20 Best Green Tea For Skin (2023 Updated)

one of the only skincare products I have loved enough to use the entire thing and repurchased multiple times. I disagree with the comment that says not to use with sensitive. I have extremely sensitive skin.

I have to be so careful with read every ingredient and even then sometimes I end up with a rash. this product is amazing, it’s calming and lightweight and is the perfect daily moisturizer. I like to use this in the morning before sunscreen.

sometimes I’ll use it at night and mix it with a face oil. the price is higher than I would normally go. but it’s genuinely so worth it. also i was worried seeing that it’s less than 2 oz but it lasts so long! i have extremely sensitive with extremely combo skin if that makes sense.

the oily patches are extremely oily and the dry parts are flaky and hurt. it makes finding products really hard but I’ve found a perfect one with this. if it ever gets discontinued I don’t know what I’d do!.

I am 49 with still very oily, yet maturing skin, that also can get dry patches from harsh products & my skin is very textured. I am also very fair with redness. I was really skeptical that this moisturizer would really control my oil or smooth the appearance.

I am amazed at how well this product works for my skin! It does exactly what it says it will. It is very light, yet gives the right amount of moisture while quickly being absorbed into the skin. It works well under makeup or on no makeup days.

My skin feels soothed & refreshed and this does not cause any breakouts. I find myself reaching for this over my other moisturizers. I highly recommend anyone to try this.

I have combination oily skin, leaning towards just oily, but I do get dry patches especially from acne treatments. I suffer from closed comedones, blackheads, whiteheads, and occasional cysts, specifically on my jawline.

This hydrates my skin but it is not heavy or oily. No adverse reactions from it, either, while my skin is also sensitive. It seems to keep some oil at bay as well. I decided to try this after being super happy with Boscia’s soothing cleanser (green bottle), and this turned out to be a hit as well.

I am in the process of switching all of my skincare products into their condensed skincare line. Highly recommend this product and the whole brand!.

Disclaimer: I have used the moisturizer for 2 days. Impressed, and it was love at first use. We will see whether it holds up over time. But for elegance of formulation, usability, and finish it leaves on my skin, its all positive.

It’s light an sinks in easily, but it does not feel like it’s a skimpy moisturizer. It feels like it is just formulated very well. For context, I recently began using Illyoon’s Ceramide Lotion from recommendation of Kelly Driscoll.

I have normal skin that veers towards dry due to aging (early 40s). The Illyoon cream so far feels a little suffocating. A lot suffocating actually. Almost too thick. Like it feels as though it sits on the skin.

You can easily use too much, too. Now I try to put it on in 2 very thin layers. Surprisingly a thin layer feels the same way – so thick and sitting on the surface. I would compare the sensation to that of a balm, like La RochePosay Balm B5, but the LRP actually feels a little lighter, which is a shock.

I will still use the Illyoon and especially because I bought it as a winter moisturizer, so the benefits will be how it performs over time. Now that I have the Water Bomb, I have enjoyed a thin layer of it, before a thin layer of the Illyoon.

This layering definitely helps. It feels like my skin is getting a hydrating moisturizing treatment, that complements the very occlusive one. To be honest, I could probably use the Water Bomb alone, but I want to try everything for several months first.

This moisturizer applies like a dream. It glides on. It sinks in quickly, but not too quickly. The skin feels smooth and soft moments after application. It also feels soothed. I recommend this product 100%.

ALERT!! If you have very oily skin and wonder what moisturizer you should get for summer time this is the one you need. This formula is hydrating and very lightweight with peptides and green tea to improve skin elasticity and amazing soothing effect.

This was recommended by Kelly Driscoll and if she recommends something you would be rest assure that it would be high performing in so many ways. I can see myself repurchase this again and again and the great thing about this lovely beauty is that it is completely free of artificial dyes, fragrance, alcohol, parabens and silicone.

Overall, I really enjoy this product. I have dry skin, so I typically need a thicker moisturizer. I find that this light-weight gel texture is still very hydrating and tend to layer it under more occlusive moisturizers.

