20 Best Grease For Natural Hair (2023 Updated)

I’ve only used it for two days now and my hair is fuller and thicker. I am using the coconut shampoo and conditioner. I also purchased the caster oil. After shampooing and conditioning I need to add some of the caster oil to my damp hair because I can’t comb through my hair without it.

I was hoping that it would make my hair easier to comb through but it doesn’t. But. after it’s dry my hair looks so much better and feels so much better!! It has body and fullness and it looks healthy.

Maybe you could consider making some sort of detangler for longer hair because I’m still losing hair everyday when trying to comb through it. I will purchase these products again for sure!!.

I absolutely love the castor oil. I use it twice a week on my hair, nails, eye lashes, and dark spots on my face. The castor oil has made my cuticles so soft and smooth. The castor oil has helped to lighten my dark spots on my face.

The castor oil is slowly helping my lashes to grow a little longer and thicker. I use this with the 10 in 1 miracle hair oil. I have baby hairs growing in. My hair is so extremely soft and shiny after I wash out the Castor oil and 10in1 miracle hair oil.

Castor oil is good for so many different things. I will buy more when I run low.

I checked to see if Target carried this on their app before going to pick it up off the shelf in-store. I also checked the ingredient list in the app photo, because I haven’t used It’s a 10 in several years, but when I did I loved the way it detangled my long, fine hair, moisturized, and made my hair feel super soft.

I found this on the shelf and assumed it was what Target said was the product–the barcode SKU numbers are even the same. When I went to use it, it seemed to not detangle the same as I remembered, but smelled like the It’s a 10 I had used before.

But when my hair dried, it was frizzy and felt like it was coated in something, like a waxy feeling. It looked awful, too. I tried blow-drying it with my hairdryer that usually leaves my hair silky smooth, but it was dry-looking, felt dry and waxy, and started tangling again.

I washed my hair the next day, tried it again, same issue. Looked on the back of the bottle, and all the “key ingredients” are listed almost towards the end of the ingredient list, which means there is less of a concentration of them in the product.

I checked the online/Target app photo, and realized the product lists were different, even though my Target profile registers I bought this product in-store. I’m returning it and will purchase elsewhere, after checking the labeling.

I really like this stuff, I don’t understand the bad reviews unless they ordered it online and got a counterfeit product. I’ve used the regular leave in and the one with keratin, they’re both good. They make my hair smooth, soft and shiny.

My only complaint is the price. The small bottles are not worth the money. You’re better off buying the big bottle. I mean why pay 16 for the small one when you can get the big one for 27. Also, a little goes a long way.

I wouldn’t spray it in your hair though, it’s too easy to use to much. I spray 3 pumps in my hand and work it through. So it’s good, I like it, although there are comparable leave in’s for way less. L’Oreal and Pantene both have good leave in’s I tried the Not your mothers 10 in one hair perfector because it’s supposed to be a dupe for it’s a 10 and it was awful.

It’s like hair spray in a cream form. Anyway, it’s a 10 is good and worth buying but it is overpriced, when there are cheaper comparable products. I still buy it from time to time if I can afford it.

I have natural 4A hair and I use this when I flat iron my hair. The packaging is very hard to spray. What I have done is I take one of those continuous mist spray bottles and dilute this product with water (maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of the product and the rest water).

This way, I don’t put too much in before I apply a little Blow dry cream. This product makes my hair look super silky and flows after flat ironing. I know this is the result from this leave-in because my hair doesn’t feel as silky and light if I don’t use it.

I really don’t like the sprayer and the bottle is hard to hold. I shouldn’t have to put the product in another bottle to use it. They really need to change the packaging. I also use it straight from the bottle and pour it in my hands when I wear it curly.

I also wish they made a bigger size. Fix this please and keep the product the same!!!.

Tried this product right away and instantly loved the smell. Reminds me of a candy scent but not too strong as I am usually averse to strong scents. The consistency is thick so a few pumps would do. I applied it over my dry hair and tamed the frizz I got from diffusing my curly hair.

My hair is so soft and not floofy. I’d be using it next time on semi dry hair and see if its better. Also used this in conjunction with the milk spray for heat protection.

This stuff is amazing! I have type 4 hair with high shrinkage and not the smoothest surface texture. I’m currently a little above bra strap length and this helps to detangle my hair so well with little product.

I apply about a dime size throughout my whole head and work it through with my fingers. I twist my hair into rough sections (about 6-8) to keep it stretched. As I detangle section by section, I spray my hair with a little water as needed, then apply just a dab (just the tip of my pinky finger) more to the section and brush through.

