I got this set for my dad as a Father’s Day present. He loves to barbecue, and was very excited to receive it. Everything is packaged and presented nicely, and the box includes easy to follow instructions on how to begin using wood chips, as well as a suggested recipe to go with each type of wood.

My dad has used wood chips in the past, but found some new information in the instructions. It’s worth noting that the instructions indicate that an entire box of chips is meant for a single use, meaning the chips included in this set are enough for three uses.

Overall, this is a great present for anyone who loves grilling and wants to expand beyond the basics.

The product arrived *almost* as described and seems to be of good quality. I purchased this set because I am conscious about my consumption of plastics, so I chose the bamboo set because it was the only grill tool set featuring that sustainable material.

The tools are indeed made of bamboo and metal, but the storage box is unfortunately made of plastic designed to look like bamboo. That is a disappointment. Cusinart, I would gladly have paid an additional $10 for you to have made the box out of bamboo (or another sustainable, eco-friendly material) as well.

I hope that manufacturers start becoming more responsible.

I really like this Cuisinart grill set!! We use it all the time. The pieces are light weight and easy to use. Cleaning the pieces are easy. The storage case they come in is really handy to have. I haven’t used the skewers yet, don’t really care for vegetables.

I do wish there were more pieces for the corn on the cob, we eat a lot of it in the summer! I would highly recommend this set.

My used item arrived without blades which I understood at the time of purchase. I purchased blades before it arrived so I was ready. I used abrasive cutting disks for a few small metal work jobs and was really impressed with the tool.

My next project was a granite tile counter top. The Dremel tile blade I purchased separately cut through the Hardy backer board (cement board) like a hot knife through butter. When I got to the actual granite tile, it cut the granite as well as my dedicated tile saw.

The only negative I have so far is battery life in this tool. 2Ah batteries don’t last long before needing a recharge. I have numerous 12v Milwaukee batteries so it was a minor inconvience to me. I recommend this tool if you intend to use it with the correct blade for the jpb you’re doing and don’t mind the drain on batteries.

This grill basket may be good for fish, but it was sold as also being good to grill vegetables. It is not good for sliced zucchini. The metal is very poor quality and the hinge end is too far open. When trying to turn the basket the slices slid out of the end and ended up on the grill.

It is advertised as being for vegetables, but I did not find that to be true. The metal is also very light weight and the lock is not very good, either. I guess you get what you pay for, but his was not the cheapest product available.

Exactly as described put my battery in it put a cutting wheel on it it works like new.

Good value as most other replacement pads were $20-35 EACH. Now these did not fit my GSP nerf bars but I made them fit. With a little grinding of the plastic pins/mounting areas I made them pretty flat on the underside.

Then used 4 self-tapping screws to each pad to mount. They were 2-3 in longer than my original pads but turned out to be a non-issue.

We have an outdoor griddle that we use a couple of times a week. Once you start griddling, you will hate to cook in any other way. I ordered the QuilMetal Breakfast Kit that includes a pancake dispenser, a bacon press, a burger press and 2 egg rings.

Each piece of this set is a nice kitchen gadget. With the pancake dispenser dispenses the right amount of pancake batter with a squeeze of the handle. The bacon press is a cast iron press that you can lay on top of bacon or other items that you want to put weight upon which keeps the bacon pressed out and keeps it from shrinking up.

The burger press is a gadget to help you make a burger patty. You put the raw hamburger meat into the bottom of the burger press and then take the top piece to press the burger into a shape that doesn’t fall apart while you are cooking it.

Everything is as described. The set was a good value. Loved everything except the egg collars. Not needed on my Blackstone and even after spraying with oil were difficult to clean. I gave them a 1 star and put in donation bag.

The lid for steaming and melting cheese on the burgers is PERFECT and some charge as much as I paid for the whole set just for the lid. That is really the reason I chose this accessory set as I wanted the dome lid.

Actually the spatulas and scraper were much heavier duty than I expected for the price. Tongs are just OK quality and egg rings are average quality. The box was not damaged; but still had a broken squirt bottle and the screw for the lid was wedged so tightly in the handle that I had to pry it out with a screw driver.

Overall good value for the money. Not worth the return for the bottle.

I really Like this unit. I’m glad I went with the 1050 because I never smoke one or two slabs of ribs, its always more. The searing is insane for grilling and if you use it in tandem with a sous vide, you are just asking for greatness.

The bottom shelf flips based on smoking or grilling for grill marks. Its also large enough to put a cast iron slab on for griddling if that’s your bag. Lighting a fire is easy and doesn’t require any special equipment.

