A golf ball for 70 mph swing speed will have a compression rating of approximately 80. This means that the ball will be quite firm, and will not compress very much when hit. This will result in a golf ball that will travel a good distance, but will not have a lot of spin on it.

My wife stumbled upon these balls with a sample pack at a golf tournament and she has played then ever since. I have hit them a few time and they do have a very soft feel to them once again my wife LOVES these balls and will not play anything else.
I know all you guys are thinking, BUT does that mean this is a ladies ball, no they just feel a little to soft for me. If your swing speed is over 105 mph you may not care for these balls if it’s under a 100 mph my bet is you will love them.
By the way my wife plays to a 14 handicap so I trust her opinion on these balls.

I recently came across this ball on the Wilson website, and decided to try a box, as I am always losing balls when I play (20+hdcp), even after playing for 15 years, as I hate shelling out $20+ for a dozen, lose a few, and then that dozen ends up with you buying another dozen.
Played yesterday at a course I’d been known to lose more than a few. Teed up the Tour Accuracy on the first hole, par 4-396 yd. and gave it a rip, if you can call an 80 swing speed a rip. Nice feel off the driver-Callaway Diablo Octane-reg.
shaft, made a nice click and down the fairway it went, further than my playing partners Srixon Soft Feel by about 10 yards. I’ll take it!! My next shot went right of the green about 10 yards, left me a blind chip-could see the top half of the flag, but not the green surface.
60 degree to the rescue. Up and over the mound between me and the green, and my partner said it hopped twice, checked up hard on the second hop, and rolled out for a 10 footer, which I missed a little right, and tapped for par.
Nice soft feel when putting , and after a few holes I could tell if I hit it good for distance when putting. Wasn’t any different than the Callaway Hex Diablo I’ve been playing-for which I was ball fitted.
Couldn’t believe the ball checked on the second hop !! Welll, the rest of the round went pretty much that way, with an occasional struggle hole, or two, or three. Thats why I’m still a twenty+ after all these years, but I gotta say I was really impressed with this ball and its nice manners around the green.
If your looking for distance, this is a great ball, even on mishits, I got some great distance, and felt good off of every club in the bag. The real kicker is I didn’t lose one ball, and with 15 in the box, $9.
96 online price a WalMart, what could be better. Going to play these until it gets cooler, and then I’ll play the box of Tour Accuracy Feels that I also bought. This is a great ball at an unbelievable price, and I’ll buy more if I lose these.
The main reason for my purchase was price, I found these balls to be a good product at a fair price compared to other tour balls. I have only used these balls once but have found them to have a fim feel.
You need to have a fast 80 mph plus swing to make the ball go a reasonably long way with good control around the greens. I much rather prefer a.

Aerodynamic Dimple Pattern A 342 aerodynamic dimple pattern is designed to reduce drag and promote fast ball speeds off the tee. Ionomer Cover A soft ionomer cover increases greenside feel, but also achieves improved scuff resistance, shear resistance and overall durability.
I usually play balls that are higher compression than the Tour Response. My go to balls are TP5 with around 87 compression and Pro V1 with around 89 compression. Usually I buy TP5’s only for when my round actually matters, tournament play and wagered matches with buddies but will play Pro V1’s if they are given to me with no issues and both balls work great for me.
My swing speed is around 110-115. Maybe I just have confidence in these balls and so it makes me swing more freely, but I love them. I purchased a box of these Tour Response Stripe’s just on a whim because I thought they’d be fun to use and test them while putting.
They basically said hold my beer to me as I proceeded to shoot the lowest score I’ve shot this year. Granted, the season is still very early on and who knows how things will change when it warms up a bit, but with how these balls have lasted me, I’ll likely still have them when it gets to that point.
I’ve already played about 4 rounds since getting these and have only gone through a single sleeve. 1 ball was lost because of me hitting a terrible tee shot into the water and the other 2 were added to the practice bin after I cut them up with my wedge over the course of about 2 rounds each.
Where I was concerned was the low compression of these balls (around 70). They’re lower than even Callaway’s Chrome Soft and so I thought I’d lost a bunch of distance. Surprisingly, I didn’t lose nearly as much as I thought I would (only around 5-10 yards).
