20 Best Grill Cover For Weber Spirit 210 (2023 Updated)

I watched a few you tube videos on how to replace these tubes, and some of them, were just not right. A few were, and I had no problem doing the change out. I used a old large piece of cardboard, took things apart and layed it out on that cardboard, in relative positions.

The three knobs for the tubes popped right off, the igniter button popped off, and the igniter removed with a small screw driver pushing on the plastic tabs to release it. One screw got the right side controls cover off.

The two bolts holding the manifold cam out (used a proper socket wrenh and extension), and that was all released. After removing the grates, the flavor angle irons, and using a small brass brush to clear ash from the 3 screws at the far end of the old burner tubes, they slid out, with a little help of a flat blade screw driver to help move them about 1/4 of an inch from under the snug down screws.

The three tubes and the cross over tube (or what was left of them) came right out, and assembly and insert of the new burner tubes was just easy. Good time to clean out the bottom. All works, and its even burning again.

Took one hour max.

I had two Weber gas grills and when the burner tubes rusted out on my other grill the junk collector got a nice piece of scrap. When this happened with my second grill ( 20 yr old model) I was smart enough to check the web to learn I could replace the burners.

I checked Weber’s site and identified what I thought was my model. Wrong I learned when I contacted customer service via text. This helped immensely and we were able to identify the correct model. I really appreciated this service as it made very easy to deal with getting the correct burner.

I also learned that I could also replace the flavor bars so I did. Total cost was about $100 foe both items but given the solid structure of the grill I really was not interested in getting a new model.

My other gas Weber was a fancier and newer model but I prefer my older model as the grill is more solid. Once I figured out that my model was the newer ( 2002) of the two models described in the instructions the seven or so step process was pretty straight forward if you have basic tools ( screw driver and a wrench).

The instruction pictures helped as well which showed the two models that use the same part.

$60’ish bucks for a set of replacement stainless steel burner tubes allowed me to restore my 14 year old Genesis Grill to it’s original performance. After so many years of heat cycles, the old tubes were rusting to the point that the flame was no longer uniform along the length of the burner and cooking was uneven.

I had started looking for a replacement grill, but comparable units were over $1,200!! So, I pulled up the Weber website and found the very modestly priced replacement burner tube set. Removal of the old burner and installation of the new was very easy.

And viola, I saved myself a bunch of $$$. With any luck, I’m good for another 14 years!.

Overpriced grill that lacks quality material. I’ve owned this for a year now and have cooked throughout the seasons. This cooks well enough, and seems to keep a decently even temperature in the middle and rear.

Though the front tends to cook cooler. My issues are with the quality of the exterior. The stainless components are an incredibly cheap form of “stainless. ” Unless you clean after each use with recommended cleaner and microfiber cloth it will stain and discolor.

Which seems ridiculous for an outside grill. Which I also keep covered. There is much better quality stainless material available and for the price, this grill shouldn’t be that delicate. The painted lid isn’t much better.

The “porcelain-enameled” cast iron grates are “meh,” they require just as much upkeep and care as regular cast iron. My issue is with how thick the grates are, it just increases the surface area that is going to stick to your food.

If they were about half the thickness they would probably be better. Overall, I expected better quality and less delicacy for the price and from Weber, though it does cook decently. For the next question on the form, “would you recommend this product to a friend?” Yes, but only if you buy it heavily discounted, it certainly isn’t “quality” for the full MSRP.

This is my second Spirit II grill. The first one was great but after 8 years of my neglect and the wet weather in Florida – it finally rusted beyond repair (although one burner still worked). Most of the rust was on the inside of the doors that contained the gas cylinder and around the small wheels underneath.

This time I bought on with the ability to hang the gas on the outside and it has 2 larger wheels on one side instead of 4 small ones under the main grill – it seems less affected by the wet, humid weather.

Its also easier to hang the propane cylinder on the outside beneath the permanent shelf on the right side. Note that only the shelf on the left side folds down. The grill starts up like a champ and with the two burners on high can reach 450° F in a few minutes.

