Simply perfection in a barbershop product!.

It is black but does not hide out grays on 4c hair. May work better for Caucasian hair.

I used it once trying to maintain my shape of hair I mean curly but it just parched my hair but yes it is long lasting and I would improve adding more hydrating properties to the product please because thin hair looks parched after washing it.

Very pleased with this gel. I’ve been looking for a product (for over a year) that holds curls/waves after I got heat damage. And this is it! After the gel is completely dry (on my hair) I scrunch it with a bit of oil in my hands.

It makes the my hair really soft, hydrated without losing the curls. I loved it!.

Best edge control on the market! The hold is amazing plus no flakes and lasts long. I use it for my twists and braids plus my edges of course. Plus the smell is amazing, it is almost $10 but it lasts a long time and a little goes a long way.

This is my all time favourite gel! I purchase the biggest size I can find. This gel works well in my 3B/C hair. It gives great hold. I never used to put gel throughout my hair because it would end up so stiff, flaky and dry.

This gel allows me to do this and it keeps my curls looking great all day, it’s so soft and there’s no flaking! I won’t use any other gel but this one!!.

I love that this product has Jamaican black castor oil however, I am not impressed with the quality. The product has a smell that my daughter loves but I do not care for at all. I’m natural and always looking for something to use on my edges that work and has a strong hold but this only work for a little bit.

It might work for other but not for me. I love this brand product but I’m not into this one. Great concept but not for me.

This is probably the best edge control I’ve ever used. It doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy and it’s easy to apply. It doesn’t really have much of a smell or residue and is easy to rinse of brush out your hair.

It leaves your hair feeling smooth and silky but still firm to the touch. I have thick natural hair and it did great on my edges and with my braids. I use this on my son’s braids as well and it works magic.

You can’t go wrong with this edge control.

I’ve searched high and low for a edge control that works wonders on my hair, then I found this product. Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Edge Control is the best. It smells really good and it has a super hold for my hard to keep down edges.

I love that it doesn’t leave and residue. The hold lasts for hours. It’s not heavy and thick like other brands. I highly recommend this product.

I am African American and have natural hair. At times, especially in between my retightenings, my edges look a little rough so I always need an edge tamer. I was very excited to try this version of Lets Jam because I believed the stronger formulation would be perfect for me.

I do like the fact that this formulation is lightweight and isn’t greasy. I also loved that it does not have a strong scent. It was very easy to apply to my hair and left no visible residue. I however, didn’t feel like it really held my edges in place or tamed my fly aways for long at all.

It looked great after applying it but within an hour my hair was back to square one. Overall, I think this product was just fair and really did not achieve the super hold that I was looking for on my natural hair.

When I braid my kids hair this is my go to product. This Jam and shine leave the hair with a natural shine and it last for 2 weeks when I do braids with extensions. I highly recommended this product to anyone who braids hair.

Extra bonus it smells good. Also it’s super lightweight! If you haven’t used this product you should. It’s good for slicking hair down with any styles especially baby hairs and ponytails. Another trick I found useful is if you have a hard time making straight clean parts this helps! Simply part the hair, slide some of this product across your part, than repeat that same area it keeps flyaway hairs out of the way.

I absolutely love this conditioning gel. I really try to style my hair every morning, but I sometimes can’t get my hair to stay in one place with gels, but the Let’s Jam gel is an incredible; it is strong, smells really nice and is very easy to apply without leaving a sticky mess.

I also love how it doesn’t make my hair feel really crunchy or overly firm; it is a very subtle feeling hold. I have been looking for a gel that doesn’t leave my hair feeling crunchy or firm, and the Let’s Jam! gel definitely doesn’t disappoint in that regard.

I will definitely recommend this gel to my friends in the future! Will certainly look for this same gel again when I run out!.

I am a Hispanic with straight fine hair, but I have so many baby hairs around my face and neck that I needed something to tame them. I really enjoy this product, first the packaging is great because it’s small and would be easy to travel with.

Second I love the smell, don’t get me wrong it isn’t some fancy perfume scent but I still like it. Third it works! I just scrape a tiny amount with my fingers and run through my baby hairs and it keeps most at bay.

You can’t beat the price too.

As a hairstylist and curly (2c to 3b mixed irish/italian hair girl). I love the co wash. Its lo poo and moisturizing. The condition/mask is good. Could be a little more softening. The oil is a 10!!! Only use it at the end.

and the shine is amazing!!! The shampoo is great for me for every other wash. My hair is ultra clean after using it. I have yet to try the cream/gel!! And the manuka honey I love the smell and I can tell a difference in my hairs cleanliness.

I do like this product – it definitely holds my curls during the day without leaving them feeling ‘crunchy’. I do feel as though I need to use a lot of product to get the desired result though, and will likely switch to a stronger hold gel next time and just scrunch out the gel cast myself, allowing my curls to still look soft and not crunchy.