I have very sensitive skin and this product is very soothing. It applies beautifully with no pilling, although it does leave a very shiny, slightly tacky finish. I use it at night, so the shiny look is fine, although I wish it had a more natural finish.

Wonderful range of ingredients too!.

I have used 100%Pure since I was a teenager shopping the brand at my local pharmacy store. But lately over the years the prices have increased to the point that it’s starting to become unaffordable for what the item is.

I remember when this serum cream used to be around $30 just a few years ago, and now it’s almost $60! Even with having the perks 100%Pure account, the price is still high. I have noticed 100%Pure not increasing their products by a few bucks, but by double in just a few years.

I can’t justify $60 for a face serum while other clean serum brands like Burts Bees have there bakchouli serum for around $20. I love this serum, especially the smell, but I can’t justify $60 for 1oz product while other brands of the similar type are between $20-$30.

I know 100% Pure has their more expensive purist collection which is even more concentrated, therefore more expensive, but their other products were just as good and still a bit affordable. After only a few years loving this product I am switching over to try another similar affordable clean brand.

Pretty soon I won’t be able to justify the purchase price of any products from 100%Pure with the price increases, so sad.

I love this serum for so many reasons, it doesn’t clog my pores ever, it’s lightweight in feel but a heavy lifter when it comes to moisturizing and softening lines / preventing new ones, it doesn’t pill up when mixed with other products, it’s not greasy and absorbs really nicely into my skin, and the scent is to-die-for.

seriously, 100PercentPure needs to make a roll-on perfume in this amazing blend, I would buy 10! however I don’t think any of the packaging besides the outside cardboard box is recyclable which is a huge bummer, and the un-sustainability of the packaging is honestly my biggest frustration whenever I get an order from 100PP (all those styrofoam peanuts are the WORST.

) what bothered me specifically about this product’s packaging is that the pump ceases to work about halfway through the bottle. the pump makes a sound like it’s empty but for weeks I unscrewed the top to dab some out onto my hand every night, so there was plenty left in there.

I wouldn’t mind getting rid of the pump style package entirely if it was a completely recyclable bottle, same goes for my other 100P products. sustainability is important and I hope 100PercentPure chooses to focus on this soon!.

At 72 I’ve been taking good care of my skin since my 30’s on the advice of an older woman at the time. Nothing prepares you for the aging that comes after 65 and then after 70 though. It’s not just wrinkles or sagging I’m talking about – it’s the sudden sensitivity of your skin to makeup or serums and creams.

I tried the Green Tea serum not expecting much, but omgosh, at the risk of not being believed I have to tell you, using this serum on the first night along with Restorative Sea Culture cream and the multivitamin pm eye treatment, my skin looked absolutely beautiful, hydrated, and smooth for the first time in over a year and a half.

I use the Green Tea serum in the morning before the Green Tea Concentrate Cream, and at night with the combination mentioned above. I’m now squeezing the very last of the serum and ordering more. I’m thrilled with the results of 100% Pure skin care.

I fell in love when I first bought it. It is lightweight without feeling too airy, but enough to make my skin feel hydrated and plump. It made my skin feel soooo smooth after about a week of use! The smell is pleasant too, not very cloying, and it really does remind me of natural green tea leaves.

I feel like I didn’t need to use too much of it too, because it spread so well over my skin. It does leave a slight tacky feeling, but my skin absorbs it after. I think it’s also helped me prevent from breakouts when I wear makeup over it too.

However, I would go with a heavier hydrating cream during the winter months if you are on the drier side, but otherwise I feel like this is a great product. I was actually debating between this and a moisturizer with snail secretion, since that’s supposed to be a very good ingredient, but decided to go with this instead.

The reason is because the ingredients list in this moisturizer just seems better with the green tea extract being the very first, which is a great sign. (Ingredients are supposed to be listed from highest to lowest concentration, so always be sure to check the order of a product if it is advertising one ingredient in particular!) Also, it doesn’t contain any artificial fragrances or parabens, I believe.

