20 Best Green Tea Brand For Lowering Cholesterol (2023 Updated)

I’ve Heard this tea described as smooth, complex, delicate, and I would mostly agree with that, but you could also say that this tea has no character and doesn’t stand for anything. Complex and delicate are words that in my opinion are better suited for a Darjeeling first flush.

I like my Assams and my Darjeeling second flushes to be strongly defined. Take my first two favorite second flush teas for example. On one hand you have Giddapahar Estate which I hope will be available on this website someday.

It’s very robust with toasty peach cobbler undertones. Amazing, then you have the Imperial Muscatel which is very available and popular on this website. It has that grape/ stone fruit musk flavor with a little burnt Molases in there somewhere.

So good. Then you have this tea, which is sort of robust but in a delicate way. It is definitely smooth with some honey flavor on the back end. I definitely think this tea is overpriced by $10. I was going to say to save your money, but then something unexpected happened.

When I was having my little taste off between these three teas. I finished the Giddapahar and I then combined the Imperial Muscatel with this tea ( Summer Gold) in my Contigo cup to go outside and start doing chores.

Instead of a muddled flavor these two teas elevated each other and became almost something else entirely. I could still taste that muscatel flavor but at the same time it was a little more robust, along with being smooth and complex.

This combination has now become my new favorite Darjeeling even over the Giddapahar somehow. So now the choice is yours. Save your money or go all in, for a very special blend!.

Really love this robust black tea that is not bitter but smooth and satisfying. Wonderfully fresh. Steeping of course to your taste. I have yet to get a “bad” tea or tisane from Vahdam but of course there are some I favor over others.

Loose teas and tisanes are fairly new to me but it has been an adventure that keeps bringing new discoveries and enjoyment far beyond my teabag world. I did start out with teabags from Vahdam which are superior to many others I’ve had before moving on to loose varieties.

I have to be honest, I didn’t know anything about Cardamom before buying this tea and as such, I really wasn’t sure what to expect flavor wise. I am a big fan of cinnamon and pepper as long as the there is just a hint of pepper and not a really strong pepper flavor.

I have been having a lot of problems with inflamation in my stomach. It really doesnt matter what I eat, I get really bloated and have really bad indigestion pretty much every time I eat. I have been seeing a gastroenterologist for a couple years now and they just can’t seem to figure out what is wrong.

I have had 2 stomach scopes and a colonoscopy and they just can’t figure out what is wrong. This all started about 4 years ago when I started having severe gall bladder attacks, which is really similar to passig a kidney stone pain wise, its just the pain is on the front right side just below your rib cage as opposed to being on your backside near your kidneys.

I wound up having my gall bladder removed as it was literally 100% full of stones. The surgeon who took out my gall bladder said it was one of the worst he had seen in some time and had I kept it in much longer, he said there is no doubt that it would have gone septic and then I would have been in big trouble.

Anyways, I had my gall bladder removed and I did feel better for the first 4-6 weeks after the surgery, but then I started having food intolerances that caused the bloating ad stomach pain and it got worse and worse as time went on.

At first I thought it was just my body adjusting to no longer having my gall bladder, but it became clear that wasn’t the case. The last couple years have been pretty brutal in regards to my stomach and eating and since the doctors really can’t seen to figure out whats wrong, I started looking into various herbs, teas, and pretty much anything else I could find food wise that helps promote a healthy gut and fights inflammation.

It also described as having delicate notes of cinnamon, black pepper and clove, but again Cardamom is the main flavor for this tea and again its described as a full bodied tea so if I wound up disliking the taste of Cardamom, I likely would have hated this tea.

Well, to say I was pleasantly surprised would be a massive understatement. I purchased a 3 box pack from Amazon like 4 weeks ago and I am already down to my last few tea bags and just placed a replacement order.

It has a fantastic flavor and you can definitely taste a very subtle flavor of pepper and cinnamon. In no time at all Its quickly become one of my absolute favorite teas. Traditionally its prepared with only milk, but I actually drink this a bit differently than suggested.

I use a small amount of Wedderspoon’s Organic Manuka Honey to help sweeten it up a little and then I use a teaspoon of Vital Proteins Collagen Creamer. So I’m basically still adding a creamer, I’m just not using milk which is again the traditional method of drinking it.

