20 Best Greek Yogurt For Protein (2023 Updated)

The best yogurt. Fits in most diets, has fiber, and a great amount of protein. Me and my boyfriend work out and eat these to help us consume enough protein. My bodybuilder cousin recommended it to us!

I used to eat nothing but dannon oikos but, since they only have less sugar and no sugar I have switched. Not everyone wants a sugar substitute and if they do, you have triple zero. No more, fruit in the bottom either, so good bye dannon, you can keep your garbage.

I love this yogurt! Even though they were suppose to send peach, strawberry & berry.. I got vanilla instead of peach! Cheaper buying bulk then individual!

This yogurt is a staple in my diet. It has zero sugar, zero fat, and ZERO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS. The recent negative review about how, “People who enjoy this yogurt must regularly consume artificially-flavored products” is nothing short of nauseating.

Namely because this yogurt does not contain artificial sweeteners. It’s fine to not like a product, but don’t try to indirectly shame others who do like it. In any case, I primarily buy the vanilla yogurt.

I pair it with a serving of Bear Naked Granola and chocolate chips. I’ll grab that as a snack over a chocolate bar any day (though chocolate bars are also yummy, just not as healthy). I also enjoy the strawberry flavor, but vanilla is my go-to since it has the least sugar (naturally occurring).

The other flavors go well in smoothies. Give it a try! You may like it, you may not. I think this is the perfect nonfat Greek yogurt. Who can beat 15 grams of protein, 0 grams of sugar, and 0 artificial sweeteners?.

I have been eating plain homemade yogurt since childhood and flavored yogurt since its commercial inception decades ago. I bought Oikos Triple Zero only because Walmart and my local supermarket (Giant) was out of stock (or discontinued) their store brand of Flavored Greek Yogurts (which are as good or better than (regular) Chobani in my opinion).

I have tried 4 flavors of Oikos TZ and they all taste absolutely horrible! (I’m sure Zero Sugar Chobani will taste just as bad. ) Compared to flavored Greek yogurt with sugar this has an unpleasant aftertaste likely from the Stevia similar to the bitter and unnatural aftertaste of aspartame (NutraSweet) which appears in many products like chewing gum etc.

At first because of my revulsion to the taste of this product I was shocked at all the favorable reviews but then it dawned on me that if you like this, it is probably because you have acquired a taste for artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup or habitually consume foods and drinks with sugar substitutes.

I do not use or eat products with artificial sweeteners or the so-called “natural” substitutes like stevia so my taste buds haven’t been compromised. If zero sugar is your thing then this might be for you, BUT, warning, if you are accustomed to natural sugar in drinks and food products this will taste oddly sweet, not naturally sweet–it will just not taste right.

First, Target you need to update your picture as this product does NOT contain 8 carbohydrates it actually has 11 (on the packaging). While that may not be important to most people it is to Diabetics.

Secondly, I did not notice it had Stevia in the ingredients prior to buying two containers and I abhor Stevia as it always leaves a disgusting aftertaste in every product it is put in. Same goes with this yogurt unfortunately.

While this yogurt does not have the tang that most Greek yogurts have, it does have the horrible Stevia aftertaste. It makes this yogurt a complete bummer because it had more protein than carbohydrates which is hard to find but I will never purchase this again because of the gross Stevia aftertaste.

Also, there’s not a good vanilla flavor. I actually can’t taste it at all but I definitely noticed it does not have the Greek yogurt tang. I would not recommend this Greek yogurt mainly for the gross Stevia aftertaste.

The texture of this yogurt is really thick, and it’s not as sweet and sugary as the usual single serve items. They’re nice for breakfast or nighttime snack with fruit. Really great smoothie base with all that protein.

I didn’t like the vanilla as much as the other two so that always went into a smoothie.

We use to buy Noosa but our local Sam’s stopped carrying it for some reason – Why?!!?!?! So we gave this a try. The first thing I noticed is it tastes like “diet,” that distinct fake sweet taste associated with most diet products.