My only complaint about this ingredient list is that it does contain silicone. Cyclomethicone is the second ingredient, so I would not recommend this product if you are sensitive to this ingredient. That’s probably the reason why it makes my skin feels so smooth lol, but I do wish it wasn’t such a prominent ingredient.

I have had this weird skin condition on my face for a few years and have hunted for a moisturizer that wouldn’t get absorbed instantly, leaving my face dry and flaky the rest of the day. After reading an article that mentioned water based moisturizer is often best, I thought wow, haven’t tried it so what the heck.

Saw this one had good reviews so gave it a chance. OMG!! This is what I’ve been searching for! It works perfectly throughout the day. I do pair it with facial oil a couple times a week for added moisture, but I truly recommend this to those who have such dry skin, it flakes.

I will say I have combo skin, as the top half of my face stays oily. But this doesn’t affect the oily parts, it allows my skin to hold moisture well all over.

This cream has become my all time favorite moisturizer. I have used soooo many high end ones (talking like $120 for a. 5 oz jar) because I always equated quality and effectiveness with $$$, but honestly Korean skincare has really changed my perspective on that.

com to check for ingredients and this was safe in every aspect! My dry skin drinks this up and unlike some other reviewers, I use this during the day (winter) as well as night! There’s no such thing as using too much (for me at least) but a little does go a long way, I just love how this feels so I slather it on! There is definitely a lemony scent that I don’t find off putting nor does it smell artificial so I enjoy it.

Packaging is your standard tub which I don’t mind at all and quite honestly like because I use every drop! All’s that to say, give it a shot! This is a great cream and for the price, it does I far more for my skin than the 8,564 others I’ve tried- LOL.

Nice lotion with a wonderful smell. The texture is a bit liquid, it’s light but for my combo skin hidrates just the necessary, not leaving oily, just a moisturizer elastic skin. With that texture I expected less but it’s enough moisturization.

If it wouldn’t be enough you can layer it and will not be heavy on your skin. It’s delighful how well it spreads and sinks. A little goes a long way. My skin is very sensitive and I didnt suffer from itching, or sensitivity or redness or anything.

Besides, you can pair it perfectly with the toner of the same line. The only inconvenient is the bottle, is a pain to get it out, a pump or even a jar would be more easy. The last remains inside the glass bottle will be difficult to get.

All in all good product. My note 4. 5/5 just because of the annoying glass bottle.

Truth be told, I try way too many products and a lot of them end up not being used and essentially go to waste. But this serum was the exception — I finished the entire bottle within a few months. The only reason I haven’t repurchased is because I’m trying to give other products a second chance.

The serum is light and absorbs really well after toner! I can’t say I noticed any significant changes in my skin as I currently don’t have any serious skin concerns, but it was a nice staple that helped with maintaining moisture.

Not a bad price either considering most serums are pretty expensive.

Non irritating and suds up fairly well considering the type of product it is! Use a loofah if you’re looking for suds 🙂 Leaves my skin feeling good and they actually have a range of really nice scents if you’re wanting that vibe.

I am SUCH a fan of the whole Aleavia line. What to know: Soap free products. Help to balance your skin’s pH. Light lather—not like a traditional body wash but definitely lather well in a bath pouf. Super gentle on the skin.

I use this regularly and also on my kids. It really does keep our skin smooth, and if you or your kids have any sensitive patches or dry spots, this won’t irritate it a bit. Oh, and the scent is light and lovely!.

I bought this for my 8 year old son, on the recommendation of friend. He has eczema and had rough patches on his legs, back, and especially around his neck. There was a clear difference after one use! I couldn’t believe it and neither could my son.

I decided to use it for myself as well, and my skin has never been softer or more even toned. After continued use, my son’s rough patches are almost completely gone. I will never go back to my old body wash! I highly recommend!.

So I have PCOS which causes me to have hormonal acne at the wonderful age of 34. I thought I would be done with it after my teenage years but that is not the case. I was super happy to receive this voxbox and hopefully rid myself of this acne once again, Unfortunately that wasn’t the case.

