15 Best Grill Waffle Maker Combo (2023 Updated)

I generally love Dash cookware. I own two of their yogurt makers as well as their egg cooker. They’re generally super cute and well-designed, which is why I chose this particular waffle maker. However, I returned it after one use because it was pretty awful.

Most importantly, it doesn’t cook evenly. If you fill all the wells up, it causes the top plate to rise. Because the top plate is secured with hinges, only the front part rises while the back part closest to the hinges remains pressed down.

That results in the two front waffles being undercooked while the two back waffles are fully cooked. The side wells for the that make the waffle sticks are pointless. You have to overfill the waffle wells by A LOT before they run off into the waffle sticks area and if you’re pouring that much batter, you’ve made a huge mess all over the machine.

I only have your single waffle maker to compare to. I usually make waffles in large batches so having the ability to make 4 at once is such a time saver. The overflow channels minimize the mess of excess waffle mix.

With my first round of usage, waffles were sticking to the upper iron despite using cooking spray. Hopefully this will improve with subsequent uses.

I love being able to cook four mini waffles at a time and the overflow channels work great! My biggest complaint, other than buying it on Amazon and paying $49. 99, is that the spring loaded clip that they say to use only for storage gets engaged by the weight of the lid when using the waffle iron.

There is no way to NOT use it. Making matters worse is that when the waffles rise you cannot open it because of the clip. I feel like this is a last minute add on because it’s not mentioned in the manual but they did include a separate sheet that warns not to use it while cooking, but they don’t say how to not use it!! If it weren’t fir the clip I’d give it five stars.

I used the mini waffle maker last night, after reading the instructions. It is mostly intuitive to use, except for a few things. 1) You are not supposed to open the lid straight up, rather to the side to avoid burns.

While it is clearly said in the instructions, I think it should also be stickied on the actual waffle maker as that is easy to forget. It ended up taking me 40 mn to make about 12 waffles, not to mention you need to check to see if they are done, and if they are not check again, so you do lift the lid a lot.

2) The instructions do not give an estimate for how long to leave the waffle in. It says to take it out when done to your satisfaction. I understand that different people have different preferences, but I do wish they gave an estimate, for example, 2 for slightly underdone, 3 for done, 4 for crisp.

I will have to keep playing with it to find an ideal length of time, as of now they were not done enough to my satisfaction (cooked, but not crisp). For the $10 dollars I paid, and the 2 yr warranty that I got when I signed up I am very happy.

It cooks evenly, and while the outside feels a bit cheap the inside feels nice, and for $10 what do you expect? I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5 because I think it would be very easy for them to add a sticker on the lid, and an estimated cooking time.

It is perfect for making a few little waffles adding some fresh fruit on it or butter and syrup. It Cooks up soft or you can make it crispy it doesn’t take long so it’s a super quick breakfast in the morning if you need a fast on the go breakfast.

They offer different things like heart waffles or pancakes or cake pops. What I think would be neat if you could just change the insides out like to the waffle maker to the cake pop maker instead of having to buy each individual machine you can have one machine with interchangeable insides I think that would be a good idea.

Writing this review at this moment! This was totally worth the price I paid! It has cut my cooking time down significantly for morning waffles! If you have toddlers and work full time from home, you’ll appreciate this appliance and low cost! The size it perfect for kids and myself now that I am pregnant and cannot hold much down! It is truly nonstick which makes cleanup great.

The only thing I would fix is cleaning with soap and water can be tricky since the plates don’t detach. Overall, amazing and inexpensive product that is a must have for kids.

I’ve only used it once but I like it. It is obviously more time consuming than throwing some frozen waffles in a toaster, but they taste so much fresher when made with this gadget. It’s small and it definitely takes a while to make several waffles.

But in the long run it’s cheaper to buy waffle mix and make my own. Plus they taste better. I just find things to do for the few minutes the waffle is cooking. They cook fairly evenly, and be careful to not overfill it or it will start coming out the sides.

I only sprayed it once with non stick cooking spray and 6 waffles later they still came right up with no sticking. My only issue is the top is loose. Not sure if this to allow for room in case waffle expands to much or if it is a defect.

