Got this for Christmas. As a former service member I have learned the art of doing my own hair for as long as I can remember. This was a nice surprise till I tried it out. The charging time is ridiculous.

Not an even cut at all. Charge were out half way through. On the low settings it butchers your hair. Bald in some spots and no cut at all in others. Around the ears ? Ha ! No. Learn to use normal clippers.

Better results with a little practice.

Well, I am disappointed that the larger curved clip is not ridged and stiff because it doesn’t hold all the hair in place: it is extremely pliable! However, the small blue clip clamps and stays closed tight even while gliding the clip through all the clasped hair.

The built in level on each of the clips are a useless addition. Therefore, I purposefully removed the level from the blue one: the level was inoperable to begin with for the fact that it had no liquid inside.

Needless to say, I only kept the smaller blue clip.

I have a fine, long, straight, and delicate hair. I am taking care of my hair by combing it slowly, especially when it is wet. I seldom go to the Beauty Salon, so money is not an issue. The reason is, because I don’t really like the way most Hair Cutters handle my hair.

They were in a hurry to comb my hair before and after haircut and blow dry at a high setting while pulling and styling my hair with round brush. These were causing damaged to my fine hair. I trimmed my hair right away the day I received the Crea Clips.

Great product! I still need to figure out how to use it properly, that’s why I said it isn’t easy to use. I think once I get the hang of it, it’ll be second nature. It’s a great product though especially with this shelter-in-place order.

We can’t go to salons and barber shops since they are all closed. This is a great guide. If you’re not a hairstylist or barber, use this product. Again, it might not be the exact style you’d want, but it’ll get you through that awkward stage of hair growth.

These are definitely not a toy! I’ve owned many sets of clippers over the years, but these Wahl Sterling 4 series are genuinely a professional grade device. To begin with, the blades themselves are SERIOUSLY sharp, far beyond anything I initially expected which resulted in a “first time use” mishap that left my face with a small cut that I would normally have associated with use of a safety razor.

Paying careful attention to holding them at the proper angle as described and outlined in the instructions booklet is thus extremely important (such directions in this case are not included merely for those that have never used electric clippers before, but relevant beyond the usual information about simple care and maintenance).

As for their quality, once again I must reiterate the fact they are indeed very much “professional grade” which is noticeable from the moment you first lift them from their packaging. There is a slight “kick” when powering them on, but this is indicative of the power of their proprietary motor, and even my wiry old beard offers zero resistance to their cutting capability.

Operating them feels exceptionally smooth and comfortable. They do not “tug” or bind up as cheaper units do if pushed too quickly, and when used correctly [see previous statement about actually reading directions] will just glide over both head and facial hair barely leaving the faintest of stubble in their wake.

Though I have not made use of the length cutting guides; being one who trims himself down to skin, their quality is also nonetheless quite apparent through visual inspection – however I do recall seeing even higher grade ones (metal I think) available in all manner of sizes from Wahl themselves and various third party vendors.

If treated with diligent care and respect, this clipper set should last a personal user or small family for a lifetime, at worst requiring a blades replacement at some point in the distant future. For a professional barber, I cannot truly say, but I am certain there is a good reason why this brand is so popular with them: “reliability” springs rapidly to mind, in addition to how effective they are, not to mention the comfortable ease with which they settle in the hand during extended usage.

I can safely state that these have rapidly become one of my “prized possessions” not only among personal grooming accessories, but indeed all of my small household appliances.

I am pleased with how sharp and precise the Whal Sterling 4 professional hair clippers are. It is comfortable to use and saves a lot of time. I have 2 autistic boys and they struggle with hair cuts but they only had to sit for a couple of minutes, this was beneficial because I could make it look nice before they started to have enough.

These have been my go to clippers since I graduated cosmo school. They are way quieter, and the blade are generally just sharper for a cleaner cut. Good price for being full size clippers.

I rarely write reviews for products but felt this particular item deserved one. Upon opening the package I was immediately impressed by the product design and packaging. Everything felt high quality and professional.

