20 Best Goggles For Atv Riding (2023 Updated)

These are made for riding ATVs and work great. They are good value for the cost. My eye doctor said to keep so much debris from getting in to my eyes, to wear goggles when riding. These seem to work well, with filtered air vents on them as well.

I have not used them in very hot weather yet but I will probably have to in order to keep all that dust from getting in to my eyes.

Over all so far they get the job done. My eight year old loves them. They look cool and like he can keep up with the big boys. They do get foggy after a while. Adj strap and fits his face well. Easy to place the helmet over it.

They come with extra padding to replace as well.

These goggles are well made, and have a comfortable fit. My husband and I both like them very much. I would buy them again.

Being the sand version, these have much thicker foam for venting which makes it very nice for riders with dry eyes like myself. They came with two lenses, one light tint, and one clear. I bought a dark tinted one, was disappointed we didn’t get a dark tint version, and it wasn’t clear on the description.

On my Harley Road King with full winscreen and doing around 50-55mph, can’t feel any wind on my eyes. The port is also very wide and feel like I can see a lot better versus my full face. I’m using these with an AGV x101 mx style helmet.

Have had these for 3 seasons and still use the original lens. It is a bit worse for wear, some scratches and damage to the lens but the light sensitive feature still works just as well as it did when they were new.

I particularly like not having to swap out lenses for long rides that go into the night. Transition time is not remarkably fast and so I have had one or two situations where it was a bit too dark of a tint going into a wooded area.

I enjoyed the shape of these goggled so much that I bought another tinted lens that I could use for really sunny days as the light sensitive lens does not get super dark.

Bought with orange lens last summer and have since worn them a ton through all conditions – extreme heat, cold, rain, dirt, mud, sand, dust, gravel, forest single track, double track etc. Never even notice they are there except when a branch bounces off them or a bug hits them at 100km/hr! They are super comfortable, have great visibility, look great, have never fogged up and I haven’t even scratched the lens – and I am not careful with them.

I would definitely buy again – though these show now signs of wear so I am sure they will last for quite a while. Sure you could spend more – but why?.

I normally like Scott stuff because it is no frills but straight forward and reasonable quality. However, installing new lenses on these requires four tabs to be held open at the same time. Once you open the tabs, they want to close again.

When you open the right, the left snaps shut. It’s somewhat maddening and I can only imagine being in a hurry at a race. I even went to the website and watched the video. Of course the guy who does this every day and works for Scott makes it look easy.

I’m actually afraid of ripping the foam because it requires so much effort. Additionally, they are a bit small on the face. I’m 5′-8″ and have a medium sized head/helmet. These goggles seem to be somewhat small in the horizontal direction.

Great goggles especially for the price. Fog instantly goes away even when im wearing my balaclava under my helmet. They sit flush with my helmet and provide a good amount of visibility. I use them with my Klim Krios Pro (size large helmet).

Outperformed what my initial concerns would be. Do not fog, clear vision while riding. Protection all around the eyes. Easy cleaning and also fast washing. Foam drys faster than expected. Compared to more expensive goggles these are great value for multiple riders in any family.

Bought these for the kids to use while ATV’ing. Didn’t want to pay much given how poorly they’ll probably take care of them! The lenses look clear with no distortion. Supposedly they have an anti-fog coating but haven’t been able to test that feature as it’s been too warm to have any condensation build-up.

Hopefully it works as claimed because the amount of ventilation looks pretty limited – not the full perimeter foam venting like you’d find on a pair od Scott brand goggles. Also, the amount of anti-slip material on the strap seems minute to the point of not being noticeable but so far I haven’t had any issues with slippage off the helmets.

I bought these with the open face Raider helmet for an ATV that I ride. While the helmet is not a legal requirement, eye protection is. These work well and keep debris out of your eyes for safe operation.

I’ve had these for a little over 6 months now and have logged about 70 (dirt bike) hours on them along with a few ADV rides. To provide some context of how I’ve used them: I have ridden with them in scorching July heat in Moab, in the cold rain of the Rockies in Colorado, in the muggy hot swamps of New Jersey in August, and in cool crisp central PA in September.

