Best Harry Potter For Christmas (2024 Updated)

The only improvement I would suggest is a key for those who want to put the “ornaments” back in the original order. I didn’t write them down as I removed them. Great for any Potterhead*. Excellent artwork and good quality.

(*maybe 8 or 9 yrs old and up. ).

Although this is labelled as a “book” on the website, when I received it, I was disappointed to discover that it was actually an advent calendar. As a collector of pop-up books, it doesn’t fit into my library (with only two pages!) and will be going back.

The advertising should have been clearer and I wouldn’t have purchased it in the first place. To be fair, when I went back to the ad, it did mention in the fine print that it only had two pages, but it was described as a pop-up book, so I didn’t even notice.

I bought this so excited to get a Harry Potter Christmas pop up book. When I received it, it only had one “page” the one shown in the picture, and it was not a book at all. So disappointing!

This is an awesome ornament for our tree that looks exactly as pictured. It’s not too big or too small like some of the other ones. It makes an excellent gift for any Harry Potter fan at Christmas!

This item feels super cheap. The ornament is extremely small and you would have no idea it is a Harry Potter themed item unless you really pay attention.

I purchased this ornament for my son. Each year we purchase an ornament that represents where and who we are in our lives at that moment. My son just started aattending a new school where he hopes to have a wonderful learning experience.

Hogwarts school is a magical place and Christmas is a magical time so he chose this ornament.

My niece is just starting her first Christmas tree and she is going to love this ornament. It is durable and represents all 4 of the groups of kids in the school. Only thing I would change is trim it in black so Hufflepuff background could be yellow.

Nice job in recreating a scene from the movie “Chamber of Secrets”. Ornaments from different scenes in the Harry Potter Movies allow you to vision some of the favorite parts of a particular Movie that you enjoyed.

I am long time ornament collector – now I enjoy collecting ornaments for my children. Later in life they will unpack these and remember how we read the books together, watched the movies, all discussion sparked from comparing the two.

These ornaments are the perfect addition to my daughter’s Harry Potter Christmas tree. Her birthday is on Christmas so she has her own birthday tree to decorate as she pleases. She started collecting a few years ago has chosen all Harry Potter ornaments to go on her tree.

My eleven year old grandson decided he wanted to read the Harry Potter series. He spent his summer vacation reading each book. As a tribute to this accomplishment I chose this Harry Potter ornament to remind him every Christmas of his childhood accomplishments.

I am so very proud of him. I started buying ornaments for my 3 children in 1976 and have continued through 7 grandchildren. They look forward to a dated ornament each year. Hallmark has made this possible.

Each year I try to find an ornament for each of my grandchildren that will be a keepsake, reminiscent of this year. My grandson who is a voracious reader discovered and fell in love with the Harry Potter series.

I looked at several Harry Potter ornaments but many of them were too heavy or large. This ornament of the Harry Potter is perfect for him and no so big as to be obnoxious on the tree.

This is a small, cute reproduction of the first Harry Potter books. Bought two for my (grown!) kids to commemorate those exciting read aloud days in our house when Harry et al first embarked on their adventures.

Ordered the ornaments online to be sent to my local Hallmark store and picked them up there. Win-win.

If you have the 2020 advent calendar, there are many duplicates to this years. I’m not talking about the same character with a different outfit – I mean, they are literally the exact same. Exact same: Luna, Hedwig, Fawkes, Fred, George, Ginny, Neville, Dobby, Snape, and Malfoy.

Ones that are similar but slightly different: Fang (one is flocked, one is not), Crookshanks (again, one is flocked, one is not) Same characters: Dumbledore (slightly different outfit), McGonagall (slightly different outfit and more shimmery), Harry (a few different outfits), Hermione (again, a few different outfits), Hagrid (taller and with the umbrella), Ron (different outfit) New characters: Mad-Eye Moody, Trelawney, Lupin, and a Thestral If this is your one and only HP advent calendar, then it’s a good variety.

However, if you also have the 2020 version, this is not worth the money.

I’m really excited for this! I really wanted the Pokémon advent calendar but I missed the day it was released and now SCALPERS are selling for over $80 for it! You can have it because I realized theirs a Harry Potter advent too!!! Harry Potter is way better then boring Pokémon ! I mean Pokémon everything is just hype that adults get excited about! I wanted it for my son to rip open and not have to pay triple for !!! Order this and don’t hesitate because it will sell out soon! I canceled my Amazon order and ordered here at Walmart !.

