20 Best Golf Push Cart For The Money (2023 Updated)

Purchased my Zip Navigator near the end of our golf season in Canada. Weather and course conditions can be a bit challenging at this time of year, Managed to get in about 10 rounds with it before the end of our season.

At first I was a bit hesitant about the purchase, but now, I’m really happy that I did. The build, and design of the unit are first class. I opted for the Zip Navigator over the Navigator AT because of it’s slightly smaller footprint.

I easily fits onto one side of my folded down back seat – clubs are in the trunk. I also got got the accessory bundle with the umbrella holder, scorecard holder, drink holder and clip – good quality and very useful.

The remote is very responsive and easy to learn how to use. There is a bit of a learning curve, so I’m a bit more vigilant about the location of bunkers and ponds on each hole. The unit is very sturdy and stable, and performed well in a variety of conditions.

Hills and undulating terrain presented no issues (remember to extend the 4th wheel out the back for increased stability). It’s easy to clean and maintain, the battery snaps into and out of the frame of the unit with ease, no loose wires or fragile connections, and the battery life for both the remote, and the main unit are exceptional.

I also appreciate the included smart phone holder. I have my golf GPS app on my phone, so it’s great to be able to mount the phone on the holder, and plug it into the USB charging port on the handle.

One minor criticism, the location of the smart phone holder makes it a bit challenging to remove some clubs from the bag without bumping into the phone. Overall, if you’re a golfer who enjoys walking, and wants to be able to do it for as long as possible, this is a worthwhile investment.

I’m 61, have two prosthetic hips and play at a moderately hilly golf course in Adelaide. Accordingly there is only so much energy you can muster during a round, and that is the beauty of the Zip Navigator.

Freed from the arduous task of pushing bag and buggy up hill and down dale during a round, the Zip allows me to divert that energy into my game. where shot judgment, club selection and execution can all be compromised through fatigue, particularly during the last 3-4 holes of a tight round, and especially so during matchplay/ pennants competition.

My cart is now fitted out with the umbrella holder and extender, the scorecard holder, drink holder, seat, sand bucket loop and wet weather cover. It’s quite the unit I must say, but everything is well-designed, well constructed and easy to access.

The remote control function is simple to use, reliable and incredibly time-saving as it allows you to send your buggy up to your ball from a good drive, or bring the buggy to you if you’ve found your errant ball that’s off the fairway.

I’ve had it now for a few months and have been pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and powerful the Navigator is, especially during the second round on the same battery charge. I’ve looked at all sorts of buggies over the years, and the Zip Navigator does the hard work of carrying the clubs, while still allowing you to walk a course with ease.

which in my experience is always the best way to get to know a course and play the game. In hindsight, I probably should have got the Quad. but I’m nevertheless very satisfied with the performance of the Zip Navigator.

There is no going back!.

This 4. 0 was a replacement for my 2. 0 model purchased in 2009. Your calculations are correct, it lasted 12 years, so I was always going to purchase this brand again. The 4. 0 is easier to push, perhaps because the tyres have a soft feel.

A range of other changes also impress: flip-style hand brake is much easier to use and holds well even on steep slopes; love the way push button release on the front wheel; adjustable height of top bag bracket allows the car to accommodate every shape of bag.

I’m not sold on the stability of the silicone bag straps. The lock mechanism seems slippery and the silicone strap on the umbrella holder is better than the old elastic, but it could do with a larger hook mechanism and also a means of securely gripping around the umbrella tube during gusty rounds.

I purchased extras: the XL drink cup holder – based on other reviews, but the supplied small cup holder does work well with my 750ml metal drink bottle; seat & padded seat cover – ❤️ it !! I’m also an advocate of the angle umbrella holder (adds height and you can shield from the sun no matter what angle it’s on.

Still have the same one I’ve been using since 2010. You won’t be disappointed by this brand.

The only reason people are leaving low reviews and 1-star is because they have not been able to acquire this product. It’s a shame that TGW allows reviews of the product that are not at all based on the product, but based on their whining because they were not able to get a cart during the shortage.

