I am 71 inch tall and 205 weight. My dummy is 70 lbs 5-4inch. It was some challenge to put judo gi on it due to not posable arms. It is good for practice osotogari and ogoshi. For osotogari i found out that dummy has to lean partually on door opening for support.

For ogoshi you are good to go in any open area. Due to not very well movable arms it is not easy to practice for seinogi, however the fact that arms are not well displaced make you feel kind like you are dealing with real situation.

Is is not bending waist which is good for osotogari because you don’t have to struggle with keeping it’s balance. The hardest part is to lift dummy from the floor. That is most work you will do. I am giving 4 stars because i have dummy less then 1 month.

Bought this to help with my judo throws, ground/pound and BJJ. Received it within a few days of ordering online. Well made and stuffed too. Couldn’t beat the discounted price of $149 compared to the unfilled ones you see on other popular ordering websites for the same and higher priced.

It was well made. The double stitching at critical seams and overall material was more than expected. And through Walmart return policy, there’s no hassle or costs involved in returning the item to the store.

This grappling dummy seemed to be too heavy, even for itself. The seams at the joints Will buckle under its own weight

Super pleased with all the items I have purchased from Haybusa. Their Long Sleeve rash guard and Full leg Jiu Jitsu Spats are very comfortable and the texture around the cuffs (ankles and waist for spats, wrists, neck and waist for rash guard) are far superior to other suppliers.

I have Fuji and Raven items that I rarely use anymore. These Hayabusa items are truly my go to items for rolling! Lastly, the color optics are awesome! They are black until you start to stretch the fabric when the colors ‘appear’ it is super cool!!!!.

Where to start the overall design is really cool, the material has kept me cool during my morning rolls in this Texas heat! And I love the elastic band helps keep everything from shifting too much a little tough to put on around the ankles but I wouldn’t change it.

All in all I love this and am consistently satisfied with y’all’s products !.

Really really love them. I’m a skinnier guy about 6 foot tall but only 150 pounds. They fit my legs great and don’t move at all. I really love how they feel and the impact protection is really great.

Would recommend. I got size medium. I will say they are a little tough to put on and take off but it’s worth it when they don’t move upon impact.

I have only used them for 1 nights worth of Muay Thai but so far so good. I got lots of compliments on them throughout the class and they worked really well. They stay put much better than some of the other styles guys were wearing and the quality of them makes me think they are going to last for a long time so time will tell.

If I had any sort of negative feedback it would be that to get them on and off when sweaty is a bit of a challenge but that is the price you pay to have them stay put while training. I would grab these while they are still on sale!!!.

Great protection but now useless after BOA broke after about 75 days (used twice a week 45 minutes each class). BOA system worked “ok” before the one broke and stopped tightening. Would NOT recommend, even at the outlet price.

I love my new fairtex gloves the quality is amazing it truly is some of the best gloves on the market this my third pair of gloves I have a very cheap entry level glove that had very poor wrist support, and a midrange glove that is decent but just terribly designed by the wrist and over time would just come loose after training.

Hence why I decided to invest in a proper pair of gloves and after doing numerous amounts of research I decided to go with fairtex and I very happy I did. It’s got great wrist support which is very important especially with bag work.

It has snug fit to where my hands feel secure and won’t slide around like my cheap pair. If your serious about your boxing/kickboxing/muay Thai/mma journey definitely invest it some quality gloves it’s been a tremendous difference already!.

Really enjoy the BGV1 gloves that I purchased – I’ve tried many different brands of MT gloves and I can honestly say that these are some of the best. Quality is fantastic, they look awesome lol, and the superb padding is what really stands out for me.

You will not feel a thing in these if you throw your punches correctly – it’s really amazing! The shipping was also super fast and the gloves came in mint condition. Definitely enjoy both the product and the service and would recommend.

Quality materials and workmanship – no issues there. My hands are larger than average, but not huge, and the 18oz gloves are slightly tight which is probably how they’re supposed to fit. Once they’re on you’re not going to be able to open a water bottle or anything, so be aware of that.

The velcro is very secure. The glove is a little “taller” on the striking surface from the top of the fist to the bottom than I would like it to be as there is “extra” glove that overhangs the index finger and pinky fingers.

Overall, the materials are great but it’s a $100 pair of gloves and I think you could be better served getting two or three lesser priced pairs of gloves and trying them out. I wish I had tried these on in person instead of ordering them blind.

I like the construction but am not crazy about the fit.