Will definitely keep an eye on it.

If you have severe allergies like myself this stuff works GREAT!! I get hay fever, which causes a ton of congestion. I have not been able to breath clearly in 3 weeks. I’ve tried every home remedy. I’ve taken allergy medicine & Mucinex daily.

I did the Netti Pot 2x daily. I have a humidifier with oils that help you breath better, but none of it was working. A friend recommended this but I skeptical as I don’t have a cold & didn’t think it would work.

I did 1 spray into each nostril took a deep breath & I instantly felt my nasal passages begin to clear up!!! It’s now been 4 hours & I have had to blow my nose for the occasional drippy nose but other than that I can clearly breathe.

I have not slept through the night in weeks & I am so excited to finally get some good sleep!!.

Add to pre-warmed waffle maker) So the non stick feature worked wonderful!! My eggs cooked so quick and fluffy and yummy. Going to try waffles this week too. I highly recommend getting one. Not only does it take little space, it warms up quickly, and cooks quickly.

Aren’t waffles just pancakes with abs? Dash’s Mini Waffle Maker is awesome, and given the choice, I’d go for waffles any day over pancakes. I was a bit skeptical with Dash’s product line since I hadn’t heard of their brand until I learned about chaffles.

Wow! I couldn’t be more wrong, I love Dash’s kitchen items. The chaffles are the perfect size/serving; I use a small ice cream scoop and it fills out nicely. Side note: I may have to upgrade as my family of 6 doesn’t have the bandwidth to wait for individual waffles.

I bought this a few months ago and I have absolutely no regrets! My daughter loves waffles and I wanted to find an easy way for her to make them whenever and as quick as possible. This was the best machine for it! Anytime she was feeling like she wanted to make waffles for herself and her siblings she would simply take it out and fifteen minutes later, you have waffles.

The size of the waffle maker is just perfect. Easy to store and the mini waffles make you feel like you ate guilt free 🙂 It comes with different recipes that are equally as good as the original ones that we make.

And even better you can experiment with this machine as well, I highly recommend putting in pre baked cinnamon rolls into the machine. This waffle maker was such a good find at Crate and Barrel that we went and bought two.

I was very disappointed in how small the waffle is. I thought my two great grands (4 & 5 yr olds) would enjoy them, but my goodness, I would have to make quite a number in advance and keep warm before serving them.

If the size of the waffle was listed in the ad brochure, I missed it. I don’t know if I can return it to the local Sam’s, but would love to. I doubt I will ever use it. If anyone has a practical use for it, I would love to hear it.

Super cute. Takes a while to make a bunch of waffles as they are mini. but so cute and worth the wait. Could be used to make cookie waffles, cake waffle pops, or anything creative like that! I like my waffle maker! Chocolate waffles with whip cream and strawberries are adorable for Valentine’s Day or an Anniversary.

I thought because it said deluxe and I paid more that maybe it may be better than the regular dash waffle makers. Compared to the regular version, it isn’t. Disappointed. I gave it 3 stars because the cleaning brush is decent.

Works Great! Love the size of these mini waffles. Perfect for my kids in the go. Just make a bunch and freeze them in advance for breakfast on the fun. The only reason I gave four stars is because the handle gets a bit hot.

It’s easy to just grab a paper towel or something to help hold it when lifting for the waffles tho.

I already have the mini waffle maker, and the regular waffle maker as well, but with two little kids, when I saw this I just knew they’d love the mini size. And I was right! We have made many mini waffles, and they keep asking for more.

Absolutely love the bite maker. I use it instead of the donut maker. Makes sweet, savory and bread like bites. I make a no fat high protein bite. Excellent. No end to the flavorings. Orange,truffle, cinnamon any choice.

ELECTRIC MULTI GRILL & WAFFLE so many things to say. so lets start with the griddle. You can do so many things. If you have a big family it definitely helps with cutting time especially with breakfast foods!! So far ive tried pancakes, chicken nuggets, and veggies.

