20 Best Hair Trimmer For Balls (2023 Updated)

Having actually been employed on the fringes of the adult entertainment industry, I can report to you that there is a great deal of primping that goes on that you, the end-user, never sees. I have been in the business of removing unwanted body hair for thirty (30) years.

Look no further – you have landed in the right place. This is the voice of experience talking. That being said, this is NOT going to be a tutorial on how to shave your frank and beans. There are PLENTY of online resources available, which are beyond the scope of this product review.

Previously, we have experimented with just about much every method of depilatory except hot wax. Each method has both advantages and disadvantages, the same as in everything else. There is no one method that stands out above all the rest.

However, if this happens to be your first foray, kindly allow me to impart a few pointers, if I may. Handheld trimmers which feature USB charging are safer and easier to operate than units which employ AA batteries.

Units which employ AA batteries, are safer and easier to operate than units which employ a combination of AC adapter and factory-installed Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries. And units which employ AC adapter and Ni-Cad technology, are safer and easier to operate than the old-fashioned corded AC units which simply plug into the wall.

Before we can proceed further there are two major decisions you are going to have to make: 01) Do you have the luxury of someone who is willing to perform the trimming on you. 02) Or are you going to have to perform the trimming yourself.

Additionally, there are two other important factors to consider: 03) Are you more comfortable with wet shaving with water and shaving cream. 04) Or are you more comfortable with shaving things completely dry.

Again, there are advantages and disadvantages to both. As a general rule, if another person is going to perform the required procedure, the decision to shave either wet or dry, is largely a matter of personal preference.

If you are being required to do all the shaving yourself, definitely go dry, at least until you can develop some technique. If you have to go it alone, here are a few additional pointers. The ideal set-up, is seated on a carpet or rug (as this procedure is going to take awhile), with your back being supported by a firm padded bench (like a small ironing board), with your back to a window (you are going to need plenty of light), with a small (roughly 09″ W x 12″ L) mirror on the carpet or rug facing your equipment, propped against some other object, so that the mirror can be easily re-positioned at will.

You are going to want to have that mirror about a foot away from your person. Needless to add, you are probably going to have to make sure that nobody happens by and sees your reflection through the window, unless you are situated somewhere above the ground floor.

When starting out, always have the unit fully charged, always use the longest length of comb (think of it as you would a depth stop on a power saw) first, gradually working your way down to the shorter length combs.

Under no circumstances whatsoever are you to experiment with a bare blade the first time out. Best time to do this type of job is after a shower or bath, when you are relaxed and unhurried. Take your time – relaxing music playing on headphones or in the background will help add to the spa-like experience.

This particular trimmer features a ceramic cutter, which is WAY cool, however, that particular type of cutter as it leaves the factory is as sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, so you probably don’t need me to tell you that you had better watch your step.

One last word of advice. Rome wasn’t built in a day. You are going to have to learn how to SLOW down. WAY down. Shaving your privates is nothing like shaving your face. At least you shall have the satisfaction of using the right too for the job.

This unit was designed specifically to do away with unwanted body hair below the belt, as safely and as easily as possible.

The trimmer and the Meridian site are built entirely for men, but I saw an ad marketed to women and thought I’d try it. It’s smaller than other trimmers, even some made for women, and has a slightly grippy feel in your hand.

The company boasted a safe, close shave. If you consider two-day stubble a close shave, then it works as advertised. It’s not as safe as stated, and absolutely not lady bits approved. I cut myself, luckily only on my thigh, the first time I used it.

And I was being careful. I won’t use it on myself again, but I kept it because I got it on sale and the refund minus shipping was not worth the hassle to return (yeah, they won’t pay for a return label).

Here’s the best thing I can say about this trimmer: It works great to detail my pomeranian’s feet and booty hole.

Its is a VERY high quality product, and does a great job. Shaves VERY close, infact, so close that I did knick em a few times being extra cautious lol. (You NEVER trust the box with your BOYS!) I say IMHO that this thing does alot better than most.

