This is a good straightener for thin hair. I wouldn’t recommend if you have thick or more course hair. The heat doesn’t stay at the set temperature the entire time you’re using it. You have to pause to let it heat back up.

And it doesn’t heat up quick like advertised on the box, it takes several minutes. The heat settings go from 1-20 in increments of 5, so you don’t know what temp it’s supposed to be at. I haven’t been able to curl my hair successfully with it either.

I’ve tried several times and it just doesn’t clamp on the hair tight enough. So if you want a decent straightener to just straighten your hair, this one isn’t bad.

This is a holy grail item for me! The first one I got lasted me almost 10 years and for a flat iron under $20 to not only last that long but give incredibly smooth, shiny hair until it finally quit working says ALOT! I have since replaced with 2 (gotta have a back up in case they stop making it) and it works just as well as the first.

Heats fast, works phenomenal, super affordable, locks closed and has an auto shut off!!! Definitely recommend and as you read, have bought a few. 😊.

There is nothing negative I can say about this straightener. Seriously nothing. My husband and i started dating a little over 5 years ago and after spending night with him a few times,he bought me this to keep at his house.

I had a fifty dollar straightener at my home. He spent 16. 00 on this one at Walmart. It was sweet but I wasn’t putting much faith in it. Well wasn’t i wrong? This works perfectly, almost 5 years later it still works as good as when he got it for me and it’s the only straightener i have (my more expensive one died along the way).

It’s a 1inch flat ceramic iron that has an adjustable wheel to turn heat to your liking. It’s not in degrees but sequential numbers and idk if there is a key that tells what each number translates to in degrees but you learn what works for you wear so I never think about itm I know it gets seriously hot if you turn it all the way up and i can’t imagine running it thru my hair at that temp.

It straightens perfectly. With heat protector and product to keep my straight hair in place, I start with small chunks and slowly slide it thru my hair and I’m left with beautiful sleek hair that holds it’s look too.

It has on off switch to turn it off or it can be unplugged but if you leave your house and can’t remember, it will turn itself off after so long of not being used and five years later all the features still work.

No it’s not fancy, it’s basic but if you are like me and just use it to straighten your hair and don’t need any extras then get this inexpensive jewel.

Love this flat iron. Highly recommend. My go to has always been Chi, for years. I decided to give this one a shot as my hair just was not looking the same and I was tied of replacing with another Chi.

There were many many things that I loved about Kristin Ess – 3-In-One Ceramic Flat Iron. First I loved the box that it is in, its very sheek and very nice looking with a different and unique feel too it, then I like how the flat iron is on top in a little box of its own that you can pull out and keep your flat irons in so you dont have too worry about dropping them.

I love how the cord is wrapped and has a Velcro sticky band around it, so all I have too do is wrap it back up and put the band around the cords. I also love the two flat iron covers for it because its a new way of protecting them.

The instructions are very clear and understanding. Most of all what I absolutely love about the Kristin Ess – 3-In-One Ceramic Flat Iron is that once you hit the on button you can easily adjust the temperature too the proper temp for your hair.

Its doesnt get super hot to where I cant hold it, it do not make my hair fry or pop or even break off while I am straightening my hair. The metal flattening plates are so so soft and easy too grip my hair to the roots.

It straightens with out me having too keep going over and over my hair, my hair is alway silky smooth and looks as if I have gotten it done by a professional. Easy too turn off and cools down very very quickly and so easy to put away and store.

I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. I use this flat iron about once a week, between straightening or curling my hair. I love that the button is on the inside. I have problems with breakage so I’m glad it glides along my hair so easily.

I love the rubberized coating so it’s not slippery, and I travel a lot for work so the plastic end cover is a life saver when I have to straighten and pack everything up right away. Considering getting more for my family….

I have the nanoblack 3-in-one flat iron (couldn’t find it in Influenster) the full size, not the mini. It has a 9ft cord that moves with the iron (like if you’re doing curls) it’s not fixed to it, this is helpful if you’re like me have hair past your butt + it helps keep your cord from getting twisted.

