Best Hair For Green Eyes (2024 Updated)

Absolute garbage hype beast brand. Just a disclaimer, I don’t think I purchased both of my bottles at Ulta, but I did the Violet Dream for sure, and I’ve used them twice in combo now, and I can say with absolute certainty that I will never be buying Arctic Fox again and will try to steer anyone clear that I can.

Save your money, other brands are far better. Even Manic Panic with it’s eternal staining and bleeding will at least actually stick to hair and Ulta carries them. And to be clear: I followed all the instructions.

I was careful that my hair was freshly washed, no conditioner or product whatsoever, dry obviously. I used more dye than necessary just to be safe, wrapped the dyed sections in foil and then bag heat processed the whole shebang.

The end result: I’ve got sections of purple from the Girls Night Out and Violet Dream combo I just applied, I’ve got the old faded green sections from a much better brand in random spots, and one side took completely differently despite being treated the same way so I’ve got one mostly purple streak with green here and there, and one slightly purple, slightly green with some awesome sections with no dye.

Oh yes that’s right. I had sections where the old dye had faded so completely that it was back to platinum blonde. Guess which parts it didn’t stick to? Yeah. Those bits. Bleached but healed platinum blonde.

Covered some sections of green just fine, but apparently a blank slate is a bridge too far for this brand. And yes, they were definitely covered in dye; I went overboard because my first attempt using this brand was laughable results-wise.

Turns out, that’s just how this brand do. I have no idea where all these people that worship this brand are coming from. Are they wearing wigs, is it dyed with another brand? Because there’s no way they’re using this stuff.

It barely sticks to hair, so how are these people getting full, evenly dyed bright hair huh? Super sus.

I am absolutely in love with this semi- permanent hair dye. I did have dark hair and had to lighten it first bc I wanted bright color and not just a tint of color, and I did use the Arctic Fox bleach kit which I will review next.

To get this gorgeous candy apple red color I mixed the colors Poison and Wrath. First off the first thing that I noticed that was different from regular box dye that I used to use all the time is that the Arctic Fox hair dye does not have harsh chemical fumes.

I used to hate when my eyes would burn from the strong fumes from the box dye. The Arctic Fox hair dye doesn’t smell like chemicals at all, instead has a grape candy smell to it which smells so good and leaves your hair smelling good for days after.

This dye was very easy to apply and is very very pigmented. It will stain so be careful with getting it on your skin or clothes. I put some conditioner around my hairline and it didn’t stain my skin whatsoever.

Also it rinsed out very easily and left my hair feeling so so soft even though I had bleached it the night before. With box dye my hair used to feel so dry and look so dull after rinsing the color out.

But with Arctic Fox my hair looked so shiny and felt so smooth and soft, and the color is absolutely stunning. This is def going to be my go to hair dye for a long time bc it was such an enjoyable experience and the results are better than I imagined.

Plus it didn’t stain my tub, it did leave it a little slippery bc of all the conditioning agents but otherwise so so good.

Ive been using Punky Colour Purple for years, and it was my absolutely favorite color. I’ve never felt more like myself than when I have freshly dyed hair in this shade. I’ve read a lot of reviews of this dye that complain it doesn’t quite turn out a true purple, which isn’t wrong, but it was my go-to product to get the particular intense vibrant pinkish-purple I was looking for.

I’ve tried a lot of other purple and pink dyes (and combos thereof), but Punky Colour Purple was the only one that delivered the sort of electric fuchsia shade I loved so much. I took a break from this product recently to use up some odds and ends of old dye, and when I finally reordered my beloved Purple, I was excited to get back to my perfect shade.

I noticed that the packaging was different, and the dye looked a little darker than I was used to, but I trusted that the product I’d relied on for so long wouldn’t let me down. I applied this dye over somewhat faded pink hair, as I usually do, and left it on for several hours, as I usually do.

But when I rinsed it out, instead of my favorite shade of bright purple-pink, what I have now is a gross burgundy color that’s so dark it’s almost black at the ends. It’s staining purple on my hands, so I know there’s some purple in there somewhere, but what I’ve got on my head is not at all what I’m used to from this product.

Maybe it’s a reaction with the other dye that I used previously, but I’ve applied Punky Colour on top of a lot of other products and it’s never looked like this. My best guess is that this dye was reformulated, but if so, the new product is much worse than the old one.