You people are not entitled to anything and should not be rating an actual product based on your experience trying to get one. Hard to believe this is the world we live in today. This is the greatest pushcart that money can buy plain and simple.

I’ve had my ClicGear for 8 years and although the front wheel is a little skewed, the cart works like it did on day one. Later revisions of the cart are even better. There is a plethora of accessories available that make life easier on the golf course.

Don’t trust the whiners who couldn’t get one. Trust someone who has used this product for 8 years, walking 18 holes 50+ times a year.

I decided at this stage of my life to not settle and get exactly what I wanted. What a great cart this is. The way the clubs are displayed in this cart makes it so easy for you to see each and every one of them when making your choice.

Returning the club to the correct place is a effortless. It rolls like a dream, it folds and unfolds with minimal effort, and the quality is excellent. I couldn’t be happier. I have played golf for 50 years and at this stage I’m buying exactly what I want.

This is exactly what I want. Furthermore, I can buy this cart from anyone but Dick’s gave me $20 off just for giving them my email address. I can use $20. There was a minor administrative error which I contacted them about.

They immediately rectified the situation to my complete satisfaction. That’s why I choose to do business with Dick’s, the customer service is consistently superb.

Unboxing: the Nitron was well packaged and easy to inbox. Assembly was intuitive and relatively easy without the instructions in hand. Opening the Nitron was a breeze. Admittedly, I had to watch the Bag Boy video to review the take down process which was also very easy.

First day: first 9 holes of the season: mounting my stand bag was relatively uneventful. The bag slipped right in. The top and bottom straps, once adjusted, were sufficient enough to keep the bag stable and straight.

My bag did not twist at all during the 9 hole round. Handle height adjustment was simple since there is only one lever. The brake was adequate although it did take me two holes to adapt to the left hand lever placement.

After that it was almost and automatic response in applying and releasing the brake. Storage is plentiful. The design of the compartment and small storage bag was impressive. Ball holder, cell phone/gps holder, and the overall space was adequate.

Scorecard holder is strong and hold the card in place during the 9 hole journey. I was impressed by the fact that you can carry 3 pencils: 1 clipped inside the lid and the other 2 flanked the cell phone (look-they are there.

) it’s the small things in life, yes? Suggested tweaks: 1) lid magnets are a bit small as my concern grew somewhat when I went to fold and store the cart. I walked away from the cart hoping the lid remained closed; 2) a brake cable for both rear wheels because the cart seemed to twist some on slopes with only one wheel locked; 3) all other Bag Boy carts have them–tee holes/holders.

I’m not sure how 3 or 6 little holes were overlooked on this design. I did not notice until my golf partner pointed out that the holes were missing. Really?; 4) bag straps, yes they work fine, but if your Bag Boy cart was assembled on a Monday or Friday you may find that the clips were installed upside down and you have to twist the straps so that the clips work as they should.

Overall: excellent push cart. My partner uses a 2009 version of the clicgear and she was impressed by the Bag Boy Nitron. For the price and availability, this can be a top contender push cart if the little are addressed by the designers at Bag Boy.

Score: 8 out of a possible 10.

The Clicgear Rovic RV1C cart is a marvel of a product truly designed to be fit for purpose. In folded condition, the footprint occupied is tiny when compared to it’s unfolded ready for use state. When operating the fold/unfold operations I felt like I was in control of a Transformer from the movies! The quality of manufacturing is evident throughout the product, it feels robust, the rear wheels are solid, chunky and have a good tread for muddy days out.

I analysed several designs from different brands around this price point before boiling it down to the key features and feedback from available reviews. For me, the big selling point was the minimal storage space needed when folded.

I particularly like the handbrake lever placed on the right side of the steering handle and the storage binnacle seems water proof, although I haven’t yet tested it in bad weather. Based on my first round using this cart, I was delighted with it’s ease of operation and use around the course and look forward to many more days of effortless bag transport.

So far I am highly satisfied and impressed with my purchase. My only niggle is that the separate wheel cover, widely available, should really be included with the price, as the umbrella and bottle holder are, but it is not a huge add-on cost to buy.