But “most” also arent $60 msrp unless youre going manscape 3. 0, which is $80 msrp, which also, my opinion, delivers a better experience. It goes “against the grain” better when you are in a tight spot LOL, where this one tends to “heat up quick” without a steady light drag, like a buffer on a black mercedes in miami in the summer lol, it doesnt cut you up tho, it just like pinches but it still hurts lol.

Bottom line, it is miles better than a sub $30 trimmer for sure, but, is priced as optioned so to say. SOLID AND “HEAVY but balanced” feeling. This thing litterally feels like a high quality item. The box is put together sort of like an iphone X max box, with nice packaging thru and thru, containing the trimmer, a foil-hole type topped shaver head (that works very well!!!), USB a charging cable (no block, who cares), one snap on blade(has finite lifetime,but easily replaceable), 2 guards with dual lengths, and a cleaning brush.

Pros; Waterproof, THE BATTERY!!!! Advertises 90 minutes, and it would take me months to test it out, but ive put about 20 minutes on it and it still shows full power, runs fast. Would be GREAT for traveling business gentleman wanting a shave downstairs for any reason, lol.

Cons; if your unguarded, then going against the grain (LOL im being Professional here, and all men know exactly what im saying!!) can get a little catchy. I use it in the shower, it helps alot! Even with the occasional “snag” its alot better than razor burn before you go out, and way more efficient for sure lol.

I give it 4 stars. For relation;ManScape 3. 0 also received a 4/5 from me, and I also reviewed the Remington PG6024, a 2/5, which when i purchased was rated 4. 5/5 and only cost $24, and it was awful.

It works great for all of that unwanted hair. My spouse has to use it on my back as I cannot reach it myself. But works so slick, gets rid of that hair in no time, close and smooth. Doesn’t work. It’s supposed to shave hair, and it does not. The clipper side shaves like clippers, and the little edges of the foil side trim hair pretty close, but as far as the foil part goes – it does not shave hair at all.

Complete waste of money and would strongly discourage anyone from ever buying this trash.

This formidable device is able to tackle tough body hairs without jamming nor irritating. I had considered a sheep shearer for my burly mess, but this one solved all issues quickly & easily. The combination groomer/trimmer complement each other, & the ability to overlap when needed.

This trimmer is powerful. It handles the corners like it’s on rails! It glides effortlessly over the hairiest parts without so much as a howdie doo. It cuts close and even better, it doesn’t take much time.

I don’t know who at Ballsy was responsible for this mystical hair destroyer, maybe magical unicorns on the island of smooth, but it’s fantastic. I highly recommend this as once again, their products are top notch.

I got the B & B Trimmer for my husband for our wedding anniversary which was on August 29th. He has tried it several times now but unfortunately does not like it because, “It does not give me a close enough shave.

I bought the balls and body trimmer for my boyfriend and we love them! I have used it to shave his nether regions and used the guides to trim up the hair on his back which is something he never would have considered.

He enjoyed the experience as much as I did. He was very pleased that there we no nicks and shave was closer than he could do himself. He told me I found myself a permanent job which I don’t mind one bit.

It was quite erotic as well. We would both recommend this product!.

As the title says, all of the attachments fall off of the trimmer/groomer as soon as you use it. Brand new out of the package. First time I used it the attachment stayed on for about 5 minutes. Then it popped off.

Thereafter every attachment would fall off within 30 seconds of using it. And they just want stay on no matter how much you try to secure it, fit it, or adjust it. A piece of junk! Dont waste your money.

Dont get ripped off like I did. Buy another brand or model. Wahl should be ashamed of themselves for putting this product on the market.

As a personal groomer, this does what it is supposed to. It trims hair well, and with the foil part, it actually gives quite a close shave. It is loud though. Probably the loudest I have owned. But it is a Wahl, a very good name.