The design is very good and pretty. It covers your face really well including your eyes, and nose. I love the cover on my face so I feel pretty safe in spurring. However, it is not the best head hear for ‘boxing’ because even light jab will shake your head in this gear.

My face get no damage at all, but after spurring my head hurts from jab feeling like riding a shaking roller coaster. I mainly bought this to practice with my foam sword and it is the best gear for it.

Very safe from foam swords. CONCLUDTION: -Best gear for martial arts with sticks or foam sword. -I still use for boxing and I love how it covers my nose really well, however it shakes my head instead of absorbing punch powers.

-The pretties design. I have red one and pink for my friend she loves how it looks. -if you have bigger cheeck bone, get 1 more size bigger. My head is perfectly fit but my cheeck bone hurts little bit after 10 mins wearing it.

-overally, I still recommend. It is pretty good fit.

My wife suffers from seizures and uses this helmet to protect her head when she falls and during the attacks. The padding at the front and sides is effective and we can get the helmet on and off quickly due to the velcro fastening.

Would give it 5 stars if it had the same level of padding at the back – the back of the head is not protected. The helmet is sturdy, it gets a battering 15 or 20 times a day and each helmet lasts about a year – the velcro is first to go as it wears out.

Pink suits her best :o).

The RDX is a good quality budget head guard. It doesn’t hook under the chin to well like some others, so it can slip upwards occasionally. I would recomend, if you usually buy an extra large, then i would get a large in the RDX model.

That said its well made and comfortable.

Great for protecting the nose, teeth and eyes, a punch, kick, elbow or knee can’t get through. Vision is much better than my boy thought it would be. Size small is perfect for a smaller than average 9 year old, with lots of adjustment space to make it bigger.

Had a great session of sparring, provide great protection during training, and doesn’t get loose while training.

My granddaughter named him George. I picked George up to help with her TKD self defense training. It’s not the intended purpose of this grappling dummy, but I’ll hear her working with him none-the-less.

Good value for the spend?? Don’t know. But time is more precious than a few dollars, perhaps, and anything that helps reduce the training time to move through her belt progression seems like a worthwhile investment.

And when we’re done with George, I suspect I can easily resell.

I purchased this item for my son’s 10th birthday. I liked the look of it rather than the other spar dummies that look like a person. It stands up nice so they can use it has a punching bag but still treat it as a dummy person by kicking out its legs or grabbing arm to flip over.

I would have liked it to be a bit heavier because my son is very strong to use as a punching bag someone has to hold it still but other than that it’s an awesome buy.

I have 4 dummies already, for takedowns and leg kicks, this is the best by far! very smart design, it can handle leg kicks to a point, BUT this was made to be a takedown/grappling dummy. for takedowns, and leg kicks combined, its great.

For the reviews that were” bolts are rusting ” I would ask where are you storing it? Is it somewhere with moisture? Is it somewhere that gets wet and then dry? Is it in a place where maybe, just maybe, rusting would happen on metal ? Is it that practicing hitting a fake body, that shakes on the bolts that are holding it together, might wear on the bolts that are holding it together.

Could it also be due to a situation similar to those that complain about splits in the body like “After 1-3 years of punching and kicking an object in the same places (habit /comfort) it started to split”.

could it be considered “wear and tear” at this point? After PUNCHING AND KICKING an object? Bags also suffer the same.

I purchased Bob after about my 3rd time to this store, almost buying him, and deciding he was a bit too costly for what it was. this is an absolute mistake. The price is the quality- simply said. I have at my home a traditional heavy bag, which I still enjoy and use, but BOB takes this to another level; for one, if you use water (which I recommend) Bob is very versatile.

On nice hot sunny days I will take Bob outside and get a brutally sunny workout then clean him off, drain him out, and bring him back inside. Heavy bags are fixed to the ceiling or stands. BOB’s material will sweat with you, literally, and he will become more slippery are the fight goes on and realistically harder to maintain your clinches and add that little extra sting to your skin when hitting.

BOB also has perfect details like his little protruding solar plexus which allows you to really aim at things unlike a leather bag. He also moves much more and gives you the realistic feeling of your target giving in to your punches a bit more, moving away and then back toward you, and you’ll even miss quite a lot if you are actually sparring him like a heavy bag (also realistic).

It’s been about 3 years since I purchased Century BOB XL. I got 5 of them for my dojo. Just recently some white “stuff” started to come out from the bottom of the torso where it slides onto the base.