Not only am I deeply disappointed with how my hair turned out, I’m really heartbroken that I’ve apparently lost my favorite dye. I don’t like the results I got this time around, but they’ll fade soon enough.

Unfortunately, now I have to go on the hunt for another dye that will look half as nice as Punky Color Purple used.

I had my hair bleached and dyed at the Ulta salon specifically asking for a purple that matched Punky Colours Violet shade so I can touch it up myself between bleaching. This was back in Jan of 2021 and I’ve been using that same shade ever since, I had gotten so many jars of this stuff and would touch it up every so often.

My hair was my favorite part of looking in the mirror until Halloween when it started fading again, I got one of the jars of violet just before Oct 31st so it can be the bright purple I loved and even matched my costume to.

In the jar, it looked pretty normal to me so I slapped it on and I noticed some spots that weren’t fully saturated had a blue hue, I thought “Violet is supposed to be a blue purple so they must’ve added more blue to it” which wasn’t a biggie I like blue, thought it might look even better so I didn’t mind.

That was until I started rinsing out my hair and it only ran blue, it stained my entire tub. Don’t get me wrong, the old formula would stick too but one go over with Clorox bleach and it would disappear but with this blue, it would not budge.

It’s almost Christmas now and it still hasn’t after scrubbing my whole shower on a weekly basis. Halloween wasn’t ruined tho, it didn’t clash much with my costume because it was more black with a tint than anything.

I let my hair fade as much as it could before I tried their Plum shade and since it didn’t completely fade, it kinda evened it out to the original Violet shade I wanted. I just wish they would’ve put something on the label saying there was a formula change, then I could’ve chose another color or blamed myself.

this review is based on my experience with Cherry on Top. I have put every single dye brand available in every beauty supply and grocery store on my head. I chose to try this one recently because I want a dye with a similar longevity and toughness as Splat, as well as the container being re-sealable.

I was specifically looking for a dye that would last a month-two months and not fade because of heat styling. I have also settled on a hair colour and realized that red-pink is my jam, so I’m no longer blowing through colours and don’t NEED it to come out every month.

this dye has been perfect for my needs, but for others I can see this giving y’all trouble which is probably why this dye has a lower rating. first of all, to my seasoned dye veterans and anyone who is going to buy this dye DILUTE.

IT. I understand diluting usually leads to a lesser colour pay off or the colour being too light. I understand the instructions say “Do Not Dilute!” but TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS DYE IS WAY OVERLY CRAZY PIGMENTED UNLIKE ANY OTHER!!!! I used a Cake Beauty mask and a spoonful of it in an ion bowl and it was still a little bit too much! CUT THE FORMULA WITH SOMETHING I am begging you! or it will stain your skin and tub and bleed more than it has to, which is all totally fixable but a pain in the behind to do so.

trust me the colour payoff will be the same as just slathering it on your head raw! second of all if you want a low commitment dye that will fade out in the shower quickly because you have to be attending your uncle’s niece’s dog’s baby shower in three weeks and you want to not be blue-purple-green-red-whatever-headed THIS IS NOT IT! It is in my experience colour oopsable and bleachable to get it out but it will not just calmly go into the night with no effort (AKA the shower drain), this dye will probably barely even fade the first four weeks of washes.

Use something more forgiving on your kids or yourself like Arctic Fox!! it doesn’t need diluted unless you want pastels, it won’t hardly bleed or stain. no it won’t last as long but it is easier to deal with and if you don’t want it to last then perfect! third of all do not EVER put any kind of dye on your head UNLESS you are ready for your hair to be permanently changed!!! once dye is on your head irregardless of the brand irregardless of it being “semi” it is no longer virgin! semi permanent is still partially permanent and on top of that you never know how much your hair will like and cling to a formula so even Arctic Fox known for being forgiving can still hug your hair for dear life! TDLR; I would highly recommend this dye to anyone who wants a good long lasting fashion colour and knows what they’re doing from self dyeing experience.

I would not recommend this dye to a beginner, to someone who changes colours like a girl changes clothes (thank you Katy Perry) or to any parent who isn’t ready for their kid to, surprise, not be a professional hair stylist and get it everywhere! this stuff is AMAZING!! So I have been on the grey silver hair trend (well trying to get there at least) lol and the stuff is a lifesaver! I couldn’t get the darn brass out of my hair and it was driving me crazy! tried almost everything! My last option was toning but after all the bleaching I didn’t want to use chemicals.

this saved my life and turned my pale yellow to a beautiful silver after one wash with a little bit in my shampoo! then I shadow tried with it full strength! no brass slightly profile like I wanted (only in the sun and thats because I left it on as little longer to achieve the purple silver look).