I would prefer it quieter, but I like the results, hence the 4 stars rather than 5.

Seller gave a very fair price. The unit works good, well constructed. At first you have to examine the attachments to see how they fasten onto the unit, but it all works good.

I have never been so comfortable around my sensitive areas than I have with the Manscape Lawnmower. It has never nicked me, cut me, nor snatched/tugged the hair out. It glides smoothly. The light illuminates the way to each hair.

It does a great overall job. I even experimented with shaving my legs with it and let me tell you: my legs haven’t felt this smooth since I was a baby! If you’re looking for a quality groom and trimming tool, go with this! You won’t be disappointed!.

I was really skeptical about this product, Mainly because I used a regular clipper and a blade. But this is pretty easy to use. This is a little different from clippers because the trimming edge has a protector near the blade that prevents it from cutting your skin.

It’s still not idiot-proof and you can still cut yourself with this product but it is a lot safer. The battery lasted a while to clip my area and it’s waterproof so I can bring this into the shower. LED light comes in handy.

I love the additional lotion and body wash. It really makes my area smooth. I think there was a review here or somewhere on the net saying that there are no replacement blades. Go to manscape’s website and they do sell the blades.

This trimmer was a Father’s Day gift for my husband. It was a great package with the accessories until the “waterproofed” product filled with water and no longer would turn off. Target would not do an exchange because the cleansers and other accessories were used.

They were used because they worked. The trimmer was one month old. One month. They did not care. We asked for a solution. They said it was our problem. I have never had bad customer service until this item.

This was an expensive loss.

Growing up in the 70’s, Remington was a valued & trusted brand with great quality. Nowadays I am very disappointed in the final product. Trying out this Graphite G3 Multi Series, I was expecting to see a product that matched or bettered the competition, but alas, it was not to be.

Product wise & design wise, the G3 really has to ability to be a really good competitor in the market, with a range of head options, a nice look & feel & a really nice pouch for storage & protection when not in use.

Unfortunately though the overall package is let down by a very poor battery. It takes too long to charge & really doesn’t last as long as I would have expected. After a few minutes use, the battery which doesn’t seem to last or produce sufficient grunt for the tougher beards.

In my opinion, if Remington was to change the battery to a lithium one, at the same price level, then I am sure that they would have a winner. With this battery, it is a disappointment.

Light, small and easily handled at every cutting angle. Excellent cutting with no catching or pulling of hair as it cuts, regardless of volume of hair being cut. Fine trimming without any head accessories does not graze or cut the skin.

Nose trimmer is the absolute best I’ve ever used, shaped to perfectly fit the nose cavity with enough wiggle room to cut everything you need. Hair trimmer was a blessing while in Covid-lockdown and couldn’t go to a hairdresser.

Used the different trim settings on the guide to give myself a short haircut a few times while restricted to home for 12 weeks (and counting) so far. Also excellent for trimming my beard using the cutting guides.

Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a trimmer for any single need, but as a bonus can be used for a wide range of hair trimming needs.

I bought this because the spec says it cuts closer than the others I looked at and it was well priced. It’s easy to use and does provide a close cut but it can’t handle anything resembling thicker hair as it tends to bog down.

I don’t have a problem with that, you can’t really expect too much from something like this. The real issue I have is charging and battery life. I’ve only used it a dozen times and already the battery dies after a few minutes.

The charge light will mostly not be on but randomly blink. Clearly there’s an issue with charging.

I am very pleased with my trimmers. Both peices work well, with a low noise level. I didn’t realize they would require 3 aa batteries until I opened the package but that is probably my own fault for being in a hurry and assuming they would have internal rechargeable batteries.

This oversight on my part does not diminish my high opinion of the devices now that I have used them for several weeks. I would happily buy them again.

