20 Best Hand Lotion For Women (2023 Updated)

I’ve struggled with eczema my whole life on my hands, so my hands are always dry or cracked. This hand cream is the only hand cream I’ve seen visible results in hydrating and smoothing the skin on my hands.

I have less flare-ups and the eczema on my hands fade away when I consistently use this hand cream. I’ve been using this hand cream since around 2017 and have purchased over and over again. I don’t go anywhere without a tube of in my bag.

I LOVE the scent and regularly gift this hand cream to friends and family (who have all loved this hand cream!!). This hand cream is my whole personality and I’m HEARTBROKEN that this hand cream is being discontinued.

Please do not discontinue!! Or alternatively pls bring this back under The Ordinary with same formulation and scent! Stocking up intensely in the meantime!.

This stuff is amazing. I have dry hands and always have. they’ll crack in the knuckle creases (that sounds dramatic). I’ve done vaseline in cotton gloves but that leaves my hands feeling strangely itchy and still dry.

I switched over to [a competitor]’s heavy cream in cotton gloves and that did better. but. I didn’t really like wearing the gloves either. This does more immediately and requires zero gloves. It absorbs almost instantly and it’s like magic.

I bought the 30 ml to try two weeks ago and I’m back for the large size. I’m giving my spouse and friend some to try as well. (I mean. I did share with my husband but like. ‘here’s a little’ not ‘here, take my bottle’).

Recently, I started a medication that makes me sweat a lot more (both in frequency and quantity) which was slightly annoying until it became a pretty big issue for me. I am a powerlifter (not a very good one) and to deadlift, my hands need to be dry for the lift and healthy so it doesn’t tear.

Typically, I would grow some thicker skin and it would be fine. Since the sweating got worse though, my hands have become so sweaty the bar slips, causing abrasions and tearing calluses. I also collect/build keyboards and moisturizers can damage the finishes of the metals and cause the keycaps to be greasy and shiny.

This moisturizer checks all the boxes. It’s amazing how fast it absorbs into my hands and leaves them soft and residue free. I can’t get over how it just…disappears. The results that I needed were pretty fast but I’m excited to see how things change in a month or so.

Now that they’re moisturized, I realized how dry they were in general lol. Tldr; great moisturizer for beat up hands that leaves almost no residue or greasy feeling after a few minutes.

I initially bought this for my mum, but it was so lovely that I also bought one for myself. I love rose scents but often find them too sweet. This one is beautiful, very delicate, although long lasting.

At the moment I’m pairing it with the Vetyver hand wash which gives a fresh, green note inflection. This isn’t a super rich cream – definitely a lotion – but it’s surprisingly nourishing. It’s not greasy at all and absorbs quickly.

Will definitely repurchase!.

I’m really happy with this hand lotion! It’s a lighter formula than I usually like in a hand cream, but it’s hydrating and softening and I’ve definitely noticed an improvement in my very dry hands since I’ve started using it.

It has a lovely scent (like turkish delight!) and is a really large size, which (somewhat) justifies the price. Like all Byredo products the branding is super sleek and minimal, which I love.

I really wanted to like this lotion! I fell in love with Korres products and was super excited when I saw this lotion in FabFitFuns edit sale. Unfortunately, it’s not something I would buy again and am left with a mostly full bottle.

While it is fairly moisturizing, it leaves your hands with that awful, dreaded greasy feeling and doesn’t do much to quench those dry spots a lot of us get in the winter. Although I find it greasy it does give your skin a nice dewy glow look and would probably look great on your legs especially during the summer.

Personally I also don’t like the smell. Maybe I didn’t fully understand what guava would actually smell like but it reminds me of a pina colada scent and I am NOT a fan of pina coladas (I might be in the minority here!).