I also used it on my son because w bleached his mohawk twice but was still orange like really orange! one freaking wash with a purple shampoo I made with this (a little stronger than the one I made for my hair since his was so orange) and we got a beautiful silver!! I’m 1 wash!! no more expensive purple shampoo for me baby! I got one bottle and have made 3 batches of purple shampoo, shadow ripped my hair fill strength 4 times and still have over half a bottle left! My go to and will always keep it stocked in my house!! totally recommend if having title getting brass out or arrived orange after bleaching and don’t want to bleach again!.

Perfect semi permanent hair dye. This is the 3rd colour I’ve used of this brand and put the dye over faded blue and purple split dye. The blue side went purple and over the purple it went the same colour as the bottle.

The best hair dye I’ve ever used. East to apply. I have a lot of hair. I went through a bottle and a bit just because I wanted to make sure I covered the blue. Love the smell. Love how easy it is to wash out and off skin.

It’s obviously gonna fade after a few washes. Normally lasts about 10 washes for me but I have rather damaged hair so that’s to be expected. Recommend this to everyone.

I absolutely love this! It’s the first time I’ve ever tried this brand. I’m actually pretty impressed. First of all the color is beautiful, bright red. It’s easy to use as you don’t need developer. I have damaged, over processed hair from bleaching and dying my hair purple constantly.

It covered my faded purple very nicely and is lasting a long time. Also it wasn’t strong chemically smelling like others and made my hair really soft. I’m definitely buying this again!.

During the warmer months I enjoy brightening my dull look by getting highlights done. Going from my natural dark brown locks to a nice light blonde can be a long process. My hair can get these yellowish tones to it where I need a toning product in between salon visits.

I have tried several different purple shampoos and other leave in toner sprays to combat the brassiness but they have either dried my hair out or didn’t work as I had hoped. After trying Matrix’s Total Results, So Silver Toning Spray I was immediately impressed with its multiple benefits.

This toning spray is the best I have ever used not only because it tones and neutralizes the unwanted yellow in my highlights but because this product also protects and cares for my hair. I mean that. It’s been a while since my last salon visit, and my naturally dark hair was highlighted but recently it had started to develop an orangey-red hue from sun & UV exposure, and reminded me of Neapolitan ice cream with all the colors in it.

This saved my hair. I was DREADING having to dye it brown again or spending hundreds of dollars on a new blonde service. So I decided to try this. The bad reviews I read stated that it made the hair much darker & covered more than color corrected, which is what I wanted – my natural icy brown hair back.

The Dark Envy mask 100% delivered my desired results. If I can figure out how to add photos, then I will! To be fair, I did not follow the instructions and just sectioned my dry hair then applied it with a brush as with hair dye (while wearing gloves – this product WILL stain) then clipped it back & let it sit for 15 minutes.

I washed it out with Brass Off shampoo, then reapplied the mask to the length of my wet hair and waited five minutes, rinsed then dried my hair. It is very cool toned, as the product starts out dark green then develops into a deep indigo blue, and some of my previously lighter pieces do have a blue-ish cast to them as a result but I expect it to lessen with a couple washes.

This can be a con for some, if you have very light or bright highlights and want to keep them then this is not the product for you – I’d suggest the Brass Off correcting mask instead. Overall, I am super happy with the results! Will repurchase when my bottle is empty.

This is my #firstimpression of their Shampoo, Conditioner, and Reviving Leave In Treatment. I used this the first time with no additional products. Usually I use two additional leave in treatments after towel drying my hair, and a hair oil once dry.

I wanted to evaluate these products on their own. The products had a faint clean scent that I liked. The shampoo has a creamy lather which I enjoyed; I am not a fan of a non-lathering shampoo. The conditioner states to use a quarter-sized amount, I used a little more than that and so happy to report that it allowed me to run my fingers through my wet hair while still in the shower to detangle! I need my conditioner to do that in order to give it a high rating.

Once towel dried I was able to brush through my hair without having tangles so that was nice, and after applying the leave in, my brush slipped through my hair just as easy. After drying, my hair felt extremely soft and not weighed down.