It has enough room on the cooking grills to cook enough “meat” for probably 8 hungry people. So unless you think you will be barbecuing for the entire neighborhood – you can buy this two burner instead of the larger 3 burner.

Overall it’s a great, well made gas grill that sells for a very reasonable price. It’s also important to know that buying replacement parts and extra add-ons is easy to do either on line or at major home repair stores.

This cover is very generous, sturdy and tough. Very well stitched and put together. We have a similar fabric one on another grill that is 3 yrs old and stays out all year round ( Minnesota weather ) and it still looks like new so I’m planning on this to be the same.

I got this 70” size to fit our 60”wide, 48” tall, 24” deep grill. It is a very generous fit and goes down to the floor all around. It has an elastic drawstring on the bottom and 4 clip straps to attach to legs/wheels.

I’ve had some high winds since I’ve had it and it stayed on without using any of these but they are there for back up. It is easy to put on because it is sturdy and not flimsy when putting on. It is a light color as is the other one I have but that has not been a problem for gathering dirt.

I’ve had vinyl before that cracks, tears easily and collects dirt so you have to clean it all the time before removing from grill.

We have bought two of these. The first one lasted 3-4 years and was disintegrating after the third season. Because we were so impressed by the weight of the material and the design, we bought another, thinking that we had done something wrong.

We paid closer attention to the second one. Again four seasons passed and we are shopping for another cover. The first thing to go was the straps. then it began to come apart at the seams. The material would give off dust when shaken or wiped, which is the material degrading.

It turns out that these covers do not withstand UV, and we are in southwest British Columbia, not Arizona. Not buying a third one.

Nice product good quality and seems to be holding up well. We will see how long it takes to fade. A little expensive but do far worth it.

This should be required when you purchase a Magma Grill. My first cover lasted longer than the grill itself even though it showed wear and tear. I replaced my old grill with a newer and bigger one and of course, I needed a new cover.

High quality for the price you pay – you get what you pay for!.

A cover for my new Magma Grill is essential to keep it out of the weather. It is a good looking, well designed unit and it fits the grill perfectly. In my opinion, however, I’d prefer Magma not place it’s name/logo on both front, and back, of the cover as the grill, mount and bright blue cover is a tempting, expensive purchase.

We purchased this grill at the start of the 2021 grilling season to take with us on our day trip excursions. This grill is lightweight, compact and extremely versatile – capable of EASILY cooking enough burgers and steak for 6-8 people in short order.

At one point during the summer we were using this grill everyday to cook lunch and dinner and on the odd occasion even breakfast using the optional griddle plate. The Q1200 follows similar design language to previous Weber Q models however, there are some notable features in the Q1200 that make the tiny price premium over the standard Q1000 worth splurging on.

These features include sturdy thermoplastic side tables that fold into the grill for storage, a temperature gauge, increased dome height (great if you like cooking taller items like whole chickens), and lastly, a fully electronic ignition system that is fast, easy, and reliable to use.

The grill’s interior sports a porcelain enamel coated cast iron cooking grate that is strategically designed to shield the gas ports (to prevent clogging and flare ups) on the burner from the food drippings.

Heat is very even and can get hot enough to sear steaks without much effort. The gas inlet port is integrated with the gas pressure regulator and is designed such that it can accommodate the standard 1lb propane camping cylinders or be used with larger home style BBQ tanks using the accessory gas hose.

While this grill is typically marketed to ideally cook for 4 that in reality, this grill has EASILY cooked for 6-10 people. The grill space is generous and the height of the domed lid allows you to push food right to the edge of the grill to maximize your cooking space.

I’ve cooked 5 large steaks, a whole chicken along and have made an entire 3 course breakfast for 6 using the accessory griddle plate. Cleanup is a cinch as the grill’s smooth curving design allows fat and grease to slide into a generously sized drip tray located centrally at the bottom of the grill.

