I received this product free from Influenster and L’Oréal Paris in exchange for my honest review! To start off, I myself did not get the opportunity to use this dye since I just recently got my hair done, however a good friend allowed me to give her a makeover and boy does she look great! First and foremost I usually do not use box dye products, but this dye surprised me to the fullest! I was pleased to learn that the product was conditioning and came with a tube to strengthen the intensity as well as the “shimmering/highlight” effect.

The dye was quick to setup and processing only took 25 minutes! Likewise, the product did NOT stain skin as badly as it said though I was very careful around the hairline. The dye also was not strong smelling, like most dyes making you lightheaded with ammonia and other chemicals.

I was honestly unsure how the tone was going to come out since my friend had a rather badly toned blonde that was already chemically treated to begin with. But I was very pleased with the results and the tone overall! I definitely could see that shimmery highlighted effect as her hair came out with different tones of violets and blues even! The color is so vibrant and made her hair look very healthy.

Furthermore, the dye came with both conditioning shampoo and conditioner which worked like a charm. Overall I’m really pleased with this, YES BOX DYE and I hope that the color lasts for her. This is my 1 and only hair dye that I’ll use, Loreal Paris Feria Intense Copper. I tried to picked the intense copper but wouldn’t allow me to click on it. I can’t tell you @lorealparis how many compliments I get on my hair color 🤩 As everyone tells me, the color suits me too a tea!!! I made the BIGGEST MISTAKE during the pandemic, I couldn’t finding Intense Copper anywhere.

Vibrant, soft and fun! I started with light brown hair, level 5-6, and went to this beautiful, edgy red. I love it! Its the expected color shown on the box and just what I was looking for! Application can be messy, so take precautions before you even start.

The smell really isn’t strong IMO, and it doesn’t linger. Hoping the red stays vibrant and doesn’t fade too quickly. Very happy with this dye!! A few tips… Wear black, something easy to remove. I moved my bathroom rugs and made sure to put a damp wash cloth within reach to catch drips on my skin.

I always section my hair for even coverage. Use (better) gloves to apply, and don’t squeeze too much out, it’s rather runny.

I have white/silver bleached hair and this is the only purple shampoo I’ll use now. It never tints my ends purple/lavender, dulls my color, and keeps me so so bright without drying out my hair like a lot of other purple shampoos.

My hair is super soft when I use this even before I put in my conditioner. And a little goes SUCH a long way because it’s so pigmented, I only use about a nickle or quarter sized amount for my short, but thick, hair and it’s enough.

This bottle will last me forever. I’m usually super critical of purple shampoos to the point that the only other one I actually like is Shu Uemura’s crazy expensive one (Fanola sucks, Amika is harsh, Kerastase is lacking pigment, Matrix and Redken are splotchy, etc) but this works brilliantly.

I feel like a lot the bad reviews are from people who still don’t know how to properly use a toning shampoo or know what to expect from a professional/salon tier one – but you cannot treat this like a lot of other purple shampoos such as Fanola, Matrix, etc.

You MUST apply on damp hair to prevent staining and avoid getting the shampoo on your ends (the rinse off from the roots and mids is what tones the ends), really massage it into your hair to make sure the pigment is emulsified and spread out (should look like an almost pastel purple), and you shouldn’t leave it longer than about 5 minutes.

Even on my 2c/3a hair I can only do about 2min before rinsing. You also shouldn’t be using a whole lot of this or you increase the likelihood of having silver/purple hair. It spreads out a lot once you get it lathering! Add more if you need to, but start with just a little! If your hair is so brassy this is turning it purple, you’re either leaving it on way too long or your hair is super damaged and porous and needs a protein treatment first.

If your hair looks darker after, well, cool pigments look darker than warm pigments so that’s normal and not a fault of the product.

For me, this product is an absolute winner. I have ashy highlights which just love love love to go yellow on me. In one shampoo, leaving it on for just one minute, it toned them down. By the second, leaving it on for two minutes, they’re almost perfect.

Next time, I will leave it on for the full three minutes, but I preferred to go slowly just in case my results were not as expected. My highlights look so good, it looks as though I went to the salon and got them toned.

That is how good it is. A few tips for those who have complained about this shampoo. First, it is Sulfate free AND silicone free. It is a color toning shampoo, NOT a conditioning shampoo. I shampooed right before using it with Living Proof Restore, and then did a solid, good conditioning, my hair was left in great shape.

