I never got to taste it because I was in a hurry when I ordered it and thought it was $1. 40 per can. upon tracking the product I noticed my mistake and this was coming from CONCESSION KING company and was $14.

09 PER CAN AND I ORDERED 2!!!! These two small cans were costing me over $28. 00 and so I returned them and I am waiting for my refund. We will see how that goes. I just thought I would try this gravy instead of making my own for a change.

Buyer beware if you don’t check the price closely. Not sure why Walmart would use them as a vendor.

Campbell’s products are another of my go to brand names, though soup is what I think they do best. This turkey gravy is very good and four stars is the highest I’d give canned gravy. Im very picky and I only eat turkey gravy.

When I have a lot of cooking and I’m not making it myself, I’ll buy this one or one other. The price is right and it tastes really good.

i love this gravy. works great with like a thanksgiving type of dry turkey or chicken. and i also really like to put it in chicken soup when someone is sick. like a chicken broth kind of. and if you feel like it’s a little to thick add some water.

I absolutely love this gravy not only around Thanksgiving time but throughout the year. It tastes great but I like to add extra spices and seasoning in it to give a zesty type of flavor. This gravy is great on mashed potatoes, rice, bread or any dish that you want to make.

It’s not too thick or thin and the texture is good. My family loves it a lot and my friends enjoy it as well. Gravy is a basic product in my household especially the beef flavored one because we like it more than the other flavors.

I highly recommend everyone to try it out and see how great it tastes. I will definitely continue to buy this brand and enjoy it.

It’s a super easy way to prepare gravy and tastes very close to homemade. It’s very convenient and can be microwaved in just a few minutes and ready to go for your meal. I don’t think anyone would know it’s not homemade if you didn’t tell them.

100% better than the gravy mix that comes in the powder packets. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this jarred gravy. The turkey and chicken flavors are the only good ones though. They should make a savory herbs one, in my opinion.

But overall, I highly recommend this gravy to anyone for any occasion that gravy is needed.

This is my family and I’s favorite Gravy. They are usually 2 for $4 at my local Kroger store. It tastes so good and the texture is just right, its not to thick and paste like and its not watery. We add salt to it once its warmed up, which we use the stove and sometimes the microwave.

Every Thanksgiving we have this gravy on our dinner table. Chicken is our favorite but sometimes we switch it up and get beef or turkey instead. I use it to top off my white rice and creamed corn blend, which is pictured below.

This gravy works well in a pinch or for a weeknight meal, when scratch made takes too long. The flavor is great although I punch it up with some herbs and seasonings. I never get any complaints, and everyone enjoys it.

It isn’t expensive and I try to keep some on hand. You get the feeling of homemade gravy without all of the fuss; plus I live in the south so a cooler kitchen is always welcome.

I love this gravy for putting on my homemade meatloaf. It’s so much better than ketchup. It gives meatloaf a grown up twist to traditional meatloaf. It is so much better than the brown gravy you get in the packets and mix with water.

I am so much more than satisfied with this product I have buying this for years and will probably be buying it for years to come unless if they stop making it or change how it tastes.

Needed something on hand for an elderly parent who wants gravy on everything. It was the lowest sodium chicken gravy on the shelf with the least fake ingredients. It won’t fool you that it’s homemade gravy made when a real roast chicken is present, more like a chicken ran thru it.

I wouldn’t eat it but it gets the job done.

I use this product on meats, mashed potatoes and a meal in a pan ) meat, onions, vegetables over noodles. Keeps meats moist and tender. You no longer have to try to figure out how to make grandma’s gravy from scratch.

I decrease the recommended amount of water just slightly and substitute with an equal amount of drippings from whatever meat I’m cooking. Yummy. If you want to make your gravy a little richer add tablespoon of butter immediately after the gravy has thickened.

This smells weird. The color and texture is ok – and I can pretend it is gravy – but is smells off and it does not taste like regular brown gravy. When the label says premium, you expect it to be what it purports to be (brown gravy).

It is not. I bought it because it did not look like it contains gluten. I am still not sure about that – but I am sure that between the smell and the taste – I wish I had not purchased such a large container of this stuff.