The scent doesn’t subside and I can feel a headache coming on while wearing it. I’m giving this 3 stars because I like Korres as a brand and although it might not be right for me for the above mentioned reasons, it still might be a great product for those of you looking for a dewier finish, don’t mind a little bit of a greasy feeling to your lotions/body butters and love a bit of a heavier, pina colada type scent.

I absolutely love their products!!! They are a bit pricey, and run about $4 more dollars than baths bodyworks per body cream but they are affordable. If their is a sale I’m always there and when the holidays come around I love to buy the smaller body cream gifts sets to gift to others and have for my self as well.

Guava is one of my favorite scents so I ran out but I have many of the other beautiful scents to hold me over until in buy more. I do have along with many others. I guarantee that if you shave and put on the body cream after your shower you’ll be the side test you have ever been in your life.

I stay moisturized all day and night and will always be a lifelong customer!.

This smells incredible! So bright, fresh, and summery! It’s definitely more of a body butter than a lotion, but not too ridiculously thick like some body butters. I still prefer a slightly thinner, more lotion-like consistency, but I will say that this absorbs well and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy.

Expensive, but it’s a fairly large tube and does last a while.

It’s summer in Ohio and as usual, if there’s an insect within a mile, it seems to navigate straight for me. I was not really enjoying walking around with oily, chemical-stink repellent all over my skin, so I searched for what might repel them naturally and found most information included lavender.

I headed to my local big box store and stood in the lotion aisle for 20 minutes sniffing each variety of lavender they had, most of which smelled too artificial, or sweet like candy. When I sniffed this Everyone brand, oh my gosh!! It was bursting with fresh lavender scent and I was delighted! I came home and will confess to going a lot overboard with my initial application of this stuff because I loved it so much.

Since then, I’ve chilled out a little lol, but I have been applying it morning and evening, particularly to my legs and ankles since that’s the preferred biting space, evidently. I can’t say this is 100% your solution to insect irritation, but in my experience, it’s helped a lot.

Of course it makes my skin smell great and soothes my overall (diabetic) dry skin itch. I can say for sure this will be a definite full-time staple in my self care regimen in the future.

Dissolution is fantastic! Not only does it smell like my favorite smell… Bamboo!!… it really feels lovely on the skin. It’s a light lotion that absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy residue or a stickiness behind- it’s very moisturizing.

I liked it so much in my bathroom that I now have another next to the bamboo soap in my kitchen!.

I really liked this scent from [brand:nest-fragrances-55] – it’s a subtle scent, it lingers but not too long. It’s not overpowering. It moisturizes your skin. It takes a minute to be absorbed. It has ingredients that dry your skin, such as fragrance and alcohol.

Packing is below average. Should have a better presentation considering the price tag. I like this as a gift more than for myself.

Bottle was cracked when it arrived and lotion went everywhere in the box. The bottle is a very thin plastic and I can see will split easy at the corners. They should utilize a different style. And, although the scent is amazing,I find the lotion too watery and oily feeling.

I will not buy their lotion again.

I had high hopes for this hand cream & loved the inclusion of peptides but unfortunately I was left feeling pretty disappointed with my first foray into this brand. First of all, the metal tube was very dinged up & squashed despite the box being in perfect condition.

That wouldn’t have bothered me so much if the product inside was good in which case the tube would get more squished with use anyway but it was disappointing to receive it in that condition. The cream itself is very light & surprisingly watery & only sunk right into my skin because it doesn’t seem to have enough nourishing ingredients in it.

A minute after rubbing it in, my hands still felt the same, weren’t soft & even after applying more I just wasn’t satisfied. I tried again the next day and the sane thing happened & my hands aren’t overly dry in the first place.

I have many hand creams & have had the opposite experience of some being too thick & rich, requiring lots of rubbing in but at least they work. I do love that this has peptides & no fragrance but they need to improve the formula.

I returned it.

You see, I’m annoyed. I am constantly searching for the perfect hand cream because I can’t stand my hands being dry and am always reapplying lotion throughout the day. I read the reviews for this, but saw the price, and thought there is no way a hand cream could be worth that price.

