20 Best Gucci Perfume For Men (2023 Updated)

I started with a sample, and I liked it enough that when I ran out I bought a 1. 7oz bottle. I’m not sure if I will buy another when I run out though. This fragrance comes across very leathery to me.

The cedar is strong, the patchouli is there but blends well. The orange blossom and lavender work well together to add a nice touch, but the base notes are almost a bit too loud to let these notes shine as much as I would like.

The bottle is gorgeous, all glass (if yours has a plastic top, it’s probably counterfeit), and like on other Gucci perfumes, the atomizer works well providing a nice, even spray.

Recently, I was given the Gucci Cologne to review. Firstly, I want to disclose how frequently I use cologne and my previous experience with cologne. My go to cologne is Preferred Stock which I use for dates with my wife and for social gatherings.

I do not wear it for work since I am a nurse. I work alongside populations that can be sensitive to colognes/perfumes. I prefer the Gucci brand to the preferred stock. The scent is sweeter, and it lasts much longer.

However, the price point is a huge deterrent coming in at $77 for 1. 6 oz. The Preferred Stock only comes in around $14 for 2. 5 oz container, but the scent does not last as long as the Gucci brand. I enjoyed the Gucci cologne for the long lasting and subtle, sweet scent.

However, the price point for Preferred Stock is better for my situation, and I usually do not need a long-acting scent. Not only that, but my wife also liked the Preferred stock BETTER over the Gucci cologne.

Therefore, I would advise to carefully weigh the preferences of your significant other before cashing out $77 for this cologne. Cale.

I received a sample of this from Influenster and had my husband try it out. Here are my thoughts along with his. We both loved the scent of this cologne, it’s very clean and would be great for everything from a day in the office to a night out.

A little bit goes a long way and the scent carries pretty far! The first time my husband wore it, I was upstairs in the bedroom with the door closed and he was downstairs. As soon as I opened that bedroom door, I could smell it! Another thing I liked about it is that the scent does have staying power.

Often times with perfume/cologne, I smell it for a little while and then it is just gone, with this one, I would get whiffs of it throughout the day. The scent wasn’t as powerful as the day went on but the fact that it was still there a few hours later was very impressive! Overall, I am very pleased with this product and I now understand the high price tag, a little goes a long way and you really don’t need to reapply through the day!.

I wear fragrances daily and I’m very partial to fougères, aromatics, and amber/woody/spicy ones, so trying Gucci Guilty Black was very exciting because I’m always on the lookout for a good ‘green’ fragrance.

At first spray, the top notes of lavender and coriander are readily apparent, a very soft, well blended, and fresh opening. It gradually transitions to the middle notes after a short while, the neroli and orange blossom starting to creep it’s way through.

Patchouli is present throughout but it doesn’t hit you in the face like a ton of bricks like Puig Quorum. I smell a bit of lavender and there’s a hint of sweetness and spiciness after the drydown at least on my skin.

Performance is middle of the road. It lasted about five or so hours on me, turning into a skin scent around the two hour mark. Sillage is moderate depending on how much you spray. It isn’t cloying with two sprays, one behind each ear, but that’s really the maximum I’d recommend.

My only complaint with this cologne regard the small noticeable bursts of syntheticness that occasionally break through. If you’ve tried out some of the more niche fragrance house offerings, you’ll find this to be a huge dealbreaker.

Another thing to consider is that the fragrance seems to skew more towards mid-20’s to 30 year old crowd. Younger folks might be able to pull it off, but the versatility and wearable occasions drop off significantly.

I feel it’s a safe blind buy if you’re just starting out with fragrances, you’re looking to try out the different aromatic fougères out there, or you’ve tried some of the other Gucci Guilty fragrances.

Skin chemistry is different for everyone though, so it’s highly recommended to sample first if you’ve tried similar ‘green’ fragrances and have had bad experiences. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate this a solid 7 due to versatility.

I can see myself wearing this throughout most seasons, except I’d go light on the sprays during Summer. It’s inoffensive, true to it’s note breakdown, and smells very clean. I’d buy it based off the sample I received.

It has a scent profile that’s simple and powerful enough to take some of the guesswork out of what you want to wear when it comes to fougères.

Gucci Guilty Absolute by @gucci is a Amber Woody fragrance for men. Gucci Guilty Absolute was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is @morillas. alberto. Top note is Leather; middle notes are Cypress and Patchouli; base notes are Woody Notes and Vetiver,according to Fragrantica.

You might not instantly recognise this is the work of Alberto Morillas as it is far from it’s s traditional creations. GGA is half way between a linear scent, and an evolutionary fragrance leaded by leather, followed by patchouli and finished by a woody/vetiver scent.

