20 Best Golf Shoes For Walking 18 Holes (2023 Updated)

Currently own Tour Alpha Boa, Pro SL Boa and now these. Find the width and general shape to be similar to Pro SL. They are extremely comfortable and I’m very happy with the purchase. One thing you may notice is the heal is quite low and it feels like they ‘slip’ but in fact they stay put on my feet.

The Tour Alpha I just can’t get used to, while the fit of overall shoe is fine the heal area is just too high for me and have had blisters all season post round when wearing them. In terms of the Stratos, I’d say they fit as expected or perhaps 1/2 size large in the Wide sizes.

Wis they had Boa version, that would make them perfect!.

I golf 4 times a week and walk the course. I have worn footjoy shoes for years and find that I am able to use them right out of the box with no problems. This pair is the exception. They are the most expensive shoes I have purchased and are not comfortable.

By the middle of the back nine, my feet were hurting. These shoes are very stylish but uncomfortable. It may be what the insole is made of. I bought another style of FJ shoe that is much more comfortable and wish I had bought that same style rather than this uncomfortable and overpriced shoe.

A golf shoe is not much good to a golfer if it is not comfortable for 18 holes of walking.

I wore my new Statos last week in less than ideal conditions. We had had heavy rain the day before and there was even standing water on a couple of fairways. I am pleased to report that my feet were dry at the end of the round and my shoes still looked like new! I had to wipe a bit of dirt that had accumulated on the heal but I was impressed! Also, the grip was positive despite my concerns of going spikless.

I was looking for a leather golf shoe because my Ecco shoes had finally had the radish. I looked at Squarz and some other brands, yea, they are all PU leather, in other words, plastic. Plastic shoes for $170.

00, no way. I then came across Johnston Murphy H1 hybrid XC4 golf shoes. I had worn Johnston Murphy shoes before and found them to be high quality and very comfortable. I decided to give the XC4’s a try and ordered from Dillards.

They were shipped promptly, received in 4 days. Out of the box these shoes felt great. On the course they felt better. I ended ordering another pair in black and they too were out of the box comfortable.

These are now my go to golf shoes, thanks Dillards!! For carrying a quality product.

Purchased these XC4 H1 Luxe Hybrid Men’s Golf Shoe for my stylish hubby. They are BEAUTIFUL. I thought initially his selection of brown might be a little stodgy. uh uh! Gorgeous with the white sole, and the stitching detail on the leather is elegant and streamlined.

My husband loves the fit and feel: true to size, light, comfortable from day 1 and supportive. A fantastic purchase-worth every cent.

I normally wear Foot Joy shoes and I’ve always been pleased. However, I wanted to try something different. Since I’m familiar with and love Johnston Murphy shoes, I decided to give them a try. I ordered the XC4 H4-Luxe Hybrid golf shoe.

I think I’ve found my forever shoe. In Johnston Murphy fashion, they fit true to size, feel great, wear and look great. A quality shoe; I’ve already recommended them to a friend; love these shoes!.

I really love these shoes. They were comfortable from the outset with no break in period necessary, although the sensation of the zero drop does take a little getting used to. I usually suffer weeks of blisters on my little toe with new golf shoes, but the wide toe box avoids this completely without looking obviously wide.

They have proved to be completely waterproof on sodden winter courses and there is plenty of grip in the wet. The white toe box also cleans up very easily after a muddy round. The sole is quite firm which offers fantastic support on the steep course I play by not allowing my foot to roll downhill inside the shoe.

This has helped reduce post match knee pain considerably. I do wish that the shoe had typical lace holes all the way up instead of the fabric loop right at the top. Pulling my laces tight feels very abrasive through the loop and I see that as a potential weak spot- either the loop breaking or cutting through my shoe lace.

Apart from that, I can’t fault these shoes.

One of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn period. And after walking the first 18 in them they’re definitely keepers. The feel through the sole is wonderful and you can feel each individual toe pressure into the ground if you think about it.

If you don’t somehow it enables better balance for me, wierd but I can feel it as compared to my more conventional Adidas. Another interesting aside is that when walking over gravel or other tough surfaces it almost gives the bottom of your feet a massage.

