20 Best Hair Oil At Target (2023 Updated)

I truly have no idea how this has as many good reviews as it does. I have very curly hair that breaks often. This caused my scalp to have a buildup of wax like material that would get under my nails when I scratched my head (because of course it made it itch).

That has NEVER happened to me before, I felt so disgusting. It has a strange smell and just didn’t do anything for me at all, I wanted to like it so bad but it’s awful. It made my scalp so gross. Don’t buy, Mielle rosemary scalp & hair strengthening oil worked so much better for me and smells amazing.

I’ve been using Mielle products since 2015. During the Memorial Day sale this year, I decided to give this oil a try. I absolutely love it. It’s versatile can be used as a scalp oil, hot oil treatment, sealing oil….

It’s just a fantastic oil. The bottle size is larger than what you get from most oils. The only thing that I would prefer would be a bottle topper that allows for more control when pouring. This oil leaves my hair nourished and soft and will always be in my stash.

This product smells so good! There are no buildup residue and it keeps my hair shiny! I believe everyone should buy this product because it helps retain hair growth and smells great. I use this product 3 times a week and I really enjoys it.

I receive a lot of compliments on how my hair smells so good. I usually mix this product with the hair growth oil to achieve the thickness of my hair. I really enjoyed this product!.

I can’t say enough good things about this product. I absolutely love the Maroc in sleek oil treatment. My hair is so dry and damaged most times from being sick and having a lot of different medications that there’s not much to do for it.

I put this in after my shower while my hair is damp and I leave it in and then I style my hair and shine unmanageability is insane it is amazing. This alone has made my hair look healthy and I didn’t think that was possible again.

Leaves hair greasy and dry feeling m. Made my hair issues a lot worse! I’ll stick to regular Tea tree oil! Also the review for the leave in and shampoo. I was so hopeful that this would help combat the Candida overgrowth on my scalp and neck, sadly it did not.

It smells horrid (I’ll never understand why they don’t reduce the terrible medication smell), it leave your hair feeling like it has not been rinsed completely even after taking over 10 mins to rinse (my hair is very thin and brittle due to chemo), over all it did nothing more than add to my issues.

This does not leave the hair soft or com able but more dry and brittle. Even with the leave in conditioner in the same brand! Waste of money!! Thank goodness Sally’s has a 90 return, bc I will be returning it !.

My dermatologist prescribed oil which has salicylic acid (key ingredient for keeping psoriasis at bay for most people ) and it worked but it was just to expensive. 35 dollars each month. So I was looking all over for an alternative and finally found this was similar with other great oils that help keep the scalp healthy.

My psoriasis just kept coming back no matter what I did , but with one use , my psoriasis has not come back like it usually does with other products ! I’m now on day 3 without psoriasis after first use , this stuff is amazzzzingggggg.

I also been exercising while I have been using this. and for psoriasis sufferers, exercising is also a key to keeping psoriasis at bay, as it helps to decrease inflammation.

The product does exactly what it is meant to do, It helps flaking and itching scalp. I’m on my second bottle, nothing else as made the difference this has. I haven’t had to deal with painful scalp due to psoriasis since using this.

Also,this is not for all hair types. It even says that on the bottle. If you have finer hair, it will make it appear and feel oily, IT IS OIL, that is what it does. I don’t get why people are leaving negative reviews because their surprised the oil left their hair oily?.

The bottles comes in a pump now which I personally like better. I have coarse hair and saw something about this helping maintain frizz and help with hair growth. I started using this the night before I wash my hair (1x a week) and it’s changed my hair in so many ways.

My hair looks and feels so much healthier. I apply it all over my scalp and ends and sleep with it. (Yes it makes a little bit of a mess) but you could also wrap your hair if that worries you. It’s never stained any of my items.

I’ve used it on my cuticles and dry skin and think it’s a great staple item to have!.

This line is the best I’ve ever used. As long as the formulas stay the same I will always use Pantene Gold series. I have relaxed bra strap length hair and the shampoo, conditioner, leave on detangling milk and hair oil are all I need for soft, flowy, shiny, hair.

I wash my hair once per week and only have to remoisturize once midweek with a small amount of leave on detangling milk and oil. If you’re looking for moisturized hair that is not heavy look no further.

In my opinion, Pantene has been a horrible excuse for an industry-standard brand. Their basic old-school formulas leave film on your hair and simply don’t work. However, the Pantene Gold Series, sulfate free, is quite possibly the best line of products on the market for hydration, shine, and restoration of hair.

The detangling milk is the best anti-frizz detangler shine-inducing product on the market. I am so impressed with Pantene Gold Series that I will clear any store out of the kits and give them as gifts.

I am often met with women and men who have had the same amazing results. Use any one of the Pantene Gold Series Products and in some way, you will have restored your hair.

What made me fall in love this product was today my scalp was on fire after applying Camille Rose growth serum. I used the blueberry bliss oil and baby it calmed the storm. I still support Camille Rose because I use other products from her lines and have no issues just to be clear.