Overall, I was delighted by all of the products and how they performed. In the future would I repurchase, Yes! Adding to my Ulta favorites NOW!. My hair profile (it’s all mine, no extensions 😃) it’s been colored and bleached for over 20 years, so I probably have abused my hair just a little over the years; hence, why it’s so dry and I need very moisturizing hair products or I can’t get a comb through it.

I’ve been dying my hair for about 33 years. other brands always left my hair brittle, dried out and stripped. the color didn’t make much sense either, no matter how “natural” I tried to look. I was convinced the only thing to do was stop dying my hair and go “naturally gray”.

Well after 9 months of not dying my hair. there wasn’t a whole lot of “gray” to get excited about. it just looked mousy and non descript. and worst of all. juat made me look older. I didn’t think I had anything to lose so I tried NaturColor in Mullein Blonde.

so close to my childhood hair color. I was so pleasantly surprized. Not only was the color perfect and natural looking, the product itself actually nourished my hair and made it so soft and shiny. I will NEVER stop using this product.

Used this brand for a few years now. Lasts a month or two, even with my regular swimming. The creme with it seems to soften my hair. The more popular (or commonly stocked brand) natural product left my hair like straw.

This lighter color 6D is much better for me than the darker 5N I was using. But 6D isn’t carried in my local health food stores, so I am thrilled Vitamin Shoppe is carrying it. I need only 20ml of mixed to cover my grey streaks (and they are fully grey on both sides of face and crown).

I squeeze it onto the glove, and mush it into my hair. That way I don’t have to scrub it into my scalp. However, I’ve had ZERO trouble with sensations. I’m super sensitive to chemicals, and this causes no problems for me.

Buying from Vitamin Shoppe went easily. Free shipping. Arrived promptly and in good condition. I bought my prior color, and this one. Decided to keep only this color, and the return at local store of the other took only a moment, back to my card.

I would consider this product to be more like a pink version of virgin snow. I understand tints and light hair dyes work best on platinum hair, BUT, I felt it was advertised more as a fully saturated dye.

It’s my fault that I didn’t look into it more, I assumed it would be thicker and more pigmented. I love manic panic and figured I’d give it a try after 10 years and I gave my hair some time to heal. However, even the fully platinum parts of my hair were just slightly tinted after using two bottles.

From my experience the dye hardly absorbed into my hair I even left it on a bit longer than instructed. I wish it had been advertised more as a pastel toner gel, I’m sad to be writing this review. It’s not a bad product, it just wasn’t as advertised.

Like I said it’s more like virgin snow than a full color, I suggest that they make some adjustments on the sample pictures and description. If you’re looking to SLIGHTLY tint platinum blonde hair to a pastel light neon pink color, then this is for you.

If you’re looking for full saturation, I’d go with one of their darker colors. It really was like a thin gel and hardly stuck to my hair, I understand the less blonde parts not being fully colored, but it was disappointing to have such an underwhelming effect on my super blonde sections.

My hair was left feeling soft, looking healthy and shiny so no complaints there, awesome formula, disappointing color. hopefully I have better luck with a deeper pink.

I bought one bottle each of Rockabilly Blue and Vampire Red. I was going for a dark reddish purple. Mixed about 3/4 red and 1/4 blue. Applied, let sit for an hour. Despite the fact that I used only 1/4 of the blue in my mix it was what stained my hands (through the gloves!), sink (where I washed the mixing bowl) and my whole shower.

I was shocked but honestly I don’t care much about it being stained so I shrugged and on we go. Just a bit unfortunate that my whole shower floor is blue and my porcelain sink is as well. The color however turned out beautiful.

I dyed over my natural dark brown hair and it made it slightly darker but a lovely rich purple/red. Exactly what I wanted. It does bleed really badly and will stain any white/light towels, sheets, hair bands/etc you might have.

Now here’s where something weird comes in. since I dyed it a week ago, every day I get my hair wet in the shower it smells AWFUL. Like, I immediately thought it smelled like a Porta-John. I even asked my husband the last few days to smell my wet hair and confirm that’s what is smelling so bad and yes, it’s my hair! It’s so strange.

I tried googling to see if anyone else has had the same problem but couldn’t find anything so maybe it’s just me? I’m giving it three stars because my hair looks and feels great, but I’ll probably never use it again due to the excessive staining/bleeding and the weird smell.

