20 Best Growing Conditions For Rosemary (2023 Updated)

I’m not happy that I did not get Lavender (a favorite), Calendula (also a favorite), Coneflower, Anise. These are colorful flowers I was picturing in my garden. I think if the order cannot be fulfilled as pictured, then it should not be offered as a bundle.

Sometimes you decide on a pack based on what you see in the picture. I understand there is a warning statement for substitutions, again, if not available, I think it should not be offered and pictured.

Lesson learned.

My daughter wants to learn to garden so I sent her seeds from the best seed place I know! She was thrilled when she saw the variety. Living 4,000 miles away from each other it is nice to send such an important part of life; growing food and medicinal teas and herbs.

Great variety of seeds and i had a great germination rate with all of them. Arrived safely in packaging. no complaints!

I grew a rosemary in a container years ago. I noticed that it gives off a substance underground that prevented anything growing around the container so I believe that his plant as it germinates will give off a substance as well that will prevent nearby seeds from germinating.

You may want to use peat pellets to have a more successful germination rate and do not let water mix with the pear pots pellets since the chemicals may lower the germination rate of nearby seed. It is not recommended to plant anything in the same container as this plant.

A bit slow to germinate and it can be temperamental. An old wive’s tale is that Rosemary prospers only where the woman is in charge of the household. For anyone who lives in an area with harsh winters, it’s best to bring the plant indoors before the first frost.

I started these seeds very early because the info on website and the package said they can be slow to germinate, up to a month! I started these indoors on a heat mat and covered with a baggie. Roman Chamomile is one of my favorite scents! This EO from PT is a true winner. It’s light and cool floral/herbaceous and apple-like scent permeates my olfactory and the room in all the best of ways.

It reminds of me of the tea my grandmother used to make me. I can use this oil for almost any purpose. It’s great for diffusing, skin/hair products and soaps/body washes. One other thing I can say is that this Eo is pretty powerful, so as long as you use only a few drops in moderation, then it shouldn’t overpower (especially if you’re using it in a blend).

I highly recommend this Roman Chamomile. The German oil is blue in color and has a much stronger earthy/herbaceous scent reminiscent of hay which has a warmer, musky feel to it. This one is the more bright, cool floral feeling.

A must-own!.

I bought fennel seeds, rosemary and star anise. They were all packed beautifully, arrived in perfect condition and their essences were better than expected. I will certainly use Spice Jungle for future spice needs!.

I bought 4 oz of dried Rosemary and it came very quickly, packaged well in a high quality resealable bag which is good for storing any that won’t fit in the shaker. This is my 3rd purchase through Spice Jungle and so far I have been very happy with all my transactions so far.

I ordered 2 of these to flank the front door. Although the product name says “silk”, they are not. Product looks real unless you are closely inspecting the shrub. I already had the 2 containers and had attempted to maintain flowers but the conditions are too hot.

I positioned an empty paint can in the bottom of the planters and surrounded the base of the shrubs in black rubber mulch. They look great! I ordered on Monday and they arrived on Thursday. no additional charge.

I hope these will continue to look this good for years to come.

I really do love these trees. Unfortunately, the two I received were quite different from one another. My intention was to have them match as a pair. One was a bulkier, a brighter yellowish green shade, while the other one was a darker green with only slight highlights of yellowish green and was noticeably skinnier than the other.

My advice is for future orders for trees that your company sells that customers buy in a pair, to try to match two in your warehouse that compliment one another since most people position them side by side or not to far apart from each other.

I also ordered 2 more of these Cypress trees (via Amazon but also from your company) in the 4 foot size and those 2 match perfectly to one another. I only wish I could get a credit or discount for this flaw as it is something that has left me a bit disappointed and not as satisfied as I would have been had the 5 foot trees matched like the 4 foot trees did.

Amazing ! I can honestly say I was skeptical. I mean how good can it look? After looking at artificial trees in other stores, I thought this would be the same. Plastic. awlful cheap imitations. But. to my amazement.

this tree is just so so superior. so full. so much definition. great coloration. perfect. Shipping and packaging well done, and easy simple to unpack and arrange the branches to your liking. Looks wonderful.

Do not hesitate on this one. It will go beyond your expectations.

I purchased two of these plants to place out front and I was underwhelmed, to say the least. The plants appear to be missing a good amount of leaves making the black styrofoam ball on the hedges very apparent, even from a distance.

I’m disappointed as the hedges do not look as full as advertised and if I knew this ahead of time, I would not have purchased. Customer service is very responsive and helpful, just make sure to hold onto your original packaging, as I did not.

As a result, I am stuck with the plants but will do my best to fill in the gaps to achieve the advertised look that I thought I was purchasing.

I do wish this tree were a few inches taller but it looks great and if I could find a matching urn planter I would love to buy another tree and have 1 on each side of my front door. It has held up well and still looks like the day I received it.

I used tiny natural toned pebbles to fill it in around the bottom inside the stone urn planter I have it in. Looks close enough to real without the hassle and worry of real. I was mainly pleased with the price as these are so expensive for even this same size when compared to a few other big name sites.

I love the 2′ Cedar Spiral Silk Tree so much that I’ve already ordered two more! I have it on my porch and it looks real. I plan to “plant” the other two near my porch which will really look good.

The tree arrived exactly as pictured. Comes in 2 pieces , easy to plug together in seconds. I had purchased 2 stone planters already to place them in. I weighted the pots down with loose stones, then I added the trees in their small pots and some sphagnum moss on the top.

I came across a bottle of this Spice Hunter Steak & Chop Grill & Broil “Salt Free” seasoning as I was reorganizing my kitchen. Saw it was salt free so decided to use it to season the steaks I was going to broil tonight for dinner.

