Machine arrived on a large truck and large pallet (4′ x 8′) in 5 separate boxes. All boxes were banded together well and secured to the pallet. I removed everything from the boxes and packaging and brought each part into the gym for assembly.

All items were packed well and clearly marked for assembly. Assembly instructions were very detailed on A4 sized sheets of paper. While assembly of some items are okay for one person, the final assembly is definitely a two-person job.

This unit is very heavy – sturdy and well made. Fortunately the main mechanism came pre-assembled. This saved some time, but it is the heaviest single item you’ll have to deal with. I think my wife and I had it all assembled in about 2 hours; including beer breaks! Now finally I have a reliable LEG routine that won’t over-exert my lumbar like squats tended to do.

Plus I can now do one-legged presses so one leg won’t over power the other – which tends to happen on the knee rehab leg – and I can keep my legs more equal on strength.

Great piece of equipment at an affordable price. This is the second leg press machine of the same type, make and model that I have purchased from FS the first lasted 10 years. I am hopeful that the 4 wheels that allow the carriage to move up and down are better quality than on the previous model – these wore unevenly and had to be replaced – cost of replacement is expensive, service dept difficult to get through to by phone and email and fitting of replacement wheels extremely difficult without assistance Self assembly requires 2 persons.

Instructions are comprehensive however some steps are difficult to follow.

Love this leg machine!! Smooth easy transition from leg press to hack squat. Great quality and great looking addition to my home gym. About a 3 hour assembly. Highly recommend this to anyone who looks to take leg workouts to the next level.

I shopped long and hard for a versatile gym system compact enough to fit in our garage that had enough weight to ensure I could progressively increase the intensity of my workouts. The PX2 is extremely well-engineered and functional.

Moving through a workout is easy, adjusting the seat, back pad and arms is quick and intuitive. I can pop into the garage, bang out 3 sets each of 11 exercises in 90 minutes, and head inside for dinner.

I can also head down between Zoom meetings to get the blood flowing back to my head. No time wasted traveling to a gym, or waiting for machines to open up while lollygaggers socialize. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I wanted to switch from an old power cage using weight plates to a stack weight system. The Powerline P2LPX is the perfect solution. The injuries sustained over the years limit my comfortable range of motion allowed by my joints.

Fortunately the P2LPX allows for controlled joint articulation and repetitive rep movements. The leg press really helps to control pain and injury in my failing knees. While space was not an issue for me the P2LPX does not occupy a large area, although it is over 6 ft tall.

Assembly is a time consuming project. Give yourself a day or two to complete the process. It’s not overly complicated and anyone with basic mechanical skills can accomplish the assembly process. Just be patient.

Good home gym. Installation was easy as majority of parts were assembled. It’s compact and easy to use. Our family love using this home gym!

Having struggled with knee pain when squatting caused by years of crossfit and mobility problems I wanted something that would allow me to lift safely and pain free with no post workout knee soreness.

I considered leg presses and hack squats but the machines were all too big for my garage gym so i gave this vertical leg press a go. I only use it for presses and calf raises but it’s absolutely brilliant, no knee pain, no spotter needed, fits nicely without taking up too much real estate and allows me to work HARD on my legs.

I did spray a generous amount of WD40 on the sliding uprights when first purchased as it was a bit stiff and squeaky, it is a little tricky to put together in places as some of the holes are not perfectly aligned and to load heavy you need to be able to lift the weight plates (which could be an issue for those not used to slinging plates around) but for me none of these are issues especially considering how much cheaper this is than the alternatives.

The only problem I can (hopefully) foresee is the load limit of 400lbs which for very serious lifters may be a little restricting, but for me at 80kg doing sets of 10, this would be a nice problem to have.

I recently purchased the vertical leg press & I’m very impressed with the overall construction of the machine. It’s fairly straightforward to put together & you can do all leg press variations plus calves.

