20 Best Hair For Micro Braids (2023 Updated)

These shoes fit just the way I like — snug on the instep with a roomy toe box — and they provide great support. They felt great right out of the box. I rated the shoes only four stars because the support just doesn’t seem to last very long, even though I use the shoes for walking, not running.

Been a Kayano runner for 10+ years. The back heel frays and breaks down within a week. Contacted ASICS for support and it was indicated that there was nothing wrong with the shoes. Recommend trying a previous model or finding a new brand because it’s no longer durable.

I am happy I purchased this micro braids. I would normally spend up to 7-9 hours sitting on a chair at a salon to get me a micro braided style. I always get really tired at the end of the day. I also spend days taking it out myself or hours if I get an appointment at the salon.

This wig is a life saver, great investment, worth the time wait and the value placed on it I think should be worth more. I will be putting in another order shortly with a great tip. Your work is perfection.

I’ve purchased the hair for a destination wedding to Costa Rica. I wanted to have my hair in braids and desired soft flowy curls so I can style it easier and in different ways as well. I love the quality of the hair sent to me.

It’s super soft, wasn’t tangling, very little shedding and it’s beautiful. I’ve gotten many compliments from friends and family. For my style, I used a pack and an 1/3rd. It gives me the perfect fullness.

This was the 26 inch. I can also see myself reusing them in the future. One of my braids fell off and I was able to easily unbraid and rebraid it without difficulty. Through that process, I was able to see that I could actually reuse them.

If you really want high quality, reusable, and beautiful human hair for braiding, this is it! We’ll worth every penny. Will be returning for more in the near future.

I have purchased their bulk hair before for micro braids and I had no problem with it. I loved it so I purchased it again in December. I advise anyone if you purchased this hair in advance like I did but wasn’t planning on using it until a later date.

Make sure you try it wash it or something. I made this purchase in December but didn’t have it installed until March the biggest mistake and waste of money I ever made. Not only was this a bad batch of hair but their is nothing that can be done because you have installed it and you have had the hair over 14 days even if it has only been installed for a week today and I have to take it down.

This hair frizzed on me for one thing then I tried to wash and condition it like their website say. The biggest mistake, this hair tangled on me so bad that I couldn’t get it a loose that I had to cut it out.

I contacted perfect locks and their excuse was you can’t fold bulk hair because the cuticles are attached and it causes friction which causes tangling. Well unless they have a different way of doing micro braids the hair has to be fold.

Between the price of this hair and the instillation $700 gone to waste. I have very sensitive skin so when I think I have found a company that sells a good grade of hair I try to stick with it. This hair is itching and tangling and frizzing and their solution is to send you a travel set of their shampoo & conditioner.

So please test your hair prior to the 14 days.

I purchased approximately 4 bundles of hair from Perfect Locks, in March of 2019, so that I could have microbraids installed. The hair was received in a timely manner which was a plus. The hair came in plastic coverings which were stuffed in a velvet purple bag.

Another plus was that the hair had a pleasant smell to it and looked clean. However, each bundle seemed to be different in texture (One bundle seemed to be a higher quality than the rest. The other three also had different tags on them which was odd).

Well, I decided to keep the hair in spite of that flaw because it still looked and smelled pretty good to use. I had the hair installed in October. My hair dresser became curious about how much I paid for the hair and after I told her she proceeded to tell me that the hair was not worth what I paid for it because it was more of a “blend” than it was “real” human hair (I understood her to mean that the majority of the hair was fake).

Well of course, I was upset about this news but she was half way done with my hair so I let her continue and the hair style looked absolutely beautiful when she was done. Just a little about myself….

I like to keep my microbraids in for a longgggg time and I am able to re-braid them myself. I usually wash my microbraids maybe once or twice a week depending on how nasty my hair has gotten. I have beyond shoulder length hair so I get microbraids to have a break from the high maintenance my hair requires but I have to manage this hair more than I did my own hair.

I have used several brands of human hair in the past but this hair has been the worst to maintain by far. After washing the hair, it took me hours to untangle and remove pulls and frizzes from the braids.

Once all this was done, the hair looked as good as it did when it was first installed. This hair is extremely high maintenance. You WILL have to wash and condition it 2 or 3 times a week to prevent stiffness and tangles.

You WILL be re-doing your microbraids (with this hair) at least once a week due to pulls and tangles. You CANNOT wash this hair as it hangs. I eventually learned that this hair has to be braided in sections (I usually do sections of fours) and then washed to prevent major tangles.

In my opinion, this hair would probably make a great wig or other hair extension project (which is one of the reasons for the stars given in this rating) but for microbraids…NOOOO…. unless your gonna just keep them in for a 2 wks to a month! There are other cheaper brands of hair that are quality (“real” human hair) and will perform better for microbraids…trust me!.

