20 Best Gum For Weight Loss (2023 Updated)

Love this gum! I have not bought or chewed gum for over twenty years, thinking it was all kinds of toxic. A friend gave me a couple purs recently,and I was hooked. Yes, the flavour doesn’t last…but I remember gum flavour didn’t last as a kid…double bubble, doublemint, chicklets, trident-all of them.

They must put extra chemicals in gum now to keep the flavour going.

Love it , I am using Run Gum in place of drinking high calorie caffeinated drinks. I make sure I always have Run Gum with me. I chew 2 Run Gum in morning shortly after I get out of bed , than in the afternoon and on the way home from work.

The drive home from work is very long, Run Gum gives that extra bust to stay alert on my drive. The previous listed times are when i used to drink a high calorie caffeinated drinks every day. I feel better without all the additional calories.

Than sometimes I have to work a double shift unexpectedly so I always make sure I have Run Gum on me to get me through the extra time on the clock. I am so glad I found Run Gum.

This is difficult, because I love and use the gum, but the price is hard to swallow. I use the subscription which is roughly $54 a month for 3 boxes. BubbleGum, Cinnamon, and Wintergreen. My favorite is the Extra, but it costs even more.

I usually chew a piece before my training, and one after. My wife also chews it. My issue is I get caffeine pills 100 a bottle for 200mg pills for 3 bottles at around $10-$15 they last forever. Big price difference, and you can split them so you only get 100mg.

One reason I keep getting run gum is because it does kick in quite a bit faster. The taste isn’t really bad. I’ve found buying the same flavor of regular gum and chewing it at the same time helps the texture and flavor.

If not it just loses flavor quickly, and falls apart especially when working out. All in all I’m in positive opinion of the gum. I just hope they go back to customer love instead of this marketing over load crap they are doing.

Plus only showing love to runners and crossfitters, when there is such a large community of health fitness, and sports. You’d think they would try marketing towards all of it. Oh well. Good product.

I’ve tried caffeinating for my runs in a bunch of different ways, and frankly, unlike coffee and other caffeinated beverages, this one doesn’t wreak havoc with your stomach and leave you running for the bathroom instead of the hills.

The jolt is just enough to light up the afterburners and shave some time off your run, but not so much that your HR monitor is off the charts, or worse, keeping you up all night. I know caffeine is caffeine, but I just feel as though this is a good, balanced product.

The act of chewing it while warming up (I chew it about 5-10 minutes before I run) also just seems to focus me. So while this gum is a little pricey (especially since I chew two tablets at a time – the entire pouch), it’s worth it.

I do save these for my “workout runs,” though – not so much for my easy miles. Not worth burning the resources. But definitely a great product here.

I started buying this and the original flavor years ago. But they have added aspartmine, sucralose, and other artificial flavors that will destroy those with intestinal problems, and aren’t good for anyone.

The xiylitol is good. I wish they would go back to just that and stevia, saccharin. Cannot in good conscious buy it anymore.

I drive for a living and find myself getting sleepy behind the wheel occasionally. I’m not sure if it’s “mind over matter”, but I do believe it really helps me. I haven’t tried the mints, but I prefer the gum because it lasts longer, and the flavor doesn’t fade out.

I love this product. The flavor is spot on with some of the bigger gum brands out there, but it packs a punch with the added caffeine kick, as well as with how long the flavor lasts! Definitely recommend trying it out!.

Tastes great and keeps it flavor 10x longer than other caffeine gum I’ve tried. Doesn’t leave you jittery either. Definitely will be my go to caffeine source. 10/10 would recommend.

My experience with run gum is great, I took about one and that was enough to fuel me for about 1-2 hours (remember that was for me maybe different for others). I really love the taste of it, just like having regular gum after the hard part but it will help you for whatever whether it is a workout or just to get through the day this product really works.

Run Gum brings the quick caffeine clarity that I need faster than anything else can. Coffee is fine but takes a while to prepare in comparison to just popping open a gum packet, plus coffee can cause dehydration and upset sensitive stomachs.

I’ve had many a work day saved by Run Gum helping push me through the temptation of a post-lunch nap and pump some life back into me if I’m dragging after a hard workout. The flavors are fine to me, but if you it isn’t the tastiest piece of gum you’ve ever had then who cares? **** it up and chew away for 10 minutes to get those stimulants in your system, then spit it out (if you so wish) and move on with rocking at life.

I mean c’mon, a freaking Olympian created it for personal use before turning it into a company. Does your previous favorite gum have an epic back story like that?.

Saw this product on Instagram and was instantly intrigued. As a distance runner with GI issues calling for a low sugar, low carb diet, this product is perfect. I use it on my long runs and haven’t experienced any GI issues.

It does take a little while to take effect, I usually start to feel more energized around mile 2-3 on my runs, which for me is good because I like to warm up at a slower pace. The only improvement that I would like to see would be a softer gum.

It’s a little harder than I like, but this in no way will deter me from using it. Love run gum and you will too!.

I’ve tried many flavours of Excel and they are all pretty good including this peppermint sugar-free version. If you have not yet tried this, the only downside would be that it leaves a very grainy texture in your mouth and the flavour does not last very long.

Overall I would say it’s a pretty generic gum product. .

Great price for a good tasting gum. The flavour lasts a long time unlike other gums. I find that my breathe smells so much better afterwards. Good product overall.

It tried mint flavor excel gum. It really helps to freshen breath, the flavor is fresh and instant. However the mint flavor isn’t long-lasting. #samplesource

They just ruined another perfect product. I can deal with less menthol which is half the amount in the new look new formula package, but what’s up with all the extra added coloring fd&c blue 1, red 40 and yellow 5 and why use tartrazine?? Leaves a bad after taste and tastes different.