Big turn off for me. The second thing I noticed is texture of the yogurt isn’t smooth but “gritty. ” I mean it didn’t have to be velvety smooth and silky like the Noosa yogurt, but this stuff pretty gritty in comparison.

Back to Chobani it is.

Dannon Oikos Triple Zero Yogurts are the one brand that I have discovered thus far that per ingredient label does not contain harmful ingredients nor an overload of additives and preservatives. I’m a devoted customer of this particular line of products from this brand!.

liked the Yoplait gluten style. The texture and how creamy and thick it was. And also freezing it for a dessert. Easy on the stomach ad well.Recommend it.

I really like their yogurt and always have. The Greek yogurts have been my go to for healthier items, it’s very creamy but to me it doesn’t have the strong taste of Greek yogurt which I personally like.

One way you could eat the yogurt is on waffles which is what I prefer when I get tired of eating the regular yogurt. I also like the strawberry flavored one.

Love this yogurt! I eat it every single day! The blueberry flavor is my favorite. Zero fat and high protein so it’s a really healthy snack! Tastes really good with granola added on top as well. Perfect for a snack.

The taste of this Chobani Yogurt is just great! This is really good for your health. Surely helps make it smooth for taking Vitamins that are large. We have at least 20 0f these in our refrigerator at all times.

This is the same product you would pay at least double for in the grocery store. Great value and great assortment.

Did you know that by adding cinnamon and some granola and dipping apples into the mix this creates a deconstructed apple crisp? No, well now you do! My kids ask for the ‘apple crisp’all the time as a snack instead of the sugary sweets.

And I’m more than happy to always have single serve containers or the quart sized ones on hand for whenever they need a sweet healthy snack. This is a favorite of ours and I love that I can pop a single serve in my lunch and have it at work as well.

I’ve tried a ton of different yogurts and Oikos triple zero vanilla takes the cake! It’s sweet, but not overly fragrant. It’s perfect to have on its own, with some granola, or my personal favorite: in a smoothie.

I love this yogurt for smoothies because it’s sweet enough where you don’t have to add any sugar or sweetener but it’s not too sweet that it will take away from the fruit you add!.

I love this yogurt. I usually stick with buying the big tub. The flavor is good for being sugar free and very high in protein. Sometimes the consistency changes from one tub to the next, but the cup size remains consistent.

I always buy again and again. I especially like to put in my smoothies.

Oikos Greek yogurt vanilla 0% is high in protein but low in fat! Made with all natural ingredients the first being yogurt and then vanilla makes you feel good in eating this Greek yogurt. It is light and creamy flavour and pairs great with other fruit, granola or just plain! A great snack or for breakfast.

I personally give this to my little ones as it is healthy and made with real ingredients!.

I just recently tried the banana when my go to flavor (lemon meringue) wasnt available. I was so pleasantly suprised by how much i enjoyed eating it. I have a lemon meringue yogurt daily as part of my diet plan.

I enjoyed the banna so much that i wanted to buy more and this time the banana was out and they had my lemon meringue. Its thick and creamy. Great snack! I do want to say that i did NOT like the banana chocolate flavor!!!🚫.

This is by far the most DISGUSTING plain Greek Yogurt I have ever tasted in my entire life! I actually threw up in my mouth a little after tasting this with mixed fruit &granola. That’s how I eat my yogurt in the mornings.

I checked the expiration date to make sure it wasn’t spoiled. It wasn’t. Just low quality, rancid tasting, plain greek yogurt. I will never buy Member’s Mark Greek yogurt ever again.

Bought two on 4/25/2022 at $3. 98. Bought today at 17:30 using scan and go at $9. 56. Had husband not questioned total of receipt for 4 items, we never would have known!! Returned to photograph shelf price in refrigerator section at $3.

98 – TODAY!! I pity anyone who unknowingly paid $9. 56. We returned and got refund of difference!!! It is a great product and have been using since they stopped selling Chobani.