This iron is beautiful, it has a very soft silky feel to it is super sleek looking. It’s fairly light weight comfortable to hold. My hand wrist don’t get tired half way through doing my hair. It doesn’t have a lock on it to keep it closed but it does come with a cap you can slide over the end which keeps it closed, the instructions sheet says the cap is heat proof but I don’t quite trust that it is so I leave the iron in my sink until it cools down before putting the cap on (which fits quite snugly) hanging it up.

As far as heat up time WOW this thing heats up FAST! It took less than 30 seconds for it to get up to temp! The sides are rounded so you can easily do curls without getting crease lines in them, although I haven’t quite mastered the technique of curling with a flat iron yet.

One thing I was worried about was that hair would snag but after using it a few times that’s no longer a concern. My hair slides through it like silk. It has ceramic plates which are great for those of us who tend to get static hair after using hot tools (ugh the worst) It has a few different heat settings.

I did have to look up how to do that since there’s no dial or specific button for that but it was easy to do. Just keep clicking the power button quickly until it’s the temp you want. When you plug it in you have to hit the power button, it doesn’t just start heating up on its own like other irons I’ve owned in the past.

With all that being said I definitely do recommend this iron if you’re in the market for a new one. It came in a really nice heavyweight cardboard box with a magnetic flap, I’m sure most will throw it away but if you’re like me keep the boxes to repurpose or so your tools are more protected during travel this is a good box that won’t be crushed or damaged easily.

I bought this item during the Target Black Friday sale. The first iron I received was defective and would automatically turn off as soon as I turned it on. I tried multiple plugs to make sure it was the iron and not the outlet before sending it back.

Target replaced it, although it took a few weeks to receive the new one. I have owned many other brands of irons, most of them considered higher end vs this one. I am impressed with the features this one comes with: electronic temperature control (my GHD does not have this), curved plate edges for curling hair (again my GHD does not have this), additional length of plates accommodating for long hair, and the smoothness of the Titanium plates.

It is packed with features for the price. However, it does not have dual voltage which means I can not travel with it as it won’t convert in other countries to their power type, which is something I general seek out in an iron.

Also, there is something about it that just feels a little flimsy compared to the GHD I am replacing it with, or the Amika I had previously owned, or even the Chi iron I had before that one. I use my iron every day, sometimes multiple times a day for touch ups, and they tend to last me about 2 years (doesn’t matter which brand) before they fizzle out.

I have long wavy hair, that I either straighten or put a curl into depending on how much time I have. I will keep this iron because I only paid $60 for it during the Black Friday sale, but it’s not my favorite of all the irons I have owned and used in the past.

It’s definitely “passable” and worth the $60 price tag however. I’ll be looking to purchase another iron with dual voltage when I am able to start traveling again. This one should get me through until then.

I received a defective hair straightener. Turns on fine, heats up, then if I move the straightener, it also moves the electrical cord of course, then it shuts off immediately. I turn it back on, and try to straighten my hair, again it shuts off immediately.

Manual says that temperature blink until it heats up, which it did, then once a desired temperature is reached, it suppose to be on a few minutes. In my case, I pick up the straightener after it heats up, then it shuts off and cools off quickly!!! Impossible to keep it warm, due to the electrical issue in the cord.

The product was defective. Not happy dealing with re-packing, printing labels, and packaging again. I have a video recording available to proof this issue. I am sure it works, not in my case. Not one star, if possible- there was no choice of 0 star.

Overall I like the effect that the larger barrels have on my hair and so far this product has operated well, but the place where you put your thumb to open the waver gets so hot that after about 10 minutes of use it’s difficult to even touch.

Also, the on/off button is put in a place where I constantly accidentally touch it and turn it off. Another downfall of this product is that the material that is wrapped around the stand melts (learned the hard way)—the weight of the waver makes it so that it shifts easily and it did just that when I wasn’t paying attention and a part of the stand melted.

These aren’t dealbreakers but they’re definitely annoying design flaws.

I’ve always been intrigued to try a 1. 5 inch straightener. Typically, I have always used the standard 1 inch straightening iron. My hair is long, bleached, damaged, fine, very frizzy, and wavy. When I straighten my hair, my hair typically becomes frizzy shortly after styling.

