Okay, It’s not supposed to be used with water, but it is perfect for my 20-gallon aquarium. The fit is good with about 3″ clearance on all sides. The cart is very stable, and the wheels will save me work when filling or emptying the tank.

(Just remove about 6″ of water before moving the cart to avoid a soggy mess!) This cart looks much nicer than my old rusty stand and I didn’t need to level it. The shelves are not only adjustable, they can be rearranged.

I put the tray on the bottom. Since it’s supposed to be on top I worried it may not be strong enough for the aquarium, which could weigh 180 lbs between water and gravel. I also put a shelf liner under the aquarium to provide a smooth surface and protect the cart.

The advertised length of 33. 75″ includes the handle. The shelves measure 29. 75″ by about 17. 75″. The tray is 3″ deep and narrows to 13″ wide at the bottom. The assembly is not really tool-free. The instructions suggest a rubber mallet, and you NEED a rubber mallet to fully tighten the shelves or loosen them for repositioning.

A measuring tape and masking tape are helpful. Make sure you have everything right where you want it before tightening down. I had problems with the two-piece shelf retainers falling off and sliding down the poles when I started pounding the shelves down, so I held them in place with pieces of masking tape.

When finally done, wow this is a great cart that should last a very long time.

I took delivery on this right before Christmas which was why the packaging was torn and pretty battered, but it didn’t affect the pieces inside at all. I did have one moment of worry when I found broken pieces of black plastic at the bottom of the box which weren’t listed in the directions so I emailed the company to find out if they could send me replacement parts or if I should return to a WalMart store.

By morning it occurred to me that those were probably just shipping protectors so I decided to go ahead and try to put it together. 2 days later I got a short email from the company telling me the plastic pieces were just for shipping purposes.

I did get out my rubber hammer which came in handy since you have smack the shelves pretty good to ‘seat’ them over the plastic shims, and I took another poster’s idea and made sure the handle is on the same end as the locking wheels.

I also took notice of each little plastic shim that holds up the shelf corners to be sure they were all pointed in the “UP” position. Putting it together is a little tricky for one person as the wheels try to roll away from you until you have the bottom shelf in place.

I turned all shelves with the guards pointed up so nothing would slide off the shelves. All in all it took me about 45 minutes. The directions are not real explicit but you can figure it out pretty easily.

I even took the shipping box and cut the cardboard to fit inside the two bottom shelves as liners which is working out pretty well, allowing things to slide easier than if you only had bare wire. This is a bright chrome color and looks like a food cart you might see in hospitals.

All 4 wheels swivel making it easy to push or pull anywhere. I thought the wheels would be rubber but they’re a heavy plastic instead. I ended up with 4 left-over shims which I stored away in case some of the ones holding the shelves up deteriorate over the years.

It’s a really good sturdy cart which I expect should last over 20 years and at an affordable price. Thanks WalMart!.

DO NOY BUY. The installation design is horrible. The slip sleeves do nothing to hold up the shelves. I am pretty sure anything heavy I put on those will collapse the shelf. I had to tape each slip sleeve together because they would not attach together and stay together.

I waited too long to assemble shelf and cannot return.

OK, it is billed as a Heavy Duty unit, and the shelves are thick and sturdy with no wobble. And the casters have a long shank so that they snap in place satisfactorily. The size is perfect for the spot I needed it for.

However I have reservations about the design. While one end of the vertical parts slide over a 2-inch shank, the other end merely rests on a flanged ring. I had to pull out my own glue supply to apply to the parts and hope that this will hold it securely enough.

So far so good, but I have not wheeled it all over the place.

Although it did not come with assembly instructions, it was pretty easy and intuitive with one minor exception. Pro Tip: Make sure you get the casters installed on the correct corners of the cart. It comes with two stationary casters and two rotating casters.

