The order was easy to place and the delivery was quick. Communication was excellent. The product looks good, although I haven’t used it yet. I would have given 5 stars if the items hadn’t arrived wrapped in 2 layers of unnecessary plastic.

I bought the product to avoid buying plastic pots and they came wrapped in plastic. There are plenty of alternatives these days so please look into these. I would become a regular customer if the packaging becomes more environmentally friendly.

The pots arrived promptly despite the lockdown. The air pruning pots are a suitable colour -an ecological green and made in a fabric rather like a thick felt. They are light and durable. I planted my tomatoes a week ago and their development is soaring.

They already seem to have doubled in size and if plants can be described as content in their surroundings then I would make so bold as to describe them as contented. I bought 5 packs of pots (15 pots) which came to just over £30 which seems to be to be reasonable value for a non plastic pot.

The information about air pruning included in the purchase is extremely interesting and I look forward to seeing how my tomatoes develop in comparison to the plants which go into conventional plastic pots.

I shall endeavour to recycle the pots once the growing season is over and have high hopes that I shall achieve at least one more season from these lovely, colourful pots. Great purchase. Thank you.

I find these fabric pots so much better for the trees I grow (purely personal – not business). They are easy to move around and, obviously, less liable to break if dropped or struck accidentally. I find the sizes convenient, moving through the 5, 10 and 20 litre pots but because the plants do not become ‘pot bound’, changing pots is less frequently required.

The pots look very wet in the photos as it had been a night of heavy rain but I feel that’s another strength in that they dry more quickly than soil in traditional pots.

The housing is weak where the bar clamps to saw. It can easily crack and distort allowing the bar to move around and get loose. Then the oil will leak down out the bottom instead of going into the chain bar.

Mine failed after 3 cuts on a large log. (It was a refurb item) Also the tension adjuster screw just presses against a hollow plastic protrusion and will punch through in a short time. If you take the saw apart you can press a 1/2″ piece of 3/8 round bar into that part of the housing to reinforce it.

This saw is very poorly engineered. Way too weak for its size.

I got this because I was having problems starting my gas chain sa. Usually I would get mad enough to say screw it, and buy another chain saw. Since I’m getting older and don’t know if my non starting gas chainsaw was a mechanical problem or was caused by my loss of physical strength an agility problem, so I decided not to buy a new gas chain saw, but instead get a high amp electric saw.

I’ve bought three different reconditioned lawn/garden tools on EBay with excellent results, so I got this model and I’ve had great results. The real clincher is that since it is factory reconditioned and it has the same warranty as new.

My favoured soil. A light airy growing media my calatheas love. Holds just enough water and is well aerated.

Bought same bags a few years ago & they’re still going strong so when I needed more these were the obvious choice. Very strong material that on the original bags have no tears or cuts despite heavy use.

The original straps are also still in perfect condition. Only problem with new bags is with the plastic band that keeps the top open. The original bags had a thick band that was curved on one side that were really easy to thread through the eye holes.

The new bags have a much narrower band that is flat. I snapped two of them trying to get them in & only time will tell if they last.

Delivery was fast, and these bags are durable. I just filled them with dirt for my potatoes and tomato transplants yesterday. I placed all the bags in a kiddie pool so that the roots can wick up water rather than watering each from the top.

It will also help deter rodents from gnawing through the bottom of the bags. My only concern at this point is the soil structure because these bags are flexible so when moved it causes the soil to fissure and crack inside which can expose roots, so once your seed or seedling is planted I suggest you keep the bags somewhere they will not be disturbed – the hard plastic pool works great for this also.

Very pleased!! I live in an apartment. Love to plant in containers. No place to store containers until now. Heavy felt fabric. 11″ deep and 15″ across (30″ around) Well constructed. Love the handles!! Used over the summer to plant flowers and tomato plants.

Water does go through fabric, so you may need to put something under it. When growing season is over. I clean them up, fold and store them in my utility closet. Will use again this coming summer. Love them!!.

