I used brylcream for years as my Father did and his father before him. For the hold and shine and clean look of a gentleman. I am here to tell anyone that this greaseless hair tonic is the best thing for grooming a man since hair products were invented.

With this product you get hold yet you can still run your hand through your hair! Or your lady friend can! The scent is clean not overbearing and blends well with the other Clubman products. It dries well and leaves your hair clean feeling.

I have extremely thick hair and it holds my hair where I want it all day long, even if I sweat a bit it still holds hair in place when dry gain. My 7 year old uses it now as well. Great product!.

I bought this stuff because the price was right. Its not bad. It has a very strong scent to it. If you sniff the bottle, its like sniffing an ammonia inhalant. However, it has an ok hold to it if you are using it with a blow dryer especially if you are using it as a thickening agent before applying a pomade.

It is very watery and not remotely thick. Its ok, not exactly great, but not bad either. Its cheaper than Reuzels grooming tonic and you get a reasonable amount. Its not a bad back up tonic to hold onto for in between buying better quality brands.

I wouldnt exactly call it my go-to tonic, but its alright for the price.

This is an American Classic. Been around about a lot of years and I love it. My grand father (born 1898) used it, and I grew up with it. I stopped using it during my mid years due to lots of travel. but now its my go to hair conditioning tonic.

It’s the best product that I ever used for my hair! I have a lot of hair, but fine hair, also its pretty long. With the first usage of it I already noticed a huge difference then without. It looks thicker, like you got even more hair, the texture is grants is extremly good and prepares your hair for every wax or clay that may come after, but even without that it really got a great hold and texture to it.

Also adds a matt finish, but doesnt makes your hair look like hay, like most salt spray do. Although it might be a bit though to blowdry your hair, its worth the effort and you end up with a great result.

And on top of all that is this really cheap price that everyone can effort if he wants to and the product itself last more than 2 months. I really recommend everyone to try it out, especially if you got thin or fine hair!.

After using Vitalis hair tonic for 3 decades I’m very disappointed with my last purchase at Walmart. The second I poured out my first use it went through my hands like water. What kind of scam is this?First of all there is no more V7.

On damp hair, even distribution is effortless. On dry hair, a little touch up on any fly-away or frizzy hair is very quick, clean and easy. Vitalis is a very light, product that easily dispenses the desired amount from the small hole on the flip top.

It has an element that evaporates quickly in the hair, leaving fluffy, fly-away hair with a little more ‘tooth’ with itself. Vitalis is flammable. It is not oily when used only as needed. Too much of the product can make the hair appear a little oily, even though Vitalis is not.

I just started using hair tonics a few months ago. I have tried the Eau De Quinne which I really like and I alternate between this Jeris Hair Tonic as I like it just as much. I have a short taper and fade, AKA standard mens cut and these tonics add just enough body to the hair to help it stay in place better, minimal control I call it.

Its not a paste or putty for a firm harder hold, but it does keep it more in place and makes it easy to restyle with a damp comb or pocket brush. I rub it through the hair and into the scalp and it really makes the scalp feel fresh and clean.

As for the smell, I like it a lot as does my wife, We don’t pick up the menthol or eucalyptus others have mentioned but we smell a light fresh clean powdery scent. Even if you use it generously a few times a day a bottle of this will last a good long time and is quite a bargain! I am very glad I decided to try hair tonics!!!.

I bought the hair tonic as a replacement for a more expensive conditioner I usually use (Baxter of California) to see if there was any noticeable difference. The scent of the tonic is very similar to that of Pinaud’s Lucky Tiger aftershave.

It is a fleeting scent, with citrus notes, that will not leave your hair smelling too strong. As for the effectiveness of the tonic, I have noticed a large difference in the softness of my hair since making the shift.

I apply after I come out of the shower, and pour a small amount into my hands which I massage into my scalp similar to how I would apply shampoo. The tonic is a good choice for someone looking for smoother hair, and I would recommend this for people with thick hair to whom regular conditioner does not suffice.