Again not something you would think about when getting shoes like these but it does feel good, at least for me. I suppose you would have to try to avoid stepping on anything too sharp. Now the golf… the lower heel has an interesting affect of making or helping me stay on my left heel and beyond so I can keep my left hip clear.

The only thing I miss is a bit more structure in the forefoot of the right shoe so when I go up on my toe in the follow through I have a bit more support but this is definitely not a big deal. The cleat design is very effective.

Each cleat is about 3/16”-1/4” deep so the grip on most surfaces is very good. Let’s see how long they keep being effective. The sole is made of a flexible rubber so maybe the wear on the cleats will be minimal since the cleats will more flex than grind away, if you know what I mean.

In any case I try to keep my walking on pavement and concrete to a minimum in order for them to last. I imagine after the soles are worn too much for golfing, that they’re going to turn into street shoes for me.

Another great thing about the shoe is the knit upper. It’s really breathable in that you can feel a breeze through the shoe if a cool one passes by. Awesome for summer rounds, which is what I bought them for.

All in all great shoes and great golf shoes.

Always been a footjoy fan and was super excited for this new version. First round with these decided to walk 18 and carry the clubs. Let me say these are super comfortable shoes with great support. Felt like walking on a sponge the entire round.

However nine holes in and the heavens opened up with a nice little fall downpour. Perfect test for these stating they are 100% waterproof. Unfortunately my feet were wet within 15 minutes. I was skeptical given the mesh fabric design on the top of the show but expected more given the specs.

Will probably still rock these on dryer days but highly disappointed that the waterproofing did not hold up. Added a few pictures below to show how wet my socks ended up.

I bought a pair in store, brought them home, wore them for 20 minutes around the house and had an issue with the achilles that other reviews have mentioned. I also wear the the hyperflex spikes which do not have the issue.

I compared the 2 and noticed that the flex 21’s are manufactured differently in the achilles area. I ordered the same exact pair online to see if I could get lucky with better manufacturing and low and behold.

Footjoy actually changed how that area of the shoe is manufactured. The flex 21’s are now put together the same way as the hyperflex spikes which should alleviate the digging into the achilles issue that plagued the first batch of these shoes.

Hope this helps. Also as a side note, footjoy shoes do run large. actually huge, so it is important to know your footjoy size vs. other brands’ sizing. highly recommend.

I have always worn a narrow or slim in shoes, and have other Footjoy shoes in 8N. I really wanted these to work as I liked the updated styling. However, they were too wide with minimal adjustability with the lacing.

The fabric underneath the laces was very stiff and would not cinch. Also the top of the tongue area stuck out from my ankle so that was not very attractive. I did have to return. If you have a slimmer medium width foot, these may work for you, but alas too wide for a truly narrow foot.

A redesign utilizing a true lace up tongue would be awesome Footjoy.

These are clearly the most comfortable golf shoes I’ve ever worn for golf. I walk 9 holes, 3-4 times a week and they just can’t be beat for comfort. They are also waterproof and they breath well. Only problem is the built in spiked soles wear out way before the shoe does.

This made it a deal breaker for me, I had to go back to shoes with replaceable spikes. They (the Skechers) lasted about six months. I tried to stay off off cart paths as much as possible to get the most out of them but you can’t always walk on grass.

That is the only reason for the 3 stars. However, they have provided new life on my mountain bike, being waterproof and they breathe so well, I continue to use them and they are now over three years old and they still look and feel great.

So, if you walk a lot playing golf, they are comfortable, just be prepared to buy new ones as they spikes will wear out and your feet will slip.

Great shoes for golfing! This is my second pair, first pair of lasting almost 4 years! The best thing about these shoes is you don’t have to put them on and take them off to golf. The tread provides acceptable grip on the turf, but can also be worn into the the grocery store or on other errands after your round.

Very comfortable & light. Also, water resistant. Walked 18 holes last week after 3 inches of rain overnight while visiting in the Midwest. These shoes kept my socks & feet dry through the end of my round.

But, they’re still breathable for those very hot days. like in Tucson in June.