It also lathered just fine. If you hair is full of silicone residue, then maybe this shampoo is not enough to remove it. If you are not used to a sulfate and silicone free shampoo, you may feel like your hair is straw, but honestly, it feels like many other sulfate and silicone free shampoos if you don’t condition.

If you want a conditioning type of product there are other purple shampoos and conditioners that promise more conditioning. I LIKE this one BECAUSE I can then continue to use my own conditioning regimen.

Second, I wore gloves just to be sure the first time. No purple lingered on my hands at all, but, I was sure to rinse them off after applying and lathering and again after rinsing. No staining at all Third, was with any toning shampoo, I suggest starting slowly to see how your hair reacts.

Those folks who left it on five or ten minutes the first time – well, you can’t blame your oddball results when the instructions say leave on one to three minutes!.

Let me start by saying that I am thrilled Olaplex did not add dimethicone or other silicone in this shampoo! Another plus is that this is the most effective purple shampoo I’ve used, and I’ve tried them all.

I’ve seen some negative reviews, so I’ll snowball on those and give some solutions. Several of the top ingredients are surfactants/ lathering agents, which is odd bc this shampoo really struggles to lather, but it can account for the drying effect reviewers mentioned.

As for the waxy residue, this is probably due to the “coating” agent. I’ve experimented, and I’ve found some solutions that work for me. 1. Apply to the brassiest sections when hair is dry- do not apply to pale blonde hair, only to level 7 or darker orangey pieces- for 15 mins or so.

Hop in shower, wet hair, and use a mild shampoo to spread through rest of hair and rinse. 2. Use clarifying shampoo first, use Olaplex as directed and use a comb in shower to evenly distribute. 3. Mix with your regular shampoo so it lathers and spreads – this creates a subtler toning, but you can use it more often since the purple is diluted.

4. Yes, this will turn your hair purple if it used too long or on super light, porous hair. 5. To prevent staining your hands and nails purple, either wear gloves or wash hands immediately after application.

Like any pigmented hair product, this is meant to saturate whatever it touches. All that said, this is the best shampoo I’ve found to correct super brassy hair (when using the methods above).

I’ve used many relaxers over the years and much prefer Optimum. However, lately the formula has been too liquidy, which means there’s greater mess, more a chance that it gets on already relaxed hair, and that it can fall in your eyes.

This is a poor design. There is no benefit to overly runny relaxer. Next time, I will add the activator little by little until it gets the consistency I want. My hair still turned out nice though.

Recommend it for those who safely search for a good straightener without worries regarding hair breakage or possible hair loss. Always search for a straightener that has an indicator when all the straightening process is gone from your hair to prevent further damage.

This product has an indicator that warns you through instructions the correct process to safely straighten your hair. This straightener comes as mild, regular, and super. Consult your hairstylist to make a better choice before buying.

This review is for the Regular Strength Optimum Salon Haircare Defy Breakage No Lye Relaxer Kit. I switched to this product after getting less than optimal results with an Olive Oil brand relaxer. I am super happy! My hair is shiny, and straight.

Friends thought I was wearing a lace front! With the other relaxer, it wouldn’t smooth even when a flat iron was used. Hopefully, the formula won’t change anytime soon because it works great for my 4C hair.

My daughter loves these unique Barbies and their beautiful hair. This one especially, has multi-toned fuschia highlights and is ultra soft. Even prettier in person! Since she came with a blow dryer and a brush, so much imagination can go into playing beauty salon now.

My daughter was very excited to discover this doll in her stocking and opened her right away. She loves the purple/pink hair and it’s very soft. I thought it was kind of flat at first but it fluffed up nicely after some play.

The doll’s dress/apron is very cute and detailed on the front but the back is just completely blank white which I found a bit odd which is why I rated her 4 stars. Overall, the doll is great and everything I’d expect of Barbie quality and I foresee many more happy games of getting my hair done by her.

My 4yo loves her new Barbie “Salon Stylist” doll. She acts out cutting and styling all of her other dolls hairs using the blowdryer and real brush tools and acts out getting money for her work and closing her shop when she’s done.

I have long, fine, compromised (bleached twice a year) hair. I only wash my hair twice a week max. I’m super careful about what tools I use on it. I held off for awhile on this tool with it in my Ulta fave list.

Finally bit the bullet and have used it 4 or 5 times. I absolutely love it. It makes the best waves. It only takes me 10 minutes (max) to do my entire head.

I bought this to perm my mother’s hair. She has complained for a while now that her hair has gotten thinner. So I googled how to perm hair, ordered this perm and some rods, and got to work. The worst part was that it took so long to roll the hair on the rods.