So it’s delicious and smells heavenly. No need to add honey or sugar it has a sweetness naturally. I am loving the weight loss. I’ve lost a pound a day for the past 3 days. I’d say it’s water weight.

I have energy and overall zen if you know what I mean? Coffee gives me energy but this doesn’t have the buzz. Still love coffee though. #Coffeeclub.

I honestly don’t know if it’s ‘boosting my brain’ any, but I really love the flavor of this tea. I add honey to it like I do with any other tea I drink, but many people won’t feel the need to add anything because of the slight sweetness of the currants.

I’m hooked!.

This is probably the smoothest green tea to drink for everyday use. There are some green teas I have that are strong that I love, and then there are some that are just plain bitter. But this one isn’t bitter at all and it isn’t too strong, but you can definitely tell that it is green tea.

It makes me think that a lot of people who have tried green tea and have mixed or negative feelings about it are probably just missing out. If you’ve had a negative experience with green tea or are just now starting to get into it, I highly recommend starting with this one! You won’t be disappointed.

although i’m not a big green tea fan, i do really love this tea company. it certainly changed my mind about green tea. i usually find green tea a bit bitter but there was none at all here. it was fresh and earthy.

not sure that i could give up coffee for green tea but it’s a nice change once in a while. price point is a bit more but this is definitely a get what you pay for item.

Ok let me say republic of tea is hands down my all time favorite tea brand. I have been buying tea from them for years. I have tried almost every flavor. The green tea is one of my favorites. The tea bags are circles that don’t have tags or strings.

The canisters are refillable and easy to store. The company itself is great and customer service is very friendly. I have never had an issue with republic of tea. I wish more stores would carry it. I buy online.

This is an instant hit with anyone who drinks it including me and has now become one of my all time favorite teas! It’s very hard to keep this one in stock at my house. I love that it’s caffeine free.

All of the herbs and plants work so beautifully together. It definitely tastes like a very well thought out tea. I like adding a little bit of honey to mine but it’s also fine on its own. And not only does it taste delicious, it’s also good for your digestive system! I drink this almost daily but especially when I have an upset stomach and it will calm it/not aggregate it.

Oh and for the review that said it “burns going down” I find this is not at all true, however due to the subtle black pepper ingredient, if you leave the tea bag in and not take it out after the recommended 7 min, it will make the tea tastes stronger including that black paper ingredient, tho I’ve never had it be so strong that it burns and I like to leave the bag in.

I am not a coffee drinker and I was looking for green tea so that I could reap the antioxidant benefits along with having a little caffeine for extra energy. I came across this and I decided to give it a try.

I already drink yogi ginger tea and echinacea tea every morning. Omg today is the first day I have tried this tea and I am shocked. It’s great because it gives me extra energy and it curbs my appetite.

I am currently doing intermittent fasting (20+hrs) and I have not been hungry all day… I have had two cups with two tea bags each. no jitters or headaches. The flavor and smell is so delicious! This tea has been added to my tea collection!.

Typically I am not a fan of hot or cold tea at all. Just never really cared for any of the flavors id tried. However, when during 1 of my pregnancies I was so so ill and nauseous the entire length of the pregnancy, i was willing to try anything i could to relieve me of the nausea.

I picked up this lemon and ginger tea as I was already well aware of ginger helping to ease nausea. So i thought, ok this is a good safe n natural product that very well may help with my vicious nausea everyday.

I was not expecting full eradication of my nausea, but surely it may help it somewhat. some. ANY relief was what I was searching for. The very first morning I drank a cup of this with hot water and the flavor was surprisingly more pleasant than i originally thought which was wonderful.

Well on just the first day i drank this in the morning, I still could feel a slight feeling of nausea but nowhere near overwhelming where id have to give myself to get sick just to get some relief.

I had never heard of this brand before, but was pleasantly surprised! First off, this green tea is high quality! It’s made with quality ingredients and you can tell when you take a sip. Bought this product for my son to take to work for simplicity sake, he usually drinks the Matcha and Green Teas in powder form at home. He has all the paraphernalia and takes tea drinking seriously and missed his tea during office hours so worth a shot.