I can detangle so much faster now because it has the ultimate slip. My blowouts are also way more smooth and lightweight due to not needing much product. My hair, even when I flat twist and sit under a hooded dryer, just has more swing.

No stiffness from being weighed down. If you have “natural hair” and it’s not working, it’s more than likely because you’re being too heavy handed. I got the 6 ounce bottle for half off during the Gorgeous Hair Event and it should definitely last until the next one, but if it doesn’t for whatever reason, I’m willing to pay full price for it.

For all of my life I’ve had long, thick, dirty blonde hair. I definitely struggled with dry ends, but they were never a massive problem. Half way through high school I started highlighting my hair. This virtually had 0 effect on my hair, it stayed long and thick! But then during my senior year of college I realized a lot of my hair was falling out and the hair I did have left was extremely thin and damaged.

It smells great and does not weigh my hair down (I don’t bring this anywhere near my root because it would definitely look greasy). My one complaint is that the bottle needs work- Everytime I travel this bottle leaks everywhere, I literally have to double plastic bag it anytime I bring it anywhere.

I hate traveling without it because it has become a hair staple for me, but I also hate traveling with it because it makes a HUGE mess.

I dont know if this helps anyone trying to make a decision, but I believe this CHI Silk Infusion is much better for thick, bouncy, curly hair than CHI Infra treatment. This Silk Infusion absorbs into the hair better, and immediately.

It also restoresrepairs every portion of your curls. Over time, with Silk Infusion, I have been able to grow my curls longer, much faster vs. Infra. I have found when I have tried the Infra, it does not do as good a job as the Silk Infusion.

Also, the Silk Infusion does so much better job as a leavein conditioner, instantaneously giving your curls a beautiful shine so the curls, and color, of your hair really come through. The Infra kind of just sits there, and weighs my curls down.

I have Chestnut mahogany colored, thick Irish curls. I apply a dimesize portion in the palm of my hands and run through all the way to the ends of the curls in the front and sides. I then apply a second dimesize portion to apply to the back and underside.

I use a wide comb to more completely incorporate. This greatly reduces split ends, repairs hair shaft and allows me to grow my hair. I do not blow dry my hair except my bangs. I have used this for 11 years, and it is amazing.

I received a free sample of this, and I am actually going to shell out the full price for a bottle of it because I cannot believe the difference it has made. My hair is ridiculously fine, thin, straight, and long.

My hair is easily weighed down, doesn’t hold texture, doesn’t hold volume, and looks greasy by the end of the day no matter what. I cannot skip a single shower, and I avoid using product in my hair in any way, shape, or form because not only will my hair look unwashed, stringy, and greasy (even with dry shampoo), but my scalp will break out.

I can’t even stray from the same shampoo/conditioner I’ve always used because my hair will freak out. All that to say– I cannot believe this product works on me. The ends of my hair dry out terribly, and in general my hair has not been in great shape.

On the first use, my hair definitely felt softer, but after about a week of using this at night before bed, and every other day also putting some on the bottom half of my hair after a morning shower made my hair look and feel smoother, too.

Tangled hair has been minimized, and brushing my hair is easier– less snags than usual. The oil does not have that viscous, sticky consistency that other treatments have, and doesn’t have the weight and texture that make my hair limp.

It is a very light oil that feels dry on contact, and does not alter the texture of my hair when applied, but the difference in softness is definitely felt. It also smells freaking amazing. 10/10, will actually buy, and would buy again! (Full disclosure: don’t know if I’d try the other products, unless they were free samples, because I don’t know if the same magic translates, but this particular product is definitely A+.

My always dry hair became very damaged from a combo of highlighting and overly hot heat tools. I bought this in the large size in an attempt to help heal my life over-processed locks. It did nothing at all to change the condition of my hair.

I have worked hard on restoring my hair’s health. Though this product was for me a waste of money (and it isn’t cheap!), I was able to help myself by massaging simple canola oil into my hair and scalp a couple of times per week, by cutting off the frazzled ends and reducing my shampooing to not more than once weekly, and by lowering the temperature of my heat tools, which I also only use once weekly.

The canola oil has worked really well. The day I do it my hair does look oily, which is a very rare look for me! If I need to I will use a little Moroccanoil dry shampoo for light hair, which helps. This treatment oil probably works well for less damaged hair but really did not help mine at all.