This was off the tee but I did actually notice a little bit of a bump with mid to long irons compared to the other premium balls that I use and I had great spin around the greens and under 100 yards out.
In conclusion, these will more than likely be making it in to my bag much more as the year progresses and have a high possibility of becoming my every day gamer ball replacing the Kirkland V2. 0’s (92 compression) I usually play.
Get you a sleeve/box of these ASAP, whether you’re a high swing speed or low swing speed player I promise you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the outcome.
Bought a dozen of the new TaylorMade Tour Response Striped golf balls just to give them a try on the course. I bought the golf balls for the alignment feature and wasn’t expecting any real improvement in my game.
I went to my usual golf course in Sun City Summerlin Las Vegas “Palm Valley”, a course I know very well. I teed up on the first hole which is a par five 512-yard hole. WOW WEE – On my very first drive I hit the golf ball an extra 60 yards straight down the fairway.
My next hit with my 5 wood and I was just 40 yards from the green. I chipped onto the green and rolled within 8 feet of the hole for my birdy putt. I picked up my new TaylorMade Tour Response Striped golf ball, cleaned the ball and set my putting alignment with the alignment feature of this new ball.
A perfect hit, a perfect roll and my first birdy for my round today. OK – just beginners’ luck – Right? WRONG! I continued to hit this ball farther than any golf ball I have ever used for the next 17 holes! I came home that day and ordered 4 more dozen TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls.
Mixed it up this time with the striped, yellow and white balls. Since then and a dozen games of golf later these new TaylorMade Tour Response golf balls have changed my game! They are now the only ball that I care in my bag! I am over 70 years old, and I do not have the swing speed I did form years past so having this new technology in my golf game makes me feel 20 years younger! Makes me think seriously about trying out some of the new TaylorMade clubs and see just how much better I can get with the technologies that are now available to all of us!.
The short answer is this is a very good ball, and I am impressed. I was drawn to this ball because I have lost a bit of swing speed at 65 with a 5 HCP from 6000 yards and am searching for a new ball.
Just cannot compress the ProV anymore. I am trying out all the balls on the market in the 70 to 75 compression range with a three layer construction. Right now, this Tour Response is in a head to head competition with one other ball, having eliminated 4 other balls.
I go out on the course alone and hit several balls in a variety of conditions. Tee, 150, 125, pin side wedge and of course fairway clubs. It is easy to see the difference quickly. When 3 balls of brand X are six yards short of brand Y you can eliminate fast.
Then once I get two brands, I like I play at least two rounds with them. Sometimes I play 9 holes with one and 9 holes with a second ball. There are a bunch of new balls in my shag bag, but not these Tour Response.
I find these to be about 2 – 3 yards farther than the ball they are competing with mostly because the competition ball is stopping instantly on the greens and these seem to release with a bit more forward motion.
And of course, there are pros and cons to that situation based on the greens being firm or soft, wet or dry and so on. Softness off the club face is very good. Trajectory for me is high and I am a lower ball striker so that is a plus.
Right now, I am undecided and going to keep playing these for a few more rounds. If showed up on the first tee with only a few of these in hand I would not be disappointed and be pleased to play them.
They are better than nine other balls in this compression range. Well done Taylor Made.
The new TOUR B has the proprietary REACTIVE iQ which is a SMART cover technology that reacts to the force of impact–delivering more distance and more control. REACTIVE iQ rebounds quickly on tee shots delivering explosive velocity and increased distance.
The REACTIVE iQ also allows it to stay on the face longer on approach shots providing more spin and a soft feel around the green.
VERO X1 features unprecedented accuracy for scoring from the fairway instead of the rough. This is the result of an oversize core and unique formulation along with a dense metal-infused mantle, leading to enhanced perimeter weighting.
The result of the OnCore Vero X1 is increased Moment of Inertia (MOI) of the ball, which reduces side spin and achieves low spin off the driver to promote great distance with accuracy.
SUPER REACTIVE TITANIUM CORE with high-energy performance delivers ultimate distance. IONOMER COVER ensures high initial velocity and flight Superior launch performance with more loft for longer flight Soft feel and incredible accuracy Greenside control.
The Callaway Chrome Soft X is the modern Tour Ball, and Callaway has re-engineered every aspect of the design to deliver maximum distance for the elite player. Its the fastest, most advanced ball Callaway has ever made, and it provides the exceptional feel and outstanding spin control you expect.
