set award.

All 4 of these new sets are great and the design is superb. They all have their own unique features which really add to the playability. Also a good point for adults is that you can spread out the sets into an area that is easily playable with adult fingers and not have to try and reach into child only sized playsets.

There is however a printing defect in the Herbology instructions on page 26. Sticker 7 is shown upside down in the instructions and the leaves are pointing up instead of down. It’s not something that is obvious and doesn’t affect the play.

That aside, I love these sets, both open and closed and I hope that more are added to the collection in the future. A Defence against the dark arts room, or the kitchen with house elves, or even Myrtle’s bathroom!.

I do like the Lego advent calendars and always get the Star Wars and Harry Potter calendars, but they always recycle the 3 main characters (Harry, Ron & Hermione). I believe they have made them unique to the advent calendar which is good but with the series having a vast amount of characters to choose from it would be nice to have totally different characters each year.

There are 6 characters included in this set, so 3 different minifigures is good. I haven’t opened the advent calendar yet so can’t review the builds (it’s still November).

This calendar is really good fun. My son loves it. The only thing that lets this down is the quality of the cardboard as it is thin and not very strong. In comparison to a Lego calendar we had a few years ago, it is obvious the quality is not so good.

Disappointing!.

Fab product. Been buying lego friends for the past few years but this is another level. All of the pieces make up characters and calender becomes a board game. Absolutely delighted 10 yr old.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our Harry Potter mad daughter, who is also mad about board games. We tried to play it on Boxing day – thinking we’d start with the 30 min ‘version’ to learn how it worked.

Alas, the instructions are so appallingly unhelpful, and the game is so ridiculously badly put together, that after 2. 5 hours we had to give up, leaving us all very fed up and disappointed. Particularly my daughter.

It is clearly designed by someone who plays a lot of computer games – all the references to ‘modes’ and different ‘boards’ and ‘lives’ should have been a giveaway. It would no doubt work much better on a computer, but we wanted a proper board game.

The game has at least 7 different packs of cards that have to be laid out + 4 different boards, innumerable little counters which will get lost incredibly quickly, and is just far, far too complicatedly designed to be any fun at all.

It makes typically more complicated games like Risk or Monopoly look like Snap in comparison. I think the John Lewis buyers have made a big mistake in offering this for sale (and clearly never tried it themselves!) and I am very disappointed that they are not going to allow me to return it.

We would very much like to exchange it for another game in the hope of replacing my daughter’s Christmas present but they don’t seem to be going to allow us to do so.

A very exciting looking game. Bought it for Christmas, opened it up and it is very overwhelming. Takes a while to learn the rules of the game as you have to sit with a coffee to read the entire book otherwise you miss key details about using book, potion & spell cards, and how to play quidditch.

Very detailed game though and very fun, once you’ve learned the rules. Only reason for the drop of a star is that it takes a few hours to learn how to play.

We are loving this game. It has different ways to play depending on ability and age. It can be as complex as you like, or as simple. On the intermediate level you can play Quidditch which, is a game all in itself! It’s taken quite a few games and re-reads of the instructions, but we are loving it.

Playing can mean the whole afternoon gone.

For the amount I payed for this game, it came in great shape. The disc was next to scratch-free, and while the case was not in the best shape, it was still in decent enough condition. There was no manual, but that is really the only downside to this package.

To anyone who doesn’t know, this is a blue disc PS2 title, and my PS2 may run it perfectly, but it is very loud, and the system can sound like its a ferarri revving up. This caught me off guard at first, but I think it’s just a different disc format that causes the louder noises to appear.

The game itself was a blast to play, and I recommend this game to anyone looking for a good blast from the past. Don’t be fooled if you think this is the exact same game as the GameCube and XBOX versions, however.

Certain scenarios, camera perspectives, visual effects, dialogue, and menus are very different in the PS2 version. If you originally had a Gamecube or XBOX copy, the PS2 version will be a slightly different experience, and I honestly preferred the PS2 version, so take that for what it’s worth.

I made sure there were no scratches on the game disc before testing it, which I was thankful for. It worked like a charm, a little bit slow, but I haven’t been using my gaming PC for a while by the way.

I got to say this is the best product that I bought.

I really love this game. The first one for GBC and this one are so much better than the other consoles variation. It’s a pure RPG, with turn based battles, spells, equipment, collectables and more. The history is much closer to the books and the graphics are very compeling!.

I had read the first 3 novels In the Harry Potter series and had found them extremely enjoyable page turners, Rowling creates a complete, magical world and her characters are always perfectly developed: You cheer when Harry stands up to Snape, You scowl inside when Malfoy turns up and you feel safe and secure when Dumbledore’s around.

But quite simply, the extrodinary and sensational “Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire” leaves the previous books In the dust. From the opening chapter you realise this Isn’t going to be your average Harry Potter book, a character suspected of murder Is himself murdered at the hands of Lord Voldemort.

I had always felt a Harry potter novel didn’t get exciting until the story reached Hogwarts, this time Harry, Ron and Hermione travel to see a Qudditch World Cup which doesen’t leave you dosing off waiting for the Hogwarts Express.

But from then on the pace becomes consistently quicker, Harry’s name Is put In a “Goblet Of Fire” which chooses contestants for a tournament involving other schools of witchcraft and wizardry. Harry is helped throughout the tournament by a new teacher “Mad Eye Moody” someone who you begin to trust throughout the story.

Harry makes his way through the tournament tasks and unexpectactly finds himself face to face with Lord Voldemort, resulting In the death of not a prominant, but significant character. By the end things have got so messy you can only cringe at the things which are no doubt to come.

This Is by far the most compelling instalment In the series. I’ve read critics complain Rowling Is writing directly at a more adult audience, this Is definetely not the case; For a start, Rowling already holds a huge adult audience with these books, parents enjoy them just as much as their children, also (like Harry himself) Rowling’s prime audience of 8 to 12 year olds are growing up as well, I think It’s fitting that children can grow up with these stories as they themselves become more mature.

Although for especially young children of anyone under seven, parents should defineteley read along, the last hundred or so pages can be frightning and sometimes shocking. And as Dumbledore explains the stories events to Harry (and readers) Rowling has you flipping back hundreds of pages to realise just how intricately intwined the plot really Is.

Simply an amazing read from cover to cover, “The Goblet Of Fire” Is to the previous Instalments what “The Empire Strikes Back” was to “Star Wars”, It gives the series deeper meaning and makes an already enjoying tale Into something better than you thought It could be.

I am a big HARRY POTTER fan and when I got my copy for this book I was a bit disappointed on how damaged it really turned out to be! I want the Harry Potter books to be in like very good condition and the copy I got is not exactly the condition I wanted! So I have decided to give both Harry Potter books I bought to donate it to my local library! Anyway, over all the book is a must have!! It is one of the best HP book written and in my opinion worth reading!!!!.

My rating for this book is five stars. It took me a long while to be able to read it and one of my happiest memories as a kind man at a book fair that he talked about Harry Potter and the goblet of fire and he saw how much I loved it, that he allowed me to have it for free.

It’s strange when you actually think about these books and how powerful they are but it’s another thing when you see a kind stranger who doesn’t know you he gives your book for free when he sees how much your eyes light up when you think about this one.

This book has so much adventures and it’s also the critical turning point in the Harry Potter series were Harrys arch enemy Is brought to power once again and his friends Hermione and Ron begin to overall into deeper characters.

I absolutely love this product!! It’s so detailed and looks brilliant with my other pops! Deliver came a week before the given delivery slot which was a great surprise! Can’t wait for the others to come out!.
