20 Best Hair Product For Static (2023 Updated)

I’ve been waiting to write this review, because I wanted to test this spray out in a variety of weather conditions; sunny to rain. Now that I’ve done that I have to say that the guys at Hair Craft have nailed it with this one.

The competition was stiff – I have another spray that I really like and have purchased a number of times. But because I love Hair Craft’s Clay above all others, I decided to give this a try. I would describe this spray as being the most likely actual “sea air/water texture†than any other I’ve tried.

It adds fullness and just a little hold. And the unexpected thing that this spray also does is activate the waviness in my hair – something that I love about actually being at the beach. My hair is naturally wavy (big loose waves), but other sea salt sprays tend to make my hair straighter.

That is because most of them have a number of the same ingredients as hairspray, only diluted. That also means that those sea salt sprays don’t play well with other products (like the Hair Craft Clay) They tend to get sticky or “gum up†when I tried to finish my style with clay.

Hair Craft’s sea salt spray works beautifully with the rest of the Hair Craft line. I finish my style with a little bit of the clay (which is so concentrated that I always add a drop of water and work it together to dilute it a bit).

The look holds all day, yet I can run my fingers through my hair to quickly reshape or restyle it if needed. From a value/price standpoint, it is on par with the other one I was using. So the verdict is in.

I’m switching to Hair Craft.

Thoroughly impressed with this stuff. It smells great and gives my hair just the right amount of hold while keeping a ‘natural’ feel. Easy to apply and style, my go to for day to day hair product. For a quick anecdote, I used to be just like all of you reading this review.

Similar to finding the Holy Grail, a strange light seemed to illuminate around the paste, already foreshadowing it’s outstanding quality. I quickly went to applying the recommended dosage, fingers surfing through my hair as if I found the best wave of the Mavericks surf competition.

After some work with a comb and fingers I looked to the mirror to find the perfect reason to bust in a movie quote. My hair now looked similar to that of Fergie and Jesus. If the point hasn’t gotten across yet, this product has far surpassed all of my expectations and will be the only thing touching my golden locks from this moment on.

Scent, hold, ease of use. I can go on forever. So, don’t be complacent and be an average joe. Go be a Fergie / Jesus combo and show everyone you have the best hair on the block. 12/10 on the product scale.

I ´ve been seeing a ton of ads on instagram around a powder in your hair for more volume. Decided go with this one glad I did. The first time I used it, I poured a little too much in my hand and I could feel the volume and matteness a little too much.

So the next time I started with a dime size of powder and shuffled into my hair. Boom. This literally ignites your hair instantly, with volume and texture. A little does go a long way and gives my hair the matte look I love.

Smells amazing too. I did notice when I got the package the powder was a little out of the jar, but not a big deal as there ´s 1 ounce of powder in this jar compared to the others barely having any. Washing out, make sure to add hot water and shampoo and conditioner.

Highly recommend for guys who are looking for more volume and thickness. My wife loves my new look!.

In honor of No Shave November I decided to go from October to present without shaving my beard; which was the longest time I’ve gone without shaving in my life. The new beard life style was difficult so I started off with some beard balm that lightly helped.

I was scanning through Amazon and decided to try this product; and I’ve been nothing but extremely satisfied with the result. Very simple and non-messy application process. I have never had my beard be this silky smooth in my life.

Great, high quality product that I’d highly recommend to all my fellow beard growers and No Shave November Participants! (Peter).

I try lots of products, I’m always look for the next best thing. So when I found this product I was excited to use it, because what it claims to do. It does give you the matte finish and it definitely is a medium hold, does it last all day ? No, at least not in my hair.

But my biggest complaint is how hard the wax is, it’s pretty difficult to get it out of the jar and then emulsifying it between your hands is always an exercise, and it simply shouldn’t be like that.

I’ll continue to use it but I won’t waste money, but will I buy it again ? No. Decent product. Hopefully they fix the hardness of the wax.

i’ve been looking for the perfect hair product and this one came close. The product is hard to spread because it is very dense. After using several times, i often will get fly aways that will arise after i have applied product.

A little hairspray would probably help, but i feel like using one product alone should be fine. I do like the non-shiny appearance and the ability to touch up my hair with water if some hairs come out of place.