The canola oil has no fragrance, is vastly less expensive, and has helped me tremendously. I do love the fragrance of these Moroccanoil products, though! I may buy the dry shampoo again just to apply sparingly when I give myself a canola oil treatment, but I will not buy the treatment oil ever again.

If you have hair like mine – dry, coarse and damaged, you too may find a simpler and less costly solution. It’s worth a try, no?.

I originally got this as a free sample for my birthday, but I loved it so much that I had to buy another bottle once that one ran out. I don’t think I’d go back to not using it. I think I mainly started using it for facial hair after learning that oils help get makeup off of it so your beard doesn’t look weirdly powdery after putting on makeup.

Then I figured I’d try this on my facial hair and see how that goes, and though I’m not sure how well it’s working for use with makeup, it’s definitely great for making hair soft! I’m transitioning and on hormones, and initially I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about growing a beard or even keeping one, but it just feels like a normal part of my face now, and being able to keep the hair soft and not pokey definitely made a difference in deciding to keep it.

It also smells good (kind of a marshmallow scent?), and the smell isn’t overwhelming while wearing a mask. Overall, absolutely love this product, and despite how small the bottle is, it lasts quite a long time even with daily use.

Great product. Soft and easy to spread through the hair. Have had many hair products and have found this to be the best by far. I put it in dry hair and it shapes it really well and has a good hold. It smells like an aerobar, which I loved at first, but can tend to be overpowering sometimes.

It let off a good aroma in the car when you have it on. Leaves the smell on your pillow as well. So have subtracted a star as I believe the smell of it may wear thin in future. I would definitely buy this product in the future.

This has been the best hair product I’ve tried by far. Works well, has a strong hold if needed but if you use less it can have a little looser hold. Works best with damp hair though. Looks great with a bit of a shine.

Also I love that it’s water soluble. Easy to wash off my hands and out of my hair. Highly recommended!.

Pretty sure I already reviewed this. But Ill give it another try. The product is fine. Good hold. Only problem is that its maybe a little greasy. My trouble was with the delivery and the tin itself. The box was oversized and there wasnt enough packing.

The tin arrived with several dents, and actually has a small puncture. Doubtful that the hole happened during shipping.

Not sure what changed but this is NOT the same product in the can as what I’ve used for years! Customer service says nothing has changed. Either customer service doesn’t know or customer service is lying.

Product use to be a white color clay that smelled great, it stayed white until you worked it in your hands and hair. What’s in the can now is grey, no aroma and when you rub it in your hands there’s no color and it immediately just turns to a clear “wetness” in your hand.

I’m rating this purchase one star because the product has completely changed or the wrong product was shipped to me. I’ve been using Suavecito’s premium blends matte pomade for over 3 years and have always been more than satisfied.

I was running out, so I bought it again. However, when I received the product and used it a few times, it was obvious that the product was not the same. Instead, the product in the can has a different texture than all the other purchases I’ve made of this product.

Additionally, and worst of all, the product makes my hair look and feel greasy. I will need to find a new product.

After reading many reviews I was excited to try this. first day I was disappointed. Then I realized that it manages the frizz but the volume is still there. Once I realized this I was content. Its a great product but I was looking for a product with more control.

Also, for the first time ever I feel like my curls are silky and not course and brittle. Tip. If you have a lot of hair that is also thick, course and frizzy and want to see a difference- try going to a salon and getting the damaged ends removed- get it significantly thinned out and spend the money on this product line.

Its an investment but if you’re tired of years of unruly hair it’ll be worth it. Stay realistic too, the volume will still be there but it’ll look healthier, silky and flowy.

Love this, it smells divine. I use a small. amount on the ends of styled hair, it works particularly well on vintage sets to stop any frizz. Brilliant finishing oil, a little goes a long way and the bottle size is pretty large so will keep me going for ages.

I am African American , who has 3C/4A natural curl pattern. I have no chemicals in my hair. The curl cream gave me #blackgirlmagic. My curls popped. I must say though the Nicole and Brizee Instagram photos does not represent my hair type or most African American hair types.

I think you may want to tweak your posts. You may need to check out naturallycurly. com to research African American hair types. I have read negative posts on the Instagram, where people are disappointed on the photos they see that don’t represent us.

Smells amazing! I love how its not too thick, not sticky and very easy and smooth to apply. I love it when I air dry my hair. My hair is very long and wavy. I have fine hair but a lot of it. I use the curl cream along with the volumizing gel.

Makes beautiful waves in my hair. The hold is pretty good, but I am not sure how it would hold up in the humid summer months. Id maybe need to add a stronger hold product and hair spray. But overall I love the product and I also apply it to the ends the next day to refresh my curls and add smooth them.

