There are a few different hair products that can be used for men with short hair. A pomade can be used to add shine and hold to the hair, while a wax can be used to add texture and definition. For a natural look, a light hold gel can be used to control frizz and flyaways.
20 Best Hair Product For Men With Short Hair
1. Men’s Hair Styling Cream by Forte – Medium Hold | Looks Natural | Adds Volume & Texture to Fine/Thin Hair – 3 oz
Argan oil: nourishes your hair with fatty acids for hydrated hair.
The Forte Series Styling Cream is a lightweight, medium-hold hair styling product. The creamy, velvety-smooth texture ensures effortless application with a natural finish. Enriched with biotin, aloe vera, and argan oil, this water-soluble cream will leave your hair feeling stronger and healthier after each use.
There was a hole in my hair styling regimen. I had pomades that either have quite a high degree of “obvious” hold (not something I like to use every day), or more of an everyday cream that can’t hold up against strong winds (great, however, for low-maintenance applications).
The Forte Styling Cream sits right in the middle — it’s strong without feeling overly formal, yet not so light that I can’t rely on it through the course of a workday where I may have to step outside, whether it’s windy or not.
It also allows me to get my hair into a shape that I like without too much effort. The shine is truly natural — some matte products make your hair look as dry as straw.
לא רשמתי I do not regret buying it, it is pleasantly soft and gives an airy texture to the hair, pleasant and fun to touch the hair. I said he solves problems, so yes he solves, lately I found out I have a probationary period and I am pressed for time so after a good shower Using your conditioner and shampoo, I put argan oil and then the styling cream, this substance already gives a grip to my hair that I can just style my hair with a hair dryer in 2 minutes and run for a test! Just amazing, thank you so much!.
Natural, matte finish – no shine Strong hold that lasts all day Washes out with most shampoos Signature Suavecito scent Pack of two Firme Clay 4 oz cans. Firme Clay Pomade adds texture, definition, and hold without leaving hair feeling dry or stiff.
The matte formula makes for a more effortless looking style while still providing enough hold to sculpt hair into place. Clay is great for fine hair that struggles to hold a style, or short to medium hair that needs a little extra grip.
Shame on me but I got a bit mislead on the packaging. I was under impression each 1oz. is resealable, it is definitely not. These show up in sample bags. I’m glad they have a lot in them but it’s tough to travel with these smaller sized bags that cannot reseal.
I bought these because they are TSA and international travel compliant. If they could make a resealable 2oz. I would definitely buy more!.
I have tried light, medium, and firm hold Suavecito pomades. What is different about the light version is the smoothness and ease of spreadability. It is by far the easiest to apply and blends and spreads into the hair almost instantly with ease.
The hold is good. There is less stiffness compared to the others which I like. Because it is so easy to apply and is so smooth I tend to use more of the product. I would recommend this product for fine to medium hair.
My only request is that I would like to see this product available in the spring, summer, fall, and winter fragrances. To my knowledge, it is only available in the original scent.
Not even gonna lie, it’s my favorite pomade! I love this stuff so much! It smells awesome, and looks great! I don’t use it every day since I like to experiment with my hair, but when I want a good clean look it’s great! After you warm it up in your hands it goes in smooth and works in well with a comb.
I find it stays good for 12 hours without much care, and it’s not expensive at all! It washes out good too, and I really love it! It’s something I keep coming back to, and something I really love!.
Maximise your hair’s potential with Hanz de Fuko Modify Pomade, a lightweight pomade with medium hold for styles that stay. Imparting a high shine, the pomade allows you to create defined looks without the grease with its water soluble, organic extract-packed formula.
Easy to work with, expect smooth, defined styles with light reflecting shine. Paraben free. Expert tip: To magnify holding power, leave the jar of Modify Pomade open overnight to help thicken and concentrate the formulation for maximum effectiveness.
Used to use this product about a year ago. while it is still good, it somewhat hardens in the hair- as you would expect from something like a water based pomade when before it would stay reworkable. It now has a minty toothpaste scent, I much preferred the old formula’s scent.
Still a good product, but don’t understand why HDF tried to fix something that wasn’t broken.
Pacinos matte is a men’s hair grooming paste with a medium hold and no shine that provide long lasting definition leaving the hair looking natural. Matte paste is ideal for all hair types including straight, wavy or curly.