Over all it did work when used daily. I had less active breakouts. I really liked the exfoliating scrub it left my skin feeling fresh and clean. I did use a better moisturizer on tip of the 2 that are provided with the kit because they were more drying with the active ingredients being benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid.

I did take away 1 star and probably should have take away another because as soon as I stopped using it after 2 weeks the acne came right back, I didn’t expect it to 100% cure my issue because it is more hormonal than anything, but I did hope to see an improvement in the amount or severity of the breakouts, but that wasn’t the case.

I did stop using it after 2 weeks for 1 week so I could test it and see how it would function for someone who would be thinking my skin has cleared up I am good to go. I feel like this is a product you would have to continually use to see any benefits.

This product was received for free from Influenster for review/testing purposes. This product helped my acne. The active ingredients are benzoyl peroxide in the first two, and salicylic acid in the third.

I was happy with this as a periodic acne treatment but not as a skin routine. This is marketed for sensitive skin. As someone with sensitive skin- the wash is a gritty one and it suggests massaging for 1-2 minutes.

It’s on the very upper end of what I’ll use on my skin. Benzoyl peroxide products are drying in general. I found I couldn’t use the products the recommended amount. Maybe once a day for one or two of the products.

The moisturizer is very lightweight. I will continue to use the products periodically with modifications for my sensitive skin!.

I had high hopes for this set, since it was meant for individuals with sensitive skin like myself. I completely stopped my usual routine in order to use this for the 30 days. I could barely complete two weeks.

My skin broke out so badly. I kept thinking it was my mask but it had never given me issues before. So I kept trying to give it a chance but ultimately gave up. As soon as I stopped and went back to my usual routine my skin got better.

Maybe my skin is just too sensitive for this kind of set. Really wish it could’ve done better.

I’ve bought Bigelow teas in the past, including their green tea, so I felt safe buying a large box from Sam’s. I don’t know what was different about this particular box, but no one in my house will drink it.

We’ve made multiple cups that all end up tasting like hot water, even after extended brewing time. The water will change color, but there simply isnt any flavor. I say don’t waste your money on the big Sam’s box, stick to the small ones from the grocery stores.

We’ve never had any issues with those.

Take paper tabs off then tie bag strings together & drop in jug cap set in a friendly location few hours to brew & cool then remove lid wring tea bags like a dish cloth into jug then pour contents into a very large plastic pouring Pitcher if you can lift it to top shelf in refrigerator then use.

Put bag contents in compost pot.

I have enjoyed this tea for years. until the last box. Had an off, almost a chemical, taste. Then I noticed the tea is being grown in China now. It’s supposed to be 100% organic and we all know the China would NEVER misrepresent a thing.

Oh my gosh! I’m so excited to write this review! So, I was in a really rough, stressed out, time in my life and I got this bad boy because it was on a sale. It woke my skin up and gave me a beautiful glow! Literally I felt so much better even while putting it on! Definitely something I recommend for dry or dull skin! But any skin type would benefit sooo much from this!.

I have been suffering from major facial redness around my nose and chin for years. I have only been using this product for a couple of weeks and I would say it has already improved the redness by about 80%.

It truly is an amazing product! I have tried so many different things and this is honestly the first thing that has really worked.

My skin is incredibly dry. Usually, the adjustment period during change of seasons is absolutely brutal. This is my first time using Proactiv’s green tea moisturizer and I have to say, I absolutely love it! it has kept my skin moisturized during this tough period and has been an excellent skin prep tool before makeup.

I’ve used quite a few moisturizers and this one is definitely one of my favorites. My skin never feels greasy or tacky, the moisturizer leaves it feeling fresh and soft. It even helps with keeping my skin from overproduction of oils, which usually happens when my skin is too dry to over compensate.

I use it night and day with my skin care and sunblock, and my skin has healed and has been doing excellently through my period and seasonal change. Love it!.

