Golf balls for fast swing speed are designed to help golfers achieve greater distances with their shots. The dimples on the ball help to create a more aerodynamic flight, which in turn results in more distance.
Whether off the tee or around the greens, the new Soft Feel lives up to its namesake. With it, youll experience a solid yet comfortable impact on every swing, giving you more confidence as you address each shot.
FastLayer Core With a soft center that gradually transitions to a firm outer edge, the FastLayer Core gives Soft Feel Brite incredible softness and great distance off the tee. 338 Speed Dimple Pattern To get more distance overall and better performance in the wind, Speed Dimples reduce drag at launch and increase lift during descent.
Soft, Thin Cover Provides more greenside spin and softer feel on all pitches, chips and putts.
TaylorMade Distance+ Golf Balls offer high-velocity performance for distance on all shots. Combining a REACT Speed Core and high-speed, low-drag aerodynamics, golfers will experience a golf ball designed for speed.
Features Designed for Speed Distance+ offers high-velocity performance for distance on all shots. Combining a REACT Speed Core and high-speed, low-drag aerodynamics, golfers will experience a golf ball designed for speed Soft Feel & Distance Distance+ provides ultra-soft feel with a two-piece construction and 77 compression, designed to maximize your ball speed.
New Plus Alignment Aid These two fundamentals will help you drain more putts. 1) Make sure you are aimed at your line. 2) Roll the ball on that intended line. The new Plus Alignment Aid helps you be better at both.
Aerodynamic Dimple Pattern A 342 aerodynamic dimple pattern is designed to reduce drag and promote fast ball speeds off the tee. Ionomer Cover A soft ionomer cover increases greenside feel, but also achieves improved scuff resistance, shear resistance and overall durability.
REACTIV REACTIV is a smart Urethane that acts as an impact modifier‘ to deliver a shock absorbing cover on slow impact shots for more spin and control (wedge – and high resilience on high impact shots for more power and distance (drive.
The cover reacts differently depending on the force of the impact. Gradational Core Added distance and forgiveness comes from the Gradational Compression core. Higher initial ball speed and lower side spin from the Gradational Compression core help give you an advantage on the course.
Dual Dimple Extra distance and enhanced aerodynamics are a result of the Dual Dimple technology. The added distance comes from a more efficient ball trajectory thanks to less drag when the ball is in flight.
Seamless Cover Consistent flight and performance are a result of the proprietary Seamless Cover Technology. The perfect performance and aerodynamic balance comes from a manufacturing processes that creates a perfectly balanced dimple pattern.
When you want a ball that can do it all, from explosive distance off the tee to impressive carry and confidence around the green, you want Wilson Chaos golf balls. Built around a highly resilient core that offers efficient energy return, Chaos balls jump off the club face and generate maximum velocity and distance for long drives.
The ionomer cover features a 400-dimple pattern for improved airflow and enhanced trajectory and has a soft feel calming play around the green. Easy to drive, easy to chip, easy to put and easy to love, highly versatile Wilson Chaos golf balls might be the only ball you need.
VERO X1 features unprecedented accuracy for scoring from the fairway instead of the rough. This is the result of an oversize core and unique formulation along with a dense metal-infused mantle, leading to enhanced perimeter weighting.
The result of the OnCore Vero X1 is increased Moment of Inertia (MOI) of the ball, which reduces side spin and achieves low spin off the driver to promote great distance with accuracy.
I’ve used OnCore Golf balls before and decided to try these babies out. Wow it’s all I am able to say. Very great distance and feel and much better price than Titleist Pro. Will be rocking these from now on.
The OnCore Avant 55’s are the best balls for my game that I’ve ever played. I’m 70 years old, with around a 21-22 handicap. They sound quieter than anything I’ve ever hit, feel softer, fly straighter, and go a little longer.
They seem to give me more control around the green. When I let friends try them, they get hooked too.
The new e6 from Bridgestone is designed for the golfer who prefers a softer feel to their ball. The e6 Soft offers accuracy and distance gains on longer strokes and optimised greenside control with a superior feel for an enhanced short game.
The e6 Soft is a high-performance golf ball that has been designed to create a lower spin rate on longer shots; the lower spin rate keeps the ball on a straighter flight path and promotes more run out on the fairways.
Great ball for price. Spin rates are a bit lower which can help if that’s what you’re looking for. Ball is extremely soft which takes getting used to if you’re not expecting it. Great ball if you’re looking to keep an easy swing while keeping some of the distance.
Haven’t played in the cold with it yet but will likely be my go-to in late fall.
The Titleist Velocity golf ball is designed with extremely low spin to maximise distance on every shot in the bag. A new higher speed LSX core produces faster speed and this translates to deep downrange distance for your game.