I love the grill. Grilling chicken on it is amazing. My only con with the grill is that you cant grill hamburger patties because it makes a really big mess with the grease and the grease pan fills up so fast making it even more of a mess.

Now the waffle maker is amazing. They come out nice and fluffy and they come out perfect each time. Now lets talk about the settings. you can choose between using bottom grill or using both. It comes with reversable plates for grill and griddle.

It has a timer which is nice. Definitely worth it.

This has been a huge hit in my family! I have 3 kids who love grilled cheese. You just preheat the griddle, place the grilled cheese on and set the timer. I would have loved for the manual to have some recipe suggestions and cooking times/tempetures.

I has to do a little experimenting to find out the perfect temp and time. The only issue I am having is some how it went to celsius and I have no idea how to change it back to fahrenheit. I have read the manual many times and searched online.

Thankfully I can just google the temps. Overall its a great griddle. I can’t wait to make waffles with it.

This has so many uses. There are so many different things you can do with it. Make waffles, French toast, steak, pork chops. Anything!!!! I haven’t even turned my stove on all week! The controls are easy to figure out and it’s easy to remove and add the plates.

They are so easy to wash also. Can be thrown right in the dishwasher if you want. I do wish they had included some recipes and a little bit of detail on how to cook different things, especially temps.

It’s hard to find recipes online using this type of grill, but overall I am extremely happy with it!!!.

Nice little waffle maker for the money. Do NOT let children use it however, as the handle is hot and you need a potholder to open the lid when waffle is done. It’s just right for the two of us and we enjoy waffles from this maker frequently, keeping in mind to have a potholder handy.

Waffle iron heats up quickly and the waffles are ready in no time even at the darkest setting. We really like it except for the hot handle and hot stainless steel surface (hence the 3 stars rating). Must be VERY careful, but you can get the hang of it.

We got ours for much less then what it sells for now. Why the price difference I wonder.

I like that this stands upright for storage. Makes it so easy to take it out rather than storing on top of/ or under something. The first time it was heated it, it had a horrible smell. I don’t know if it was because I hadn’t gotten all the soap off from the first washing although I did rinse it twice (with clean towel).

I let it cool down and started over. No bad smell but I did throw out the first waffle (only need to do when waffle iron brand new) following directions for another waffle iron I use to have. It doesn’t make quite as deep as a Belgian waffle but it is not as thin as a typical waffle either.

The waffles didn’t stick and didn’t leave any crumbs on the grid (big plus for me!), which may have been because I didn’t have any butter on hand so used oil in my recipe. I still wish it had removable grids.

I really like that you can pick the crispness you want although the highest setting was not any browner (4 stars only) then any of the other settings – the difference of the waffle as far as crisp or soft isn’t a great difference on any of the settings.

The difference was very subtle but I liked the lowest setting and family members like the highest. The top grid heats higher than the bottom one – top of waffle browner then bottom. In the instructions there is no indication of how much batter you can put in the maker.

Ugh! I didn’t want it over flowing so the first few were too small until I figured out how much the “right” amount was. Also when I searched if any recipes for this maker found it is no longer made. So makes the question if I would recommend this product rather obsolete.

Over all this isn’t a bad little waffle maker, do I wish it had a few more amenities? Yes but for making basic waffles it is really nice. I plan to use it at least couple times a month as long as it keeps the non-stick.

It does not have a light to show you when the waffle is done but I used the one setting at halfway. you time it for 5 -6 minutes for a perfect waffle. I think you can pour more than 1/3 cup of batter onto the grids to actually fill out the waffle but I followed the instructions and the waffle was not quite full enough.

My first try was nevertheless a success. Its a learning curve and next time I’ll use more batter but makes perfect Belgian waffles! I really like this waffle iron-for the price and quality it is a very good buy.

Plug it in. the red light somes on. it preheats pretty fast-about 3 minutes. when the iron is ready the green light comes on. It is very easy to use and clean.

What a great product very simple to operate just butter the bread, layer your ham, cheese, tomato, cucumber, lettuce and put it in and close! It’s difficult to clean melted cheese under the nook and crannies because you have to unscrew some parts to give it a proper clean so that it doesn’t smell of burnt ingredients.