I’ve been wanting a new straightener recently and have been eyeing this one in particular. My old one (Drybar digital Tress Press) still works perfectly fine but I’ve had it for 6-7 years and I wanted to see if there was any new straightening technology out there.

I’ve never heard of a vibrating straightener so I was interested to see what that’s like, plus I just bought a new white hairdryer and wanted a straightener that would ideally match in color. Yes, this is expensive, but I managed to grab this one on sale, plus used a bunch of Ulta rewards money, so I got a great deal.

So far, I really like this thing. Just as an observation, it’s almost 2 inches longer than my old straightener. The vibrating feature seems cool and I really feel like it helps my hair not snag at all while I’m straightening.

I did see some reviews about the outside of the straightener chipping off quickly, and this happened with my last Drybar straightener, so we’ll see what happens. I also feel that for the price, this had a digital temperature gauge, but it’s not the end of the world.

I only just got this, so I’m crossing my fingers that this straightener lasts me years like my last one, but only time will tell.

I cannot comment on the longevity of this product, as I literally tried it about 4 hours ago but was so excited I had to write a review straight away. I just returned my GHD platinum + and was disappointed.

and worried that I was about to spend $600 on a Dyson to find what I was looking for. I read some online reviews and these seemed to rate highly so I thought I’d try them. Best flat iron I’ve ever used! I used the 3 light setting (not sure what heat this is) and my flat, thin, treated hair curled instantly with no styling product used.

It felt gentle, with no snagging and didn’t seem to be damaging to my hair at all. 4 hours later my curl is still there and looking perfect! No idea why it vibrates, but it’s not really noticeable when you’re using it other than the humming noise and whatever it is doing it’s working.

I would comment that the outside of the plates do get super hot so that’s something to watch out for. And it doesn’t come with a heat pad, which is annoying as I just threw out my old one when my Chi’s broke.

But overall, I am super happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

I currently use a bayblisspro prima3000 flatiron which has been fine but I like new things and this caught my eye, since I like to cash in my rewards points for big purchases like this it was practically free.

It looks beautiful, heats up fast and did a great job straightening my hair. I noticed it didn’t catch on my hair like the bb and also the the sides of the plates didn’t burn my neck like sometimes happens with the bb.

The slight vibrating feature is nice, it makes it seem more high tech than other irons and my hair runs smoothly thru it like it says. I have thick coarse hair and this goes up to the high setting of 450 so it’s perfect.

I have had several other drybar tools over the years (blowdryer, curling wand, 2 flat irons, 2 blow dry brushes and a heated styling brush) and even though I’ve passed some on to other family members they all still work so I know it’s a good brand.

I love the sleek look of this curler and the way it creates beautiful lasting beachy waves. I’ve tried 1. 25in ceramic curling iron and wands, but the curls don’t last. Not sure if it’s due to my thick asian hair? I believe the titanium material helps hold my curls a lot longer.

The tip does get hot, but I hardly use it. The clamp is a little loose and hair does glide easily, but I prefer it to be a little tighter. I also wish it was a longer barrel for longer hair and that there was a temp lock feat.

Overall, so good so far. Loving this curling iron!.

First of all, I love the aesthetic of the curling iron. Secondly I love how my hair comes out with this product. It’s not hard to figure out how to do it HOWEVER, the clamp has to be facing forward to not get a clamp mark when doing face framing waves (see video).

If I had to say one tiny thing that I don’t like it’s that the placement of the on/off button. I have found that I’ve accidentally turned off the curling iron while using it. The tool itself is realistically priced and easy to find at target! Also in the photo I shared I did all the hairstyles with this product.

I bought this curing iron on sale about 3 years ago. I bought it with no intention of loving it as much as I did! I bring it everywhere, for years n years & it worked absolutely perfect. I am a huge product junkie but when it comes to styling tools, I’ve always just gone with cheaper brands you can buy anywhere. This was the first time I decided to “splurge” on a hair straightener and I am so glad I did.

My cheaper irons have always worked but I usually had to run it through my fine, frizzy, wavy hair at least a few times and even then my ends would still have an odd flip to them and it would easily get kinked our start to have weird waves throughout the day.