The cooking grates, while mostly cleanable by simply burning it off can be easily removed in 2 small sections and soaked in a sink of warm soapy water. Weber not only created the perfect portable grill but they’ve escalated the Q name into another world by offering an entire ecosystem of Q series accessories.

The list of useful add-ons is extensive and allows a Q owner to scale their grill to suit their needs. I’d argue this grill is so versatile that it can likely outperform (if not outright replace) lesser home BBQs.

I have trusted the Weber name for the past 20 years and expect nothing but quality and perfection and the Weber Q1200 is no exception. Its extremely well made and I would expect this thing to easily last me 20+ years.

Like all Weber products, you can buy replacement parts for their grills at VERY reasonable prices much of which, are still available for 30+ year old products. Look no further if you’re considering a compact grill.

Nothing in this size and price class can even compete with the Q series grill. Competitors have tried numerous times to make a better product but end up copying elements of Weber’s design. I guess copying and mimicking a Weber Grill is the greatest form of flattery after all :).

So I bought my first Weber Genesis Grill this past Christmas to replace a 25-year old grill of a different manufacturer that I’d had since new. It was reliable as a rock, had 3 rebuilds over the years but the poor thing was ready to fall apart.

The Genesis grill was a terrific upgrade and gave me an idea of the quality of the Weber brand. We got a new travel trailer in January 2022 and we needed a reliable grill to take on our camping excursions.

Naturally, I started looking at a suitable Weber grill to fill that need. After much looking at all of the various “portable” models I decided on the Q1200 since we didn’t really need anything bigger since it’s just the wife and myself.

The Q1200 is a great little grill for our camping excursions. It’s neat and compact and it’s almost like they designed it to fit in the storage compartment of our Arctic Fox 25W camper. I did buy an aftermarket 8-foot braided stainless steel adapter hose to be able to use a 20# propane tank versus the 1# disposable canisters because of the ridiculous cost of the 1# canisters that are about 4X the cost of bulk propane.

The adapter hose still allows the use of the 1# canisters if that is what you have available without any modifications to the grill. Ultimately, I might modify the grill to hook up directly to the camper’s propane system, but that’s down the road.

The grill itself works great for 2-3 people though it loses heat very fast when the lid is opened to flip the burgers, hotdogs, chicken or steaks. You definitely have to cook with the lid closed. From my experience, you’ll get maybe 2-3 grill sessions out of a 1# canister so you’d better take several with you if that is your choice of fuel sources.

With the 20# tank it’s not much of a concern as you can lift the tank and readily tell if you have enough fuel for a camping trip. If it’s low, fill the 20# tank up for $10-$12 @ $3/gallon. Make sure you get spare aluminum pans to catch the drippings out of the bottom of the grill too.

They tend to blow away if it gets windy and they definitely are needed if you’re cooking steaks or chicken as the meat tends to drip A LOT!.

Excellent little grill for the most part, which reflects Weber’s consistency in excellent quality and overall design. The gas-control knob actually does regulate the flame very well to provide different cooking settings.

I have had other Weber grills (gas and charcoal) and they were all good investments for the money. My current purchase of the Q1200 portable grill has, so far, been a very good experience, but there are a couple of minor aspects of the product’s design that could use improvement.

First is my frustration in cleaning cast iron grates which constantly need attention to mitigate food residue and fat buildup. Coating the cast iron grates with a ceramic enamel coating only improves the cleaning process minimally.

Polished stainless steel grates, which for me, has been easier to clean, should be offered at least as an upgrade option. Second, the interior surface of the lower cook-box should be polished to a smoother finish in order to facilitate better drainage of food juices and debris to the little collection pan underneath.

Even with the current design being well-executed, buildup on the wall surfaces is still a problem. This clean-up issue has been experienced in my other grill (Weber ‘Spirit II’) as well, and may or may not be something Weber can reengineer economically.

But,. at he end of the day,. I’m still happy in my purchase. Weber continues to be the leader in grilling products. Thanks for listening.

