20 Best Gray Sweatpants For Guys (2023 Updated)

These pants aren’t the same as the original. The lining is different- not smooth, which means they stick to your calves and ride up your legs. They are also shorter. I had purchased a pair in 2019- I ordered two more pairs online in 2021.

This batch looks the same but does not fit the same. International order, so not worth it to return it. Disappointing, as I loved the original.

I’d give it 0 stars if I could. I tried to return it and sent it back and they wouldn’t give me a refund. And the picture is deceiving the red under liner is much larger. Terrible customer service, complete waste of money.

I will never buy from them again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and the pockets of another pair of pants I had from them ripped after first use and they wouldn’t give me a refund. Stay away!!!!.

My husband is now full time work from home and asked for some new “work pants” for Christmas. He adores these and will likely wear these frequently. Very nice fabric, great comfort.

Champion makes quality products – these pants are no exception. Great weight to these, comfortable and not too thick, with a nice drape thats not parachute-pant baggy. The pockets are shallow and pretty much useless but at least dont add bulk to the profile.

The leg clinchers dont ride up and arent too long or short. For the price, a very good buy and hard-to-beat deal.

These jogging pants are really nice. The material is not too thick, and not too thin. These will be good to wear in spring, fall, and winter. There are three things about these joggers that raise them to the “great” level for me.

They are long enough. Being 6’3 it’s hard to find pants that are long enough unless they are Big and Tall. Even though these are regulars, they are long enough on me. Second, they have a looped drawstring.

I have so many pants that are a loose string and it never fails that they either get tangled so much that you have to cut it off or it eventually get sucked up into the pants. The looped drawstring fixes that.

And third, they have pockets. I have washed these twice and they wash very well. I think these will last a while and I highly recommend them.

I bought these for my son, who loves joggers. Just putting them on the first time the ankle seams tore, and he said the fit (waist, length) in general was off. I can sew, and could probably fix the ankles but won’t bother since the other sizing seems off as well.

Got these for my husband to replace a pair that are too short and worn out. These are great–soft, warm and comfy and, so far, are plenty long for him (he’s 6’4″). We haven’t washed them yet, so I’m hoping they don’t shrink too much, but there seems to be plenty of length, so as long as they don’t shrink a bunch, they should be fine.

Lands End Serious sweats IMO one of the best sweatpants that rivaled the top of the line competitors that were triple the price point. Unfortunately, the styling details on these pants has changed over the past 2 years.

It was not until after purchasing the updated style that I noticed these are NOT the same Serious Sweats as in years past. Everything about these pants has changed: the cut (which is fuller at the bottom of the leg), the waistband (bulkier), NO pocket, and the fabric (now fleece lined).

They ARE thick and warm but have a more casual look overall. These are now sweatpants that I tend to only wear inside the house due to the styling changes. Also, in regards to the length, the pair I received are much longer than the previous Serious Sweats I own in the same size (MT) which were the perfect length for me.

It would be great if the design team would consider offering the old style again or similar (in Tall sizing) as an alternative. Overall, good quality but very basic sweatpants, unlike the prior Serious Sweats.

I recently moved from Los Angeles to the Florida Keys and was somewhat unprepared for (1) the mosquitos/ no see ums and (2) the humidity. During the first week in Florida I got eaten alive by mosquitos and no see ums and my right leg got infected.

Therefore, I was reluctant to keep wearing shorts. I ordered the Reebok Speedwick Athletic Fit Pants and they are great. They are very comfortable and breath extremely well. I was frankly surprised how cool they keep my legs even when it is in the mid to high 80s with very high humidity (85% yesterday).

I have worn these pants every day on my morning walk, no more bites, very comfortable. Even though my leg has healed and I have stocked up on mosquito repellant, I will continue to wear these pants on my morning walks and any other time shorts don’t fit the bill.

The fabric actually does wick. If you are sweating then the outside will feel a bit damp. This is not a complaint, just pointing out that this is part of the design. They are very comfortable but thin so if you are in a cold area you might want something underneath.

The waistband is wide and the drawstring is reasonably thick. The size chart seems to be way oversized although that could be my error. At any rate, the return/exchange went smoothly and DXL absorbed the cost.

I think the pants look good, just like the picture, at least for the black ones I purchased. I will do business with DXL again.

The pants are very comfortable and very worth the money. However, I did not read the copy carefully enough. I own a very nice pair of Reebok pants that are labeled Speedwick and a very cool and breezy.