I use 3 packs of the 27 at a time. I usually keep it in for a month because my scalp is sensitive, but if it wasn’t for that I would do 1. 5- 2 months. Because this is synthetic hair I always do a 15min vinegar and water wash (for sensitive scalps) to remove any chemicals before adding the hair to my head.

This hair can get wet. Since I work out a lot I will wash my scalp (ensuring the shampoo is only massaging my scalp and not the hair) while the hair is still in and let it air dry. I have swam in it.

To take care of it I will rinse it with water and trim it over time (once a week or every 2wks). Any who, it’s my favorite.

I really love this hair. It is the best I have ever used. The texture feels natural to my hair. The only problem I have with Ebony is they are always out of TT27. It seems like a lot of people buy this color.

You would think they would keep this in stock at all times. Ebony, please, please get more of TT27 and keep it stock. This hair is great.

It very happy the color of red is like clown red and not deep like the picture. It cost me 12 to send back in the box it came in and receive no refund for that. I also ask for an exchange on the color and it wasn’t given and I only got a portion of my money back.

So I would not be ordering from this company anymore for false advertising and not supply back a complete refund to something that wasn’t right and for making the consumer having to pay for returning the items that doesn’t come in the time they claim I’ll stick with amazon :unamused:

The hair was in perfect condition and was exactly what I was looking for at an amazing price! It also came 2 days before originally projected!

This is the second time this site has let me order something that they “could not get from the manufacture”. What post something as available when it’s not! Why charge my card before confirming you have the product.

My hair appointments was based on the availability of this product. I am not interested in your alternate recommendations of a different color. If I’d wanted that as an option it would have been a 2nd choice.

This hair is absolutely terrible. The texture is dry and brittle and it sheds like crazy. Pretty sure it’s not a hundred percent human hair either. Milky Way bulk is way better super soft to the touch and doesn’t shed.

They sold out of the Milky Way so had to buy The Saga. Not going to even use the rest of the hair throwing it straight in the garbage.

The hair was really nice! I ordered two bags I may should have ordered 3 bags. After wearing the hair a little longer I will come back on and give you another review but thanks soo much

I read a review from Loretta D. stating she had to use runbberbands to keep the hair in. That is an issue with your braider, not the hair. The hair is great quality and my braider is amazing. I have had my hair in for 6 months.

I wash it and it is still very nice. I have new growth so i am getting them taken out next week. But the hair has been through several rains, washes, ponytails, buns, and sleeping on and it’s still in good excellent quality.

It doesnt look knotted or anything.

I have been using this type of hair to braid my hair for a while now. I am quite happy with the results. My stylist does a great job, and i’m always receiving compliments. Furthermore, it holds up well in between washes and keeps the curls intact and still looks fresh.

I really like this hair its tangle free no shedding works great in hot water easy to braid or crochet. I always buy this brand of hair all the time. I do notice that each bundle of hair in thinner than it use to be so you need more i always buy more than I needed to be safe.

Its still at a very good price. It cost 60% more in the beauty supply stores in my town. I would buy it again!.

I had to cut it in half per the client’s request for the hair length and it started to shed (which is normal and expected). I guess if I never cut it, it would’ve been perfect. Overall it’s a great choice for braiding, I only use EZ Braid and I’m never disappointed!.

Not suitable for natural hair. wanted hair to braid a goddess braid to go around my own natural hair. That hair is too straight for our natural texture, it needs to blend in so the contrast is not that obvious.

We need to produce hair that matches our natural textures, so when it is utilized it blends well. The hair purchased was a waste of my money. I will give it away or throw it out.

i love this hair. It lasts, seems easy to install, minimal tangling or frizz. I have had this hair installed 3 times this year and I get so many compliments. Definitely a good buy!

Love it! Very little frizzing easy to install curls 4 1/2 packs are plenty for my smallish head lol, last forever very little matting, very little maintenance, put a bonnet on it at night gently separate it a little with your hands, in the morning and you’re on your way, great price super fast delivery!.

The hair was very soft and the packaging was new. This was my first time using this brand of hair but I will definitely purchase it again because of how light it is on my head. I am currently wearing shoulder-length two-strand twists and it is is not heavy at all.

My only complaint is that the purple ombre is lighter in color than what I was expecting, so I probably won’t order the purple again. However, I will definitely order the 1B again. I am pleased with it and would recommend to others.

Lightweight hair! Favorite to braid with. I recommend for people with curlier hair to braid with this. If you are blow drying your hair before braiding than stick with straight kanekalon

I experimented with other Marley braid hair and this is my favorite, even over more expensive brands. It’s a perfect texture match for my c4 hair. I keep a supply at home so I’m ever caught unprepared.