The clippers came already charged so that was a big plus. I am by no means a barber , but using the cut buddy was very simple. The included diagrams also made learning how to use it very straightforward.

At first I thought this was too good to be true but this thing actually came with 34 pieces. I am a beginner in cutting my hair and I also have to trim my 3 years olds hair. These items are perfect for a beginner.

I liked how they included a nail grooming kit too! The clipper and trimmer charge with USB but they actually last a long time. Easy to clean and hold. My wife loves the detangle brush for showers. Everything fits easy in the travel bag included.

All these reviews are saying how great this trimmer is but mine barely even cut!! These things f’n terrible. I’m confused how they can have such good reviews and suck so bad. I have the little green Phillips norelco that work 10x better than this thing.

I’m a licensed hairdresser and I’ve only used Wahl trimmers. They are the best quality and the customer service is great! They truly care and back their products.

I really enjoy using this product. I’m a novice, and this kit makes it really easy to cut my hair. It comes with full proof guards for the clippers and oil to keep the blades fresh so they don’t wear.

I’ll eventually upgrade to a more sophisticated product as my skills improve, but, for now, this set works great. I would definitely recommend it to someone who wants to start cutting their own hair or just refresh their cut in-between hair appointments.

P. S. This is my 3rd set of clippers. I wore out the other two to the point where they didn’t work anymore, they were so worn out. That’s how much I LOVE using this product!.

My boyfriend bought these for me to cut his hair. It was an awful experience to say the least. It took nearly 30 minutes to cut his hair because it kept clogging up. The biggest problem was that the teeth were breaking off while I was using it and it scratched up his head and neck.

So upset with this product that we threw it away immediately. Cheap and painful.

I know a lot of people are saying it’s a store brand and to get Wahl. Apparently people are not taking the time to read the box, because it is a Wahl brand product. This is essentially their economy hair clipper set.

So with that being said, don’t expect the same kind of power from this product. Having said that, this is the best product considering the price. I’ve tried it a few times, it works fine. It has a good amount of sizes and is good for basic haircuts.

I received the Conair Number Cut 20 piece kit free to test. This kit is the perfect option for a family or even for pets. The kit comes with 10 combs to choose from depending on the length you want and you can adjust the taper control as well.

I believe you have 5 setting to choose from. What I really like is that the blades are self sharpening. I’ve had several other kits that were nice but over time, the blades did become dull after about a year.

This kit certainly seems to be higher quality than others in the same price range. For those that have not cut hair before, you can’t mess things up with this kit. The instructions are straightforward and the trimmer itself has each comb’s length as a quick guide.

I haven’t been to the barber shop ln years. I’ve been cutting my own hair for years now. I cut my friends, family, and my own kid’s hair. ( Not women hair). These clippers are decent for the price point.

“Zero” cuts very close and clean which I appreciate alot. The attachments are all colored so it’s very easy to switch. I will say, when I first opened the package and took it apart to clean and oil it.

During the first use it pulled my hairs. I feel like the pieces have to get worn in alittle because after the 3rd/4th time cutting hair, it didn’t do this anymore. My friend also got a kit and he had a very similar issue.

The only other complaint I could see is that the material the housing of the clipper is made of attracts the hair. Similar to a static kind of feel, the hairs stick to the clippers and it’s hard to brush them all off to keep it clean.

All in all, it is a great affordable kit. Although it feels lite weight and cheap, I feel like it I got my money’s worth.

The ShortCut Pro Self-Haircut kit changes everything with my shaving routine! It’s easy to use and easy to clean, and incredibly quick! What used to take me up to an hour with simple shaving razors now takes me only up to 20 minutes at most! The charging time seemed long, but the shaving time was so quick, so waiting isn’t an issue.

The price should have told me this would not hold up to more than 1 hair cut. One of the clips broke after the second section of hair. The scissors are stiff and need major adjusting. The comb snagged hair, so I used my own.