I recieved this product free for review from Influenster, that in no way alters my honest review of this product. I was extremely excited to try the Proactive Green Tea Moisturizer. I have never tried any of the Proactive line of products, but have heard very good things about this brand.

Unfortunately this moisturizer made me break out. I tried using it a few times over the past 4 weeks and everytime I used it I broke out the day after. I was very disappointed because I had such high hopes for a product that is supposed to be focused on acne prevention.

I received this product in a VoxBox and I am obsessed! I had a cold and usually my skin is super oily but since I was sick I had extremely dry skin especially around my nose. The first day I used this product my dry skin disappeared! I was shocked because I couldn’t find anything to help.

It has a beautiful finish and does not make your face oily, definitely helped out with keeping my skin smooth. I now use this product every single morning and added it to my skincare routine. I highly recommend this product!.

TL;DR: Great moisturizing eye cream. Four stars for not having additional advanced eye care, but at the end of the day, five starts for giving us a full ounce of effective product at an exceptional price.

Full Version: This winter was SUPER drying on my skin. I bought this along with the accompanying serum and face cream and it’s given me my best skin in a long time, possibly ever. I don’t think the eye cream offers much in the way of advanced skin care (wrinkles, dark circles, etc) but that wasn’t part of the job description.

This eye cream is a great at doing it’s one job: moisturizing. I make up for my other eye concerns (wrinkles) with a separate retinol serum that I apply before my moisturizer and eye cream. It’s doesn’t have a long ingredients or effectiveness list, so I wouldn’t expected a super high price, but I have to say that I was very surprised by the amount of product for what I paid, even at full price.

You can get so many sub-par eye creams for cheap, and many really good eye creams are prohibitively expensive, both cases for lesser amounts of product. This sits in a unique place in my mind for being a great moisturizing eye cream with a full ounce of product, actually worth its price.

Enough so to make up for the lack of other skin care claims.

This is the only eye cream I swear by! I suffer from incredibly dry skin and in the winter, it’s not unusual for me to even have patches of eczema on my face / around my eyes. After trying literally tons of eye creams, I found this one! This is the only eye cream I’ve ever used that has helped heal my skin around my eyes and then keep that area hydrated! I use a pea sized amount total for both eyes and gently rub / pat the cream into my eye area.

It absorbs quickly and I’ve never had an issue applying makeup over it. This is a great eye cream for someone with dry eyelids / eye area and is looking for a product simply to hydrate and maintain that hydration.

I wouldn’t say this eye cream targets more than that, so it might not be great for everyone. But for anyone that suffers from dry eyelids and hasn’t had luck with other eye creams, this is the one!.

I love this cream! I have really only skin in my T-area and the rest of my face is kinda dry. I have used a lot of different moisturizes from good brands like Dior, Vichy, La roche posay, Clinique, etc.

However this is only one that actually moisturizes my skin. Usually oily people like me go for moisturizers that are more like gel or water based but those barely worked for me. This actually those wonders for me.

When you apply it at first it will feel like creamy kinda oily but give it a couple of minutes for you face to completely absorb it and the feeling goes away but the skin stays looking hydrated, it has really helped me.

I doesn’t targets thinks like pores so don’t expect a miracle. I have been using this one for months and I will stay with it until they discontinue it.

I have very oily skin and usually during the day I choose to use a mattifying moisturizer. At night I prefer something a bit more hydrating and moisturizing. I have used this both in the morning and at night and it works phenomenal.

When I wake up my skin is so soft and glowing. When I used it during the day, I didn’t wear any makeup and found my skin was a bit shiny but overall it looked very healthy. The scent is very relaxing and makes me feel like I’m at a spa.

Lastly, you get so much product at a reasonable price! Ever since Tonymoly became cruelty free, I’ve been trying a lot of their products and have yet to be disappointed with their performance.

I bought this essence a few years ago. After running out of it I tried many different serums and ampules but none could compare, so I found it here and bought it. This is honestly the best one for my oily, sensitive skin, especially in winter.

The bottle lasts a long time and the product doesn’t irritate the skin or causes acne, while being really moisturising. The package arrived earlier than I expected and wasn’t damaged. I can recommend the essence and the other products from the Tony Moly chok chok line.