I bought of bottle of this from a salon at twice the price, so from a value perspective this is a big thumbs up. Gives you light hold without a super-wet look. Just put a decent amount of hair tonic in your hands, apply thoroughly to your hair, blow dry to the point where your hair was drying but is still damp, then comb/brush.

Your hair will keep that semi wet look with a light hold. The tonic also brings your hair color down a bit. I have brown hair that’s turning grey quickly, this makes my hair look less grey for some reason.

Fragrance is not perfume(y) at all, just a simple barber shop clean smell.

The product in the picture is different than what I received. My boyfriend has used Suave 2 in 1 for a long time (the one in the picture) and I loved the smell. Recently,Suave changed the product and renamed it “Ocean Charge” 2 in 1.

I couldn’t find the old version anywhere and was pleased that I found it on Amazon and bought 10 bottles trying to stock up. I was very disappointed when I received my package and found 10 bottles of the new version “Ocean Charge”! I don’t like the new version and wish Amazon had updated their image – I would not have made the purchase.

Very good product, because it gives people the delusion that you have more hair with it’s full and thick appearance. I also found it to be gentle for every day use if needed. I like this stuff. It is cooling to my irritated scalp and with a warm blow dryer really plumps up my hair.

I’m on my 3rd bottle and will continue to buy it. This works really well on my hair, dry or wet and I only use a couple of sprays.

I’m biracial with slightly wavy, thick hair. I keep a medium fade style with a 1/4 inch faded on the sides, and about 2-3 inches on the top. This product has the perfect hold for daily use. I love the smell and so does my girlfriend.

Reliable as the non-spray bottles. The sprayer sticks when pumping. It sticks to the lock position. Two sprayers have done it. This is my only issue. I transferred the product to a different sprayer and I am getting the Reuzel results I was expecting.

It’s great stuff I just need to learn to use it better. I have thin /fine hair. It does thicken up some but it’s sticky kind of like hair spray (but not exactly) I plan to follow it up with a lighter pomade so as not to weight it down.

As a teacher I’m off in summer and haven’t used it much though and hope to gain experience as the school year get rolling again. I have really liked every Ruzel product I have used.

Must have if you want volume, smells of apple cider, needs blow drier, has some holding strength but did not test since my hair 7cm+ so didn’t hold my hair for too long, but enough to put some pomade and get a pomp.

Liquid is sticky, maybe consider buying the one with spray dosator, I seem to lose too much product because pour it into my palm but it should be into hair. Has very low shine, but not matte.

I use this pretty much every day. When I’m doing the full routine, I’ll towel dry my hair, use this stuff, comb it through, use a hair dryer, then apply pomade. For days where I am short on time or motivation, I’ll skip the hair dryer and the pomade.

This has a light hold and when the hair dries naturally, it looks good. Washes out easily and doesn’t leave the hair feeling greasy.

This product definitely is not just for men! If used as instructed, your hair really will start to grow back thicker and healthier. It just needs to become a part of daily routine. I would only recommend that it is also labeled for women, as a dermatologist recommended it.

Interessanter, leicht exotischer und markanter Duft, der qualitativ hochwertig anmutet. Meine Freundin fand ihn angenehm, sonst, also bspw. im Arbeitsumfeld, fiel er aber weder positiv noch negativ auf.

-Wirkung- Angenehm kühlend, aber mit austrocknender Wirkung bei regelmäßiger Anwendung (bei mir trat der Effekt bei der vierten Anwendung auf) durch den hohen Einsatz von Alkohol. Versprochen wird eine leichte Stylebarkeit des Haars auch nach Anwendung des Produkts.

Im Test mit 2 Wachsen und einem Gel hat sich das als zutreffend herrausgestellt. -Haltbarkeit- Nach der vierten Anwendung habe ich die Benutzung des Produkts eingestellt- deswegen fällt mir eine Haltbarkeitsschätzung schwer.

I use this in the morning if it’s a day I’m not washing my hair. It breaks down the pomade so I can run my comb through it to style it again, then as it dries and the pomade works again (especially after a little of the styling tonic), my pompadour is ready to go another day, piled and styled! The only problem is there needs to be a travel size bottle like there is for the styling tonic and body wash.