I went to Ulta and saw this iron on sale (plus I had another 20% coupon) so it made it easier for me to splurge for the first time. The first time I plugged it in, it heat up in about 30 seconds to 390 degrees and the vibrating wasn’t weird at all.

It does just help your hair glide through which means no tugging that can cause breakage. Additionally, I only have to run it past my hair once and I have sleek, stick straight hair! No more weird flips and the style lasts days.

I am IN LOVE with this iron and will be kicking my old tool to the curb. The only thing I could see someone complaining about is that it makes your hair STRAIGHT so it loses some volume (especially for my fine hair) BUT nothing that can’t be fixed with a root booster or volumizing product.

I’d much rather have sleek hair that I need to add a little volume to than frizzy hair with weird kinks.

Have been using CHI irons and hair dryers for 10 years and recently decided to make a change. I am soooo glad I did! I can see why this iron costs as much as it does normally. It is EXCELLENT, vibrating motion makes the hair move around as you pass, touching more hair as you are covering your hair root to tip.

INCREDIBLY fast, only took 1 pass for most of my hair, sometimes two for good measure (my CHI required 3-4 passes). I have medium thickness hair and long , well past halfway down my back. It took about 12-14 minutes to do my entire head after letting it air dry.

One reviewer here said it was awkward putting it on the bathroom sink counter (assuming bc of the vibration), I am not sure she’s ever used this iron bc the vibration only works when you’re squeezing it shut.

As soon as it’s in the open (natural) position when you are done with each pass, the vibration stops. Hence when you set it down on the counter not closed, it will NOT vibrate. You can also decide not to use the vibrate feature, that turns on and off with the touch of a button.

Love that it gets hotter than my CHI (max was 392*), I use it on the 410* setting and it’s just hotter enough to work perfectly over my hair making it so I pass it a lot less times. My new favorite hair tool! So happy I made the switch.

When I first bought the iron- I loved it. It didn’t snag my hair at all and my hair was shiny. Someone even asked me if I had just gotten my hair done. The iron, however, didn’t maintain its temperature.

It kept fluctuating any where from 8 to 15 degrees. I thought there was something wrong with it so I returned it for another one. The next one did the same thing but the fluctuation was to a lower temperature so I didn’t mind it.

I have thin hair and was using the iron at 350 degrees. It wasn’t straightening at a lower temperature. After 2 1/2 weeks my hair wasn’t shiny any more. It was totally fried and broken. And I use heat protectant products.

Needless to say, I returned the iron. Prior to this iron I had a chi turbo which lasted about 13 years and it never damaged my hair like this. If you have thick or coarse hair then I think this is a good iron for you.

I would not recommend it if you have thin hair. I have since purchased a different brand and am very happy as it does the job at 280 degrees and has put some shine back into my hair. It’s not a magic wand so it will take some time and some haircuts before my hair is in decent condition again.

I absolutely love my new flat iron that also allows for the ease of doing my hair while it’s wet. What a time saver it has been for me going to Nursing school & Work! The quality is excellent. It has air holes allowing it to vent and express steam and dry your hair while it is wet or damp.

I set it at 300 temperature and it takes 10 seconds to heat up so it’s ready to start straightening right away. However it does take a bit for it to cool down. The iron is a great size for those of us that small irons aren’t enough.

You can take a whole big section and it flattens easily and looks great. So bigger sections also allow for getting done a lot quicker. No need to take small sections to get a great look. I love the 360 swivel of the cord that keeps it from getting tangled so easily and creating a short life for the iron.

You can use both hands without constantly trying to move the cord out of the way. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great innovative flat iron that’s efficient, great design and creates great styles.

I love this straightener! I’m used to using more expensive brands, but decided to give it a go bc of the damp hair feature. My hair doesn’t get stuck in it like others, it glides over my damp or dry hair smoothly, it leaves my hair very straight (I know that sounds silly, but some do not get hot enough to smooth my naturally wavy hair as well).

The only reason I took off a star is sometimes it locks randomly and I have to move the unlock button. It doesn’t lock while on my hair by the way just sometimes right after I straighten a piece and pull it away it can lock (maybe the angel or I accidentally press it?) but definitely doesn’t bother me enough not to use it.