Great addition to my home gym as it’s space saving & easy to use. The poles either side are a bit squeaky at first. I used Vaseline as well as the spray that came with it & after a while the noise stopped completely.

Fast delivery. the tracking could be better but the courier calls on arrival so can’t fault that really! Overall a great purchase & highly recommend 👍.

Very strong and sturdy leg press, assembly leaflet very clear with diagrams. Concise instructions showing correct bolts etc to fit. Big thick pad to lie on and rest head on. Although the sliding action lifting and lowering is smooth with no shuddering it does screech loudly.

I had to spray both posts with WD40 to stop the noise. The foot plate is wide enough and long enough to accommodate different foot placements. Delivery time was slower than expected, 12 working days.

I understand January is a busy month for orders but maybe using more than one courier would cut the delivery time down. Overall 8 out of 10 for price, space saving size, sturdiness and ease of use. I would recommend this product.

This has been a great gym for us. Quality at its best. All the pulleys are smooth there are so many added options we bought. There’s nothing left to need except a personal trainer. I still incorporate my treadmill daily.

Compare to other available Gym’s, this one very bad quality and very tough to install. Its contains Vinyl weights. But in the market vinyl weight gym price around $300. Its selling high market price with not much quality.

This one is not a good choice for best work out. Need more space compare to other market models. Very cheap metal used for the Skelton( Cheap Aluminum quality). One word its not good one. There is 100% chance to missing parts, you need to call them and takes another week.

Assembling time compare to other 10 times more. My friendly suggestion please don’t buy.

I bought this for my wife , one plate is to heavy for her for curl and upright rows, if you try to use just with top plate the center pin gets caught to one side. Low price low quality,disappointing

For the price, this is a steal. It is very well made and sturdy for this price. It’s ideal for a typical home gym user who doesn’t abuse their equipment, although the padding/stitching might not last long in a commercial environment.

It comes almost fully assembled out of the box.

This was a fantastic deal. Havent done sissy squats before and now with this machine Im doing them every leg workout is after my squats. Great addition to my home gym. I hold a 45 pound plate across my chest and go deep.

I was able to commence assembly straight away. The Powerline functional trainer meets all my needs and more. It replaced my old quad cable machine that I had for 20 plus years and I’m sure with the quality of my new machine it will last just as long.

The cables run smooth, the weight stack is more than enough and the pull up bar is solid when doing chins or hanging leg raises. Easy to put together by yourself if you have a background in exercise equipment, it takes about 3 hours for one person, but would recommend two people if available.

I was very nervous to spend the money on this because I didn’t believe I could get a high quality trainer for this price. Installation was lengthy and a bit tedious, but certainly very straightforward.

Took me about 3-4 hours. The machine is incredibly smooth. In fact, it’s smoother than what I’m used to at the gym which I was not expecting. It’s very sturdy and looks like it will pass the test of time.

I’ve used it nearly every day for about a month now and nothing has deteriorated. The only negative I can find is that when I lower the handles, a ton of slack gets in the cables and it looks like it could slip off the bottom pulley.

I simply keep a tiny bit of tension in the line when I lower it now and I’ve never had a problem. The weight stack is sufficient for pretty much any basic cable exercise; but isn’t great for pull downs or low rows because those moves typically use a single stack and 160 pounds isn’t enough weight.

I purchased a straight bar attachment with hooks on both ends that allowed me to use both stacks at once. It was around $20 on Amazon and allows me to do heavier row exercises. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied.

I’ve always relied on free weights and Olympic lifting in the past, but the PFT 100 has allowed me to experiment more and do things I wouldn’t ever try in a commercial gym. I’m relying on it more and more and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a solid home gym centerpiece without a huge price tag.

Lastly, I was very happy with the customer service. Joe responds personally to questions very quickly. I had no issues with preserving or delivery. Very pleased with Strength Warehouse.

I had originally bought the cheaper version of this, yes4all, but the castor wheels didn’t have the right washer and glider so the wheels kept rubbing against the equipment and didn’t roll well. This one however, was very smooth and sturdy.