This trimmer is well made, just like their Wahl pro barber clipper. The blade is a scaled down version of the same tough one on the pro barber clipper. Comes with four different sizes guide combs, clipper oil, comb, cleaning brush, blade protector, nose hair trimmer and organizer tray.

There are only two issues I find with it: 1) The organizer tray does not have a spot for the nose hair trimmer. Maybe because the nose hair trimmer is an added bonus item. 2) Some of the guide combs are difficult to remove from the blade.

I have to use a bird beak pliers to lift the tabs to get them off. I guess with use they will loosen up overtime. I added a pic with everything in the organizer tray for you to see. Take a look.

This is a great beard trimmer. Not sure how else to say it but it feels compact and tight (in a good way) whereas other beard trimmers I’ve used felt like they could fall apart any second. Good power and the battery lasts a long time.

AA battery. Don’t use it on your hair (I have short hair and it didn’t do anything except pull my hair). I like the nose trimmer is a separate device as well so you don’t have to take the attachment piece off each time to switch between beard and nose trimmer.

Great value and I highly recommend.

This works if you go very slowly and carefully. It is probably easier if you can maintain a shaving regiment. The best things I noticed were the size of the trimmer is perfectly compact, the built in flashlight is very appreciated, the battery life is great, the charger is awesome and the machine is light.

Really like this shaver.  it’s better than the version 3.0. I just hope it doesn’t die like my last one did within nine months of purchasing it. Its built well and do like the charger over the 3.0.

Item was not sealed in original wrapper. They have a strict no return policy, yet charging full price for used and damaged items. The liners were cutting my clients right out the box. I’m out of money and no liners.

On my second haircut with a new barber, he used this trimmer / shaver. I was looking for a good one and I asked him what type it was. I was familiar with the Wahl brand, and had a larger type a number of years ago, which was also good.

But this one, with the compactness, but with the wide blade and fine edge, really gets close to the skin. I prefer to use this rather than any more dedicated electric beard shaver I’ve come across (my last one was a cordless and the battery went in no time and always had to use it plugged in anyway, and even then it tended to be weak, and eventually the on/off button failed).

This shaver is much better quality, the corded design means you’ll never have to wait for a charge or have weak performance. I’d recommend it to anybody for beard trimming / shaving or just for haircuts and edging on the neck-line, etc.

Okay ladies. listen up!! I went to EWC about a month ago to get a wax and OMG. I had the WORST reaction! Ingrowns, hair bumps, marks. the literal worst! I ended up holding back from any action with my S/O just because I didn’t want him to see what she looked like down there.

the best decision EVER! I used it for the first time tonight and I swear I will never get another wax because. what’s the point?! This thing makes it look like I just had a wax! This is the best trimmer. Best quality and works best for men’s needs. Tried several Philips Norelco but this is far superior. Although the price could be a little better.

I bought this over a week ago after initial good reviews of this product. So, after this product arrived I expected it to be a good but we all know how it is with trimmers. They say they won’t cut you but you get it close to your skin and you get cut.

However, after trying this product, I must slow this one blew my mind. The machine has a premium feel and the charging is really quick. The machine literally glides over your body. The trimmer is so good that you just gotta give one go and its clean.

The trimmer works best when dry and on your hands, legs and chest. Now, after you have trimmed it down, the shaver gives a finishing touch to your body. This shaver works so well that it leaves the razors to the dust in terms of shaving feel without any cuts or nicks.

The after feel of shaver is so smooth that you would never want use a razor on your body for the smooth feel. Now the main part is to use it down there. Initially, I was bit sceptical and was extremely cautious as every time I was down there with any tool, I use to get cut somehow or another.

But boy, this machine works wonders down there. I have never been so stress free with the manscaping. The machine shaves so efficiently all along the corners and edges. Don’t get me wrong here, haha.

Also, this one being waterproof, it’s so easy to clean and shave in the shower. Must say this one even though a bit expensive, the advantages outweigh the cost by miles. Love this product. I have used it to shave my ‘personal’ areas with no nicks or discomfort. It takes a little time and patience (and ideally a good mirror – haha) but it does work on my wrinkly bits in the ‘personal area’ leaving them lovely and smooth.