Use this product to define your look while adding volume and fullness to the hair. Create classic and modern looks, such as the ceaser, the fohawk, the messy look, and many other defined natural looking hair styles.
Apply small amounts at a time evenly through damp or dry hair as needed to create your desired look.
I like the strong hold of the product. It allows you to create and maintain your style. Once dried though the product is sticky and you aren’t able to run your hands or comb your hair freely. The natural matte finish is my preferred style.
First time trying this product as the other hair product I used has become harder to find. This product smells good and holds my hair well. Only thing is, when they say “travel size” they mean it. This is smaller than the key fob for my car! And, given its price, holy moly!.
Old Spice spiffy high shine pomade, helps tame and shape your hair. This high shine pomade provides medium hold and high shine. Gives every hair type or cut a smooth, clean cut look. Achieve your hair’s true desire and give your style more man style with Old Spice high shine pomade.
Look your best and smell fresh with Old Spice Men’s 2in1 Shampoo and conditioner, body Wash and Deodorant.
I’ve been using this pomade for eight months and I love it! It glides out of the jar easily and works through your hair well. I also love the scent. It’s a fresh yet very mild scent. I also really like the matte finish.
It’s looks a lot more natural that a super glossy finish. The product may not have a super strong hold, but it definitely keeps your hair in place all day long. Overall, I think this is a really great pomade and I would definitely recommend this to others who are looking for a pomade.
When you want to look like a greaser, but less greasy and smell better This is way better than your grandpa’s morning application of left over bacon grease to get that flexible, but sophisticated look.
I was actually really surprised by how much I ended up liking this product. I typically don’t use pomades and lean a little more toward matte pastes that provide a maximum or medium hold. Spiffy pomade feels like a mix between a paste and a pomade.
Back in the day I used to use this pomade called Murphy’s that had a handsome gentleman sporting an afro on the lid. Murphy’s felt like hard petroleum jelly and left my hair feeling slick, greasy, and would drip into my eyes as it merged with my sweat to become stinging drops of perfume lard.
Spiffy pomade has been an entirely different experience. It doesn’t feel greasy in my hair, it keeps my hair in place, doesn’t seem too affected by sweat, is flexible and can be reshaped throughout the day, and smells amazing.
Unlike most pomades this product does not produce a shiny of slicked back look. It has a dry semi-matte finish, so if you want the slick greaser look then you might need to look elsewhere. For me this is a great solution if I want something with a softer hold.
The only thing I would like to see some improvements on is the ingredients used in this product. Old Spice is not natural by any means, so it has multiple synthetic ingredients and a couple of parabens.
Overall, I definitely would recommend this product for anyone looking for a flexible semi-matte hold. In full disclosure, I received this product complimentary for testing purposes, but the opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.
Inspired by the men in her life and her passion for styling hair, Jillian Dempsey created a travel-friendly hair pomade that gives you the perfect cool and piecey look. Best for use on short hair styles and to eliminate flyaways.
Get a cool, piecy look that emulates a day at the beach. Add texture and a medium hold with a buildable finish. Or, really get in there and warm a small amount of product by rubbing your hands together.
Work through hair until you’ve achieved desired texture and hold.
My son’s hair is constantly falling in his eyes. It drives me crazy. The roadie is super easy to use. It helps keep his hair to the side without looking like he has product in his hair. It also isn’t hard or crunchy.
It one product he will actually let me use on him. I am buying some for my husband and myself next. It is great!.
For longer hair, the “roll-on” stick isn’t the best. Maybe it will work better with short hair. I bought the jar too (the one that’s not the roadie) and that works better. It’s not necessarily the product, but the “roll-on” stick.
High hold grip Medium shine Certified organic extracts Paraben free This innovative new styling product provides high-hold with Super-Grip? technology for achieving any hairstyle imaginable with natural (medium) shine.
Love the Hanz De Fuko hair products as of lately. The Gravity Paste is pretty awesome – smells lovely – I honestly thought it would’ve had a more High Hold as labelled. found maybe it had a 85% hold.
like not everything stuck and molded how I wanted it to. But hey, it’s a great product and a great brand. When I buy the next batch, will go for the uber, ridiculously hard-hold one – forgot the name, but MASC have it.
Hanz de Fuko products are hands down the best on the market. I have been using them for years and have never switched up. The fact that not much product is needed means you can expect it to last a long time.