Quite the difference between the 2 products. While it was easy to assemble, it would’ve been better if Titan also provided a wrench to lock in the washers and screws. I had to improve because I didn’t have that particular size.

This will get the job done. Welds are ugly. Titan sticker slapped on crooked. That being said, it works fine and it is sturdy. It shipped super fast and free. Best value for sure, and you get what you pay for.

Also The stock website image has the wheels put on backwards if the instructions are correct. The bolts should come through the other way. Lol.

I was very skeptical about this piece of equipment!! But Iv used it twice now and it absolutely isolates my hamstrings like no joke! It rolls very well even over a very short plié carpet! It’s smooth and hold your heels or toes in very well! My hamstrings were screaming during and after I used it for 4 sets ! Prior to my first daughter being born 2. 5 years ago, I was a fairly active person, regularly running 25-30 miles/week and even running several ultramarathons. Strength training wasn’t a priority, but something I occasionally did.

I am currently still doing the “introductory” 20 minute workout plan as I get more comfortable with the equipment and build up strength, but I don’t feel like I am losing out on strength development by not using regular weights.

Also, I am actually motivated to get out of bed at 4:45 every morning to work out before getting the kids up for daycare. I was so excited for this to arrive I took the day off work. As a disabled veteran with limitations this has changed my life. I’ve only had it less than a month and the difference in how I feel about myself and the convenience of having it in my garage make this the best new purchase of 2022 besides my new house.

I can get a full body workout in 30 to 45 minutes. I have spent some time in the gym previously so I know my way around a cable system and how to work my muscle groups. To a new comer it may seem like a lot but as with anything, the more you practice the better you become.

Don’t discourage yourself, believe in yourself and know that this piece of equipment is what you are looking for. The set up is step by step, follow the piece of paper, lay out all the boxes but keep all the stuff in the boxes.

Wait until the instruction tell you to open. Other than that, I’ve found that metal coat hooks can store the attachments on the wall. I really need the weight holder rack but I can’t afford it. Also, you can leave the weights on the bar and as long as they aren’t locked in they won’t create any resistance.

Once you get a pattern of how you work out, you can arrange and just slide and lock. The #sweepstakes win would be life changing.

Someone else reviewed this and said that it wasn’t great to have as a Power Lifter. Now, I’m a Power Lifter and have been for many years. The honest truth is that I find this machine a great piece of kit when I can’t get to the gym.

and you can really load it up as well. so long as you’ve got slim, heavy weights. because the bars on each side are only so big! I often slap 260Kg on there for a number of sets with reasonably high reps.

Whilst it wobbles a bit, so long as you have a stable technique, you’re fine. The kit is great, easy to use, easy to assmble and easy to maintain. As with any weight machines; you need to check and ensure that everything is tight each time you use it.

After all, you don’t want anything to drop off in mid-lift, especially at higher weights as that could be pretty dangerous. I’d definitely recommend this. Fits in the garage nice and easily.

So let’s cut to the chase. 1. Can you squat past parallel on this machine? With your feet flat on the floor,the answer is yes. The machine actually has two holes to choose from for the stop position in it that allows the bar to travel further if you want to deep squat.

I’m not really sure you can see that in the actual picture. You can also use that angle plate which I did but I actually prefer to stand flat-footed on the floor, it is just more comfortable for me. I am 6’1″by the way.

2. Does it totally feel the same as squatting freestyle? The answer is no. And this is my opinion. But nothing is going to be the same as a freestyle barbell squat because in the latter you have to control everything from start to finish.

That is not a dealbreaker for me because I have back issues and it’s just one less thing for me to have to worry about. 3. Does the rounded calf bar make a difference? The answer is not really, but that’s a matter of preference I have a standing calf machine that has a flat bar and to me I get a good work out either way.