The price is “right” for the quantity, but I am not sure that the label is totally honest in saying the contents are only milk and the listed bacteria strains. When stirring it, the consistency is almost like it has guar gum or other vegetable gum in it.

It is not like the other brand of Greek yogurt I normally buy. In fact the other brand was out of stock in the store where I normally shop so I tried this one. I also much prefer to buy organic if I can find any, and I do not mind paying more for organic.

I know how Chobani is supposed to smell and taste. Something was off with these. They smelled really strong. Maybe they got warm or something.

Yogurt arrived cold in a cold foam box. Well insulated with ice cold packs. With expiring dates three weeks out. All four flavors are great. Will order again. SDP

Oikos is the best consistency in a yogurt. I love waking up and having Oikos for breakfast. The key lime flavor is one of my ultimate favorites. I sometimes have a couple a day, to keep me going. It’s great as breakfast, or a snack.

The serving size is perfect, most yogurts come in a smaller serving and it’s not enough.

Usually, I am quite hesitant with flavoured yogurt because I find they can be very inaccurate to the flavour they claim; however, the lime flavour in this yogurt was so strong and it maintained sweet at the same time that it was a treat to eat.

The price is relative to other yogurts on the market, but the taste is outstanding! I highly recommend if you enjoy lime.

Tried the banana cream flavor. I shouldn’t have. Trying to eat healthy shouldn’t taste this bad. From the first spoonful this product left an overwhelming taste of artificial sweetener in my mouth. So much so that the sweetener was the predominant flavor.

The banana flavor was barely there and had a chemical as opposed to natural essence. I read the ingredients and found that it is made using <1% banana puree. Probably closer to. 00001%. This was just terrible.

Love it. Strawberry and black cherry are my favorites. I usually eat it for breakfast. I used to get it a lot at Giant. But when I moved there’s no Giant near me. There is one grocery store near me but one it’s small two it’s expensive and they usually only have one flavor it’s usually strawberry cheese cake which I do not like.

Once in a while they will have strawberry. When they do I only get one 4 pack because it’s so expensive.

I used to be able to find the Light & Fit Greek yogurt Raspberry, but now no one carries it. When I go to the store mostly what I find is Coconut and Vanilla flavors. If I’m lucky I can find blueberry and Cherry.

I refuse to buy a flavor I don’t like which include Coconut and Vanilla. I’m tired of not being able to get my favorite one. We need to boycott all of the Light & Fit Greet Yogurt and maybe you will start selling what the people want.

I love these. I’ve tried a few flavors and have enjoyed them, but stick to vanilla, blueberry, and peach pretty much for all my yogurt flavors (maybe black cherry if they have it). I enjoy less sugar in my yogurts and more protein (thats why I prefer greek yogurts), so this one is good.

I don’t know if cinnamon is always with the vanilla flavor now. I usually just get plain vanilla.

The Chobani Less Sugar Greek Yogurts are sooo good – and way healthier than full sugar yogurts. The Clingstone Peach is my #1 fave but they are all great. Full of flavor, good protein and absolutely delicious! Now full sugar yogurts taste way too sweet for me.

If you are lucky enough to find this variety, and don’t like a lot of sugar in your yogurt. definitely try this one ! I’m from the Willamette Valley originally and have personally hand picked the raspberries that grow there, believe me when I say they are phenomenal.

That smooth yet, tart natural raspberry flavor you want is there, and delivers with lovely nuance. Creamy, and beautifully blended. Definitely one of my “feel good” favorites. Thanks Chobani for this delightful yogurt.

You people are funny, only complain about everything in life, if you want taste then eat chocolate, I am working out 6 days per week, lots of dynamic workouts mostly non Oxygen, I am so beat up after my training and this jogurt is perfect after workout, I open 2-3 mix it in the bowl and just replenish nice 45 gram of proteins while you fools complain all your life about everything and live the life of victims because something that is/was engineered to give you muscle brick do not taste like pineapple chocolate.

Don’t get fooled by those complainers, real man consume the food either way because need power not tears. Live with it. I give it 5 stars.