While the products remain on the “pricier” end of men’s hair products, it is for good reason. The gravity paste does the job – every time. The fact that it doesn’t “activate” until you run it in your hands is awesome and it provides the perfect hold with a medium shine.
The main ingredients are great too! You don’t have to worry about any damaging chemicals in a Hanz de Fuko product!! 10/10!.
I use the Hanz De Fuko gravity paste daily after washing my hair and it does the job perfectly. You only have to use a very small amount worked through dry hair to style it the way you want. You can also use a little amount of hairspray to give it extra hold all day long.
It washes out really easy and there’s no residue left in your hair at all. Highly recommended!.
Patrick’s personal favourite, M3 is a matte pomade that utilises both clay and wax ingredients, able to tame the thickest and coarsest of hair types, keeping even the biggest quiffs in place. Suavecito Firme Clay Pomade is just the styling product you need for creating strong hold styles with a no-shine, matte finish. This hair styling pomade is water reactivable, making it great for restyling and reshaping throughout the day.
It’s matte consistency creates a more effortless style with just enough hold to sculpt hair into place, making it perfect for textured pompadours, short styles and side-parts. Firme Matte Pomade is water soluble, so rest assured it’ll wash out easily without flaking.
It’s uniquely scented, masculine fragrance adds just the right finishing touch. Suitable for all hair types, this pomade is a great choice for fine hair that struggles to hold a style, or short to medium hair that needs extra grip.
I’m rating this purchase one star because the product has completely changed or the wrong product was shipped to me. I’ve been using Suavecito’s premium blends matte pomade for over 3 years and have always been more than satisfied.
I was running out, so I bought it again. However, when I received the product and used it a few times, it was obvious that the product was not the same. Instead, the product in the can has a different texture than all the other purchases I’ve made of this product.
Additionally, and worst of all, the product makes my hair look and feel greasy. I will need to find a new product.
I have really wavy hair and have a halo of frizz as new hair is unruly until it is long enough to be weighed down by its own weight. I use this stuff to hold the frizz down. I used to use a different product by a big name company that does animal testing.
I was so glad to find this product. It holds my hair down so well that I only need to use it every other day when I wash my hair. The other big name product needs replacement multiple times a day. This product does dry out with time (since I use so little of it.
) I find it lasts longer if I keep the internal plastic cover it comes with (I haven’t bought the new packaging yet so I don’t know if it still has that, though I would suspect so. ) I still use it until it’s gone, but I would also be okay tossing the old stuff just because this works so well AND there’s no animal testing.
I bought this cream the first time in Juni 2020. I was satisfied with it. The structure was pretty hard and not very easy to smear, but once it picked up the warmth of my hands, it spreaded well. Last April 2021 I bought 2 cans at once because the product was often out of stock.
Now the last month the consistency of the cream totally changed. It’s like bubblegum. (Maybe because of the warmer weather?) I can’t get it out of the can easily, I need to pluck it out. When I try to smear it, it just rolls into a sticky ball/thread, like bubblegum.
Impossible to get into your hair. Both other cans have the same bubblegummy consistency. Pretty disappointing , as I bought 2 cans and it’s not a cheap product.
I’m particular about my hair product, and though I found one I liked and used for a long time – just the right amount of hold and no shine – I wanted to try something that was formulated with as much natural ingredients as possible.
This nailed it. I still get the same hold as my other product, and the same no-shine look, but, without the unnecessary fragrance. Extra bonus – its available in a larger size, for less money. All around a win!.
Johnny B Extra Hold Pomade is great for all hair types. This hair styling product uses beeswax to provide a moderate hold that keeps your style in place without making your locks hard or crunchy. It works especially well for short hairstyles and provides protection from humidity to reduce frizz and keep hair smooth.
It gives your hair a shiny finish, perfect for a polished look.
I’ve never written a review of any kind here on ebay, but I just had to this time. I’ve read so many reviews about this product before purchasing it. I was looking to get the results of Johnny B Dope pomade with the shine that this product offers.
What a disappointment. You might as well stick with one of those Brilliantines like Three flowers or Blue Magic, seriously. You get that greasy finish and even the following day your hair is still greasy.
First, let’s talk about the hold. It’s pliable, low-to-medium hold is all about giving you the ability to shape and reshape your most handsome look. This formula-scented with the Coconut vibes of a tropical island-dries down to a low-shine finish which gives you the natural, textured looking style of a highly paid model.