I think making the product less dense would make it better. I also like that it doesnt make my hair super stiff. Overall i’m happy with product, but think it could be better.

I have fine to normal, virgin dirty blonde to light brunette hair. My hair tends to be super frizzy and my baby hair has a mind of its own. I purchased the Hydraglow shampoo and conditioner and I’m having an amazing experience with the two products after a few weeks of using it, but I needed just a little bit more help with my hair’s frizziness issue.

After taking Brad’s hair quiz, the quiz recommended me to use Viper Smoothing oil to help with the friziness a little bit more. I use this after my shower when my hair is still damp. I normally air-dry my hair since I, admittedly am too lazy to blow dry my hair.

But after using this product, I noticed a huge difference in my hair. I’ve been looking for something like this for the longest time to help my hair and Brad is like the fairy godmother that I need and he heard my wishes and gave me exactly what I need for my hair! My hair has really calmed down from the frizziness.

I use the viper smoothing oil on days where there’s a lot of humidity outside, or for when my hair just decides to not cooperate with me. When my hair is dry, I can’t stop touching my hair and feel how soft and smooth it is! Using Brad’s hair products have gotten me excited about styling my hair and doing cute things with my hair again.

This product has changed my life, confidence and appearance. I am able wear my thin hair in a longer, elegant style. I don’t have to wash it as often as it now sits away from my scalp and stays looking good longer without constant styling.

I ally in sections to the roots along the entire front, then rub a small amount into the rest.

I have fine, short hair. After trying other styling products I discovered KMS Hairplay Molding Paste, and have used it for years. It is a fantastic product, and a tiny amount is enough to define my hair style without having a stiff mess.

This makes it very economical to use as well.

I bought all the best mens hair products and compared them all, I will first say i’m biased towards hard muk because i’ve been using this product over 10 years and this has the best hold out of all mens hair products closely followed by uppercut deluxe clay.

For my dry hair type I love how this has some shine to it, but for others that may be it’s downside. The finish isn’t matte but the hold is the best you can get. The texture is perfect, the smell is amazing.

This is the best hair product for my hair type, but against other hair products this came in about 4th place and the only reason was because the finish wasn’t as matte as some others like savage muk, uppercut deluxe clay and hanz de fuko claymation.

However this had the best hold out of them all. This product still has a special place in my heart and it’s still #1 in my eyes.

I’ve been using hard muk for over 15 years. Whenever I was unable to find it (and sometimes just to mix it up), I would try other products, but none came close. And I have ordered it online wherever I was in the world.

I once showed it to a friend, who said it smelled like something you could eat, and I couldn’t disagree. The touch and feel are great, and it holds up excellent until you’re ready to wash it out, which is when it simply washes out.

Great product all in all. I can’t see how it could get better.

I started buying Biolage shampoo & conditioner abt 15 yrs ago, actually all of my professional hair care products. I like to switch products from time to time & have several brands. I used to buy jumbo bottles of shampoo & conditioner from the grocery store & use handfuls of shampoo & cond.

I was having my hair done one day, my first foil, & the stylist only used abt a capful & the shampoo she used smelled so good, it was Biolage. I asked her abt only using a very small amt & told her what brands I had been using & having to wash my hair e’day because it seemed oily.

It turns out that my hair wasn’t oily, I was using so much shampoo that it wasn’t getting completely rinsed out & then to add a handful of cheap cond on top of that & trying to rinse all of that out was making my hair seem like it was dirty, my hair wasn’t oily, it had so much buildup from heavy, cheap shampoo & conditioner & it was heavy from not rinsing out all of the cheap, heavy products I was using! Now I use a very small amt & I only wash my hair abt every 3 days.

I had to write abt this because I was reading reviews that said this “Biolage” shampoo &/or cond made her hair “greasy!” I’m repeating myself now but using a capful, I’m not measuring it but I know the right amt to use & my hair rinses clean, the cond makes my hair so soft & it also rinses clean & smells soooo good! I’m so glad I went in to get highlights that day 15 yrs ago & learned how to use professional products & my hair looks & feels better than ever.

Now when I go in to have highlights they use dif shampoo & cond & still only very small amt & sometimes I’ll ask abt the product that they’re using & my stylist has the knowledge to tell me abt what she’s using.