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality and will certainly buy this brand again, he is extremely fussy! Value for money, hot or cold brewing with a fine mesh nylon bag shaped to allow a decent water flow through the tea.

It was odd at first, the flavor reminded me a bit of mint so I came here to recheck the ingredients since mint gives me headaches, but then I kept sipping. The flavor does remind me of mint but in a pleasant way.

It made me think of the peppermint candies I used to love as a kid before it gave me such horrible headaches. The color was surprisingly light, so if you are someone who adds milk to all your teas it will probably just t look like a glass of milk.

Despite it’s light color it had such a powerful and full flavor. It does well to sooth the throat and perhaps the nerves too, but I think that’s more of it being a delicious cup of tea than anything.

I see a lot of people complain about the flavor being too sweet, but I honestly think it’s just right. a very enjoyable product. I will definetly look out for more of your teas!.

Arizona Diet Green Tea with Ginseng. Arizona has hit it out the ballpark with extremely refreshing tea drink. I love the fact that the product contains Green Tea which is a tremendous anti oxidant and immunity booster.

Ginseng being an ingredient is a bonus but I not convinced that its presence isn’t merely in trace amounts. Nevertheless it is a nice touch. I started drinking while I was pregnant. I was told to eliminate as much added sugar to help prevent gestational diabetes. I was a fan of Arizona Raspberry Tea, so I tried this variety. Tbh, I wasn’t too sure I liked it because it wasn’t as sweet as their raspberry tea.

But it only took a day or two to realize it was actually quite tasty. I think it’s the touch of honey that makes it just sweet enough. Although I no longer have to be mindful of my diet, I still purchase this flavor religiously.

I’ve bought Bigelow teas in the past, including their green tea, so I felt safe buying a large box from Sam’s. I don’t know what was different about this particular box, but no one in my house will drink it.

We’ve made multiple cups that all end up tasting like hot water, even after extended brewing time. The water will change color, but there simply isnt any flavor. I say don’t waste your money on the big Sam’s box, stick to the small ones from the grocery stores.

We’ve never had any issues with those.

Adult beverage of choice with ice for afternoon & evenings for last 20 years, 16 Bags to 1 gal tap water Glass pickle jar. Sun in summer when no sun I use ham beach speed kettle. Take paper tabs off then tie bag strings together & drop in jug cap set in a friendly location few hours to brew & cool then remove lid wring tea bags like a dish cloth into jug then pour contents into a very large plastic pouring Pitcher if you can lift it to top shelf in refrigerator then use.

Put bag contents in compost pot.

I have enjoyed this tea for years. until the last box. Had an off, almost a chemical, taste. Then I noticed the tea is being grown in China now. It’s supposed to be 100% organic and we all know the China would NEVER misrepresent a thing.

I love this tea! The bulk sizing is economical plus I had enough to share with friends! This was my first time trying Oolong tea and I feel it lived up to all of the purported benefits. The tea had a great taste as well S a satisfying aroma.

Davidson’s Teas has some of the freshest, most aromatic teas I’ve tried to date. Other well known organic herbal tea brands just don’t cut it. Those teas were either not of good quality or were well past their freshness date.

The sealed packaging keeps the tea ultra-fresh and the tea smells absolutely wonderful. You can definitely taste the difference. I order the Tulsi “Pure Leaf Tea” (Holy Basel) by the pound. I just can’t find a better product for the price anywhere, but don’t take my word for it.

Russian Caravan is a smoky, black tea called lapsang souchong. Its very unique and quite delicious. However, Davidsons doesnt taste anything like lapsang. This is just a regular old basic breakfast tea.

Im really sorry I wasted my money on this.

As of lover of tea, I wouldn’t say this is my most favorite brand. I usually add extra honey + lemon to mines for a more potent taste. However, I do like the size and shape of the tea bags, and honestly the ingredients gives it a nice kick for cold days.

I’d recommend still because the flavor is pretty good.

I love all their teas that I have tried. This was is especially flavorful and relaxing and gives you some caffeine as well. I find their teas to have a good amount of flavor in the bag so you can reuse for a 2nd glass.

I would recommend. They are little pricier than other brands but also less expensive than other brands. So it’s a good in between for good quality.