It really is just a matter of preference, and your comfort level. Conclusion, Overall it’s a great machine, and it is very well made. It took me a couple workout sessions to really get the feel of it trying to squat flat-footed and also using the angled platform, After that I am pretty sure you will enjoy it.

I really like my new Body Solid Squat and Calf machine. Perfect addition to my home gym. Takes up minimal space for a leg machine. The round bar for the calf raises seems to target the entire calf muscle really well, and using the angle plate for squatting makes the quads scream.

You can also use the flat plate that rests on the floor, or like I did, I have a stepper that I can place over the flat plate on the floor that raises me up about another 6″ and allows for even deeper squats that way.

Is it as heavy as gym euipment? Well, I’ve worked out at dozens of gyms all over the country in the last 35+ years, and I can tell you that in my opinion it falls into the top 10% – 15% of what I have used in gyms.

While I don’t think it would be recommended to go crazy heavy on this machine, I would think it can handle 400 pounds easily, and probably 500 pounds safely. (I’m 53 now, so for me those super heavy days are over).

Aslo, it may be a little difficult for taller lifters. Using the machine once you’re in it wll be fine, but getting in and out of it if you’re much taller than 5′ 10″ – 6″ tall may be a tad difficult, unless you’re flexible.

I’m about 5′ 6″ tall, so no problem at all for me. All in all, it’s one heck of a nice machine for home use to get those calves and quads pumped up nicely!!.

Bought this during covid-19 and it was hard to find. The closest one I could find was at a Dicks about 85 miles away. These were flying off the shelf so I bought one online and made the long drive to pick it up.

You can find this from online retailers, but those prices were way over inflated and many of the reviews talked about damage. I am guessing their delivery people weren’t as careful as the Dicks staff because mine had no damage at all.

I just recently set it up and only time will tell for sure, but the machine feels way more solid than I would have expected for the amount I spent! This is a great buy. Only negatives that I could find are the directions could be a little better (see below) and its a little short on the hardware.

This comes with a chain and two quick links – enough to connect the pull down bar but you have to disconnect the pull down bar to connect the ankle strap. This is not a big deal – its easy enough to switch it out or spend a few bucks at the hardware store and problem solved.

Assembly. The instructions are ok but there were a few things that were not clear. Here’s a few tips: 1. There are holes on the sides of the rods that the weights are slid down over. It does not matter what direction these holes are pointing.

The holes are only there so you can insert a lock (direction not important). I spent a long time trying to figure this out. 2. The upper most weight has holes on the top and bottom and a few grooves in the top.

The picture in the directions make it look like the holes only side should be up. The rod that you insert the pin into to select the weights will not go all the way down and I cannot use the bottom weight.

I think the top weight should have the grooves side up so the rod can insert deeper into the weight stack. 3. It is very easy to overlook the rectangular double washer plates that go below where the two vertical pieces that hold the bench attach to the piece that runs along the floor.

I only realized I missed these when I was done and now have to unbuild most of it to install these. Just a heads up. the Dicks website say this is MWM-990. When I picked mine up, the boxes said it is MWM-989.

I called Marcy to ask about this and they said it is the same machine with a slightly different trim just for Dicks. The one I have looks like the pictures so I am not sure what the difference is, I just wanted to let readers know the machines function the same, so don’t freak out if your boxes say MWM-989.

Another heads up, Marcy has a video showing someone working out with this machine. The video shows him using a short bar to do curls. This machine comes with the pull down bar, but the shorter bar in the video is not included.

You can still use the pull down bar for the curls or purchase the shorter bar separately.

It took me about 4-5 hours to set it up. Instructions were okay but could be better, I had lots of experience in putting some furniture together so it was pretty easy to figure out. It comes with spare parts as well.

The size is pretty compact, roughly about 69†in length, 78†high and 35†wide. The gym itself is pretty good, it comes with a regular bar that can be used for pull-downs/biceps curls. It does need some tweaking once it’s finished though.