Designed to fly higher, new performance aerodynamics optimise flight for more carry distance. The new Velocity is designed for longer distance and higher flight for greater stoppability into the green and is suitable for golfers of many abilities.
These balls are AMAZING. Increased my driver distance by at least 25 yards. No wonder they are sold out. Playing on Tuesday. Hope to find some someplace before then. I had ONE and never tried them before.
This spring I have got some Bridgestone new Tour B line balls. I found them really good for my game. However, they are expensive. The much cheaper Bridgestone Extra Soft Golf Balls serve extremely well, still provides great distance and good control.
I also found that the durability of these balls is outstanding.
Now in its fifth generation, the Q-STAR from Srixon provides exceptional performance from tee to green. Enhanced with the FastLayer Core and new Spin Skin with SeRM, the new Q-STAR offers outstanding distance performance while maintaining excellent greenside spin.
FastLayer Core Starts soft in the center and gradually becomes firm around its outer edge, the new FastLayer Core delivers exceptional feel and ball speed for maximum distance. New Spin Skin with SeRM A coating with flexible molecular bonds that digs deep into wedge and iron grooves, new Spin Skin with SeRM maximizes spin for more control and stopping power.
338 Speed Dimple Pattern Less drag and more lift boosts overall distance and accuracy, even in the toughest wind conditions.
My wife stumbled upon these balls with a sample pack at a golf tournament and she has played then ever since. I have hit them a few time and they do have a very soft feel to them once again my wife LOVES these balls and will not play anything else.
I know all you guys are thinking, BUT does that mean this is a ladies ball, no they just feel a little to soft for me. If your swing speed is over 105 mph you may not care for these balls if it’s under a 100 mph my bet is you will love them.
By the way my wife plays to a 14 handicap so I trust her opinion on these balls.
Ultra is known as the original distance golf ball. The new Ultra 500 Straight ball has a high energy core and a low friction cover that work together to produce low driver spin and hook reduction by 3-4 yards.
Features Ultra is known as the original distance ball Ultra long distance through an advanced 2-piece construction Ultra durable cover designed to reduce hooks and slices.
I’ve used the Wilson 500 for years, always a good feel off my clubs. I can tell when I make solid impact and have control over the ball. The vis yellow is nice on longer rough areas. love the quality and the price.
I am 54 years old and a high handicap, weekend golfer. My coworker golf partners make fun of my “cheap golf balls, but you know what, last week I had the best score of our foursome! And I usually out drive them.
And, when I hit out of bounds, I don’t hold up play searching for my expensive ball. You’ll hear comments how these balls don’t have the ” feel” around the green. But I see other guys “skulling, and making poor chip shots with their premium balls.
So, unless you are a low handicap golfer, that can truly take advantage of specialized premium golf balls, I highly recommend these.
The new Bridgestone e12 CONTACT is straight distance you can see! The true game-changer is a new CONTACT Force dimple, which features a unique structure with a raised area in the center and an outer portion that slows horizontal rotation during flight.
The raised area allows for 38% more contact with the clubface at impact than traditional dimples, yielding a much more efficient transfer of energy and improved core activation. The result is faster ball speed and straight distance with every club in the bag.
Available in white, matte green, matte red, and matte yellow colors.
The Tour Velocity has been engineered for Tour-level distance performance. It has a high energy core to give you more distance with a hardcover material for better energy transfer to increase ball speed performance.
The ball has a 70 compression core to give a soft feel, plus has advanced aerodynamic dimples to get every last yard from your swing.
I recently came across this ball on the Wilson website, and decided to try a box, as I am always losing balls when I play (20+hdcp), even after playing for 15 years, as I hate shelling out $20+ for a dozen, lose a few, and then that dozen ends up with you buying another dozen.
Played yesterday at a course I’d been known to lose more than a few. Teed up the Tour Accuracy on the first hole, par 4-396 yd. and gave it a rip, if you can call an 80 swing speed a rip. Nice feel off the driver-Callaway Diablo Octane-reg.
shaft, made a nice click and down the fairway it went, further than my playing partners Srixon Soft Feel by about 10 yards. I’ll take it!! My next shot went right of the green about 10 yards, left me a blind chip-could see the top half of the flag, but not the green surface.
60 degree to the rescue. Up and over the mound between me and the green, and my partner said it hopped twice, checked up hard on the second hop, and rolled out for a 10 footer, which I missed a little right, and tapped for par.
Nice soft feel when putting , and after a few holes I could tell if I hit it good for distance when putting. Wasn’t any different than the Callaway Hex Diablo I’ve been playing-for which I was ball fitted.
Couldn’t believe the ball checked on the second hop !! Welll, the rest of the round went pretty much that way, with an occasional struggle hole, or two, or three. Thats why I’m still a twenty+ after all these years, but I gotta say I was really impressed with this ball and its nice manners around the green.