Congrats. You can be amazingly man some and see barbershop-quality results thanks to the fact that Old Spice Styling products are inspired by barbers themselves. Run a little through your damp or dry hair, and you’re good to go.
I liked the packaging as it was easy to travel with and the color made it easy to find in my bag. In terms of its use, I had to use this product awhile to write an accurate review. I enjoyed the scent but took me sometime to figure out how to best use paste.
It doesn’t have much shine (personally I like more shine) yet its interesting to apply as its on the thicker side when integrating in hair. Even though my hair is on the shorter side, it does take time for product to move in hair and harder to disperse the thicker streaks/clumped product in section of hair.
This was more of light hold for most the day so I wished it held stronger. I also noticed that my hair became a bit oily when using and had build up that was harder to wash out. I would recommend making less tacky, little lighter, and more shine.
First off!!! I would like to thank Influenster for shooting me another VoxBox!!! Good looking out Influenster!!! Ok!!! Now back to the subject at hand!!! Hmmm!!! 🤔 This Old Spice Fiber Wax with Beeswax is a product I don’t use!!! But since Influenster took the time to send me this to try and review for absolutely free!!! I had to do my part in trying it out!!! So all I gotta say about this product??? Is that it’s a good product if your a man that uses fiber wax to style your hair then this right here is what you need!!! I have to say that I haven’t used any hair wax product since middle school!!! back then we used a hair wax called 3 flowers!!! it’s what we used to get all pimped out for the middle school dances after our Friday Night Home Football Games!!! Well I tell you what??? If Old Spice had this on the self back then??? Then it would be my first choice instead of 3 Flowers!!! This Old Spice Fiber Wax with Beeswax is alot lighter on my hair alot less lighter then 3 Flowers!!! By that I mean to say that less wax grease on your hair!!! With the same if not more holding strength then 3 Flowers!!! I recommend this product to them Men that use hair wax products!!!.
I’ve used regular hair gel for many years now (typically something like LA looks) and have been overall content with it. But, using this hair wax has been a fun experience and I am looking forward to using it in the future.
It holds really well and doesn’t have any of the crusting that I’ve faced with gel in the past. At the end of the day my hair remains in a similar position and I’ve been very pleased with it. This does add a small amount of shine to hair so that is something to consider but overall, I am very pleased with the experience.
The smell is quite desirable as well so that’s a plus. Definitely worth a shot in my opinion to try and see how it works for your hair.
Separates, defines and molds your hair. Provides a matte finish. Provides a strong, long lasting hold on men’s hairstyles. Baxter of California clay pomade, infused with natural ingredients. Formulated for a strong, pliable hold all day.
After using this product for over a week now, I can say that I’m satisfied with the end result. The finish of the product varies based on the amount I use from(from matte to mid shine) as my hair are thin & very smooth.
using the perfect amount everyday is they secret to the perfect look. Although I would suggest to people with thin hair to use a pre-styler before this clay in order to get the best possible outcome.
I am on the fence with this clay pomade. On short styles, it can add some texture but it has a weird kinda greasy texture. My hair is pretty wavy and very thick so once I started to get length, it had issues keeping my modern pomp held up.
This one also smells bad to me and it did not hold up well for the humidity/heat. I think there are better products – especially at this price point.
Cremo Hair Styling Cream Medium Styling, 113 g, Hair Pastes for Men, The hair paste Cremo Hair Styling Cream Medium Styling will become your irreplaceable tool for everyday hair styling routine. It will hold your hairstyle in place perfectly and will help you to shape it.
Characteristics: medium hold gives your hairstyle texture and shape quick and easy application remains flexible throughout the day gives hair shine doesn’t make your hair feel stiff How to use: Avoid contact with eyes.
If the product comes into contact with your eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of water.
This is my first foray into pomades, and I was braced for something between a hair oil and the crunchy gels of the 80s. I was pleasantly surprised to find Cremo delivered something far better. This pomade is a solid hold, especially when worked through do hair, and it holds for 24 hours, if not longer.
I’ve been able to mist water on my hair and comb it back into place after sleeping for a second day’s hold. It doesn’t have a strong smell, which is great — nothing to compete with my aftershave and cologne.
I have 3a/b curly hair, ringlets with big volume and I thought I’d never be able to wear my hair straight without using a straightener religiously. And with this product alone, I can wear my hair slicked back and mostly straight in a Peaky Blinders cut.