NOT impressed. First off – be very careful as Chobani only looks like it is 32 oz in fact it is only 24oz with a tricky indent below the rim so it is the same height as the real 4 cup (8oz sized containers).

In fact most every true 8 oz cup of yogurt has shrunk over the years. Thanks to Yoplait who cleverly turned their container upside down and then packed it with only 6 oz of product. Also beware of any french style – pre-blended fruit flavored yogurt.

They are laoded with sugar! In fact many have as much as a SNICKERS candy bar! Best bet: forget low fat or no fat anything! Look for 100% whole milk (it’s only 3% fat anyway but 100% flavor. And active cultures.

That’s all that should be in any yogurt. Go for plain yogurt with the lowest amount of sugar you can find. Does not have to be Greek style as that is just strained to remove any excess water from the milk solids.

THEN grab a container of real berries in the produce section for a real fruit all over blend just for yourself. Bonus tip: hit the Jams and Jellies section and get your favorite preserve with the lowest sugar you can find.

Strawberry is good especially when mixed with real blueberries! NOW you have the best of all worlds just to your specific taste buds! You end up with a Greek style fruit on the bottom with about half the sugar as any commercial product.

Saw a lot of reviews saying this yogurt is way too sour. Greek yogurt is Mediterranean, and in Mediterranean cuisine, yogurt is often used in savory recipes and not sweet ones. The whole yogurt blueberries / fruits / honey thing is a more westernized version, but this is the authentic thing.

As a matter of fact, it’s even less sour than some Middle Eastern variations like “laban”. The taste is absolutely perfect for the Mediterranean recipes I’m used to back home. Give it a shot as a savory snack.

Add some pink salt, half a lime, a crushed clove of garlic, thyme, oregano, and lemon pepper to a serving of this, mix it, and taste just how good it can be.

Up until very recently I only purchased non fat yogurt products. Being of the mindset that non fat is healthier. A controversial topic for sure. While the issue of which is healthier is not something I can speak on, I can tell you that whole fat yogurt is much tastier than non fat.

And I am totally here for that. I’ve been a fan of Chobani for a really long time. Especially Chobani Flips in Key Line. But! I gotta tell you, whole fat Chobani is so creamy and way less sour than no fat, you can add your own fruit toppings and have a delicious breakfast or snack without all the sugar.

My hubby really loves these low calorie yogurts. They are a great quick snack with great macros and they are reasonably priced. It has some extra protein which is great for a pre or post workout snack.

I personally think it has too much Stevia sweetness in it, and I think it would be even better if it had a little less sweetness and more Greek yogurt flavoring. Regardless, it is a lot less in calories than other yogurt brands.

This is my husbands favorite flavor. When I started on my healthy eating journey these were recommended by my doctor over choboni that I use to eat. But they had much more sugar in them. I am so glad I made the switch I love these! My husband has even starting eating them.

Oikos Greek yogurt is my favorite breakfast go-to. The triple zero option is low in sugar and fat and high in protein. The taste is great and really does not have an artificial sugary taste. The Mixed berry is a great option along with the strawberry.

I just started eating Greek yogurt again, and this brand is the reason why! I purchased it on a whim from my Imperfect Foods order and am IN LOVE. Most Greek yogurts have a funny, chalk, after-taste.

Not Zoi! I have had both their honey and vanilla flavors and BOTH are amazing! The only con is the high sugar content – which is common among yogurts. Still, it’s a pretty good alternative and I’m going to look and see if they have an unsweetened kind to add to my smoothies.

has 5% milkfat, so it’s slightly higher in calories than the regular 2% Greek yogurt but at 150 calories per serving and only 11g of sugars, so that’s still not so bad. The 5% milkfat variety tastes a little bit heavier too.

Ironically, the texture of the 5% milkfat yogurt is not as creamy or as smooth as the 2% milkfat Fage yogurt is— but happily the flavor is still just as nice. Like the 2% milkfat variety, there’s still none of that gaggy sourness that other brands of yogurt have.