Great hard to find item, they fit fine on my Charbroil 4 burner grill, may need to bend very slightly in crease to fit tabs into holes on your grill, but easy to do and install. My grill works so much better now, these plates will eliminate hot spots on grill, so you have even heating of grates, and also protects burner tubes from clogging with grease.

A must have for your older grill, you can get a couple more years use of your older grill instead of buying and assembling (ugh !!) a new one !!! Highly recommend !!!.

It was very easy to check the specifications on this product. The pictures were helpful and the measurements were spot on. The shields fit my grill perfectly. I would do business with this merchant again.

Just bought a cover for my Napoleon Lifestyle BBQ which is 63 inches wide and 23 inches deep and 48 inch high. This cover fits it very well. This BBQ was discontinued but carries on in different name.

It is a light cover but made with a coating for moisture. Has straps on each side to cinch it tight to your BBQ. The measurements given in the product description was written by someone that doesn’t know what width, depth, and height mean.

And what good is giving the measurements of the package?.

It is the most durable cover that I have had, …ever, in 20 years. It fits perfectly and easily. Just loosen the 2 end straps and it slips right off and on. Never had to do anything extra to keep it on and we have a lot of wind here.

This is my second one because it is so good. The first is 3 years of year round service and still good. I thought I would get a spare just in case they stopped making them!! UV has not damaged it at all !! Very highly recommend this cover!.

Great quality cover for my new Rogue 525 series bbq. Appears to be a fabric-like waterproof material that’s more flexible and durable than cheap vinyl-like covers. Have been using it for a couple of months in summer heat, heavy wind and rain, and even hail, and it hasn’t come close to blowing off.

Handy velcro on the front for accessing the storage cabinet without needing to take off the cover. Two plastic D-rings on either side of the top make it easy to handle, and are great for hanging it up while you’re grilling.

I basically got the cover for free by using the Canadian Tire “money” I received when I bought the bbq. Time will tell if it is worth the rather expensive price tag.

Update late July 2022 (I was unable to figure out how to update the original review) Weber sent me a new controller interface but it does not work any differently; I still have to unplug the 2-PIN connector to make the USB power work, which is very cumbersome to do.

My advice to Weber is (a) fix the electrical hardware and (b) mount the controller in the exact same way, except extend the housing to so that the unit wraps under the grill and up on the side edge a little thus providing easy access to a USB-C connector.

And finally, have an integrated rubber cover for the USB port. Purchased July 2022: If you don’t plan to use a USB power bank then some of this review won’t matter, since plugging the grill into an electrical socket works just fine.

USB Power: Be aware that this product ships with a manufacturing design defect that according to Weber themselves and my own personal experience: (a) You must unplug a hard to reach 2-pin connector otherwise the USB power probably won’t work and then reattach the 2-pin connector after grilling so that it doesn’t rust – all according to Weber’s own FAQ website.

(b) The usb power bank is not something you leave connected permanently, which makes sense, but the usb type-c connector is near the 2pin connector – so both are cumbersome to reach. (c) The usb rubber cover is tiny so you will probably lose it as it’s not attached to the grill.

An integrated rubber cover would have been better. I bought this grill knowing I would not use an electrical outlet, but because of the poor design of the USB power it overrides any other feeling I have about this expensive product.

If Weber at least came out with a component upgrade so that I don’t have to keep reattaching the 2-pin connector I would be mostly satisfied save for the hard to reach usb connector. Assembly: Assembly was fairly straightforward and the assembled unit fit and finish is great.

I took my time and completed the assembly in two evenings. I don’t see it taking only 2 hours FYI but maybe if you had a helper that was also reading the next steps. A couple of the metal fascia trim pieces were bent as delivered because of the soft metal.

I used a rolling pin to easily even it out. I used both the printed install guide and BILT 3d app since sometimes one supplemented the other. I will say it was excellent to be able to zoom into the 3d view of the grill and hone in on how something was connected.