I saw this on tik tok and caved. I received it fairly quick and in great condition. I opened the box from the side to make sure they were all in there based on some reviews saying they were missing one or two characters.

They were all there and I cannot wait to have my daughter open one each day in December!.

The best for a Harry Potter fan. It was so neat and fun. I made the mistake of putting them all with the other Legos after I was done and the kids lost them. If I ever found this again I’d rebuy it and put them in a shelf after they are made.

I recommend even if you find one not around Christmas or after it would still be fun for a hp fan.

Our children bought this for their aunt for Christmas Since she wasnt going to be with them for Christmas. They had gotten the Star Wars and Lego Advents before and thought this would be a fun way to still celebrate apart.

I usually buy Advent calendars filled with chocolates for the four youngest grandchildren. Since they all love Legos, I opted for the Lego Advent Calendars this year. Several editions were available so I purchased a different one for each of them.

Two editions were at a greatly reduced price too! I know any Lego fan would love these.

I bought these to adorn several small trees that I will have throughout our house this holiday season. They’re sturdy and will definitely last. The bad part is that you spend so much money to get a complete set–goodness! I did become a Hallmark platinum member, and I had enough duplicates to trade.

If you have a family member who loves Harry Potter, these collectibles will be a great addition to your collection.

I love these but the volume of 1 villain verses 6 heroes/good ones is so not cool. We’ve bought about 30 of these and have 15 villains. When they do the ratio like that it honestly takes the fun out of it for me.

If I was into villains I wouldn’t be a Hallmark enthusiast just saying.

Harry Potter ornament was perfect. However this was a BOGO50% off Mystery Ornament. Control could have been made so two of the same items were not shipped. Disappointed. Yes, it was a chancy decision on my part.

However I will not buy more now that I could end up with 4 of the same. If I had gotten two different characters I would have bought more.

My son LOVES all things Christmas! We have some ornaments that are breakable heirlooms – and it’s either don’t put them or or risk them broken… until we had the idea to get him his own tree! He loves visiting the Hallmark store and looking at ornaments, and we let him choose a non-breakable ornament for his own 2ft tree.

It’s a win-win situation. Everyone is happy!.

I bought this ornament for my Grandson For a gift who loves Harry Potter. He saw this in the store and loved it. He is ten years old and to see his eyes light up with excitement made me very happy. It’s realistic looking and made very well.

I would but it 100 times over. Highly recommend it. Hallmark/ paper store is the place to shop for many of the best gifts. It’s a store with great helpful employees that actually are happy to see you and help you and are happy.

Grandchildren get to select their Christmas ornaments each year. My youngest granddaughter is just starting her relationship with the Potter series. Unknown to her, I am getting other characters too.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. I love all of the Harry Potter Hallmark ornaments because they are so well done. I buy a lot of other ornaments from Hallmark for friends and for myself.

My grand daughter Macie Dale just started watching the Harry Potter Series. She was so surprised when I presented her with the ornaments that she was so excited. She wanted to know when the others would come out.

We purchased Harry and Herimone when we saw them in the store. We were so excited to surprise my husband. He asked if they had Ron, but they didn’t. We were thrilled to find him online!

So cute!! I love bts so obviously I had to get this! At first I purchased one which ended up being delayed (preordered in july and was supposed to get it in september but just received it) so I purchased another one from a different store.

Although it took awhile, I am so happy I got it! Love love love it!.

I have the whole set of Harry Potter funko keychains and I love them! They are so tiny and cute! They were only a couple dollars each on amazon. They are definitely worth the buy. Their big heads and little bodys are so adorable! They look just like the characters without mouths lol.

Gave it as a gift. New in box. My niece loves it! Her favorite BTS member on a cool Funko pop brand keychain! Thank you, Walmart!

My son loves this. However, for the price I paid it would have been nice if the lego figures were dismantled and put into little plastic bags and the doors better secured – unfortunately one fell out and the first day came out readymade, so I had to quickly dismantle it – kind of spoils the surprise.

But hey!.

For any Lego fan, what could be better than a new surprise each morning for 24 days in a row? He’s had so much fun discovering the items and putting them together (although some are a bit challenging with such tiny pieces) – and we’re only up to December 5! I think we’ll be looking for one of the other ones next year.