I have been a user of the red DAX wax for many many years and have tried so many different hair products and have always gone back to DAX because it seems to be the best hold for my hair. But, I live in Dubai and during the summer months temperatures can reach 50c so DAX being a wax gets very soft in the heat.

I tried using gels but because my hair has a slight curl to it the gel doesnt pull and hold my hair straight like DAX does. Another problem with DAX, being petroleum based they have recently changed the smell of it so its starting to smell like engine oil So, I have hunted high and low for a water based product that stays firm in the heat, washes out easily and also one that smells great.

FINALLY. for me. a product that does what it says on the tin This really is like putting wax in your hair, with the same hold as gel. and washes out easily. My only tip is to make sure your hair is almost dry and it works better then probably not getting watered down.

I towel dry my hair and that seems to be enough. Will for sure be stocking up with this product FANTASTIC.

I had one treatment done right in the 3 years that I was getting the treatment done at Salons. That was the GK treatment and the girl did a fantastic job. After that I made the terrible mistake of going to another lady who did a Keratin treatment and over processed my hair.

I started to have hair loss and was devastated over how my long hair started falling out. What I did not realize is that she actually did a Brazilian Blowout, all while stating that it was a keratin treatment, which permanently straightens your hair and I will tell you its not good for your hair.

Each new girl I tried to have the treatment done did it completely different. It was so inconsistent and extremely expensive. I had prayed that one day the GK line would be available for consumer use and boy, dreams do come true.

Yes it takes me 3 hours total to do the hair. But something that cost me 350 dollars every few months even if it was just to touch up roots, just became not worth it. Now I can do it myself and know that its being done right.

When I want to touch up the roots a bit, I can do that without going to a salon and having the girl do a shotty job. I have already done one use and have plenty more product left over for another treatment.

The savings cant be beat and honestly this is the safest Keratin treatment out there. You can do the treatment a few times to get the hair smoother but I really wanted to have my curls just frizz free.

I’ve always done my own hair due to the fact that salons just never get it right and I can never seem to walk out without paying less than $300. Once they see how curly my hair is it’s usually pretty uncomfortable and I’m charged more for having curls it seems.

Anyway, this is the perfect solution for managing curly, frizzy hair at home. It’s extremely simple and works wonders- plus it’s covid free As you can see in the before photo, my hair is super curly and frizzy.

Post-treatment, my hair is easy to manage, shiny, soft, and feels amazing. It’s so much easier and faster for me to straighten my hair now and I still have beautiful loose curls after washing. One bottle is half of what I’d usually pay in the salon, plus if I had to guess it’s probably got at least two more treatments in it.

Definitely 3 more if my hair was shorter. Don’t try googling how to apply it because there are so many different techniques. Follow the instructions on the bottle! I have used this for more than 2 years now. Provides a great hold and just the right amount of shine. It does hold your hair stiff, but does not give that ultra stiff and stick like feel that you get from Gels.

Which is great for me. Tip: Ensure you rub is thoroughly in your palms before applying and do not apply too much of it in a single area, try to brush them with your fingers.

I have very thick wavy, unruly hair that has to be thinned by my barber to be manageable. I have gone through countless products that seem to work at first, but as the day wears on my hair inevitably shifts out of place.

Finally I have found a product that makes my fine bleached hair, which very much like to knot, look healthy. My hair gets thanks to the product enough hold, are not weighed down, have shine and some volume and in addition I do not necessarily have to apply a leave-in additionally.

The hair is already almost “slippery” with little product. Am very happy that I have found it. May never be missing again!!! I can only recommend it if you are looking for a product that does not overload the hair.

Two pump puffs in the wet hands and distribute on wet hair to the entire length, knead the hair so that you hear real squeak and then blow dry with diffuser. The results are just great.

I was told by a couple of Ulta sales women that I would love this product. Sadly it wasn’t true for me. I used it twice and the cream was greasy. In fact it was challenging to wash off my hands. When it dried, my hair wasn’t soft.

My hair felt sticky. It did soften up after it completely dried. The product pulled down my curls to waves. (And no, I didn’t use too much. ) It’s going to be returned.