Initially I put them on such that I had a stationary caster on one side, and a rotating caster on the other. By the time I went to put the third caster on, I noticed my mistake. The non-rotating casters are meant to go on the back end of the cart (on the end with the handle) and the two rotating casters on the front.

so you can make turns with it. That was a real light bulb moment. LOL. Anyway, this thing is built like a tank and expect it will still be working hard long after I am gone. I am glad you can still get good Rubbermaid products on Home Essentials Direct.

They are hard to find otherwise.

At 70 I have really come to appreciate simple assembly as standing on my head to access bottom placed bolts ain’t so easy anymore. This cart is maybe the easiest ever that didn’t come in one piece already.

It’s good and sturdy and easy to move about. Up ’til now I have always carried my tools as many as I could in hand or a carrier or even a wheelbarrow and then hoof it back to the garage/tool shed for whatever I forgot or did not anticipate.

So now I can load everything I think I need for a job and then some and pull/push it along to the work. No more running back and forth to a shop table one item at a time or just tossing them about on the floor.

This is much more organized and probably safer as it much reduces tripping hazards. Anyhow, good investment that will last the rest of my time in the shop.

I’ve gone through plenty of “pressed wood” (aka, particle board) furniture in the past and was foolishly searching through “wood” cabinets trying to find an affordable storage solution when I came upon these.

These are lighter, stronger, more stable, and much easier to move than those pressed wood pieces of garbage. About the only potential downside is that these are open shelves, so there is no pressed wood frame painted to look like real wood to hide your items from view.

The packaging is about 50 inches in length, so I just had to fold down one of my seats in my Ford Focus hatchback and slide it in. BAM! Good to drive home. While the package does have some weight to it, I had no problem flinging it up onto my shoulder and carrying it up three flights of stairs to my apartment.

It was ridiculously easy to put together; took me 30 minutes to assemble, no tools required. It is SOLID and the shelves can hold a LOT of weight. I have over 250 pounds on the bottom shelf and there is no sign of any stress.

As I am a loose canon who likes to play by his own rules, I gave it a good shake after loading it up and found it to be extremely stable. mind you, I also loaded it properly with the heaviest items on the bottom and the lightest on the higher tiers.

The chrome frame is beautiful and very durable. In summation, this is a fantastic storage solution if space is at a premium in your home as it is mine, and it is a much better overall value than pressed wood storage cabinets.

My only regret is that I had never considered steel shelves before.

These shelves are absolutely heavy duty! I am using mine as storage for all my small appliances and pans that are not used often. These shelves are holding up to all the weight without bowing. Would recommend for anyone that wants reliable storage space.

Thinking of getting for my food pantry; more sturdy than the shelves I have now.

My only complaint is that one of the “legs” I guess you would call it? is a teeny, tiny bit smaller than the other three, therefore the stoppers that keep the shelves from slipping down on that corner are not super stable.

I can live with that because this shelving system is everything I’d hoped for and then some! It’s super cute in my kitchen. I like the industrial look it brings in.

I bought this for my move 5. 5 months ago. And it was a HUGE help during my move. It’s also been very useful beyond that. It’s been great for hauling my heavy Costco purchases (i. e. cases of water) from my car up to my apartment.

I also use it for whenever I go out to do laundry every week, since I don’t like using the machines in my apartment building. It’s very sturdy, and it’s still in tip top condition 5. 5 months later. Definitely one of my best purchases from BB&B and a solid investment.

Great little cart for hauling small amps, speakers or drums – cases, the platform is just the right size for transporting smaller equipment or just for around the house for just about anything. I use it to move my 50 lb powered monitor speaker along with a cymbal case and two other small but heavy cases at the same time.

Well built, yet light weight, easily folds together flat for easy storage when not in use. The wheels are nice and turn smoothly and the handle is adjustable. Very handy little cart for the money.

Really pleased with this trolley. Well engineered, easy to fold, good sized covered pocket (many others are too small) useful net bag, and has full size front wheel for the occasional rough unlike some piddly alternatives.

Not severe or bad. just seems like there should be a point in the adjustment spectrum where it would roll straight when pushed down a slight hill in incline. Overall satisfied with product. Good value for the price.