It’s affordable too so even if it only lasts a year it’s steal a good buy!.

This Remington Pro Wet2Style Flat Iron is an upgrade from the older model. I love that there are vents to take the water out of your hair while you straighten and a big enough plate to get bigger chunks, the less time I spend trying to fix my hair the better.

The color of the device itself looks almost dusty pink and the buttons are on the side! It gets up to 450° but I would never push it that far and risk frying my hair. It doesn’t take long to heat up and I only have to do 2 passes through each section for it to be nice and straightened.

I use it on 80% dry hair and I have no issues with my hair not straightening or drying properly. It honestly helps when you don’t have a lot of time but need your hair to look good. Lastly, the device feels of great and quality material and I look forward to continue use with incorporating it into my daily routine!.

I would had gave this iron a 5 star but I bought one a little bigger than a inch and it worked 2 times now won’t even turn on so I went and got another but this is the one inch and it’s still in the box.

I have very thick red hair so not many straightening iron work well on my hair to make it look really straight, and if I went and bought another that shows you how much I did like the performance. They wouldn’t even let me switch it out because I got it is a gift from my mother because she asked me what I wanted she didn’t give me the receipt she threw it away because she knew I wanted that, and they said without the receipt I couldn’t do nothing about it which really bummed me out because it was a really good straightener and it was a little bigger, which I liked the only reason I got the 1 inch was because that’s the only one they had but it’s the same exact one.

It’s quick heat up, it’s adjustable temp is great for all kinds of hair, if you use it for curls, as well as straight, it holds your hairstyle. It’s gentlle for my fine hair. I’ve only had it a short time, but so far am very impressed with it.

Oh and the price was comparable.

Best straightener I have ever owned. This is the second one I’ve bought in 4 years, and not because the last one broke but because I passed it on to someone else who loved it! I use to only buy CHI but after using this, I can never go back.

CHI is overpriced and not durable! They can’t handle daily use. This doesn’t snag and glides through hair. I love the gripping matte texture, the automatic 1 hr shut off, and the swiveling cord. I am white with thick hair that is probably 7/10 in terms of curliness.

Tight but not ringlets. I use this to get straight hair, or beachy curls/waves. It’s always soft and holds style between washes. The cherry on top is that it isn’t overpriced!.

I’ve been flat ironing my hair for several years. I have natural curly hair. (Mix of 3b/3c type) I’ve used chi, and different flat iron brands. My favorite was corioliss until it broke and I saw this flat iron at ulta.

It was under $100 which was my main reason of getting this. It works really well, doesn’t burn my hair, there’s a few heat settings on it already. After using this My hair is straight straight, not that puff/ poofy straight, I’m talking Dominican blow out straight after using this flat iron.

Day 3 and I still look like I have that silky fresh out of the salon hair. If you want to make the most out of this flat iron make sure your hair prep is consistent. How you prep your hair first before flat ironing is how you get your best results.

After my Chi died I needed to replace. I have thick, wavy, long and color treated hair. So yes, it looks crazy wild after washed. I decided to treat myself and my hair. Bought GHD gold. It took so many passes and took forever to style.

When finished my hair felt rough and dry. Then I tried the Kristin Ess porcelain ceramic. Wow! Perfect! My hair isn’t poofy or rough. Very soft and smooth. The Kristin Ess feels higher quality at half the price.

Also 4 heat settings. I did the 415 degree (use heat protection) and it was so easy. Better glide, better style, better to the touch. This iron delivered amazing results. Also super easy to use for curls or bends.

And easy to get from roots to ends. Amazing!.

This tool was exactly what I needed- it heats up fast and stays hot, the outside stays cool thanks to the fan (low risk of burning myself major ++), the cord is long and thick, the tool itself weighs next to nothing, and it is under $100.

I have short hair for the first time in forever so my ancient tools needed an update and this thing was perfect- it replaced a straightener and my wide curling iron and let me splurge on a hair dryer (which is what matters most imho).