As you can see from the picture the curls turned out very well and really lasted a long time. I liked it so much that I ordered one and permed my own hair. This is the first perm I’ve had in several years! Mine also did well and I have so much more body.

There was no noticeable damage to our hair. Mine is color treated, my mother’s is not. I should note, too, that we both have thyroid issues but there was no problem with this perm “taking”. This was also very inexpensive.

I’ve never permed my own hair before. I didn’t research and have long hair and didn’t use that many rods (especially on top). The top didn’t take as much as the rest of the hair (I only waited 20 minutes since u died my hair 8 wks b4).

So permed my hair again with thus product (20 minutes on top and the last 10 minutes I put on the rest of head). I have no damage and the results that I wanted!! I am 46 and my hair is starting to gray on top, so that could be why I had to put in longer.

Great product!! I have thin but a lot of hair and it didn’t fry or lighten my color. I work at a hospital and I wanted a low maintenance hairdo. My hair was frizzy b4. Now I have spirals! I put in the leave on provided and a thicker leave in on the ends.

Also, I only needed 1 box. There was plenty of product.

If I could give 0, I would. Bought two boxes because my hair is so thick and long. It’s been about ten years since I permed my hair, but I always used whatever Walmart had but it always worked. I’m 27 now.

It came out as scrunchy beach waves like I wanted. We followed the directions to a T. Didn’t wash for two days. As soon as I washed it, my hair looked exactly like before. Please don’t buy this. Not only doesn’t it work but the process smells disgusting, the drip guard sucks (I now have chemical burn on my forehead), and even though the curls didn’t stick, my head still permeates perm smell when it gets the slightest bit wet.

Got at the same time as a T3 single pass. The T3 still smooths hair after over 3 years. This Croc was more at the time, so I’m a bit disappointed that the cheaper T3 outperforms the Croc. I do not like the way it looks, I think that’s why I always passed on it since I first saw it in 08.

I finally came around because of the good reviews. After 2nd year it starts to take more passes to flatten and it still looks like you obviously used a flat iron because it the ends are not smooth. A lot of damage is caused by repeatedly going over, so if you don’t want to go over more than once then you’ll end up with your hair a little fluffier than sleek.

Would I buy it again, no. Too hefty and it took some getting used to. I’d rather stick to something more traditional and lighter/slimmer. And I’d also want something that will leave the hair smooth without going over so many times.

This flat iron was good to me for over 6 years. Although it was slightly heavier/bulky, it did the job and I appreciated the adjustable settings. Yesterday, out of no where, I could smell plastic burning, then noticed the heat setting dropping, then a total shut off.

I received this hair dye to trial as part of the Beauty Review Crew. I have used this brand of hair dye a few times over the past couple years. In particular, I have used the shade ‘Darkest brown’ which is the same shade I’m trialing today.

The shade has always been is a lovely vibrant colour and the colour result is similar to my natural hair colour. The dye promises to 100% grey hair coverage and it lives up to its promise. Preparing the dye for application is nice and easy.

After applying the gloves that are included in the packaging, you pour the colour formula into the bottle of developer before placing the lid back on and shaking the bottle until completely mixed. It’s that easy! Then starting at the roots, you evenly apply the dye.

The dye goes on smoothly and, surprisingly, the dye scent isn’t as strong as other brands. Other brands tend to have a strong chemical smell which makes my eyes water and nose tingle when breathing it in.

Clairol have done a great job at producing a hair product with a low scent. One of the best things about Clairol’s nice n’ easy hair dyes is the short processing times. Unlike other brands that have a processing time of upwards to an hour to reach your desired shade, these dye have an average processing time of just 25 minutes.

The short processing time means you can dye your hair during your lunch break, before a night out, or before a date, without it taking up too much of your time. The rinsing process is also quite a smooth and easy process.

After applying some warm water, give your hear/head a little massage and then rinse until the water runs clear from all the dye. It normally takes around two minutes for the water to run clear. Then using the conditioning Clairol conditioning treatment that comes with the hair dye, you apply from roots to tips and leave for a couple minutes before rinsing.

The conditioning treatment has a lovely scent and is nice and thick. It’s almost like applying a luxurious hair mask. It glides onto the hair smoothly and evenly. After rinsing the conditioning treatment you can instantly feel how hydrated you hair feels.

Dying your hair often dehydrates it and your hair can feel a little worse for wear. Clairol’s hair dyes are gentle on your hair and the conditioning treatment prevents damage and keeps your hair hydrated and feeling lovely.

