20 Best Gua Sha Oil For Acne Prone Skin (2023 Updated)

I bought this during 21 Days of Beauty, and so glad I did. I really like to use facial rollers to help with depuffing, but I really wanted something cool. There are no facial rollers that have built in ice cubes, and the ice rollers that are for your face don’t roll! So this was a perfect middle.

I was skeptical about the coolness, especially during summer, but every time I reach for this it’s cool on my skin, stays cool during my routine, and I think I’m noticing some improved depuffing compared to my rose quartz facial roller and gua sha (though I love them too).

Plus it’s a bit heavier in the hand so I feel it’s doing more of the work for me as well. I keep it on my nightstand and reach for it almost daily. It’s beautifully crafted, quality look and feel and comes with its own plush storage bag.

This is my first facial roller, so I can’t say how it compares to others out there, but I absolutely LOVE the Sacheu facial roller, and all the thought that’s gone behind its design. I think it’s so unique how Sarah chose to make the roller from stainless steel instead of jade or crystal, which is not only much more sanitary because it is non-porous, but it is also self-cooling, which means that I still get that chilled effect even I’m too lazy to keep it in the fridge.

The roller actually stays chilled throughout the whole time I use it, although it does warm up a bit towards the end. The facial roller is very weighted and feels high quality – I don’t have to worry about anything bending or breaking, and the rolling is so controlled and smooth (something I never thought about before and was surprised to experience).

I also love that Sarah thought to include a travel pouch, making it much more convenient and clean to store or bring around the roller. Additionally, I appreciate how environmentally conscious the brand is.

I was very excited to learn that the facial roller (and gua sha) is made from recycled stainless steel and is recyclable itself, and the brand’s packaging and shipping material are also made from recycled cardboard.

In this time, I think it’s extremely important to protect the environment and our natural resources, so I applaud Sarah and her brand’s commitment to doing so. Clearly, Sarah and her team have put an incredible amount of thought and love into her products, going above and beyond to provide beauty/lifestyle items instead of makeup or skincare like I may have expected (not that it’s a bad thing, just one more way this launch has been one of a kind).

I’m so excited to continue incorporating the roller into my daily routine, and think this is also a wonderful gift for friends and family, especially with the holidays approaching. Congrats on an amazing launch!.

I am SO happy that @sacheubeauty reached out to me recently and asked if I wanted to try out their Stainless Steel Dual-Sided Beauty Roller. I actually have had this and the Stainless Steel Gua-Sha in my shopping cart for a while since I’ve been curious about the stainless steel material.

I’ve also been following Sarah (@Sacheu) on youtube and instagam for quite a few years now. Thank you so much for gifting the roller so I could have the chance to test it out an share my thoughts! I have been sent several roller and gua sha tools and this one is HANDS DOWN my favorite because of the 100% stainless steel.

My favorite part is that the stainless steel is naturally cool and stays cool for longer than the popular jade and rose quartz stones. I prefer when my facial tools are cold and this one stays cool for the duration of my session.

Secondly, the weight of the roller is great. I love how heavy it is and the sensation it gives when rolled on the skin. The natural pressure from the weight is soothing and actually feels like a massage without being rough.

Lastly, it’s great that stainless steel is non-porous and won’t trap bacteria. It is easy to clean and works well with slip products like serums and oils. As for visible effects, I feel like this roller has helped with deputing the under eye area.

I plan on consistently using this and have high hopes that this will help firm and contour! I definitely am thinking about getting the gua sha too!.

If you don’t have a Gua Sha, you need one– and this stainless steel version by Sacheu is the ONE; it is superior to other versions on the market for multiple reasons. So first, a Gua Sha is a tool for a facial massage technique that helps promote lymphatic drainage and circulation while easing tensions in the face.

At the spa, I have had many clients who would come for facials exclusively because of the pressure point/lymphatic drainage facial massage technique that I practice. This type of massage would ease their TMJ/ jaw pain, sinus pressure, or tension headaches; and also reduce fluid retention and puffiness.

It is difficult to hit these points on yourself between treatments, and that is where the Gua Sha tool comes in. This is much better than a facial roller (which I still use and love, but for different purposes) for pushing that stagnant fluid toward the lymph nodes and relieving built-up tension and tightness in the face.

The shape of the tool, the angle at which you hold it, and the way you have close control over direct pressure, will help you to hit some of the areas that practitioners of this type of massage go for in the treatment room.

Aside from tension or pain relief, you will notice your face looking more sculpted and contoured due to that fluid being drained. Sacheu’s stainless steel tool is different from most Gua Sha’s–which are traditionally made from jade or rose quartz (or are knock-off versions of these materials.

I personally think this tool is sleek, chic, and totally Instagram-shelfie-worthy. Everyone should have a Gua Sha, and from a skin-safe, ethical, and eco-friendly perspective– Sacheu is the way to go.

I love the Rose Quartz hearts from Kora! They are well shaped and very smooth to massage. Beautiful product! I bought two of the hearts and wanted to give one to my sister as a gift. However, one of them is slightly dented in the middle part.