The higher milkfat content does change the texture slightly but that’s all. The overall flavor is just as nice. In honesty I didn’t even notice I had bought the 5% milkfat variety (instead of the 2%) at first and I thought the difference in texture was a sign that it was going bad, but no.

I love honey yogurt but this format didn’t exactly work for me. The packaging separated the yogurt and the honey and gives the choice of dipping or pouring the honey into the yogurt. Because this was my first time trying this out, I decided to go all-in thinking this was the perfect yogurt-to-filling ratio.

Well, I thought wrong. When I poured it in, I deluded the whole thing in honey, it tasted like a spoonful of super sweet, sticky, honey goop instead of honey mixed into yogurt. I ended up throwing it away because it was no longer edible.

I was craving Indian food, so I decided to use my @greekgodsyogurt to make an incredible tasting dish… BUTTER CHICKEN Ingredients * 1 ½ cups full-fat Greek yogurt, I used The Greek Gods Plain Traditional * 2 tablespoons lemon juice * 1 ½ tablespoons ground turmeric * 2 tablespoons garam masala * 2 tablespoons ground cumin * 3 pounds chicken thighs, on the bone * ¼ pound unsalted butter * 4 teaspoons neutral oil, like vegetable or canola oil * 2 medium-size yellow onions, peeled and diced * 4 cloves garlic, peeled and minced * 3 tablespoons fresh ginger, peeled and grated or finely diced * 1 tablespoon cumin seeds * 1 cinnamon stick * 2 medium-size tomatoes, diced * 2 red chiles, like Anaheim, or 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and diced * Kosher salt to taste * ⅔ cup chicken stock, low-sodium or homemade * 1 ½ cups cream * 1 ½ teaspoons tomato paste * 3 tablespoons ground almonds, or finely chopped almonds * ½ bunch cilantro leaves, stems removed.

I originally bought this because of all the active cultures in it. I loved that it had strains that other didn’t so I instantly bought. A++ on the active cultures forsure. But everything else just sucks.

The amount of sodium to the protein is all a huge letdown given it tastes great. And the pectin is disappointing, probably would have more protein if pectin wasn’t used to thicken it. Given others can easily have 20grams of protein and only 80 max sodium when Greek gods has 180mg of sodium and only a measley 7g of protein; I’ll be switching back and buying this as more of a occasional boost given it has the active cultures I’d like to have in my diet.

Definitely not a main brand for me after really looking into it and comparing it to other brands nutrition.

I used to love the rich texture and creaminess of this yogurt but noticed it was now a bit grainy and didn’t taste as good recently. I thought my store just had a bad shipment. Then I noticed it now had a lower calorie and fat and a new ‘improved’ taste.

Please change it back! It was so good, they ran out of it constantly and now nobodies buying it here.

I WAITED AND WAITED AND WAITED for this day to come. I was stoked. The second I saw it on the shelf I bought it, fully knowing I had a drawer full (yes, I store my Chobani in the fridgerator drawer where produce is supposed to go ) and didn’t need to buy any more.

Who cares!? Bought it. Opened the Chobani up with pure excitement. Gave it a taste and…. Meh. It was ok. It had the notorious creamy and thick texture CHobani is known for. It had a tang to it- as in it wasn’t super sweet and kind of felt dulled down.

I am actually eating the pomagranit right now!:) I have not been able to find a lot of pomagranit flavored yogurts at the market so of course I was naturally pleased when I found Chobani.

With only 140 cals none of which from fat and double the protein of normal yogurt this is on the top of my list!!! Another great plus of Chobani is the active cultures which helps balance your digestive track as well as off sets the side effects of antibiotics.

I am personally just getting over a sinus infection and loathe antibiotics because I always get every single side effect in the worst way possible! I have eaten two yogurts and day and feel completely great! No side effects yet and am nearing the end of my antibiotic round! It is also natural! If you are on a diet plan I would recommend keeping Chobani on hand.