That is what I thought I was buying. These are more the winter version. They are very comfortable and indeed do wick moisture away from the body. However, they are warm and cozy not cool and breezy. Totally my bad.

I am still very happy with the pants and very satisfied with my purchase, just for a different season.

It’s annoying when you buy the same thing again a year or 2 later (because you liked it so much) only to find it’s not what it used to be. This new Rival, made in Cambodia, is not a patch on the old one, which was made in Malaysia.

Whereas the old seams were overlocked inside and out (so there was no flap to rub on you), these have a very basic serged seam, with the edge rubbing your thigh. They have also taken a shortcut by ditching the knee darts (which made it very comfy when you bent your knees).

Everything else: the rib-knit on the cuffs and waist, the fabric quality, and even the logo print. all a bit naff compared to its former glory. Shame.

Took me forever to find sweats that fit right – i. e. loose and comfortable. Then, I found these. All the other sweatpants manufacturers apparently think most men want sweatpants that squeeze their but and balls and fit like skinny jeans.

bought these in 2xl which is what i normally wear as I like really baggy shorts. These things are almost skin tight. Just be aware. Material seems nice, but can’t wear these since they are so tight. I’d recommend these but make sure you are really sure on the size.

Bottom line: These are well-made pants that probably should be described as “casual/leisure” rather than just sweats. The MW website does not accurately show the colors. Their “denim blue” is actually Teal blue.

Their “commando” is some kind of fashionable green that is NOT Army green or olive drab. Good news: their black is actually black. The fit is on the slim side (good for me), the waistband is well-constructed , shouldn’t roll.

Two generous front pockets, a back pocket to accommodate a wallet or phone, a small leg stash pocket just big enough for a key fob or credit card. As sweats, I doubt I’d want to do more than a light workout or jog in these, just because of the high cotton content (95%)-if you’re a heavy sweater, they’d get pretty damp.

Now some caveats: I have a 31 inseam, and used to buy 32 inseam jeans. The regular size says 32 inseam, but if it were to shrink AT ALL in the wash, it would be riding above my ankle. For that reason, I returned a regular pair right away and replaced it with a “tall”.

They say the tall is 2″ longer, but it’s more like an inch. That said, I then purchased 2 more pair for wearing around the house/out and about. All of the talls are consistently sized. I’ve washed two pair as per the instructions and shrinkage has been minimal.

cuffs ride at the tops of my shoes. One question: if MW wants to market a 95% cotton pant, why in the world wouldn’t they go with pre-shrunk cotton and avoid the potential shrinkage issues?.

Alright fellas and fellettes, let’s do this. I don’t ever leave reviews but I finally caved and need to do this to maintain whatever shred of ethics I have left now that I’m into my mid-thirties. I am morally obligated to leave this review because I own essentially every color made of these pants since 2019.

They are simply the best. I fear I am obsessed, but I also plan to never buy another pair of pants again. So if I own 20 pairs one day, and live another 40 years, that’s only. 5 pants purchased per year.

Very modest. And the more pairs I have, the longer each will last. I am 6’4″ 215 lbs, meaning most sweats either turn into joggers after I wash them, or are so baggy I could rob Scrooge McDuck and he wouldn’t even realize it.

The Tall size is incredible, but I would recommend air drying them if you are my height and want to keep them long enough to wear with low-cut shoes and ankle socks. The quality and versatility is mind-blowing.

You truly can wear them in an office setting and then to the gym. A lot of other pants say that, but these ones live up to it. Every detail is accounted for; a masterpiece. They say if you are good at everything, you’re good at nothing.

But these pants spit in the face of that adage. They are good at more things than a high school valedictorian but without the burnout – The pairs I have had for 3 years now are still going strong esp.

I wasn’t originally going to review, but, after these pants got me some unexpected action at the airport, I knew I had to. Here’s what happened. It was going to be an draining day of travel not complete until I had been in 2 ubers, 3 planes, and 4 time zones, so obviously, I threw on my go-to sweats.

They’re comfy and stylish enough that I don’t feel self-conscious wearing them in public. I wasn’t expecting them to attract much attention, but that all changed after I walked through the security scanner at the first airport: TSA had identified something suspicious in my groin area.

So, a specialized TSA agent with blue rubber gloves and a disgruntled attitude came over and gave me a pretty intimate no-nonsense public rub down. I’ll leave the details to your imagination but suffice to say it was both embarrassing and exciting, and my jokes making light of the situation were not received well.