I golf 5 days a week and these shoes were the most comfortable I have ever worn. Unfortunately the rubber spikes have broke off on both the shoes on the front outer part of the sole within 2 months of use.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but these are by far the worst FJ shoe I have ever owned. The shoe looks great in pics and on for the first time, but unfortunately they just don’t hold up well.

After just 1 use, they looked like I’d owned them for 6 months. The material picks up all the dust and dirt and very quickly discolours. I’m used to wiping my leather shoes down after every few rounds, but these literally needed wiping after every round and the material really doesn’t clean up well.

If you’re like me, and like your white shoes white, don’t bother. The biggest problem for me however, was how the shoe started getting weird indents on my right toe where I would turn up on to my toe in the golf swing.

Almost like dimples on a golf ball. Very strange. I will be going back to real leather shoes.

Out of this world lightweight with a very comfortable insole. You barely know they are on your feet as you walk. My new balance running shoes weigh twice as much as them. As with all Footjoys, measure your foot length.

They run one full size larger. Example, I wear a size 11 wide in my New Balance running shoes, 10 1/2 wide in my dress shoes. With my Footjoys, I wear a 10 wide. If your foot is 11 inches long, you will wear a 10.

Their widths are pretty standard. I wear an average wide shoe and their middle size (labelled WIDE) fit is what I would have expected.

I purchased a pair of Superlites XP white shoes on 9/17. I have worn these shoes 5 times and walked the golf course 4 of those times. They get dirty like all other golf shoes. The problem is it almost impossible to get them clean.

I always wipe of my shoes when I’m done. Most shoes, including my other 2 pairs of FootJoy shoes clean up with a damp cloth. Not the Superlites XP. They DON’T COME CLEAN. I even try leather cleaner. The only was they come clean is with a Mr Clean miracle sponge.

I don’t know if this is a defect or the way the shoe is intended. P. S. this is the first time I have written a BAD review.

My second pair of tour360 shoes. The last pair made it through 3+ season of Las Vegas golf and held up well. I have had problems with other Adidas shoes wearing out inside the heel due to poor materials choice.

The fabric / synthetic lining tends to wear through. Not with these shoes. Leather-lined, these hold up to heavy usage, sweat, water, everything. The boost midsole is supportive and soft with great comfort.

Overall, a great shoe – easy to recommend. The only negative is that the soft spikes are not replaceable, however I have never had to replace the soft spikes on a shoe. I expect that these will hold up just fine.

Had shoes for less than 1 year — nice looking, comfortable. HOWEVER, inside heel failed on both shoes with light use, and white plastic toe and sole turned yellow. I had seen warranty as 2 years on golf shoes but after going multiple rounds with customer support, they contend only 6 months.

Ridiculous for $200 shoes. Adidas, you should do better, I won’t be a customer anymore. Spread the knowledge to your friends.

Good-looking shoes and after initially trying them on, the fit was fine. However, after getting out to the course for the first time, I had very bad blisters on both heels after just a few holes of play.

(I have never had this issue with any other shoes before — including several other pairs of Adidas golf shoes). The shoes are unwearable for me. Unfortunately, GG would not accept a return due to the shoes being worn for 9 holes.

Very disappointed.

Love the shoes. and after a dozen times wearing them in dewy conditions, they are truly water proof. I wear an 11. 5 medium and the size recommended fit me perfectly. Plenty of room in the toe box for sure.

Great lateral support and arch support is good too. Only issue is after they get wet, the leather is crinkled in the toe crease area and the color at the tip of the toes is wearing off. I have used the proper colored shoe cream to try and help but doesn’t seem to do much.

As far as Carl’s is concerned. it is, imho, the best online source for golf related stuff. we don’t live close to either of the stores, but when we have been there, the one near Plymouth is outstanding.

I have been all this season for a replacement to my Biom Hybrid golf shoes. I want a solid BLACK color and I don’t see that the black color is offered anymore in the Biom Hybrid style. It seems like a very basic color to offer.

I decided to try the Biom H4 BOA as it is the only women’s golf shoe that is BLACK. I ordered two pairs just in case they discontinue the black in that golf shoe model. I do not like the Biom H4 BOA at all.