Make sure you get the cape snug around your neck and you’ll stay pretty dry. I also used the cape for my makeup to protect my clothes. It’s not long but it’s wide enough. I’m thinking if you have thick hair you will need more than the 2 clips provided.

I got this because, like most people during the pandemic, my hair was getting really long. This was the first time I cut my hair and used clippers. Right off the bat these are comfortable to hold and very lightweight, but feels sturdy at the same time.

Comes with a bunch of different lengths. Definitely easier if you know what lengths you normally have done. Blending was easily done, just switch out the lengths. I didn’t notice missed hairs when buzzing.

I get a comfortable, smooth, close cut. I love that I can see much better now when cleaning up my neck area. The foil shave attachment is a bonus! I also love that this has many length and style attachment options.

Used for the first time recently. Comparing to my old corded Wahl (with all metal construction), this one does feel a bit flimsy. The silver part on the main body keeps lifting up, which I have to keep pushing back in.

It feels like 50/50 plastic/metal construction. However, it cuts very well. The clips are very snug and it does not snag my hair while cutting. This one is a lot quieter than my old Wahl, so that’s a plus.

It comes with an organization case, which helps keep me from losing things. I do like that it’s cordless. Makes it much easier to cut mine and other people’s hair.

The larger hair trimmer works great for haircuts, with more attachments than I can count. But since the packaging showed a man with a beard, and there’s a smaller trimmer included, I presumed it was also good for trimming beards.

Unfortunately, the many attachments don’t fit the small trimmer, and the big trimmer is too clunky to effectively sculpt my beard. So despite the relatively high price tag and the big bundle of attachments, it doesn’t provide a good option for beards.

I have a Mohawk and have been cutting my own hair weekly for two years now with no previous experience. I recently purchased this wahl clipper because the clipper I had before (also wahl professional) had been over-oiled and I kind of wrecked it by accident being such a noob.

In this clipper set there are proper oiling instructions so that I can’t ruin them. A+ for that feature alone! I had tried a home clipper by wahl (not professional grade) and I didn’t feel it got as close on the 0 setting and the housing was lighter plastic so it would vibrate so much I couldn’t properly see what I was doing.

The blades were also wider and it made it difficult to get close enough to my hair line for a proper cut. I like my sides very very short and this gets the job done with no snagging and honestly less vibration than the home cut clippers and a more narrow blade set.

Heavier since they are professional but these are great clippers even if you’re just a metal chick with a Mohawk and not a barber.

Outstanding hair clippers! I love my new Wahl Pro Series!!! Soooo much better than my other cheap clippers! I own a HC-60 Remington and HC408R Conair, both of which I “thought” were good clippers. They do a decent enough job cutting, but take FOREVER to get done.

I cut my hair about every 3 – 4 months (so not too long of hair) using the 1/2″, 3/8″, and 1/4″ clips and it ALWAYS took 30 – 40 minutes to get done (plus I was always constantly stopping to dig cut hair out of the clips, which also made time take too long).

With my Wahl Pro Series, hair cutting has become a joyful breeze, taking 15 minutes – MAX!!! They cut smooth, quick, and clean. Such a HUGE upgrade over the other clippers I’ve used! I can’t stress this enough, they are such great quality (in my opinion), and fast cutting.

I have been using L’Oreal Elseve Hair conditioner regularly for a few months. I never really used any product so lovingly and for a long time. It was a product that I love and feel good while continuing to grow my hair.

I rub it into my wet hair every day Softer, shiny and non-puffy hair, moreover, my split ends were reduced with this product. It is very important to use it regularly. 😍. It contains vitamins, keratin and castor oil.

It is really true that they say that it will save even the last 3 cm of your hair. I owe all my hair to this product. It is suitable for all hair types and also does not lubricate the hair. It has a nice smell.

It has a structure between cream and gel. It moisturizes and nourishes hair.