I was looking for a sub $150 push cart and stumbled across the Rovic RV2L. I wasn’t sure it was going to be a great fit after reading the initial reviews of it, but I have to admit that I was really quite pleasantly surprised after my first round out with it.

It’s only gotten better since. Starting out, I am a carry bag guy, not a cart bag loaded to the gills with everything under the sun. I typically carry 12-15 balls, 100 tees, and 14 clubs when I go play.

I have a small medical kit and a valuables pocket that includes my keys, wallet and phone. Other than that, I’m a very light travelling player. The RV2L fits my carry bag perfectly and the straps seem to pull in just the right places to lock in in place.

I will admit that I wish the straps that hold it onto the cart were a bit tighter when adjusted, but again, they work more than well enough for my needs. As I said before, I used to carry my bag for every round, but as I’ve gotten a bit older, I thought it would be nice to get the strain off my back and this was the first effort in that thought pattern.

While I could see a few minor upgrades – a front wheel that turns and a plastic bin instead of the mesh bag at the handle are the first two that come to mind – I think in the bang for the buck deal range, the RV2L is a stellar deal.

It rolls nicely over most terrain, the brake is solid and it folds up SO small. Overall, I can say for the $150 and under range, this is a great Clicgear cart.

This a nice lightweight bag which works well on either a riding or push cart. There is plenty of storage space, including a cooler pocket, and has all the amenities of similar, more expensive bags. There are, however, a couple of flaws.

If you have too many items in the pockets, especially the front cooler and ball pockets, it will compress the sides of the bags into the space for the clubs and cause some issues with the grips of the clubs getting “trapped” when trying to remove, especially larger putter grips in the putter well.

Additionally, the material protecting the club openings has worn out in certain locations after about 6 months, requiring some minor repairs to protect graphite shafts.

The golf bag is fairly light and easy to handle and is a nice size, not too big or too small. The slots for clubs and putter are easy to use. Quality appears good so far. It can stand by itself as long as the clubs are balanced in the bag.

Be sure to take the cardboard out of the larger zippered storage pockets, especially when searching for the rain hood. Only thing that I’d change is that I’d like to valuables pocket to be a tad bit deeper and bigger.

The bag was received very promptly and well packaged.

1. Bag twists when secured to cart with strap. 2. Club dividers catch grips of clubs when removing. You must move other club shafts around to free up the club you want. 3. The putter well is damaging my custom putters black shaft by removing the finish.

So far after a few months of use all zippers work and the pockets are plentiful! Cooler pocket is nice but I use that for balls because most other pockets were too small.

Bought this a month ago and it’s great. It keeps the seat warm in the winter and it will keep it cool in the summer as you flip it. Wearing a skort in the summer the seat burns my legs,in the winter they freeze my legs.

But not anymore. Love this.

It’s colorful, made of good material. I recommend it, but not for Yamaha golf carts. It’s about 2 inches shy of being a good fit around the arm rests. My wife had to cut it at the opening for the passenger-side armrest and tuck the flappy cut portion under the seat.

Otherwise, everything else, for the most part, fits.

I was happy with my previous bag until a squirrel damaged it when stealing my snack nuts (grrr!) so I wanted a similar style. I found it in this bag. Overall, I’m very pleased with it. The bag is narrow side-to-side so it fits nicely on a cart with my partners’ bags yet the side pockets are roomy and should accommodate extra clothing or sandals for the 19th hole.

However, the club pockets (full-length dividers was a must for me) are smallish so with club covers on all my clubs it’s hard to see the open space to return a club to. The single back club space could easily be divided into two for a ball retriever or such.

The insulated pocket is smartly located higher on the bag so it is more protected from the sun. I find the straps on the back of the bag to be awkward for attaching the bag to a cart. They are dependent on the cart brand and basket style.

Fortunately, there is a pass-through for the standard cart strap that doesn’t block access to any pockets. The color is great, black and navy shouldn’t be the standard, especially for a woman’s bag. So far this seems to be a very good quality bag in line with the price of other you-get-what-you-pay-for bags.