They are not anywhere as near as comfortable as the Biom Hybrid. I am sending both pairs back and will hope that next spring, ECOO decides to offer black again in the Hybrid shoe. Fingers crossed.

i have 2 pairs of these. 1- they’re stable beyond belief, and i’m a big guy. 6′ 240lbs. 2- they DO NOT stretch out or “roll” to the outside creating a “loose” fit. 3- i used the ECCO shoe care products on them waterproofing and shoe shampoo and cleaner and it does an amazing job.

they have a generous fit for the toes and i would consider the normal fit a touch wider than other brands (like adidas/nike). the soles are firm but flexible and have zero signs of wear after 4 months of use with an average of 3 rounds per week.

These were the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. almost! The overall fit and arch support was excellent. Unfortunately where the laces meet the side wall there is a ridge that puts pressure on the top side of your foot.

The pressure point was too much to bear. Shoes are back in the box and heading back to the retailer. Too bad these could have been the best golf shoes I have ever owned.

Purchase ECCO Core to walk golf course. I usually wear 43 (9. 5), but purchased 42. The footbed seems to run slightly longer than previous ECCOs I’ve owned. A little snug across laces as elastic is stitched inside on both sides of tongue (nice touch for snug fit and keeps tongue in place).

Also has removable foot insert if you need more space. Leather feels high quality and comfortable right out the box.

These shoes are awesome. I had to buy a size smaller than I usually do. I bought a size 44 (10/10. 5) but I usually wear a size 11 in American shoes. I took a quick detour for another brand and I will never waiver again.

The fit is perfect and I’m glad that I’m back in an Ecco shoe.

I purchased a pair of Adidas golf shoes and paid approximately $100. A couple of days later I was looking for something else on a golf site. I saw these same shoes for $74. So I emailed Carl’s and asked if they matched prices.

They said yes if it was the same product in the same size, etc. Well, the brand and shoes were identical. However, I ordered a 12 1/2 from Carl’s and the other site only had 12 or 13 but no 12 1/2 so they said that the match wasn’t complete so no adjustment.

Not real happy.

I bought this second pair because the darker ones were so comfortable. I am currently in Greece on a holiday doing all kinds of sightseeing and brought both pairs with me. Best decision I ever made. They are, for my feet, very versatile and comfortable.

Don’t know how durable but so far so good. Can’t wait to get back to Canada and try them on the golf course.

I’ve walked 9 and then 18 in these and the comfort factor is very high. Sole provides solid traction even on wet ground, but they don’t have that soft spike feel at all. Very easy to walk. One foot did get a bit damp early in my round.

A change of socks at the turn along with drying conditions remedied. But I suspect these won’t be quite as “waterproof” as claimed.

I golfed this weekend in the Fresh Foam X Defenders because the Striker v3 needs to be exchanged for a half size up after all. This pair turned out to be surprisingly good footwear for what it is – golf sneakers and not golf shoes.

It remained comfortable for my entire round of golf, but although indeed lightweight, my XW (4E) feet preferred the support and stability of my New Balance 990v5, 1540vs and 857 shoes as the round wore on because the trade-off of those features for less weight meant that my feet had to work harder as they got more tired.

Therefore, this pair seems more suitable for occasional play, especially if from a cart, than for golf tournaments or golf trips lasting more than one day. Additionally, even though this pair is offered in larger and wider sizes, it seems better-suited for young people and those with narrow feet than for seniors, wide-footed golfers and people carrying extra weight (whether on their bodies or from walking the golf course and carrying a golf bag full of equipment).

This is because the sneaker bottoms are narrow and, so, concentrate weight and make them seem wobbly (which is inherently unstable and is not what people who weari wide shoes made by New Balance typically are used to).

I would love to see New Balance offer more stable and supportive golf footwear, particularly now that a leading golf shoe maker no longer customizes its offerings for golfers with wider feet. I used to pay between $250 and $300 for a pair of those customized golf shoes, and so, it seems that New Balance has lots of pricing room.

While New Balance is at it, I would encourage it to have four cleats rather than two cleats on the heels of its golf shoes in order to prevent slippage and, also, would encourage it to make all of the cleats on its golf footwear replaceable using a standard tool and commonly available replacement cleats.