I have really tight curls and I color my hair – I really gave this a try when I could not find the product I’ve used for years. I used 3 bottles. My hair can be very similar to my skin in that it’s just sensitive.

My problems with this conditioner are (I’m fairly certain) related 100% to my curl type. I could not get my fingers through my hair when I applied the conditioner – this is pretty unusual and I am not sure why.

It felt as though this dried my hair out or would just not allow it to hold any moisture, I started seeing a lot of frizz where I had not before. This did not affect my color – so high marks for that! There are definitely products that fade hair color and quickly.

I did not have that problem with this conditioner. I’d say – if you have straight or wavy hair – give this a try. if you have tight curls – I would not recommend it.

Seriously this product is different I didn’t know what to expect. My routine is if I’m going to wear my hair curly which is my natural hair, after I’m out of shower I’ll ring my hair to get moisture out and just run my fingers through with the glaze lotion.

It doesn’t leave it sticky nor tacky and stiff, its a lotion but only for your hair so it traps in the moisture and leaves it manageable for me to later style. After air dry it for about few minutes I’ll apply the curl style cream.

Those two together are like magic to my hair, my curls are loose and full. This doesn’t leave it weighing my hair down, a big plus is that it helps tame frizz. I live in Texas and the weather here is crazy so I like that with that duo of products in my hair I don’t have to worry about getting poofy or looking like mufasa at the end of the day lol.

This product came highly recommended, and I was really looking forward to trying it. Unfortunately, the reality has proved to be somewhat disappointing. I have very fine hair that tends to look limp and frizzy without styling products, so I tend to use medium to high hold products that still allow me to play around and adjust throughout the day.

My hair is also black, so I naturally gravitate towards matte finish products, as anything else just looks oily. What I found with the Sculpting Clay is that it does not provide enough hold for me to achieve the style I want, does not provide the lift I want for achieving volume, and despite being a clay, it looks and feels greasy in my hair, probably due to the addition of the bees wax.

For the price I paid for this product, there are several other (and in my mind, better) products out there that work much better, and at the same or similar price points. Hanz de Fuko Claymation and Redken Rough Paste come to mind, with both products able to deliver better hold, better volume, the ability to rework your style, and a more matte finish.

Sorry, Mr. Pomp, but this is a total miss for me. Upside: It smells nice?.

I have found multiple uses for the Sculpting clay. It spreads very evenly and has a nice hold. I have fine hair and is great for natural looking styles. I also use it in conjunction with Natural Beeswax where I use the Beeswax on top then smooth the sides with Sculpting Clay for hold without the sculpted look.

Finally, it helps with adverse weather. On a trip to Florida it was hot and humid (as Florida is) and when I got out of the shower my hair was fluffy. Basically flying all over the place while still wet.

I used just a little Sculpting Clay in my towel dried hair and got control back. I could then dry and style regularly with Beeswax.

I’ve been looking for an alternate product to use for a combover whenever my hair gets too long for a faux-hawk and I’m lazy to get a haircut right away to maintain it. So far, I’ve been using the product for a week and I’m impressed on how soft my hair feels after using this product and even more impressed with the smell of the product.

IMO the Moroccan paste smells a lot better than the beeswax which says a lot since the beeswax already has a very pleasant smell. As the product states, it does leaves a good amount of texture to your hair which compliments my hair whenever I do a combover and only has medium hold in comparison to the beeswax.

However, I feel I do not need a lot of product for my desired hairstyle and hold plus the product easily washes off when you take a shower. That said, when my hair is shorter I do prefer using the beeswax as it has a stronger hold throughout the day.

Overall, I would highly recommend at least trying this product as it is pretty versatile for medium length hair.

I first used this last Xmas my hairdresser kindly bought me Wella reflections oil as Xmas present it’s the best hair oil I’ve ever used it’s so light and not greasy at all. I use each time I wash my hair and several times between washes to just smooth it down I just run a small amount through the ends of my hair with my fingers a little goes a long way I’m just running out now and it was just a 30ml bottle.

! I’ve ordered the 100ml bottle now it really makes my hair feel so smooth and silky and smells lovely. My hair tends to frizz up in damp weather but using this prevents that. I would definitely recommend this oil.