I know it’s natural product, but it will be even nicer if it’s without defect. ;-).

What can I say this product is like a magic elixir. I do routine dermaplaning for my skin and this product is intensely soothing to the skin and the senses. I have converted my husband as well. He loves it as an aftershave.

The scent is only slightly floral, very subtle but very aromatherapeutic in quality. I put 2-3 drops on my fingertips and pat lightly all over my face. As it warms to your skin, massage it over your ears and down into your neck.

I follow up with Double Serum. I am absolutely in love with this product!.

Blue Orchid Face Cream Oil has become a favorite product of mine. I recently ordered my second bottle. I think the skin oil is absorbed well by the skin. It nourishes and helps to hydrate the skin. I live in a large city and the pollution quotient rises in the heat of summer so I feel it is protective too.

The oil has a pleasant, mild natural fragrance. One bottle lasts a long time. I use maybe 3-4 drops of the oil both a. m. and p. m. on my face after cleansing and on the décolleté area.

I love in SoCal where Santa Ana winds are ruthless on delicate vegetation and my already dry skin. This oil gives my skin the desperately needed protection and comfort during those times and on those days when my moisturizer needs that something extra.

Although some may have complained about the scent of this oil, I absolutely enjoy it. The strong botanical smell brings my mind at ease and sets the mood that “help is on the way” whenever the desert winds are cruel.

I appreciate the creation of this essential product in my skincare arsenal and hope Clarins NEVER discontinues it.

This was recommended to me by a fabulous makeup artist friend (her skin is amazing) after my go-to exfoliator was discontinued (previously used Laura Mercier’s Face Polish). Without my aesthetician and my exfoliator, my face was breaking out almost as bad as my teenage days.

I have sensitive skin and it’s especially sensitive to fragrances. While this has a mint scent (actually refreshing), it has not caused any irritations or breakouts on my skin. I saw dramatic results with just ONE WEEK of use.

I was pleasantly shocked. It’s even better than my discontinued exfoliator. Like the LM exfoliator, it’s on the rougher side but that’s what my skin likes and needs. So if you’re sensitive to exfoliating beads, I would skip this one or use only a couple of times a week to build up tolerance.

Because of COVID restrictions (not being able to get microdermabrasions or high frequency treatments), my skin has been struggling to stay clear and healthy. This product fixed all of that! We live in a world of instant gratification and this product did that! It’s pricey but it’s worth it and you don’t need to use a lot of product.

I can see this lasting me a long while. I’ll definitely look into the other Lancer products.

This is the best scrub I have ever ever ever had. I was skeptical at first due to the price being a bit up there but this is seriously worth every penny. I have a very oily/combo complexion and this scrub is amazing.

I have tried million of skincare products from other top and regular brand and this is by far the best. My skin feels ultra clean, light, and fresh without any over drying or unwanted shine.

When I went to use the oil it was a light colour with a layer of white (foam?) at the top. I didn’t think much of it and applied it to my face. I have used Clarins all my life. I have NEVER had a reaction to any moisturiser or skin product ever.

The next morning my face felt tingly and I thought it was doing it’s job – deep hydration. I used it again in the evening and by the next morning there was a rash across my face and down my neck. Like I had sunburn.

I then patch tested it on sensitive parts of my body for a couple of days but no redness and no reaction. Then my face started itching and a couple of days later, became bumpy and started to peel. This product literally burnt my skin – I don’t know if it has to do with the colour of it – it certainly doesn’t look like the picture.

So disappointed.

I’m a lifelong fan of the blue orchid oil but as my skin got very dry and sensitive during the pandemic because of the need to wear masks often and for extended periods of time I thought I’d give this one a go as well.

It is excellent. It solved the problem, my skin no longer stretches and tightens but is soft and pleasant to touch. I use it sparingly as too much of it causes my skin to break out. I use it overnight under serum and night cream but also mix a few drops with one of the Clarins face masks, the results are amazing! The bottle lasts for ages and it beautifully hydrates my skin.

I love this oil even more than the Blue Orchid oil which i had before. The wonderful cardamon fragrance is amazing especially for the winter months. I take this when I travel so after I get to the hotel, I wash my face and put this on to relax.

It’s soothing and hydrating, I’ve never found it irritating close to the eye area. This is also really great if you have a bit of wind chapped skin. This is my favouriate Clarins Facial Oil. Enjoy!.

Having been fairly active in the skin care community for over a year, I’ve seen a lot of conflicting thoughts over Go-To skincare. There definitely seems to be a cult following on one side of the line, with other people being staunchly opposed to the brand because of all the essential oils/ingredient list on the other side.

I was very skeptical of this brand and wouldn’t have tried it if it wasn’t for one of my friends (who is a cult follower and swears by this product). When I originally opened it, I was quite nervous as there was a very strong smell (it smells quite nice, but more like one of the essential oil rollers I put on my pressure points before bed to help me sleep).

I was extremely nervous I was going to breakout and it was going to make my skin go crazy, so I introduced it slowly (and hesitantly) – it’s now been a couple of weeks, and I’m currently applying it every night.