Upon first spray, you get a balanced mix of medicinal iodine and smoke, which overpowers any other notes. After about 2-3minutes, that initial blast becomes distinctly heavy leathery. The “woody notes” remind me of the smell of a charred oak barrel.

Shortly after, some fresher nuances start to appear, courtesy of vetiver and cypress. Guilty Absolute basically smells the same way throughout it’s duration. I do get some patchouli further in the drydown, but it’s not really as prominent as “three forms of patchouli oils” would have had me expect.

It lends a bit of earthiness, but it’s not spicy, chocolaty, or minty, just a bit dirty. Gucci Guilty Absolute will become a cult favorite (if it isn’t already). I have had friends smell my bottle of GGA, and most actively recoil in disgust.

This isn’t really marketable to the “10 second sniff in fragrances department store” crowd. This is a niche scent in designer clothing (similarities to Kilian Dark Lord are strong), it’s what Indiana Jones would smell like.

Longevity it’s great 10+h with heavy projection and silage about 4h at arm length,best suited for colder weather.

I love this set for many reasons. First the scents themselves are amazing and you get three 30ml bottles which is the perfect size for a first purchase of a fragrance. The first in the set is gucci bloom.

This is a tuberose and jasmine based fragrance with a green opening. There’s a soft sweetness coming from the rangoon creeper which is similar to honeysuckle. It’s soft enough for day time and less heady than a lot of tubereuse scents.

This is my favorite out of the set because it has the strongest white flower scent and I love the simplicity of it. Second we got acqua di fiori which is very different from the original. The green notes are amped up and I dont smell any tuberose.

There’s are some aquatic notes and some sweetness coming from actual honeysuckle this time. It’s an eau de toilette so it’s lighter. It smells like a lush garden on a pond. Last but not least is nettare di fiori.

This one retains more of the floral aspect of the original and is less heady and a deeper floral with the addition of rose and patchouli. You also get three sweet flowers osmanthus, honeysuckle and rangoon creeper.

There is none of the characteristic greenest of bloom here. The name nectar just like with acqua is well chosen here. It as if a beautiful mixed bouquet of flowers got drizzled in a bit of honey.

So here?s what I think of it when I first tried it out I honestly hated it so bad it reminded me of what an old grandma would smell like if she picked a perfume and was going on a night out to the theater.

I thought to myself who were Gucci putting this on the market for? cause young women would not be interested in this ! It came off way too floral and not in a cute young way. I also thought to myself even old women like to look, smell and feel young this is just a big no for me BUT BUT cause I wanted to make sure this was how I felt about it and my mind wasn?t going to change I wore it everyday for almost about a full week and I began to love it, it truly grew on me but you can?t spray a lot only the lightest slightest bit gives off such a sweet sexy scent ! To be honest the first day I received this in the mail I let my husband smell it and he actually loved it which I couldn?t understand for the life of me why at first till I too started to love it.

This definitely isn?t one of my most favorite scents but I truly like it A-LOT and will be wearing it from now on. I possibly will buy more when I?m done with my sample. I do recommend this to everyone and I do recommend only using one spray it?s very strong and will linger all day so remember one spray is plenty and you?ll love it!.

I’m horrible at describing the different notes and accords of a perfume. My nose isn’t developed enough to really distinguish the different combination of scents. But, I’m very picky about my fragrances and always have a very strong opinion, even if I can’t explain the specific scent that leads to that opinion.

So, what I can say about Gucci Guilty is that I love it! It’s a grown up, sophisticated scent that is professional and feminine. There’s also something a bit old world about it, something universally pleasing about it that crosses decades and generations.

It’s not a very adventurous fragrance, which makes it perfect for every day. My one criticism is that I wish it lasted a bit longer. It has mostly faded from my skin within 3-4 hours. I fix that by spraying it on my hair or a bit on my clothing, where it lasts much longer.

So much longer that I was able to smell it on mug jacket days later. This is really a lovely fragrance, and I hope to purchase the full size bottle.

Wow this EDT smells amazing! I normally do not like anything that has patchouli in it because it tends to be overpowering. But this one took me off guard by how amazing it smells. It’s very sexy yet masculine too.

The lavender, lemon and patchouli just blends together so well. Not over powering at all. I highly recommend this one. 10 out of 10!!.

This fragrance has been around since 2011 but seems more popular than ever now. This is a very safe and clean scent. It’s not too strong or too weak, it’s clean and masculine without being cloying. It does last all day but it’s projection becomes more intimate.

I think this is a great gift fragrance and very work appropriate because of its mass appeal and gentleness. It isn’t too heavy for summer and is more of a daytime scent for me. I see a man from 25-35 wearing this for a day date or daily to work.