I like McCormick gravies. I use them to cook in my crock pot with. I use the brown gravy when making my roast. The gravy comes out so delicious and everybody loves it. I like how their gravies taste compare to other brands and I have tried many different brands.

Some are too watery, some are too bland and this one is just right. It has a nice consistency not too thin or thick. Love it on mash potatoes and rice too. I have changed how other people cook their roasts because everyone always enjoys my roast.

I always tell them use McCormick brown gravy not another brand or it will not come out like this and be as good.

This brand is not my favorite. Its a little salty for me but works when you have no other choice. I would not say this is a healthy choice. I would improve this product by maybe lowering the sodium in the product.

It is a very great value for the price.

Gravy is my fave. I could drink it by itself lol. I love this brand and the turkey is our favorite flavor. I add a little salt and pepper and a very small pinch of dried thyme and it turns our tasting like home made Thanksgiving dinner gravy.

If this is your favorite thing to eat for a meal, I apologize in advance. I’ve always wanted to try biscuits and gravy. Nowadays, when everything is so expensive, and the corporations seem unwilling to at least temporarily freeze, or lower, the cost of all of the products whose prices they have increased substantially in order to help us Americans feed their families, like everyone else, our household is struggling to afford groceries.

This sausage gravy was affordable, and had a decent-looking ingredient list, so we ordered it. We should have just made our own. Bought some cheap sausage, fried it up, and made our own white sauce with butter, flour, and milk.

This Great Value Country Sausage Gravy is- not good. It has a very “industrial cafeteria/feed them something cheap to shut them up” character to it. The gravy is thin-tasting- oddly watery- and the sausage is in tiny little pieces, and there doesn’t seem to be much sausage.

The gravy has also been weirdly over-seasoned with one specific spice- maybe sage, or bay leaves. I like both of those seasonings, but this gravy has a LOT of whatever spice that is, and as a result that’s all you can taste, and you can’t enjoy the other flavors.

Maybe the overdose of this spice is trying to cover up an unpleasant flavor?- I don’t know. Now I know why my mother cooked everything from scratch. Though it is not as convenient, cooked from scratch food is less expensive than prepared food, and you can control what goes into your food, and season it the way you like it.

So, while it was only a few dollars wasted, who can afford to waste even a few dollars these days? The gravy just got thrown away, as no-one could stand eating it. (The biscuits were good, though. ).

Tried a can of this and Libby’s to see which is better. Pretty much the same taste, but Great Value acted more like homemade gravy while heating it up than Libby’s. Due to circumstances at the moment, I heat in an oven-proof glass bowl in the oven while the biscuit is baking.

I use half a can at a time. The other half is put into another container to store in the fridge. Other reviews say it gets thin as water using the rest this way, but that’s never happened to me. Might be a bit thinner (nowhere near thin as water!), and still tastes great for canned gravy! Will continue to buy for convenience at this time.

This is a great price on this Great Value sausage gravy and it makes a quick breakfast so much easier. Most of my family loves sausage and sausage gravy with biscuits and this low priced gravy makes it so much quicker and easier and less expensive to make.

I do have to say though that it is not as good of gravy as another name brand canned gravy we have purchased in the past but it is less expensive. If I am having a big family get together for breakfast, I do mix one can of this gravy with one can of a name brand to save money and still have good tasting gravy.

Don’t get me wrong, this is good tasting gravy, just not the best tasting.

I’m pretty picky about my sausage gravy, and I thought the Libby’s was quite good. Slightly spicy, thick gravy, decent sausage flavor, and an o. k. amount of sausage pieces in it. The sausage was surprisingly good, and it had NO weird hard pieces in it like you sometimes get with other processed meat products.

(‘Mystery morsels’ we call them in our house. ) It was slightly saltier than I prefer, and I would have liked a few more sausage pieces in it. But, overall, served over biscuits and scrambled eggs, I found it to be delicious! Will definitely buy this again!.

This Libby’s canned sausage gravy tastes like some sort of flour paste with bits of meat in it. When I put it in the can I thought, this is too thick. I thought heating it up would help. It does not.