After towel-drying my hair, I blow-dried my hair until was dry. Looking in the mirror you could instantly see how vibrant and lovely the hair colour result was, and it looked and felt really healthy.

I am always so very impressed with the results every time and I often get compliments from friends and family members. As my hair grows fairly quickly, I use this product every 2-3 months to help cover grey hairs.

Despite dying my hair so regularly, my hair has remained healthy and manageable, and hasn’t compromised my hair in any way. The only downside I can mention is that the dye stains your skin. Normally hair spray or acetone on a cotton ball or cotton pad helps remove hair dyes from skin but I found this dye to be lot stronger and barely budged from the skin.

I also tried scrubbing with soap and dishwashing detergent but the dye only faded slightly. It took a few days of scubbing before the dye faded completely. The best thing of all about Clairol’s Nice n’ Easy hair dyes are they cost just $9 from your local supermarket.

Sometimes, you can grab them on special for just $6! SIX BUCKS! Now that’s what you call a bargain! Why pay $200+ t an expensive hairdresser when you can get almost the same results for just $9.

I received Medium Chestnut Brown as part of the review crew. My hair is dyed medium brown over grey/white and is a few inches below my collarbones. It’s fine and flat with a slight wave immediately after air drying but this falls out quickly, it’s also horribly frizzy.

I found the instructions easy to follow and the dye easy to use although I did find I’d missed some areas which is unusual for me. I was using this on about 1 inch of grey roots, apart from where I’d missed it covered it well although it’s lighter on those grey areas and the other areas are now darker.

This means my roots are still visible although not grey and it would be good if the colour guide also showed the outcome on grey or white hair. I don’t usually see the roots so evident with other home colour I’ve done.

However the colour on the roots is nice and I might keep using this to get all my hair to a lighter colour. I didn’t notice that the smell was better or worse than other brands I’ve used and I had no adverse reaction on my scalp.

I wasn’t able to see a blend of tones and highlights although I did like the colour on both the grey and dyed areas. My hair felt soft after using and easy to comb. After a few further washes I’ve not see much fade or loss of condition.

Overall this Is a good dye for home colouring with good grey coverage although I feel I need to be more attentive when I use it. It’s a good price too.

As the cost of everything rises I have gone down to bi-monthly hair visits and have been colouring my roots in between. I have stuck to two main brands the past year so I was excited to trial clairols Nice n Easy to see how it compares! The new packaging is pleasing and clear on what it delivers.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the scent wasn’t overbearing whilst I applied this to my roots. It mixed very well in the applicator bottle and was so easy to apply. The gloves fit well and I waited the appropriate time until rinsing off.

The colour rinsed off well and the conditioner was lovely. I decided to let my hair air dry for the best and most accurate review on colour, shine and coverage of greys. So the colour match was great, it definitely covered my grey roots and my hair was a little dry on the ends but nothing a good leave in conditioner can’t fix! I like that this dye did what it said and was not gimmicky or over priced compared to competitors.

A solid budget buy option if you prefer colouring hair at home. It may dry your hair out if used frequently so a good quality conditioner for coloured hair would be a must alongside this product.

Depending on what type of hairstyle you prefer, these might just be perfect for you; I prefer fades/blends so this review is focused on my experience performing those. If you follow Youtube guides using these very clippers you will do a good job (after 3+ attempts) – not barbershop quality but, honestly, no one has called me out on the jobs I’ve done on my own hair.

I have absolutely no issues with the clippers/hardware but it’s the guards that prevent me from giving this a 5-star review. The guards don’t come in 1/2 sizes between 1 and 2 so you cannot create the seamless blend easily.

You will either have to stretch your scalp skin or be daring and skillfully use no guards. If not, you will see a faint line where any fade (or any transition point) should occur and it will irk you.

Another knock is that the trimmers are not sharp or powerful enough to create a crisp lineup. I would suggest getting a quality trimmer if you are chasing perfection. Overall, if you are not chasing perfection then with this package you will give yourself a decent haircut; you won’t look barber-shop fresh but looking like I’m about 4-5 days from a barbershop haircut meets my needs (and has saved me hundreds!!).

Im not reviewing the. I’m reviewing the Wahl 100 Year Anniversary Limited Edition 1919 clipper that is in my picture. My wife and kids gave me this for Fathers Day a few years ago and I couldn’t have been happier.