This product feels really nice on my skin when I first put it on, but over time it seems to actually dry my skin out a bit more. It’s just not heavy enough for a daily moisturizer for me right now, I prefer to use creams and lotions in the winter/dryer months.

This is more of a gel. It smells nice though and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tacky or sticky, and it did not clog my pores at all. If you are not on the drier side and only need a light moisturizer this would probably be great for you.

This just doesn’t work with my current skin needs.

This is a really nice feeling moisturizer. I like the ingredient list overall, so that’s a win. The product goes on smoothly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and fresh. The only thing I don’t love is the scent.

It is fresh, and not unpleasant, but it has a strong scent memory association for me with really cheap hotel skincare/haircare. I might not purchase this again because of this, but I’m happy with the results of this moisturizer and I’ll definitely use it up.

I’m a big fan of the smell of lemongrass and this lotion is strong on that scent with milder notes of green tea and chamomlie. Soaks right into my skin, non greasy, and has a really nice consistency – it’s not a watery or thin lotion.

The scent is fairly strong and lingers until you wash it off, so if you’re not a fan of this scent it might get a little annoying after awhile. Love the ingredients, love the scent, and would definately recommend it to anyone who likes the smell of lemongrass and green tea.

This is the ONLY lotion that soothes my skin and doesn’t make it breakout. My skin sucks it up like water and makes me skin feel very clean with freshness. I recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin, who wants something natural, and anyone who has dry skin.

I mix this with raw shea butter and other ingredients as well. Aside from testing this to see if I have a bad reaction, I never used this as is. So far, it has been great.

Age: 28 Skin type: Oily, Eczema I was so happy when I saw this product launched, because I love green tea products, and usually only see green tea products in isolation. However, Glow Recipe and Whamisa came up with a whole line.

When I first put this product on, I wasn’t too excited with the packaging. I usually prefer my moisturizers to be in glass containers, but this has a nice feel to the bottle, and I appreciated the foil seal on the opening.

Once the product touched my skin, I was pleasantly surprised that a little bit went such a long way. It’s light and moisturizing, but not greasy, which is great because I have oily skin, plus I put sunscreen on top which can feel greasy sometimes.

The smell is really nice. It smells like tea, but more like a sweet tea that you might find at Teavana. It’s fall time right now, but during winter I can see that if I need more moisture, I can easily pair with LJH’s vita propolis ampoule.

Overall, I’m really pleased with this product! The only gripe that I have is that when I hold the bottle up to the light, I can see that the product only fills up half of the container, which is why I took off one star.

A bit upsetting, but this moisturizer is also much cheaper in price than most others, at only $25 compared to some $40 or $50 products. A win! I bought two at a time =).

I’ve been using this moisturizer for about a month and I absolutely love it! Everything from the texture to the scent is perfect for me; for reference, I’ve got oily-combination skin that is slightly acne prone.

It has that perfect balance of absorbing quickly and comfortably but at the same time keeping my skin moisturized during the day (without turning me into a greaseball which is super important). Wears wonderfully under makeup too! Right now, I’m only using it in the morning just because the air is drier and I need something a little more occlusive at night, but I think it’ll be great once the weather heats up again! In short, I love this moisturizer and will definitely repurchase!.

My skin type: Oily, acne prone skin. Currently on tretinoin. I was pleasantly surprised by this little tube. It is very hydrating (esp for this hot weather; I live in TX). It absorbs quickly and is not greasy at all.

The instruction stated to use a pea size but I use a bit more than that and my skin doesn’t feel greasy at all. The only 2 issues I have are the scent and the amount of product. It doesn’t smell like green tea but kind of silicone-y.

It is quite off putting but it doesn’t break me out so far so I’m happy w/ it overall. The other issue is that it doesn’t seem like there’s a lot of product in the tube. It’s like a bag of chips, if you know what I mean.

Overall, I’m enjoying it. But I won’t be repurchasing.