I have never been so impressed with a dark hair dye in my life. I bought the juniper green and used it to dye a chunk of my hair. The texture of the dye itself is very thick, and therefore less likely to drip and splatter.

It smells fantastic, almost like something you would find in an apothecary. I had previously made the mistake of using splat and completely ruining the bathtub, but this dye took maybe a minute before the water ran clear, and what few stains were left behind came out effortlessly with a magic eraser.

Despite the lack of sticking or transferring of dye to skin, this looks FANTASTIC. The color is vibrant and absolutely gorgeous (photos of the dye itself on the website are very accurate), and while I’ve only just done it I’m eager to see how long this lasts.

Not only that, but I used this on freshly-bleached hair and the dye itself made it feel softer and look less damaged. Stunning, impressive, I can’t even begin to dream of going back. Absolutely stellar product.

This is probably one of the worst hair dyes I’ve ever used. I mixed it with the Blue Velvet because I wanted a slightly more blue shade. It came out a little dark and more purple, but that would have been fine if it didn’t get absolutely everywhere.

I dyed my hair back in August and the dye still stains everything. If anything touches my hair, it will stain. And whenever I wash my hair, which is only every couple of weeks because I have naturally coily and damaged hair, more dye comes out.

I rinse until the water becomes clear and it will still stain something later. Up until like a week ago, my fingers still turned blue when I scratched my head. And the worst part is that when I straighted the front of my hair, some of the dye must have come off because some strands turned blonde again.

I still have a full container left because I did a 1:1 ratio with the blue velvet, and I don’t know what I’m going to do with it. The only reason I gave two stars was because the color was pretty.

Dude this is the best and most coverage hair dye I’ve ever used! Even for its size, when I had shoulder length hair hardly even used a full container, now I use 1/3 for my short hair. I tried Arctic Fox before I learned about this and the color would wash out first wash! I have used Lunar Tides over a year now and I’m AMAZED at how long the color holds.

I have naturally thick dark brown hair so to use a product I can put right over without bleaching first is a key thing. Plus it softens my hair and smells good. I’ve used black, blue, green, pink, orange from them so far and I love the way my hair looks and feels and the fading of colors doesn’t look ew either.

I bought them for my 9 year old niece since she’s wanted extensions for a while. The colors were gorgeous and it came with a big variety of them too! They were good quality clip-ins for what they are and they are perfect even to add color and fun to your own hair once in a while!.

Maybe I dont know what Im doing but this was really hard to clip into hair and would not stay in. Not that big of a deal since it was purchased for a Halloween costume for a 1st grader.

I love manic panic in general. Have been using it since I was a freshman in High School and living in Brooklyn. The colors are always vibrant, don’t wash out TOO easily, unless you really want them gone, and easy to apply and saturate well.

I’m 28 now and decided that I really wanted a neon green money piece this summer. My money piece turned a little into a thick money stack, but I love it nonetheless. The color is super vibrant against my platinum blonde hair.

I have gotten numerous compliments on my green hair from young AND old, EVERY single day that I left my house. It was very easy to use this electric lizard semi permanent dye and it saturated my hair evenly.

I was a little worried with how small the jar is but so far I’ve dyed my hair 2 times and I still have 3/5 of them jar left. If I were to do my entire head I would probably need to use the entire jar, however, with the longevity of this color, I think it’s worth the price tag.

If I really wanted to strip my hair of this color, it wouldn’t be too hard to do either. Another cool thing my husband and I just realized last night after I installed new light changing bulbs in our bedroom is that if you have a blue bulb, your hair will glow! Super neat! All in all, I highly recommend Manic Panic, in essentially any color, if you’re looking to spice up your hair for a temp time!.

It works really well as a toner for bright blonde hair. My brightest strands were pretty spot on to what the image shows but most of my hair that was a bit darker dyed to a cool toned blonde. Which was very pretty.

It was almost grey but had more dimension bc of the purple tone. I went to the beach a week later and it washed out almost immediately- luckily my hair was short enough that I saved half of the tub for after.

Would recommend a strand test on each part of your hair(if your hair has different tones). Only negative was that it was very drying for my hair even after leave-in-conditioner. I have 3A curls and fine textured hair.