But, if you have the same issue this product may work better for your scalp issue.

I tried many things including castor oil. Nothing worked. But this oil! Within a month I saw new growth and 2 months later, my growth is much fuller and healthier. The oil smells nice and its light. I think that was the key, lighter oil and rubbing in twice a day.

Definite recommend.

I randomly saw this at a Safeway and thought ehh what the heck? And l tried massaging it into my scalp for about 15 minutes and my hair literally grew about an inch in one month. I now do these massage treatments about once a month and my hair is growing faster than ever! I highly recommend this product if you are tryinf to grow your hair out!.

I’ve used this a number of times. It does exactly what it says it does and makes my hair soft, shiny, and manageable. I love how my hair looks and feels when I use it. However, it comes with a nasty side effect.

As much as I love the smell of coconut, it’s simply overpowering when you use it on dry hair as a touch up for shine. It’s different when you use it on wet hair, but as a touch up the smell fills a room.

I’m currently sitting about ten feet away from someone who is able to smell it. Not only that, the scent takes about a half hour to tone down. This isn’t good for social situations or if you need to use it at work.

I like it, but I have found it’s not good for touch ups throughout the day. Use the Argan Oil Weightless Dry Oil spray for that since it’s not as overpowering and tones down much quicker.

When it comes to beauty products, I’m a high-end buyer. I decided to give this oil a try and am absolutely amazed at how good it is! It exceeded my expectations and is much better than many more expensive hair oils I’ve used.

I have long, thin, straight hair, oily scalp and dry ends. Lots of oils leave my hair feeling greasy, but not this one! It just absorbs perfectly. I also love that it comes with a spray, so I can just spray it on my lengths, comb through and I’m all good to go, no greasy hands either! I’ll be buying again! My only complaint is that the bottle leaked during shipping and arrived only half full.

Unfortunately, this item can’t be replaced online and I can’t be bothered going to the store to swap out a $6 hair oil. Next time I’ll just buy it directly in store!.

I use this after I wash my hair and before I dry it. It adds a lot of shine depending on how much you use. It doesn’t make my hair oily but then again I dont like to use it on top of my scalp. I do have oily hair so by the next day, my hairline will be a bit oily but im not sure if it’s this or the leave in conditioner spray I also use in combination.

I do like to use it more in my dry ends and middle section to hydrate and add shine. The scent has a coconut type of smell but has another scent in it that kind of smells like an herb that’s not too pleasant.

That’s the only con. Other than that, I like it!.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this scalp serum. I’ve never used one before, but had been seeing more and more people use them for hair and scalp health. I followed the directions and applied to dry hair.

I was surprised that it didn’t weigh down or affect my volume at all. Once I put it in and massaged it through my scalp, I couldn’t even tell I had done anything, which is a good thing. The most surprising effect that was totally unexpected, is that I think it helped my hair to stop falling out.

This is a terrific hair treatment formulated to use from the scalp to the ends of hair. I use this on wet hair as a leave-in treatment. It really takes away the dryness and protects my hair from breakage.

This is especially nice product because it doesn’t weigh my hair down at the scalp. My hair looks moisturized, healthy and soft. The product consistency is like a conditioning cream but it only takes a small amount.

It smells really good with cocoa butter and Australian macadamia nut oil and I love using it. The fragrance even works well with my shampoo and conditioner – it actually works and smells so good I would change my shampoo and conditioner if needed.

This it’s really does what it says and makes my hair feel great and look amazing.

My hair has a curl when it’s wet but seems to weigh down once it dry and combed out. I decided to try this curl activator. I have a lot of hair and had to use a good amount on the pump. I placed it on wet hair.

When it was dry I noticed the curls stay more defined and bunched together rather then a mess it is without it. I made sure I did not comb much to keep some of the wave. However, with some brushing It does weaken the curl.

The smell is decent and not overpowering nor is it too much like a chemical scent. There are some brands that can make me sneeze but not the AU 2nd Day curl activation. My hair also feels smooth after use but one should gage how much is good for their hair.

Overuse can leave a sticky film. This is a good curl activator but it’s not long lasting if you have heavy hair. It worked for my hair to about the earlier part of the day. I have not paired other hair products with this to see if the curls with be sustained for a longer time.

Overall this product works for the majority of they day and is worth a try.

I wish Aussie would specify that this product is for African-American, or natural hair that is 3c to 4c in texture. This is an amazing and affordable product for the right hair textures. Unfortunately, there are bad reviews from people with hair textures that this product is not best intended for.

I usually look for products for my hair that specify they are intended for African American hair. I somehow stumbled upon this product and I fell in love! It smells great, is inexpensive, and usually easy to find in plenty of retailers.

I am a huge fan! I use this product on my wet 4b hair and let it dry naturally for curly wash and wear. I will place this product on my daughters 3c hair while wet and blow dry straight. It is shiny and moisturized without being greasy, flakey or drying.