Do not tightened the bench press too much in order for you to get the full range of motion. However, my partner (who is much taller than me) can’t do all the exercises because it’s too cramped. I found out that it’s not recommended for anyone who’s 6’ tall or more.

The home gym as a whole is durable and pretty comfortable for the price. This is coming from a 6. 3′ 270lb guy. I’m maxing it out constantly so it holds up. My only gripe is the casing on the bottom cable stripped off after a week of use.

Nothing major and yes it is correct. It’s Ironic because Marcy equipments slogan is “when you finally get serious”. Well I guess I’m too serious. Marcy said they would replace the cable with proof of purchase, but I normally don’t expect gym equipment to fail so I didn’t save the receipt, plus there’s nothing wrong with the cable I’d just strip the new one again I’m sure.

Delivered in time as promised. Product was well packaged and when actually seeing how many individual parts there are to assemble, it can seem a daunting task. Fear not, instructions are very clear, parts are packaged separately for each step and labelled step 1, step 2, etc.

You will need to allocate around 6 hours, and don’t rush ahead, step by step. One piece of advice, there are some clearer assembly diagrams at the back of the book for the more detailed parts. This is a seriously well built and well designed piece of kit and the assembly instructions for something built from so many parts are a credit to Body-Solid.

Can’t recommend Fitness Superstore and this gym highly enough, you won’t be disappointed. Lastly, a special shout out for Karl who we dealt with.

I currently own one of these. The correct Model name is the Body Solid exm 1550 LPS. This model has been discontinued now, but there are some wonderful bargains on these in used condition, out there, now.

Previously I owned a Body Solid exm 3000 LPS. This one ( the 1550 ) is a little more limited in its stations compared to the 3000, but it has some great features like that Biangular arm Chest Press Shoulder station, that is wonderful very natural in its movement, giving you 25% more work on your arms and shoulders for the same movement as on the conventional arm press stations.

To me the seated Leg Extension feels easier on the legs than the same station on the exm 3000, which is slightly different in its engineering and construction. The Leg Press station is a very smooth station, and did you know that by using the lower part of the pedals with your toes and the balls of your feet you are doing a Toe Raise? The machine is very easy to use, very smooth and quiet in its operation, I suggest oiling it about once a month.

It is simple and effective, easy to get in and out of, doesn’t take up a lot of room, looks attractive and has about 20 exercise movements you can do on it. I am very happy with mine! Sorry that I can’t add photos at this time.

Maybe sometime soon.

I purchased the G1S on Sam’s Club’s website after looking at several other home gyms on other sites. The G1S is made by Body Solid, so I went onto their website and was very impressed by the quality of the equipment they had to offer, they make commercial work out equipment, as well as home gyms and accessories.

The gym arrived in several boxes on a pallet via ups freight about 10 days after ordering. (the driver had a pallet jack and was able to wheel it right into my garage) Everything was packed very well and the quality of the parts was impressive, mostly high quality steel, the only plastic I can think of are the caps that snap into the holes at the ends of the steel square tubes that make up the frame.

The seat, backrest and tubular cushions for your legs are very good quality. The instructions were very clear and everything fit together nice and tight. It took about 8 hours to assemble but was very much worth the effort, it was actually kind of fun.

The fasteners are separated in small bags and labeled for each step. Allen wrenches are provided, however, I would recommend having a rubber mallet for the end caps, a socket set for the nuts and bolts and a tape measure for the cables, as there are 4 cables of different lengths and you will need to install them in the correct order.

Just take your time and use a little common sense and it will all come together just fine. When I completed the assembly there were no parts left over. HINT: You will need to fine adjust the cable tension in 1 of 3 ways as described in the instructions.

There is a double pulley with 4 bolt holes on each end, I installed the bolts in the 2nd hole from the end on both ends of the pulley and the tension was perfect. (you will understand what I mean when you get there) The machine is awesome and I can tell it will last a lifetime.