American made, yay! The shipment tracking is the best I’ve seen, one click within the email gives all the information needed. I definitely recommend this bag and will shop Carl’s Golfland in the future.

I bought this Sun Mountain Diva golf bag for my wife. Never paid too much attention to this company. I stayed with the big golf names. Did a lot of research online. This bag seemed like the best option.

Ordered from Carl’s on Thursday had the bag on Saturday. When others are struggling to get product, Carls had a good selection. Great service. When we received the bag and looked it over we were both very impressed with the great quality of the material and workmanship of the product.

This bag has more than enough storage, Fourteen full length dividers and enough handles to lift this light weight cart bag. We had it on the golf course a few times before the northeast cold weather gets here.

She is extremely pleases with this bag. Made in Montana, what could be better. The only improvement I would make is to put a tee holder on the outside of the bag. I have had numerous bags since the 70’s, different companies.

My next bag will be a Sun Mountain bag.

Had since the early 90s, The first 3-4 yrs was pampered and then moved from shed to the covered potting area for 10-12 yrs, did 9 at the horse barn. It’s beginning to get a little rust but some oil or rust stop, it will be around at least another 10-15 yrs.

However, during the summer it stays in the garden much of the time. Everything still works, gate comes off, folds, just add a spritz if WD40 occasionally. Because I have lots of wet, heavy clay to sit in and its 25-28 yrs and has been heavily used – the legs could be replaced, on,y part with lots of rust.

I’d like to see them rubber dip the legs to help with this. I could have done this myself as the legs come off but just never got around to it. Those who are older remember the “round tuit disks” from the 70s that folks gave us procrastinators as a joke.

The other issue which is what bought me to the site is I desperately need new tires or tubes (wheels are great) but can’t keep the tires pumped up now. A friend said they are dry rotted – can’t image why.

The only other real rust is a spot on the handle which is weird and not having it in front of me, a spot or two elsewhere. If they are still making them the same and with the same thickness of metal as when I bought this one and I sure hope they are for new buyer’a sake – this is money well spent.

It’s pretty light considering what it handles, easy to maneuver and very stable-no tipping over sideways like a wheelbarrow. I have moved huge Concrete and Terra-cotta pots, concrete statues, tools, lumber, rocks, lots of bags of potting soil, lime, seed, buckets of granite dust, more hay bales, bags of feed and bagged shavings, fresh pine sawdust, leaf mold, horse, goat and bunny manure, dirt, and mulch than I care to think about.

It did about 9 years at the barn cleaning stalls which meant sitting with manure/urine soaked shavings and it’s still in great condition. As they say about Timex watches, my cart takes a licking and keeps on ticking!.

I purchased the storage net for my new ROVIC push cart. I’m so glad I did. I love having the net to throw an extra towel in or quick storage when I take my jacket off and then decide I need to put it back on.

It’s great for storing club head covers. No more trying to stuff them in my golf bag.

This mesh storage is the answer I’ve been looking for, and at a great price. Now that I’m playing more off season golf, that means rain gear, extra jacket, even gloves and a wool hat. All things that I can’t fit directly into my golf bag.

This mesh storage net is huge, with room for it all. And when it’s not full, the straps cinch it up nice and taught, not saggy. Recommend this for sure.

I love this storage. I put all my head covers of my club when I play golf and other stuff. It save my stuff of not losing them while I have rounds. One of a woman I played with took a photo of my clickgear push cart and the clickgear mesh storage she wanna buy one for herself.

I love this storage I got a lot of compliments. Diffinately I want to refer this storage to a friend.

Purchased due to it being on sale, and being handy / less bending, to use when filling divots rather than the usual buckets. Is good as long as the sand used for filling is relatively clean and dry. Damp or big clumped sand can tend to block in the spout.

And similar when filling, the screw end cap needs to be brushed to allow closure, where again wet or damp sand tends to stick. But anything that means more divots are repaired is a win.

Fits securely to my Clickgear buggy with supplied attachments and is easy to fill via the screw base. The pouring lid is sturdy and effective. High quality construction and practical design for the intended purpose.