But not being completely satisfied with anything I’ve used, I decided to treat myself during the spring sale and see what the hype was all about. And man, did I eff up. Because I LOVE THIS LOTION SO MUCH.

It is now my holy grail, I rave about it to everyone, I don’t think I can ever live without it and my bank account is going to hate me for it. It goes on so silky and smooth, absorbs quickly, is not greasy at all but yet my hands still feel moisturized.

Every other cream I always find either leaves a film, or leaves me feeling dry. Nope, not this stuff, it is PERFECT. No joke, my boyfriend was touching my hands after I was only using this for a few days and was like “why are your hands so soft?”.

That was my first hint that this lotion is legendary. I also love that it’s non scented because I have sensitive skin and I also just can’t stand a super strongly fragranced hand lotion. I am hooked, I will be reordering, and I’m definitely going to be trying more products from this brand.

I really like this hand cream. It’s probably my favourite one. It’s moisturizing without being greasy or so thick that it causes my hands to sweat. My hands are left soft with a dry touch feeling that allows me to keep typing or using my phone right after application.

I still need cuticle oil but I have generally dry skin so I don’t mind. The packaging here is the real issue for me. No matter how delicately I press on the foil tube more product than I need oozes out.

I find it to be wasteful and unacceptable for a product at this price point. I took off a star for it and will repurchase only because the cream itself is so good. Fingers crossed they change the packaging in the future.

The reason I felt compelled to write up a review on this product is that I fell hard for the texture. The moisturizer is such a light and fluffy cream formula that I just can’t stop using it; imagine you were able to rub café cold foam into your hands without creating a sticky mess! I love the way it blends into my skin and I’ll definitely be carrying this one around with me.

The scent is vanilla bean. I absolutely adore the smell of this hand cream but it should be stated that there is a little something more than vanilla bean going on. Have you ever smelled an organic/artisanal/small batch soap? The scent I’m referencing might just be the natural fragrance of goat milk, as this is a goat milk moisturizer.

The cream does smell of warm vanilla bean, but also like those fancy soaps from specialty shops in tourist towns. I just flat out love this handcream, and if you are looking for a fluffy and non-greasy formula to sooth cracked hands this winter, this might be the one for you.

I keep one in my purse and one on my nightstand. I love the smell of this! I initially bought a tiny size when I was out one day because I’d run out of hand cream in my purse and have been repurchasing the larger size since! I do use a heavier type cream if my hands get really cracked, I also oil my cuticles at night.

This works great for maintaining my hands and nails. Here the website description: “This goat milk hand cream features notes of heart of water lily, lotus and magnolia dew, complemented by fresh melon, rosewater and musk, with a kiss of sea salt”.

I’m not sure if I smell any of those notes specifically but it’s a bright scent. I smell more heavy, musky notes in their vanilla bean. This and the blood orange lip balm are my two favorite products from Dionis.

Always looking for vegan products and brands and in my search for a handcream, Dionis popped up. It very clearly says “Goat Milk” in the description and on the tube itself. I even checked the Dionis website and in the FAQs, it states that Dionis products contain goat milk.

To the brand’s credit, they do not test on animals. ULTA, “vegan” and “cruelty free” are not the same thing (even brands that are certified “cruelty free” may or may not adhere to humane animal welfare practices).

Please fix your search filters. Your vegan customers should not have to research every potential product purchase because we can’t trust your information. (Note: one-star rating is for the misinformation).

This hand cream is a must-have because of the constant need to wash our hands during this pandemic. The back of my hands were in SERIOUS need of something so I decided to try one of the hand creams from BBW.

I tried 4 different ones but this one is my favorite. It was exactly what I needed: thick enough consistency to hydrate my hand, not too greasy, not a strong fragrance, keeps my hand soft after one application (but two applications was even better).