These are very good strong grow bags. I bought some last year for my tomato plants and they loved it. I purchased more this year to grow more tomatoes. 7 gallon bags work for me so far. I really like the handles, so I can move the bags, if I want to.

There once was a local (Idaho) company that made potting soil. It was inexpensive but of the very best quality I’ve ever worked with. This product reminds me of that soil less mix. I used it for just about everything.

I would start seeds in it, work them into larger containers, place it in the transplant holes to ease transplant shock, blend it into garden soil prior to direct seeding, use it as a mulch base for strawberries prior to spreading pine shavings.

the uses are very numerous indeed since I use no granulated fertilizers or sprays. Clover lawn clippings and the potting soil combined with crop rotation and cover crops are all the soil building I do! This will be my newest go to soil!.

I cannot say enough how pleased I am with Gardeners. com. I purchased 35 bags for all my potting needs and within 5 days my seeds were sprouting. On this day of the pictures, it is a less than two weeks and I have a wonderful healthy vegetable garden.

I purchased the 4×12 bed out of cedar. The description stated I would receive two 6 foot long boards with a connector. I received 4 boards that were 3. 5 inches high and 6 feet long for each side. I also received 4 boards that were 3.

5 inches high for the ends. This makes for a very unstable bed and allows for potential water and soil seepage. I am not pleased that I received 8 boards instead of 4 for the sides. Also, the bed is not 15 inches deep.

It is 14 inches deep. My opinion is that you can buy retaining wall blocks for almost the same amount of money and have a more stable bed. I would have returned it except shipping was too expensive. I have been purchasing from Gardener’s for a long time and love the bean towers, expandable pea trellis, protection stakes for netting, and tunnel arches.

This is a well-designed, well-made, and great looking raised garden bed. The garden beds I bought from other sources don’t come close. My only wish is that the screws were made of a tougher metal. It is easy to strip their heads when using a power drill.

It took very little time to assemble the parts. The directions were clear and the parts needed neatly packaged. I am especially impressed with the price I paid, which is so much less that what I paid for inferior products from other sources.

I should mention that the bed shipped quickly and arrived intact. I did not have this experience with other sources.

This garden kit was easy to put together and was able to do myself (although an extra pair of hands would make it much easier!) Even though cedar has natural staying power, I also painted with GSC clear waterproofer.

The 1 quart was exactly the right amount for all the boards of 4 x 8 x 16 garden kit. The boards were straight and of good quality. Some had more knots than others. None of the boards posed a problem putting in the slots of corner pieces.

One detail that was a little confusing in the instructions was that apparently some kits come as 4″ wide boards and others come with 8″ wide. Other than that, I had no problems following the directions.

Previous attempts at growbag produce have resulted in the occasional drought when we have been busy at work. This produced split fruit or poor performance. The Growbag Waterer solves this problem and delivers the correct amount of water and food consistantly.

This is a very good idea but only 4stars because the price is only just affordable, as my daughter had bought hers for 20 elsewhere, and yet can go up to as much as 30 or more! I hope it lasts and the plastic retains its elasticity in sunlight.

When I decide to try growing potatoes, I knew I couldn’t grow them in my horrible city backyard soil. Unfortunately, the fabric bags I own were not strong enough and my containers would be too heavy and awkward.

I tried these potato bags and I am so happy that I did. Currently I have 2 bags growing potatoes, 1 growing sunchokes, and 1 growing tomatoes. I know these are titled “Potato Bags”, but they are so strong and have been great at keeping my potatoes happy that I thought I would try tomatoes.

So far my tomatoes are very happy. I also love the color (I purchased the periwinkle). They are sturdy enough to stand on their own and keep their shape while allowing drainage and airflow. Love them!.

I bought this to grow some sweet potatoes on my apartment balcony in the summer (zone 9b). It took 24 quarts of potting soil plus a small bag of compost to fill 7/8 of this bag. I left some room to add dirt as the vines grow.