So this is my first time dying my hair a “non-traditional” color. I went to a salon and I’m following all the rules with washing in only cold, etc. I purchased Overtones conditioner to help maintain my color longer.

After using it just once, I went to my salon for a root touch up and my hair stylist couldn’t believe how vibrant my hair color still was. I’ve been using it since and I love the color results. However, with the good is also some bad.

The Overtones conditioner dries my hair out really really bad. I have to soak my hair with leave in conditioner to comb it out and it still takes me at least 30 minutes. A task that normally takes me 10 minutes.

If you fix that, it will be perfect!.

I gave the product 3 stars for 3 reasons #1: it smells great, #2: it did leave my hair soft, and #3 it does help a little with color but not as much as I thought it would. I have colored my hair many different colors for many years, and I had been dying to try this product.

I finally thought I would give it a shot, purchased extreme green. I used it and was not impressed. I will not be buying this product again. I have better results mixing part conditioner with part hair dye when I shower.

I used this product 3 different ways. First time I did it on clean hair, dampened it, then applied product to all hair strands (saturate well), and allowed it to remain 15 minutes. Rinsed hair, and was able to see no difference, no vibrancy.

Next I tried applying it as regular conditioner when I wash my hair, like stated before I have been using vibrant colors for years, and many different brands and types, so I specifically use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, and wash hair 2 times a week only.

So when it came time to wash hair, I used sulfate free shampoo, and then used this product as my conditioner instead of my normal conditioner, allowed it to rest for 10 minutes, rinsed out. When hair dried (naturally) I saw hair remained the same, did not fade.

Which I translate as the overtone product helped to maintain my color the same shade it already was. Last I tried using it on dry hair, I covered every single hair strand using a applicator brush, and allowed it to stay on my hair for 30 minutes.

It did make my hair SUPER soft, it SMELLED amazing, but color wise it did not refresh as much as I expected. From pictures on IG it appears people use the product and the color becomes SUPER refreshed, sometimes even becomes a different brighter shade.

Mine however did not do such things. It really remained the same. It did not fade, however it did not refresh my color. I expected more from it, specially because the times I used on wet hair I applied it with bare hands, and my hands would get super tainted with the color.

I am glad I tried the product, but like stated before I will not be purchasing it in the future.

Originally when I picked the color off the lime crime website it looked more like a tan neutral almost with subtle hints of peach close to nude color, and then when it arrived and the I swatched it – it was so far from what it looked like on the website? Hence why I usually don’t like purchasing make up mostly “lipsticks” online.

However, I was extremely surprised how beautiful it was with little to no make up on and just very light mascara and lashes and how beautiful it went with my pale skin it wasn’t too dark and it wasn’t too late it’s the perfect shade for any occasion.

I wouldn’t say it’s a nude color, I guess it could be placed in the nude category but I’ve found it had more hues of browns grays purples almost like a very dry it out purple with subtle and when I say subtle I mean very subtle hints of pinks and peaches and just all sorts of colors that I can’t quite point my finger on may be a little bit of a gray but mix those all together and you get this beautiful cashmere color that goes on smooth! I love that it’s a liquid lipstick aka VELVETINE matte (so I know it won’t be coming off on my teeth, clothes, drinks or even when I’m eating greasy foods – THIS HAS STAYED PUT!) I’ll even go as far as saying it lasted one very long passionate date night with my husband 🙊🙈😂 (insert blushing emoji here)  This was actually my second time purchasing this shade, and I would definitely purchase it again and again! Limecrime has great sales from time to time so make sure to look out for that! I think they’ve rebranded their website at showing the exact color on different skin tones and even have multiple lips pictured so you have a better idea how it will look, from when it was just the same pair of lips that was always pictured in every shade! I recommend any of limecrime’s liquid velvetines as they are soft on the lips and go on very smoothly.

I first tried mystic on my dark/medium blonde hair, unbleached. It definitely came out like a teal, which I would normally be fine with, but it was a very green leaning teal. Most, if not all, blondes do not want green hair.

I hated it, but I somewhat expected it since blue+yellow=green. The next day I got blue smoke and put it over the weird teal-ish mystic and it was amazing. It ended up being a gorgeous royal smoky blue, exactly what I wanted.

It started fading, as expected, and I wanted just a really quick refresh so I used the mystic again for maybe 20 minutes, figuring there was no way it would turn green again since I was putting blue on top of blue.