You can curl tighter or looser depending on your movement, bump or flip ends, and quickly tame cowlicks and bangs. Thats it. Its simple but works!. if you know what you are doing. If you are used to curling with a straight iron then this will feel amazing but if not then there is like a 20 min learning curve but it is worth it! (and honestly applies to all straighteners so learn once and do forever) -It is a perfectly neutral pink, not a huge eye sore -it is sooooo light, I never thought I would care but I realized I could do my whole hair without needing to give my wrists a break -It heats up quickly and automatically shuts off after a certain time THE BAD: HOWEVER.

If you have LONG HAIR aka PAST YOUR SHOULDERS (and, like me, have a lot of it) then do NOT get this tool. this guy would’ve been useless to me a month ago when my hair was past my chest. Maybe if your hair is fine or you don’t have much then ok BUT FEAR NOT- They sell a longer version on their website, I will upgrade to that one when I get there and this one will transition to live on as my travel tool.

Love this lil guy. -The iron doesnt open very wide, which I admit my older tool probably had a hinge issue, but I wish this opened wider to feed hair easier (also why this isnt a good match for long thicker hair) THE THINGS OF NOTE, but ok it at this price point: The two buttons are sensitive and their size and position is right where I tend to place my hand when rotating it.

I’m learning my way around it, but can throw you off. (Maybe its my hands? I wear size medium winter gloves. ?) -The fan does make noise, but it is not very loud and you can turn it on and off. I actually love it.

it reminds my clumsy self that a hot tool is there and to turn it off. -Please at least skim the manual to read about cleaning and maintaining it, its easy and will make sure your money was well spent.

If you have hard to curl hair – get this tool! I have very fine/silky hair. It never wants to hold a curl, especially in the summer when it’s consistently 80-90% humidity. The only way it would hold it the best was with a flat iron, and even on extra humid days or rainy days, it would be almost completely straight after a day.

At first I thought this thing was a gimmick, but what intrigued me about the Le Duo is the fact that it blows air while you’re curling, so essentially setting the curl immediately, and I decided to give it a try.

When I tell you my hair has never held a curl like this. it has NEVER held a curl like this!! I even had to tame them because the curls were so curly! After the initial settling of the curls, I went outside, where the humidity was intense that day, and all my curls stayed! I’ve used it a few times now with different hair dirtiness and styling products, and every time the curls stay better than any other tool I’ve used.

I highly doubt I’ll ever go back to a regular flat iron (or a curling iron/wand which literally does nothing for my hair), this is it for me! Seriously, if you have silky hard to curl hair, try this out!.

I totally don’t understand all the bad reviews for this bad boy! I want to preface by stating that I am not great with hair – I don’t watch YouTube videos or tutorials, and if something isn’t easy, it simply won’t get used.

My hair is shoulder length, wavy and thick – I’ve got A LOT of hair. I bought this because I was looking for a great combo tool – that can curl and straighten – to keep in my suitcase (I travel for work a lot).

I’ve tried curling with my straightener but can’t seem to master it, and I don’t want to pack both a wand and a straightener in my carry-on. I just got the Le Duo, and so far I am SUPER impressed! I’m glad I didn’t read into all the negative reviews! – this is easy to use.

Something about the clamp action makes it easier to curl than my straightener – it heats up quickly – it does seem that the fan adds to the curl, but you can turn this off if preferred – I haven’t yet hit the buttons like some reviews mention – they’re a tad bit recessed and just haven’t had this issue – I will update my review if this happens bc I can see how that would be annoying – I also tested with zero product in super oily hair, so I can’t wait to try when my hair is cleaner + product! I think this will only get better Anyway, just my $.

02 – if I love it, I’ll likely be purchasing a second one for my everyday use!.

I’m pretty sure I already wrote a review on this but I don’t see it posted so here we go. I have naturally curly, color treated hair. My favorite flatiron of all time is Babyliss because it does the job in one pass and leaves my hair looking silky smooth.

I’ve also used Chi but the results aren’t as good. With as much hype as Drybar gets (including my daughter who swears by their tools) to say I was disappointed is a gross understatement. I purchased it at a highly discounted rate and still returning.

The tool had a burning smell even before I began using it and more so when using it. I also had to do more than 1 pass at 450deg. Not ok and not normal. Let me be clear, I use quality hair products on my hair and they made no difference here.