I found small little differences between the literature and reality about how best to thread a wire for example, or the fact that so long as you can sort of think through the assembly step you’re on you’ll be fine.

It can be a mostly 1 person job except for lifting the grill top and bottom to their positions. Packaging: Excellent, well marked boxes and contents – minus one tedious issue: The stainless steel has the protective wrap melted onto it in such a way that the wrap even goes into creases and things were obviously screwed in after the wrap applied.

So, the wrap was painful to pull off because it adhered almost too well and then it was somewhat difficult to get it out of the nooks and crannies.

I had pretty high expectations for this grill…I have a co worker who sings the praises of this Weber Genesis, an older model he has had for years and continually gushes about. He is an avid grillsman, so we knew the Genesis S-435 would probably suit our needs as well, but even so, we were blown away at how well this grill performs, all the details that make outdoor cooking simpler, and how this thing is built to last, and last, and last.

It arrived in perfect condition, in a quite heavy box, filled with smaller, well marked boxes that once removed, made moving the large box doable between my husband and I. Using the included booklet, but mostly the BILT app, it took my husband a bit over 2 hours to construct.

The app is great, using motion and the ability to rotate to see every quarter, it makes all instructions clear. Had I, or anyone given him more of a hand, it would’ve gone much faster, but he was pretty excited and didn’t want to wait on help.

The Weber Genesis is built with heavy duty components, and I have no doubt about how long it will hold up. The grates and the flame covers are thick and dense, and won’t rust away for a very long time…a problem that lesser grills certainly struggle with, even with regular maintenance and constant cover from the weather.

The temperature gauge is large and accurate, and the grill maintains steady, constant heat, and doesn’t lose an undo amount when opening to check your food. I love that it has a gauge on the outside the measures how much propane you have, so you are never caught flatfooted mid-cook, which is an absolute disaster, especially when entertaining guests.

It uses weight to determine how much LP you have, so it isn’t an exact measure, but it’s close enough to alert you when you should fill up. There are hooks aplenty, so finding a place to hang tools, accessories or rags won’t be an issue.

The cabinet beneath is large enough for your propane tank, the burn off and grease collection system, and room to spare for other accessories. Too, there is a side compartment that is quite tall and deep (I’ve included a photo with a soda can for scale), which is great for anything, but in particular the Weber Veggie Basket and Pizza Stone, which I’ll review soon.

There is also a small basket for smaller items attached to the door, which I use to hold a flashlight for cooking at twilight. The wheels spin smoothly, and can be locked in place. The grill is well balanced and level.

Lastly and most important, how does it cook? Excellently. I get a more consistent cook using the Weber than I’ve had with any other grill. On those lesser models, I’ve had to rotate my meats across the grates to circumvent hot and cool spots, but using the Genesis means I don’t have to babysit our dinner.

Using the temperature gauge, and the consistency of the Genesis’ heat, I have been rewarded with perfectly cooked meals (perfectly cooked by the grill, not accounting for user error, to which my husband and I are prone).

Too, using the Sear Zone, I can lock in the flavor before moving our foods it to a a more moderate side of the grilling surface. The side burner works excellently, and the grill itself doesn’t have to be on to use it, which is a plus since this isn’t always the case.

Lighting the grill has been flawless…you do have to use the “ignite” button on each knob you want to turn on, which is a feature I like but was unfamiliar with. As you can see, we are incredibly happy with the Weber S-435, and I’m already shopping for more accessories on their website.

Next up for me is the smart cooking device, which I’m excited to get my hands on. We are completely satisfied, and recommend without reservation!.

The weather has been atrocious where I live, a very rainy spring, people hereabouts are referring to the sixth month as “Juneuary”. Consequently, the grill has only been used five times. So far, so good; it does what it is designed to do.

I upgraded from a three burner Genesis bought new in 1996, primarily to get a better indirect cooking area. Back then, the burners were placed horizontally, so the indirect area was along the back or the front of the grates.