After giving me the all-clear, the TSA agent informed me that the scanner probably flagged the little metal aglets on the ends of the drawstring which were dangling parallel to my member. 10/10 would wear to the airport again!.

I bought these pants for my husband who actually picked them out. He was excited to try these lighter-weight joggers on, however were surprised to find the electronic store sensor was still attached to the waist of the pants.

We ordered them online and had them shipped to the house so I thought they would have come from a warehouse and therefore wouldn’t have the sensor. We had to trek out to the store to have it removed which was done somewhat begrudgingly by a salesperson.

The pants themselves fit nicely and are comfortable. Dick’s needs to do a better job checking their merchandise before packing and shipping out to customers. Fortunately our store is not too far away but for others it could be a real hassle.

You can’t remove those sensors yourself. we tried.

I bought these joggers because they were on sale. After reading the past reviews I completely disagree with those that said these are horrible joggers. Yes they’re a little on the thin side perfect for fall type of weather but definitely not for a cold, windy day.

I’m 6 feet tall 220lbs muscular build and a Large fits perfectly as far as the inseam and waist size. A XL provides plenty of room if you’re into a baggier fit. The material provides plenty of range movement for squats, deadlifts.

etc. these joggers are perfect for the gym, running errands around town and can also be used as pajama pants. All in all I’m highly satisfied and I definitely recommend these joggers, you can’t be the price.

Hanes has a great product with their Urban Pursiuts fleece pant. These pants fit nicely along your leg. Not baggy at all. The cord at the ankle let you adjust whether or not you want a loose or tighter ankle fit.

The side ribbing give these pants a nice look. The inside of these pants are extremely soft! I did wash them before wearing so the little fuzzys from the fleece would come off in the wash. The pants came out of the laundry looking great.

Hardly any wrinkles. No loose threads. These pants are a pant that you can either lounge around in or wear for a casual evening out.

I like these. They feel good and the adjustable leg openings are helpful. They aren’t overly heavy, so you can wear them when it isn’t especially cold. I found them comfortable for working from home.

My only beef with these is that I was given a free pair in size L, which is my usual size. They are a bit short for me and they are tight over my calfs. I’m tall and I’m a distance runner, so my calfs are probably thicker than most people.

Size XL would probably be just fine for me. If you are borderline on size, you may want to size up.

Admittedly, I do the opposite of jogging in these sweats. They are awesome lounging around the house on a cold day pants. I actually like them so much I bought a second pair in case one of my kids spills something on them.

Light fabric that stretches and moves well. These are great for working out, running errands, or even just laying around the house. I am usually right in between medium and large when it comes to pants.

I initially bought the medium, which fit well (maybe a little tighter than the pictures online but not much). The only problem was that the fabric is thin enough that they left very little to the imagination.

As much as my wife liked them, I wasn’t so sure the general public would agree, so I exchanged them for the large, and they are perfect. I also need to brag on the customer service. I bought these on sale, so the website wouldn’t let me exchange/return them.

A quick call to their customer service number, and they had my exchange in place and ready to go within just a few minutes; I didn’t even have to sit on hold or go through a phone tree. Outstanding service that will make BP the place I go to first.

My husband practically lives in these joggers. He only had 2 pairs and I was constantly washing them (which they hold up wonderfully with the constant washing and wearing, we’ve had these 2 pairs for at least a year) so we purchased more recently during the sale.

He has a 36″ waist, is 6’2″ and wears an XL. He wears them to lounge around the house in as well as puts them on over his shorts to go to the gym. They are a great utility pant! The slate color, to me, looks a little more green, almost like a sage.

Flat out, love these joggers. Can’t wait to buy more. Long, stretchy, thin and breathable. And feel like they should cost more. If your debating, don’t. Buy them.

My son is 6’5” and it has been close to impossible to find long enough casual/active pants for him. Even online most inseams are less than 32”. These pants are definitely long enough and he really likes the look and the fit.

He’s very slim and most pants made for “big and tall” men are marre assuming that the taller you are, the wider you are. We’re thrilled to have found American Tall and I’m sure he’ll wear more of their clothes in the future.

These feel great. Best and most comfortable sweats I’ve bought off this site. They do fit a little larger than the normal I would say. But they feel even smoother. For me, I have actually developed an allergy and sensitivity to Polyester so the all Cotton make up of these is very appreciated and my new go to.

It is wonderful to have sweats long enough, these are actually a bit too long. At 6’6” , 170 lbs and with a 38 inch inseam, I ordered my son a medium tall. The size runs big and the material is not as thick as I had hoped but he still likes them because they don’t fall above his ankle like most sweats.