Overall an easy product with a large base for toastie sandwiches and a nice waffle maker too!.

Great for toasties, acceptable for waffles (patience helps) and doesn’t really take a lot of room. Not terribly hard to clean, but get to it quick. Don’t let it sit around and don’t cook on it if you haven’t cleaned if from the previous meal.

The plates are dishwasher safe though, so there’s no reason to not keep up. Great! We like it!.

Not the smallest so we’ve had to rearrange the cupboard but we didn’t buy it for that. We bought it because we can make toasties and waffles to a high standard, every time! Cleaning is dead easy too.

Very happy. And a two year warranty, no reason not to buy this!!.

Received Kalorik 47480 waffle maker as a Dec Christmas time gift. Used just 3 times over a period of 2 months before it broke!? I was pulling waffle maker open to extract a waffle, (using the PULL tab) and the bracket part holding the pull tab in place broke! How disappointing! Is this a fluke or a deficient design? Only way to know is for Kalorik to send me another waffle maker (or at least the part that broke which is held in by 4 screws).

The waffle maker itself is well constructed and sturdy. I also like that there is a place to wrap the cord, and is made to stand upright for storage purposes. My only complaint is that the waffles are thicker than traditional classic waffles.

The thickness is in between classic waffles and Belgian waffles. Also, there is no dial to control the cook of the waffle (like a toaster dial).

Shallow and run over messes most of the time and so difficult to clean as the plates do not remove. Really didn’t like this machine and in fact bought a different one with removable plates. Don’t recommend this one.

We live in an RV, so space is a big concern. This waffle maker stores with the round waffle iron sideways and has a folding handle, so it’s storage footprint is the smallest I’ve seen for a full size waffle maker.

I also like that it has a green ready light on both sides. I had to sell my large heavy duty waffle maker when we moved into the RV which felt like a real loss until we got this one. I love it. It browns nicely and is quick.

I ordered this item and after reading the reviews had some doubts as to it cooking evenly or spillage. I set it on medium setting and let it heat to temperature, sprayed it with butter cooking spray and had perfect waffles.

I tried one without spray and the batter spilled a little. After that, I continued spraying each time and all of them turned out perfectly, so I made an abundant supply and put them in the freezer. Now we can heat them in the microwave for one minute and they taste as though they were just made.

Saves a lot of time for breakfast.

We have had this waffle cone maker for 5 months now. We make a large batch of waffle cones each day. However, we have gotten to the point where the non stick plates have lost their non stick and now all of our waffle cones stick which renders this maker useless.

We have followed the manufacturers suggestions for maintaining the non stick, but it didn’t seem to help. Also, the top “lid” is very wobble and doesn’t latch to anything, so if you’re not careful, cones with come out uneven.

As time went on with the waffle maker, it would sometimes cook unevenly. One side would be perfect, but the other side would be a little darker. All in all, for the price I think this is a good option for casual cone making.

If you are planning on using this as your primary maker and making a lot of cones, I would suggest upgrading to something nicer.

I’ve bought three of these waffle makers and I must say I’m very disappointed and will never buy again. They don’t hold consistent heat, and you can’t clean these waffle makers. I originally bought two but then bought another one because I thought I was operating it wrong.

Come to find out I was doing everything right. The heat coil to these machines goes out very fast. The keep tripping my breaker and I’m just fed up. I don’t recommend buying.

Yes the unit is a little funky in regards to the heating element. The back left corner seems to cook faster than the rest of the cooking surface, HOWEVER, it is not much of a problem for us. As with anything, adapt and you can figure it out.

We take the waffle off just a few seconds early and always get a pretty good result. I would recommend the unit as it is priced much better than comparable units.

Very happy with the quality of this waffle iron. It needs to be really hot to work effectively. Kids were happy with our waffle adventures. We have ordered a second one so we can make double the waffles in the same amount of time.

Was highly recommended, haven’t tried it yet but it looks great quality.

Well that Petromax is a good and well known brand is nothing new.. that’s just a fact. Shipping was a bit slow.. but not a problem. So all in all a good deal.