This stuff right here!!! So my hair dresser recommended it but I was hesitant to spend the money so I figured I’d try a less expensive option first. So I bought some $7 Moroccan oil and it worked well but I couldn’t stop thinking about this one.

So I decided to treat myself and I am so glad I add this to my hair care. After the first use I noticed a difference. I’ve been using it for two weeks now once I get out of the shower I apply it to my wet hair concentrating on the ends working it into the rest of my hair.

After it’s so way to brush and once it drys!!!! OMG, the softest. I will definitely be keeping this in my routine.

Ive been using this since my hairdresser put some on my head. The thing is its usually quite expensive and the best place to find it for a better price is here on eBay and the quality is excellent. Probably the best smelling product youll ever put on your head.

Leaves your hair very shiny, tangle free and with extra body. I would say go for it!.

The blueish purple cream leaves my hair pliable and shiny but still with some hold. never board stiff, dull or crunchy. As a bonus, toward the end of the day when the wind has blown my curls, I can just use a little water on my hands to re-scrunch and refresh my style.

I only need a small amount so the bottle lasts a while. Best product I’ve found for my curly/wavy natural style – I love it. Note to the manufacturer — Please promote and market this product so others will know what a great styling cream you have created here! I hope it is around for a long time.

Awesome product for your hair. Use it just after you have towel dryer your hair. Put a dime size on your hand and run through your hair and then style! For some reason it is hard to find this product in Canada now.

Had to have it shipped from the States, but totally worth it!.

This product is good for fine/thin hair. It adds volume and density — making it look almost “normal.” I’ve used it for about 12 years now.

This is about the product not the person I’ve bought it off, they are fine. The paste feels like I’m rubbing paste for grout in my hair. And hair feels like it. Very drying and nasty!! Absolutely awful stuff.

And sadly it didn’t keep my hair in place Smells bad, feels dirty and doesn’t do anything for my hair. When I went to brush it out, my hair was like winter’s hedge! Maybe it really is grout paste hidden inside!.

So won’t be buying again. Will stick to companies I know well and that have products that care for my hair.

I have used this for more than 2 years now. Provides a great hold and just the right amount of shine. It does hold your hair stiff, but does not give that ultra stiff and stick like feel that you get from Gels.

Which is great for me. Tip: Ensure you rub is thoroughly in your palms before applying and do not apply too much of it in a single area, try to brush them with your fingers.

I have very thick wavy, unruly hair that has to be thinned by my barber to be manageable. I have gone through countless products that seem to work at first, but as the day wears on my hair inevitably shifts out of place.

This product is amazing and I wish I had tried it sooner. My hair stays manageable all day, and the smell is fantastic.

Tried this product right away and instantly loved the smell. Reminds me of a candy scent but not too strong as I am usually averse to strong scents. The consistency is thick so a few pumps would do. I applied it over my dry hair and tamed the frizz I got from diffusing my curly hair.

My hair is so soft and not floofy. I’d be using it next time on semi dry hair and see if its better. Also used this in conjunction with the milk spray for heat protection.

I cannot give this more stars bc it’s not allowed this is my first review on a product, I was literally going bald…. Like I started to panic, bc I even went to doctor and all my exams came good as I am healthy.

I was using monat products and it thin my hair so bad it was just falling everyday and at any place. While shipping a lady at target was packing her cart with two of each product so I got closed and she was telling her friends about which target in Orlando fl, had it available, I honestly had to ask her about it since she sounded so confident she made me buy the oil, shampoo, and mask, Two months later with consistency I saw results and baby hairs all over started to come out along with my front line growing back again this is amazing, im on my third bottle of oil, my hair is silky, shiny and noticeable growing, the shampoo is amazing a little pump goes a long way and my hair feels refresh, the mask is a life saving, it gives that silky feeling that doesn’t wear out after days of not washing or leaves me oily.

This is amazing, I recently got the rice serum and it does amazing on my split ends. I’m so grateful for this brand. My hair looks AMAZING AND HEALTHY! My hair is not curly, is freeze and is getting thick back again.

My hair is also colored and it seems not to give that orange brassy color after use. Months 3-5 picture below my hair is loving this Rosemary products and the rise serum.