My hair was super flat, straw like and absolutely no volume after. These are not issues with Babyliss so I’m returning this and picking up another Babyliss.

I have no complaints as far as performance goes, I have thick semi curly hair and it does exactly what I need it to do. It’s a straightener so, it’ll damage your hair regardless, not sure why people are mentioning it will kill your hair.

However, this straightener has stopped working on me twice. The first time within two years of purchase, I contacted DryBar and they sent me a replacement. Unfortunately, one year later, it’s stopped working again.

I take good care of my hot tools and with seldom usage in efforts of keeping my hair healthy. With that said, I probably don’t need an almost $200 straightener, but for that price it better last me as long as my CHI did that lasted me from middle school into my early 20’s! Very disappointed.

I was honestly not expecting to be as blown away as I am by this flat iron! I have very wavy hair that tends to get extremely frizzy when I’m anywhere near any sort of humidity. Unfortunately I live in South Florida so that’s basically all the time.

The first test I gave this flat iron was when I used it before a night out at an outdoor event, in the summer. All that plus South Florida makes for a difficult test so I was genuinely shocked at how smooth and straight my hair still was at the end of the night.

While it is a bit pricey it’s something that I basically use everyday so it’s well worth the investment. And I don’t say that just because of the amazing results I get after every use, it’s also because, unlike the majority of flat irons out there, it doesn’t damage my hair, something that’s extremely important in the short and long term.

I’m a hairstylist and when I saw this featured on another stylists page I was intrigued. I purchased it and fell in love. Well, clumsy me, I dropped it a couple times (I’ve dropped plenty of tools before) and didn’t know something was wrong with it.

For this price tag, I assumed it would be pretty sturdy. Well, it burnt the hair clean off my clients head when turning on the infrared ability. I cried and comped her service. Thank God she has a head full of hair.

When I contacted customer service, they let me know warranty states that if there is any physical damage then the warranty is null. There was a little part where the cord is that helps it swivel, yeah that broke off.

So there’s that! I don’t know any hairstylists that hasn’t dropped anything while working but like I said for the amount of money, I thought that it would be more sturdy.

Truth be told, I didn’t have any true issues with my old ceramic flat irons results. It was getting old and needed replacing from wear and tear. You don’t know what you don’t know! I have an area in the center of my head that has a completely different texture than the rest and typically determines when my hair is at the end of its flat ironed life.

I usually didn’t make it past 2-3 days when it was hot out or when my head sweat before my perfect silky flat ironed hair would turn frizzy and that area would get thick and unmanageable. My new Croc has by far exceeded the results I use to get from my old flat iron.

We can call this thick and unmanageable patch She-gra. The feel of my hair after flat ironing with my Croc was a bit silkier than before (no visual difference) and I am happy to report that She-gra has lasted 2 weeks and could actually last longer.

I have only had to add a little hair polisher every now and then, but it still feels great! With my old flat iron I had to wrap my hair around and tie it up in a scarf every night to prevent the ends from getting frizzy and dry, with my Croc I have been putting my hair in a bonnet unwrapped around my head and again it’s been 2 weeks.

I can’t leave without mentioning the design. At first I thought I would have trouble getting acclimated with the design being that it is different than my old one that I had been using for the last 15 years.

I had no issues with the change, it was easy to use. This thing is magic! ADP.

This is my fourth one from this company. I’ve never found a better one. Smooths, straightens easily, and it’s fast. My only complaint about this one at the moment is a high pitched noise coming from it.

It’s really annoying being so close to my ears at times. The first one I had of these lasted years. Every one after worked for about a year so keep that in mind when looking at the price. They do have some warranty program, but it requires you to mail it to them where you have to live without one for a month.

I just think the qualify is not as good, but it’s still the best option.

Those are some waves. The Hairitage waver produces deeper waves, is lighter, is more ergonomic, and I like the long cord compared to the triple-barrel 3B Beachwaver. The fact that the Hairitage deep waver is half the price and is available at Walmart, done ✅.

The results are a hot mess, albeit in a tousled, good way. I have a lot of shoulder length hair, with some wave, which straightens easily if I use a very hot blower and a jumbo round brush, and curls just as easily if the curler is super hot and I use small sections.