The remarkable distance starts with Callaway’s new high speed core and Dual Mantle system. The inner core in Chrome Soft X is significantly larger and generates high ball speeds, particularly off the driver and especially with higher swing speeds.
This solid core design is enclosed by the Dual Mantle, which works with the core to efficiently maximize compression energy at impact. The Soft Inner Mantle and a highly resilient Firm Outer Mantle work together to generate increased ball speed off the club face.
This innovative system is specifically created to increase total distance. More speed also comes from the new, thinner Tour Urethane Cover, which is extremely durable and resilient. This thinner cover helps to optimize spin for each club in the bag, promoting lower spin off longer shots, outstanding control on approach and short game shots, and excellent feel off your irons and wedges.
A new aerodynamic pattern completes the performance package, reducing drag to provide even longer distance and consistent trajectory.
It is designed to produce low driver and long iron spin for incredible straight distance. The advance mantle and cover work in unison to provide incredible approach and greenside performance. Engineered for straight distance.
The construction of the E6 is combined with the new delta dimple.
Titleist have been one of the leaders in the field when it comes to golf balls for quite some time. They have developed some of the best technology when it comes to golf balls and are one of the most trusted brands with good reason.
The TruFeel is the newest ball to add to the collection, and these offer some fantastic features that will be sure to help many golfers around the world achieve their best scores.
Get distance and soft feel with Noodle Long & Soft. Featuring 342 aerodynamic dimples that help cut air resistance for a longer carry and an ultra-soft 34 compression core, golfers will experience distance and feel when they need it most.
As a former 4 handicap golfer I have tried just about everything. Due to health and physical issues I am not able to bomb it like I use to, but this ball gives me nearly the same distance with my irons as well as the spin I never had before.
Soft off the club face. Great trajectory, carry, and overall distance. I don’t lose too many balls and can afford the more expensive ones but I’m sticking with these. It’s not much of an investment to try them out.
Once you do I think you’ll agree that these really are a great ball and great deal.
Fantastic affordable ball for players looking for a low-spin option in the Taylormade brand family. Side-spin is greatly reduced on the exaggerated over-the-top slice swings (my key miss when swinging too hard).
If you’re looking for a ball to keep the hole in play off the tee and a 3w or hybrid. this one is it. To be fair, you’ll need to account for lack of spin around the greens. but that’s a good trade-off for me.
With a rangefinder, I’ll shoot the front of the green knowing it’ll release at least 1/3 to 1/2 green deep on me (which has the added benefit of a 1/2 club less needed). Highly recommend.
I started playing Noodle’s last summer when I realized I was going broke losing premium balls. With practice, my game improved and I don’t lose as many balls but I still play Noodle. They are predicable, I have a good feel for how they play, including short game.
I’ve also found them to be durable. Minimal scuffing/scratching after a bounce on the cart path or a couple shots out of the sand.
Experience the feel of distance and control with the Titleist True Feel Golf Balls. Redesigned with a new core and a new cover, the True Feel delivers longer distance on all shots. Its the softest feeling Titleist and provides superior distance through low spin on long shots and increases short game spin for stopping power on the green.
At Titleist, R&D specifically designed True Feel to be soft and just as important provide best in class performance for your game.
I was so disappointed that I was no longer able to find more of the older Pinnacle Gold optic yellow balls I was so used to and loved. Every where I shopped they were out of stock, obviously making way for a new generation of Pinnacle.
Tried several other brands which were either too soft or like a rock. None had that famous “roll” of those Pinnacles either (If you play them you know what I mean!) Finally tried the Rush which I had been told was not for ladies and that we ladies prefer those “softer” balls.
(But the yellow balls were on back order at my pro shop, so white it was). I thought to give them a try anyway. Well I can say that the new Pinnacle Rush flew off that first tee shot like a rocket and rolled out there forever, clearly adding a lot of extra distance.
Got amazing feedback off the club too. They are my new best friend.
Still nearly freezing out so no course review. Putting is a very smooth roll with indoor practice. The pink is what I’d call a gentle pink, not garish nor distractingly bright. I especially like the 15 balls for a dozen price as well!.