Can no longer use them anymore old formula was perfect.

This is THE BEST chewing gum EVER!!! I will never understand why this particular flavor is no longer stocked in all stores. and only available in bulk?! It has a Long Lasting Flavor and I am never without it.

This has been my favorite gum since I was a kid. I love the cinnamon flavor! It’s super cheap and you can find it in any store. Greatest gum ever! These new flavors can’t come close to the old flavors.

Great product for a great price. Anyone with an oral fixation would appreciate it as it doesn’t melt from staying too long in your mouth, it doesn’t have any sugars or calories, and it’s a bit tough to chew.

On top of that, each piece of gum is so big that I just split them in half, doubling their numbers.

It’s kind of stiff when you first put it in your mouth, but it softens up over time. Although I love the lack of sugary sweetness, it may not please those who are used to super soft and highly flavored gums.

I give it full stars because I don’t know of another gum that tastes so mild and natural.

The gum itself fulfilled its role perfectly, as a tough, chewy gum, very good for that. also tasted good in my opinion. of a great quality, I would happily pay double for this product.

~This should be the new craze so we need to start it if it is not already! This has NO ASPARTAME in it. It is difficult to find gum these days that are not sugar free. Aspartame gives me migraines so it is a no go.

When I sit at my desk working all day I chew gum so I don’t eat a bunch of stuff when I’m not hungry. I have a drawer full of gum. I was searching Amazon for something new and found which is amazing! It explains that other gums contain plastic! Yuck! It’s funny because the gum is not in sticks or squares like we are used to, but rather, things that look like hamster or rabbit food pellets.

They are not wrapped. The box itself has a ingenious built in pocket that holds tissue paper with which you would politely and environmentally soundly discard your gum. It’s also kind to your neighbor so they don’t step in it.

You know what I mean. 🙂 Anyway, there are so many flavors and they are all delicious! You gotta try it!.

I like this gum because there’s no rubber in it. It’s real gum from the tree. The flavor is not quite as strong, which is fine. (I prefer cinnamon) You also MUST wrap it something when you’re finished chewing.

I threw out my car window. It got stuck to the car, clothes, etc. Tough to get out of material.

I have been through many packs of this gum in many different flavors. While it is a bit earthy, it really does seem to be soothing to the stomach. It’s not going to cure any ills but it is definitely great to chew when you are hungry and it lasts for about an hour before it’s time to toss it.

It’s not too sugary and one of my favorites. I like the mint flavor too but this is my favorite. Again, it’s earthy and tastes like real ginger so it’s guilt free.

Bubblegum so out all of the flavors they had this one was my favorite. I would have give them a better review had the flavor lasted longer. I finished this gum within a day. I was extremely disappointed.

I go through my gum phase I tend to try out different ones. I have reactions to certain gums as well. This gum I didn’t have a reaction to so I was excited to try it. It’s Sugar Free , Soy Free, and Nut Free.

My only wish is the flavor lasted longer.

🍬Yummy spearmint gum I found online IN bulk!! It is aspartame FREE!! 🙌 That matters to me!! That stuff gives me headaches!!! I love the bold flavor! It lasts a long time. 🍬 The packaging is travel friendly! It comes in a reasonable plastic bag!! 😃 I can keep one in the car- one in my bag- one for hubby’s luggage- one for my son.

It does not break the bank. Yummy gum just makes you happy! It is the simple things in life! 😆.

I looked for gum that didn’t have aspartame and found it in one of the smaller market stores. I checked Vitacost and they carry it in a bulk package. It has such a clean minty taste that is so refreshing after eating or just as a pick me up on the road or running errands, etc.

It’s nice to know that this product is out there as a better option to the aspartame laden junk that you see on store shelves.

This has been my go to gum for as long as I remember. I simply love the quantity you get in one package and since each gum piece is big I usually break it in two and only chew half a piece at a time.

The package usually lasts me for months! The taste is always excellent and lasts for a while.

I LOVED 5 speariment gum. I was a DEDICATED customer but somewhere within the last year or so they changed the recipe. The flavor is now more of a wintergreen. If I wanted wintergreen I’d buy THAT flavor.

I’ve called and written to the company but they say nothing has changed. That’s BUNK. I sneeze when I have wintergreen or peppermint which is another reason I don’t like this new change. PLEASE change it back.

I love 5 Gum. It’s a very intense minty flavor and the flavor lasts longer when chewing compared to other gum brands I’ve tried. I would recommend trying this gum brand over others if you want the flavor to last longer.

has the most peppermint flavor that is long-lasting, not sticky, and sugar-free. It is instant, once a stick is placed in your mouth and that first chew is a bust of freshness and all your senses are intensified and awake.

The scent of fresh peppermint is noticed if you standing next to someone and talking in regular conversation. People do notice the fresh scent. The long lasting freshness is not compared to other gums or candy.

I love 5 Gum peppermint Cobalt gum. The flavor is just right, it’s not too strong and is still very flavorful, its just really good. Plus, its nice and soft to chew so, its easy on my jaw. I keep a pack with me for after meals or before kissing my husband.

I’ve been married 13 year’s and carrying mint gum is a good way to guarantee pleasant kisses. I appreciate that it’s sugar free so, guilt free. The pack fits in my pocket easily or my purse. I highly recommend 5 Gum peppermint Cobalt if you want flavor that is just right and not overpowering but almost savory.

I love this gum. The flavors last longer than other gum like orbit and winter fresh. I literally wouldn’t chew gum if its not this kind. The taste stays for a long time. This is worth the deal. I save money buying it online.

I lose money if I buy packs separately from a corner store. I always have a pack on me when I go out. I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t have the best breath. This makes your mouth smell refreshing.