It’s not a fully sealed unit, you can see the inner fill from the bottom At first I thought it was dust forming around the base, but after detailed inspection I found out that the inside fill material (foam) starts disintegrating from heavy use.

Now we have to vacuum after each use. I guess BOB is now dieting and losing weight. When filled with water it easily slides around and can be knocked down with heavy kicks. Filling it with sand can be time consuming and unpractical unless you never plan to move.

The rubber skin seems to be holding up very well. It’s an OK value for a free-standing bag. It doesn’t exactly substitute a heavy-bag but nevertheless, it is a great tool for training striking/kicking accuracy or speed, human-like shape really facilitates targeting.

It is easy to set up. I would only recommend this product for home use or strictly targeting tool, not for professional heavy use.

Ok, lets start by saying all the reviews you read saying it falls or topples easily – they’re right. One hook, one kick, one straight will knock this thing over. It’s not a traditional heavy bag. Repeat; It’s not a traditional heavy bag.

That does not mean you can’t get a great workout in with this bag though. I typically do 5x 5minute rounds standing, then I lay it over and do ground n’ pound work all out for 3x 1minute rounds. I’m 5’8″ 190lbs with boxing, wrestling and jiu jistu experience – and I’ll burn anywhere between 600-800 cals in 50-60 min workouts (I’ll incorporate some other stuff, mainly kettlebells for reference).

This bag allows you to MOVE around, shoot a take down and implement some ground work, throw elbows, kicks, and knee’s. If you want to stand in one place, not throw any kicks or knees, and just throw heavy hands – which hey I get it, that has its place – this bag isn’t for you.

I’ve found some luck with actually missing a punch; so for example I’ll hit-1, miss-2, and hit-3 when the bag sways back towards me. Is this ideal? Absolutely not, I definitely get frustrated at times pending on how hard you beat on it, the unreliable swaying or movement of the bag can throw you off your rhythm.

Now about its durability, again I have experience in boxing, I’d like to think I throw somewhat heavy kicks & after roughly 6-7months of use mine is holding up just fine. The biggest take away from this is you’re giving up a traditional heavy bag experience for a couple things; free standing bag, versatile use (takedowns, kicks, ground work, knees).

Don’t buy this and expect to use it like a good ole 80lbs Everlast bag because you will be disappointed. But I’ve really enjoyed its addition to my home gym.

I was a member of a local boxing gym for years and then Covid hit. I LOVE boxing and was thinking of investing a couple of thousand into another at home bag until I read other reviews and saw a local boxing coach in the store buying this very bag.

I thought if it was good enough for him it was good enough for me. I think it’s great! I have boxed for years and kickbox. I think this bag is good for home workouts. It is not comparable to what you will find in a gym, but it works great for me to punch, kick, grab, and fight at home.

It does not move and wobble like some described. It is, however, more of a realistic movement in fighting, which I like, unlike the huge swaying of bags in the gym, it moves with punches like someone getting punched would.

I think gyms should invest in the heavy sandbags at the bottom that weigh the heavy bags and keep them from moving so much. Trying to hit those targets was just laughable at times. This is really nice to move around and punch.

You can grab the top and knee it, it stays upright with punches and kicks. I’ve enjoyed it!.

This bag is cool and I’m happy with it, but it has limitations that a hanging heavy bag wouldn’t have. If you’re a hard hitter this bag will tip, the sand shifts, and it’s hard to have rapid repeat hits.

However, it’s a versatile bag that can be used for grappling as well as striking. And it’s easy to store in a closet and pull out for use. I wish the base were 30 lbs heavier to be able to take harder blows.

Not worth $300, but definitely worth 2.

Lets start with the positive aspects first: The mats are very easy to install and feel great. I can slide with my bare knees on them without any burn feel. The surface texture imitates traditional tatami mats, which makes them quite stylish wouldnt it be for the diminishing effects listed below.

Unfortunately there are also serious negative issues to report: 1. The mats stink a lot initially. Now six days after installation and continuous forced ventilation in the room it IS STILL NOTICABLE.

During and after installation I got a serious head ache and an upset stomach from the intensive smell. I actually decided to go away for a couple days so the mats would vent out. I STILL WONDER IF THIS IS A HEALTH HAZARD.

I will get an environmental consultant measure and analyze the outgassing of the mats and will consider more actions on this. Stay tuned. 2. Some mats had stains with what seems to be black grease and pressed in black granules.

I could clean it off for the most part, but this is still unacceptable for a new product. 3. Color and directional texture fluctuations are strongly noticeable and diminish the overall elegance of the mats.