There are a few things I really like about this shoe: 1) Extremely lightweight; 2) Waterproof; 3) Stylish; and 4) Very slip-resistant spikeless sole. There are also a few disappointing attributes: 1) Runs a bit small in size (I bought an 8.

5 US Medium but these feel closer to an 8. 0 UK Medium; 2) The toe box could be a bit more generous, I can feel the uppers pressing against my big toes; and 3) The OEM laces are inferior and don’t stay tight, surprising given the shoe overall construction is above-average.

I’m happy that New Balance has entered the golf shoe arena because I really like their running shoes. However, at $130 a pair the Defender spikeless shoes aren’t as good as the Footjoy or Nike models in the same price range.

I was not aware this shoe did not have the attached tongue like the NBG4000WN and NBG4000WK. I bought the fresh foam defender to replace the 4000WK because black stains keep showing up on the perforated portion at the top.

(i would like to return these but I am having trouble finding the order) I purchased the 4000WK to replace another golf shoe that was staining my feet and socks blue. I did return those along with the stained socks.

I so far the NBG 5000WGY fits well and time will tell if the tongue moves under the laces or weird stains begin to appear. Attached pictures are from the 4000WK. The stains come from inside the shoes.

I have 3 pair of these FJ shoes and they are awesome. I love the layout of the golf spikes. They provide the best level of distribution and stability that I have ever had in FJ golf shoes. I hope they bring the displacement design back in future shoes.

Packaging was great, arrived on time. Size was perfect and the quality was awesome.

No argument, the FJ Tour X is a fine golf shoe; however I elected to go with a more traditional style/look and chose the FJ Dryjoy Premiere Packard Boa in Black/Gray 53921. Kudos to Carl’s Golfland for amazingly fast shipping and a return policy that is truly world-class.

They accommodated my numerous returns (without charge) until I dialed in the correct size that fit me perfectly! Can most definitely recommend and will certainly revisit for my next pair of FootJoys.

Love that Nike are taking their best air max silhouettes into the golf world I have at least one pair of each different one and love them all it stinks they don’t make them with replaceable spikes but the good news is after a season or two when they are worn down they still make great shoes off the course.

I like my golf shoes snug so these didn’t bother me especially once broken in but take width into account. If your going with the 270’s I’d suggest going with the black though unless you use stain and water repellent they aren’t going to stay white long even if you clean them right away.

I don’t wear spikeless when it’s wet I’ve only played in light dew with these and after only a few rounds there are slight blemishes and noticeable discoloration but that still doesn’t mean I have a lesser opinion of the shoe keep innovating! Would love to see some air max 95’s, and plus TN golf shoes!.

Bought these this week and played in them for the first time yesterday, walking 9 in league play. A couple of obvious things: – These look a lot like a running shoe, and that’s the look I wanted. If it’s not what you’re looking for, these aren’t the golf shoes for you.

– These are not as light and comfortable as my Nike running shoes (AP’s) but they are still very comfortable – This is a Nike, that means it’s going to be narrow and run a little small. I wear a size 8 in a Nike which means I’m a 7 1/2 in most brands.

which is hard to find. I have narrow feet so Nike’s work great for me. If you don’t like narrow shoes, these arent’ the golf shoes for you. – I found the shoes to be stable when playing and the grip was fine.

This is my first pair of spikeless golf shoes so I was a bit concerned. No problems at all (there were problems with my swing and hooking everything into the woods on the left but I can’t blame the shoes).

– The heel is a little elevated so it is a bit of a different feel. These showed up yesterday before lunch so I wore them around the house all day before I played in them last night. By the time I was playing, I was already used to them.

I can’t say anything about longevity since I just got them. I did clean them when I got home and they cleaned up pretty well. Overall, I’m really happy with my purchase. If you’re a Nike guy and want this look, buy this shoe!.

I am really excited about buying the 270 golf shoes. Unfortunately, its 30 degrees here and I won’t be wearing them anytime soon. They are a pretty comfortable shoes, from the little I wore them. I did order a full size larger than normal.