That’s the kind of hold Cremo delivers, and I’m a convert for life. (Or at least until I change my hair style. ).
I received this #freeproduct through #tryitwithtopbox. My husband has been using it for two weeks now and loves it! It has a light scent – nothing overwhelming and is easily workable. He is able to rework his hair later in the day and his hair never becomes sticky or crunchy feeling.
I’ve even found a use for it – I use a clean spooly and use it to shape my eyebrows and tame flyaways! Be mindful that there is a slight shine to this – which I definitely don’t mind if I’m going for a sleek ponytail and my husband actually prefers this for himself too.
I’d definitely reccomend this product as you get a lot of product for the price and the packaging looks like something from a barbershop!.
This hair putty gives men hair that stays in place yet malleable. Have you ever jumped out of the window of a skyscraper shortly before it exploded and had a USB stick with the master key code? Have you then reviewed the debris field with city planners to build a park on the spot and then realised that your hair looked pretty good after all the stress? If so, you could be ready for the Old Spice Putty for men.
Apply a small amount in your hands and massage into wet or dry hair for a wild look.
Saw that people got this as a complementary sample from INFLUENSTER a while back and finally saw it on the shelves of no other than dollarama. I was hesitant to buy it from dollarama but there was absolutely no issue with the product.
It holds hair and is great fibre to hold hair up. My only criticism is that it does feel a bit waxy (which is does say it is) and that’s not the best feeling in my hair. Smell is great though. I recommend it!.
Background: I use a lot of products for my hair to style and I’ve tried different ones throughout but have always stuck with the same brand. I have medium length hair on too and style it in a pompadour like hair style.
Application: I apply when wet, lets me hair dry it afterwards to get my hair to go the way I want while also not leaving it feel super gel-like hard. When I first went to apply this product on my hands, it honestly felt like I rubbed it on my hands and it disappeared.
Be assured! It is still there! Have your hands a little bit damp for it to work great. I tried it with dry hair once but it was much harder to apply. Hold: It was great, I’ve been using it much more than my previous product and I see myself keeping up with it after I’m finished with the sample I was given.
It has a very easy flow and enough hold for it to be more natural. Overall: I think the product is great! I definitely recommend to others over other products. The smell isn’t overwhelming like some others.
Seven Potions Hair Styling Pomade 100ml Ensures your hair is detailed to perfection, always looking fresh and ready to tackle any task; well-polished men know that keeping their hair tame and in place is of the highest importance.
Offering a strong-hold that lasts all day and a desirable shine, this pomade is ideally used for pompadour, slick back, and side styles. How to use Rub a small amount of styling pomade between your palms for a few seconds and apply to clean, dry or damp hair.
I was a little skeptic after seeing it reviewed in an article online. I like to have a slicked back, peaky blinders style hair do and wanted some shine and plenty of lock. But without drying out and being unable to adjust it later down the line.
I’ve tried several products that have been well reviewed, but they didn’t suit my hair. Well, I am glad I tried this out! Finally, a pomade I can actually apply onto my hair (which is very thick) whilst dry and shape and style to better effects than if it is damp! I will be reordering again.
The smell is also very pleasant and not over powering. It won’t mix with your aftershave.
I’m in my forties and I have tried practically every mens clay product available (at all price points) For short to medium textured hair this clay is the best. Others I like include Baxter’s of California and Sumotech by Bumble Bumble.
Seven potions is better because it’s re-workable and natural all day/night. It holds up against humidity (Caribbean holidays) and it washes out with a single shampoo. Perfect product I hope never changes.
Okay I never right reviews, but I am blown away with the product. ( I keep reading that people find the smell not so pleasant I think it smells absolutely fine and havnt even noticed it as a issue) I find it hard to find a good hair product, and that’s not ever when considering looking for one that’s vegan! Honestly it’s the best hair product I’ve ever used! It is the perfect Matt ( doesn’t look greesy at all!) leaving the perfect amount of separation and texture in your first time, making it so quick and easy to style! This is hands down the best product I’ve used vegan or non vegan it wins hands down (gosh this review doesn’t sound real I’m raving so much about it haha) , congrats seven potion, you’ve gained another loyal costumer!.

I like this product and it does exactly what I need it to do. This was my first time to use this brand. My hair is complicated and can be an adversary at times. My hair used to be blonde, longer and soft when I was young and then it became coarser and my part moved from where I wanted it to be.