I have used them in the bright light of the high desert and dimly lit forests at dusk. These things are awesome. Easily my favorite goggles yet. A couple of the game changers for me: Quick lens changes: The idea of changing a lens on the side of the trail or during a dual sport or enduro would have never been a consideration in the past.

The new system makes lens swapping or even just cleaning a breeze. So easy to use. Sweat dissipation: I sweat. A lot. The little holes in the foam do a great job of channeling the sweat out to the frame rails and then down and around the outside of the goggles, not into my eyes.

These have been the best I’ve tried yet for this. Optical clarity: I opted for the HiPER lens. It reminds me of a polarized pair of sunglasses. Excellent contrast even in low light. Only issues: I think it sucks that you have to buy the clear lens separately.

For the money the clear lens should be included with a set of tear-offs (just like they do with the Race Crafts). I’m also looking forward to a wider selection of colors. Final thoughts: The price is going to keep some people away, and that’s understandable.

But if you’re regularly riding dirt, especially in enduro and dual sport situations where you’ve got your goggles on all day with varying light and temperatures, these are a game changer. Would highly recommend.

I got the the sunshade and they are perfect. they stay in place and very comfortable. If your sunglasses dig in your head, push down on your nose or have trouble shoving them on after helmet is one, the goggles are your solution.

(and they look cool!).

Im a new rider, I purchased an open face helmet and I thought the bobster cruisers would work well with my helmet. They do fit around the out side of the helmet but there off my face and there are big gaps so I have to wear them on the inside of the helmet, they kill my ears! I love that you can change the lensens, get value for the price, the foam will last you a season.

Awsome goggles. Nice fit, lots of viewing area. no tunnel vision or feeling of wearing blinders. The foam is a bit cheap. but for the price. can live with it. Had prescription transition lenses put in them.

be aware that this can be expensive. it is a big lens and even single vision can cost a few hundred. I bout 3 more pairs of these goggles for when the foam gets worn out, I’ll have replacements.

Great fit for youth or adult helmet. Got it for a size small adult helmet and it fits great. The mirror lens one is perfect for dune riding. These FMF brand goggles are basically the same as the 100% youth strata 2 goggles but at a much cheaper price.

I purchased these for a present for a young friend, he loved them and even went to bed that night with them on! It was good that they were able to go to a local cycle shop “Richards” for collection. V happy!.

Exactly what the Dr. Ordered. These have survived mud and sun and cold for just over 2 years. Still cleans up nicely and the elastic is also still holding up well.

These fit over my Rayban prescription sunglasses with room to spare. Fit around the nose is tight so I removed a layer of foam in that area to keep my nose from pinching shut. They stay clear most of the time and only fog when I am really sweating and come to a stop.

Start moving and pop the open for a second and they clear right away. I am happy with them overall and i bought a second pair as a spare.

Good, light-weight and very well-vented goggles for glasses-wearers. The lens is a light grey which is not too dark for night use – and is helpful for oncoming headlights. I believe you can swap out the lenses, and certainly you can overlay them with tear-offs.

The only detraction: the elastic strap is not designed to hold the goggles onto your helmet after you have taken the lid off. They are fine when riding – even fast. But as you walk with the goggles in the helmet and the strap still around the back, the silicon – rubber is not sticky enough to prevent them falling.

They can slip off the helmet and get lost. This is my third or fourth pair of goggles in two years – dropping off my helmet, after riding as I walked with the helmet in hand. This time – I’ll add a Velcro fastener or secondary fastener to the strap.

They look great, the feel good but ride very low on your face. Mostly though, i don’t find the lenses very clear. After about 2-3 minutes of wearing them, my eyes adjust but i feel like I’m looking throgh the plastic film that they ship with when i put them on.

I have triple checked and even tried 3 different lenses but with no real change, although clear seems pretty decent. Problem is that clear doesn’t do much for you in the bright sun. Also, if you get them, get a dark frame interior.

Mine are black on the outside but for some reason, yellow on the inside and i get a tremendous amount of yellow reflection in my vision. I’m really not sure what’s wrong with me or these because they get such good reviews.