I LOVE IT !!! One more thing, one of the tubular leg cushions was slightly deformed (nothing big) and I was a little tired and installed the weight #’s that label the steel weight plates backwards (160lbs to 10lbs instead of the other way around) Duh!!! I called Body Solid customer service and they sent new ones with no questions asked.

I bought this a 5 years ago. It took 8 hours to put together with the crude instructions. I don’t know if they changed them, but man… it was not step by step. It was literally a bunch of pictures with the quantity of that specific part.

After it was completed it was almost as if it needed grease on the pulley system and the support bars for that holds the Olympic bar in place. They seemed to take a lot of extra effort to move when using either.

In short. I sold it and put it together for the new owner. It seemed to work smoother after putting it back together for the new owner. I would just buy a more expensive one next time to try my luck… and no pulleys.

For the price it’s a great home gym that lets you do pretty much everything you could want. I’ve been lifting as my main hobby for over 10 years now and got this to replace my old cage that was finally on its last leg.

I love the extra options this has, the butterfly, dual top cables, good low pully; for what you get it’s a great machine. For anyone curious, it took me about 4-5 hours start to finish to put it together by myself, not too bad and it was easy enough.

Solid machine. Construction and finish are top notch; bearings are smooth and welds look great. Setting up was pretty easy. The machine is tall, but has essentially the same footprint as the GHD, so you get two machines in the same SF.

With this latest iteration, if you’re below 5’10”, you can orient the footpad support bar in the opposite direction and requires zero modifications. This makes glute ham raises no problem for shorter people.

You can see in my picture how I put it together. It also looks like Titan has upgraded to the grippy vinyl. I’m very satisfied with my purchase and there’s not a better price out there for a combo unit right now.

The machine is sturdy and great for larger athletes. The hip pad and foot pads do not get close enough for smaller athletes to do GHD sit ups. I was not given the correct hardware and had to wait over a week for replacement hardware.

They did credit me &50 but having a 1/2 put together machine in my gym for that long was unsafe and frustrating. Directions and bolt numbers did not match up and the replacement hardware was sent in 2 bags with no numbers.

Frustrating experience.

The HPND COMBO is the ultimate home gym piece of equipment. Yes, it’s large but the options of including each muscle group are just as large. This machine will literally work whatever muscle group you want, and also helps to keep your hamstrings and low back ready for deadlifts.

I cannot say enough good things about this. I would most definitely order this again. It’s solid with a great price tag.

The welds and the machine are of excellent quality! However you have to construct it first to get to this point! You are given 2 sided instructions with a diagram that has over 50 things to do on the first pg.

There are 13-14 pages! And get this: you get all of the nuts, bolts, and washers in ONE bag, thrown together, no labeling! You have to spend an hr separating, measuring, and labeling them before starting! Have a measuring tape handy!!! If you don’t do this step first, then you will regret it! It does take 2 people to assemble, especially the overhead beam.

I wouldn’t recommend doing that part by yourself. You will have to infer and extrapolate at times! I do not recommend putting the pulleys in the upright or overhead pieces until you are ready to put in the wires.

Why? You will just have to take them out to do so even though it has you putting them in very early in the process. Don’t despair if you didn’t get something right, it’s easy to go back and fix it after cussing.

Once assembled it looks great and is an awesome machine. It would be great if it gave lubricating instructions! I could use those. Such as which parts to lubricate. Now that it’s assembled you will need to play with the seating positions to get the best workout for your height and build.

Did I mention it looks fabulous and is very solid! Oh and you will hit your head during assembly, numerous times. Avoid this if you can!.

Order the GHD on Jan 25th after doing a lot of research on who was offering the best quality, and price. Admittedly, I was set on NEVER buying from titan again after I had terrible customer service and missing parts when I bought the dead lift platform last year.

HOWEVER, I read the reviews and looked at the pricing and decided to give titan another chance, and I’m glad that I did. Although I never did receive any shipping information after ordering, the packaging was actually fully in tact and all the parts to the GHD where present and accounted for.