I really like it. I’ve gotten quite used to the smell and it’s actually relaxing putting it on before bed (I use it as the last step as I have an oil-free, gel-based moisturiser, but check the go-to website for instructions on where to use it in your skin routine).

It’s quite a light oil, so it doesn’t feel super heavy or like it’s clogging my pores, but definitely feels very moisturising. I started using it because my skin was very dry due to cold weather – I was also surprised that it didn’t irritate my red/dry patches – and it has done wonders (no more red, flaky skin!).

I have also noticed some improvements with my overall skin tone (not so red and uneven, although I have been using the Summer Fridays CC Me Serum at the same time). Despite still remaining skeptical of the rest of the Go-To line (I’m happy with my other products and don’t feel like I need to try more of this range), I have definitely been converted for this face oil.

My skin can be sensitive and was very dry and I haven’t had any issues (or any breakouts) since using this. It would be my top face oil and I will likely be repurchasing when I finish this bottle (I bought the full size one as the mini wasn’t available).

I have never loved a product more. I have zero time, a million kids and haven’t slept in approx 6 years. My skin looks like a leather handbag you left in the sun for a decade and I have only ever had a strict ragime of cleanser/moisturizer because, life.

Enter- Face Hero. I was sceptical, did I mention my starting point? And also, not a fan of 13 step facial routines. So adding an “unnecessary” oil was a lot to handle. But this product is the jam. My skin was bright and moisturized and delicious.

I want to bathe in this. I want to only ever be in front of a mirror applying this and breathing in it’s intoxicating aroma of magic. Worth it and more. Treat yourself.

Of three fragrances I purchased, malie, koke and coconut vanilla this is my favorite. I love this very subtle sweetness that lingers after application. The oil absorbs quickly and is never tacky. My very dry skin loves it too! A little goes a long way.

I’m using it daily after showering n in between for arms n legs as needed. Excellent product!.

I’ve always been so scared to use oils on my face because of my combination skin, but lately I’ve noticed my skin needed more moisturizing. I use many Juice Beauty products, so I had no doubt this would be a great quality item, but WOW was I shocked with how great my skin looked in the morning!! During my night routine after cleansing I used three drops, rubbed in my palms, and applied to my face.

I let that soak in for a minute and then used my night moisturizer. My skin the next day was so plump and hydrated!! Fine lines on my forehead were gone. Omg this is now forever in my skincare routine! I’ve also mixed a couple drops of this into my body lotion and use apply it after I shower.

My skin is so soft now.

This is my go to summer face oil. It is light weight and very mildly fragrant. It absorbs fast and leaves my skin smooth and soft. It’s was a great find for me as I have incredibly sensitive skin. I am on my second bottle with no rash/no breakouts.

Remember to pat it onto your face, do not rub in. I also used this oil during and after my pregnancy to reduce stretch marks. It was really nice knowing that this was a safe product I could use while pregnant.

If you want to use just one product for your day and evening routine: Organic Treatment Oil is it! Forget department store products that promise the world and give zero results. Most of the department store products test on animals through cruel methodologies… do you want to endorse that? Instead – use a really great and healthy product and make it YOUR daily routine! I have for 5 years: it’s all I use and my skin never looked better.

Let me start off by saying that I am a bit of a beauty product junkie, always looking for the correct and most effective products to counteract the ageing process. I have used everything from La Mer to Dermalogica and this ladies is heaven sent.

I no longer feel dry or dehydrated after an hour. My skin glows and feels supple as well as perfectly moisturized and younger for a full 24hrs. That has never happened with other products. I was initially concerned that an oil would leave my face oily and shiny but there was not a greasy trace left behind ! Only supple and well moisturized skin.

I would buy boxes of it if I could.

I’ve been using this product for years on my dry skin & it works wonders. It is very hydrating. I will put it on in the morning and my face is still hydrated in the evening. I have moderate to severely dry skin.

The product is not slimy or overly greasy. It has an amazing smell! The scent may not be for everyone, but I absolutely LOVE the smell! The scent is noticeable when you first put it on, but it quickly dissipates.

I experience breakouts regularly, usually due to my cycle or sometimes diet. I’ve been using this oil for several weeks now (with the neroli mist), morning and night and I really like it. My skin seems a lot calmer, even throughout the parts of my cycle when I usually breakout.

It absorbs really well and I no longer have an oily shiny face throughout the day. I’m still get blemishes but they are not anywhere near as bad as they were. After a couple days they seems to go away on their own.

This has also done wonders for my pores as well, no more blackheads at all really. It’s the first product I’ve used that’s actually been helpful with that. I’m really glad I gave this a try!.

This product has absolutely changed my skin for the better. I love love this oil and how it leaves my skin. The scent took some getting used to, at first I thought it was too sweet but now I find it comforting and as always goes a way pretty quickly.

My black heads have lessened and notice how easily they are to extract when they do appear. I’ve also noticed that when my skin does stress out the my breakouts are less and they go away quicker.