Oakley x Troy lee design colab? Yes please. This is a great goggle that will surely grab bikers attention…in a good way. The tint is enough to be used on sunny day bike ride, skiing, and even skydiving.

Yes, skydiving. The strap is very cool and fits perfectly on my giro helmets. Would definitely but again if this one goes bad or get lost.

These goggles are awesome. I really like the tinted lenses. It is just enough to filter the sun light but not too dark. The TLD design is spot on! I use mine for pit stops, but will try them out shortly on a MTB trip.

I highly recommend them.

I love the goggles but have had continued issues with them fogging up even after applying a non fog spray to the lense. I’ve also had to remove the tear off pins from the lense itself and made 2 very minor mods in the bottom of each side in an attempt to prevent fogging issues.

It’s been pretty frustrating.

Bought these goggles to replace some old vintage pair I had. The strap can go over or under my helmet which is nice, but I find my side view is hindered even when I turn my head. They’re going in my saddlebag as a backup.

Good price though.

Being someone with bad allergies and contacts, this is the only pair of goggles I’ve found that seals up good enough to limit the ichy eyes. The foam is wider than most and limits the “fold over”. Other reviews state these limit your peripheral vision which I haven’t found to be a problem.

Only complaint is I wish they were a little bigger to limit them from pushing in on my eyes. Dennis Kirk never disappoints. I just wish they still sent out the paper catalogs!.

I ordered these thinking they would be nice for night riding, or whenever it would be too dark to wear black tinted sunglasses. Unfortunately they are a bit darker than I had anticipated. I haven’t tried riding at night with them, but I would prefer something just a shade brighter.

They are also a bit smaller (vertical dimension) than I would like, so they don’t sit perfectly on my head. Still, they look pretty cool, and seem to be of pretty quality construction.

Bought these goggles because I had a bad crash and completely destroyed my old pair of goggles (don’t worry my eyes are okay). When these goggles arrived they came in a super cool black/gray plastic case that just looked like a hundred bucks.

The quality of the goggles are of what you would expect from Scott; great. The helmet band of the goggles has a “rubber strip” on it that wraps with the band to help grip your helmet, which is a MAJOR plus.

It just sticks on my helmet!!! For under $20 I don’t think you will find a better pair of goggles. In all honesty though, my riding buddies have goggles that are above $50 and when they saw these goggles they all thought it was in that price range.

Been running Scotts for a few years. Their previous Hustle and Tyrants are sweet. Just got these 2016 last week. Um. they went big time backwards with the face foam, nose cut out in the foam. Basically the Absorbing pad is chintzy compared to previous models.

The nose portion of the foam is way narrow compared to previous years as well. I have a large nose and can hardly breath. The add says fit system. well it most defiantly does NOT have the Fit system.

not sure what is up with that. I wasn’t to happy and planned to send them back, but my 7 year old loved the color, so he got a new pair of goggles. If that is any indication of the sizing on these. I plan to make some calls about the goggles them selves.

but if you liked the 2014-2015 models like i did. they are not the same. ???? TECH NOTE: SCOTT TYRANT IS THE ONLY MODEL TO FEATURE THE FIT SYSTEM AS OF 2015.

I personally like the Scott recoil works system & have used this style of google’s for many years racing in our hare scramble series in the Midwest. You just can’t beat them when it comes to multiple conditions of weather that we deal with.

I am not a fan of the lenses that have the little dots for rainy weather. I myself would recommend these to most off road riders. Smitty -m-2008 KAWASAKI KFX 450R–.

I needed some type of eye protection while wearing my half helmet, as I wear contacts and plain old sunglasses just don’t cut it. These form a perfect seal around my face, barely ever give me problems by fogging up, and have been very comfortable to wear over long drives.

Definitely 5 stars.

Inexpensive , Light weight, full field of vision, no wind in your eyes and comfortable as a kitty on your face . What more could you want.

These goggles are very nice. NOTE: out of the box the fog up really easy I recommend prepping the lens before your first ride. Because I didn’t and regretted it. And basically had to remove them and ride with no goggles until I prepped them with anti fog.

Really like the fit, they seal tight on my face to keep the dust out, yet very comfortable. Only negative is the strap is short. barley fits on my helmet