Additionally, titan has taken measures to add in small pieces of wood to keep everything in place which if you’ve ever ordered one of their pieces, you know that this is crucial to keep the boxes in tack, mostly.

There is some scratching on the powder coating on some of the pieces. But that is very minor complaint, not a deal breaker. The assembly took about 2 hours and 15 minutes to complete, mostly due to the fact that the bolts used in assembly are so similar in size without any distinct markings of which size is what.

Luckily, being a former mechanic I used my best judgment on which bolts went where. With all that said I am glad I gave titan another chance and they did redeem themselves on the GHD. The GHD is very well built and very sturdy.

This machine will get a lot of use in my gym and I believe it will stand to last. My only complaints with the GHD is in the future to separate the bolts and/or mark them for future users to assemble faster and just overall safety of using the right bolts in the right spaces.

This is a big heavy device, so it feels stable. It won’t tip over on you. The foot holder can be adjusted forward and back and up and down so you can get it in the correct ergonomic position for yourself.

I’m also happy Titan stopped using toxic hex chrome coated hardware. On the down side one thigh pad sits an inch higher than the other. The hardware to assemble this device are very low grade class 4.

8. Moving the foot holder forward and back is slightly annoying because you have to unscrew the adjuster, then push or pull very hard to move the foot holder. This is inherent to the design where the foot holder is supported by two pivots.

Pay attention to the bolt lengths as everything comes in one bag. I just started putting it together without really looking at the instructions and the bolts differ about 5mm and upon first glance all kind of look the same size.

Otherwise, a breeze to put together. Did it my myself as a 120lb female. Great quality and better than spending more for Rogue! I recommend!.

Great piece of kit. Good value for money. Very smooth operation. A bit fiddly to put together (needs two people). I would highly recomend this machine if you train alone. My poundages have increased substantially due to the added safety.

I tore my pectoral a year and a half ago whilst bench pressing at home on my own. Surgery then lots of physio followed. I made a full recovery however I lost my bottle so to speak when it came to pressing 80kg +.

I bought the smiths machine without ever having used one before. Price. It’s not a cheap bit of kit but you get a lot for your money and it feels like a professional bit of kit. Delivery. Spot on, turned up at the day and time as expected.

Assembly. On the whole very easy. I did mine myself and the only tricky bit was getting the bar & sleaves over the pillars. The black plastic stubs came off (mostly) at this point but so far don’t seem too crucial.

Use. So far so excellent. Nothing compares to free weights imo but this really is the next best thing. If you’re going to lift heavy weights at home, unsupervised get this kit. DON’T get an injury first then get one, get it now and don’t get injured!.

So the smith machine is actually quite good if space is a premium like it is for me, you will definitely need the Olympic sleeve adaptors which are still out of stock. I was worried about the square tubular design not being as good as a round one but I have had no issues as of yet and it is just as smooth.

The biggest issues I have had are actually with fitness superstore, I ordered the machine for next day delivery and only one box turned up i rang them and was told the delivery company hadn’t collected the second box and they would get it sent out I contacted them again to arrange delivery and they said they would have to do a stock check of their warehouse to see if they still had it.

I informed them what I had been told and they said they would still have to do a stock check so a week later I finally get the second box in this week I’m looking around for the adaptors and come across the same machine for £100 cheaper and on top of that a 7% discount code so I again contacted fitness superstore with several emails which no one responded to about their price match.

Eventually I get a reply from someone called Andy who said it had to be authorised by a managing director and would get this done as soon as possible this was over a month ago now and I have emailed them again to which no reply.

So do yourself a favour if you want this machine order it direct at body solid it’s cheaper and the delivery’s are on time.

Great piece of equipment. Helps me stay in shape as I get older and continue to break personal bench press records. Great value for the price. Easier to put together than it looks.

This machine is very solid ,and a nice proper position for you upper chest development. Takes my strength and chest to the next level. This is my fourth plate loaded machine by steelflex !love them all very impressive,trust me! Martin D.
