I am very impressed with this light. I had some electrical issues in my mud room recently that left the climate in that room not much better than outdoors. I returned home one day, and my baby aloe plants were on the verge of popsicle status and were in need of help.
My mountainside home could provide the temperature indoors but not the sun. With shriveled leaves and a brown tint setting in, I immediately bought this lamp. Within a day of receiving this light, my aloe had done a complete turn around.
The leaves started to fill out and turn green again. The sleek design of this lamp makes it convenient to place anywhere. I don’t have to have a designated room for my plants (which I don’t have anyway lol).
I set up the plants on top of my bookshelf in my living room. The dimming aspect makes for a less intrusive light in the evening, as well as, not having to worry about any heat being given off either.
I am also impressed with the customer service. Although the light arrived in two days without a hitch, I was still contacted to make sure it arrived, and to make sure the light had not been damaged in anyway during shipping.

Had for over a year now, and the light function works great and the clamp is nice and strong but also padded so that you don’t have to worry about it moving or scratching. I like that you can chose the intensity, as I’ve been able to slowly acclimate new plants that were coming from a shady spot.

The overall experience I had with the 80W grow light was positive. The light were delivered in a timely fashion and were easy to setup. I ordered three lights, but one was defective and didn’t light up at all.

IšverstiShow in original languageSo, the small screws used to affix the metal clamps are too small. had to improvise to make it work. And the light deflectors “snapping into place” during assembly is laughable.
I’ve been working for nearly 30 minutes to get these in and gave up before something broke. It shouldn’t be this difficult to attach these but the combination of flimsy plastic and curvature of the LED light bar and the deflectors don’t make getting these on easy.
It’s 2022 and this is the best we can do? I sure hope the performance is better than the assembly. Until that time, 2 stars is the best I can begrudgingly give.
IšverstiShow in original languageI was excited about using this system for my plant starts. It came together pretty easily (although I agree with some other reviews that some pieces do not “snap” into place as easily as the instructions imply), and my plants loved it.
However, the entire unit gave off a terrible acrid smell, like burning plastic. Gardeners assured me this was a “new plastic smell,” but after a week it had still not dissipated, so I took apart the unit (the shelf smelled terrible even sitting outside in the sun) and rigged the lights to use alone.
However, when the lights were in use, they alone emitted the same pungent smell. I’ve just decided to put the plants back in the window because I can’t deal with exposing my household to whatever fumes the lights are emitting.
I am surprised no one else has commented on this odor, so I’m not sure if my unit was faulty or what. Disappointing.
IšverstiShow in original languageI mainly use this product to start seedlings, overwinter houseplants and non-hardy perennials. I have a very small house so the vertical space utilization is perfect.
This product essentially creates an indoor greenhouse which is incredible when you compare its cost to that of an actual greenhouse. I have had mine for about three years and the bulbs are still going strong.
It was extremely easy to put together, the people that complained about this are clearly mechanically inept. Also the modular nature of this product is awesome, you can customize to fit your exact needs! This unit does have its drawbacks however.
As it is made of plastic it is somewhat rickety, the lights aren’t strong enough to sustain fully mature plants for long periods of time (will sustain them in the short term however) and watering the plants can be difficult without pulling all the plants off the shelf.
A drip tray would be a nice touch and extremely helpful.
We were using DIY lights that got them from seedlings until we could get this product. WOW!!! Our babies took off. We’re starting to get our turpines in really well by now. Can’t wait for finished product.
Recommended this brand but go for bigger wattage and tent as it will outgrow even three plants as they are AWESOME LIGHTS. A++++++++.
I used to think you had the big fancy lights but now I just use 600watt LED’s to grow my indoor broccoli and carrots. So remember folks bigger lights are not always the best!

IšverstiShow in original languageI bought this floor lamp this spring to “test” it on houseplants before our long indoor growing season in Michigan. I wanted a classy looking floor style “grow lamp” that not only looked good in my contemporary condo.
I wanted one that worked to keep my house plants alive during the gray-sky SW Michigan winter. My eleven-year-old granddaughter helped to put this lamp together and we placed it over two large but sickly looking Christmas cactus in a corner of my condo living room.
(This will later be my wintertime plant corner. ) It was a miracle! My drooping cactus not only raised upwards towards the light they sent out new growth and now look healthy and green again. I am sold! Today I am ordering a second lamp just like the first one.