Hoping this review isn’t too full on, but I sense that’s what most gentleman will be asking themselves when thinking about purchasing. It really is ‘all over’ the body.

Whilst the trimmer/clipper end of the groomer is very good, the shaver head is obscenely loud. It sounds more like a power tool than a body shaver! With that considered, I do not use the shaving head, and it is therefore just a very expensive clipper for me.

I am surprised nobody else has mentioned this, perhaps mine is faulty? If anybody from Philips can comment on this that’d be great.

Fully bearded guy, I need to trim on occasion. My existing trimmer, purchased overseas for travel, finally caught fire and died gloriously, and I found myself in need of a replacement. I had no interest in the Conair, Wahl, Gillette, Phillips-Norelco stuff that all come with 15 bazillion attachments that are sized in either metric, inch, adjustable wrench, or the Periodic Table of the elements.

Over the years I accumulated a bathroom drawer full of the things, none of which ever seemed to fit the trimmer I had at the moment, and I chucked them all out the day I went looking for something new.

Following a short Google search, I narrowed myself down to a pair of Braun models: the BT3240 and the BT5240. The BT3240 is the bargain basement Braun product that gives you 80 minutes of rechargeable battery life and requires 8-10 hours to recharge.

The BT5240 that I purchased for only $5 more gives you a better rechargeable battery that provides 100 minutes worth of use and requires only 1 hour to recharge. All other functions are virtually identical.

Both of them come with a Gillette 5 blade handheld Fuzion razor which is of no use to me at all, and will rattle around in a junk drawer for the next six years until I chuck it out as well during a cleaning frenzy.

The BT5240 is not considered a “precision trimmer”, so if you need that sort of thing you may want to consider the Braun BT5260. I’ve now used the BT5240 3 times and it is a great piece of gear that does what I need it to.

Very adaptable for different beard lengths, easy to use, has two adapters that cover most any beard length you need to chop, and doesn’t include a lot of unnecessary fluff like a travel bag that rips as soon as you stare at it wrong.

In summary: BT5240 is $5 more expensive, but has a better battery. 39 length adjustment settings Lithium-Ion battery, 100 minutes run time, 1 hour recharge. 5 minute quick charge good for one trim if you wake up to a discharged trimmer.

Charging and Low battery indicators Corded or cordless use. Fully washable, but not designed to be submerged.

The product is advertised by Braun and other online sellers as having a variable length of supposedly 1mm -20mm (2cm) on the razor itself, which you can dial from 1 – 20 – so you don’t need to have a lot of attachments to switch out for different parts of your beard.

I tend to groom my beard on the longish side, so I thought with the two attachments included, this would give me plenty of variety of lengths. It turns out the max length difference, with the dial turned all the way up, is about 4 or 5mm.

The 0 – 200mm positions (0. 2mm increments) includes what you can achieve WITH the attachments. Confusing at best, pretty dishonest to my thinking, and next to useless even if you want to have a very close-cropped beard (who needs to adjust their beard length 0.

25mm??) Might work for someone who doesn’t want or need to adjust the beard length much and cuts it very close, but then why pay the extra money for the dial? A waste of money for me.

Ever since deciding to grow short beard over the last few years, I’ve had to maintain it, which meant finding a good trimmer. I’ve been using this Braun 7-in-1 Trimmer for about two months now, and I am thoroughly impressed at the workhorse it has become.

I usually like to trim my beard when the hair is dry, and this has no problem helping me maintain an evenly trimmed, nice looking appearance. What’s even more impressive is if I hop out of the shower in the morning and want to trim any facial hair, I’m able to do so using this trimmer, too.

The built-in lithium ion battery lasts a long time; I’ve never had to worry about it ever running out, and I really like that this is rechargeable (takes about an hour) and is super easy to plug in and charge.