It turned green again. Somehow, even more green than before. I have a lot of art experience and for the life of me, I can’t figure out how blue+blue=green. I genuinely thought the green tones wouldn’t show up on top of such a deep blue.

Now I’m mixing pony with blue smoke because I’m so scared of any sort of green tones showing up in my hair. It honestly has caused me so much anxiety and stress, which I have enough of without having green hair.

All of that being said, this formula is phenomenal. It smells good and is so creamy and easy to use. I used to have issues with my most bottom layer against my neck getting so knotted and I had to brush my hair multiple times a day to keep it from matting.

After using this, I haven’t had to brush it more than once in the morning and once before sleeping. My hair came out so shiny and healthy. I’ll definitely be stick with this brand, even if only a few of the colors.

Oh my god, I love this stuff so much. I used the jello color for the first time a few months ago. Bleached the ends of my hair til they were a brassy dirty blonde color (natural dark dark dark brown hair) and used gradually less bleach as I worked my way, hoping to get like an ombre type thing.

Anyway, I left the jello color in for about an hour and it was so beautiful! bright green at the ends getting gradually darker all the way up my head. It didn’t do much to the parts i got to a medium brown color, but it’s a vegan dye so i kinda expected that.

There were splotches on the tub but I immediately sprayed them with oxiclean and they came right up. It faded gradually to a pretty light green. Didn’t turn blue like a bunch of other green dyes. After a few months of the light green I switched things up getting the meadow color and I am in love!!! Left it in for 2 hours this time.

really rich beautiful almost emerald green on the bleached parts and it even tinted the unbleached roots of my hair. It has a slight blue ish shine to it but not too much. I am so happy with how it turned out.

If this has the same staying power as the jello color, I won’t have to redo it for over a month (2-3 showers per week). It doesn’t bleed onto furniture or sheets as far as i’ve noticed. Water doesn’t run clean in the shower for a really long time, but I don’t know of an “unnatural” hair color dye where the water DOES run clear for quite awhile.

I tried this on my sons hair, he’s 4 and was really wanting his hair colored blue. We picked this brand because it was aluminum free paraben free and vegan. It also said it lasted 30 washes. I applied it to his hair, it smelled amazing nice a fruity.

They color went on so bright. It looked so bright like it was very pigmented. It said to wait 15-30 minutes. We waited the whole 30 minutes because he was playing and got into what he was playing with.

When I rinsed it out we were so disappointed it didn’t stick any color at all in his hair only his skin was blue and stained. He was so upset with it.

I love punky! It is the first time I dyed my hair an unusual color and I was nervous I would mess it up at home alone. It is an incredibly easy product to use. The color is really vibrant even my my brown hair.

The color lasts a long time. The product smells great and makes my hair feel really soft and silky after the first wash or two. The only complaint with especially this color is that it is very hard to get off of skin and your bathroom fixtures so beware of that.

Also it is long lasting which is great but blue/green/aqua (the punky colors I’ve used) are all a bit harder to get out of your hair once you dye them in. So it has taken quite a while to pull it out without additional chemicals.

But if you prep for that it’s really more of a bonus than anything. I have really long curly hair and it covered everything great with no need for a second jar. Great product!.

WOW 💜 This product isn’t playing! This photo is 3 days after I used Punky to dye my hair purple. Now, this is something you should use on previously lightened hair. The lighter your hair, the better this product will work.

The bottom half of my hair was blonde and the top half was light brown. this was my result. This product is great to mix colors and have fun. I mixed this with Manic Panic Alien Grey and it gave me the results in the second picture.

Ive always used LaRiche ever since I discovered them over 10 years ago so I can wholeheartedly recommend the brand. But each colour has its own pigment problems. Unfortunately yellow dyes dont stick well and Sunflower is no exception.

Luckily I have very short hair so the tub lasts me for months (you dont have to use it all in one go you can save it for up to 3 months after you open it). But I will have to keep topping up the colour every week or so.

But the colour is glorious! And the quality is the usual LaRiche standard so buy with confidence.

I bought the colour Ebony and never has any other hair dye, black or another colour. stainer so much as this did. The floor of my shower is completely blue, and so is my back. So be aware of that. My hair is black, so it did work.

The undertone is not the best and some spots look a bit greenish. I had light pink hair before applying Ebony. However, I have used pinks and oranges from Directions before, and those were good for the price and fade nicely.