The blue color looks good,, bur as with any other golf spike, I worry there is too much white and will get dirty quick. They seem to run a little narrow. Carl’s Golfland may have the best shipping in the business.

My package arrived quickly. I am very happy with this company in the few purchases I have made.

Overall very high quality. They will last and are very durable. The platform is super stable and definitely provides stability on all terrain and elevations during swings. I bought a half size up like I did with Pro SL and found that to be a mistake.

A few design issues that could be addressed to improve are the BOA on the heel is less than ideal. Hard to easily push in and out and most people like me who want to pop the BOA out and then use the other foot to slip the shoe off will find that is not an option as the BOA easily pops in trying this.

Also turning the dial to tighten requires bending over more due to the awkward location and to get fully snug. I’ve had several other BOA shoes in the past and the side location is much more convenient and practical.

Also I found the design locations of the strings to tighten leave the toe and foot location towards the toes from getting snug. I think this could be improved. Overall for the price, which is substantial, I think I would go with the lace Tour Alpha over this single BOA model.

And I would not go up a size like the Pro SL model. But I would recommend trying these on in person and walking around to ensure the feel is right. I’ve played over a dozen rounds so far, walking the course, and the outside ankle bone area will rub, but otherwise comfortable.

I attribute the side rub to having a half size too large.

I have owned many FJs over the years and they will always remain the #1 shoe in golf for many reasons. My most recent FJ purchase was the FJ Tour X, also in BOA for comparison. Because I have narrow feet, the dual BOA is a great option.

That said – the Tour Alpha – are they as good looking as the Tour X or the Tour S previously? No. Are they as light? No, these feel like they weigh a metric ton. Do they feel as stable? Not really. Are they still great shoes.

Yes. I will prefer my Tour X, but these are still a solid option. I believe the durability and overall performance is fantastic. To each their own, but I prefer the previous generation.

A lot of the reviews I read said fits normal but I need extra toe box room for my feet and found the sizing a little challenging. First the 9 1/2 is definitely longer than my adidas 9 1/2 and secondly the toe box narrows at the end quite a bit.

This leaves me with a situation where I would like to size down a half size but concerned the narrower toe box might cramp my toes. Otherwise these shoes are everything you want. Soft leather the Boa system seems to work well wrapping my foot comfortably and an awesome footbed for those of us who are looking for arch support and the like.

I sent them back though hoping the 9 will not cramp my toes. So this review is more about sizing and overall impressions.

Great fit. Nice and snug. Didn’t slide much compared to my spiked shoes. Only issue is after about 7 holes in 85 degree weather, the shoes started squeaking very loudly on the balls of the shoes. And loudly.

In fact it detracted from my game and friends were calling them clown shoes. I even bought different insoles thinking it was the factory ones but same issue came back. I’m returning them. Defect must be between the layers of the sole when they get humid from sweat.

BEST SHOES EVER. The comfort is actually unparalleled. I have extremely problematic feet (narrow in the back and bunions so wide in the front, neuromas, you name it). Basically going shoe shopping is a nightmare for me.

I got my usual size in wide and they are perfect, did not have a single issue or discomfort when wearing for 4+ hours. The shoes felt a little strange and stiff when I first put them on (remember they aren’t just regular sneakers) but I’m wondering if the people who have provided negative reviews even tried to play a round of golf or just tried them on once and decided that was enough to evaluate them.

Either way, I played 18 holes with them and it was the best round of golf I have ever played. The shoes stayed completely dry and kept my feet cozy the entire time. Before I switched to these shoes, I would have issues with waterlogging from normal sneakers.

Pretty sure the shoes themselves helped with my swing too as I was hitting the ball much further and more consistently than usual (again used to play with regular sneakers and not golf shoes). They are also attractive shoes & don’t look clunky or old ladyish like many golf shoes do.

My boyfriend also has these shoes and loves them.

Waited until the new Pro SL models came out this year and splurged for the Carbon BOAs. Very happy with this purchase. I’m a FootJoy loyalist, but have tried a number of different models over the years.

DNA, DNA 2. 0, MyJoys, Icons, Tour X, HyperFlex, Premier Series, Fuels, Tour Alpha, and now the Pro SL. Having only recently tried spike-less shoes, I’m blown away by the stability of the Pro SL Carbon BOA.