If your looking for distance, this is a great ball, even on mishits, I got some great distance, and felt good off of every club in the bag. The real kicker is I didn’t lose one ball, and with 15 in the box, $9.
96 online price a WalMart, what could be better. Going to play these until it gets cooler, and then I’ll play the box of Tour Accuracy Feels that I also bought. This is a great ball at an unbelievable price, and I’ll buy more if I lose these.
The main reason for my purchase was price, I found these balls to be a good product at a fair price compared to other tour balls. I have only used these balls once but have found them to have a fim feel.
You need to have a fast 80 mph plus swing to make the ball go a reasonably long way with good control around the greens. I much rather prefer a.
NEW FastLayer DG Core A newly formulated core starts soft in the center and dramatically becomes firm around its edge, giving high-speed players exceptional feel and added approach shot spin. NEW Spin Skin+ A durable coating, new Spin Skin+ digs deep into Wedge and Iron grooves, maximizing spin for better control and stopping power.
338 Speed Dimple Pattern Less drag and more lift boosts overall distance and straighter flight, even in the toughest wind conditions.
I’ve been looking for a new winter ball, and based on the good reviews, decided to use my reward points to pick up a couple of boxes of these at a discount. I’ve played regular Q-Star Tours before and thought they weren’t bad, just not great.
The divide concept really makes for a different experience. The contrast is jarring, but it seems to help me focus on a precise strike, especially on the putting green. It took a few holes to get used to it, but before the round was over I had hit enough better-than-usual drives, approaches, and putts that I was taking notice.
I took a sleeve out mid-week on a tough golfing day — 45 deg. , wet, and windy — and proceeded to shoot a 4-over-par 76, just one over my personal best for that challenging, 6,800-yd course. I’m impressed.
For this 7 hcp with 95 mph clubhead speed, these were long off the driver and irons, moderately spinny off the wedges, and soft off the putter. The matte finish seemed to hold up well, and one that took a hard bounce off a cart path only came up with tiny blemishes.
When I blocked one off the tee, I was able to find it in the leaves thanks to the bright colors, which probably saved me one stroke at least. Definitely recommend giving these a try if you like a softer ball like the Chrome Soft or TM Tour Response.
The Z star ball feels great. Like them better than the Pro v1. I’m a mid to fast player. The ball travels a nice distance and I like the visuals of the divide flying in the air. They feel fantastic off the wedges as well.
I tried the XV but I really enjoy the feel and sound of a softer ball. Even though the XV supposedly should travel father I did not see a difference in distance between the two just enjoyed the feel of the z star over the XV.
Love the divide for putting as well. Even if I didn’t buy the divide ball I would opt for the traditional z star. Firm believer in the Z Star ball all around.
I am always up to try new stuff and this ball caught my eye, obviously. I tired them out because I though it would be interesting to see the spin of shots with this ball. It did not disappoint in that regard.
The Good: It was fun hitting it with a driver to see if I could keep the spin end-over end and eliminate the side spin. It was also neat around the green to see the ball hit and check. It is a very good alignment feature when putting as well.
In regards to performance, this ball will definitely add to your distance. The increase in distance on driver shots as well as iron shots was noticeable over more premium balls. If you need more length off the tee, these are worth a try.
I also liked the feel of these balls putting. The Not So Good: What you gain in distance you lose in spin around the green. This is the only reason I would not use them for competitive play. I like a ball that provides good green side spin on short chip shots and you will not get that out of this ball.
Overall thoughts: They are cheap enough to try and they are fun to play with for golfers of all skill levels. If you need more distance off the tee or having trouble putting, I would recommend giving them a try.
Great golf balls. I bought them for my wife and she has fallen in love with these balls. She loves the peach color and she has said they feel better when she hits them vs. the cheap balls she was using.
She also reallyikes the matte finish to these balls.
You don’t have to swing as fast as a tour pro to get the benefits associated with playing a tour ball. Srixon have calibrated their all-new Q-STAR TOUR to fit your moderate swing speed. It has the distance you need to get ahead of your competition and greenside spin to attack tough pins.
It’s also soft thanks to lower compression, so you don’t need the swing of a titan to make it work.
Volvik S3 Golf BallsFeatures include a patented VU-X urethane cover provides soft feel for shots played on and around the green. Created for maximum distance for players with swing speeds 95-105 mph.
Three-piece construction with an oversized BISMUTH core for optimized performance. Low spin rates off a driver create enhanced distance. Designed for mid trajectory on full shots and maximum spin around the greens.
336 dimple design. Volvik compression rating of 85. Available in 12-ball pack.