I discovered this tea randomly in the Target website and have been drinking it for a few months now. I personally think it’s a great tasting tea. It doesn’t have an overpowering, bitter taste. So, I usually dont mind drinking it without any sweetener in it.

It doesn’t really have a strong matcha taste as I would have liked. But it’s still a great choice for a green tea.

I don’t drink coffee; tea for me. I have drank many tea brands and types. This is good tasting jasmine tea. Fragrant, smooth and no bitter after taste. Took one star off for excessive packaging! Box and tea wrappings are unnecessarily big and cost is on the high end.

I’m new to all this green tea fad so bought this after hearing about the wonders of Matcha. Only problem is, I’ve since learned that Matcha is effective pretty much “because” you ingest it-the complete tea leaves get powdered and you’re supposed to ingest them.

These are tea bags and you pretty much dont get any more benefit from them than you do drinking “normal” green tea. I guess you could rip these bags open and swallow what’s inside? Probably not advisable.

True Matcha costs a lot more than these tea bags for a reason. These tea bags arent Matcha simply because they are tea bags, bottom line. I’ll use mine up and not buy them again. Otherwise, they work fine as tea bags and the tea leaves inside them probably come from good sources and make a decent cup of green tea BUT it’s not “true” Matcha.

If you want to try Matcha but don’t want to pay an exorbitant amount, this is the best product to try. Although there is not a lot of Matcha in the tea bag with the green tea leaves, there are probably reasons for that.

Matcha powder does not mix or dissolve well so if the company had put more Matcha powder in the bag it would be a big clump in the bag with the tea leaves. A little goes a long way. Also, Matcha is extremely bitter.

If this company had put more Matcha with the green tea leaves people would have to add a lot of sugar to make it drinkable. This isn’t my favorite green tea anymore but when I need a cheap Matcha fix this works.

The one complaint I have though is that I wish the company used a longer string and that the tag was paper instead of plastic. I recycle the paper tags on other company’s tea bags and can’t do that with this product.

This is the 2nd time I purchased green tea. 2nd time they messed up my order. First time I ordered a pack of 4 Green tea with ginger and got a pack of 4 Lemon green tea. I ordered Lemon green tea with caffeine and got Decaffeinated Lemon green tea.

Products are fine but delivery or person getting it is doing horrible. Please do better in getting the right products. Time is of essence. I would Appreciate it.

I purchased Bigelow Pomegranate Green Tea because the brand of green tea I regularly purchase was out of stock! Wow! What started out as a substitute is now my number one tea. You will not be disappointed.

I have tried many kinds or green tea by many different companies but nothing tastes like this one does. The flavor is mild without tasting like dirt. That is the biggest thing that bothers me about other types of green tea is that they taste dirty or earthy.

This one is great. I put a piece of lemon or a spoon of honey and relax. Read a book or sit on the porch. Great for morning or in the afternoon. I love to make big pans of this tea at a time by boiling ten tea bags in a deep pot of boiling water for about 10 minutes.

Then steep the tea bags for about three minutes. I usually drink one cup hot and then put the rest in a pitcher in the fridge so that it will be cold the next day when I want it. Great product at a great price.

Not just for drinking either. Green tea is great for your skin especially under your eyes. the small amounts of caffeine will help make the wrinkles and bags less visible.

It’s Lipton Green Tea. It’s not the 100% best tea on the market but I’m not a fancy-schmancy kind of girl who snubs good decent tea. It’s Lipton people, it’s kind of a standard you can count on. It’s decent tea.

Get yourself some. If you’ve never tried cold brewed tea then give it a whirl. Take a pitcher, fill it with clean (filtered?) water, set it in the fridge to chill. After it’s cold put in desired amount of tea bags (to taste, I use 2 per quart) and place back in fridge to brew for 1-2 hours.

Take the bags out and enjoy your tea. Very little tannins/bitterness and all the flavor/healthy goodness!.

When I saw this tea for the first time at the supermarket I was a little skeptical about its taste: I wasn’t sure that green tea and berry would work together. Despite that I was curious to try it and I immediately appreciated its taste from the first sip.

The presence of berries is, surprisingly , a good match with green tea and i like the light sour taste this kind of fruit gives to the drink. Nothing is really to be improved about the taste of this tea because there ‘s a perfect equilibrium among all the ingredients.