I have very fine, very long, very wavy hair that WANTS to be curly, but because it is so fine and so long (waist-butt length and I’m not willing to cut it lol) t it just gets weighed down so easily and I usually have sad, pulled/stretched out limp frizzy baby waves.

but my hair is also naturally really dry so I have to use conditioning products and finding a balance between moisture and lightweight is just a nightmare. to put it into perspective, I have been dealing with this issue since my hair got wavy/curly during puberty (12ish) and I am now 24 and JUST found an acceptable solution!!! and its THIS!!! it’s the PERFECT combo of moisture, definition, curl enhancement, and frizz control all without being heavy at all.

this really boosts my sad fine waves up to curls like I would have if my hair was shorter, without actually cutting it shorter. tons of volume and NO frizz! I’m in love!! the only thing is it takes a few tries to figure out the ideal amount for you.

too little and theres not as much curl enhancement/definition (still looks good tho if fluffy yet frizz free waves are what u want) too much and it can be a bit crunchy (but u can “scrunch” out the crunch and then its fine) but the right amount and it’s the stuff of dreams.

and aside from that its very quick and easy to use. if you’re having trouble with this (either not enough hold or too much and crunchy) just play around with the amount I promise this is a miracle when you figure out how to use it for you.

I’ve tried sooooo many products and even different methods of hair care and styling over the years, and was the queen of the “curly cocktail” (mixing a bunch of products) so believe me I am in awe that I can now get away with just one true styling product and have better results than ever.

I still use leave in conditioner and a hair oil spray for moisture and detangling but this is the only styling product with hold that I need at all. and it smells amazing!! words can not do this product justice tbh, it’s a true miracle and deserves way more than 5 stars.

I’ve only used this oil 4 times in the last week. I can’t say anything concrete about the product stimulating hair growth yet as it’s too early to tell, but it’s definitely given my hair its softness and shine back! Even my husband commented saying my hair looks “glossy”.

It felt a bit weird putting the oil in my hair at first as it’s thicker than other oils I’ve tried in the past, but I think that actually helps control where the oil goes. For context, I’ve got thin straight (Caucasian) hair.

I have also been dealing with postpartum alopecia on and off, and after the 4th application I’ve noticed a lot less hair falling out during brushing and washing, so that’s a great plus. Overall I recommend this product and I’ll be looking at purchasing some of the brand’s other oils.

This is a classic I didn’t read the description properly and bought this by accident purchase. What I was looking for was an oil to work into my damp or dry lengths in between washes to keep it manageable and hydrated.

My OGX oil had run out and I was on here for something else so I thought might as well get an argan hair oil here. Found this product, sounded good, didn’t read the descrition properly (it was late, I was tired).

It’s actually a very thick oil that is supposed to be massaged into a dry scalp. Now, I don’t have a dry scalp but moderately oily one which is why I don’t wanna apply thick oils on there. Hence, I haven’t used this the intended way but tried it on my dry lenghts instead.

The first time I used way too much and my hair was pretty greasy. The second time I used only a tiny amount, spread it on my hands then gently worked and crunched it into my slightly damp hair. And it works well.

Gives my dry, thirsty strands a nice shine and it smell good, too. So, I can’t really comment on the intended use but I’m loving this anyway and it will probably last me a loooooong time. Plus, lesson learned: read descriptions more carefully and don’t shop online late when you’re too tired.

I am unsure why the peppermint jbco is on sale, as I used to use the regular mango & lime jbco and this one is SO much better! I literally bought 5 more bottles after initially buying 2 on whim during a haul! By itself, my scalp feels tingly and like it is responding to the oil.

However I’ve recently began mixing this oil with Dabur alma oil (I mix them in a bottle 50/50) and on top of my scalp responding to the oil and feeling stimulated from the peppermint oil, my hair has GROWN SO MUCH! So many baby hairs on my edges (more than I’ve ever seen before, to the point where I never knew I was suppose to have hair there)! If you’re using a jbco to stimulate hair growth, this is by far the best option (for quick results)!.

Great product. Have used for years and was recommended by my haircutter. I spray on hair below roots before blow drying or using flatiron. If hair seems drycn be sprayed on dry, styled hair to add shine.

I love Agadir products. This is liquid gold to me. It adds a healthy luster to my locks without weighing my hair down. It does not get greasy but nourishes my straight hair. I use it before blow drying my hair.

Plus the scent is addicting.

Id been looking at getting some of Suavecitos range for a while, and finally decided to get on with it. Can happily say, I was not dissapointed Most of my reason for taking so long a good 6 months was due to all the hearsay Id heard about fakes being on places like eBay and Perfumes of London for half of this price, but I also can say that this is the genuine article with verification from Suavecito themselves so anyone who buys this pomade from SlickStyles is getting 100 the same stuff that is sold in the store in Santa Ana in California fresh from the lab.