I use 2 paper towels with some cooking oil on them and I get lit up easily, every time. I like how the fan cuts out when you open a panel so you don’t deal with smoke while you work on your food. The slats help to stop the fire so you don’t waste fuel.

This unit has made smoking things very easy to the point where I feel like I’m cheating on my stick burner. The temp gauge is close to accurate, but I would still recommend replacing the analog thermometer on the lid with a better, more accurate one with actual numbers.

It’ll help you calibrate your temp to what you really need. In order to get really solid smoke flavor, you need to get creative with how you stack the coal chute. You will need to put in larger chunks of wood, small logs, and even some large chunks of wood in the ash catch.

I have also seen people use separate smoke boxes to increase smoke flavoring. Couple of gripes. They need to reinforce the feed chute where the fire is actually present. You can buy a mod for it, but it requires 200 bucks and some surgery to remove parts to access the area you need to install it into.

The app is total garbage. Its a good thing I don’t rely on the app for anything, but it would be nice if it worked. There should also be 2 FULL shelves instead of the top one being recessed so that you can maximize smoker real estate.

Make sure you clean your unit and the metal manifold as it will rust FAST. Replacing it can cost up to 120 bucks. The lid handle does not allow you to do anything with the shelf while the lid is closed as it takes up all the space on the shelf that folds down.

Finally, there is a section where the drippings get past the drip tray and leak onto the bottom platform of the smoker. I’ve also seen this on some videos where people have the same thing happen to them.

If usually solidifies and doesn’t make a massive mess. All in all, I’ve already recommended this to some family members and even with the cons, its totally worth it.

I was in the market for a pellet smoker for over a year. I finally came down to wanting a Yoder but I stumbled over a review for the Gravity. I’m not sure how to word this but this is the Swiss Army knife of grills.

I wanted the ease of maintaining temp as a pellet grill but I also wanted the ability of being able to sear at high heat. What I love about the 800 is you can do all that but get the taste of cooking over an old school charcoal which if done right, hard to beat the flavor.

Then you add the fact that it can be converted to a griddle for smash burgers and cheesesteaks!! I think the most underrated feature of the Gravity is maintenance. You don’t need to empty the charcoal and vacuum out dust every use like you would with pellet grills.

Most wonder how is the smoking since using charcoals, it’s easy and produces great smoke with wood chunks. I have grilled/smoked/griddled everything you can think of and my wife would not let me replace this grill if I wanted to.

That is saying a lot as she originally didn’t think I should buy it. If you are in the market, definitely look at all the reviews on here and check out the Facebook page for gravity. You will see a trend of all pellet users trading their pellet grill in for a Gravity.

It also doesn’t hurt the $$ is where it is for all it does. I would pay double!! If I were to give any suggestion I would look into the 1050 and see how to modify that for a griddle.

May require two people to lift as the box it comes in (and a pallet) is heavy. Everything was included so no missing or broken parts. Took about less than an hour to assemble and no special tools needed.

Everything worked right out of the box. Loaded the app on my iPhone and connected to it via Bluetooth. Updated the firmware and I was off and running, or in this case, grilling! The only “mod” I made to it was I placed a thin piece of sheet metal on the lid opening to the hopper.

The lid still seals as it has a gasket surrounding the perimeter of the lid. Filled up the hopper with Kingsford Professional charcoals along with some Cherry wood chunks and used Tumbleweed starters to get the coals burning.

Set the temp to 225-degrees and within just a couple of minutes, my smoker was rising in the desired temperature. Impressive! Plus, it keeps the temperature within 3-degrees or so when you open the grill lid as it speeds up the blower fan to make up for the loss of hot air and smoke.

Again, very impressive! My smoke took about 5 hours to complete and I only used about 1/3 to 1/2 of a bag of charcoal. When done, I inserted the air dampers which after about 30 mins, the briquettes burned out leaving the un-burned briquettes in the hooper for the next smoke.

Love it! That’s a cost savings. Everyone that’s seen it is totally impressed by it. I’m proud of my Gravity Series 1050 charcoal grill and give it a full 5-star rating.

Great gift set for the person who loves to grill! They are sturdy and well built.

It is a novel idea, and fun. It is useful, but seems a bit small for a big guy, and no, the material and quality of the workmanship isn’t the best either, but then again, this is probably not meant to last forever, but mostly as a gag gift.

I do think it will last awhile though, it will be interesting to see!! I would buy it again!!! The price was better than other places too.