But again, there are better options.

I tried a lot of La Riche shades while I was bleaching. They are well pigmented, cheap, have a great selection and would be a good choice if you want more than one colour in your hair. White toner: I didn’t think this really did anything unfortunately and I would have always gone for silver toner Silver toner: was amazinb to lighten to white or beyond to silver etc.

Even though it always looked a bit scary as a bog tub of navy blue. Daffodil: a great bright yellow shade that lasted about 2 weeks before it just looked like brassy blond. This was the colour I always found washed out quickest.

Flamimgo: a lovely pink colour that I usually watered down with conditioner to get a pastel shade which would usually last a month before needing topping up. Carnation pink: this one was a good shade too, though I found it lasted longer than flamingo.

Neon Blue: this was a very dark blue, I didn’t like this as it gave my hair a shiny/cheap wig look unfortunately. It took about 3 months to fade into a nice pastel that i did like- and that was without using any colour protection.

It also wouldn’t fade completely as a semi permanent so I ended up having to grow and cut it out.

I’m allergic to ingredients in chemical dye and have been using henna and indigo for my black hair for many years. The henna frequently left an orange color and the indigo’s black faded with just a few washes.

Somehow the Khadi prep (henna) turned my hair a reddish tone and the black left a beautiful dark brown lasting color. The prep also did not have as strong a smell as the other henna products. The best part is that both products did not take as long as others to work.

I left the prep in for about 2 hours (other henna products 4 hours) and the indigo black for 2 hours (other indigo products 8 hours) and the result is better. I’m very happy with this company’s product.

I love the consistency of this hair dye, it’s not too liquid and not too solid. It smells neutral and is easy to mix and apply. After using it my hair looked very shiny so it’s definitely moisturizing for the hair.

However the colour is not the same as it looks on the package and the swatch. I added a bit of black to mine to make it darker but that didn’t do much. When I washed it after it had been sitting on my hair for the recommended time it looked like a dark burgundy red, it faded a lot with each wash, after a while it turned bright purple.

I actually quite like the colour even though it was not what I was intentionally going for. I do want to warn you: it stains very bad! It looked like a murder scene in my shower, my body turned literally purple.

It did go a away after using regular shower gel but just keep in mind that it can get pretty messy!.

OK so I ordered this product again because although its not a dramatic change it does look nice as a subtle toner. Doesn’t last long and gotta plaster at least half the bottle onto damp shampood hair and leave it in for hours but I’m happy with the result.

Worth it if u just want to take out brassiness without harsh chemicals and obviously it’s great cz it’s vegan. And super fast and free delivery too!.

This is my favourite crazy colour dye. Crazy colour is my favourite semi permanent out of all that I had tried. Its very good value for money and I find that the dye lasts quite a while in your hair.

It will fade pretty soon but it’s not so dramatic that you constantly need to touch up your hair. I’m a lazy dyer so this is the product for me. My hair always feels soft after using this, especially when it previously has been bleached.

I usually have long thick hair and use 2 to 4 bottles depending on length but that is still very affordable in comparison to many others because it comes to only about £20. My hair is currently down to I’d say the middle of my chest and I use 1 and a half bottles.

The only problem is the green can stain your hair and if you don’t know how to fix it (using the right toners for the colour issue) you can destroy your hair trying to get it out. This stained my hair and I tried a million awful ways to get it out of my hair and destroyed it in the process.

I’d have appreciated a warning with this type of colour, as I’d dyed my hair most colours under the sun, even a different type of green, without this happening.

Good product with remarkable fragrance. Better and effective for male and even female can also use it. Because it has little power but mind refreshing. Hope that my review will help someone else. Must try.

Although this color does contain ammonia it is formulated to have a low ammonia content which I love. Another positive to this color is when mixed with Paul Mitchell Clear Developers a little bit goes a long way.

You can get excellent saturation with what feels like less product used which is excellent for product management, profits, and your clients pockets (and I am sure they appreciate that as well). You can achieve a couple of levels of lift with any shade in this color line using a 20 vol or higher developer or use it as a deposit only toner with 5 vol developer.

I feel like this color line is so versatile.

I don’t particularly love this product. I used it once after lightening to a level 10, I used the pink. it turned very very NEON pink, when i was wanting more of a bubblegum pink. I went home and as soon as I washed my hair the color washed out.