This trimmer allegedly has 13 length settings, but I’ve probably only used about 3 or 4, and that’s impressive enough to me. I’m able to clean the trimmer by running it under water. so simple. There’s a little brush that’s included to help with cleaning, but I haven’t had a need to use it, yet.

In addition to all of the combs, trimmer, detail trimmer, and charger, and cleaning brush, this kit comes with a separate Gillette Fusion 5 ProGlide razor, which was thoughtful, as I use it to shave past where I want my beard to end, and it gets the job done.

Braun has always been a reliable brand for me when it comes to trimmers, and this model is worth looking into if you want a solid trimmer in a great kit.

We have owned several brands of clippers. My husband cuts his own hair. This is the BEST one we have owned. The blades are sharp and easily cut his hair The quality and price of this product are excellent.

For this price, long lasting and does the job. Doesn’t come with any guards, bummer. The shave, not as close as I’d like it to be either. Not much of a difference between my clippers and this trimmer.

The Peanut trimmers are great for trimming around ears or just getting a real close precise cut. The Designer clippers are good with guards for clipper haircutting.

It is powerful and cuts well. The various clip ons are very useful, as is the waterproof-ness. Overall, quite handy and good enough for its price. However, I have some issues with this product that motivate me to deem it quite average.

The charging light never goes off, so I can never be sure if it’s finished charging (which I am assuming ruins the battery). Also, given that the on/off functionality is a switch instead of a button, if you accidentally leave it on (as I once did) while it’s charging, it will still be dead when you unplug it.

Part of the problem is that there is no way to tell how much battery life your device has left, which makes me always trim my beard as quick as I can, at least in the first passing, to make sure I get everything, since it may or may not die on me (although this seems to be a feature lacking in many affordable groomers).

I do appreciate, however, that instead of switching off immediately when it’s dead, it gradually slows down, so you have a few seconds to finish off the job. Also, although I haven’t timed it, I don’t believe to have achieved the 80-min run time.

This may be due to the above criticisms regarding the charging of this device, since the first time I took it out of the box, it lasted quite a bit.

This product is extremely versatile with the fact that it caters to all my grooming needs with the vast amount of attachments that comes with it. Due to me preferring a cleaner shave the most used attachment by far is the standard larger shaving one (typical clipper attachment).

I use this daily to shave my face as its quick and convient to use compared to your typical razer. It cut s through the facial hair nicely and with over a years worth of use I have had only one time when it was low on battery when it pulled.

My second go to attachment is the body shaving one which I use with the skin guard on this works great though when used wet it can miss a few hairs. Which is why I have given a 4 star and not a 5. In terms of charging its fantastic I only need to charge once every 10 days.

Though when I use for my body I may need to charge sooner due to longer usage time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a convient way to shave both face and body and if you have a beard it would be ideal due to different attachment size as well as the detailer attachment.

I have deducted one star because of Phillips wasting my time and refusing to publish my previous review because I ‘mentioned a competitor’. This is insane because of course people make purchasing decisions based on what else is available on the market, and may compare a shaver to one they have used in the past.

OK, so I bought this shaver to replace an aging [rusty kitchen knife] made by [elves in a mountain cave]. The old [rusty kitchen knife] had served me well for many years but was falling apart frankly, and had to be held together with sticky tape to stop the blade catching and pulling hairs.

Anyway, it was a pleasure to use the Phillips shaver for the first time. It cuts easily and smoothly with no suspicion of pulling or catching. I mainly used the bare normal-width cutter on my head, and used that cutter with various comb atttachments for the beard.

Both worked very well. I think in the end the only attachment I need is the adjustable-length comb attachment. It’s really hard to fault this Phillips Series 7000 shaver/trimmer. Just a couple of things: 1.

