20 Best Greens For Weight Loss (2023 Updated)

Maybe just a little background before I get into the review. I’ve suffered from chronic Ulcerative Colitis for more than a decade now. Had my colon removed in 2011 trying to get this disease under control.

It was unsuccessful and I’ve struggled to remain healthy and active due to this debilitating condition. Those familiar with gut autoimmune diseases are made aware by your doctors of what not to eat and it’s basically everything healthy from raw fruits and veggies, grains, nuts and legumes.

My weight had gotten out of hand by about 50 lbs. so I began using Pruvit Keytones in November and also became familiar some time ago with your products through the Timcast IRL podcast as you often a sponsor of the show.

I decided to supplement the nutrient part of my new diet with MetaboGreens in the evening and EssentialReds in the morning with my daily Prüvit Keytone drinks. The flavor of both the MetaboGreens and the EssentialReds are amazing.

To say I have a sweet tooth is an understatement as I typically used to drink 8 cans or more of Pepsi a day along with candy and anything else with sugar. I literally quit it all without any sugar cravings and I believe it has to do with how good, sweet and satisfying Biotrust’s products are.

The berry flavor is amazing! I plan on incorporating other Biotrust products into my diet gradually. Currently these two products are only subscription items I’ve signed up for but it won’t be the last.

Been testing out the OmegaKrill for about a month now and that will be the next subscription item on the list. Then it’s Ageless Multi-Collagen after that, once I use up another brand of Collagen powder I’ve already purchased.

So, I’ve been looking for a good powdered greens drink and after trying some of those online ones and not liking them taste wise I did a face palm slap for not trying the BioTrust MetaboGreens! I ordered immediately during one of their frequent sales and waited.

Once my delivery arrived I found to my dismay that they had shipped me someone else’s Multi-Collagen order! I emailed their customer service and got a quick reply telling me to keep the incorrect order (as a gift) and they’ll send my order immediately.

About 4 days later my correct order arrived! In the days waiting I actually researched what Multi-Collagen is and thought, “maybe I’ll try that too?” The MetaboGreens is actually delicious in my shaker bottle with some ice cubes and as far as I can tell it gives me more energy along with my body feeling overall better! I’ve also tried a combo mix of both the MetaboGreens and the Multi-Collagen since it has no taste.

And that combo is also awesome as my nails seem to be getting stronger. You have to understand that I work in a restaurant kitchen wearing disposable gloves all night long and the sweat, high stress and basically suffocating my hands 9hrs a night have made my nails brittle and my skin worn looking.

But since I’ve been drinking my MetaboGreens and the Multi-Collagen my skin looks healthier and my nails are no longer brittle! So a win-win! I am also take the Keto Elevate in my daily coffee and so far have lost over 15lbs which I give most of the credit to the Keto Elevate! I’ll be a BioTrust fan forever! I hope my information helps others to try BioTrust’s many great drinkable products, which I only have first hand knowledge with and will say that they are all great! (a bit expensive but with all the many sales they have all the time makes them not outrageous!) Enjoy!.

I am not picky about the taste of liquid supplements. I have been taking them for years. And I can handle odd flavors But this stuff is TRULY disgusting! It tastes like mushrooms that still have dirt on them, with artificial sweetener added to it.

It was very expensive, so I expected that the flavor of the product would have undergone some sort of quality control taste testing by the company. Apparently not. Im having a hard time believing they would release such a horrible tasting product.

I would NOT recommend buying this! And I would have given this product ZERO stars instead of one, IF that had been an option! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!.

Let me starts off by saying: I absolutely /love/ that Vitauthority has products that compete with Skinnyfit at much more affordable rates, but that being said? This product is just. /not/ good. It’s extremely gritty.

It mixes just fine, but it does -not- dissolve well. You have to keep shaking/stirring to make sure it doesn’t settle at the bottom of your cup or tumbler. And the taste? Obviously the 4-5 Star reviews have no tastebuds at all, or have found a way to completely mask the ‘minty’ flavor.

It’s /overwhelming/. I used only 1/4 of a scoop in my morning breakfast shake (chocolate), and it still completely overpowered every other flavor. I couldn’t taste the chocolate at all, only the crazy grainy mint.

I honestly don’t think it would be that bad, if not for the fact that the product is sweetened to high heaven. That’s what makes it worse, is the sickeningly sweet taste alongside the mint. I’m so disappointed by this product.

I really wanted to like it, because all of your other products are fantastic and have worked out great for me. I’ve noticed a visible difference in my waistline since I’ve started using your Multi-Collagen, Melt, and Stasis products in conjunction.

I was hoping to add this to my routine as well, but I just can’t get by the taste. And to make matter worse, you guys banned me from commenting on your Facebook page for leaving an equally honest review.