It definitely is light hold though so if you have fine, curly hair like me that tends to go a bit flat, something stronger might be better.

I purchased this product hoping for great results with my curls. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. This product did not work for me. The smell is great, but it left my hair with that crunchy feel.

I tired it 3 different times adjusting the amount I used and nothing helped. Very disappointed that it didn’t work for me.

If I could give this product 100 stars I would. I have curly/wavy hair that almost reaches my waist and I was originally using the Devacurl stylers. However, those were really expensive and I had to use so much! I needed a cheaper alternative and bought this on the recommendation of some YouTubers.

I was not disappointed! This stuff is amazing!It has a very odd texture for a gel, it almost feels like a really thick glue, because it is pretty sticky. I use almost a handful of this on soaking wet hair and it never weighs down my curls or dries them out as long as I have a good leave-in conditioner.

It never leaves my hair crunchy or flakey and also works as a refresher when watered down a bit. You HAVE to try this if you are looking for a cheap curly styler!.

This the second Eco Style product I’ve used. I usually by the Olive Oil one. I really like this one, because I get better defined curls than the Olive Oil one. One the flip side it does not smooth the front of my hair as well in pony tails.

I’m pretty sure with a bit more time and effort, I could get it more smooth. Both Eco Styler products are less drying than any other styling gels I’ve tried (albeit only 2 other). There’s no flaking or hardness and they complement my other products well.

My hairstylist hated the idea of gel and immediately told me switch to another product. The product was extremely drying and provided terrible hold. After giving it a try for a week, I reverted back to Eco Styler.

So please don’t let the fact that it’s “gel” intimidate you. It’s a great affordable product.

This is a decent gel! This what I used all throughout basic training and still use it when I have to style my hair in a slick bun. It is in scented which is nice. I do find that too much can flake. It comes out easily.

I would say it is a medium hold.

My children have biracial hair and it’s hard to find the right product for styling their hair. ECO professional styling Gel with coconut oil is the right product. It is actually for all hair types. It not only repairs and conditions the hair but it also moisturizes defines and leaves their hair smooth and shiny.

As a mother I won’t just put anything in their hair without researching it. It is not expensive at all and it’s easy to apply. My teenage daughter uses it to do her edges and it makes her hair look amazing.

I also use it in my hair. I would deffinately recommend this product to anyone.

This is my first time ever buying this brand and I purchased this for a couple of reasons. One: to tame my sons kinky curls, and then also to lay down my hair for slicked back ponytail looks. I was expecting this to be like the kind of hair gel that hardens when it dries but it’s nothing like that and I’m not actually complaining because who wants hard hair anyway?? When using this on my sons hair, I was able to keep his curls in their form, tame the frizz and keep it from looking dry and his hair didn’t get crunchy at all!! The same for my hair.

I was able to slick back my hair and get it where I wanted it and it stayed in place with no flyaways. I wish I had bought this years ago lol.

For awhile I have been avoiding eco style gel because I have alway heard that it’s bad for your hair but the gels that I have used in the past would always leave flakes in my hair and sometimes leave my scalp itchy.

So, I decided to give eco style gel a try to see if it works for my hair and to see if it’s bad as people have claim it to be and I am so glad I gave it a try. It’s the only gel I have used so far that has not irritated my scalp or leave white flakes.

One downside I would like to mention is that it doesn’t hold my hair as much as I would like it to but it’s not too much of a problem. Overall, love the product.

Im mostly happy with my purchase. Only thing is there was a hair inside the jar of gel when I first opened it. Kinda turned me off but didnt want to go through the bother returning. I will still use.

Just questionable why there was a hair in a new product. Should have taken a photo but didnt think of it until Id already removed the hair.

This is better than the gel I was using before. I just put my other gel aside after seeing how good my hair looks after using this gel. lots of sheen, moisturizing and no flakiness. I love the fact that this is alcohol free, paraben free, Phthalates, and mineral oil free.

This gives a good amount to hold, but not as strong, strong hold. I guess you would have to go under the dryer to get like a stiff hold. This gel is infused with Jamaican black castor oil and Shea butter to provide a light flexible hold and manageability.

to really reveal soft, define strands without flakes, itch or crunch. Just a great shell overall!.

I have 2a/3c hair and I absolutely love this gel. I’ve been using it since I started my curly hair journey and I have used some other gels as well to different things but I always come back to this one.

Absolutely amazing hold and definition. I’d be more cautious if you have wavy hair though – it has a LOT of hold and can get quite sticky so I think it serves curly types more. Even for curly hair though it can get too sticky sometimes so I like to put some on my hands and water it down a bit with a few sprays from my styling bottle and remember that less is more otherwise it might get too greasy and crunchy.

Drying with a t shirt / microfibre towel afterward does miracles too :).