In common with the [rusty kitchen knife] I used before, it is possible to accidentally turn this item on in a bag when travelling, but unlike the [rusty kitchen knife] I cannot take the batteries out to prevent this when travelling, so I will have to devise some way of overcoming this problem.

The ON/OFF switch in fact is very flat and very easy to activate inadvertently. A shame the designers did not think of this. 2. The main trimmer attachment does not shave as close as the [rusty kitchen knife] from [those famous elves] I had used before, but life is short and so is the number of days a really short trim will stay short, so it’s fine.

3. I think it is a bit weird these days to make a product that cannot be charged from a stadard USB charger point, or from a computer USB socket. Keep up, Phillips! Otherwise it’s a good bit of kit. I have read reviews saying that these Series 7000 shavers have been failing suddenly electrically after a few months, but I decided to take a punt, and I’m glad I did.

I’ve made sure to take advantage of all available (free!) extended warranties from Phillips, by registering the product, etc, so if it does flake out in that period they should send me a new one, and I’m happy with that.

In short, it’s a good shaver.

Bought this to replace a cheaper set of clippers. We use them on our son who hated hair cuts because the cheaper clippers nipped/pulled. These clippers glide through hair without any trouble. They are quieter than the cheaper clippers (anyone who has been to a barbers and had clippers will know what they sound like) and because they cut so well on the first pass, hair cuts are a lot quicker.

They are quite heavy, and the comb attachments are quite long, which means you have to be a bit more careful when cutting a childs hair (smaller head), but ideal for what we want.

Quiet and very sharp very happy . work in a barbers so charge lasts all day .

Na enkele weken gebruik kan ik dit enkel bevestigen. Ik had van het merk nog nooit gehoord om eerlijk te zijn, maar ik ben er er echt heel tevreden van en kan enkel bevestigen dat dit met voorsprong de beste tondeuse is die ik ooit heb gebruikt.

I found this trimmer to be a good all round basic beared trimmer. I really like how it is compact and unlike traditional hair trimmers with removable cutting guards for different lengths, this trimmer has it all built in to one.

You are able to adjust the lengths with the numbered dial on the trimmer it’s self, so no more loosing the guards! I found it to cut great with no snagging etc. The length you set it at stays the same meaning there isn’t any chance of it going shorter than expected.

So far I have found the battery life to be good and only needed to do an initial charge so far. It feels well made. The overall shape/design means it can be a little awkward to get into the contours of the face but it’s manageable that would be reason for only giving 4 out of 5 stars.

Comes with charger and a handy bag to keep everything in. Overall good basic rechargeable trimmer would be perfect for traveling.

The thing I find with Remington is that they seem to cover a wide range of price points, so you never really know if that means all will be of a similar quality, or you get better the more you pay. With the B4 Style Series, it is on the lower end of the price range, and it is really just a cheap and cheerful trimmer that is oversold on the box.

The trimmer has self sharpening blades, so no need to us oil on them so that is a bonus. In terms of lengths, there is a wide range of lengths to choose from, which on the box seems great, but I found the longer the length, the more hairs that are missed by the trimmer, so you need to go over the same area many times.

Another positive is that it seems to charge quite quickly to start with so if you need a quick trim, you can charge in the morning and have enough time to give a quick once over. The trimmer as always does come with a travel pouch, but the quality is really bad, I don’t see it lasting very long at all! I would recommend this trimmer to be for someone on a budget, and isn’t worried about additional features or superior cutting from the blades.

I’ve tried several beard trimmers over the years and this product is up there with the best. It looks great, has nice colours and is shaped well so handling isn’t an issue when getting under the neck and sides.

It trims effortlessly keeping the beard nice and tidy leaving no irritating long hairs so my beard is the same length all over. It comes with several guards and so far the ones I’ve used are all easy to fit, and remove and all appear to trim the beard to the required lengths.

One added bonus I found was that it’s also quieter than other beers trimmers when in use. Overall a great product that I’ll be using again and again.