I love these products, I have four boys and I cut there hair I am not good at it but I do cut there hair at a 2 or 3 and attemp to fade it. It does help alot with the different clips and the machines are great.

My boys hair are so think they do mess up the blades on the machines but I do like the self sharpening blades. I do trust this product and recommend. I really liked the peanut. Also I do u to basically shave my face so it does good.

The Wahl Home Cut Combo offers a simple set of hair clippers and trimmer. The package also features several guards to adjust the length or height of the hair being cut. I was impressed with the easy packaging and pleased with the inclusion of a small fabric pouch used to hold the items included in the package.

Both products worked extremely well out of the box the the construction quality is quite robust. My only gripe with the product would be the lack of AA batteries, perhaps in the next iteration of the product, a rechargeable battery pack could be introduced to spare the inconvenience of using disposable batteries.

This setup coupled with my new self cut system was great and affordable. The clippers and trimmers work excellent and are very good quality for this extremely good price. I cut my own hair the very first time using these and even though I took my time these clippers didnt overheat or malfunction once during the entire two hours self teaching session.

Uppercut products are choice. Top of the line, hands down. I’ve loved everything I’ve purchased from the brand. The deluxe pomade is no different. I use almost daily. Washes out and easily restyled. Competitively priced, although it’s worth whatever they decide to charge.

Plus, they stuck a free can of a new product I’ve never tried before in with my last purchase. Great company. Great products. Great service.

Great product! The pomade has a nice firm hold and last for the entire day. This was just what I was looking for in a pomade: clean, strong, firm hold for my hair with some sheen to it. Excellent product.

I have a traditional haircut, part to the side, and normal straight hair. Pomade keeps my hair looking sharp and well groomed throughout the day. I am very satisfied with the product and recommend it for use on a daily basis.

As soon as I started using Uppercuts Delux Pomade, I realised I will never be using another hair ‘gell’ product other than theirs ever. Don’t know how many years it’s been now but still feel the same.

The clipper is all plastic. I thought it might be part metal. It is quiet and vibrates a little more than I was expecting. The metal blades seem good and sharp but I wondered if the motor speed was a bit under powered.

You need to take your time with these clippers, no rush, which is as it should be, so not for professionals. It gets quite warm after 10 minutes. A strange noise happened from time to time as if something wasn’t quite right inside, but it didn’t affect performance.

Will keep an eye on that. I’ve only used it once, and it’ll probably only get used two or three times within a year, so a two year guarantee is good. Attachments are of good quality and the cut is very decent.

Nice long power cord. Not sure of the value at full price.

I found the Phillips 3000 a great hair clipper. It can be used to cut hair but also to trim your stubble or beard. I have sensitive skin that is prone to redness and irritation when using actual disposable shaving blades and I have had a few problems in the past with acne, sometimes worsened by shaving.

So a few years ago I decided I’m going to drop using shaving blades/razors and use a hair clipper once a week and grow a little bit of stubble. I like to go for a shaver with brilliant blades on it that don’t cause as much irritation and I found this shaver brilliant for that.

I didn’t find any irritation or pulling on my hair or skin while trimming my stubble with this clipper. You can easily change the settings on the shaver from settings 1 – 4mm by moving the switch at the side and it comes with 4 click on sizes from 3mm to 12mm.

It is an overall very well made shaver and you can tell the quality while you’re holding it. I actually like that it is a plug in razor and not a rechargeable one and the lead is a great length. The blades and click on ones are very easily cleaned with the brush provided and its great that it comes with a bottle of oil to use every couple of months on the blades to ensure quality while shaving.

Overall I have had a great experience with this razor and I will continue to use it, especially as I want to use something that causes as little irritation to my skin as it can on my skin and I haven’t suffered any redness or irritation from this product yet which is great.

I would definitely recommend it.