This cordless/cord clipper is the best one Wahl has ever made. I’m not even sure if you can even find it anymore. This baby is heavy duty! It’s so much heavier than any clipper I’ve ever used. It has a high carbon steel blade and an all metal housing that will last forever.

I had my last Revlon hair determination for over 7 years and I loved it. It just now started to change power levels by itself and acts strange so I wanted to buy a new one this new green hair dryer it great! It dried my medium thick shoulder length hair fast.

It’s not super loud and it’s lightweight to hold. I used the concentrator attachment with a brush too and it works. i highly recommend this budget friendly dryer!.

I received this eva-nyc purple shampoo for blinde hair courtesy of Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion/review. I have fine blonde hair (color treated blonde) that is shoulder length. My hair holds onto a lot of yellow/orange/copper ish colors if I do not tone and/or use blonde shampoo and conditioner regularly.

I have been using g this blonde shampoo for the past few weeks approximately 1-2 times per week. This shampoo has a very citrus-y smell to it. I find the consistency to be thinner than other purple shampoos I’ve also recently used.

It is a very deep purple color very similar to other blonde/purple shampoos I have used, as well. If you apply the shampoo and leave it site for a good 5-10 mins before lathering it up, it will provide you with some minimal toning to your blonde, and help keep that copper tone out of your hair.

Comparing this to some other higher end purple shampoos I have used, this one does have to remain on your hair much loner to achieve that toned natural/silver-ish tone us blondes are striving for on the daily.

I think this shampoo is worth the decent price for someone who wants to try a purple shampoo, if they’ve never tried one as of yet. but, when comparing it to higher end purple shampoos, I do not prefer this one.

If we are comparing to drugstore purple shampoo, this eva-nyc is superior to the ones I’ve used in drugstore, especially for the pricing. so, I would recommend to those who prefer drugstore shampoos, and to those who do like a citrus smell.

My hair is a bit brassy these days as I go very long periods of time between coloring. Pretty much anywhere between 6 months to a year. Coloring damages your hair so when I do get it colored I’m sure to maintain its color for as long as possible.

I do this by using a shampoo that diminishes brassy color tones. I received this @evahairnyc to test on my hair and after trying it out for a few days I do see a my hair being slightly brighter. Also, it didn’t turn my grays blue like some toning shampoos do.

The fragrance is light that you almost don’t smell it but for the sack of giving you a description of the fragrance it’s slightly herbal like and herbal tea fragrance. But like I said very slight and I could only smell it while washing.

So if you are sensitive to smell this one is a good one to get. The color of the shampoo is very deep purple and shinny. The condition is also a deep purple. Meant to cool toned blonde hair that’s bright, shiny, and soft.

I’m beyond excited to have received this product for free from Influenster and Eva NYC. I’ve been bleaching my hair for 10 years; that’s a lot of damage. And for the past year now I’ve been looking for a good purple shampoo/conditioner that would actually deliver the results that the brand promises; but to no avail.

Well finally, my search is over! Because EVA NYC tone it down purple shampoo and conditioner has been the only brand/company of purple shampoo/conditioner that I have used in the past year to actually fulfill everything the bottle says it would and more! Plus it’s sulfate free and made with only the best of the best! Upon receiving this product, I decided to really put this purple shampoo to the test, too see if it could really help get rid of the yellow/brazzy tones.

So thankfully it was about that time for me to touch up my roots anyways. so I went ahead and bleached my hair and didn’t use or apply any toner afterwards. I only used this shampoo and conditioner. And me tell you! From the high pigmented purple color of the shampoo, to the soft but amazing smell; it only took 3 pumps of this shampoo too lather up my thick, long hair! After rinsing I followed with the eva nyc tone it down conditioner and OMG!!! HOLY SOFTNESS! This shampoo and conditioner not only left my hair feeling so soft, clean, and amazing, but my hair also had shine too it! but the best part about it all is that it really did take out most of the yellow/brassy tones that I always get in my hair after bleaching and without using toner.

This is definitely my new favorite purple shampoo and conditioner hair care product and I have already purchased my next bottles. I definitely recommend! You need to purchase it right now and don’t even look around or second guess it.

I have long thin straight oily hair and using this shampoo made my hair feel super clean and light. I had to double cleanse with the shampoo to make sure I washed all of it but it didn’t feel like I had to use a lot of product to accomplish this.

I skipped conditioner as recommended and followed up with the K18 leave-in molecular repair hair mask. After my hair dried, I noticed that my hair was much softer and smoother but I can’t say that the mask worked better with the shampoo than without as I have been already using the mask in my hair care routine for the last 2 months.