Even if only one of the three burners was used, the indirect area was long and skinny; not ideal for some items. Modern grills have the burners arranged front to back, plus, this is a four burner grill with more surface area, so the indirect area is rectangular and can be fairly large if only the far left or right burner is used.

I have only a few minor complaints, one theoretical, two practical. First, as opposed to my older grill, this unit does not have a “full frame”. By frame, I mean a full rigid box structure composed of square tubing.

This unit has a rectangular frame at the left and right, but they are held in place by sheet metal panels, on the sides, bottom, and back, as well as the burner box casting. This only theoretical, but the full frame seems like it would be stronger.

That said, the actual main box of grill is very rigid, and I don’t think it will be problem. However, the table work surfaces to the left and right of the main box are a different story. On the older grill, the upper horizontal frame rails extended a bit more than a foot the left and right of the burner box, and supported the work surfaces.

Since those extensions were part of the frame, the grill could be safely moved by lifting on those extensions. By contrast, the work surfaces on the E435 are sheet metal stainless steel formed into a box shape with a plastic end cap, which is attached to the frame with four bolts.

There’s definitely some flex if the grill is lifted by those shelves, and I’d say that should be avoided. However, this is a far heavier grill than the old model, and I miss the sturdiness of the old design.

Finally, at least one review I read pre-purchase mentioned the rubber cushions attached to lid that contact the burner box had fallen out right away. When I unboxed by unit, one was loose in the box, and the “cone” on the top of cushion was torn off, the other was nowhere to be found.

Since all the other hardware and small pieces were packaged in individual sealed bags, I didn’t think much of it until it was fully assembled, and there were no cushions included with those parts. It appears that the lid is shipped with the bumpers installed, and they fell out in shipment.

There was only one loose in the shipping carton; I have no idea what happened to the other. It may have fallen off before shipment, or fell out between the flaps of the box. There was also a small gash in the box which may have been due to shipping.

Whatever caused it, it did not damage the contents, but I may have been an exit point for the cushion. Since the cushions were apparently a poor fit and fell out in shipment, I saw little point in contacting Weber for replacements.

There is a bit of a clunk if the lid is closed without due care, but since my older grill never had those cushions, I don’t miss them. However, the issue does mar what is in most respects a fairly good product.

I’ve owned my Spirit E-210 since 2014, and I’ve just replaced the flavourizer bars for the second time in 8 years. These bars are meant to wear out eventually – and they do. Positioned immediately over the burner flame, they repeatedly get very, very hot.

In fact, when I use my girl at night, I can see the bars glowing red. Although I live in Canada, I use my grill year-round several times a week. I do not cover the grill with a tarp or a cover, but it is situated under a roof so it is out of the weather.

My point is, these bars are the part of the grill that will eventually wear out and will need to be replaced. It doesn’t mean the whole grill needs to be replaced. It’s much like the brake pads on your car – they are meant to wear out and be replaced.

Spend the $50-$60, and grill for another 4 years. When they rust through, replace them. Happy grilling!.

I remember the day when you bought a Weber grill and it lasted 20 years. Those days are clearly over. Had these pieces been built heavier, or of better quality steel, I’m sure they would have lasted longer.

Same goes with the propane rail. It seems, and this is pure conjecture on my part, that a designed in obsolescence makes for a good secondary parts market. As proof, look to the available inventory on Weber parts.

That said, the new parts look nice, and after a thorough cleaning and installation on my 5 year old grill, its operating like new again.

The flavorizer bars I ordered are carbon steel, for the Spirit 300 series, and fit exactly in my SP-320NG grill. The challenge was that if I had ordered the stainless steel bars for a bunch of model, including the SP-320 that I have, like I thought it would be, it wouldn’t have fit, since they are 7.

3 inches longer. I had to measure the bars’ length to make sure they would fit. I ordered the Spirit 300 series bars after measuring and comparing the technical specs. This is a fault of the Weber website, and should be corrected.