I still never needed to use hair products regularly – other than good shampoo. Now my hair is thinner and white and I like to keep it shorter (but not “short”). The top can have a tendency to be too flat and the sides (especially the rebel side) can spike out – both are problem areas that I need this hair product to “fix”.
It actually takes care of everything I want, has a dry look (without any change to color) and I like the scent (not medicinal and not feminine and more pleasant than overtly masculine – which I can live with).
Don’t need to use much and I wash my hair every day so I don’t have to deal with the fixing of my hair with the same product for a second day or after sleeping with it in. The scent is fine and I don’t notice it at all after I finish with creation and if I were to suggest changing it, I believe there are MANY more ways it could get worse instead of better.
I like that it can give the top hair some dimension and keep the side spikes in check for as long as I need it to.
I have reddish blonde hair and this makes it look dirty grey. It’s definitely matte as advertised, and that’s fine, but it makes my hair color look unnatural. My main problem with this pomade is the heavy stickiness; it’s largely wax by volume.
The first time I used it, I actually used less than I normally would a pomade, just to experiment with it. Even that modest amount (about the size of two small peas) was way too thick. Then washing it out required two thorough shampoos, and it still wouldn’t completely rinse out.
The second time I used it, I went with less than a pea-sized amount. Still too sticky, and my hair just looked dirty. Three stars for at least arriving on time and being a fair value. This just isn’t a product I can use.
This Firsthand pomade is pretty good. The odor is really pleasant, which is the best thing going for it, IMO. The pomade is pretty dry and you’ll need to apply it wet to get it to the roots, if that’s your style.
Also, it drys pretty quickly, so be sure to work quick on your style before having to re-wet any unfinished areas. The best way to use it that I have found is to apply it directly to your semi wet hair, straight out of the shower, and work quickly with your brush/comb.
If you want to sculpt more aggressively, blow dryer and hairspray are your friends. I use this pomade over my other brands mainly because of the pleasant light odor. The other pomades leave stronger, not so pleasant smells that bother me throughout the day.
This original hairdressing product has been styling men since 1928. Brylcreem Original gives strong hair and a healthy scalp and looks good on short, sharp masculine styles. Try applying to dry hair for a lighter gloss and hold.
For the iconic, swept-back look, try using a comb to keep hair looking smart.
I never used this stuff before although I was of course aware of it but then, a couple of years ago, I began to notice that my hair seemed to be drying out. Possibly a middle aged thing, but it had developed an unpleasant, strangely brittle feel, probably not helped by the fact that, working in the building trade, I have to wash it nearly every day.
A mate suggested Brylcreem so I tried it, and it really seemed to help. Not a miracle cure, but certainly an improvement. As one or two others have suggested, its best used sparingly. I put a small dab on one palm, about the size of half a grape, and rub my hands together, then I massage it through my hair for a minute or so before then brushing it through.
Ill never have the same thick, glossy, luxuriant mane I had as a young man, but the Brylcreem certainly seems to improve the feel and manageability of what I have left.
Brylcreem has been around for a very long time. My grandfather used it all his life and my late father used it occasionally too. I, myself, have been using this also for a long time and I think it is the best hairdressing product that I have ever used.
You only need a little dab of this to keep your hair looking tidy and it also gives your hair a nice, healthy, shine. I find that it works better on short hair, though, so I wouldn’t advise it for longer hairstyles.
It also washes out fairly easily, as long as you don’t use too much. You will probably need to wash your hair a lot more frequently when you are using this, though, to stop your pillowcases from getting too greasy.
I would still rather use this than gel or wax, though, as it doesn’t make my hair feel rock-hard. Anyway, this is a true grooming classic and I recommend it completely, though it may be more suitable for the more “mature” man, like myself.
I have looked in dozens of stores and none of them carries Brylcreem! That is the only product that my husband likes. The new stuff on the store shelves is horrible and he hates them. I ordered three big tubes.
My husband is thrilled. I also gave a tube to a man on hospice who also hated all the junk that is in the stores. He was thrilled to get his tube also. PLEASE don’t quit carrying this on the internet!.
TraduciMostra in lingua originaleI would not call this a semi-matte finish at all. More so a “damp” or towel dried finish. Clean Cut works best for those who want a light-medium hold. Great for a “messy” textured look.