I can go on and on. The fragrance is a very subtle sweet floral. It’s a perfect size for keeping in my purse. The only downfall is that this size is only 1oz for the price of a 2. 5oz. But really this is worth it! I hope BBW also starts selling a slightly larger size just to save on packaging in the future.

I would purchase both sizes for convenience and frequent uses.

I have severe eczema on my right hand. It often causes my skin to get so dry that it cracks, burns, itches, goes a fiery red color, and even gets rough to the point of snagging on fabrics. No lotions or creams I’d tried had worked for more than fifteen minutes, including ones meant for eczema.

This, however, kept my skin so supple and moisturized that I can actually go a couple of days between uses before I feel any dryness at all. It’s AMAZING. The only issue is that it has a pretty strong coconut smell, but I mix it with a dab of Cactus Blossom body cream and it blends pretty well.

I am sensitive to certain scents, it can give me sinus pain, headache etc. and this one has a very strong aquatic smell. Not only did it bother me, but i put it on at a group gathering while sitting at a table and the girl next go me started coughing.

I received Olay Moisturizing Hand Serum in exchange for my honest opinion. This helps moisturize for soft smooth skin. Is enriched with Vitamin B3 complex. Replenishes skins moisture barrier. Is a non-greasy lightweight formula.

Directions state to Apply after washing hands. The Olay Moisturizing Hand Serum came in a tube featuring a pump style top for easy application. It is very lightly scented, almost no scent at all really.

It applies smooth and silky on your skin. The Serum itself is cool when applying to your skin. The directions were very vague- as in it didn’t state how much to use or how often to use it. The directions only state: “After washing hands with Olay Hand Wash, applying Olay Serum to hands.

” So, I tried one pump and it did a fairly good job of almost getting thoroughly all over my hands. Ideally 1. 5 pumps would be perfect, if I could get that half a pump to stop when I wanted it to. I applied it a few times throughout the days of testing it after washing my hands.

On the morning of day 3 I started to get itchy like when I get a Dermatitis flares up and immediately stopped using this product. While I think this is a great product that works well its not one I’d recommend for those with Eczema or Dermatitis.

Special Note: I have Dermatitis on my hand and therefore must be careful with the products I use. I did several patch tests with this product before applying fully to my hands to ensure it didn’t cause a reaction or flare-up.

However, after continued use it proved not to be safe to use on my skin.

I like the bottle as it seems fancier than other portable hand creams. but save yourself some money because this hand cream is the exact same formula as the classic moisturizing lotion sensitive, which is 6oz for $10 It is lightweight, absorbs fast , no greasy residue that will get all over.

I love that it is unscented! Finding unscented products is so hard. I will buy the classic sensitive moisturizing lotion and use that to refill this bottle if I can because you get much more for the price.

As always, Neal’s Yard products are always effective and a joy to use. The fragrances are natural and lovely. This trio of lovely, good quality hand creams was a great gift for my niece. They are the right size to pop into your bag to take to work with you, so you always have one to hand (oops) during the course of the day.

It’s amazing how uplifting a beautiful fragrance can be.

I bought this set 2 weeks ago and have tried all three hand creams. All have a lovely smell and are easily absorbed, not greasy and extremely nourishing. My hands were very dry and sore after using so much sanitiser and within a few days the hand creams had done the trick – no more sore dry hands! I’d definitely recommend this product.

I love Neal’s Years products and these hand creams are no exception. They smell amazing, feel nourishing, and contain no nasties. They are my go-to hand creams whenever I need to purchase a new one. And this gift box has a lovely selection.

This is probably one of the best hand creams I have used in a while. Some are far too oily, some just don’t seem to actually soften my hands at all, but this one. wow! I bought it as a “guest” hand cream for our downstairs loo but I may need to steal it.

I’m a huge fan of Le Labo (I’ve been wearing Le Labo’s perfume for 8 years so far) and I loved this hinoki smell, but I have to admit I hate using this lotion. Whenever I tried this, this lotion clumps up all over my hand and I need to wipe this out with tissues.