I love all Aussie products! They really focus on providing products that meet specific hair needs. I have dry hair that is long and naturally curly. I love my curls, but I hate frizz! I find the way to keep my hair frizz free is to use products that are targeted toward preventing that.

My! This coconut oil is a multitasker! I mix in some of my favourite essential oils like lavender, rose, sandalwood and lemongrass and use the oil after a shower. Sometimes I add a few spoons of this oil to the bath water.

Heaven! This works great on hair too. Makes it smooth and shiny. It is super clean too – doesn’t have any chemicals or additives. Makes my skin soft and supple. On its own it has a natural sweet coconut smell but with the Essential oils, I can give it my own touch.

I have not tried using this on my face yet as I read somewhere that coconut oil may irritate thin facial skin. Found this jar at Costco at an excellent price.

My skin get so dry and flaky almost all year living in S. FL. Like I never exfoliate or moisturize. Lotions don’t work, actually sometimes it seems worse. I started using this because one time they were out of my previous favorite Neutrogena Light Body Oil.

My skin is pretty sensitive, especially my legs. It has never looked or felt better. The bumps 95% have gone away and my skin is actually soft again. It lightly smells like coconut oil. It has a few different oils, all organic! None of which reacts with my skin.

Which is a FIRST! I love this oil. It’s now a daily staple!.

I continue to be amazed by this product. I originally purchased this to use on my dog’s skin when she was suffering from a rash. She has sensitive skin and I needed something to soothe her skin. This worked very well.

I also used it on her coat to help with winter dryness, again it worked well. Next, I tried it myself as an eye makeup remover. I wear multiple layers of mascara and have struggled to done a makeup remover that got rid of makeup without irritating and drying my skin.

I will never use anything else – the makeup melts away and leaves my skin is moisturized. I also use it on my entire face for gentle makeup remover. A little goes a long way and the container lasts for a while.

Well worth the money!.

March 2021 I had a liver transplant and with all the crazy meds I have to take my hair become very thin and was falling out. I’ve always had very thick and long hair till then. My husband saw how upset I became and wouldn’t leave the house.

He came home with this product and within a few weeks we saw my becoming thicker and new growth. I definitely recommend this product and see for yourself you will absolutely be excited.

I am obsessed with this deep conditioner! I severely damaged my hair with bleach not long ago, so I’ve been trying to maintain a great balance of protein moisture to prevent further damage. There are many amazing deep conditioners on the market, this is one of them! I truly notice much less breakage more manageability when using this one! I have NOTHING bad to say about this product!! Just wish they made a bottle of this deep conditioner from this line.

If they do make it, I can’t find it.

Literally life changing! I have curly hair, and after a few days of wearing my hair curly I would DREAD washing and drying because it would be so tangled. I would literally be crying from the pain of trying to get the brush through.

Now, I use this and a large round brush and I can dry my hair with MUCH less discomfort. It takes a little longer and I sometimes still have a few places I need to use a paddle brush to get through but it’s really so so so much better.

This will ALWAYS be in my house. Edit – I left this review several years ago and am still using this product. Nothing else I have found works half as well! The detangling effect is second to none (and believe me, I have still been trying other products).

Herbal Essences hair oil blend is free from silicones and colourants, it is a value for money product at $18. 99. Overall I really enjoyed this hair oil, it hydrated my hair, it is light weight, is good value and contains beneficial ingredients, I will definitely be repurchasing.

Love the coconut smell and how it makes my hairs feel. You do have to shake it up. I spray it in my hand then rub my hands together and apply to my scalp and all through my hair after I washed my hair.

I absolutely love this stuff. Worth every dollar. I have no problem with shaking it and rubbing it on my hands then applying since I do the same thing with all leave in hairs conditioners, no matter the brand.

I always have to make sure everything is evenly put in properly. I feel and think if you are doing your hair you want it done correctly and you need to spend the extra time. This stuff is just as good as the expensive name brands.

Thank you so much for having some thing in my price range and amazing product with excellent smell too. Definitely worth trying for anyone who has the dedicated time in their hair routine to add an extra hair oil to their treatment and those who have dry hair.

I personally wouldn’t recommend if you have extremely oily hair since this does act like a hair oil.

I was lucky enough to trial this product through review crew. Out of the three products I tried in this range, the Herbal Essences bio:renew Pure coconut and Aloe hair oil blend was my absolute favourite! I have always had a bit of a love/hate relationship with hair oils, having oily hair myself, but this one has just WOWed me to the ends of the earth.

The light blend leaves my hair feeling soft, hydrated and shiny without weighing it down or leaving it greasy and sticky. It has an absolutely beautiful scent that reminds me of a summer holiday at the beach.

The light spritz applicator means I can easily apply through the hair without adding too much. My favourite way to use this is to give a very light mist to the lengths and ends of my hair after blow drying or straightening to remove the flyaways without weighing down my hair.

I was very happy to be apart of this trial and would absolutely be purchasing this, and maybe others in the range, again.