Now onto the actual review of this pomade. Ive used various pomades and waxes before in the past From oil based pomades like Black and White, other Water based like FishDapperfish Pomade and waxes like DAX Wax and I can easily say that this is my favourite product Ive ever used.

I sport a shaved slicked back undercut See Brad Pitt in the film Fury for a general idea and this pomade is brilliant for giving me that slicked look, but without the greasyish look that comes from a Oil or Wax based product, and still gives enough hold to last the day.

And as an extra note, if you ever need a bit of a touch up or a reshape, just wetting your fingers and working it back works a treat Now the smell, the infamous smell I cant put my finger on why it is so appealing, but its got a really nice aroma to it.

The only description I can give is that it just smells like a proper barbers, and theres just something about that scent that appeals to me. The smell doesnt really stay on your hair once youve put it in, but just getting a hint of it when I open the tub is nice enough.

Final Thoughts I absolutely love this product, and after waiting so long to try it, Im definitely not dissapointed. And now Ive got my eyes set on some of their other products in the Suavecito range specifcally the Firme Hold.

This is totally worth the money and its now earned a place as a staple of my pomade collection.

Do I stay with Suavecito Firme Original Scent that Ive ordered almost every single time and that works just fine and wont disappoint me Or do I gamble, do I risk it for the biscuit I have been here before, I ordered the Suavecito Peppermint Christmas edition and thought it was mediocre It was for me at least what if this one smells more cupcake than coconut All these whatif scenarios.

Well I ordered it. Tried it and I was very surprised at how pleasantly strong and coconut it was. The smell is definitely there as you rub the pomade on your hands it, it is not by any means over powering or obtrusive its just overall very good.

The pomade functions as good as the original so no complaints on the formulation. ONLY CON This is a limited edition scent and there is no large tub size. 55 Would strongly recommend, even if youre the type of person not to try something new.

If you like the smell of coconut even in the slightest this is a must try.

I had been searching for the perfect matte hair product ever since I got my disconnected undercut really long on top and slick back. I tried Gatsby Matte Grunge, Bluemaan Original, Baxter of Cali etc.

However, all of those are always so sticky and although with a strong hold, the hold isnt long lasting at all. But oh my Does this product surprises me First of all, I didnt really like the scent much myself.

HOWEVER, every girls that I ve met with after applying the products loved the scent. They said it isnt overpowering but at the same time smells really good, so they will not get tired of it. Secondly, talk about easy application It wont be as easy as other water based pomade with a shine of course, but for a matte product, it isnt sticky at all even for my long slick back.

I even waited for half an hour after applying it and tried to comb it back which usually harden up for other products, the comb went through easily like when I first applied it. Thirdly, I have long slick back undercut and I like the fact that it wont turn into a freakin helmet after applying my product, I like it to be able to move around in the wind but at the same time UNDER CONTROL.

This product is just perfect for that Last but not least, the long lasting medium hold allows me to restyle my hair all the time but at the same time wont leave my hair out of shape in the end of the day of course it does loses its hold a bit but my hair was still manageable in the end of the day and the wash out takes no time at allSo buy it if you Like matte finish, medium long lasting hold, great scent for girls, super easy application, easy wash out and in a very decent price.

I don’t quite remember exactly how I stumbled across this product. but i started using it about a little less than a year ago and i’ve been hooked ever since. over the past 5-6 years i’ve been natural, i’ve had such a hard time finding a gel that has great hold and doesn’t flake or leave a lot of build up.

this product checks off everything on my list. i know it’s purpose is for twist outs, but i just use it to define my curls and it does just that. i love the watery consistency of it (which usually doesn’t work out well for me) it’s nice bc i won’t have to re-wet my hair if i’m trying to do a touch up.

highly recommend this product for those with similar hair type as mine, as well as those seeking for increased definition!.

I have a looser curl pattern, fine/medium density, low/medium porosity. This gel is the best!!! and I have tried a lot! It defines, doesn’t dry out, brings out the shine, and provides a good flexible hold.

I even have used it to refresh my hair and it looks just as good the next day. I also love the smell. I hope they never get rid of this or change the formula!! This is my favorite product I’ve tried from the mane choice and this line is prob the best I’ve tried yet from them also!.

It was okay the first day i had it in. for reference i have curly hair and usually don’t redo my products until about two days after the first use. the second day with this gel my hair was dry and brittle.

it’s definitely not as moisturizing as i thought it would be. definition was good but it’s probably a one day use product.