(If you want a dry look, check out the Matterial for a dry textured finish. ) This will work best on straight to slightly wavy hair under 2 inches. Once applied, this is very sticky, so combing through it isn’t ideal.
As with most creamy paste products, it should be applied to dry hair only (towel dried at the wettest) – or you’ll be going through a can every two weeks.
TraduciMostra in lingua originaleI’ve used Mitch Clean Cut for four or five years now, as there are very few companies that make Cruelty Free International approved products, and unfortunately the Superdrug stuff is just sticky and doesn’t have great hold.
I have stiff wiry hair that my stylist despairs of, but Clean Cut tames it, and looks great. You don’t see any product in your hair, there’s no sheen or shine, it doesn’t flop through the day, so I can look smart for work all day.
It still looks good after riding to work in a cycle helmet, and a hand through it can perk it up if needed, and your hand doesn’t come out like flypaper. It’s genuinely the only styling product I will buy, and when I run out I always stress that it will be discontinued.
It’s been so hard to find, as fewer salons stock it now, and Paul Mitchell are great with their scare stories about finding aliens or sea life in their products bought over the internet. Mankind were great in reassuring me it’s genuine when bought from them, and were open at the weekend too.
And you can Give as you Live with your order too. Top stuff all round.
Lock your look in place with Old Spice Styling Putty. It’s made for the hair of man and won’t let you or your do down. Rub a small amount between your fingers and work it through damp or dry hair. Its high hold and matte finish work particularly well for short hair and spikier styles, like the forever fan-favorite the faux hawk.
Show off your manliest side when your throw off major vacation vibes with the fresh scent of coconut and tropical wood. That’s because Old Spice hair styling products for men are inspired by barbers and crafted for barbershop-quality results.
I have to admit, when I discovered that I would be receiving Old Spice products to review, I was skeptical. My only real impression of this company was the commercials from 70’s and 80’s and the very masculine scent.
That is not necessarily my vibe so I was coming in with an open mind, but I was definitely unsure. To say that I was proven wrong is an understatement. I could not pick my jaw up off of the floor with how impressed I am with this styling product.
The smell is gentle and a little goes a long way. It keeps my hair in place all day without making it crunchy or hard. I’ve been using this product for about a month now and I haven’t used anything other than this pomade.
I don’t use the term “holy grail product” often, but I definitely would put this in that category. I will ABSOLUTEY purchase this product. One warning, a little goes a long way. Start with less product and build up the coverage.
I used too much product early in my use of this product and my hair looked greasy and heavy. If you just err on the side of less is more, I know you will be in love.
This product has a very light scent if any, which in my opinion, is great! That way the shampoo/conditioner I use will still be the prominent smell for my hair. The product itself is a paste, and is just that.
Pastey. It kind of feels like creamy cake frosting for thickness/feel. It is easy to get out of the container and is easy to apply in hair. If you apply paste like I do (rubbing it all over your hands before putting it in your hair) it works great! It doesn’t cause my hair to clump together or get hard/crunchy (which I personally hate).
It holds and for the most part leaves my hair soft (as it was prior to use). I’m not particularly one to use hair styling products because most of them are to the extreme in making hair stiff or the other extreme of not doing much but still make hair greasy, but because I received this complimentary for testing, I gave it a try.
It certainly is one that I would buy for myself, but it wouldn’t be a daily use thing, because it’s not my cup of tea to use hair additives, but like I said, it is something I would use on special occasion to look extra nice.
I’m fairness to this review I’ve been wearing my hair longer for winter and usually don’t use taupe product at this length of hair BUT I tried it out. First, the texture is pretty cool. It’s not greasy, not sticky, not waxy like every other pomade or wax product I’ve used.
I like and need the firm hold but hate getting it off my hands. Not a problem with this. The texture is very unique and pleasurable. Not like the other stuff. It smells great and honestly smells different on the hair than in the tub.
And, as expected it held all day. It checks all the boxes. If I had one complaint it makes the hard pretty hard when it dries. I generally like to have the hold without the crunch and this product makes a pretty hard hold but if that’s what’s needed then it’s good.
Last big win is it washes out easily. If I had shorter hair I would use it.
As the best hair product for men with short hair will vary depending on the individual’s hair type, style, and desired look. However, some general tips for choosing a hair product for men with short hair include opting for a light-hold product to avoid weighing down the hair, choosing a product with a matte finish to avoid a greasy look, and avoiding products with strong fragrances that can be overwhelming.