Update: Its now about a month after installing the mats and I am very happy with them. I was contacted by the president of Greatmats to resolve the issue, which I am impressed by. The smell has gone, only if I hold my nose right to the seams I can still smell it.

I have also researched the issue on my own and thats what I have learned: The mats are made of a closed pore foam, meaning the softening agent that makes the plastic soft is trapped within the pores and does not fume out.

EXCEPT along the cutting edges, where it vents out with decreasing intensity. I live in California with one of the highest standards regarding volatile organic compounds health hazards. Maybe I was unlucky to receive my mats directly from production before the cutting seams had a chance to outgas.

I hope Greatmats responds constructively to this input and conducts their own gassing tests and/or offers their customers an outgassed option of their mats. I have accordingly changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars.

These puzzle mats are sturdy, durable and light weight. They fit together perfectly, and are easy and quick to set up. I use them for judo. They are a good surface to fall on — soft enough, but no danger of bottoming out.

However, they are not so good for the person doing the throws because your feet sink in too far to pivot well. That could lead to twisting a knee. I use these puzzle mats as a bottom layer, and put traditional 1 meter x 2 meter tatami mats on top.

This arrangement seems to me to be as good as a sprung floor, but is cheaper and could be moved if I ever move. The mats on top give a good safe surface for throws — feet dont sink in, grip is good with no mat burn, etc — and the puzzle mats below make for a much less dense substrate, meaning a much more comfortable landing.

If I were doing an activity without throws (BJJ?), the puzzle mats alone would be ideal. Customer service was helpful, and delivery was great.

We needed a specific kind of mats for our space, and we decided to go with Greatmats. They were expensive, but we felt that they would be the best possible quality. We were not disappointed. The final product not only met all of our safety requirements, but they look incredibly professional.

We have gotten a number of comments on how they look. Also, the material was very easy to work with. I think my favorite thing about the experience, however, was the prompt and thorough customer service.

I felt that I never was left hanging or uncertain about any of my (many) questions. My only disappointment with the product is that I would love if the beveled edge pieces also had a corner option. I think that would be the final piece to make the mats look incredible in our space.

However, that product detail isnt available. We plan on using this company again for any of our future mat needs.

Man, Ill tell you this. I box for cardiovascular reasons. Not competitively. But Ive been through many gloves, mostly Everlast gloves and they are not as good when compared to these RDXgloves. I was medically discharged in the Army after 4 surgeries on my right wrist and arm.

I cant twist my wrist at all and its stiff for life now and it hurts every time I twist it or I hit the bags hard. But recently it hasnt because of the way these gloves absorb impact! When I first put them on, they are 16oz but felt like MMA gloves, so light! And when I hit my heavy bag which is 100lbs and has a very HARD mid to bottom area, the gloves absorbed everything and I could go as hard as I wanted to, well 90% because my arm is broken.

Lol Anyways I would definitely recommend these gloves and for the price you cant beat it at only 37$ compared to Everlast which mine were 50$ and they didnt feel good at all and get WAYYYY HEAVIER for 16oz compared to the RDX gloves.

Buy it! You will not regret it.

Great for kids. Bwing a kid and punching a bag and it not move was devastating to me as a kid. To watch little faces light up with confidence as they connect fist to bag and see it move is a delight.

Good for beginner but a more novice person might want a more round bag.

OK, I was skeptical on these and fully prepared to send them back but I have to say that I am 100% impressed. I’ve put them through a rigorous workout (10-12, 3min rounds on 100lbs bag at ~100hits/min) nearly every day for the past 30 days and aside from being sweaty and gross inside, they’re still as good as new.

Very well made and a great fit. Probably going to be a long time before I wear them out but when I do, I’d buy them again.

Great glove for bag work and sparring. My first mma glove for training and its absolutely great. Really like the quality RDX has put into this glove.

Nice fit for my small hands good quality leather semi boxing glove bought for my flight klub exercise classes and love them. Hands are nice and open and don’t sweat like in fully enclosed boxing gloves.

Awesome Gi! The A2 size fit me perfectly. Very comfortable and strong. Tatami patches are a nice touch. Looking forward to many sessions rolling in this Gi.

I’m 6’1 and 76kg. Went for the A3L to ensure I had enough length, found the pants fit very well, gi top slightly too large. Can’t fault Tatami though, my error on sizing – still wear it as it’s my first gi and is of brilliant construction.

Have attempted to forcibly shrink it, which has occurred in the pants (still fits very well) but yet to see much difference in the top.