It has nifty handles to make it portable. I will be moving this summer, and the compact size is small enough to be portable, but roomy enough to fit 3 sweet potato vines comfortably. I will probably put the bag onto roller wheels to make it easier to move as it is heavy when full.

Great for gardening in compact spaces, but a good size to get a decent harvest. I’ll update my review at the end of the season regarding if it was a good bag to grow sweet potatoes in.

I love Gardner’s Supply Potato Grow Bags. They are so easy to use and, weather permitting, the potato yield is fantastic. Hard to believe I can get so many from such a small piece. Plus this helps free up space in my small garden for other vegetables.

This was a repurchase as the ones I bought 4 years ago finally reached their end of life for growing potatoes. But I’m now using the old ones for collecting leaves, weeds and other garden refuse. It’s the bag that keeps on giving!.

Good depth of soil -far superior than the conventional grow bags from the garden centres which have little depth of soil. However, it takes a couple of 40 litre bags plus of compost to fill it. Can put them straight on the patio or raise them for easy use.

My one criticism is that the growbags are a bit “saggy” and could do with 4 support poles at the corners. Just planted carrots, spring onions , radish in one bag and iceberg lettuce in the other. Hopefully these bags will last a few seasons in the future.

Good size and sturdy growbag I have used 70L of mixed compost to fill and they could take more. I have put them in my little greenhouse to use as raised beds. I’ve not used yet but plan to put my tomatoes and cucumber in them.

These bags cannot take the heat. The handles have disintegrated. One of the bags ripped half way down when I tried to adjust it slightly. They haven’t made it even half way through one summer. When my annuals are done, those bags will be garbage.

My trees and berry bushes will have to be transplanted before their bags collapse.

These are great! They are nice and big and everything that I planted in them is growing nicely. Beans, corn and tomatoes. The soil drains properly. These are easy to move around as well. The came with some cute little colorful plastic plant markers which was a nice surprise.

I would purchase these again.

I love these bags. I planted several kind of vegetables in them and they all did very well. Not being buried in the ground, it allowed me to move the plants around as needed to catch more sun. I am looking forward to using them again next season.

They are a lot cheaper than earth boxes and function pretty much the same except you water from the top.

I like the versatility of using the bag for planting in areas where in-ground planting is not feasible and also being able to move the plant as needed; I use it for determinate tomatoes with the cage.

However, I found that when it gets windy, the bag will tip over. I solved it by driving a stake through the handles on either side, but of course this only works when the bag is on the ground and not on a paved area.

I have some poor soil areas so need to grow in containers so this works well for me.

I have used the previous version of these (mine don’t have the handles) for going on 5 years, primarily for potatoes and tomatoes. Here in northern Illinois, they work quite well. but having lived in the desert too, I can see how they might not be the best solution there.

These grow bags enable me to start potatoes earlier in the season – I put the bags on a garden cart, wheel them out in the sun during the day and back into the garage at night. They’ve certainly made harvesting the potatoes less work – just tip the bag out into a wheelbarrow and pull the potatoes out with your hands.

No damage that way! Drying out is rarely a problem here – usually, it’s the opposite, and these keep the plants from rotting in the container. You do have to pay more attention to watering during the height of the summer heat though – but you can also move the plants to a more sheltered position out of the most intesnse sun/weather easily.

My tomatoes tend to migrate around the house over the course of a growing season o avoid being scorched. The bags are very sturdy – no signs of tears or rotting yet. All-in-all, I think they are well worth the investment.

Have been wonderful and versatile, using them for bell peppers and even a herb bag. Great size and being able to move around has been a huge benefit in the Arizona heat. Also love that they come in various colors – easier to quickly identify what each container is, along with cutting back on the heat that black containers would retain (something rarely needed around here).

I replaced the 29 year old metal filter in my 1992 Shamrock. This new plastic filter fits snugly with no gaps and should do a better job than the original. Now, if the weather will cooperate……

I bought two for the strainer that supplies water to my marine air conditioners. Wit two baskets I could swap back and forth and reduce AC downtime. Thses fit perfectly but you need to measure to make sure they are the correct size.