I typically straighten my hair, because the 1” curls fall within a few hours. The deep waver is different. The wave stays. For me the deep waver accentuates the wave I already have, and lasts a couple of days.

My husband’s comment is that my hair looks natural, the way it looks when I get up in the morning. HaHa. Again, think bohemian, if you have a lot of hair to begin with!.

Wanted to really love this. I watched the YouTube videos and thought I would be okay because the creator seemed to have similar hair to me, BUT I was wrong. I have also purchased the BedHead deep waver and didnt love it, but thought I might like this as the pattern in this is deeper and creates different waves.

I have straight hair with a bit of a wave and a decent amount. I was hoping my hair wouldn’t be too thick (as I have a decent amount but nothing super thick). But it was very 80s big hair when I was done and I would say I’m pretty good with using tools.

This is definitely only for thinner hair. My hair was too big and not as polished as I would like. I wear my hair in beachy waves/curls a lot and love volume, but at the root. This just created big 80s hair for me.

Really good impulse buy. I normally use a 1 inch barrel curler and I love this product so much more. Good volume that lasts days (I wash my hair once a week). It gives me similar results to my natural wave, but cleaner.

I use the lowest setting and only clamp down for a few seconds. It takes me longer that my barrel curler, but I’m also taking my time to line up the feel waves; or else it will look weird if you accidentally overlap.

Other than that 10/10. I’m sure this can be very damaging if you use the highest setting and use it daily.

The product is very pretty and looks great when it arrives. I was excited to try it but what a waste of money. I could get the same effect with my straighteners or just putting damp hair up and letting it dry.

I’m very experienced with hair tools and gave it 3 tries with different sized sections and temperatures, but even with the smallest section on highest heat I didn’t think the result was good enough. Frustrating that I have to pay to return the item.

I’ve been curling my hair with tongs, and Wands and different curlers for years, I ordered this as I have very long hair and find my thicker curler is great but curls don’t last, and my wand is also great but the curl is too tight! I tried this out yesterday and the curl is beautiful more of a mermaid style hair and it’s lasts! I defo recommend if you want a slightly loser curl/waves that last!.

Super easy to use. I am rather a hair tool novice and I haven’t had a ton of success with styling my hair but this was incredibly easy to use right out of the box. I managed to get lovely waves on my first go.

Okay so honestly, I own several flat irons; this is my second Paul Mitchell. I love the way this flat iron feels in hand. It has a little weight but it’s not heavy; it’s just enough so that it’s not easy to drop.

I absolutely love the touchscreen feature with digital temperature settings. This goes up to 450 degrees and I usually straighten my 3c/4a hair at 420 degrees. It glides smoothly down my hair and I haven’t experienced any snagging.

I received this straightener as a gift from my husband. At first I thought Oh no! My husband picked out a beauty product for me. I am also leaving this review in reference to the 1 star review. This straightener came with a paul mitchell neuro heat protectant spray.

As a system with the spray this is better than any straightener I’ve ever owned. I could see how this could be damaging if not used correctly. It was designed for you to make ONE pass thru your hair.

If you do not section off your hair just go over and over again you are subjecting your hair to very high heat which will damage anyones hair. The provided spray locks in moisture and seals strands. I cannot believe the difference the spray made with this product.

I have long blonde fine hair and a lot of it. I use this on the fine hair setting and it looks like I just walked out of the salon every time I use it.

I was lucky enough to get this flat iron 50% off because my Ulta was moving locations and they were clearing out inventory. This is by far the best straightener I have ever owned. It straightens my hair in one pass and doesn’t make my ends look crispy.

It does get very hot, so you definitely need to use a protectant on your hair.

Compact sized. Easy to carry around. Heats up really quickly and really enjoy the low temperature setting as it’s better for my coloured hair. It glides through the hair easily allowing smoother finish.

Highly recommend as it is on the cheaper end as well.

I’ve had the same straightener for ever and it finally died. I have the mermaid hair dyer and decided to give this one a go. Absolutely love it. Gets hot quick. Just glides along the hair. Cute colour.