I am loving all the products I purchased!! I have been using the collagen burn and detox nourish for several months now and have noticed my cellulite is improving. Not much progress in the weight loss department yet but hoping I see improvement there too.

I’ve only been using the lean greens for a short while and love it!! I feel like I have so much more energy but there again not helping in the weight loss area. I just purchased Move with my last order.

I am hopeful it will help with joint pain. Too early to tell, I think!! I do love the products and will continue using them!!.

To start, this tastes awful! But the benefits are worth it. I just take it like a shot (in a small amount of water) and chase it with a flavorful beverage after to avoid the taste. I do this in the morning as the 1st thing I put in my stomach.

It really helps me curb my cravings and reduces my appetite while I’m at work during the day. I’m not sure if I would buy this product again though because of the taste, it’s like toothpaste flavored.

I am a farmer and student in my early 20’s, so I don’t have the time nor energy for the most nutritious meals. The Opti-Greens comes with a scooper, so I easily add 2 scoops to cold water and/or gatorade in the morning or night (if I forget).

I don’t get stomach aches, nausea, or any side effects. It tastes like nutrients, it has a pleasant taste, but any sugar lover like me wouldn’t say “good”. It just tastes like you should be drinking it for your health and makes you feel good also.

I look forward to making this opti-greens mix because it has become a part of my routine. I took a trip to out of town recently where I couldn’t take the Opti-Greens and found myself missing the drink every morning.

The powder was sent in a close-tab baggie packaging instead of the typical cylindrical plastic powder container. You just rip the top to open it, and you can reseal. If you are suspicious about closing your bag, just use a gallon plastic bag to place the packaging in for extra sealing.

Initially, I was skeptical about this product. I had heard several testimonies across the internet, and saw different influencers pushing it. Typically, I don’t buy into a lot of the social media marketing.

However, over the past several months I have been feeling really off. I was constantly bloated, uncomfortable, and getting discouraged on my diet plan. So I was desperate for something to work. I finally caved and purchased Opti-Greens 50, and on the first day I felt a noticeable change.

After a couple days, the bloating went away completely. I feel energetic and very alert again. Throughout the day I feel good and my mood has significantly improved too (added perks). Not that this product is advertised for weight loss, but I even dropped 10 pounds on a diet that I have been on for several months.

Having heard a lot about this green powder in numerous podcasts and recognizing that my 48 year-old, desk-bound self was in need of a healthy catalyst to kick me back into a fitness gear that could get me revving to 50 in fantastic shape I went for it, bought 3 containers, and have to say I’m enjoying this purchase very much.

It’s sooooo sweet, tastes great, easy to make, and really easy to drink. It’s impossible to follow up something this good for you with poor food choices. I think I’m eating better and smarter now because of this product.

A little gritty, but nowhere near to the extent that other green powders in my past have been. I’ve been tossing a couple scoops into a bike water bottle twice a day and shaking it up. haven’t blended yet; perhaps, a blender would eliminate the little bit of grittiness that I’m experiencing? Regardless, I don’t believe a blender would be worth the hassle.

Omg I just got my six week supply delivered Today. I quickly opened and poured in my organic I green juice with some filtered water and some ice in my bullet blender. WOWSo yummy it is! I am super excited to start losing this 10 lbs of Covid weight I gained.

I am super committed to do so and I believe this product will help get me there. It is super delicious! Must try. I had seen the YouTube add many times but one time I watched the whole ad and that’s when I purchased.

I’ve been adding Ormus Greens to my SunWarrior Classic Rice/Warrior Blend morning smoothie for the past two years. I don’t always get a wide variety of green vegetables due to some dietary challenges, but I believe that my daily scoop of Ormus Greens has really helped to bridge the gap.

The banana and avocado I add to the smoothie do a lot to cover up the bitterness of some of the greens, possibly the wheatgrass. I’ve tried another brand of “super”greens during the time when Ormus wasn’t available last year, and I can sincerely say that I think Ormus Greens is the best.

I have tried one other “greens” powder, and I think Sun Warrior Ormus Greens is best! Their formula is more simple–with whole organic alfalfa, barley grass, wheat grass, moringa leaf, oat grass, plus the dehydrates juice of all those ingredients, plus ginger root and a probiotic blend.

It DOES NOT have lactose or fructooligosaccharides (FOS), which my gut reacts to. I’ve been mixing it into my morning plant-based smoothie for the last three years, and I feel that it has contributed very well to my nutrition in my 70’s.

Very hypoallergenic and healthy. Unlike other green powders, this one is very simple. It contains only a few, very potent ingredients. For this reason, it is much less likely to cause allergies and reduce effectiveness of other ingredients when taken too frequently.

I highly recommend this product.

At first when you drink it you are hit with mint, a seaweed flavor, a sensation of drinking something sweeter than kool-aid with 5lb bag of sugar in it. Then it hits you, spicy. But not the good kind of spicy, more like the I am burping up hotsauce and coffee with rancid milk.