I piled it on my biscuit and sausage patty. It’s a bit gelatinous, I took a bite and my first thought was maybe I was supposed to add milk or water. It’s really bland. Tastes like a cream of flour soup.

The sausage bits are there but they don’t taste like sausage. They don’t taste like much of anything. I’ll stick to the powdered mixes. This was not for me.

No, NOTHING beats homemade sausage gravy (unless it’s my sister’s) !!! All in all it’s quite good and very nice over hot buttered biscuits. A tad bit salty but I cut that down with a little heavy cream.

For a quick breakfast or late night snack it’s perfect. I’m a savory snacker so instead of ice cream or chips I heat up a biscuit – my homemade or a frozen one – and aahhhh. comfort food. Also makes a great dip when mixed with rotel red or green spicy chili’s and a cheddar sauce.

We use different breads, veggies or tortilla chips for dipping.

By now, I have tried almost all of Bisto’s gravy granule products – well, if we’re talking about their meat-free/vegetarian-friendly ones, and not those which have been “improved” with the use of actual meat juices, I have, anyway.

In effect, I hadn’t yet tried any of the latter like this pork gravy which has actual pork listed as an ingredient versus their other products which, by some wizardry, pretty successfully mimic various types of meat gravy completely without the actual use of meat.

I have since used this pork gravy a total of 3 times and, as yet, I’m still unsure as to how I feel about it, honestly. Pork is actually the meat that I eat the very least, so it’s possible that this could be related…but, I don’t know.

I feel as though this gravy has a somewhat strange smell and taste. At the same time, though, again, I don’t eat a lot of pork, and I didn’t exactly use this gravy to, say, improve the taste of cooked pork.

Everyone has different taste when it comes to food, so it’s certainly possible that someone else will like – maybe even really like – this product, but I personally would not purchase this again. I might be tempted to try a different one, like chicken, instead out of curiosity, because, despite the fact that I know that I don’t tend to eat pork practically at all anymore, I never really expected that I would dislike this product for this reason, or even just in general.

Should I find that I dislike the chicken version also, then I would know that it’s these particular kinds of their gravies that I don’t like out of their whole gravy granule range. At the very least, these granules, like their others, are easy to prepare, requiring only boiled water and the appropriate amount of granules for the amount of gravy needed.

I thought I’d try this gravy out as an impulse buy during my weekly shop and I can gladly say I did not regret it. The texture of the gravy granules resembles a light power it dissolved amazingly well with no lumps unlike other premium gravies I’ve tried in the past.

The taste is great you can definitely taste the beefy flavour from the first mouthful. This is my go to gravy now I feel it’s definitely worth paying a little bit more for the huge difference in quality and taste compared to others.

Everyone knows this is the cheapest and best premade gravy. I grabbed it in a pinch 15 years ago incase I needed extra gravy for a turkey I cooked and brought to a relatives house. I’ve been buying Campbell’s gravy ever since.

I use the beef gravy in stews, shepherds pie, meatloaf and pot roast, the chicken and turkey gravy for pot pies and when I need a little extra to go with my homemade gravy. Everyone who uses this agrees it’s the best kept secret store bought gravy.

and it doesn’t have a ton of fake ingredients. Better than the ones in fancy jars !!.

I live alone, so making large meals is not my regimen. I love beef gravy and Campbell’s beef gravy is easy, tastes great on beef dishes like beef roast roast, Salisbury steaks, with mashed potatatoes.

It’s a good price and value for a meal with the taste of home on a Sunday with my family. Also great to use for a beef pot pie. Campbell’s is a name I trust, I use their products often to prepare meals with little fuss and great additional favors and textures.

Adding mushrooms is my favorite addition. Also, easy addition to leftovers for hot roast beef sandwiches and a side of mashed potatoes, one of my Grandmothers favorites. Keep some on hand in your pantry for quick delicous comfort meals.

Awful. Just beef stock in a can. This is not gravy. I won’t buy Campbell’s gravy again. It is literally as watery as tap water, and has about the same amount of flavor.