There is a design flaw in the caddy lite. The locking hinge in the center of the cart is under torsional stress that is is bound to fail and break. This would not be an issue if this company would answer its emails and calls.

I’ve left numerous messages and emails but it has been fruitless. They offer nothing in the way of support for poor design. I’d not purchase the caddy lite I think there are better offerings into market.

This is a unique, well made cart which holds a lot and collapses nicely for easy storage. The only issue I have with it is the small wheels and how they get stuck in wide cracks and between uneven surfaces when there is an abrupt change in height between them.

This is especially so when the cart is heavily loaded. On more than one occasion it came to an instant stop when it hit a separation in the pavement where one side was higher than the other. A cart with larger wheels would have easily gone up and over the rise.

When traveling along at a good speed it seems like one is hitting a brick wall when it suddenly stops and won’t move. It’s then necessary to rock the cart and lift it over the bump. It’s an awkward bother.

Still, this cart has it advantages. It’s large and folds easily. Buy it if you will be primarily using it on flat even surfaces. If you’ll be using it on city sidewalks with pavement gaps you’re better off with a heavy duty cart with large wheels.

I believe that will serve you better. I own both, so know what I’m talking about.

I absolutely love the Versacart! We have a girls group that goes shopping a few times a year to a big outlet mall. One of the girls had one of these on our first trip and it was amazing! This kit came with everything needed to fit my Traxxas Rustler, and installation was simple and straight forward. The bearings that came in the kit are rubber sealed and smooth, they seem well made so far.

All the steel parts in this kit are thick and seem as though they will have very good longevity. I noticed two things when installing this kit that could be slightly concerning. The first is a slight fitment issue with the hub’s.

The lower pin is rather tight and could cause some binding in the suspension travel. The second is with the retainer ring that helps hold the upper pin in. It has a small split in it that the pin can slip out of should the grub screw come loose.

This is a GREAT little cart, and I suggest you buy this model of the Magna Cart instead of the Personal Magna Cart. You can tell the apart in the pictures by that horizontal bar across the top, right below the straight handle.

This model, the Ideal, has a rounded handle, and is missing that bar. Both of them are rated at 150 lbs max weight, but this one is more durable. I know someone who has the personal, and he’s having some problems with it- I don’t remember exactly what, but when we talked about it, I came away with the feeling that mine was the more durable of the two models.

This is the “Ideal” version. It is hefty. Strong frame, heavy base platform, nothing filmsy about it at all. I’m glad I chose this one. It weighs almost 10 lbs when empty. The base platform is 15. 50″ across, and 11.

25″ deep, if measured between the wheels. If your boxes are wide enough that they will not be sitting back between the 2 wheels, then the base will be 9. 25″ deep. The cart is easy to maneuver. Let me stress again, this is not a rickety little hand truck.

You bungee-cord a container, that you know will fit through your front door, onto the Magna, then you fill the container with all those bags that you used to carry in several trips. Then you walk them into your house.

You’re done! See if you can find 2 collapsing containers, and keep them in the trunk for when you plan to buy so much that it will not fit into only one. Get extra bungees. Then you can double stack them on the Magna Cart.

Love the playmarket we go. can fit quite a lot. Have thus far only used it nice summer/fall weather. The cooler bag is a simple insulated bag. So to technically keep things cold you would need ice packs.

Also when your pushing the cart and its heavy – you need to make sure not to put all your pressure on the handle otherwise the handle starts to feel slighly lopsided. handle can also be adjusted to different heights.

cuz im tall at first it seemed sort of low on the highest height. Also wheels can seem a little sqeeky at first when you leave the cart for a week without use (but that quickly disappears – if you do find alot of squeaks or wheels not working – try wd40 first.

Overall I love this cart and very impressed how much it carries.

Both me and my assistant have back problems. We use this rolling car when groceries are delivered to the house/office. The items are just placed in the cart from the porch and wheeled into the building for easy distribution.

We love it.