The sensation lasts for 3-6 hours. I do not know if it is something like the cilantro soap flavor, where only some people experience it, or if this is something others are ignoring. But I get it sometimes from low carb foods and it it makes the food inedible.

It’s an ingredient they put in it that I just can’t identify.

I have just started taking the product within the last week, so I cannot yet comment on any perceived benefits. My review therefore is focused on the taste and ease of taking the product. The flavor is not unpleasant, though it does have a mild taste of “greens”.

It is slightly sweet. I have been mixing it with a full glass of water. No matter how much I stir and no matter how quickly I gulp it down, some SuperGreens powder residue remains in the glass. It takes 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 glasses of water to totally drink down everything that was in the glass.

While drinking that much water at once may be healthy, it is not always easy. For those who might have difficulty drinking that much water or juice at once, my recommendation is to blend it in with something like a smoothy.

Mixes easily. I generally avoid products with spearmint and stevia which are both in this greens mix–spearmint, because I don’t like the taste and stevia, because I don’t feel the need for sweeteners.

This blend also has pepper which is detectable an a slight burning sensation in my mouth after consuming. I’m only half way through my first container, but feel that I have experienced some benefit already.

I really like knowing I get a good amount of fruit and vegetables in my diet without having to purchase each type individually not to mention avoiding the waste that usually occurs when buying fresh.

Another plus is that the good ingredients are always there unlike the supermarket where I can often run into nonavailability.

Over the past couple of years I gained about 50lbs, and have just been feeling blah. My skin had also reeked havoc from not eating right. I read the reviews for the collagen powder and super food powders and was a little skeptical, but decided to take a shot, knowing I need a boost! I’m very happy I did! I’ve been drinking the chocolate cake collagen powder, beauty juice and skinny greens for about two weeks now.

And while I haven’t lost any weight yet, I definitely feel more energized, less bloated, and my skin is looking so much better! I have no doubt that weight loss will follow with continued use. I will be ordering again.

I really enjoy the SkinnyFit products. Not only does the Skinny Youth mixes contain 5 collagens, but they taste great as well. Your initial order comes with a mixer that requires batteries. I have used Skinny Green, Skinny Youth (mango & tropical).

I prefer the tropical flavor. it is great! Each container has its own scooper in the jar. I feel energized and ready to work after I have my Skinny Green in the morning. I drink the youth mix throughout the day.

While each container appears to be half full, each container lasts about 1 month depending on how much you drink. I usually drink 64 oz daily. mixing 2 scoops with 32 oz of water. Typically, it is one scoop for 8oz or so.

I think that any I divídale looking to get their “better self” regimen started should consider SkinnyFit products. My next order is going to contain the detox teas and the beauty juice. I’m so excited!!.

I first ordered the skinny greens which I have now been using right away every morning to start my day. Since I just started using it, I have not seen any weight loss although I believe you must always wait a month before you notice significant results of anything.

So far I enjoy the product. The apple flavor tastes great and I love the little hand blender which I use for multiple other drink mixes throughout the day. When I first ordered, I received a call from a representative stating most people usually bundle the snack attack with the skinny greens and asked if I wanted to add it to my purchase.

At the time I thought it was just a sales technique but now two weeks later I have ordered the snack attack, so I wish I just took her advice and purchased it to begin with. So far I am happy with this product.

I am a big fan of athletic greens. But they are so pricey I have not been able to maintain that. I decided to give this a try. I am not all the way through it yet and it took me about three weeks with athletic greens to truly notice a difference so hard to say what another week or two will do.

But for now this is what I have noticed. 1- I think that I have had more energy 2- others in my family got sick and I did not. I feel like typically I get sick when they do so perhaps it is helping my immune system 3 – The taste is not horrible but not great either.

The mix itself seems a little thick even when used and 16 ounces of water, which for me is not a huge deal but I know might be a turn off for some. There are other greens that are cheaper but I tried one from Costco that I did not like at all.

So far I am feeling like I will buy this again and see if my results really are as they seem.

We love drinking them, but we also love mixing two scoops into our breakfast cookies, along w the vanilla ice cream protein! Oats, mashed banana or avo, vanilla powder, greens and either nuts or chocolate chip (optional egg to bind).

Fold in a few mini chips or nuts and we r off to a strong healthy start to the day!!!! LOVE!!! impatiently awaiting restock on those greens!.

Do not be deceived by the reviews saying “Great flavor!” “Amazing taste!” It’s definitely…. Acquired. To me, it taste like grass. On the other hand, my husband took one sip of it and LOVED it. Wanted a whole glass of it.

He grew up near an alfalfa field and he loves that taste. Depends on the person! I put it in my smoothies and I can’t taste it at all! Makes me feel great. The benefits are worth it!.