I thought this purchase was very good value for money. The product gave my hair lots of shine whereas previously it lacked lustre. I wanted it to define, loosen and hold my curls and it is the most effective product that I have used for this (believe me I have tried so many).

It is best applied when the hair is wet e. g. after washing. I was even able to freshen up the curls between washes by just wetting the hair, plaiting and leaving it in the plaits over night. Just wetting the hair seemed to activate the gel that I had initially applied after washing.

You need to gauge how much gel to use by experimenting. Too much will make the hair too crispy and stringy and I don’t recommend using it on dry hair at all.

I don’t like it nor’ do I dislike it. Yes, it’s flaky! You’ll have to wash your hair out after a couple of uses. I recommend molding your style the day before, sleep with a scarf and/or bonnet and there you go a molded hairstyle for the morning.

You might have to fix a couple of fly aways, but it’s all good. It molded my hair neatly, don’t recommend using for edges, unless you want to go out with dried up white edges. I have 4 type hair, not aware of the exact type.

If you have really thick hair it will not come out like the videos, it will be kind of like a wavy slick back, but it’s still pretty. I will continue using this product because it still slicks my hair down.

I love Eco Black castor & flaxseed oil gel. It holds my hair in place and it doesn’t flake or dry out my hair. It keeps my hair healthy when wearing molded hairstyles. I wash and condition my hair every week and while using this product it last from wash to wash.

The gel is good. Most of eco styles products are good as well. It was a great deal for the quantity. I’m satisfied. 🙂

Another great option from Eco! This one has more moisture than many of their other offerings and gives the hair a glossy shine. It does weigh my hair down a bit but I still enjoy the results from this gel.

The Crème of Nature Extra Firm Hold Gel claims to be a 48-hour long-lasting gel that holds stubborn edges. It claims to provide humidity resistance and moisture/condition the hair. Also, it states that this formula is non-flaking, non-sticky, and non-greasy, which is perfect for natural and relaxed hair types.

When I am deciding on an edge control, an edge control that is non-flaking and non-drying is a top priority for me because I have a dry scalp. I am an African American with naturally curly/coily hair.

When I first tried this product, I used it on my edges. I didn’t have any product on my edges as I had washed my hair the day before applying this gel. To my surprise, I didn’t experience any flaking.

The product also didn’t have an overbearing smell, which I loved because some products can be a little too overbearing with the fragrance. While I didn’t test this product to see if it had a “48 hour” hold, I will say that it held up for a few hours.

I also love the size of the container. I feel like I will get a lot of use of this product before I will have to run out an get another container. All in all, I really enjoyed testing out the Crème of Nature Extra Firm Hold Gel with Argan Oil, and I would highly recommend it to my friends with naturally curly/coily and relaxed hair types.

One year ago (or so), I was lucky enough to have been chosen for for the Creme of Nature Honey voxbox. Here, about a year later, I was again super lucky to get the Creme of Nature Argan Oil from Morocco voxbox.

Why does this matter? Well in my first voxbox, I recieved a full size container of the Creme of Nature Argan Oil from Morocco Extra Firm Hold Styling Gel and Edge Control. I’ve used it for an entire year on my edges (I don’t really do much with my edges so I didn’t use much), and when this new voxbox came with the new packaging, I was just about out.

I decided to do a new hairstyle and to use this gel to do it. I bought and installed faux locs using the gel on the entire project. I can trult say, I was really underestimating how really versatile this gel is.

It lays edges, it allows you to grab (or sn*tch) edges (should you choose), it makes neat boxes, it satins gorgeously when hair is brushed back for a ponytail, it acts as jam when doing crochet styles, it lends to stitch braiding,, I’m switching to it for braiding others.

I’m so happy i got a second chance to realize how amazng it was all along.

The texture of this product was quite thick which was fine because my hair is thick and porous. This product felt pretty moisturizing especially for a gel. It has just a tad bit of a stronger hold than the coconut and hibiscus definition gel but it also did not create a cast on my hair.

It was easy to work with and not very sticky or slimy. The smell is pleasant even with the castor oil smell. My hair in the picture is less than 24 hours after styling and honestly don’t foresee it lasting beyond the next morning, but primarily because I live in south FL where the humidity is at 15427% so the humectants in this product don’t help.

I would recommend this product to someone with normal to a bit thicker texture but not in a very high humid climate for it to last.

I wasn’t too sure at first but I LOVE this gel. The texture reminds of a really thick jam. I use it on wet hair after I applied curlsmith leavin conditioner and it is amazing. My hair had no crunch. Felt so soft.

Left no residue or flakes. And kept my curls defined. It is THICK I will say a little goes a long way. But it didn’t feel like I was stripping my hair of moisture like some gels do that have alcohol in it.

This one is alcohol free I believe and it felt like I added a thick protective hydration layer versus a hair gel. Hopefully I’ve described it well enough. I was not expecting it to be this great but I love it.