I have been cutting my husband and two young sons hair at home for a while now and was excited to try out these clippers to see how well they performed and I have to say I am not disappointed. They come with everything you need to give a great haircut including a variety of different length comb attachments so you will find the ideal one for the length of hair you require and it even comes with the bonus of having a pair of scissors included too so i can neaten up around the ears or any parts I am not wanting to use the clippers on.

The length of cable is really good so i can move around easily whilst cutting. Using the clippers themselves was a pleasant experience with them gliding and cutting through the hair smoothly and with no issues at all.

The handle has good grip to it so its not sliding out of your hand whilst your using it. I like to try and give any negative points I find in my reviews but honestly with these I am struggling maybe throw in a pair of thinning out scissors too and you will never need to visit a hairdressers again.

I have even been told how good the boys hair looks after using them and people thought they had been to a hairdressers high praise indeed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these to anyone they are fantastic and do a great job.

I have been cutting my husbands hair ever since we started dating and it was finally time to buy new clippers. I looked online and these were rated as the best overall without having to spend $$$, they are probably the worst clippers I have ever used.

My husband has hair more on the finer side but is usually easy to get a good cut. Not with these, I used them twice, and even after the first use, I noticed how many hairs it missed and how uneven it cut, even with guards on.

I am now having to buy new ones less than 2 months later. Don’t waste your money.

I just use the main trimmer for basic shaves a couple times a week. Replacing my last one that lasted about 5 years. I’m ok with just knocking some hair off every few days and don’t worry too much about razor shaving.

Surprised the included plastic clothes protection apron doesn’t have holes in it so remember to ditch it it you have children as it’s a suffocation hazard. All the accessories are too much for me but good if your trying to do trims for a start up haircut gig.

Depending on what type of hairstyle you prefer, these might just be perfect for you; I prefer fades/blends so this review is focused on my experience performing those. If you follow Youtube guides using these very clippers you will do a good job (after 3+ attempts) – not barbershop quality but, honestly, no one has called me out on the jobs I’ve done on my own hair.

I have absolutely no issues with the clippers/hardware but it’s the guards that prevent me from giving this a 5-star review. The guards don’t come in 1/2 sizes between 1 and 2 so you cannot create the seamless blend easily.

You will either have to stretch your scalp skin or be daring and skillfully use no guards. If not, you will see a faint line where any fade (or any transition point) should occur and it will irk you.

Another knock is that the trimmers are not sharp or powerful enough to create a crisp lineup. I would suggest getting a quality trimmer if you are chasing perfection. Overall, if you are not chasing perfection then with this package you will give yourself a decent haircut; you won’t look barber-shop fresh but looking like I’m about 4-5 days from a barbershop haircut meets my needs (and has saved me hundreds!!).

Used the Multi-Cut Corded Hair Clipper for trimming beard and general hair cutting on top of head. First of all, everything came packaged very securely in a nice plastic carry case (more about this later).

The trimmer itself is a good size and fits easily into my med-large sized male hands. It was quiet, but seemed very powerful. Didn’t seem to snag or pull when cutting. Did have to make a few passes on the top, but that could have been my fault for not combing my hair first.

Where this clipper really shines is the included combs. Unlike most clippers with cheap one-piece plastic combs, these include plastic combs with a metal ‘clip. ‘ When attaching to the clipper these metal clips snap in piece and hold them very securely.

I don’t think these will break like others I’ve used. Lastly, the plastic case was nice, but some kind of storage/organizing system inside would make this truly useful. Overall, I’d highly recommend these clippers for home use.

Well seeing how they don’t seem to have all the hair color options. I used one like this, not the one in the box from Walmart. I liked but it did seem to stay long, whenever I put dark brown in my hair it just absorbs everything in site and turns black.

This one on the other hand did not it gave me the exact color I got! It was like a dark golden brown. Not really what I was expecting because as I said my hair doesn’t cooperate, other than that I do run the flat iron over my hair like every day.

Of course that contributed to the color fading but I still think it faded faster than any other color I’ve used. All in all not terrible (aka box color😉) buuuttt also not sure if I’d recommend it.