Glad I did. It is wonderful. Too many of the salt free seasonings contain cayenne pepper which makes everything taste like it’s got a lot of pepper on it. I prefer to taste the food, not the pepper. This seasoning does not contain any cayenne pepper and makes the meat taste wonderful.

The great thing about it is I found I didn’t have to use a lot of it which is a good thing as the jar I found in the cupboard is on the verge of being totally empty. I’m really glad I found this seasoning available on Walmart.

I have tried a few different Celery Salts over the years and This is the one that is least Saltiest and more Celery tasting, which is a good thing. I add this to not only my Bloody Marys but to my soups and deviled eggs.

It is so difficult to find Ground Mexican Oregano in local grocery stores. It is one of my go to spices and feel like my dishes are so lacking when I don’t have any on hand. When I recently ran out of my last bottle I was in a panic! I found Spice Jungle and their amazing selection of rare spices.

Our family from Northern Maine use it for chicken stew. Cook onions, add 4-5 cubed potatoes, add water and 3-4 chicken legs, skinless. Cook till chicken is cooked. Remove legs and debone. Make to add hand full of summer savory at the start of cooking.

Now add cut up chicken meat and 3-5 cubed potatoes. Bring to a heavy boil. This makes first batch of potatoes to break down and thicken broth. Mix in a small bowl flour and water. Then spoon into stew small spoonfuls.

Now you have dumplings! Do add salt and pepper to taste.

I love your spices BUT am really disappointed in response to my comment on recent order. I asked that the labels NOT be attached to the plastic bags and sent so I could adhere to the jars i decant the spices into.

I buy lots of spice from Spice Jungle and like to label my jars. Your labels are very nice, but don’t come off bags in one piece. Grrrr!.

I bought this plant using the curbside pickup. I was hoping to receive a live and healthy plant. I was wrong, it was brown and ugly, the soil was bone-dry upon checking over the product. Despite rehabilitative care, it was too far gone to save.

Waste of money, I was hoping to have some fresh rosemary to use! Maybe they have some better options in store, but do not expect them to pick out the best product when using the curbside service. If I assumed the worst, I would say they picked out the worst one they had.

On the flip side, if this one was the best, I wish there was a way they would have informed me this product was of sub-par standard, and gave the option to opt-out of its purchase.

Love it! I planted ours outside and it is huge! I use on everything I bake in my air fryer and oven. Soups and sandwiches too! You may transplant it to a bigger pot and keep indoors too! I might do that when the weather turns colder.

My plant is growing profusely over a retaining wall; however, it has not bloomed in two years. There has recently been an infestation of insects, causing the plant to become brittle. After hesitation, I sprayed.

They arrive on time, very healthy and beautiful, after a week two of them started becoming brown and died. My biggest wish is having a large area full of Rosemaries I love their aroma. I would like you can help me giving me advise how I can make the to grow on the best way.

I planted these plants the day that they were received and they are still living but they are not thriving. Perhaps the Florida sun is too strong for them. They were beautiful when they arrived.

While visiting with (socially-distanced) friends several weeks ago, we were comparing notes on our 2020 gardening efforts. I was bemoaning not being able to find a rosemary plant in our small, rural town.

They said they’d keep an eye out, but to make sure to find a Tuscan Blue one. Knowing that wasn’t going to happen in our dairy town, I went online. The first place I found was The Greenhouse, and – wow! I loved that it’s family-owned.

I loved it’s in Oregon, where my brother and his family live (PDX). I loved how wholesome and *loved* every plant seemed. I found a lovely Tuscan blue and bit the bullet. When my plant arrived, it was beautifully and securely packaged.

I’ve had varied experiences with mail-ordering plants, and this one is by far #1 in terms of plant quality. It looked like the plant had *just* been packaged – no. It looked like it was still living and breathing in Oregon air.

The kind of air that shares with other tall firs and pines, and has notes of ocean flavor and moisture. It was (and is) so very beautiful. No wilting to speak of – maybe just a shade of leaning at the ends of stalks.

I let it breathe in our New Mexican air overnight, transplanted it into a lovely pot and it is just thriving! It joins one other Oregonian plant in our yard – a Jude the Obscure rose bush not rated for our zone, but which is thriving six years later.

I bought two French Lavender and two Tuscan Blue Rosemary from Green House. I was surprise when I received my plants. They plants traveled a long ways in a box so I thought I would see damage. Except for on bent stem and two levels a little brown, they arrived in great condition.

I planted them in my garden last week in they look great.

My herb arrived in a timely manner. I have planted after waiting a day or two for this herb to acclimate to my NC Area. She is now very happy in her own container nestled near the dill and parsley. I appreciate the special note about allowing my herbs to acclimate to their surrounding.

I have always had Rosemary Arp which in my zone stays over the winter. Here in Oklahoma we had a terrible storm with plunging temps and I lost it. Was unable to find it locally so appreciate that the Greenhouse had it and it is a very nice specimen.

Larger than I thought it would be.

Received our order of 4, 1 gallon size, Arp rosemary plants. They were looking good upon arrival and are happier still where they are planted amongst their herbal cousins. Packaging was completely adequate and kept the plants moist and undamaged.

I purchased two of these for my kitchen – one in more of a small tree style, and one just growing out of the pot. They both look so real! The size is perfect for a pop of color on my countertop, and they blend nicely with other items.

This plant wasn’t for me. It was covered in the little foam dots (blooms) which just kept falling off everywhere. Looks like it was dipped in candy or something. Too fake looking. I’m exchanging for a non flowering rosemary that Studio McGee has available.