The comfort of the PRO SL, the stability offered by the carbon footplate, and the security provided by the BOA make me want to make this my full time shoe. I have played 2 rounds and a number of range sessions already in these shoes and not once have I thought about stability or traction during a swing.

This is my second pair of Pro SLs. They are one of the most comfortable golf shoes you will find. They have excellent grip compared to other spikeless golf shoes I’ve tried, especially in wet conditions.

I’ve worn my last pair for three seasons of once a week play and they still keep my feet dry, and have plenty of grip left. Hopefully this pair can match that. Sizing runs a little big in length, as I normally wear a M12 in other brands, but an 11.

5 was perfect in these. Width seems to be what I would expect for standard. If your a big swinger that needs traction on the tee box, and you play courses that require a lot of walking, these are the shoes for you.

I loved these shoes when I bought them. Then the button tops came off but they sent me a new pair! Then after six months the waterproofing failed. Just walking in dew and my feet were soaked. Emailed customer support and said they stand behind their product but wouldn’t fix the problem.

Pretty disappointed because the shoes were very comfortable but now are worthless without waterproof feature.

Beautiful Shoe. Wish it was a little wider up front or a wide option. If you have a normal foot this is great. If your foot is even a little wide Eccos fit a lot better. But you cant beat the looks and the dual boa lacing works wonderfully.

Hopefully they will come up with a wide option for more of their shoes in future.

Very comfortable shoe, and correct fit. The dial/wire-lace system is not entirely satisfactory – doesn’t stay tightened and difficult to loosen when tie to remove shoe. (I have other branded shoes with this system that work fine.

).

I am a Nike Air Jordan shoe fan and own several pair from the collection. These shoes don’t disappoint. They hit all the Jordan styling points but maintain originality. With a lower profile sole these shoes could be worn in a semi-casual setting.

I wear a size 9. 5 for all my Js but these run a little large. The fit is good but the toe area feels like it could be shorter. Not sure about total comfort over a full 18 holes. My favorite feature is the grip.

The triangular spike soles really grab the turf and give you stable footing. My feet felt planted from the approach and throughout my swings. The major complaint I would have is the same for all my Js.

I am not sure how long the soles will keep their blue color before turning brown. Given that they will mostly be worn on grass, oxidation is inevitable. But shoes are meant to be worn so yolo.

These shoes are great out of the box, but not very durable. I can’t see them lasting much more than a season, and I don’t even golf that much. First time I wore them the mesh tongue area got dirty, and it is impossible to clean it.

So that area has turned brownish. Some of the stitching is coming apart too. They are very comfortable and stable, however. Also, they run very small.

I’m in my late 40s and walk approx 2 rounds per week. At my age, foot pain can be an issue, but these are the most comfortable golf shoes I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned a ton from ecco to nike to adidas to FJ.

I also own a pair of the 002 LE. This option is slightly lighter weight than the 002 LE and runs a half size small, so if you order the 001, I recommend ordering a half size up. Both have aggressive tread to prevent slipping.

The shoes had great traction and were well designed. But they were too narrow for my foot. D width. And the instep/arch was too low for my foot. I put them on walked around the house and I was glad to take them off.

The 9 was the right size, but I needed a wider shoe. So, this was not a good match.

Superb golf shoes. I’ve tried MANY models of Nike, FJ, Adidas, Puma, and these Asics are the most comfortable, sturdy, and nice fitting golf shoes I’ve ever owned and I have owned a LOT of golf shoes.

I walk 18 holes three to four times per week and these golf shoes make it a much better journey. I highly recommend these shoes. I have about 10 pairs of Asics golf shoes right now.

Excellent gripping of the foot in heel area for leverage in full shots. The foam exterior of the shoe seems like it would wear similar to a contemporary (white) Nike or Footjoy shoe, but the exterior foam material doesn’t crease as much as expected, which makes it stay looking newer, longer.

Have always loved Asics sneakers. The Golf Shoes are just as great, if not better. Walked 36 in these the other day- highly recommend. Never going back to another Golf Shoe.