This is the perfect bag for me. I almost never golf without a cart, but I do walk to the driving range and putting green. I wanted a stand bag but only with a single strap. That really limited my choices.

I found this bag online and took a chance. I am really happy with it. It has lots of pockets, the stand legs deploy easily. The individual club pockets allow you to easily remove and restore clubs. The single strap stores in a pocket so it is out of the way when you don’t need it.

It is light weight but so far has proven to be sturdy. I highly recommend this bag and I would definitely buy it again.

Everything from golfbox has been delivered accordingly. However, the accessory from Clicgear has a very poor elastic band to keep the umbrella secure. However, it does not work and is poorly designed by Clicgear.

However, I need this product and have to have it to be able to move the umbrella around. Works great for that.

It works but I’m skeptical how well the bolt will stand up to sideway stress of windstorm. The holder is plastic and even with the elastic hold-down strap, the umbrella moves around because of the wind in the tube.

I think the tube should be made out either a thicker plastic or a light aluminum material. Or have a thicker base to house the bolt. It just seems like with a heavy wind, the holder would have a tendency to snap the bolt.

I’d be willing to pay up to $20 for a modified version.

I bought this Ping Pioneer 191 cart bag after good reviews but am disappointed with it. It is just what it says a cart bag and no more. Works well when vertical on a cart. However it is not suitable for use on my MGI Zip Navigator trolley as it slants too much making the driver and woods difficult to take out and put back in.

The body of the back lacks a solid carcass making the sides flimsy and when it stands up, it is not sturdy. Hence placing it at an angle on the MGI trolley causes the sides of the bag to collapse thereby causing difficulty in removing and putting my clubs back into the bag especially those on the sides of the bag.

The larger putter well on top of the bag also collapses due to the weight of the front of the bag which then narrows its opening. The space for the strap that goes through the front of the bag is not well positioned and the straps from either the cart or trolley is at an angle which will fray the sides of the bag in due course.

The compartments are sufficient and spacious with a large cooler space in front for cold drinks. Some are magnetic making them easier to open and close. Colour combination is nice for looks. There are better bags to choose from for the price I paid.

I recently purchased a DLX cart bag on March 28th 2022 it was shipped out of the Ping HQ in Arizona. It was shipped out on March 30th. Upon arrival the box was torn up and it’s structural integrity was comprised.

Nevertheless I checked the bag and it seemed okay no broken zippers and non-noticeable scuff – I would have to do since I was excited for the bag. Earlier this month I offloaded the bag for my early morning round of golf, I put the shoulder strap on and was walking from my parking space to the club house when the strap snapped.

It just out of the blue came off and dropped. I called your customer service line (spoke to Mark -very helpful)and they informed me to send an email and provide the photos. Haven’t heard from anyone as of yet.

I will include the photos of the compromised strap, as well as the delivery box. I hope to hear from Ping soon. It’s a shame up to this experience the bay has been wonders, the cooler pocket is a great addition.

The shoe bags are great to store shoes in after changing into slippers after a round. The bag itself always gets compliment. And I can definitely say it was worth the investment. I only gave it a 3 star because of my recent experience and the fact you would never thing a BRAND NEW bag would fall apart so easily with little to no use.

I’ve owned my DLX bag for several months now & while it is heavy, I like most don’t carry it too far. I do have an issue with the putter pocket, see the attached pictures for details. The issue is the red protector has worn my Ping Putter grip on one side.

This was raised with Ping Canada (Shane), at first they said it was just normal wear & tear on the grip. I was not satisfied with this & asked that it be forwarded to Ping in Arizona for review, which it was & they came back with instructions to replace the grip & bag, The grip is being forwarded to Golf Town in Ottawa to be installed.

As for the bag being replaced, Ping Canada is currently out of stock. My concern is that without a change in the putter pocket, this problem will come back in due course. I’m surprised after reading all the reviews that this has not been raised before.

I’m hopeful that Ping USA & Canada will come up with something to eliminate the problem, as this is my 5th set of Ping Clubs & may 3rd Ping Bag. I love the bag, but something needs to be done to correct it.

I’ve nt had any other issues with the bag, so far.