Tour Technology. Soft Feel. The new Project (a) features a three-layer design that incorporates a new Dual-Distance core and a new 322LDP seamless dimple pattern, which combines to increase driver and long iron distance while maintaining excellent greenside control and feel.
New 322 Dimple Seamless Cover The Project (a) now uses the same 322 dimple pattern as the hottest Tour ball in golf—the TP5 & TP5x golf balls—resulting in superior distance through a more aerodynamic dimple pattern.
Less drag = more speed = more distance. Dual-Distance Core The new Project (a)’s dual core design is comprised of a larger, softer-inner core, which scrubs off unwanted spin while providing great feel.
The stiffer outer core allows for increased rebound and velocity. In addition to reducing driver and long iron spin, the stiffer outer core also aids in pinching the soft cast urethane cover between the clubface, creating more greenside spin.
The TM Project (a) balls are great for us old guys and slower swingers. It gets the best distance I have ever had from a 3 piece urethane cover ball. It has a very high spin rate for approach shots and wedges, which even slower swingers like myself can get the ball to check up quickly with very little rollout.
Some of my buddies use 2 piece distance balls with a surly/ionomer cover. The have a lot of balls hit and run off the green. This ball is a stoke saver. I have also tried a few sleeves of the new TM Tour Response balls, which replaced the Project (a)s a year or two ago.
They dont have the driver and fairway wood distance of the Project (a), and they really dont stop on the green any better either. In fact, I cant think of any way they are better that the Project (a) balls.
Ha guys, I am a pretty good player. 75, 76 player, always played nothing but tour level balls. Decided to give a try, I am now 65 need a good distance ball but did not want to give up short iron and green side performance, found it.
Workable, great ball Was getting for $23. 00 went up a little $ 28. 00. not only great ball great price.
A faster tour ball with incredible performance in the wind due to Mizunos drag reducing C-Dimple. Soft and responsive around the greens with a 4 piece construction and high traction urethane cover. Low driver spin for downward attack angles.
The Chicago Cubs logo is officially licensed by Team Golf. The New Titleist Pro V1 golf ball is designed to deliver longer distance, even more greenside spin and control and softer feel. Featuring new aerodynamic, cover, casing layer and core technologies, these dramatic performance improvements are the result of rigorous development work by Titleist Golf Ball R&D.
Total performance to help all golfers shoot lower scores. The greatest combination of speed, spin, and feel in the game. Pro V1 golf balls feature an improved core, faster high flex casing, softer urethane cover, and new aerodynamics, delivering unparalleled performance.
The quality of the Titleist ball is unmatched. The Pro V1x gives me the harder feel I prefer. The personalization options are a bonus. PGA Superstore makes the ordering process easy and fool proof. This is not my first order and won’t be my last.
The golf balls are great but the personalization was so small and light colored that it is difficult to even see. Very disappointed This was a gift for my grandson (high school senior) for district, regional and state tournaments.
Never really believed the ball made THAT much difference but boy was I wrong! I’ve tested this with the Pro-V and it simply doesn’t come off the club like the X does. Then compared to others, Callaway, Volvik, Wilson, and the all fell short; FOR ME.
In summary, find the ball for YOU. Go get fitted just like you do your clubs.
It is designed to produce low driver and long iron spin for incredible straight distance. The advance mantle and cover work in unison to provide incredible approach and greenside performance. Engineered for straight distance.
The construction of the E6 is combined with the new delta dimple.
The Callaway Chrome Soft X is the modern Tour Ball, and Callaway has re-engineered every aspect of the design to deliver maximum distance for the elite player. Its the fastest, most advanced ball Callaway has ever made, and it provides the exceptional feel and outstanding spin control you expect.
The remarkable distance starts with Callaway’s new high speed core and Dual Mantle system. The inner core in Chrome Soft X is significantly larger and generates high ball speeds, particularly off the driver and especially with higher swing speeds.
This solid core design is enclosed by the Dual Mantle, which works with the core to efficiently maximize compression energy at impact. The Soft Inner Mantle and a highly resilient Firm Outer Mantle work together to generate increased ball speed off the club face.
This innovative system is specifically created to increase total distance. More speed also comes from the new, thinner Tour Urethane Cover, which is extremely durable and resilient. This thinner cover helps to optimize spin for each club in the bag, promoting lower spin off longer shots, outstanding control on approach and short game shots, and excellent feel off your irons and wedges.
A new aerodynamic pattern completes the performance package, reducing drag to provide even longer distance and consistent trajectory.
Including the type of golf clubs you are using, the type of golf balls you are using, your swing speed, and the condition of the golf course. However, if you are looking for a golf ball that will help you to achieve a fast swing speed, then it is worth considering a ball that is designed for distance, such as the Titleist Pro V1.