No matter how much I apply – small amount, average, huge pump, etc. – it gives me horrible lotion clumps. I have a crispy dry hand so I always use hand lotion/cream 24/7, and this lotion is not hydrating at all.

I feel like my hands are just “coated” with the cream, but my hands feel so dry inside this lotion coat. I can’t even return it now, and my $65 hand lotion is sitting on my work desk as a sad decor.

Feels lovely and silky, no greasy residue and softens skin well. The fragrance is unique and lovely, woody, a bit herbaceous and a bit spicy. Suitable for men too – hubby loves it. I do find I am a bit sensitive to it, probably the fragrance component which is always a possibility for me.

I react easily, getting atopic eczema between the fingers. So be aware this may be a trigger if you are sensitive too. Hubby will use it!.

I love this hand cream. I keep a spare of it in my guest bath, and all my guests have remarked on it! It is thick, so a little goes a long way. It goes on smooth. Two stars off for: Highly scented–lime, BE READY.

It smells wonderful but your coworkers 4 cubes down will also be subjected to it. Be kind, haha. Other star: slightly greasy feel afterward, though it turns to a dry feel after a minute.

So far this is the scent I like the most. I love to have this like everywhere. On my car, purse, my work desk and my jacket pocket. Especially this winter. My cat love the smell hahah they sniff it first time I used it at home.

Love this hand cream. Smells amazing and leaves my hand super moisturized. I received this via a coupon they had sent out through the mail. I’m always looking for great ways to save. I totally recommend others to join their rewards program as well.

I bought a travel size of this lotion. I used it once and my hands broke out in a red raised bumpy rash and under my rings I had red raised water filled blisters!! After reading the list of ingredients, I learned this has benzyl salicylate citronellol as a fragrance in it! I am so disappointed to see Aveda use this ingredient when their story says promotes a natural products, 100% VEGAN and plant derived.

I have to take off my wedding ring to let the chemical burn heal now. From now on, read the labels you may not be getting what you expect. I WILL NEVER BUY THIS PRODUCT AGAIN!! 1 STAR is because they make you give at least one.

But Zero is what I would give.

For dry hands you NEED AVEDA HAND RELIEF!!! The best and I mean THE BEST hand lotion out there! It gives your hands such a smooth silky finish and I am pick when it comes to lotion I hate when it’s greasy or to scented.

This stuff is beyond amazing. Has a calming scent and really helps with chapped hands! I use it daily in the winter and is by far the best hand moisturizer I have ever used. Relieve chapped hands fast! Is a little bit more expensive than your typical drug store lotion but well worth it and a little dime sized goes a long ways! I’d say of your looking for a good hand lotion for the cold winter months to try this!!!!.

This is one of my number one products and I can’t rate it highly enough. I suffer osteo-arthritis in my feet and I have to say – forget the rubs like Decorub or Voltaren, or the foot spas or massages, this is better than anything you can use.

I rub about a 10 cent piece size on each foot and the relief I get from it is amazing. The first time I used it I couldn’t believe it – it was like a blanket of relief just sweeping over my feet and it was so instant.

I even use it on my knees which also suffer osteo-arthritis. Not only that but it also moisturises and softens and the essential oil fragrance is amazing that it’s so relaxing and soothing to use. Mind, Body and Soul Solved!!!! Thank you Aveda!!!!.

This a great addition to the Tiffany fragrance line! It smells very fresh and nice. The lotion wears well and smells really good. I’m going start here before I commit to the fragrance bottle.

Beautiful fragrance, very soft and feminine. The lotion itself is not greasy, it is easily absorbed into the skin leaving my skin soft and supple with a gorgeous fragrance.

So elegant. First it has a rose scent but settles into delicate soft sweet fragrance. If you put it on thick the scent will last a good while.