This is the second pair of Patagonia sweatpants I bought for my son. He’s a typical high schooler and is really tough on his clothes. These sweat pants look great after all the washes and the daily wear and tear.

I highly recommend these pants even though they are on the expensive side.

Love the pants, they are so so comfortable and they look great. BUT I’ve only worn them for two days and they are already pilling on the butt! Haven’t worked out or anything, just going to class. I’m slightly disappointed because I love Patagonia and it’s one of my favorite brands and I was so excited about these pants!.

These are the best sweatpants I’ve ever owned! Very thick and warm, soft, and well-made. I loved the first one so much I bought a 2nd one. I’m a woman, and even though these are men’s sweatpants, they fit better than women’s sweatpants do on me.

I got the Sycamore (30″ length) and Rustic blue (32″ length) colors. I’m 5’7, about 170, and the XL fits great, even after them shrinking when washing/drying them. If washed/dried, they shrink by about a 1/2 – 3/4 inch in length, and a little less all around.

The only thing that I didn’t like about them was that they run short, so I would suggest going up in length if you plan to wash/dry them. I used the sizing chart but it is not accurate. had it been, I would not have ordered the 30″ the first time.

The 2nd pair, 32″ length, was still a little short but not as bad. However, if I bought a 3rd pair, I’d definitely get a 34″ length.

I bought several pair. They are warm. Too many dark colors, could be brighter/lighter. The 32 in. shrunk to inseam at a 28. Sent some back ordered 34’s. They were 38 in. long from inseam unlaundered.

I am tired of getting LLB things that I have to return because they are not sized correctly. However many inches from inseam they need to stay that long even after washing cold and medium drying. They were 60/40 Poly/cotton.

Also They are quite baggy I needed 3x for waist but legs are thinner. These could easily be made for larger waist and not follow suit in width of legs from thighs down.

Purchased these for my husband and he is so happy with them! They are soft inside and out, well made with pockets front and the hip, and perfect fit for him. He’s 5’11, 210 lbs. and I purchased an extra large.

I originally purchased a large in the joggers based on a review. They were too small, in a mens large, and he did not like the jogger cuff either. so I ended up with them. And I don’t like the jogger cuff either! My ankles get cold when they creep up.

So, I ended up buying the womens for myself! I love them! As comfortable and soft as the mens pant. Best sweats ever!.

Great look, rich color, perfect fit as described

Compared to other brands these are pretty expensive. Almost 2x the cost of my favorite joggers. Comfortable, well made. The knee area is pretty strange though. Tried to ordered a smaller pair to go even more skinny fit and shipping was through the roof.

I can order a 3 dollar tooth brush on Amazon with free shipping but can’t get 100 pants with free shipping? I also unchecked their box for getting promotional emails. I’ve gotten like 20 in the past month.

Full blown spam. Over priced, expensive shipping are my reason for giving a 3.

I ordered size medium because the model they said was 6’3″ and wore medium. well I am 5’11” and these were not where close to fitting. So I exchanged them for size large, which also did not fit and I ended up returning.

The returning process was so easy and the customer service was awesome. I ultimately did not end up purchasing anything, but this was the best customer service I can remember.

Much like the AO joggers only in super comfy Hyperloop! I absolutely love these sweats they are good for more than just Sunday’s I find myself reaching for these over all my other options. Great fit, quality and style.

Been messin with LRG for years now but the one thing I never really copped were any of the sweats. I have a huge sweatpant collection and I was never impressed with the boring, basic color options. I love the khaki/brown/olive type color ways, and all of the sudden y’all pulled through majorly! LRG is tricky with sizing so I copped medium and large on the pants.

Both fit me really good actually but I went with the large. I got them in khaki and burgundy and both colorways are. Even tho I’m usually an L in hoodies n jackets, I always have to size up on LRG tops so I grabbed the burgundy hoodie in XL which fits great and goes hella good with the khaki sweatpants! Thx LRG for bringing the heat! Give us some khaki and burgundy cargo sweatpants next.

On the red pants, the seam on the left leg, about an inch long, is open. It’s not a cut tear or puncture it’s just an open area where maybe the threads are off or something. There’s a hole basically.

I got an answer back from cust service in a day, and I replied and sent a picture of the issue and haven’t heard back anything in a few days…. I love the gear and the quality and will not hesitate to keep buying but I just wanted a replacement.

I’ll be happy to send this pair back.
